As Henry proceeds to take the cover, Maria comes running down the ring and the referee gets distracted. Ziggler begins to come up but Henry delivers a massive clothesline and Ziggler rolls out of the ring. Henry proceeds to follow him but Ziggler comes back with the right hand. Ziggler gets over-powered soon and Henry pushes him into the barricades. Henry runs into the barricades to clothesline Ziggler but Ziggler moves away and puts Henry into the barricades. Backstage segment with Bischoff and Swagger:

Swagger comes to Bischoff and announces that Taker had already made the decision to go with Cena, and on Smackdown when Taker tested Swagger by making him his partner, Swagger could not do the needful and Cena turned out to be the hero saving Taker from the punt from Orton. Bischoff asks Swagger to relax and just wait as Taker will be taking the final decision only before the match. Bischoff also says that if Swagger is instrumental in Team RAW winning, then Swagger will be the No.1 contender to Taker’s WWE Title. Swagger smiles and leaves the office.

All the lumberjacks come out, most of them are Marella’s former disciples. Khali starts the match from his team. Khali takes the cover but Ryder breaks the count. Khali throws Ryder outside the ring and all the lumberjacks attack him as Ryder had turned on them to join Marella. JR – “Well King let me tell you something, this man has a lot of records to his name, he is 19-0 at Wrestlemania, but I have never seen such a dominant WWE Champion before as The Undertaker. He has done it all, he ended the streak of Ezekiel Jackson, he just ended the streak of World Champion Wade Barrett, I am proud to say that The Undertaker is Our WWE Champion”

Re: WWE: A New Era Beckons

Damn man, first of all hats off for the most shocking WWE moment i have ever seen anywhere. It gave me goosebumps really the last few moments of the event.

The Ziggler Henry starter was okay. It was expected Ziggler would retain but liked that there was a different kind of finish with the countout and Maria being involved. The Ryder Khali match served its purpose of being a comic thing and I am excited to see Khali vs Ryder in singles match and how Santino will have to save Ryder's streak.

Morrison vs Regal was surprisingly entertaining. I liked it how you went with a type of match in which both of them try to prove they are the bigger cheater lol. Unique booking there, and loved the result with Morrison being etched as a credible heel. The Jericho vs Edge result was shocking however the match was awesome. It was really a decisive one and I am not sure if Edge might retaliate for one more encounter with Y2J.

The last match was awesome, I liked the spot where Cena enters with the steel chair and decides between Barrett and Taker. Orton and Cena were the stars of the match, and Taker proved to be invincible being the sole survivor. However, if that would have ended there, however awesome the match was, I would have been a bit worried with an expected finish with Taker winning it.

But what happened thereafter was EPIC !!!!!!!! This was the best way of Cena heel turn. I now see how Cena was getting screwed everytime since the beginning of your BTB and never winning the WWE Title. I am really tuned for the next show and really would like to see the Cena character. One thing for sure, this MITB storyline did not disappoint !!! Thanks for such a brilliant read.

Re: WWE: A New Era Beckons

Heres a review for your Survivor Series PPV

Ziggler Vs Henry: Good match but suprised you made a ppv opener end in a countout. Usually the opener pumps everyone up. Really liked the moves you through in and very realistic. Looking forwrd to more from these two 5/10

Miz Vs Drew McIntyre: Really nice match, these two look like they would have good chemistry.. I am not sure how this started between the two but i am going to be reading more into your BTB from past shows. Looks like your building up drew really good and he could soon be a threat to a world champion. 6/10

The Lumberjack Match: Good filler, written good and entertained Rating N/A

Chris Jericho Vs Edge: This match was amazing i mean seriously it was. 16 Minutes of two men having a great bout. First of all the finish was really good with Jericho making edge tap...and then almost using a chair. This feud should go long if i am sure and i expect some show stealing matches in the future... 8/10

John Morriosn Vs William Regal: What a match man, this was right under the jericho/edge match..Top notch writting but believe it should have gone longer 7.5/10

MAIN EVENT : Classic Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match [Team RAW (The Undertaker, John Cena, CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus) vs Team Smackdown (Wade Barrett, Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, JBL, Batista)]:

Obviously this is the match of the night but i really liked how you booked this, Glad team raw won but Now what everyone has been talking about...CENA Turning heel. you turned him heel in a magnificant way...And Especially against The Undertaker..I Suppose at WrestleMania your going to have these two face...what a war would it be. BUT A REALLY SHOCKING ENDING...

PPV OVERALL 8/10: Great Show...some good matches, some amazing and then that Lumberjack Match with The Goofs :P!...great job man keep it up.. Looking forward to the next ppv and see what you do with Vince, Cena and Taker

Re: WWE: A New Era Beckons

Sorry about the delay, but here's your review for Survivor Series, finally.

The match style is kind of weird, I don't know if it's meant to be recaps or endings. You're not really recapping the match but if this was in full all the matches would be too short. i suggest for the future, writing only the endings of the match so you can write in full but get away with not writing as much.

Anyway, for match one, the right man won in the right fashion, but wouldn't Ziggler rush to help Maria if she got injured, or at least attend to her after the match? And why were medics out there to attend to Mark Henry, who was just knocked to the floor.

Again with match two, the style disappoints me because there's no real flow so it's hard to get into the match. The right man won again but once more it's hard to comment on the match itself.

I'm happy with a tag team battle royale on Smackdown, but it only seems like the announcement was made here to get RVD/MVP to appear on the show. Good tag team although they'd probably be better suited to singles competition.

The tag team match is weird. I didn't know what was going on, whether Santino is serious or not and whether Ranjin Singh is meant to be wrestling. Sorry but I didn't like it at all, should have been left off the card altogether.

The Chris Jericho/Edge match is definitely a more acceptable length for PPV, but once again it's short for a full match especially considering one whole paragraph was Edge in the Walls of Jericho. As for the match, it was entertaining while it lasted but I didn't like the finish as when the guy manages to keep his arm in the air, it usually means they break the hold.

The next match was just dirty tactics versus dirty tactics, I don't know who the crowd is meant to cheer for and although it fits Regal's character, I don't see Morrison being the one to hit a low blow. At least he won.

Now for the main event and it is impressive compared to the rest of the card, really makes the rest look like an episode of Raw in comparison. Best thing I've seen you write with the eliminations (which were in probably the perfect order btw) and just the action overall. Little confused by the ending of the match but I guess it sort of makes sense with what goes on afterwards? I don't know. I didn't know Cena had the Money In The Bank briefcase either so I guess it was shocking. It creates a good although predictable storyline that even I've used before, in Cena turning heel against Taker. I look forward to see how you write it.

Overall, the PPV got better as it went along. The main event was quite good and in comparison, segments like the Khali match just looked poor and out of place. Overall, I've said all I want about the matches so i think I got my point across there. Good ending to the show as well and I look forward to the fallout.

Re: WWE: A New Era Beckons

Current Champions:

WWE ChampionJohn Cena
World ChampionWade Barrett
Tag Team ChampionsRVD & MVP
Intercontinental ChampionDolph Ziggler
US Champion - John Morrison

Some info about the mysterious Mr. Money-in-the-Bank storyline:

The original idea for the MITB storyline climax pitched by my former BTB mate and agreed to by myself was to reveal Wade Barrett as the mysterious MITB and making him cash it on WWE Champion John Cena. Everything else would have been the same, the cash-in would have taken place at the Survivor Series elimination tag match because the whole idea of a mysterious MITB is to have that person in the same ring (or around it) alongwith the champion when he cashes in resulting in a greater shock than a person running down with the briefcase. Also, it would have been the same with John Cena vouching for Wade Barrett being in his team at SS so that when Barrett cashes in, there is the ‘ultimate betrayal’ thing to it; just like Taker interfered in Cena vs Swagger match and vouched for Cena till the end.

The hurdle to Wade Barrett’s inclusion in the RAW team would have been this way – He would have been traded to RAW from SD just before after Summerslam event and then the whole ‘spy from SD’ thing would have worked causing tensions between Cena and Barrett. Despite Cena being a RAW superstar, it became easy to do the same thing as he was on SD for two months due to his feud with Orton. Also, the whole idea of this spy thing was just to make the MITB cash-in more impactful. The whole month before Survivor Series, there were hints that Cena will turn heel. However, the way he turned heel was to be the unexpected thing.

That said, I had everything planned till Wrestlemania with Wade Barrett as the MITB, so currently I am a bit clueless about the aftermath to this event. I will take some time to decide the Road to Wrestlemania from here. The rapid push for Barrett as the World Champion at Summerslam was only because I changed the Mr. MITB and Barrett was destined to be the WWE/World Champion as far as I was concerned. Also, there was a segment in the latest Smackdown I suppose where the MITB briefcase comes on titantron and just after that, Barrett comes out to his music. That was just a tribute to him for losing out on being the Mr. MITB lol.

I hope you all enjoyed the storyline and the suspense. I know Cena being heel and the imminent Cena-Taker feud is the talk of the town as IWC forums are concerned and not something unexpected; so the only possible thing was the way of turning Cena to be totally unexpected and I hope that was there in this MITB storyline. Thanks for all those who read and reviewed Survivor Series, as I said I will be taking some time to decide things from here and definitely will continue until Wrestlemania.

Re: WWE: A New Era Beckons

The show begins with huge pyro all over the stage. First time, the RAW arena has the Wrestlemania sign on the top signalling the beginning of the Road to Wrestlemania. The crowd seems really popped up with a record number of them holding up banners related to Cena or Taker. The titantron showed the recap of what happened at Survivor Series after Team RAW won, John Cena was revealed as the mysterious MITB who had been haunting the World champions since months. Cena ambushed Taker and won the WWE Title within 11 seconds.

Suddenly the music hits and Mr. Mcmahon comes out with a mic. The crowd booed loudly and there were “Undertaker” chants all over. Vince comes to the ring and announces.

Mr. Mcmahon – “Ladies and Gentlemen, last night was a night for which every one of you were waiting for. You wanted to know who the mysterious Mr. Money in the Bank was. You wanted to know when he was going to cash in. Well, the cat is officially out of the bag. So without further ado, let’s welcome the NEW WWE CHAMPION – JOHN CENA”.

The crowd booed loud and the camera caught a kid wearing Cena T-shirt looking with wide eyes towards the stage as Vince announced.

*****MY TIME IS NOW****** (Cena comes out dressed in a suit with the WWE title on his shoulders. Cena comes out with an arrogant aura around him walking uncharacteristically slowly towards the ring, instead of his usual self running towards it)

Cena takes the mic from the ring guy. The audience begin sounding horns, and the whole arena begins booing. “Undertaker” chants soon begin to over-power the arena. The camera catches a Taker fan with the banner “CENA RIP 20-0” who points towards the Wrestlemania sign on the top of the arena.

Cena – “What transpired last night at Survivor Series.....”

The audience begin shouting and Cena stops as the noise is horrendous. Mcmahon looks angrily towards the audience and shouts “SHUT UP”. The crowd becomes relatively quieter in anticipation of Cena’s comments.

Cena – “Well, I was expecting something like this, but man, is this scary? (gesturing towards the crowd). I don’t see what the problem is really. What transpired last night at Survivor Series, The Undertaker totally deserved it (huge boos from the crowd), and all my fans deserved this (pointing towards the WWE Title)”

Cena goes down with the title and stops near a kid in a Cena T-shirt with a fake WWE title standing in the corner. Cena takes the real title and gives it to the kid.

Cena – “Since the past year, I have been getting screwed out of the WWE Title. At first, it was the I’m crappy yet I’m awesome Miz (in a mocking manner), then you had the ever invincible Legacy. And believe me, Cody Rhodes actually had the PWI think about introducing the “Sycophant of the Year” award”.

Cena – “The fact of the matter is, that finally THE CHAMP IS HERE!!!!!” (Cena takes the title back from the kid and fluffs the kid’s hair with his hands before stepping back into the ring)

Cena – “I’m not here to answer all you blind haters who don’t believe in me being your WWE Champion. I’m not here to answer to Austin who began his investigation while there was no mysterious MITB coz it was only after Summerslam that I approached Vince. I’m here for my Cenation gang who had to wait for over an year to see me as their WWE Champion (the camera pans over the fans in Cena shirts who cheer but then booes begin to overpower them). And there is one more thing I’m here for. One small announcement still needs to be made.”

Cena – “Now Deadman, we all know the dealio!! I would love to say like everyone else that you are gone for good, I will do everything in my capacity to stop you from getting your revenge, and unlike all of them, I CAN do it. But then you will come back with all your lightning and stuff, vowing to make me Rest in Peace. Well, that’s not going to happen this time. You know what, as much as I have no regrets, I still feel this all was a little bit unfair on you. So, here is the deal, Deadman. In the capacity of a WWE Champion, I give you the right to cash in anytime you want on my WWE Title (huge pop from the crowd). This time you are the Money in the Bank. Let me give you a little piece of advice Deadman, which you probably don’t pay much heed to given how you ignored Swagger and chose me for Team RAW at Survivor Series. This time – (repeating what Swagger had said once on RAW to Undertaker) “Think hard and make the correct choice, your one mistake can cost you the WWE Championship.”

Vince looks completely shocked and comes close to Cena and looks like demanding explanation. Cena leaves the ring and goes back with the WWE Title while Vince looks towards him still in shock.

Lawler – “Well JR, I have seen many arrogant people in my life, but this version of Cena tops them all by a long way. Cena gave The Undertaker the golden chance of cashing in the MITB, what is he thinking?”

JR – “What I am concerned about more is how Cena is manipulating his little fans and I fear if they still support Cena thinking he did it for them. We all wanted to see you as a WWE Champion Cena but not this way”

1. Daniel Bryan faces R-Truth:

R-Truth has been in a bad mood in his repeated failures at getting the US Title. Christian comes ringside to watch the match. Truth gets some offense and controls the match. Bryan comes back and kicks down Truth. Bryan looks towards Christian in between the match. Truth tries the What’s Up but Bryan counters it into the Lebell Lock for the win.

Daniel Bryan def. R-Truth via submission at 6:22

After the match, Christian comes into the ring and challenges Bryan for a match at New Year’s Revolution extending his hand towards him. The crowd gives a huge pop as Bryan becomes happy and shakes hands with Christian who suddenly kicks Bryan in the groin and goes for the Killswitch. Bryan comes out and puts Christian down trying the Lebell Lock but Christian begins to struggle rapidly and comes out and leaves the ring. Bryan smiles while Christian looks with disbelief before beginning to smile himself and gesturing that he is impressed.

2. Backstage, Bischoff, Swagger and Rhodes stand in his office. Tonight John Cena faces Cody Rhodes and Mr. Mcmahon has made this match. Rhodes begins to hint that it is implicit that Swagger will help him but Swagger informs that any interferer will be fired from WWE by Mr. Mcmahon. Rhodes begins to contemplate if joining forces with Bischoff and Swagger was his worst decision ever.

Josh Matthews interviews Big Show backstage and asks him if the giant within him is no longer there. Show becomes angry and tells him that he will soon get his answer.

3. Ezekiel Jackson faces Tyson Kidd:

Tyson Kidd has not been quite lucky since his recent debut. This time his opponent is the guy who is yet to be pinned and has only lost once in a controversial submission to The Undertaker. Big Zeke comes out, now all alone as the manager Dr.X is no longer associated with him. Zeke wins the squash match with the Torture Rack.

Ezekiel Jackson def. Tyson Kidd via submission at 2:11

Zeke continues to keep the hold even after Tyson Kidd keeps tapping. Meanwhile, Show comes running down the stage and as Zeke puts Kidd down and raises his hand and turns around, Show delivers the chokeslam. Zeke begins coming up using the ropes and Show hits the KO Punch. Zeke lies down while Show raises his hand in anger.

4. Drew Mac comes to Mr. Mcmahon and tells that he should be a part of the WWE Title No.1 contender’s match as unlike Del Rio and Sheamus who just got pinned last night, he actually won his match against Miz. Vince tells him he has a long way to go before getting this opportunity and Drew should leave as he is very busy to which Drew responds that if he does not win tonight, he will never ask for another World Title opportunity. Vince partly confused and partly in haste agrees to it and asks Drew to get the hell out of his office.

5. The Miz faces Gregory Helms:

Before the match begins, The Miz grabs the mic and begins to mock Stone Cold as how Austin suspected The Miz to be the MITB and Stunned him once. Miz hits the mic into the face of Helms before the referee could ring the bell. The referee waits for Helms to okay for the beginning of the match and then rings the bell. Miz completely dominates and wins via the Skull Crushing Finale.

The Miz def. Gregory Helms via pinfall at 3:19

6. Backstage, Morrison comes with his US Title smiling when suddenly William Regal appears. The crowd gives a pop. Regal tells him that last night Morrison was the badder man and he had a great match. Morrison acknowledges when suddenly Bischoff comes and announces that next week there will be a No.1 contender’s match for the US Title: Swagger vs Regal vs The Miz.

The camera cuts to Vince’s office as he looks worried over Cena’s decision when suddenly Paul Heyman appears and the audience pop was huge. Vince asks him to reconsider his decision to which Heyman replies that it is a consensus between all his board members and they will sue WWE for Vince’s illegal territorial expansions and breaking contract clauses. Heyman also tells him that Stone Cold barging into GWF show and pointing fingers at GWF champion Brock Lesnar being the MITB also didn’t help Vince’s case.

Vince in a laughing manner tells that alright you got the money you greedy son of a bitch and tries to shake Heyman’s hand. Heyman suddenly smiles and tells that he is not as foolish as Vince considers him. Heyman tells Vince that money is never the aim for him and he knows that he can exploit this opportunity in a much better way. Vince’s face suddenly turns pale and he hints that he has a new deal for Heyman. The camera turns back to the arena and the No.1 contender match is next.

7. No.1 contender match to WWE Title: (Sheamus vs CM Punk vs Del Rio vs Drew Mac)

The match goes on for long. In the last moments, Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick over Punk. Del Rio kicks Sheamus and locks the cross armbreaker but Sheamus just reaches the ropes after struggling for long. As Del Rio gets up, Drew hits the Future Shock DDT for the pinfall.

Drew McIntyre def. Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk & Sheamus at 10:13 to become the No.1 contender to WWE Title.

Punk was just getting in the ring to break the pinfall and puts his hands over his head expressing despair. McIntyre celebrates in the ring and gestures by moving his arms around his waist that he will be the next WWE Champion.

8. John Cena faces Cody Rhodes:

Cena again gets a lot of boos. Cena controls the match and continues the offense on Rhodes. Rhodes tries to get back in the match after a DDT. As he tries the Cross Rhodes, Cena puts him down. Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment over Rhodes. Cena does not take the cover and locks in the STF. Rhodes taps out and the referee asks Cena to leave but Cena keeps on the STF and smiles towards the audience.

John Cena def. Cody Rhodes via submission at 7:17

Suddenly, the lights begin to go off one by one. The audience begin to cheer loudly. Cena breaks the hold and gets up in the ring. The whole arena turns black as finally the light over the ring gets off. The crowd begin to cheer “Undertaker” chants as nothing can be seen.

Suddenly, the Wrestlemania sign begins to flicker making buzzing sounds. The audience give a horrendous pop as Cena turns back and looks towards the sign. The Wrestlemania sign turns ON while all the remaining lights are off as Cena continues to see. The camera catches a glimpse of Cena’s face as he smiles. The crowd keep continuing the “Undertaker” chants and the screen fades to black.

Re: WWE: A New Era Beckons

Wade Barrett comes out with the World Title to open the show. Barrett mocks The Undertaker saying that although his team won the Survivor Series match, Taker ended up losing his WWE Title unlike Barrett who is still the World Champion. Barrett continued to talk about Cena.

Barrett – “All around there is one name being discussed – John Cena. Cena cashed in, Cena this, Cena that. As much as I hated The Undertaker, I atleast respected him for being a credible WWE Champion. But John Cena, I don’t consider you a champion. So, it would not be wrong to say that the biggest name in the WWE currently, the only real champion in the whole of WWE is me – Wade Barrett. This World Title is the real deal, and I am the one who holds it.”

****MACMILITANT**** (Teddy Long comes out with a mic)

Teddy Long – “You know something, playa. Last night, no doubt you left the arena as the World Champion but you did no justice to your title. You did not eliminate even a single Team RAW member quite unlike you had promised to lead from the front as a leader. So, if you want to call yourself the only real champion in WWE, you need to defend that belt, playa. Tonight, in a No.1 contender’s match we will have Randy Orton facing off against Chris Jericho and Batista in a triple threat match.” (huge pop from the crowd)

Barrett looks angry and Long does his stupid dance.

1. Edge comes out dressed in jeans and tee. He takes the mic and announces his retirement from pro wrestling due to a bugging physical condition. Edge thanks all his fans and promises to cherish all the memories he had had in the ring. He mentions that he did some weird stuffs in his last reign as the World Champion and wishes luck to Wade Barrett mentioning that although he does not like him, he sees immense potential in the young man.

Edge – “What else? I guess I would have been remembered for providing the most shocking moment in the history of WWE, but damn you John Cena. Hell, I was the pioneer still (the audience give a huge pop). You had Cena, now you have Undertaker. But, I hope that one name that comes to everybody’s mind when you hear Money in the Bank is – the audience shouts “Edge”.

Edge finally does his formal greetings and bids farewell to the crowd.

2. Mark Henry comes out and cribs about losing out on his IC Title and that no one cares if Edge retires, he should be the champion. Suddenly the music hits and the audience is shocked. It’s Bobby Lashley making his comeback to WWE. Lashley wins the match via spear resulting in an unintended tribute towards Edge.

Bobby Lashley def. Mark Henry via pinfall at 5:19

3. Khali backstage meets Ryder and Santino and expresses his desire to have the match with Ryder tonight. Santino replies that they will be taking part in the Tag Team Battleroyal to which Ranjin responds “See you there”. Khali smiles and leaves and Santino looks worried.

4. Dolph Ziggler comes out with Maria holding the IC Title. He has a non-title match with JTG. Ziggler wins the squash match via Zig Zag.

Dolph Ziggler def. JTG via pinfall at 4:28

Ziggler then boasts about how he is undefeated in WWE till now and he has lady luck on his side.

5. Tag Team Invitational Battle Royal:

All the teams start coming out. RVD & MVP join the commentators ringside. The ring keeps getting filled with Haas/Benjamin, Carlito/Masters, London/Kendrick, Santino/Ryder, former champions Chavo/Rey. Suddenly, Kennedy and JBL come out. Then, Ted Dibiase comes out with Brett Dibiase. Khali comes out with Ranjin Singh. Kane comes out with Kofi Kingston. And, Yoshi Tatsu comes out with Viscera as the final team. Santino talks to Ryder plotting to eliminate their enemies first.

The match gets underway. Kennedy gets the first elimination by throwing out Kofi Kingston. Kane looks angry and gets out of the ring throwing Kofi into the barricades and continuing to hit him over the announcer’s table.

Ryder eliminates Tatsu and both he and Santino celebrate. As they turn around, Khali is standing behind them. Khali eliminates both Santino & Ryder at once. Ranjin goes towards Khali but Rey puts him down. Khali himself leaves the ring to beat Santino who flees away and Khali/Ranjin get eliminated inadvertently.

Eliminations: Kane/Kofi, Tatsu/Viscera, Santino/Ryder, Khali/Ranjin.

JBL & Kennedy get the upper had. Carlito tries to throw down Kennedy but due to the momentum he himself falls over the top rope. Masters is shocked and Benjamin hits the superkick on him to put him out also (while it was not needed). London/Kendrick double team to throw out Benjamin who is shocked to be eliminated. Ted & Brett begin to fight London & Kendrick and finally Ted Dibiase eliminates Paul London.

Eliminations: Carlito/Masters, Haas/Benjamin, London/Kendrick

JBL goes for the clothesline from hell over Rey but Rey counters him and throws him out. Kennedy & JBL are eliminated. Now it is down to Chavo/Rey and Ted/Brett. Brett Dibiase scores the win for his team when he eliminates Chavo Guerrero. Ted looks happy and hugs his brother raising his hand.

Winners: Ted Dibiase & Brett Dibiase.

RVD & MVP stand up in the commentator’s seat and begin clapping for their opponents.

6. The titantron shows a recap of last week's RAW where WWE Champion John Cena gave Undertaker a chance of a lifetime by providing him the MITB opportunity to cash in anytime he wants. As RAW ended, all the lights went off but the Wrestlemania sign at the top of the arena was ON with Undertaker sending a message to Cena.

Backstage, as Edge leaves, he meets Jericho who is going for the No.1 contender's match. Edge wishes him luck and Jericho says that it's high time the World Title came to someone who will do justice to it. Jericho also tells Edge that he will give him first row tickets as a gift when he defends the World Title at Wrestlemania as Edge will have a lot of free time to which Edge chuckles and leaves.

7. No.1 contender’s match: (Orton vs Batista vs Jericho)

Wade Barrett joins the commentators ringside. The match goes on for long with Batista being in control in the initial moments of the match. Batista and Orton team up and keep Jericho at bay throwing him out of the ring and colliding in the ring.

In the final moments, Orton misses an RKO and Batista puts him down with a spinebuster. Jericho clotheslines Batista outside the ring. The referee is tending to Orton as Jericho takes Barrett’s belt and hits it on Batista’s head to knock him out. Barrett is shocked and goes behind Jericho as he takes the title to hit on Orton. The referee sees this and asks Jericho to leave the title and Barrett snatches it from him. Jericho comes into the ring and picks up Orton who hits the RKO out of nowhere for the pinfall.

Randy Orton def. Chris Jericho & Batista via pinfall at 11:18 to become the No.1 contender to World Title.

Randy Orton looks towards Wade Barrett with cold eyes while Barrett gives his usual arrogant look while leaving with the title towards the ramp. The screen fades to black.

Matches confirmed for New Year’s Revolution:

WWE Champion John Cena vs Drew McIntyre

World Champion Wade Barrett vs Randy Orton

The Big Show vs Ezekiel Jackson

Unified Tag Team Champions RVD & MVP vs Ted Dibiase & Brett Dibiase
P.S. - The Edge retirement was something which I took from WWE and thus did not give a full farewell emotional segment again. I only used Edge because he fitted the role of the World Champion needed at the start of my BTB which paved the way for the mysterious MITB storyline. Now that his work is over, I believe its better he retired here too rather than having a match at Wrestlemania.
