Extreme Revival

The unthinkable has happened- Both World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling have had to shut down, and Ring Of Honor had to downsize on a massive scale due to bankruptcy issues. As a direct result of that, wrestling has fallen back into a territorial state, each promoter looking to make their product the next big thing in wrestling. One of these promoters was Paul Heyman. Heyman, former owner of ECW, had the cult following, he had the talent, all he needed was the financial backing. Lo and behold, three months ago, he got his wish when Multi-Millionaire Brandon M Brownson decided to invest in Paul's wrestling promotion, North-Eastern based Extreme Professional Wrestling. Now, EPW has a Television deal with HBO, becoming the first promotion in the new territorial wave to do so! Also, they have gotten their first Pay Per View deal for their next super show, "Still Barely Legal". Could EPW become the next big thing in pro wrestling? With Heyman's mind, EPW's roster and Brownson's money, anything is possible!

Re: Extreme Revival

Look good. Good short backstory and very good roster. Every division is great and you have a great tag team division. I will be looking out for future posts to read.

Re: Extreme Revival

Roster looks great but you shouldn't say what titles they are challenging for just list a roster and champs - just my opinion

I think your roster is one suited to the little man as there is no powerhouses apart from the tag division

Will be interesting to see your direction - will be reading

Re: Extreme Revival

It's been a long time, but Professional Wrestling is BACK ON HBO!!! With a little over two months remaining until Extreme Pro Wrestling's first pay per view, "Still Barely Legal", EPW on HBO is going to hit the air waves like a friggin' freight train!

In our debut Main Event, the team of Jeff Hardy, Christopher Daniels and Ted Dibiase Jr will be squaring off against Rob Van Dam, EPW World Champion Bryan Danielson, and a mystery tag team partner! Promo's have been airing on EPW's YouTube channel for months about this new comer, and a lot of rumors have been floating around the internet, but at long last, we will discover who this man is. One thing's for sure, he will definitely prove to the world that EPW is Pro Wrestling's hit franchise!

"The Long Island Iced Z" Zach Ryder has been on a role as of late, but is his winning streak in jeopardy? If you ask his opponent, Maven Huffman, he'll definitely tell you that it is! But, Ryder has been on a mighty winning streak these past few weeks, so he could pull off the ultimate upset! Woo woo woo... you know it!

Plus, EPW has arguably the best Women's division in wrestling today, and the ladies will be looking to prove it! Womens champion Victoria Varon (Formerly Victoria and Tara) will be defending her title against the lady of the Hart family legacy, Natalya Neidhart. Victoria has defended her title all around the northeast, so the odds are looking good... but then again, some would say she's never wrestled anyone on the same level as Nattie. Who will walk out of our HBO debut with the Womens title?

All this and more on our grand debut! Check your local listings, folks, because you will NOT want to miss the grand debut of EPW on HBO!

EPW ON HBO DEBUT EPISODE

"Start A War" by Static X plays as the intro video airs. We go live inside the Viking Hall (the old ECW Arena), where the music continues to play. Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring, microphone in hand. The crowd chants "Paul-E" for almost a minute before Paul raises his hand. The crowd quiets down.

Paul: For those of you who don't know, my name is Paul Heyman, former owner of ECW and current owner of EPW. Now, I didn't plan on starting off the show with a promo, but there's been a lot said on the internet as of late, and I've never been one to shy away from that kind of shit... by the way, this is TV-MA, so younger ears may want to watch something else. It has been roughly 10 years since ECW folded... for those of you who don't know, I had no wife, no girlfriend, no children, so ECW was my baby. 10 years ago, it folded, and I thought that was the end, but around 2005, Vince McMahon, who at the time was my boss, got the idea to bring ECW back for one night only, and we sold the fucking place out!

*Cheers*

Paul: Fast forward to 2006, and Vince brings back ECW. Now, leading up to One Night Stand 2006, me and Vince talked about all these great idea's for the new brand, and I was actually pretty excited. Then the big night came, and I found out that I was going to be a MINOR part of the creative process behind the WWE's ECW. I approached Vince about this, and he explained to me how there was, and I quote, "No place for YOUR ECW in today's market."

*Boo's. A small "Fuck Vince" chant breaks out*

Paul: Now, a lot of you may wonder why I am bringing this up. Let's fast forward again to just a month and a half ago. I shut down EPW until our TV debut so we could prepare, so I had a bit more free time then I usually do, so I decided to float around the dirt sheets, see what's going on in other promotions... when I happened to stumble across an interview with Vince. He was asked about my TV deal, and he said, and I'm going to paraphrase a little, here, that based off of ECW's failure when I was in charge, that I had lost my touch, and that EPW was going to be a failure... mind you, this is coming from the same man who found a way to sick a Multi-BILLION dollar corporation, who had the biggest names in professional wrestling in his talent roster, and STILL found a way to go bankrupt. So, for Vince McMahon and the world to hear- FUCK YOU, VINCE!

*The crowd cheers wildly. A more audible "Fuck Vince" chant breaks out. Paul raises his hand again and the crowd goes quiet again*

Paul: While I'm out here, I might as well also address Mr Eric Bischoff...

*THUNDEROUS Boo's*

Paul: Going back again, it was about mid to late 2009. I wasn't too involved with the wrestling world, I was doing the Heyman Hustle at the time. But I get a phone call one day from TNA and they wanted me to do a little booking for them to try and improve their product. I agreed to meet with Dixie Carter. Well, I once again go on the dirt sheets, and I see that they are offering Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan this position, as well, and offering them quite a hefty sum. Skip forward to the meeting, which went well up until this point, and she lays a number on me. I decide to bring up that she was offering me quite a bit less then Bischoff, and she has the audacity to tell me that he's a more sound investment, which is why he's been offered more money...

*More massive boo's*

Paul: Just to clarify, I'm not in wrestling for the money, but I took this as a massive strike to my ego, and I told her that, unless I am paid the same amount as him, I wasn't interested, and she went on a tangent about how Bischoff did more for the business then I did... RIGHT! Because stealing MY talent, MY idea's, that's doing more for the business, right? Again, go to the internet in the past month and a half, two months, and Bischoff is still bad mouthing my product, calling MY product a one-trick pony... right, because I shoved the nWo down your throats for close to five god damn years, right? With all of that said, I just want to say that the old ways are dead and gone! No more super-Cena, no more shit storylines, no more Eric Bischoff-Vince McMahon style wrestling, no! This is the future of Professional Wrestling, this is the beginning of a new era, THIS IS EXTREME PRO WRESTLING!!!

"Start a war" plays again, as the camera's cut to Joey Styles.

Joey: Welcome, everyone, to Extreme Pro Wrestling on HBO. I'm your broadcaster, Joey Styles, and we are live from the EPW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! We've got a great show for you tonight, ladies and gents. In tonight's main event, we will see the debut of our mystery man! Promo's have aired for months, but tonight, the mystery man will team up with Rob Van Dam, and our EPW World Champion, Bryan Danielson, as they face the team of Christopher Daniels, Ted Dibiase Jr and Jeff Hardy. Also, the women's title will be defended as Victoria Varon, our womens champion, faces Natalya Neidhart. We have to cut to a commercial right now, but when we return, "Long Island Iced Z" Zach Ryder will face Maven Huffman. Don't go anywhere, folks!

*COMMERCIAL*

When we return, Maven Huffman is already in the ring. "Radio" by Watt White plays as Ryder comes out to the ring, dressed in his old school tights (The one's with only one leg). He is being booed pretty hard, and met with a "Get the fuck out" chant.

Joey: Ladies and gentleman, as much as I'd hate to say it, this man has been on one hell of a role! Zach hasn't lost a match in nearly three months, and he's looking to make Maven another victim tonight!

He gets in the ring, and ref Brian Hebner calls for the bell, starting the bout.

MATCH 1: Maven Huffman VS Zach Ryder

The two tie up in the center of the ring. Zach thumbs Maven in the eye and clothesline's him to the ground, getting an early, if unfair, advantage. Ryder dominates Maven throughout most of the match. However, when Ryder attempts to hit the Zach Attack, Maven finds a way to counter the move, sending Ryder to the ground. He gets up, but Maven meets him with a dropkick to the chops. Ryder backs into the corner, and Maven hits him with a clothes line. Zach stumbles toward the middle of the ring, as Huffman climbs to the top rope. He waits for "Long Island Iced Z" to turn around, and when he does.... BAM! Missile Dropkick! Maven goes for the cover and... he gets the win!

WINNER: Maven Huffman by Pinfall at 7:21

Joey: Can you say upset? Maven Huffman just ended Ryder's winning streak out of nowhere! Something truly has to be...

At this moment, Ryder clubs Maven in the back of the head with a forearm. Maven slowly gets up, and Ryder stalks him. When Huffman is on his feet, Ryder hits him with the Zach Attack. Maven hits the ground hard, clutching his neck. Ryder makes his way to the back.

Joey: What a sore loser! Maven won that match fair and square, and Ryder with that underhanded assault.... uh-oh... it looks like Maven might be badly hurt!

Maven is in the center of the ring clutching his neck. The referee is checking on him as we go to a break.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

Camera fades in to the interview area, where Christy Hemme is standing with EPW Champion Bryan Danielson, and his partner for tonight's main event, Rob Van Dam.

Christy: Rob, Bryan, tonight you square off against Christopher Daniels, Jeff Hardy and Ted Dibiase Jr, and you don't even know who your partner is going to be. How are you two feeling right now?

Bryan: Well, Christy, it's a little worrying who the partner may or may not be... I mean, me and Rob have made plenty of enemies in our past... but personally, I'm not that concerned about it. I know that, even if our partner isn't the most reliable person in the world, me and Rob have each other's backs.

Rob: I have to agree with Bryan, dude. Don't get me wrong, our opponents are pretty tough cats, but it's nothing that "Mr Monday Night" and "The American Dragon" can't handle, man! Now, I'd hate to cut this short, but we're waiting on a pizza guy to come...

Christy: Pizza man? Shouldn't you be preparing for your match?

Rob: *Smiles* Christy, you forget who your talking to. our opponents are no match for Bryan Danielson and Rob... Van... Dam!

Rob and Bryan walk off camera, and we cut to a clip of Maven being helped out of the ring.

Joey: Well, clearly, RVD and Danielson aren't worried, but I'm definitely worried about the state of Maven Huffman after that sick assault. In case you missed it, Maven was just attacked after his match by his opponent, Zach Ryder... we'll definitely be following this story, but right now, it's time for the women's title match!

"New Foundation" blares over the sound system as Natalya Neidhart makes her way out to the ring to moderate cheers. The music dies down, and "All the things she said" by tAtU plays. The women's champion, Victoria Varon, comes out with the title around her waste, being greeted by "Psycho Bitch" chants and boo's. Referee So Cal Val takes the title and starts the match.

WOMENS TITLE MATCH: Victoria Varon (C) VS Natalya Neidhart

The match kicks off with a greco-roman hold, which Victoria gets the better of, pushing Natalya to the corner. She connects with a few punches, until Natalya grabs her, puts her in the corner, and chops the hell out of Varon. Natalya steps back, letting Victoria walk out of the corner, and then nails the champ with a discus clothes line. Natalya is in control for a bit before the champ hits her with a superkick. The action is surprisingly back-and-fourth for a bit until Victoria hits the Spider's Web (Fireman's carry into a swinging sidewalk slam). The champ brings Neidhart to her feet and nails the Widows Peak to wrap the match up.

Winner and STILL champion: Victoria Varon VIA pinfall after 9:14

Joey: There you have it, Varon retains the title again! The question has to be asked- who, if anyone, can stop Victoria Varon?

A black limo pulls up behind the arena. Text reading "Next up- THE MAIN EVENT" pops on the screen as we cut to the break.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

When we return, Ted Dibiase Jr and Christopher Daniels are already in the ring, being booed to high hell. "Another Me" plays over the sound system, and Jeff Hardy comes out, (Looking like he does now) met by HUGE boo's.

Joey: And there you see possibly the most hated man in EPW, Jeff Hardy, and for good reason! This man's success is built entirely off of his fanbase, and he threw all that away for what? His ego? Jeff Hardy is a selfish prick!

The music fades, and "Walk" by Pantera plays as RVD comes out to big cheers! Van Dam comes out, but stops just short of the ring. The music fades, and "The Final Countdown" by Europe begins to play. The fans sing along to the tune, and being to chant "your gonna get your fucking head kicked in" as the champion, Bryan Danielson, makes his way to the ring. The two hop up on the apron, as they wait for their partner. Bryan's music fades, and the arena goes quiet...

When "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple starts to play, and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas makes his way to the ring. The EPW arena goes ape shit, and a mass "Welcome Back" chant begins. Referee Pee Wee Moore calls for the bell, and we start off with Van Dam and Dibiase Jr.

MAIN EVENT: Bryan Danielson, Rob Van Dam and Shane Douglas VS Jeff Hardy, Christopher Daniels and Ted Dibiase Jr

The two tie up in the center of the ring, but Dibiase is quickly met by a spinning heel kick. Van Dam dominates for a bit before tagging in Danielson. Danielson works on Dibiase's arm for a bit, but Dibiase comes out of nowhere with a drop toe hold, followed up with a fist drop to the back of the head. He tags in Daniels. The champ gets up, but The Fallen Angel meets him with an enzugiri, which he followed with a springboard splash, getting him a two count. The next maybe 5-7 minutes are various members of team Hardy/Daniels/Dibiase pounding the champion, until Hardy is in the ring with Danielson. Jeff goes up to the top for the twist of fate, but Danielson bumps into the ropes, sending Hardy crashing to the mat. Both men slowly crawl to their corners. Hardy successfully tags in Dibiase, and... DANIELSON MAKES THE TAG! It is now Dibiase Jr and The Franchise. Shane unloads with punch's, dropkicks and clotheslines for the opposing team, before he lifts Dibiase up and... YES! He hit the Pittsburgh Plunge! 1-2-3, he gets the win!

WINNERS: Bryan Danielson, Rob Van Dam and Shane Douglas

Joey: Well, there you have it! The returning Shane Douglas gets the win for his team!

The three winners are in the center of the ring when, out of nowhere, Hardy jumps Danielson. Van Dam attempts to pull Hardy off, but is met by a low blow from.... SHANE DOUGLAS! Douglas lifts RVD up and hits him with the Franchiser before leaving the ring to a thick mass of boo's. Hardy hits the champ with the Twist of Fate, then grabs the title. He looks at it for a moment before throwing it down to Danielson and leaving the ring. The final shot of the night is RVD and Danielson laying on the ground, beaten.

END

Quick Results

Maven Huffman d. Zach Ryder
Victoria Varon d. Natalya Neidhart to retain the Womens Title
Shane Douglas, Rob Van Dam & Bryan Danielson d. Ted Dibiase Jr, Jeff Hardy & Christopher Daniels

Re: Extreme Revival

Good first show.

I liked the first promo and it had to start with Heyman.

Opening match was good. Looks like Maven and Ryder will be having a feud.

Victoria is a good champ and she looks like she is going to be dominant.

I liked the main event and the return of Shane Douglas ! Good choice to turn him heel straight afterwards as he is better as a heel..

Good first show and looking forward to next show.

Re: Extreme Revival

This week, on Extreme Pro Wrestling...

Last week, we saw the return of Shane Douglas, and we watched as he turned on Rob Van Dam and Bryan Danielson after winning the match for his team. The question on everyone's mind is, however, why did he do it? We will hear from The Franchise himself as he explains his actions. Of course, that's only the beginning of his night, because in the Main Event, he will face off against "Captain Charisma" himself, Christian. With Christian in the ring, and both Rob Van Dam and Bryan Danielson looking for revenge, has The Franchise made the biggest mistake of his career?

Also, two men will have a chance to wrestle for the International Championship. Hayabusa and Kaz Hayashi have been wowing the American audiences with their blend of high-risk-high-reward Puroresu for years, and for one of these men, it will finally pay off, because it will be Hayabusa VS Hayashi, winner faces Carlito Colon next week for the International Title.

Plus, after a savage assault at the hands of Zach Ryder last week, we will find out what type of condition Maven Huffman is in.

All this and more this week! EPW ON HBO- DON'T YOU DARE MISS IT!!!

Re: Extreme Revival

EPW ON HBO

"Start A War" by Static X plays as the intro video airs. We are live in Stamford, Connecticut, and the audience is cheering loudly! These cheers quickly shift to boo's, though, as "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple begins to play, and Shane Douglas makes his way out to the ring

Joey: Welcome to EPW on HBO. My name is Joey Styles, and it's no wonder that this crowd is booing The Franchise after last week's assault! Let's take you back to last week, ladies and gentleman, and be warned- what you are about to see is shocking!

A playback of last week's attack airs. We come back and Douglas is in the center of the ring, microphone in hand.

Shane: You know, I've been on the internet this week, and I swear to god, it's like I'm listening to a broken record, because over and over and over and over again, I'm hearing "Why, Shane, why?". Well, I'll explain why, and I'll be sure to talk nice and slow so you can comprehend what I'm saying. Ten years ago, the company that made me famous went under, and the Franchise fell into obscurity. I went to other promotions, I put asses in seats, people came to see me perform live, but what did you give me back? What did you, the fans, give me back for busting my fucking ass off? Not a damn thing! People on the internet began to flame me, began to give me shit, you called me "a has been"! Me! The guy who single handedly built ECW! It wasn't Paul, it wasn't Sabu, it wasn't Terry, it was SHANE DOUGLAS who made ECW, and you have the audacity to call ME a HAS-BEEN! But I tried to play it cool, I tried doing it your way, and I went to Florida to manage one of the most talented tag teams that professional wrestling has ever seen! I did the autograph signings, I did the appearances, I did all that shit for a good, LONG time... and then I see what you ungrateful little bastards had to say! "The Naturals suck, Shane Douglas is a fat ass, why is Shane Douglas still in the ring", and that cost me my job! Do you know how hard it was to explain to my sons that I couldn't support them the way I used to be able to because you shit all over my good name? Do you know how hard it was to have to hang up my boots and take a job at a goddamn Walmart? Meanwhile, I look at a guy like Rob Van Dam, a guy who, compared to The Franchise, hasn't done shit in this business, and he gets all this love, all this affection, the praise, the money, the title runs, and even though he left this business for three years, he still gets all your love, your praise, your support, while a guy like me had to give it up, how the fuck do you think that makes me feel? Then..... then, a few weeks ago, I get a call from Paulie, asking me to come back. Well, I wasn't about to say no, but I knew that things were going to be very.... VERY different! See, for too long, I've been trying to kiss your asses, and where did that get me? That got me JACK.... SHIT! Last week, I made a statement. I took out years and years of aggression on a guy who doesn't deserve half the shit he's gotten in his life, and I made sure to show each and every one of you little pricks that the Franchise is back, he's pissed, and he's done with your shit! And another thing....

"Walk" by Pantera plays, and the crowd pops big. Rob Van Dam runs out in full attire, and the two start to brawl immediately. They spill to the outside of the ring before security runs out and breaks the two up, struggling to hold them back.

Joey: Security is struggling to keep these two off of each other, but I say let em' go at it! Douglas deserves to have some sense beat into his head!

We go backstage, where Christy Hemme is standing.

Christy: Ladies and gentlemen, last week, we saw Zach Ryder brutally assault Maven Huffma.....

Zach Ryder walks up to Christy, takes the mic, and shoo's her away. Christy scoffs before she walks off-screen.

Ryder: Last week... Maven got what he had coming to him. Don't get me wrong, bro, I wasn't trying to hurt him, but you don't mess with the long island iced Z, baby! I mean, I'm a youtube celebrity, and the most talented... and good looking... guy on this whole roster! If your wondering, I screwed up Maven's neck pretty bad, so he's gonna be gone for a few weeks, minimum, but he got what he had coming! Let that be a lesson, you don't messed with Zach...... Ryder. WOO WOO WOO (He takes off his shades)..... you know it, BRO!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

When we come back, "Cobra Dance" is playing, and Sonjay Dutt is standing in the ring, receiving scattered cheers. The music fades, and "Radio" by Watt White plays, as Zach Ryder comes out to good-sized boo's. He takes off his shirt and sizes up Sonjay.

MATCH 1: Sonjay Dutt VS Zach Ryder

The two tie up in the center of the ring, and Sonjay nails Ryder with a head scissors takedown, following it up with a wrist lock. Sonjay takes control for a bit. He goes to Irish whip Ryder, but Ryder reacts with a running neckbreaker. The two get to a standing position, and Ryder nails Dutt with a lifting DDT. Ryder gets the advantage for a few minutes, until Sonjay hits Zach with a DDT out of nowhere. Sonjay goes to the top rope and leaps for a 450 splash, but Ryder lifts his knees just in time. Dutt holds his ribs and the two slowly get back up. Sonjay goes for a punch, but Ryder boots him in the gut and nails the Zach Attack, getting the pin.

WINNER: Zach Ryder by Pinfall at 5:59

Joey: Ryder gets the win this time... at least it was a clean victory. Folks, we're now gong to take you to a video package of our Tag Team Division.

A video plays highlighting every single team in the division, but focusing largely on the Motor City Machine Guns, Haas & Benjamin, the Briscoe Brothers, and the tag team champions, Mexico's Most Wanted. We fade out of that, and into the backstage area, where International champion Carlito is sitting in front of a TV.

Joey: Up next, Hayabusa will take on Kaz Hayashi, and the winner will face that man next week for the IN title!

Commercial Break

Fade into Paul Heyman's office, where Paul is standing in front of his desk.

Paul: Ladies and gentlemen, next week, you will see the winner of this next match face Carlito Colon for Extreme Pro Wrestling's International title, but that's not all. As you all saw earlier tonight, Rob Van Dam and Shane Douglas are just itching to get their hands on one another.... and, as you saw last week, Bryan Danielson has some unfinished business with Jeff Hardy. So next week, in our main event, I'm gonna let them go at each other! That's right, next week, Rob Van Dam will team with the EPW World Champion, Bryan Danielson, and they will face Shane Douglas and Jeff Hardy! Plus, it's about time the world meets what many call the best tag team division in the world today, so next week, Paul London and Brian Kendrick will face off against our tag team champions, Mexico's Most Wanted! That said, enjoy the rest of the show!

Camera cuts to the ring, where Kaz Hayashi is standing in the ring to a mixed response. "One Big Rush" by Joe Satriani begins to play, Hayabusa comes out and the crowd erupts in cheers.

Joey: Folks, if you have never seen the Japanese style of wrestling, Puroresu, you are in for a real treat! Kaz Hayashi is often called one of the most under-rated cruiser-weights in the world, and Hayabusa is a veteran of the ultra-violent death-match style of FMW, a company so extreme, that even I cringe when I watch their matches. And both of these men are clashing for a shot at the International Title, which is currently held by Carlito Colon, son of Puerto Rican legend Carlos Colon, and a tremendous wrestler in his own right. This is our International division, taking the best pro wrestlers from around the globe and introducing them to an American fan base!

MATCH 2: Kaz Hayashi VS Hayabusa- International Title Number 1 Contenders Match

The two Japanese Superstars start off by tying it up in the center of the ring. Kaz hits a quick arm drag, the two stand, Hayabusa hits an arm drag, they stand, Kaz hits another arm drag, they stand again, Hayabusa rolls Kaz up in a small package. One count, but Kaz rolls Hayabusa over for a one count. Hayabusa kicks out at one, the two stand and face off, getting applause from the crowd. The two tie up again, and they go back and fourth for a bit before Kaz nails Hayabusa with an enzugiri, stunning The Falcon for a moment. Kaz gets up and hits him with a dropkick, making Hayabusa stumble backward. Kaz leaps up and nails Hayabusa with a huricanrana, sending him outside of the ring. Hayashi gets up and dives over the top as Hayabusa stands back up, hitting him with a springboard cross body. Kaz lifts Hayabusa up, and throws him back in the ring, Hayashi following. Hayashi has the advantage, keeping Hayabusa on the ground as he locks on various rest holds. After awhile, Hayabusa stands. Kaz goes to the apron, leaps and... Springboard bulldog by Hayashi! He goes for a pin, but... two count!

Kaz holds the advantage for a bit longer. Kaz goes to lift Hayabusa for the WA4 (Over the shoulder belly-to-back piledriver), but Hayabusa slides off his shoulder and rolls Kaz up for a schoolboy, getting a two count. Kaz is a bit puzzled, giving Hayashi the opening for the Dragon Suplex. He bridges it into a pin, and gets another two count. While Kaz is still on the ground, The Falcon hits a springboard moonsault, getting a third two count. Hayabusa is in control now, and he finishes Kaz off with a Firebird (450) Splash after a few minutes.

WINNER: Hayabusa by Pinfall at 9:38. HAYABUSA IS THE NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE INTERNATIONAL TITLE

Hayabusa celebrates in the ring. Camera cuts to Carlito, still watching the television, as Hayabusa celebrates. He nods before getting up and leaving the locker room. Camera cuts again to Douglas walking around backstage. A graphic flashes saying the main event is NEXT!

Commercial Break

When we return, "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple is playing as Shane Douglas walks to the ring for the second time tonight, being showered by boo's. He gets in the ring and leers at the crowd as the lights go dark, and "Close Your Eyes" by Waterproof Blonde begins to play. Christian comes out to a large ovation, and he high-fives a few ringside peeps.

MAIN EVENT: Shane Douglas VS Christian

The match begins with the two talking smack to one another in the center of the ring. Douglas shoves Christian, Christian shoves back, and Douglas goes to bitch-slap Christian, but he blocks it and hits Shane with a flurry of rights before hitting The Franchise in the chops with a drop kick. Christian takes the early advantage, wearing Douglas down with head locks and take downs if he got to his feet, until The Franchise nailed Christian with a big right to the head, dazing Captain Charisma long enough for Douglas to hit him with a neck breaker. Douglas uses his size to his advantage, keeping Christian grounded for a while. Eventually, Douglas tries for the Franchiser, but Christian retaliates by stomping on Shane's toe, thumbing him in the eye, hitting the ropes then planting the Franchise with a tornado DDT. He goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. The two stand, and Shane whips Christian into the corner. Douglas runs after him, but Christian catches him with an elbow, then hits him with a pendulum kick. Douglas backs away, and Christian goes to the top rope, hitting Douglas with the Flash point (Diving European Uppercut). Another two count. Christian has the advantage for a few minutes, and tries to hit the Unprettier, but Douglas throws him to the ropes, hitting the ropes himself, and hits Captain Charisma with a running crossbody. He goes for the pin... only a two count! The two stumble to their feet, and trade a few blows, when... FRANCHISER! DOUGLAS HITS THE FRANCHISER!!! Douglas goes for the pin... and he gets it!

WINNER: Shane Douglas by pinfall after 9:57

Shane gets to his feet and raises his arm in victory. What he doesn't see is Rob Van Dam running in through the crowd with a steel chair in hand. The Franchise turns around to see what the fans are cheering for, and he is greeted with a chair to the dome! Van Dam drags him into the corner and puts the steel chair down in front of him. Van Dam climbs to the top, looking for the Van-Daminator, but Douglas throws the chair off of him and rolls out of the ring, running half way up the ramp before turning around and shaking his finger at Van Dam, saying "Not until next week, Robbie!" The final shot of the night is Rob Van Dam staring the Franchise down, perched on the top rope.

Re: Extreme Revival

This week on EPW ON HBO

Rob Van Dam and Shane Douglas share a lot of things in common- They are both staples of the old ECW, they are known as innovators, they are both called extreme... and they hate each other's guts! But this week, RVD and The Franchise will finally lock horns, when RVD and Bryan Danielson face off against Shane Douglas and Jeff Hardy!

Plus, last week Hayabusa beat Kaz Hayashi to become the number one contender to the International title. Hayabusa has won titles all around Japan, but will he be able to beat the reigning International Champion, Carlito Colon, to win his first American title?

Also, the world will at last meet the EPW tag team division! Paul London and Brian Kendrick have wowed audiences around the world with their high-flying style. Mexico's Most Wanted has dominated the tag division since they first came to EPW, winning the tag team titles within their first year, and holding the belts ever since. This week, they will lock up in a non-title match. If MMW wins this match, they will further solidify themselves as the top dogs in EPW, but if London & Kendrick win, then they will, without a doubt, be major contenders for the belts!
