EPW ON HBO

"Start a War" by Static X plays. This week we are live from Boston, Massachusetts. The crowd is going wild as the camera cuts to Joey Stiles.

Joey: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another edition of EPW on HBO, where we are just three weeks away from our first Pay Per View, Still Barely Legal! We've got a stacked card for you tonight, and a huge main event! Two of the best competitors in the world, Christopher Daniels and Christian, will go one on one. Also, we will see the long awaited contract signing for the Rob Van Dam-Shane Douglas Hardcore match at Still Barely Legal, and you have to wonder if they will be able to keep their hands off one another until the pay per view! Paul Heyman told me earlier that security will be present for the signing, but will that be enough to keep the two from brawling? We'll find out later on tonight, but first, we take you ringside for our first match of the night!

Generic rock music plays as Shocker makes his way to the ring to a slight boo, but generally no response. The rock fades, and "Tattoo" by Big Mother Thruster plays. Maven Huffman makes his grand return to a standing ovation.

Joey: A big reaction for Maven, and rightfully so. Folks, this is Maven's first match back since being assaulted by Zach Ryder several weeks back! The question on everybody's mind, though, is what kind of condition is Maven in? Will he be at 100 percent in time for his match at Still Barely Legal? We just might get our answer tonight!

MATCH 1: Shocker VS Maven Huffman

The match starts with the two tying up in the center of the ring. Shocker hits an arm drag and tries to go for an early Fujiwara arm bar, but Maven rolls out of it. The two go back to a standing position and Shocker hits a huricanrana. Shocker gets up and goes off the ropes, but Maven gets up and hits Shocker with an arm drag. Shocker gets up and Maven hits a few drop kicks before hitting a DDT. Maven takes the advantage, wearing Shocker down. Eventually, Maven backs Shocker into a corner, and props him up on the top rope. Maven climbs up to the middle rope, puts Shocker in a front head lock, he climbs to the top... WOW! HUFFMAN HITS A HALO DDT! 1... 2.... 3!

WINNER: Maven Huffman beats Shocker by pinfall after 4:16

Maven jumps to the middle rope and raises his arms in victory, being showered with cheers and a "Welcome Back" chant.

Joey: Well, there you have it! Maven gets the win on his first match back, and it doesn't look like he's missed a minute of time in the ring! If I were Zach Ryder, I'd be a little bit worried!

COMMERCIAL

When we return, the camera is on a dark and misty dock, with Jeff Hardy staring into the water. Jeff lifts his head and gazes into the camera.

Jeff: A lot of people have been looking at me in disgust the past few weeks. They've said that the only reason why I'm getting victories is because I'm cheating. What I say to those people is that... I'm sorry for you. The mindless sheep who wonder through life abiding by rules just because they are so, the sheeple who have never taken a risk, who sit there in their mediocre lives, to afraid to go out of their way to make something of themselves because they don't want to step on anybody's toes... but not me! I can't be afraid to step on anybodies toes, and I could give a fuck less about the rules. I am the Antichrist of Professional Wrestling for a reason! I could care less about the fans... the rules... the safety of my fellow competitors... the safety of myself, even... because I am better then everybody else. I am an immortal being in that ring. I proved that last week when I obliterated John Morrison, and in three weeks, I'll prove it again when I take the EPW title from Bryan Danielson. The truth will set you free, and the truth is that I will be your next... E... P.... W... Champion!

The camera fades out and fades into the ringside area, where "Angel on my Shoulder" is playing as Velvet Sky makes her way to the ring to scattered boo's. She is being very flirtatious on her way out, as always. Her music fades, and "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes plays as Mickie James skips her way to the ring, to pretty big cheers.

MATCH 2: Velvet Sky VS Mickie James

The two tie up in the center of the ring. Velvet pushes Mickie into the ropes, and Mickie springs back and hits Sky with a tornado DDT. She goes for a pin, but it's only a once count. The two get up and Mickie hits Velvet with a huricanrana. Another pin, another one count. Velvet looks shook up after two big moves as the two get up. Mickie looks for a quick finish and goes for the Mick Kick... but Velvet ducks it and responds with a neckbreaker. Velvet has the control here, and she starts to work on Mickie's neck. She eventually locks Mickie into an Octopus stretch, but Mickie grabs the ropes, forcing her to let go. Velvet argues with the ref just long enough for Mickie to get her bearings back. Velvet turns around and runs forward for a clothesline, but Mickie cartwheels out of the way and hits Sky with a monkey flip. The two get up, Velvet whips Mickie into the ropes... but Mickie responds with a Thez press, following it up with a ground-and-pound. The ref forces James off, Velvet springs up, goes for a punch, but Mickie gets out of the way... AND SHE HITS THE MICK KICK!!! 1... 2... 3!

WINNER: Mickie James by Pinfall after 7:49

After having her hand raised in victory, Mickie skips around the ringside area, high-fiving the crowd. We cut to the backstage area, where Christy Hemme is standing with Christopher Daniels.

Christy: Chris, tonight you...

Daniels: Christy, please.... it's Christopher.

Christy: Okay... CHRISTOPHER, tonight you go one on one with Christian, how do you feel going into this match.

Daniels: Christy, you truly underestimate my abilities in the ring if your asking me that question. Now, there's no doubt that I've been compared to Christian a few times, since both of us employ a high-risk style, but what they don't realize is that Christian is the past. He is obsolete at best, and belongs in the junk yard of wrestling's past! Christian is no match for the Fallen Angel, and I will take pleasure in finally sending him to the graveyards. If you'll excuse me, though, I have to make my way to the ring.

Daniels lowers his head and walks away as we cut to a break.

COMMERCIAL

When we return, the screen is static as the HBO logo flashes on the screen, with the letters MJC under it. The logo fades and the word SOON fades in. The scene vanishes, and we go to ringside, where "Disposable Teens" by Marilyn Manson is blasting. Christopher Daniels is making his way to the ring, his head lowered, to a mass of boo's. The music fades, and "Close Your Eyes" by Waterproof Blonde plays. Christian makes his way out, and the peeps are cheering like crazy.

MAIN EVENT: Christopher Daniels VS Christian

The two face off in the center of the ring, and a lot of back and fourth action dominates the opening minutes of the match, until Daniels tilts the match in his favor with an enzugiri-sidewalk slam combination. Daniels takes advantage, focusing on Christian's right arm. Eventually, Daniels tries to lock in a cross face, but Christian wiggles his way out of it, and the two go to a standing position. Another few moments of back-and-fourth, with Christian showing that his arm is hurting, before Daniels gets the advantage again with a running neck breaker. Daniels backs Christian into a corner and hits him with a huge running high knee. Daniels then goes for a springboard moonsault... but Christian lifts up his knee. Daniels is clutching his chest as he leans against the middle rope. Christian jumps up and slingshot's out of the ring, greeting Daniels with a big slap to the face. He rolls back in toward the corner, and Daniels runs at him. Christian slides in between the ropes and hits him with a pendulum kick. Daniels stumbles back, and Christian hits him with an inverted tornado DDT. Christian goes for a pin, but only gets a two count for his troubles. Christian is in the lead for a good little while, until Daniels shocks him by hitting the Angel's Wings out of freaking nowhere! Daniels gets up and runs toward the ropes... OH MY GOD!!! DANIELS HITS THE BEST MOONSAULT EVER PERFECTLY! 1... 2... 3! It's over!

WINNER: Christopher Daniels by Pinfall after 16:28

Daniels is exhausted at the end of this one, but raises his arms in victory, as the fans boo him. Camera's cut backstage, and Paul Heyman is seen coming to the ring with a half-dozen security officials surrounding him.

Joey: Well, this is what we've been waiting for, the contract signing is next!

When we come back, "Start A War" by Static X is playing as Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring, security guards in tow, to a "Paul-E" chant. Paul shakes hands with a few fans before grabbing a mic and heading into the ring, where a table is set up with the contract on it.

Paul: Alright, let's not waste any time here, it's time for the contract signing. I'd first like to ask Rob Van Dam to come to the ring.

"Walk" by Pantera plays as Rob makes his way to the ring in street clothes to a huge ovation! He steps in the ring, nods at Paul and grabs a mic.

Rob: Well... I've waited all week for this... to make this match official! Before I sign this, though, I'd just like to say Shane, you should have never turned on me! In three weeks, when we meet in the middle of the ring, no rules, your going to be stepping in my world, dude! I'm going to be able to use Tables, Ladders, Chairs, Canes and whatever else I can get my hands on to absolutely destroy you! Quite frankly, you fucked up! This show might as well be happening on 4:20, because I am going to fucking smoke your ass!

Rob grabs the contract and signs. Before Paul can announce Douglas, though, "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple plays and Douglas makes his way to the ring, mic in hand, to huge boo's. He starts talking as he climbs into the ring.

Shane: "You fucked up, your in my world, I'm going to smoke your ass". Rob, I know you smoke a lot of grass, but do you forget who you're talking to? Your talking to an ECW original! I was swinging chairs and putting people through tables before you hit puberty, you little shit! You think that I'm stepping in YOUR world? That I'm somehow at a disadvantage because there's no rules? I've been in matches so brutal, it would make even Joey Styles wince, it would make Sabu back down, and it would make Terry Funk shit his pants! Rob, I am at no disadvantage in three weeks, but you aren't either! We're going to be on equal grounds! We're going to both be at home at Still Barely Legal, a home with no count outs, no disqualifications, no rules, falls count ever... however, I've been calling this home a lot longer then you have, and at the end of the day, I am a BETTER WRESTLER then you could EVER HOPE TO BE! So, as far as I see it, your the one whose going to get smoked at the Pay Per View, and now.... it's.... official!

Shane grabs the contract and signs it. The two stare each other down, with security at either side of them should they start to brawl. The final shot of the night is Paul holding the contract while the two stare one another down.

END BROADCAST

Nice short match in Maven's return, good way to keep him safe from injury and keep him strong. One question though, once again I'm at a disadvantage here, but who the hell is Shocker?

Great match with Mickie and Velvet, Mickie starting strong was great, Velvet coming back with a neck breaker and octopus stretch she does both well and giving Mickie the win, glad you did that.

Loved the Jeff Hardy segment.

Good back strong match from both Christian and CD, I would have been happy with a victory from either or, to be honest with you.

Great ending segment with RVD and Shane, it's a shame that match is still a few weeks out. Keep building it up, you're doing great.

Haha, Shocker was a Mexican star who was in TNA for a very hot minute before he got in some trouble at the border. Not a bad worker (Well, what I saw of him in TNA way back in the day, at least), worth checking him out on Youtube. Glad to hear that your digging the show as much as you are!

I find that when you are relatively new to BTB it's much easier to get in on one from the beginning so you know what's taken place from the start.

I know there are some great threads out there, by some 'legends' on these forums, and I've read a show or three from them but I don't feel that I have any right, with my limited experience, to comment on their shows. So, expect me to keep giving you some reviews, and go ahead and take them worth a grain of salt!

I appreciate your reviews, bud! It's nice having someone pop in and let me know what I'm doing right and what I'm fucking up on! And I'd respond to your reviews a lot more if I could, but most of the time... well, the responses would have spoilers, and... well, that doesn't make this any fun to read lol!

This week, on EPW ON HBO:

We are just two weeks away from EPW's long awaited first pay per view, Still Barely Legal, and one of the most anticipated matches of the night has got to be Rob Van Dam taking on Shane Douglas in a Hardcore match! Ever since EPW first hit the air waves, these two extreme titans have been dying to get their hands over, but before they get that chance, they first must wrestle in "Pick your Poison" matches, where their opponents at SBL have hand picked who they will face! This week, we will have the first of those in our main event! We know that Rob Van Dam will be in the match, but we have no idea who "The Franchise" has picked as his opponent! Will the element of surprise prove too much for RVD, or will it be "Mr Monday Night" with his arm raised at the end of the night?

A few weeks back, Paul London & Brian Kendrick won a match to earn the right to face Mexico's Most Wanted for the EPW Tag Team Titles at Still Barely Legal. However, a lot of people have questioned London and Kendrick's ability to capture the titles at the big show, so London & Kendrick issued an open challenge this week, which the team of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov accepted. The question now is did London & Kendrick make a mistake issuing this challenge? The "Moscow Mauler" has a long history of putting people on the shelf, and that's the last thing London & Kendrick need just weeks before their big title match!

Plus, Philadelphia Wrestling Circuit had their first show not that long ago, and this week on EPW, we will be showing some of the big highlights from that show!

All this and more on EPW ON HBO!!! BE THERE!!!

EPW on HBO

“Start A War” by Static X plays as the opening video airs. We are live from Jersey City, New Jersey. The crowd goes nuts as we go to Joey Styles.

Joey: Hello there, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another exciting edition of Extreme Pro Wrestling on HBO! We're just two weeks away from our first pay per view, Still Barely Legal, and we have a great show lined up for you tonight! But right now, we're going to take you to the ring for our first match of the night!

“Genie in a Bottle” by Fozzy plays as Paul London and Brian Kendrick run down to the ring to thunderous cheers.

Joey: Well, folks, for weeks people have been asking if London and Kendrick have what it takes to take down Mexico's Most Wanted at Still Barely Legal, and tonight they have a chance to prove what they're made of!

“Pain” plays as Marella and Kozlov make their ways to the ring to sizable boo's.

Joey: Some of the newer viewers might be laughing at this pairing, but Kozlov and Santino are not a team to be made light of! Vladimir Kozlov has put several EPW wrestlers on the shelf before, and if history were to repeat itself tonight, it would, without a doubt, hurt the team of London and Kendrick immensely! They're going to need to try and end this one as quickly as possible to go into the pay per view healthy!

MATCH 1: Paul London and Brian Kendrick VS Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

London and Santino start this one off, tying up in the center of the ring. Marella gets a few blows in before hip tossing London in the center of the ring. Santino hits the ropes and goes for a running head butt, but London lifts a knee and Santino collides with it. The two get up, Santino holding his head a bit, and tie up again. London locks Santino in a side head lock, Marella goes to reverse it into a back drop... LONDON FLIPS OVER! He hits Santino with a dropkick, following it with a few clubby blows to the lower back, Santino turns around... WOW! London hits him with the dropsault... sending Santino to his corner... oh no! Santino successfully tags in Kozlov. London's on his feet... OW! Vladimir greets him with a running head butt to the chest. Kozlov takes advantage for quite the while, throwing London around like a rag doll. Kozlov picks London up for a scoop slam... UNBELIEVABLE! London reverses that into a huricanrana, London is slowly crawling to his corner... LONDON TAGS IN KENDRICK! Kendrick runs in, guns blazing, hitting Kozlov with a huge dropkick. Santino runs in... but London clothesline's him over the top rope! Kendrick hits a huricanrana on Kozlov, sending him into the corner. Kendrick grabs Kozlov's head, he runs towards the ropes... SLICED BREAD NUMBER 2! 1... 2.... 3! This one's in the books!

WINNERS: Paul London and Brian Kendrick by Pinfall after 8:19

London and Kendrick are celebrating in the center of the ring, to massive cheers. You can tell that London's midsection is hurting pretty bad... but then the screen cuts out into static! The HBO logo flashes with the letters “M J C D B” under it. The words fade out and it fades into the word “Soon...” We go to a commercial break.

COMMERCIAL

When we return, “Oh Primo Rico” is playing. Primo Colon is standing in the center of the ring, to a small smattering of boo's.

Joey: Well, our next match is featuring one of PWC's talents, Primo Colon, and he is going to be facing his brother's opponent at Still Barely Legal.

As Joey says this, “J-Pop Drop” begins to play, as Yoshi Tatsu comes to the ring to a decent amount of applause.

MATCH 2: Primo Colon VS Yoshi Tatsu

The match starts with the two tying up in the center of the ring. Primo hits a drop kick. The two get up, Primo hits another drop kick. The two get up again, and Primo goes for another drop kick, but Tatsu side steps it and hits Primo with a drop kick of his own as Colon is still coming down. The two get up and go back and fourth with arm drags until Primo tries to go for another drop kick, which Tatsu steps away from. Primo gets up, and Tatsu hits Primo with a roaring elbow. Primo gets up, and … DAMN! Yoshi hits him with a strong roundhouse kick. 1... 2... 3, it's done!

WINNER: Yoshi Tatsu by Pinfall after 2:49

Yoshi celebrates in the ring, we go to Joey Styles.

Joey: Well, folks, Yoshi gets a strong win going into his match at Still Barely Legal, but right now, we'd like to take you to last Friday, when the Philadelphia Wrestling Circuit had it's debut show in the same city that we will be hosting Still Barely Legal in, Philadelphia! Let's check it out!

A video airs showing highlights, including Bully Ray squashing Colin Delaney, Hardcore Holly VS Skip Sheffeild, Necro Butcher beating Kenny Dykstra, DH Smith facing Paul Burchill, Team OMEGA beating The Core to win the PWC Tag Titles and Colt Cabana beating Desmond Wolfe to become the PWC Champion. Camera then cuts backstage, where Primo Colon is walking down a hallway, disappointed at his loss. Carlito sneaks up behind him and... CARLITO NAILS PRIMO WITH THE BACK STABBER!!! Carlito gets up, title around his waste and bites into an apple, then SPITS THE APPLE AT HIS OWN BROTHER. He smirks before walking away, and we cut to commercial.

COMMERCIAL

When we return, you can see Maven Huffman standing in an empty arena, center of the ring, staring into the camera.

Maven: Seven weeks ago, I beat Zach Ryder in the center of this very ring. Seven weeks ago, Zach Ryder retaliated by assaulting me after that very match, taking a month away from my life. I couldn't compete, I couldn't sleep due to the amount of pain I was in... a month of my life that I will never be able to get back... and in two weeks, I'm getting even. Zach, if I were you, I'd run back to Long Island, because in Philadelphia in two weeks, I'm going to spill some “Long Island Iced Z” all over this mat!

Cameras then go to Joey Styles.

Joey: Well, like Maven just said, in two weeks Maven will go one on one against Zach Ryder, and he's looking to redeem himself and get even with the “Rough Ryder”. But that's not all that we're going to see (Graphics flash across the screen). We will also see Bryan Danielson go against Jeff Hardy for the EPW title. Hardy has been getting some pretty big wins as of late, and they haven't been in the most honest ways, so one has to wonder if Jeff's cheating ways will be Danielson's downfall. Also, possibly the hottest rivalry in EPW history will culminate at Still Barely Legal, as Rob Van Dam will face off against Shane Douglas in a hardcore match! These men have been itching to get a hold of one another, and when the gloves are off, who can tell what will happen! Plus, after beating the champions several weeks back, Paul London and Brian Kendrick will face Mexico's Most Wanted for their tag titles! Also, Victoria Varon will defend her Woman’s title against Mickie James, Carlito Colon will defend the International title against Yoshi Tatsu, and recently announced on our website, John Morrison will face Homicide and Ayako Hamada will face Gail Kim! But for now, we're going to take you backstage with Christy Hemme.

Christy is standing backstage with RVD.

Christy: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, “Mr Monday Night” Rob Van Dam. Rob, you have a match up next against a hand-picked opponent chosen by your opponent at Still Barely Legal, Shane Douglas, and you have no idea who he is! How do you feel going into this match?

Rob: Christy, I could really care less who Shane picked, and it doesn't worry me at all that I don't know who it is. I'm the Whole Fuckin' Show, I've beaten opponents from around the world, and nobody Douglas, or anybody else could pick can hold a candle to me. As far as I'm concerned, it's 4:20, and somebody's gonna get FUCKING SMOKED!

RVD walks away as we cut to a break.

COMEMRCIAL BREAK

When we return, “Walk” by Pantera is blasting as Van Dam makes his way to the ring to huge cheers. A shot of Shane Douglas backstage is shown, and he's seated in front of a TV set, watching the match. Camera's cut back to the ring, where RVD is awaiting his opponent... and “It's A New Day” by Adelitas Way plays. His opponent tonight is none other then “The Fortunate Son” Ted Dibiase jr, who is being greeted with boo's from the crowd!

MAIN EVENT: Rob Van Dam VS Ted Dibiase Jr

The two start off by tying up in the center of the ring. Ted gets an early advantage with an elbow to the jaw, following it up with a power slam. Ted gets up, goes off the rope, and hits RVD with a fist drop. Dibiase does very well throughout a big chunk of the match, wearing Van Dam down. Dibiase eventually locks in the Million Dollar Dream, and Van Dam begins to go to sleep due to the hold. The ref checks him. 1..... no response.... 2..... no response.... 3.... VAN DAM KEEPS HIS ARM UP!!! Van Dam slowly works his way up to his feet... he stomps Dibiase's toe a few times, DIBIASE LETS GO OF THE HOLD. Dibiase tries to take Van Dam out with a short armed clothesline, but RVD ducks it and kisses Dibiase's jaw with a spinning crescent kick! Van Dam takes a second to regain his bearings as Dibiase slowly gets up. Dibiase goes for a clothesline, but Rob cartwheel's out of the way and hits Dibiase with a one handed bulldog. Van Dam takes the advantage here, until Dibiase hits a spine buster out of nowhere. Van Dam's on the ground, Dibiase goes to the top rope, he holds his fist up, dives for the top rope fist drop.. WOW! Van Dam lifts his foot at just the ring moment and it collides with Dibiase's face! The two slowly get to their feet, Van Dam jumps off the ropes... he hits a springboard leg lariat! Mr Monday Night gets up, hits the ropes... A HUGE ROLLING THUNDER!! Van Dam again gets up, goes to the top rope... 5 STAR FROG SPLASH!!! 1... 2... 3! IT'S ALL OVER!!!

WINNER: Rob Van Dam by Pinfall after 15:08

A shot of Douglas backstage fuming airs. Our final shot of the night is RVD standing on the top rope doing his thumb point pose.

Alright so i just read evreyone of these in a row. I have a few comments. Overall I find them entertaining to read. I would like some more match variety with the deep roster, or perhaps two shows? I feel like there's a few I never really see in action, most glaringly for me at the moment being Bryan Danielson. Also with so many great tag teams it might be hard to integrate them all. I just found the overall presentation of the roster to be more intriguing than the cumulative product so far. That being said it was a decent way to pass 4:00 am to 4:38 am when super stoned.

THIS WEEK on EPW ON HBO:

We are just one week away from EPW's first Pay Per View, Still Barely Legal, and tensions are running high between "The Franchise" Shane Douglas and "The Whole Fucking Show" Rob Van Dam! Last week, RVD was able to win his "Pick Your Poison" match. The question is, however, will Douglas have the same luck? That said, Shane has an advantage that Van Dam didn't, as RVD announced who he's selected as Shane's opponent; None other then our EPW Champion, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson! With Danielson defending his title against Jeff Hardy and Douglas having to face Van Dam in a Hardcore Match, there's no doubt that these two not only have something to prove, but that they're going to have to be careful out there to avoid injury before Sunday!

"The Long Island Iced Z" Zach Ryder may have made a huge mistake by injuring Maven Huffman on the first edition of EPW on HBO, but Ryder is looking to prove that he'll be able to beat Maven no problem. This week he will be squaring off against Colin Delaney. Folks may laugh at this match up due to Delaney's run in WWECW a few years back, but after a few shocking wins as of late, Delaney just might have a chance of beating the "Rough Ryder".

Carlito Colon has been a very dominant International Champion for the past 5 months, but he has two huge matches coming up. Not only will he be defending his title against Yoshi Tatsu at Still Barely Legal, but, this week on EPW on HBO, he will also have to face off against Charlie Haas. Haas, who right now is one half of a tag team with long time partner Shelton Benjamin, is one of the best technical wrestlers not only in EPW, but in the world, and he'll be looking to prove that he's just as valid of a singles competitor as a tag team specialist!

All this and more on this weeks EPW on HBO!!! DON'T MISS IT

Default Re: Extreme Revival

EPW on HBO

"Start a War" by Static X plays, along with the intro video. Tonight, we are live from Providence, Rhode Island. We cut straight to the ring. "Toxic" by Brittany Spears is playing as Colin Delaney comes out to a sympathetic cheer. He looks much more confident then how most fans would remember him, however.

Joey: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the last EPW on HBO before our first Pay Per View, Still Barely Legal. My name is Joey Styles, and we have a huge show for you tonight! Right now, though, you can see Colin Delaney making his way to the ring. Delaney, of course, is remembered by most fans as a punching bag... let's see how he fares tonight.

"Toxic" fades as "Radio" by Watt White plays. Zach Ryder makes his way to the ring to huge boo's, cockily swaggering toward the ring without a care in the world.

Joey: And there you see Zach Ryder making his way to the ring. He looks pretty relaxed, but if I were him, I'd be a bit more worried! Ryder has a big match on Sunday against Maven Huffman, and it's safe to say that Maven will be looking to get even after Zach put him out of action for a month.

MATCH 1: Colin Delaney VS Zach Ryder

The match starts off with the two tying up in the ring. Ryder twists Colin's arm, but Colin actually reverses it into an arm drag. The two get up, and Colin hits a snapmare on Ryder. The two get up and Colin rolls Zach up in a school boy. One count. To their feet, and Colin rolls Zach up in a sunset flip pin! One count. Again to their feet, and Colin hits a drop kick, he goes for a pin afterward, gets a one count. Again to their feet, Colin boots Ryder in the gut, front head lock, Ryder pushes him off, Ryder dropkicks Colin into the corner, Colin lands on his ass... OOH! Ryder runs up and boots Delaney in the face! Ryder basically squashes Delaney the rest of the match, finally hitting the Zach Attack to get the pin!

WINNER: Zach Ryder by Pinfall after 4:14

Ryder is shown celebrating, being showered with boo's, when the screen cuts to static. The HBO logo flashes, as it has in weeks before, with the letters "M J C D B M" under it. The logo flashes, and the word "Sunday" appears. A few more seconds of static plays before we cut to commercial.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

When we return, "TNT" by ACDC is playing as Charlie Haas makes his way to the ring to a decent amount of fan fare.

Joey: Welcome back to EPW, folks. Right now, Charlie Haas is making his way to the ring. Haas, as I'm sure most of you know, is one half of a tag team with Shelton Benjamin, so it will be interesting seeing him in one on one action. That said, I won't take anything away from Charlie. He is truly one of the best technical wrestlers out there today.

"TNT" fades out, and "Cool" plays. Carlito Colon makes his way out to the ring, title on his shoulder and apple in hand, to the jeers of the audience.

Joey: Our International champion, Carlito, is making his way out to the ring now. Colon will be facing Yoshi Tatsu, of course, this Sunday for the International title, so Carlito can't be careful enough out there tonight.

MATCH 2: Charlie Haas VS Carlito Colon (Non Title)

The match starts off with a bit of back-and-fourth. Arm drags, snapmares, a bit of brawling, ext. The match start to goes one way when Haas whips Carlito into the ropes, but the IN champion reverses by springing off the ropes and smacking Haas in the face with an elbow. Carlito has a pretty firm hold on the match for a bit. A few minutes in, Carlito catches Charlie with a super kick to the chops, getting a two count out of it. Carlito gets up, grabs Haas' legs.... Carlito locks in the figure four leg lock! Charlie is absolutely writhing in pain, but shows no signs of tapping. Charlie starts to turn his body, Colon fights it... yes! Charlie flips the hold around, putting the pressure on Carlito's legs. Carlito struggles for a bit to try and flip Haas around, but eventually has to break the hold! The two stand up, and Haas nails "The Bad Apple" with an over head belly to belly suplex! Carlito sits up, and Charlie nails him with a very stiff kick to the middle of his back! Haas schools Carlito for awhile with various suplexes and amateur wrestling-style moves before finally locking in his submission hold, the Haas of Pain! Carlito screams in agony, but ends up scooting close enough to grab the rope, forcing Charlie to break the hold. The two get up, Haas goes off the ropes, runs toward Carlito, Carlito ducks behind him... OOH! Carlito nails Haas with the Back Stabber! 1... 2... 3! This one's done!

WINNER: Carlito Colon by Pinfall after 10:02

Carlito rolls out of the ring, grabs his title and makes his way toward the back, the crowd booing him. We go backstage, where Hemme is standing with John Morrison.

Christy: My guest at this time, John Morrison. John, last week Paul Heyman announced that you will be facing Homicide at Still Barely Legal. How do you feel going into this match on Sunday?

Jo Mo: Well, Christy, first of all, it's an honor and a pleasure to be competing in EPW's first ever pay per view. I've been here for awhile, now, and I think it's about time for me to start putting my focus toward the EPW title, and if Homicide is my first obstacle on that path... well, sucks to be him! I'd hate to cut this short, Christy, but I have a match up next!

Christy nods as Morrison walks off screen.

When we return, Shocker is already in the ring, a very slight boo buzzing in the arena. "Ain't no make believe" by Stonefree Experience plays as John Morrison makes his way to the ring to a good pop.

MATCH 3: Shocker VS John Morrison

The match starts off with a bang as Shocker hits a huricanrana, sending Jo Mo to the corner. Shocker springs up and hits a corner boot on John, John steps out of the corner, Shocker lifts him up, and he hits a Samoan Slam on him! Shocker goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. The two get up, Shocker goes to punch Morrison, but Morrison blocks it, responding with a few punches, then hitting a capoeira-style kick on Shocker. "The Shaman of Sexy" dominates the remainder of this match before wrapping it all up with some Star Ship Pain!

WINNER: John Morrison by Pinfall after 4:52

Morrison celebrates the simple victory, with the fans cheering "JO MO JO MO"

Joey: Well, folks, we all know that John Morrison is going to be facing Homicide at Still Barely Legal, but let's check out some of the other matches we have lined up for you at our first Pay-Per-View event!

Graphics show for each of the matches, along with Korn ft. Skrillex "Get Up" playing.

Joey: Well, folks, we already mentioned the International Title match earlier, where Carlito Colon will defend his title against Yoshi Tatsu! We also mentioned the grudge match, where Maven Huffman will be looking to get even with Zach Ryder for putting him out of commission for a month! We will see Woman's Champion Victoria Varon defend her title against Mickie James, who won a seven-woman battle royal to earn the right to face Varon. For the tag titles, we'll see our champions, Mexico's Most Wanted, go up against Paul London and Brian Kendrick! In a woman's match-up, we will see Gail Kim go one on one with Ayako Hamada. For the EPW Championship, we will witness our champion, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, square off against Jeff Hardy! And, in arguably the most anticipated match in EPW history, we will see Rob Van Dam face Shane Douglas in a hardcore match! Speakings of, don't go anywhere, because up next, we will see our champion, Bryan Danielson, face off against Shane Douglas in our main event! Don't go anywhere!

COMMERCIAL

When we return, “Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple is blaring over the intercom. Shane Douglas makes his way to the ring to a thunderous round of boo's, “You Suck” chants, ext. Shane is taunting the audience as he makes his way toward the ring.

Joey: Folks, the Franchise cannot be pleased at all right now. He is less then a week away from his Hardcore match against Rob Van Dam at Still Barely Legal, and he has to go one on one with the EPW Champion, Bryan Danielson! There is no doubt that this match will take a lot out of “The Franchise”.

“Perfect Strangers” fades out and “The Final Countdown” by Europe begins to play. Fans go into a frenzy as “The American Dragon” comes out to the ring, and a “Shane's Gonna Get His Fucking Head Kicked In thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump” chant breaks out. Danielson takes the time to high five people in the crowd.

Joey: Of course, Shane isn't the only one who has to be worried about this match tonight! Bryan Danielson will be defending his EPW title against “The Antichrist of Professional Wrestling”, Jeff Hardy, this Sunday, and Hardy is not above focusing on any part of the body that Danielson may get dinged up tonight. This match is going to be huge, folks!

MAIN EVENT: Shane Douglas VS Bryan Danielson

The match begins with the two tying up, trying to out muscle, out wrestle and out brawl each other, but each time finding themselves in a stale mate. The first big move of the match is Danielson nailing a belly to belly suplex out of nowhere. The two get up and Danielson hits Douglas with a snap suplex. The two get up, Douglas swings at Danielson, but Bryan ducks it and hits a bridging German suplex, getting an early two count. Danielson has the advantage here, putting a lot of his focus on the left arm of “The Franchise”. Danielson eventually even hits a huge dragon suplex, almost getting the three count, but Shane kicks out at the last millisecond. Danielson gets up and stalks Shane for a moment, as Shane slowly gets up. Danielson sprints toward Douglas, goes for a clothesline, Douglas ducks it, Bryan hits the ropes, Shane grabs him... The Franchise hits an inverted atomic drop on Bryan. Shane follows this up with a snapmare, then kicks Danielson hard in the chest. The Franchise has an advantage for a while until he goes for the Franchiser. When Douglas grabs Danielson's head, Danielson punches Shane in the head a few times until he lets go, Danielson goes off the ropes... WOW! That was a HUGE flying forearm smash from the ropes! Danielson lifts Douglas up on his shoulders, and airplane spins him around for a few moments, before putting him down. Bryan grabs Douglas for a belly to belly, but Douglas stomps on Bryan's toe and hits a belly to belly suplex of his own. The two slowly get up.... SHANE DOUGLAS HITS THE PITTSBURGH PLUNGE OUT OF NOWHERE!!! He goes for the cover. 1.... Bryan looks hurt..... 2.... he's not getting up from that.... HE KICKS OUT!!! HE KICKS OUT!!! Shane Douglas looks absolutely STUNNED by this! Douglas gets up and begins to argue with the ref, as Bryan slowly makes his way up. Danielson sneaks up behind Shane, he kicks “The Franchise” in the back of the knee.... DANIELSON LOCKS IN THE LABELLE LOCK!!! THE LABELLE LOCK IS IN TIGHT!!! The two are smack dab in the middle of the ring, Shane Douglas has no chance in hell of making it to the ropes. It looks like Douglas is about to tap... BUT WHAT'S THIS?!? That's.... THAT'S JEFF HARDY!!! Hardy runs in from the audience with a steel chair in hand.... HARDY NAILS DOUGLAS WITH THE CHAIR!!! The ref is calling for the bell!

Winner: Bryan Danielson by DQ after 13:29

After the initial chair shot, Jeff Hardy lays the boots down on Danielson, and Shane joins in, hitting the Pittsburgh Plunge on Danielson for a second time. Shane places the chair on Danielson's chest, and Jeff makes his way up to the top rope. This isn't going to end well... but wait! “Walk” by Pantera begins to blare... YES! ROB VAN DAM AND JOHN MORRISON RUN DOWN TO THE RING!!! As the two slide in, Hardy and Douglas make their way out of the ring and practically sprint up the entrance ramp, narrowly avoiding RVD and Jo Mo. The final shot of the night is Jo Mo and RVD checking on Bryan!
