I'm not sure if it's just me, but the old thread has become an absolute pain in the ass to open due to it trying to take me ten or so pages ahead of the actual last page. So to make it easier, here's a new thread.

Old thread for those of you who wish to refer back: http://www.wrestlingforum.com/booker/510932-official-btb-discussion-thread.html

~ No spamming
~ No arguing
~ Under any circumstances, NO "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!"
~ You can discuss other BTBs here, it's fine. Don't shill your BTB needlessly, however
~ If you have a question regarding "What Should You Do," just go with your gut instinct
~ Use references like google or onlineworldofwrestling for answers to questions you could easily find yourself

Post away.

I plan out from WM to WM. I rarely stick to it...

Anybody wish they only had one brand to book? :(

I'd combine the rosters if the star power wouldn't look so ridiculous.

John Cena vs. Triple H for the U.S. Title = no ratings.

I book on the fly mostly. I plan some of it out. For example MITB in my thread is not for another two months but I know who I want to win the briefcase. I guess the big picture stuff I plan out. Everything else is just tossed together in a coherent matter.

A created promotion with created wrestlers if really a fun thing to do. I did it once as a kid. I would write all the promotional details in a notepad. All wrestler bio's at the back of the book and then have a separate book for the show bookings/TV tapings.

I wouldn't advise even thinking about it. In 95% of cases, one person bails and quite often, without even telling their partner. Bad mix. If you don't want to write Raw & Smackdown just do a different brand or just write Raw or cancel Smackdown.

So yeah, wouldn't recommend doing partner work.

Recapping ain't frowned upon that much anymore. So long as it's detailed.

What I'd suggest is maybe, if you're doing a BTB from the era where the brand split was going on and was actually exclusive, is writing out the brand that has a PPV upcoming, and recapping the other brand, and going on throughout the months.

When you have a dual-brand show (The Big 4) write up both.

For example:

Up to Backlash: write Raw, recap SD
Up to Judgment Day: recap Raw, write SD
Up to Vengeance: write Raw, recap SD
Up to TGAB: recap Raw, write SD
Up to Summerslam: write Raw, write SD
