Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Could have all said this a few pages back when I suggested it. I dont get the negativity but oh well. It is actually more of a piece on PPV's as their is a few questions as well.

I misinterpreted what the thread was about. Nevertheless, I still see no point, but keep it anyway. As long as you keep it updated, I see no problem in it being there.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Okay, an actual booking question here -

How do you guys go about after writing a show you know was sub-par? I mean a show, with or without feedback, that you KNOW was off? I think the real question is what is your mindset after knowing you let out a show that wasn't as good as you could've made it? As a person, I dwell on things (FAR too much), but as a booker, I know that can't be the right mindset.

Any help?

I'd accompany the show with a disclaimer of sorts saying that 'this is far from my best work' or something to that affect. If I knew that it was particularly poor then I would work on it until it was as desired. There's not much else to do other than edit it or carry on and work on the next show.

Ouch.

Honestly, kind of ironic though, because I'm actually writing one of those shows right now. I guess you just write it, and move on. If you dwell on it, you'll quit, so ahhh, don't do that.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

That's not just ironic, that's hillarious.

On the otherhand, the show I am writing, like me myself, is awesome.

I wish I knew what it was like to write a bad show. I really do.

You can claim it's awesome because you know that no one else is ever going to see it.

You know you love me.
