I'm not sure if it's just me, but the old thread has become an absolute pain in the ass to open due to it trying to take me ten or so pages ahead of the actual last page. So to make it easier, here's a new thread.
~ No spamming
~ No arguing
~ Under any circumstances, NO "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!"
~ You can discuss other BTBs here, it's fine. Don't shill your BTB needlessly, however
~ If you have a question regarding "What Should You Do," just go with your gut instinct
~ Use references like google or onlineworldofwrestling for answers to questions you could easily find yourself
I was a bit out of the wrestling loop for much of 2005, but how exactly was Edge booked in terms of title shots while he held the MITB briefcase? I keep reading he had a few world title shots while still in possesion of the briefcase. How exactly did that work?
There was a Gold Rush tournament happening on RAW with the winner of the tourny facing Triple H who had the title at the time. Edge won in the finals beating Kane, even though he was still holding the MITB. I think.
Edge indeed won the Gold Rush Tournament, which was a tourney featuring some of the top stars of RAW, thus he was in it. This was in about May (just after Triple H had "walked out", leading to the Hell in a Cell), resulting in him facing Batista for the title. Basically, he didn't come out and declare he wanted to be number one contender, because considering he had the briefcase, that would be odd.
In regards to the latest 'Heyman has a new promotion' thread I always wonder why every new Heyman company is hardcore oriented. I think if Heyman ever started a new company it would NOT be similar to ECW at all. He understands why the WWE moved away from the Attitude Era, back to PG. He'd come with a whole new concept probably.
Meh. EPW doesn't have to be the only Heyman based created fed around here, y'know. It's also inactive for now, so what's the problem? If that's who you want to use, why let this stop you?
Don't do things because people might not want to see it, do it because you want to write it. I thought it was pretty self explanatory with the whole BTB thing being about booking your own version of professional wrestling.

THIS x1000. Too often do people give up on threads because they think people aren't reading or enjoying. (Myself included in the past.) But that's one of the worst mistakes you can make. Don't do it for people -- though people are here and you want people to read -- BTB'ing is about you fufilling YOUR satisfaction & rewriting history/deciding future.
Haha, you guys are hilarious. And Overdrive is coming soon. The Cruiserweight is the last match left to write. Motivation for the first show is weird this go-round.
I was saying that because I've only been here since 06, I don't know what kind of BTB's happened before that time period, and there's no way I am going to go looking haha. Too lazy for that.
And for feedback, for the all of 3 shows or so I've posted, it has actually helped me. The feedback at least for me has made me realize just what I need to improve on. I mean, I use to write so shitty. I would write a Punk promo and someone like Batista, who isn't that great on the mic, the same way. I now know how to differentiate between them and write each accordingly.
