Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I find writing for Deadman Taker incredibly easy. Same goes for Kane. Then again, their promo styles/lines are definitely more in tune with the kind of style I enjoy.

The Undertaker and it's not even close. I feel really restricted by the supernatural nature of his gimmick and trying to protect the mysteriousness that surrounds him.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Triple H for me, which is one of the (many) reasons I left WWE threads. Just something about him and the way he needs to be written and booked never clicked well for me.

I guess a lot of 'big guys' are a little difficult to write, too. Especially when their 'monster' aura is shattered.

In every EWR game/diary I write, I hate booking and writing with The Big Show. There are always better guys to have in the title picture, and its gotten to the point where I will just write him off for a very extended period of time.
Orton is pretty dull to write in my opinion, Taker doesn't do a whole lot of talking in my BTB.

The Rock | Undertaker | Triple H | Chris Jericho | Stone Cold

CM Punk | Dean Ambrose | Mark Henry | Daniel Bryan | Dolph Ziggler

Austin Aries | Jeff Hardy | AJ Styles | Bully Ray | Christopher Daniels

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Interesting that so many people have said Undertaker. I guess it just goes to show that character says a lot more through actions than words.

You want to talk about difficult promos to write? How about Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin? Again, two guys who should say more in the ring than they do on the microphone, but when they DO have to speak - ugh.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I hate writing with Cena and Batista. As everyone always says, they have very bland and non-complex move sets at all. I feel like when I write with them, to at least try and stay realistic, I have to use the same moves over and over. And their mic skills aren't too great either.

Thanks CHAMPviaDQ for sig and avy

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Kane and Taker are pretty bad too tbh. Deadman Taker is boring AF imo. I feel like with Taker, if hes not in the title picture, its hard to do shit with him.

Kane, just eh.
