This, this, and this. Then again, I guess it's up to what preferred writing style you want to go with. I just dislike how recaps are looked down upon by some.

People who know me know that my fandom and "markdom" for that beautiful man knows no bounds.

he was definitely someone i was going to look to bring up along with Ascension, Xavier Woods, Leo Kruger, Kassius Ohno, Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville and Corey Graves. The concept i'm looking at is where all contracts are on the line for a month and any NXT talent that can gain a victory over a main roster member will be able to gain that individuals contract

I am always for people bringing up developmental talents. Always adds excitement imo.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Hmm...this whole full vs. recap thing all sounds like the grounds of the next Debate

But personally, I'm much more of a writer, so I enjoy taking that long road. As Melvis said before - just saying two guys face each other isn't enough for me. I don't, however, think one format way is better than another and while I do mostly agree with the first thing Legend has posted in almost a year, I also find it a bit silly to think there's only one way to do things. Everyone here pines for creativity and I'm sure there has to be some way to capture what people enjoy about full shows while keeping the brevity of a recap style. Hell, this almost seems like a challenge to me. Perhaps I can join GOD in his experiments with my Offseason...?

I have found, though, that PPV recaps are quite fun.

If this debate happens, I want the recap side of things.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Thing is, if you're a writer, kudos to you honestly. You can write a long show, but if the booking imo sucks, that shits all over the writing for me.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I find it difficult to write full shows. I just don't have the dedication to write full shows. Major props to those who have the time and dedication to write full shows. I prefer writing in recap form which includes the important match details and promos. If I started writing full shows I would lose interest. Writing shows in recap form motivates me and this way I can be more consistent. Now I'm working on both promotions for my thread WWF and WCW(Monday Night Wars about to begin) so it's not that easy but still fun to book both promotions.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Recaps are more than fine with me, certainly my preference. Written well enough it makes no difference if it's not in full. I remember back in the day it was full shows that 'had to be done'. Times have changed.
