If anyone's got any ideas on how to get out of this slump, i'd appreciate it.

(I'm also a bit pissed because i had a slight idea for Rampage Jackson to be an enforcer for one match and now he's in TNA, which would cause it to look like i copied it. Reid Flair was another i had an idea for into a story with his father Ric. My BTB is before his death, but out of respect i just can't put him in)
There's lots of avenues you can go buddy, just be creative. One thing that helps ms is to visualize different possible storylines. Also, sometimes It helps me to draw stuff. I'm not the best drawer but it gets my brain in to gear. Whoever is your top guy in your BTB right now, focus on him and try to come up with an interesting storyline surrounding him. Something I love doing is building up new guys and having them challenge for the big one.

You could also create a new stable. I'm eventually thinking of having a stable in my BTB in the future, I've got The Shield in mine but I'm talking about creating a fresh one from scratch. Try to think of something that's not been done before. Try to pick the best group of wrestlers that will flow well together.

I have Writer's Block a lot with my Be The Booker. Something that helps me also is to Listen to music when thinking of ideas or visualizing ideas before I go to bed at night. You'll be surprised how well the work. Find some music that fits the type of storyline you're thinking of doing and I'm sure it won't take long for you to find your inner creativity. Also, don't go trying to write a whole show in one day or a few days even. Just write a match/promo each day. Just say to yourself, "I only need to write one match/promo/segment today" you may find it easier to get your shows done. You could probably get a full show done in about a week doing that and it won't be too much on you. Also, don't worry about being realistic or anything. I worry about that sometimes but it's my booking not WWE's, I don't care if something is unrealistic, it's what I want to do.

That reminded me of a weird segment i did where the two men challenging for the world title were on the Jimmy Fallon show, where Antonio Banks, Monty Brown, and Michael Tarver held the show hostage while Jeff Jarrett used index cards to interview Banks and Carlito Colon.

Anyway thanks, i do have my big two segments thought out to a basic degree and hopefully it gets out there.

I just thought I'd let people know I was thinking of starting a thread, but then I changed my mind. I may still post one, or I may not. Just thought you'd all like to know. Thanks!

Nice... plug, I guess I can call it, eh TKOW?

Ha, anyway I've been basically trolling for a while and trying to catch up on some threads, but I mostly only see Nige's thread is running from when I was here like a year or a bit more ago and Wolfy, of course.. Da hell? Where's Stoj and Reney and all those likes?

To answer 619's question, I'm looking forward to most people returning back to their threads, such as Melvis (hurry up) and cp (hurry up). Also, TWG's NXT Supershow and the impending road to 'Mania, even if it will be just one match. Nige's WrestleMania is something to look forward to, as well as Wolfy's return. And for Flux to get a damn thread

I got a couple of questions:

How long does a title reign need to be before you consider it a 'legitimate' reign, not just a transitional one?

And what keeps you motivated to write your shows?

I'd class something past a month as a legitimate reign probably. A few weeks or something still seems transitional to me.

To answer your second question, I keep motivated because I enjoy doing it. I probably still wouldn't be doing if I wasn't. But I have some good storyline ideas down the line and I've got a good few feuds planned. Also, I've made my BTB a challenge to really enjoy it. I'm trying to re-invent the Diva's Division in mine and also I'm making sure that every title has importance and a place. Not on and off feuds, I'm making sure I have solid feuds for each titles. Going to start debuting and building up some new stars to Challenge for the big one as time goes on.

A legitimate reign is one that has had at least, I'd say 2, convincing defences against different and worthy opponents. It depends how they overcome their opponents and also how long they hold the title for.

A legitimate reign, to me, depends on how much focus is put on the champion. If your champion has a 1-year reign, but is only on TV every three weeks, or only in 2-minute matches doing positively nothing, then that reign is not legitimate in my eyes. Then he's just holding the belt because someone has to hold it.

If your champion is the focal point of his level of the card (be it undercard, midcard or main event) then you're talking about a legitimate champion, because he's the one getting all the attention.
