Be really apreciated (Link in my sig)
First rule of BTB, don't ask for feedback.

Mainly because you'll come off as someone who cares about getting praise or comments rather than wanting to write. Get your head down and write. If people want to leave feedback they will. Chances are those odds just went down.

Okay sorry dude, it's just that feeling when you want something to work and it's just not working and you try to force it through which I shouldn't had done.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

What would you guys say the biggest thing to avoid when it comes to the booking part of writing a storyline/show?

Been doing research and slowly working on my project as school is still going until mid May. Come summer I'm trying to have a clear cut idea and be ready to write.

Creating a faction with no direction in mind could be a big one.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Don't give all of your creative ability to a certain angle you want to book, give your attention to the whole show. There's been a few of my very old threads where I just focused on the main event and had no regard for the mid card or even the lower card, it's a big mistake and makes you lose all motivation very quickly.

Yeah, I also agree with don't book a faction that has no direction.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Don't start with a bunch of people unrelated to the brand you are starting with (Start a WWE thread with a bunch of non-WWE talent) unless you have a reason clearly given for it.

Don't use wrestlers or a promotion that you don't really know anything about.

Don't expect your audience to know non-WWE wrestlers.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Don't assume that everyone has been reading from the start. If the first show in the thread that a new reader reads is a few months into the thread, they could feel that they're excluded from being able to give proper feedback and insight. Try your best to make everyone feel like they're at the same point at the end of every show.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I've been penning ideas down for a few days for a created fed. Just a question or two. What would be an appropriate number of wrestlers for a 1 hour show anddddd what is the easiest way to fail a created fed, so I can avoid it.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Plan as thoroughly as possible, that goes for any thread, but even more so for a created fed, IMO.

Edit: I do realise how hypocritical it is for me of all people to say this, before anybody decides to take any jabs at me.
