Does that not put you off wanting to just skip everything and get there or anything? or do you not feel as if you'll rush through the early shows to get there quicker or whatever? That's always been the problem with planning everything out so far ahead. Fair enough, a general idea of feuds, debuts, matches etc. But to plan out everything, I can't imagine it being easy to refrain from skipping or rushing through?

Flux I totally see what you're saying but I've done the exact same for my thread and I actually find it beneficial.

I've had my Mania card in mind and knowing what it's gonna be, knowing that's where I wanna get to is motivation enough for me to produce the goods leading towards it, not just at that particular show.

At the same time I fully understand your point and of course there's time where you think 'Oh I just wanna get there now, screw this month, let's skip it'. I'm sure there are a lot of people who do end up doing that. I guess it comes down to motivation in the end. To each their own!

I plan my PPV cards in advance and type out ideas I have for the feuds when they come to me to use in those planned feuds but book each show as it comes. A lot of the time the card for the upcoming PPV changes because when you write things they come off differently to what you expected. My WrestleMania card's changed so many times it's crazy, as has No Way Out.

I'm new to the site and I was wondering has an Indy thread, like ROH ever worked out here?

I tend to book on the fly, maybe that's why all my threads end early? Maybe I should give some advanced planning a wee go.

I usually book from big PPV to big PPV with a general idea of where I want to go and what I want to do afterwards but nothing concrete, and I book weekly shows on the fly. Maybe that's down to me being lazy and not being arsed to plan 12 months at a time, or maybe it's because it's simple and kinda effective. Who knows.

THATS JUST WHAT I DO :henry1

This may sound superficial and I don't mean to be, but has anyone else felt like they planned a pay per view to be too good? By that I mean a wrestlemania with like 5 HUUUGE matches and you feel you should cut back or something? Thought this recently and I don't know if I should just injure someone or what because the mid card and low card don't get highlighted much, but then again it is 'mania so... Who knows. Thoughts? Lol, ramblin'

I think more often than not people do try and book the perfect card at PPV's especially Wrestlemania. The mid card does get ignored in some cases and I think you need to try and get some balance with the huge matches on the card and the lower card.

I wouldn't bother injuring someone to just get them off the card but if having loads of big matches on one card affects the quality of future pay per views then I think you need to look at re-jigging who faces who and when.

Yeah I'm in the same boat right now, still not sure on the final card. I've got four main event matches, two titles, two one-on-one. There's MITB, two tag title matches, divas match, IC title, 8 person tag match. I've switched it around a bit but still have a few undercard feuds planned that could maybe work it's way on. I'm going to see how they pan out and change it if need be. That's the best way I think.

I always plan ppv cards and rough ideas for main feuds or title changes up until the next big four ppv and from there work backwards on how I'm going to accomplish it and start those feuds.
