Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

One of the greatest Raw moments I can remember is Mankind winning what was the WWF title for the first time in 1998. That was fantastic to watch and a really wonderful moment that didn't lose anything being on TV and not on pay-per-view. I even think that it being on Raw was better than it would've been on PPV, not that we'll ever know.

As long as it's a storyline that's been built up well then there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I remember when I dropped Jeff Hardy from The WWE Chronicles.

No one could quite believe I would release him, but I hated the guy and was not going to use him, so instead, I used him to help plot a new story arc for Edge.

There's releasing Jeffro then there's releasing The Undertaker, hence why I'm in a dilemma

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

What year are you planning on doing, Flux? I assume it's not from the last few years since it would be easy to just retire Undertaker....

Two Thousand And Four.

Remember when that was a name for one of my threads?

But yeah, can't even turn him back in to The American Badass gimmick again because he just returned as the deadman at Mania 20 (where I'm starting from)

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Ah, I see.... You COULD always change the results about and have the whole buried alive thing never happen? Or, just give him a career ending injury. It's unrealistic but if you don't like him that much, meh.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Hmm true, I'll find a way to work around it I guess, I just don't want it to seem too unrealistic or whatever.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I know how you feel regarding The Undertaker, he is pretty tough/repetitive to book for, especially as the Deadman.

Personally I'd have a young guy wanting to make an impact target him. If you could put the Deadman on the shelf then you'd create a new threat right off the bat. That or possibly a heel 'Ministry' Taker? Always something I thought would be interesting to book, difficult but different.

There should be a rule where you get banned for mentioning that thread unless you post in it.
