If you've enough matches to fill out a 5 hour show that belong there and aren't just thrown together, I don't see a problem.
I'd just like to add that I agree with this, but I need to stress that I'd hate the idea of a five-hour WrestleMania in real-life, because WWE would fill the extra hour with "comedy" skits that are anything but comedy and bring in celebrities who no one really cares about to waste everyone's money and time.

For reference, Wrestlemania 20 was five hours.
With a stacked card five hours is fine. Get your money's worth.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

3 hours is more than enough time for a great WrestleMania, 5 hours is just over-kill in my eyes. As someone said above, there would have to be so many skits that some of it would just have to be comedy and potentially ruin characters. So, I for one am against a 5-hour WrestleMania.

NOTHING WAS THE SAME

By chance does anyone know if the King of the Mountain match is owned by TNA or Jeff Jarrett?

If I am correct then I believe that it is exclusive to TNA. 'The King of the Mountain' is just Jarrett's nickname.

They hadn't mentioned or done one in a few years, so i assumed it was possible Jarrett owned it. But probably not.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I've got a King of the Ring tournament planned in my BTB, but I'm not sure how many matches I should put on PPV. My question is, should I have just the semis and the final on PPV, or the quarters, semis and final? Also, are the KOTR tournaments usually 16-man? That's what I've got planned, but I'm not too sure if its the right size. If anyone could fill me in on this, I'd be grateful.

It honestly depends on how many other matches you have planned for the pay-per-view barring the tournament matches. Obviously if you have three or four matches plus the KOTR matches then doing the quarters, semis, and finals would be too much.

Some of the KOTR tournaments have been sixteen man while some (most on television in recent years in WWE) have been only eight man tournaments. Sixteen man tournaments you can have the first eight matches be "qualifying" matches or simply make it a part of the tournament. It's been different in WWE often so it's your decision to make.
