Does anybody have any tips for writing a match for two guys you're not great at writing for? If so I could sure use them.

What I do:

1. Go to YouTube
2. Type in "Top moves (your wrestler)"
3. Take notes on moves and counters

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Two questions; what is good entrance music for Michael Tarver, and any tips on how to limit pay-per-view matches?

1. Describe his gimmick

2. I'm not quite sure I follow you

Tarver is an arrogant heel, relying mostly on his strikes. He is also somewhat of a 'lone wolf'.

I'll rephrase that second question; how many matches do you usually have for B and C-level PPVs, and how do you prioritize between the ongoing feuds eg. which go on PPV?

Ok I see

1. Roy Jones Jr- Can't Be Touched seems like the way to go

2. 6-8 for Minor shows, 8-10 for Major shows as for feuds it's up to you. A recommendation is to perhaps map out character paths from Summerslam-Series, Series(or rumble)-Mania, and Mania-Summerslam

Hope I could help

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Okay, here's a question for you all, seeing as I'm completely stumped with this one.

Whether you follow my thread or not, it is irrelevant. It isn't a secret that the first half of 2011 was horrible for tag team wrestling in the WWE, with the primary tag teams being Slater and Gabriel, The Usos and Kozlov/Santino. With that being said, with the roster so thin at the time you should understand that it is more difficult than it looks to create legitimate tag teams without ruining the midcard even further. So what I'm doing is bringing in tag teams from afar (the independents and some teams created from FCW wrestlers) and I'm going to TRY and run some sort of tag team initiative. Now, the easy thought would be to run a tag team NXT, which I have put some thought in to it. But baring in mind I would want the majority of, if not ALL, of the tag teams involved to stick around, the competition would be rendered pointless.

Any of you guys have any ideas whatsoever? Because I don't have the foggiest.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

^ Well I'm doing a Btb in that time and what I do is use guys that WWE doesn't use in tag teams BUT give them a gimmick. Don't just make them a McGuillicutty/Otunga. For instance, my tag team Mantastic is Bateman/Baretta but I've given them a very distinct gimmick. Perhaps for the initiative have like what TNA did for their X-Divison during Destination X and have an open tournament for a title shot. This can start rivalries and establish a winning tag team. Just an idea.
