Kirlienko all the way! Then there's Ivanovic & Wozniacki too. I'd take Sharapova over the Williams brothers though.

The Australian Open doesn't make any difference to BTB. Just take the time you need to make the show the best you can. Don't rush the show up for the sake of it! Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy!
You foreigners and your "football" we are talking about soccer right? I'm assumming the Australian Open and this Sharapova fellow is somehow related to soccer.

Anyway, I'm working on a created fed and using current free agent talent, so here's my question; Where the fuck is Brent Albright.

I research the guy and wiki only gives me up to 2009; I'm pretty sure he hasn't wrestled in ROH in a while, I think he might be with that NWA hollywood group, I'm just trying to make sure Brent is still in someway active and didn't suffer some kind of career ending injury.

Probably doesn't matter thou as I am most likely going to use Matt Bentley and I'm pretty sure he's inactive.

Just Wondering.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

Well, you might want to take that picture out now (even if it is good to look at) because Ivanovic got eliminated first round. Safina's loss was just lolzworthy.

Anyway, I agree with Nige and Melvis, take your time and put the show together, work the PPV at the same time.

I need a new signature.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

The two greatest (in my opinion) heel turns in the business/history were Stone Cold at Wrestlemania X7 and Hulk Hogan in WCW.

But what are your favorite heel/face turns in the BTB section?

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I'm probably too new to answer that properly in terms of BTB. However, I did like when Kennedy assaulted Flair at the Rumble in iMac's thread. The only thing is Kennedy, despite getting some pops, was somewhere between a tweener and a heel beforehand.

In terms of actual wrestling, and to flip it slightly I loved the period when the Rock was gradually becoming a face. He was in the 'corporation' at the time but the fans were really starting to cheer for him vehemently.

Oh Alcy.

Personally I don't see a backyard fed working, I mean, hardly any TNA/WCW/ECW feds work as it is, created ones even less than that, so yeah, I don't see it working at all, but you should give it a try if that's what ya wanna do.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

I have a question, which former WWE Superstar do you think could return in the show and then be pushed into the main event just like what happened to Mark Henry's return back in 06/07 that is a way believable? I am thinking of booking Chris Masters in that same level but I still have doubts on it.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread

^^^The only real answer to that question is pretty much anybody as long as you book them right, although more believebly it would be someone/anyone with an imposing presence (having Funaki coming back and dominating is kinda stretchin' it.). Big Show back in '08 comes to mind.

...or were you looking more along the lines of former muscle-clad jobbers/lower midcarders (Henry, A-Train, Snitsky, etc.)?

Masters ain't a bad choice though.
