Some people always found it tough to write promos for him, but I found it really easy with Dave Batista. Then again, I've always found it easy using Big Dave. So easy to write for...

I like doing Cena because its just the same corny stuff all of the time. Miz is another one of my personal favourites, and I've recently found that Mark Henry is quite fun to write promos for.

Yeah I see what you mean with Henry, especially his current gimmick. I like doing Punk alot and one of the (few) highlights of a btb I did a LONG time ago was my heel Orton promo work. I think the best guys are the ones where you don't even really have to think about what they say it just comes natural. In other words, you're never staring at the screen waiting for something to pop into you're head.

Another potential topic (though feel free to continue the previous topic):
What do you do when you write? Do you listen to music, a podcast, a movie in the background, etc.

I usualy just write but often I'll take a break and do other things in the meantime, maybe watch Wrestling on youtube for inspiration of that time period or a match/promo with the person I am writing for ... but never the two at the same time, I get mixed up.

Yeah pretty much the same; I watch a match of who I'm writing to just get a little feel for them. I also think entrance music is good to listen to whilst writing; that way I'm in the wrestling groove and I've got background music.

When im doing matches I have wikipedia open so I have most of there moveset right there, Usually I have itunes open and my music going it keeps me focused cause I need background noise and with the TV noise I get sidetracked easily.

Anybody have a certain gimmick match type they love to do? For me I would say Street Fight's and Ladder Matches those are always fun.

My favorite person to write promos for is Mick Foley. Lots of fun personas to work with and Cactus Jack is always a blast to write.

Often I'll listen to the participants themes before I start writing and then go and then just write in silence.

My favorite match types to write are triple threats and tag team matches since they usually require a lot less resting periods and they allow for lots of fun interactions.

BTB Interview: It will be returning
Favourite people to write for: JBL, CM Punk and Triple H
What I do whilst I'm writing: I'll watch a match/promo of whoever is in the segment before I start writing, then I will write that segment/match in silence. Might have the TV on occasionally
Favourite Match Type: Huge clusterfuck matches - 6 man, 8 man, 10 man+ tags. Battle Royals etc. Whetehr they're good or not is a different story, but I enjoy writing clusterfucks the most.

Helpful Hint:
Instead of Wikipedia, what I do is go to YouTube and type in say "Top moves Daniel Bryan". Numerous lists should come up and they go any where from top ten to even top 100 for some guys. A bunch of people do lists like that and some are really good.
