Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Now seems as good a time as any to ask this. If anybody is interested in taking part in this months BTB Interview then shoot me a PM. I've got two names in mind, but I'd rather people said they wanted to do it before I have to start chasing names. The first two have gone pretty well, so would be nice to keep it going.
But yeah, if you've got a reasonably active thread right now, or even a legend who just wants to give his opinions on the current state of BTB, and you fancy giving it a go, then get in touch.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Seeking a new finisher for Booker T. thats not the Booker End for the 2000 WCW. He's been doing the Harlem Hangover and Ghetto Blaster but I'm looking for a finisher like the Book End that isn't a rip on the Rock. Any suggestions?

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Keep him using the superkick he used to, the side kick he often did. Seems like a good suddem impactful move.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
I know that Booker did a pretty sweet Spinebuster, maybe not as a finishing move but can come out of nowhere to set up the Houston Hangover. But I'd agree with TBG that the sidekick thing would work as well.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Booker used the missile dropkick as a finisher too. In all honesty the Harlem Axe/Scissors kick is the best finisher he's had besides the Harlem Hangover.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
He used the 110th Street Slam for a finisher before the Book End, which was that delayed spinebuster you speak off.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Has anyone ever done an efed style BTB, as in using a mix of wrestlers from various eras and companies, dead or alive with realism and wrestlers traditional place on the card being more or less thrown out the window? I'm getting more into the idea of throwing 30 wrestlers i love together and booking regardless of time periods, do you think this would be something people would like or would they just not be able to look past the huge lack of realism?

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
As long as you're not having dream matches for the sake of having them, then sure why not. As long as you keep the formulaic build up of feuds - The spark, the back and forth, the payoff - then it could work. But if you have The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels, CM Punk vs. Stone Cold and The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar on the first show, just to drawing RATINGZ~! then you may as well not even start it.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
To create some discussion, and just because I'd like to know peoples personal opinions;
When you are reading somebody's show, do you prefer reading a fully detailed written out show, or a recapped version?
Recaps don't take as long, and you get the key points, but unlike the full detailed version, you don't quite get the same atmosphere of a real match/promo, which grasps a readers mind.
What's everyone elses opinion?
