Yeah, idgaf if Sting vs Undertaker won't ever happen at Wrestlemania in a HIAC. If the booking is good and logical, by all means go for it.

There have been a couple of comedic, joke BTBs in the past. Most famous of them was Rawlin's WWE Trolled into Trollhood. Can't remember if he ever posted a show in it or not, but it got a lot of attention, within a few days it had about 20 pages in it where members who weren't normally part of the BTB section came in to laugh at it.

On the topic of realism, I enjoy people that push the boundaries and be creative so to speak, add additions to rosters that normally wouldn't be there, do feuds that normally wouldn't happen but I like everything to be explained.

For example, those threads that pop up where WWE bought TNA out and than suddenly the Raw/SD rosters are full of TNA stars as well and it's 40 guys on each brand, that I am not a fan of. I always enjoyed backstories and reasons for peoplt to come in or changes to happen, you can build on that say- AJ isn't happy with the current direction of TNA and his contract is about to expire etc. I never liked just randomly having them appear in the first post, just seems lazy to me.

The type of attitude I don't like is when somebody does what you've explained, people don't give the thread a chance. To each there own, but I don't give a fuck how loaded/unrealistic your roster is or whatever, if a booker is writing/booking compelling stuff, it'll be better than a majority of the stuff we get in the section nowdays anyway, so I'll read it.

I'm willing to give their thread a chance, I am pretty open minded and they could end up with great booking/writting and I dont care if it's loaded or unrealistic either, I am just saying I prefer a little bit of explaining how it got there.

I still think how they got there is irrelevant. It has absolutely nothing to do with how they are booked or written, which is what we come to the section to do/see.

And I'm not pointing you out but a lot of people who have the same opinion as yours say shit like "oh I couldn't get into it because that guy shouldn't be wrestling for his company." Just more closed minded bullshit from this place.

Trying to work with realism isn't easy. I'm trying it with my thread and it's quite difficult. I'm all for users who don't stick with realism, though. Doesn't bother me but sometimes, a bit of explaining wouldn't go amiss. If someone started a WWE 2011 thread just after WrestleMania and say, AJ Styles, Abyss, Bobby Roode, James Storm & Jeff Hardy were there, it wouldn't hurt to even say they were released by TNA or left TNA when their contracts expired or whatever. Backstory's/Explanation's aren't essential but sometimes it doesn't hurt to explain or briefly address some things.

Over the many projects ive started ive always tried to make things within a relm of at least some type of realistic explanation, as that is how i like to read btbs, but reckon in doing so i probably burn myself out with effort and thought process on that aspect that in end i simply don't make thread last long at all. All that said i may just be without sleep and am trying to excuse my stop start efforts from over years

Sooooo... I'm thinking of starting a new thread following Raw 1000. Seems a great time to usher in a new era with a BTB. Anyone else thinking of going that route?
