When I started my thread I planned only up till SummerSlam. When I got to SummerSlam which is the latest ppv Iíve posted, Iíve planned my ppv cards all the way up till WrestleMania 21. I wanted to do this so it motivates me to continue on with my thread. My goal is to go up till WrestleMania 21. My ppv card line ups are now complete but before I decided to make several changes for my ppv cards. It was just annoying going back and forth changing cards but finally I came up with complete cards for my ppvs up till WrestleMania. Frustrating at the start but overall I enjoyed putting together cards. If I didnít plan till WrestleMania then I wouldnít really have an idea where I would be going in my btb and I wouldnít be interested in continuing on. Future feuds, I havenít planned in great detail but since I know what matches I will book for my ppvs, I have some ideas for what I will do for my future feuds in my btb.

As for tv shows I find it more easier to book on the fly.

Like others, I tend to book on the fly. For every show I'll have a few basic ideas in my head of where I want to go with certain angles/storylines/matches, but they usually don't completely unfold for me until I start typing up the shows. And much of the show is just created in Bischoff-like on the fly fashion. I have a character named Father Dutch who is a sadistic Catholic priest. Originally, I intended for the character to be a comedy heel. But when I started typing his vignettes to introduce him the idea hit me that he would be better as a sinister heel.

In my fictional league I have 6 PPV's a year. After each PPV, I'll start planning the next PPV matches and how I want to get to those matches. However, a few PPV matches are planned a long time ahead. For instance, I knew I was putting my World Title on Greg Valentine at my PPV in Dec. of last year months in advance and I've known for the same amount of time who I will have Valentine drop the World Title to. And I already know who the champion will be after that and where he'll win it. I've got some loose ideas in my mind of where all these things will go. The rest is just filling in the blanks with on the fly booking.

Want a real challenge? Try creating a show to post every week in a 'real time' fashion!

I did that with one of my first threads () well tried to anyway, stuck to it for a good while too. I was convinced, even after reading the rules and other threads that posting shows once a week was what you were supposed to do, how wrong I was.

Anyone ever started writing a big match, clear idea on what you want to happen in terms of finish and result and then into it, not actually knowing who you want to win anymore? Big matches like Title match, retirement match, stuff like that?

Thoughts on use of celebrities in BTBs? Dos and dont's? Good examples of? (Other than the obvious Ricky Hatton in Wolfy's) etc. It's just an idea I'm playing around with at the moment

Has anyone here ever used in their thread Kerwin White? cause I would love to read that.

For the short time that Kerwin appeared on Raw towards the last half of 2005 I really really liked him, and I think he had tremendous ammounts of potential. Kerwin (Chavo) could definately go in the ring, and with this gimmick it could have taken him places, heck it would have taken him to do better things than loose to Hornswaggle every week in 2007/2008. Bummer that he ressorted to going back to Chavo Guerrero after Eddie's passing.

He was a middle age white man who played golf and had Dolph as his caddy. He could have been also borderline racist with his catchphrase - if it ain't white it ain't right. And he could also play onto a gimmick where he would say things that everyone thinks but no one has the guts to say, be the people's person, the average middle aged American. Plus if he did end up winning the US title it would be hillarious.

Would give props to see someone use him properly.

I struggle to write one a month, let alone one a week.

Ugh @ me. I've finally gotten back the booking itch but I just tried to jump into a plan that was way over my head and try to work angles even though I wasn't even watching during that time.

So someone make a long lasting 2001ish thread with the Invasion going. I had ideas but they were just crap on my part and likely wouldn't have made much sense.
