Hi guys, fairly new to this site but have been involved with various fantasy booking projects and I have also written for several e-feds in the past. However, one thing I have not done is started a company completely from scratch ie a roster of my favourite wrestlers with various other backstage personnel involved.

How are those type of threads welcomed on here?

I am also struggling to think of innovative ways to start the company. If any of guys could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

Those type of threads are very much welcomed here, so feel free to start one.

As for a way to start the company, I doubt it will really matter to most people. Readers will be more interested in what you do with regards to the shows you write than the backstory you come up with. But maybe take a look around the section at the many created threads kicking about and draw some inspiration from what you find?

Hope that helps.

A thread in the Classic section reminded me that I've always wanted to see somebody write about Kurt Angle going to ECW instead of WWF.

I agree, it would be pretty interesting to read/book. Booking Angle in ECW would be tonnes of fun. Would like to see a retro ECW thread but the likelyhood of actually seeing one seems pretty slim.

Looks like my Angle thread caught some attention

before my current thread I had some thoughts about a classic ECW thread from the mid - late 90's. They had many guys from other promotions come in and out as well, such as Hall and Lawler for short stints not just Angle and if someone were to put up a backstory where it wasn't just for a shoot promo or an invasion of the monday night wars and they stayed to help out the depth of the roster and ECW's stay as a company, I would be all for it.

Also, you can use the fact that Vince helped out Paul. E a lot back in the day, funding and let him appear on Raw with the roster to help promote their events during 1997. A classic ECW thread which has ECW last past 01' pretty much writes itself.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I am currently in the process of moving house so the shows won't be up for a couple of weeks but I will try and get little bits and pieces up to give you an insight to what I have planned.

Hi guys. My Royal Rumble is finally posted. Take a look!

I'm interested to know what people think of the presentation. I've never really gotten much feedback for my shows for some reason. I've tinkered with the format for this PPV and it's the first time I've ever written a Royal Rumble so was a bit up in the air about how to present it etc ...

Writing a Rumble is hard work!

cheap plugs go into the advertisement thread.

though I do agree writting a Rumble is hard work, I've done two before and they are tiring and usually turn into a clusterfuck. I would write action between two or three wrestlers for like a paragraph and than forget about all the rest that are standing in the ring as if they are doing nothing, it's not easy to keep up with all the action and what is going on though.

I wanted to give context to the question.

That's exactly what I found difficult. Got bogged down in the high teens too, just wanted to get to the exciting finish.

Has anyone ever attempted a ECW mid to late 90s ECW thread and stuck with it for more than one show? Be interesting to read or even book tbh, especially with the likes of Scott Hall actually sticking around rather than just having 2 non-televised appearances.
