I'm completely fine with you taking that over iMac.
Sounds like a good idea to me.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Good good, nice to see some of the veteran names on board too.
The last batch of interviews (late 2010-June2011) conducted by Hulk and Reney featured:
Melvisboy
Wolf Beast
DDMac
Szumi
TKOW
JBWinner
BKB Hulk
Stojy
iMac
Although, I'm sure I remember reading one with Legend? And if I've missed any, then by all means let me know.

Defo agree with that, although let's go for baby steps. Maybe this can lead to that one day.
But yeah, I've got a few names in mind for the first one. I guess everybody bar the list above is welcome to put themselves forward for it too, so PM/post in here/make it known somehow if you're interested. Would be nice to here from somebody who would be available by the end of the month so we can get things kicked off.

Sounds like a great idea, iMac. I had hoped we'd see the interviews again, so often they're entertaining reads.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
All the bookers who have been here for awhile/had good threads seem to already have been interviewed, so it would be interesting to here from some of the, uh, 'lesser known' guys of the section this time around.
Also, I'm all for the newsletter idea and I don't see a reason why we couldn't get cracking on that now. Newsletters don't have to be a monthly thing though, so if we could get somebody to be in charge of the newsletter (I'd do it if nobody else stepped up to the plate), we only need a handful of guys who'd be willing to write a piece, and we could just bring out the newsletter when it's ready.
Oh and Melvis, Extreme Rules sucked.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Yeah, the interviews are nice. As the guy who brought the Newsletter and Interviews here , I can say they usually work to get some views, but be aware that it is very much a process, and takes up a fair amount of your time. It is something that needs to be done every 2x4 months. That's why me, Reney; KOP, Wolfy, DC, and everyone else stopped doing it. It was too much of a workload with everything else we already did.
So go for it, but pace it.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
I had an idea slightly different to the Newsletter. It wouldn't be possible to involve the newer members of the section as much because of the basis of the idea (I'll get to that in a second)...and it'd be based on someone like Szumi, DC, Reney or the like to write it and pull it off...but what the hell, I might as well suggest it anyway.
It's basically similar to a "best of the year" show. You'd have two guys "presenting" it and going through some of the best...and worst matches/promos/segments written over the past year (or, perhaps, from the start of BTB to the current day, but the past year would make the idea more "repeatable" in the future). If possible you could even have several different guys present different segments, rather than just two main presenters. Just to clarify what I'm suggesting is less like us "real" members talking and more like the whole thing being presented with 'characters' like in the old WF BTB.
Just a thought. It'd take some time but if people like it I'd be willing to help. Like I say though, I think it'd only work if certain people wrote it.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Have you ever done monthly top ten lists here on this board? Like for example, the users vote for five or so of their favorite BTBs at the moment, and somebody counts and compiles the results to see which are the most liked. It's supposed to be nothing serious, just for fun. Could be a nice way to give people credit for their work. Just throwing that idea out there...
