4. Do I do play by play for the matches or just kinda do the outcome?

Not to be rude, but the FAQ stickied to the top of this section answers a few of these questions very well I think. As as for what it might not cover, there's nothing wrong with created wrestlers and real ones interacting as far as I know. And to answer the last question, you kinda do what you want. You wanna do play-by-play? Cool. Not? Cool too. Just outcomes? Some might find it lazy, but if it's what you want, that's cool as well.
And just in case you decide to stick around, welcome

In general, what do people think about altering the way you type up your dialogue based on someone's accent? For example, take Wolf Beast's Armando Estrada - The way he puts "Ju" instead of you etc. It could be done for a lot of people; AAE, Carlito and to a certain extent, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Santino Marella etc. I'm not entirely sure whether to use it or not, or whether it would just get annoying and tedious to read?

I think it's a very underrated touch that adds a great deal to a character/promo/situation. I would think it only gets annoying if you don't know what to correctly emphasize and/or get their accent/annunciation wrong. So it's a great thing if done right, and personally I'm not annoyed by it at all, but I can see how it can be.

I agree with this. I'm personally to lazy to do it myself, but it is a good touch, and not annoying, unless done wrong.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Looked around a few guys BTBs for a while now and decided to do one now EPW has disappeared. If I could write something half as good as those that I see around I'll be happy, I'm looking forwards to it.

What do you guys think is the most aesthetically pleasing font to read BTBs?

I'd say Verdana, Tahoma and Sans Serif are the best IMO.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
I wish they had "Cambria" font on this forum; I use it whilst writing in WordPad. It's kind of similar to "Georgia", which is what I tend to use for my threads. However, I still just attach the "Georgia" font to Szumi. Still feel guilty when I use it to this day.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
I'm thinking of starting a thread, but my problem is always that if I don't go fast enough I totally lose interest. So any suggestions as to what would be the best format for a 1000-2000 word show with no matches or promos in full?

Straight away you've dug yourself in a hole.
The point of a BTB is to generally have fun or maybe to express your creative side in a way that incorporates an interest of yours; Pro Wrestling. So if you are having fun and you are expressing your creative side then why would you limit yourself to 1000-2000 words a time? It's almost like saying you love football (soccer for you weirdos) but you only want to play for 20 minutes because you you might get bored. Bad analogy I know but it's the best I could come up with.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Well if I spend a week or two on and off writing a show I'll totally lose interest, wanting to get to the ppv, make a guy champion, start or end a storyline etc. I don't do this because I like writing matches, I want to book good storylines. But I don't want to get into an argument like this, if anyone has suggestions on a format it'd be appreciated
