I'm looking forward to a lot this year. Obviously there's Wolf Beast and Legend's(hopefully) Summerslams. Those two are still right at the very top. Also, really looking forward to imac's Mania which should only be around the corner, he's done an excellent job heading into it and i've no doubts it'll deliver big time. Two of my other favourite threads are 619's and Melvis', so i hope they both continue with those this year and keep building and growing with it. World Ablaze and Extreme Rules should be ones to really look forward to from each of them.

Personally, i feel i've improved from where my thread began early last year and just really hope to continue in the same vein. Target wise, top of my list right now is getting to Summerslam which i would certainly hope to achieve and take it from there. Aside from all that, happy new year to you all!

I really enjoy Kintaro’s thread Road to WrestleMania 20. He’s such an underrated booker, really enjoy his thread and it’s an awesome read. I recommend you guys to check out this great thread. The matches for his shows are just great, presentation is great, the pictures are appealing. The ppvs are top notch, match quality is awesome. The feuds are so enjoyable, characters are just perfect. For example I love how he’s turned Edge heel. I can’t wait for his upcoming shows The Great American Bash, Vengeance and the draft lottery show. I’m really looking forward to most of the matches at the Great American Bash and Vengeance. A lot of top matches I’m interested in such as Edge vs Kurt Angle, Cena vs Kane, Eddie Guerrero vs Booker T, Undertaker vs Mordecai, Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho, HBK vs Ric Flair and Randy Orton vs The Rock.

Also other threads that I enjoy here for BTB's are WWE: A Strong Response by Nige, and It Begins: WWE 2012

I'm looking for a new format, so my question to all of you is; What are your favourite formats for writing shows that you have seen?

I'm glad I could help.

Well the only person I've been reading atm is Wolfy's stuff so his SummerSlam is what I am looking forward to.

Don't really see myself contributing to the BtB section in terms of writing, haha. I'm not really happy with the condition of professional wrestling today and the only stuff I really get enjoyment from watching these days are old All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling matches and Great Muta/Keiji Mutoh matches. Plus college takes up a good portion of my time. Finally, I have a lot of failed attempts of doing BtBs, the best being up to 5 months shows wise, generally due to the fact that my interest in wrestling varies due to my attitude towards today's product in the Western world.

I need to get photoshop back. Seeing a thread with proper graphics is so much more interesting.

Has anyone ever done the opposite of people here, i.e instead of trying to improve a company and leading it into a "new era", you book it into oblivion? I always thought a Vince Russo books modern day WWE done right would be hilarious. Constant World Title switches, SWERVES!~, badly timed heel turns, 'insert random object here' on a pole matches, titles changing hands via lockbox matches, C-list celebrities in main event PPV matches, wrestlers referring to inside information only IWC members know on the air, etc.

Just a little question for me.

I'm not from America so I'm not quite sure what's what in terms of television networks and whatever. Basically, I need a network that would show 2x 90 minute shows a week. The promotion is a brand new promotion and has a few recognizable names but no-one exactly huge. Would show a bit a later at night, maybe about 10/10:30pm? It's not ultraviolent CZW and whatnot, but it isn't PG "lets suck up to the kids" either.

Thanks.

From a readers' perspective, I think it'd be hilarious if it were intentional. From a writers' perspective, I think it could be just rediculously fun. There'd be no such thing as a bad decision. Would defo need the right guy writing though...

Aw what the hell. Would be awesome.

FX and TNT are the first ones to come to mind. VH1 and MTV are also options, but they're more pop-culture based. Especially MTV. This whole WWE Twitter obsession is something they'd be doing. A channel like G4, Bravo, or A&E are other options to mull over and maybe research a little if it means enough to you.
