There's still a good amount of quality throughout the section though with iMac, Legend, Wolfy et al.

Does anyone think it's really hard to find people who can write well for heels? There's only a handful I've seen ever in this section that have crafted a character that you can hate but who can also be right in their motivations and desires. Also, has anyone tried reviewing and analysing a show like a piece of literature? As an English student myself, I would find it very appealing. Just a few general thoughts I'm throwing out there as I expect an upsurge in threads as we head towards Survivor Series.

A really good BTB thread to read is WWE 2004: Road to WrestleMania XX by Kintaro and I just got done reading it, and I must say that week after week this guy's shows are really good and in terms of his PPVs stellar as well. The build-up now towards his King of the Ring pay per view is just getting even more interesting in terms of the matches like for example for the World Heavyweight Championship it will be Chris Benoit defending his title against Triple H in an I Quit Match with so many stipulations. Then the King of the Ring tournament itself which was never occurred back in 2004 and he has bought it back. That has really helped my interest in this btb and the 7 participants that have qualified so far are great selections for the tournament.

He’s made a lot of characters interesting such as Edge by turning him into a psychotic heel. He’s made guys like Val Venis seem important as Val was a jobber at that point but he’s made him into a great US Title contender. Eugene is more fun than he actually was in real life. Mordecai who was not a good character, he’s made him A LOT interesting by aligning him with Kane to feud with The Undertaker. I would really like to see more threads like this that involve great matches, great storytelling and great character booking.

Is this like for a team name? Or just an idea of something to do with them?

What I would say is that make them just a likeable pair if guys that like to party and have fun, and then put them up against a team where they take everything seriously.
