I dont know where to post this.. so ill post it here. but is it against any rules to post a BTB that doesnt contain real wrestlers? ie create our own wrestlers to use instead, wether its just one or two guys in a roster of real wrestlers or a full roster of made up guys?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a roster of created wrestlers. Just good luck on garnering much interest. As for introducing created wrestlers on a roster of existing wrestlers, again, nothing in the rules is against it, but those characters might be tough for readers to get behind.
Long story short, no. Nothing in the rules against either. Just garnering interest might be a problem.
okay haha. its just i've not been following wwe recently, but iv got a little brother who's 6 who's dad has been showing him matches and he likes it so we got an old smackdown vs raw game.. and like, i started making my own roster of just created superstars. im not sure how i'd get interest but i have like, 20 characters created so i'd only need 10-15 more. in all honesty would you read a btb with all created characters?
oh ok i suppose i'd have to do an opening post sort of outlining/profiling all the characters and whether they're low/mid/high carders too? may take a lot of work but it's something i wanna try
the one thing to me that would make me not read is i cannot picture them in my head. Reading BTB i like to envision what i am reading in my head. maybe provide pictures?
Personally, I usually can't get into it, because I don't know how they look and act etc, like OML said. The only time I enjoyed one was one on the EWB forum, and it was a backyard promotion, which lends itself well to unknown wrestlers, plus he was a great writer.
