Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
not really, lotsa new threads popping up in last few days
though in terms of reviews it has been dead because of these reasons:
1. RickRoll'd became busy, he was the person contributing the most in terms of number of reviews he gave
2. I also am having work pressures, i was also commenting on nearly every new booker's thread
3. cab12345 has left the forum i believe, he was also most active in terms of reviewing

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Hmm, when a thread opens starting with a certain event just mere hours after it happened in real life, one could question how much thought actually went into it, instead of just being the first to capitalize on it

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Usually when things like that happen, unless it was open by someone who has proven themselves beforehand it isn't expected to last long let alone get going.

Probably never going to get off the ground much like the one he had with WCW.

I saw that Punk related thread that wen up on Tuesday, and I tried not to be sceptical, but personally before I made the opening post of my thread I had written the first 4 shows.
I'm just sayin'
I don't mean that in a condescending way or that everybody should do it. I did it to decrease the 'pressure' so to speak while I was new to this and more significantly to see how enthusiastic I really was about doing my thread. I think everybody has had ideas in their life (I don't mean just btb related ones) that they are really positive and enthusiastic about for 12 hours after first thinking of them, then the suddenly think the dreaded 'meh' (I don't like that word, but feel it's appropriate in some instances).

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
I also endorse people witting up at least two shows or do some sort of planning ahead before starting a thread to ensure some sort of longevity.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Random Question. What moment in a BTB has shocked you the most. I mean like something that's happened in a thread, not such and such booker returns, Empire sticks to a thread, etc. Most shocking BTB moment in a thread.
I have to go with Randy Orton cashing in on RVD at Wrestlemania in Being the Booker. I was just in shock by it. I just never saw it coming, I was still in shock over RVD winning the match then the Orton thing happened and it was like Omfg. Honestly suprised me more than anything.
Anyway dicuss

Ted Dibiase winning the WWE Championship in my thread [/selfpromotion]
Honestly in my opinion has to be Zack Ryder eliminating Cena in the Royal Rumble in MB's old thread. I have to say secretly I loved it, and Ryder's character in that thread accomplished so much. I really liked him as a character.

Re: The Official BTB Discussion Thread
Okay, so here's the deal.
A Tournament WILL happen. Leeroy has (almost) got his stuff together and hopefully he'll make it succeed. However, we need judges. We need knowledgeable writers and bookers, people who actually know what they're talking about. They also need to be objective when reviewing a match/promo/etc. PM me or Leeroy if you want to help.
KTHX
