I think it can work, but just make sure we have a reliable panel of judges and yeah, don't let non-BTBers in; if they haven't done it before, why start now? I doubt anyone from anywhere else can do a better job than anyone who actually posts in here.

Thanks DC for your words of encouragement. I'm fairly confident on the tournament being a success.

Melvis, the only reason why I'm letting other members sign up is so we have some sort of variety in the tournament. The amount of people entering an entry for the qualifying round is infinite. We can have 5 people, 10 people, 20 people, whatever...but only 8 are advancing to the tournament. If non-BTB people enter, what is to say that they will be good enough to even enter the Top 8? I'm not going to go section to section advertising the tournament. I'll post a link in my sig, as will Dubya (if he chooses to) and that's it. I've been lurking in this section for at least a couple of years, reading what's going on in the Discussion thread, and even in some booker's threads, but I hardly ever post. I don't have much to contribute that hasn't already been said so why spam up the section?

Wolf Beast, Dubya, and BKB have been helping me create this so I'm fairly confident.

felt a bit bored this morning and looked through some old threads in the section and I found one that I think was around 2006/2007 (I closed it a few hours ago and forgot ), pretty much the mod at the time, if I remember right was KOP thought of an idea to help out the newer bookers in the section and have them improve by pairing them up with an experienced and veteran booker in the section by having that person for the next week read their shows and review them giving them insight and criticism to improve.

Did this actually work? Would it work now?
