I'm not sure if it's just me, but the old thread has become an absolute pain in the ass to open due to it trying to take me ten or so pages ahead of the actual last page. So to make it easier, here's a new thread.

Old thread for those of you who wish to refer back: http://www.wrestlingforum.com/booker/510932-official-btb-discussion-thread.html

~ No spamming
~ No arguing
~ Under any circumstances, NO "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!"
~ You can discuss other BTBs here, it's fine. Don't shill your BTB needlessly, however
~ If you have a question regarding "What Should You Do," just go with your gut instinct
~ Use references like google or onlineworldofwrestling for answers to questions you could easily find yourself

Post away.

Guys I'm taking over one brand for my BTB either Raw or Smackdown, as I've not really seen that many single brand BTB's this BTB is set when the Brand Split has returned due to young talent coming up, as you're the people that read who would you like me to take over Smackdown or Raw?

I'm comfortable with both, each would three headline stars. One by be a bigger challenge then the other.

I'm thinking about doing a BTB. I tried one last summer, but some outside forces beyond my control (as over dramatic as that sounds) led to it's demise and I haven't really been motivated to do one again until now. I can't think of what to do though. Past. Present. Create a fed from scratch. Use current roster/setup. I'm at a lost tbh. I would appreciate any suggestions if you'd like.

I figured as much:lol. Just wanted a few suggestions to get the creative ball rolling, so to speak. I have a question though. Do I have to write up a backstory? I went back and read the BTB I did last year and read the backstory and it just seemed too cheesy, contrived and ham-fisted and was needlessly long. I don't want to write up some long, "hoakie" backstory for my this BTB. This BTB is just going to be a trial run to gauge what works, what doesn't, ect. to get things rolling and do something bigger and better down the road if this turns out successful.

I've been thinking about starting my own BTB. I would use an Indy fed and put my own spin on it. I wanted to keep it as close to real world events as I can. In other words, wrestlers who are under WWE or TNA contract would not appear in my fed. For example, Shelton Benjamin was with WWE until April of 2010. If my fed starts in 2008 I would not be able to use Benjamin until my fed lasted till that date, then I could book him for my shows following his WWE release when he started taking independent booking.

I was thinking of using F1RST wrestling. They had a good mix of Indy talent & decent names (Jerry Lynn, Austin Aries, Tyler Black, Sandman, etc) to start off with. Then I would start to bring in other Indy talent or ex WWE/TNA talent when not under contract to build my promotion. And I was thinking of using one of those wrestling simulated games to do in with.

Would any1 read this if I gave it a go

i need some opinions on who people can think in WWE (not on current roster) or available to WWE to get that would be able to take someone like a Ryback, Mark Henry, Big Show etc. out backstage in a sneak attack and make it look legitimate was thinking Matt Morgan but anyone in NXT that would also fit this persona as well.

Not been a lot of talk in this, so I thought I'd bring up something which I've noticed lately.

A serious question: When was the last time any request in the BTB Graphics Thread was made? I try to help out when I can, but I thought if we were gonna have it, is there anybody who is willing to have a look at requests and help out? Granted, there ain't a lot of requests as of late, but quite frankly I think the only reason for that is because people don't think it's worthwhile. So yeah. Any esteemed graphic makers wanna try and get that thread running again? Does anybody else think it's even worthwhile?

Thoughts?

Why don't you format it during your writing in Word or Wordpad? That's what I do. I'm surprised most people here don't, judging by the amount of times I've seen this statement posted here. Formatting the show while you're writing is so much better than formatting it while posting on the forum.
