TNA Wrestling - Heyman vs Bischoff/Hogan....Take a side
It's been awhile since I've posted on here, about 2 years but I am really excited to be back and present to you my new project. So here's the backstory, I hope you enjoy.

A Fresh Start
September 5th, 2010 - One day after No Surrender TNA shocks the wrestling world when it is confirmed that Paul Heyman will be joining TNA after months of speculation whether he would or not. All Impact tapings are unexpectedly called off and Impact will feature replays of best matches for the time being.
September 6th, 2010 - It is revealed that Dixie Carter has given Paul Heyman full creative control over TNA in every aspect.
September 8th 2010 - Paul Heyman posts a message to all TNA fans on TNA.com and Heymanhustle.com saying "Forget everything you have come to know of TNA over the past months.....A new day in Total Nonstop Action wrestling is here, and I promised thing's will be done right this time.
September 10th 2010 - It is revealed that Paul Heyman will officially restart TNA wrestling starting at Bound For Glory on October 10th, exactly one month from now. Until then Paul and everyone at TNA will be working nonstop to make sure they give what the fans want this time.
September 13th, 2010 - Although many people at TNA are very excited about Heyman coming in it is said that Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan are not happy with what is going on, however it is said both will stick it and help TNA and Heyman in anyway possible mainly due to the side projects Bischoff now has with Spike by working with TNA. Also both have major respect for Dixie Carter and want to help her make TNA succeed.
September 17th 2010 - All champions are declared vacant. Rumors begin surfacing that Dixie Carter held a meeting with Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, and Vince Russo to discuss the future of TNA and that Eric, Vince and Hulk are all on the same page as Heyman and ready to help out in anyway possible.
September 21st, 2010 - Paul Heyman gives a interview saying how the homegrown talent of TNA have been screwed over in the past with new names being brought in each week and taking their spots. Paul promises to put more focuse on TNA original talent and make them stars that they should already be.

This has potential, but so does every other TNA thread that pops up along the way. I do like the idea of using the TNA tallent that was already there, but you still need some new star power too. Looking forward to Bound For Glory to see how things shake out.

Re: hitman presents TNA Wrestling..........A Fresh Start
Given the fact its Heyman and there is a so called focus on homegrown talent, I'm somewhat surprised by some of the releases, I mean firstly Heyman wouldn't get rid of guys like Raven, Rhino and Richards imo, not simply because of the ECW connection but because he would know they could aid the homegrown talent and be useful members of the roster still, even if it was for only a short time. Then secondly, I'm no big fan of Eric Young but his long tenure in the company would be something that would be weird to simply disregard and not utilise in some way shape or form, even if he was used a only a jobber, every roster needs known chumps.
On the tourney contenders, I can understand and quite like idea of Beer Money being involved, but to suddenly throw a guy into contention like Wolfe, whom has not been doing well at all in terms of kayfabe wins/losses and isn't particularly homegrown, well that's not something I agree with or dig. A guy like Kazarian or Jarrett even probably would have worked better imo, but I expect you are high on Wolfe and want him involved in upper end of market immediately, personally I feel a build back to top may have suited him far greater.

Re: hitman presents TNA Wrestling..........A Fresh Start
I was also quite surprised at some of your roster cuts. I would think that TNA would keep Raven, Rhino, Rob Terry and Eric Young. All four men still have something to offer TNA. Rob Terry, if done right could potentially be the next Brock Lesner in wrestling. That being said, I know how it is to have a talent pool and not actually have a need for many of the wrestlers on your BTB.
You're tournament looks interesting for Bound For Glory. I hope you intend on using guys like Kurt, RVD, Hardy, and Anderson in other matches on the card.
So far your layout for the thread is great, easy to read, and enjoyable. Looking forward to more announcements soon.

Hulk Hogan's staying around? What a disappointment.
Also, Heyman did say that the 40+ year olds were getting their fucking heads chopped off, so yeah.

Re: hitman presents TNA Wrestling..........A Fresh Start
I agree with what was said above. No way Heyman would cut Raven and Rhino or Richards for that matter. Terry has a ton of potential. Im not big on Young but a lot of people are. Anyway I dont see Heyman cutting them.
As far as the title tournement I agree with everyone in there except for Beer Money. They are too good of a tag team to be in singles competition IMO.

Re: hitman presents TNA Wrestling..........A Fresh Start
BREAKING NEWS
October 1st, 2010 - Jeremy Borash and TNAwrestling.com is reporting that all is not well in TNA. A private meeting will be held today between Dixie Carter, Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, and Vince Russo. Many thought at first this meeting was held to discuss the future of TNA and the upcoming ppv but however sources are comfirming that Dixie Carter called for this meeting to clear up some problems Paul Heyman is having with Bischoff, Hogan, and Russo. Earlier reports said everyone was on the same page but however we believe that is not true at all. Heyman was said to be upset after not being informed that TNA was going to release several talents. We can confirm that Heyman did request that Dixie Carter clear up some room on the roster and release unused talent like Eric Young, Rob Terry, Shark Boy, and Orlando Jordan but the others (Raven, Rhino, Richards) were a request made by Bischoff and Hogan and Heyman now feels it was only done to try and prove a point that they still have Dixie's ear.
-------------------------------------------------------------
October 2nd, 2010 - We can confirm that Paul Heyman has walked out on TNA and has refused to work with Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan any longer. Heyman is furious that Dixie Carter is still letting Hogan and Bischoff have some authority after promising him 100% creative control. Heyman wanted final say in all aspects of TNA but that is not happening. All we know is Paul Heyman stormed out of the meeting yesterday after only 45 minutes and Dixie Carter is still trying to work things out but we believe Heyman will not return until Hogan and Bischoff are officially gone from TNA.
Octbober 3rd, 2010 - TNAwrestling.com has announced some changes for the TNA World title tournament at Bound for Glory. Hernandez, Desmond Wolfe, Jay Lethal, and both members of Beer Money have been removed from the tournament and will be replaced by Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, The Pope, Jeff Hardy and Sting. This is A decision made by Bischoff and Hogan after the original selections which were made by Paul Heyman.
October 4th, 2010 - Dixie Carter has informed TNAwrestling.com that Paul Heyman is still expected to be at Bound for Glory and to continue to work with TNA. She has not spoken with Heyman since he stormed out of the meeting the other day however but he is contracted obligated to appear at BFG. When asked about Hogan and Bischoff she said they are not going anywhere. She also denies reports of division in the locker room between talent but many feel this is just Dixie trying to make everything sound alright when it really isn't. Just 6 days away from the biggest ppv of the year does not look like everyone in TNA are on the same page, or even the same book but the show must go on and Bound for Glory will still take place on 10.10.10.
Thanks for all the comments so far, hope you continue reading. I promise the BFG preview will be posted soon but as you can see my background story is making it be pushed back. I will also be reviewing some other BTB's today especially those who have given me some feedback.

Re: hitman presents TNA Wrestling..........A Fresh Start
This is a very interesting backstory. You're creating a lot of tension behind the scenes, which is adding suspense to the story. I'm liking what I'm reading. The changes to the tournament are great with on minor problem for me. I just prefer Jay Lethal over the Pope, but oh well. I know you've probably have a better use for Lethal somewhere else. Thanks for you latest update.
