WWE - Changes Are Gonna Come

Okay, I've made my decision to return to the BTB section, and this time stay with it. I'm going to do a present WWE BTB, and here's some info:

- After posting this opening post I will post the results from Money In The Bank. After that I will be posting recapped shows to tell you what happened week after week on the weekly shows leading up to SummerSlam, so therefor there probably won't be any previews. SummerSlam will then be my first actual show.

- No changes like GM's, releases, Pay-Per View names etc has been made. Except two things... WWE Superstars has officially been scrapped, and so has the Guest GM-thing, so that from now on there's only the Anonymous GM. So I will do RAW, NXT and SmackDown.

NXT Recap

July 6th

- Kaval defeated Lucky Cannon
- Alex Riley defeated Michael McGillicutty

Re: WWE - Changes Are Gonna Come

As promised, here's my Money In The Bank results

(It was actually written yesterday, before the actual real life show)

Money In The Bank

Unified Tag Team Championship
The Hart Dynasty (c) vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso

Outcome: The Hart Dynasty retained as Tamina distracted the referee while Jimmy and Jey went to illegally double team David Hart Smith, but when Smith ducked the attack, and Kidd managed to pull down top rope sending Jey over and out, Jimmy was set up for the Hart Attack which gave David Hart Smith the win for The Hart Dynasty

Women's Championship
Layla (c) vs. Kelly Kelly

Outcome: After a even and decent match, Kelly Kelly had the match won after hitting the K2. But as she went for the cover she was attacked by Michelle McCool, causing a disqualification. Tiffany quickly made the save for Kelly Kelly, but Layla left still WWE Women's Champion.

RAW Money In The Bank
Randy Orton vs. John Morrison vs. Mark Henry vs. Evan Bourne vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. The Miz

Outcome: In a match that like all other previous Money In The Bank matches saw a lot of high points with finishers from both high and low points, we saw a couple of superstars getting really close to unhooking the briefcase. First Edge, who was taken down by a huge Pelé Kick from John Morrison. Then later on John Morrison got really close, but as he got his hands on the briefcase, Ted DiBiase caught up to from behind and hit the Dream Street on Morrison from the top of the ladder. But in the end there were three superstars to be seen in the ring. Evan Bourne who was hanging from the briefcase, Randy Orton on one ladder right beside Bourne, and Edge on another ladder. But as Edge realized that he was too far away from the briefcase, he found himself in a position where ha realized that he could take down Orton, or he could take down Bourne. Edge was furious, but in the end he made a decision, taking down Orton with a huge Spear, giving Evan Bourne enough time unhook the briefcase, giving Bourne the biggest win of his career, as he could now call himself Mr. Money In The Bank

SmackDown Money In The Bank
Big Show vs. Matt Hardy vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler

Outcome: Just as the first Money In The Bank match of the night, this was an intense match with lots of high points, although the two big men Big Show and Kane slowed down the match a bit. The match saw Dolph Ziggler coming very close to unhooking the briefcase twice. First time the ladder was knocked down by Matt Hardy, but the second time Ziggler got knocked out by Big Show's right hand. Also Drew McIntyre got very close, but just as he got his hands on the briefcase, Kofi ran straight up a ladder that was leaning towards the ladder McIntyre was standing on, and then hit a huge Trouple In Paradise on "The Chosen One", sending them both down hard. But in the end we saw Matt Hardy and Christian battling it out on a ladder. Hardy got the final laugh as he nailed Christian with a Twist of Fate all the was down to the mat. But that last laugh was quickly replaced with a look of disbelief, because while being down Cody Rhodes, who hadn't really been a part of the match because he was hiding, quickly made his way into the ring and up the ladder and unhooked the briefcase before anyone could do anything about it.

WWE Divas Championship
Alicia Fox (c) vs. Eve

Outcome: Eve was set to get back the Divas Championship after she was cheated into believing that Alicia Fox was injured during her rightful rematch on RAW two weeks ago. And after a decent divas match, Eve did just that as she ducked Fox's attempt to hit the Axe Kick, and rolled her up for the three count to regain the Divas Championship.

World Heavyweight Championship
Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Jack Swagger

Outcome: It was quickly clear to everyone that Mysterio wasn't 100 % ready for this match, and Swagger took advantage of that, as he tried to lock in the dangerous Ankle Lock several times. Mysterio tried to hit the 619 a couple of times, but his ankle wouldn't let him, as he simply couldn't run. In the end he finally managed to catch Mysterio in the Ankle Lock, but Mysterio quickly and surprisingly rolled out of it, sending Swagger into ropes. This time Mysterio managed to hit the 619 although he was grabbing his ankle in pain right after. He eventually got to his feet and managed to hit the Springboard Splash for the win. After the match Mysterio couldn't celebrate as he was in two much pain, and suddenly the music of the new Mr. Money In The Bank, Cody Rhodes, hit, but apparently just for Cody to let his presence be known as he walked out on the stage, raised the briefcase, looked in the mirror and then left again.

WWE Championship
Steel Cage
Sheamus (c) vs. John Cena

Outcome: A grueling match with both superstars having up's and down's. None of the superstars actually tried to get a quick win by trying to escape, as they both had something to prove. Lacking towards the end of the match, Cena caught Sheamus and locked in the STF. Sheamus had nowhere to go, but suddenly The Nexus (without Darren Young) came down the ramp and surrounded the ring. Suddenly they all started to climb up the cage, and Cena looked as if he didn't know whether to let go so he could defend himself or not. In the end as the first members of The Nexus made their way over the top and into the cage, Cena let go of Sheamus and first attacked Heath Slater and then Justin Gabriel. But as all members got inside, the numbers game caught up. All six attacked Cena, and eventually he got hit with both Otunga's Verdict, and the with Barrett's Wasteland. Sheamus made his way to his feet, and then looked surprised as he turned around to see all six members of The Nexus starring at him. Sheamus looked at them, then towards the top of the cage, then at The Nexus again. But then Wade Barrett said something to him, and then pointed at Skip Sheffield and then at the door. Sheffield opened the door, and then The Nexus spread up, making a path for Sheamus. Sheamus looked very insecure, but he started walking towards the door. Sheamus looked to get away with it, but as he reached the ropes and stared smiling, Barrett grabbed him by the shoulder which made Sheamus look very concerned. But Barrett only told him "Remember this", and then let him go. Sheamus exited the cage through the door, and thereby retaining the WWE Championship.

Quick Results

The Hart Dynasty defeats Jimmy & Jey Uso to retain the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships

Kelly Kelly defeats Layla by DQ, Layla retains the Women's Championship

Evan Bourne defeats Randy Orton, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Ted DiBiase, Chris Jericho, Edge and United States Champion The Miz to become Mr. Money In The Bank on RAW

Eve defeats Alicia Fox to become the new Divas Champion

Re: WWE - Changes Are Gonna Come

July 19th, 2010

RAW was opened by WWE Champion Sheamus, who started bragging about still being the WWE Champion after last night's Steel Cage match at Money In The Bank. Sheamus talked about how he took down John Cena by himself, and closed the John Cena-chapter in his life for good. Cena soon came out to the ring and actually congratulated Sheamus on his win. He then questioned the fact that Sheamus just said that he did it by himself, but it Cena's own words: "Anyway"... Cena then said that one good thing could actually come out of this. Although he still wants the WWE Championship back, he can now direct his full attention on the group that cost him the win last night... The group that has done everything in its power to make his life a living hell the past weeks... The Nexus!! Suddenly The Nexus' music hit and out came Wade Barrett. Barrett talked about how he time and time had told Cena that what happened in the first weeks was nothing personal, but Cena chose to make it personal himself. Cena chose this himself. He could have chosen to look forward and lot let him be bugged by the past. Cena then interrupted Barrett shouldn't use his strength on talking, because Barrett had Cena's word that no matter how long it would take, no matter where and when, no matter if he had to do it alone or with an army of his own, and no matter if he had to take them all on... again... or if he'd get to them one by one, he would destroy The Nexus, and not rest before it was done! Barrett's expression changed a bit and then said that if that was what Cena wanted, then that's what Cena would get. And just then the rest of The Nexus, also with Darren Young returning, walked out on the stage, and all seven of them started walking down to the ring. Cena prepared himself for a fight, but behind him Sheamus started to look a bit insecure of the situation. The Nexus surrounded three of the four sides of the ring. As they all got up on the apron, Sheamus took a look at his WWE title with a desperate expression on his face. But then suddenly Sheamus smiled and then he whacked Cena in the back of the head with the title and then slowly excited the ring and stood outside the ring by the announce table. The Nexus entered the ring and surrounded Cena and started yelling at him to get up and fight them. As Cena tried to get to his feet, Justin Gabriel kicked him in the stomach which led to a 7-on-1 attack. In the end, Wade Barrett hit The Wasteland on Cena , and then The Nexus left Cena lying as they walked to the back.

Sheamus once again entered the ring, took a look at Cena and then smiled. He then asked for a mic and stated that if Cena or anyone else hadn't already guessed it, Sheamus had been smart enough to find Barrett before last night's Steel Cage match, and talked man to man with him, and agreed on something Cena should've agreed on a long time ago... A truce! So Sheamus stated that Cena, and everyone else, would just have to deal with the fact that Sheamus would be WWE Champion for a very long time. With that said, Sheamus raised the title high, but then the music of Evan Bourne hit, and Sheamus' face expression changed as Mr. Money In The Bank walked out on the stage with the briefcase held high for everyone to see. Bourne also brought a mic with him, and from the stage he told Sheamus that yesterday he got the biggest win of his career. And unfortunately for Sheamus, that means that from tonight and up to a year from now, everytime Sheamus steps into the ring, or even sets foot on WWE ground, he will think in the back of his mind: "Will this be the last day as WWE Champion?". Because Bourne promised everyone that when he cashes in the Money In The Bank briefcase, he will become WWE Champion. Bourne then left again, and then Sheamus, with a odd look on his face, exited the ring to leave. But then the email-sound was heard, and Michael Cole took the stand. He quoted: "Sheamus, congratulations on still being WWE Champion. But you might wanna take a look at what's coming up next, because up next we will have a Triple Threat match to determine who will compete for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. And as far as The Nexus goes, tonight for the first time we will see if they indeed are as good equally as they are combined, as Wade Barrett takes on Mark Henry, with the rest of The Nexus banned from ringside". Sheamus look concerned, but then kept on walking to the back.

Match 1
Triple Threat
Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Ending: With Orton outside the ring, Edge went for a Spear on Jericho. Jericho avoided it and then hit a Codebreaker on Edge, but only for Orton to slide in and hit an RKO on Jericho for the win.

Backstage Sheamus was seen with a concerned look on his face as he watched Orton celebrate on a monitor.

As RAW returned, it was time for the second match of the night.

Match 2
Jey Uso w/ Jimmy Uso and Tamina vs. Primo

Ending: After a decent effort from Primo, Jey Uso pinned Primo after a Splash.

After the match Jimmy and Tamina entered the ring, and the Uso Brothers started talking about how they were robbed out of the Unified Tag Team Championships last night, referring to the referee not watching as Tyson Kidd pulled the ropes down for Jey to go over the top rope and outside the ring, leading to the Hart Attack for the win. Jimmy took the mic to state that they wanted a rematch, but before he could finish that sentence, both Jey and Jimmy was attacked from behind, and surprisingly the attackers turned out to be SmackDown's Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer. Hawkins quickly threw Jey out of the ring, and after a short 2-on-1 attack while Tamina was watching if Jey was alright, Archer planted Jimmy with the Cold Rush DDT. Hawkins quickly climbed a turnbuckle, but before he could hit the HeatSeeker, Jey managed to slide into the ring scare him off. Archer and Hawkins walked up the ramp while smiling at the fact that they've just made a statement, as Jey challenged them to come back, while Tamina checked on Jimmy.

Backstage Josh Matthews had caught up with Wade Barrett outside The Nexus' locker room. Josh asked Barrett how he felt about having to face "The World's Strongest Man" all by himself tonight. Barrett answered that he had absolutely no problem with it, because as said before, The Nexus is just as good equally as they are combined, and tonight would not have a pleasant ending for Mark Henry.

Match 3
Alicia Fox and Jillian vs. The Bella Twins

Ending: After some back and forth action between The Bella Twins and mostly Jillian, the match ended as Alicia Fox hit the Axe Kick on Brie for the win.

After the match Alicia Fox got on the mic and informed that next week she will take use of her mandatory rematch for the Divas Championship, which she intended to take back.

After the match we once again went backstage as Josh Matthews was standing ready with the WWE Champion Sheamus. Josh asked Sheamus why he had engaged a truce with The Nexus, and Sheamus' answer was that he was just smarter than John Cena, and he once again proved that. He then kept on talking about the mistakes Cena made regarding Nexus and regarding Sheamus himself, but Sheamus suddenly stopped talking as Randy Orton walked into picture. Orton said that Sheamus could stop talking about John Cena now and The Nexus now, because now he has a bigger problem. Because Orton doesn't care who's champion at SummerSlam. Because whether it's Sheamus, Evan Bourne or anyone else for that matter, Orton intends to end SummerSlam with an RKO and walk out the new WWE Champion. The scene faded out as Orton was starring a hole in Sheamus who didn't back down.

After the commercials The Miz' music hit in the arena, and the United States Champion walked to the ring and got a mic. Miz said that last night's Money In The Bank Pay-Per View was a disgrace. Not only because of the fact that a guy like Evan Bourne won the RAW Money In The Bank match, but because The Miz himself didn't. He talked about how he was destined to be the first ever to hold both the United States Championship and the WWE Championship at the same time, but Evan Bourne ruined that for him. Just then, the email-sound hit again, and once again Michael Cole took the stand. He quoted: "Miz, you should stop worrying about last night, and start worrying about tonight, because right now you're going to be in action". Miz first seemed furious about it, but then gut ready and he could be heard saying: "Well then come on... Come on"... And just then R-Truth's music hit, and The Miz' expression changed drastically.

Match 4
The Miz vs. R-Truth

Truth rushed to the ring and attacked Miz. Truth was all over Miz who finally managed to get some space as he slid outside the ring, but Truth just slid outside as well and started chasing Miz. Miz wanted nothing to do with Truth as grabbed his United States Championship and rushed up the ramp, while Truth was seen almost boiling with revenge on his mind.

Match 5
Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry

Ending: Henry was the man in charge or most of the match taking it to Barrett, and each time Barrett tried to get some offense going, Henry just shook it off. But in the end Barrett managed to catch Henry off guard, and some way some how got him up and hit the Wasteland for the win.

After the match the rest of The Nexus came to the ring to congratulate their leader on his win, but first Henry was pushed from the ring to the outside by Barrett. As The Nexus congratulated Barrett, John Cena's music suddenly hit to the surprise of The Nexus. Cena look battered and bruised as he walked out on the stage holding a mic. He saluted the fans as always, before he raised the mic. Cena said that once again The Nexus got to him, and both last night and tonight it was proven that there was nothing he could do. Not only did The Nexus prevent him from getting the WWE Championship, which they first cost him in the first place, back, but tonight they also attacked him again after engaging a truce with WWE Champion Sheamus. Cena seemed all down and almost looked like he had given up. Cena told The Nexus that they might be the strongest alliance in WWE history. But like he has told them before, he would take them down one by one or all of them at once, with help or by himself. The Nexus started yelling at him to bring it. "Fortunately", Cena said, "I've found some help"! The Nexus kept on yelling and inviting Cena in. Cena told them that he had managed to find a group of guys, agree to form a team, and that team will be the team to take down The Nexus. At SummerSlam!!

The Nexus looked a bit confused. Cena pointed towards the entrance, and suddenly the music of John Morrison hit. Morrison walked down the ramp and stood by Cena. Then the music of R-Truth hit, and R-Truth walked out. Barrett tried to calm down his troops in the ring. Next hit Mr. Money In The Bank Evan Bourne's music, as Bourne stormed out on the stage and walked down the ramp. Then the music of The Great Khali hit, and now The Nexus started to look very concerned. Khali walked down and stood beside the rest of the team. Cena showed by holding up two fingers that only two was left... Suddenly the music of Mark Henry hit again, and he stood up from where he landed when Barrett pushed him out of the ring... Barrett looked pretty concerned now, but still tried to calm down the rest of The Nexus. "One left, Cena said, and then pointed towards the entrance. Everyone waited, and then it was heard: "Time To Play The Game"!!! The fans went crazy, and so did The Nexus but in a totally different way, as "The Game" Triple H returned to RAW and walked out on the stage and walked down the ramp. He looked at Cena and nodded, and then all seven superstars stormed towards the ring, which for the first time made The Nexus run for their lives, as they all exited the ring as quick as they could and fled through the crowd. Team Cena stormed the ring almost catching two members of The Nexus, but could only watch and yell towards The Nexus as they assembled again under the rafters amongst the fans. The show ended with both teams yelling and pointing at one another.

Quick Results:

Randy Orton defeats Chris Jericho and Edge to become new #1 Contender

Jey Uso defeats Primo

Alicia Fox and Jillian defeats The Bella Twins

The Miz vs. R-Truth (No Contest)

Wade Barrett defeats Mark Henry

Re: WWE - Changes Are Gonna Come

Good show to start off.

- Good to see a SD tag team on Raw for a change.
- Orton against Sheamus should be good, will be intersting to see how you do it differently to how WWE are playing it right now.
- The Bellas on Raw? Glad they got beat though.
- With a good ending also.
And good recap show all round, await your next one

Re: WWE - Changes Are Gonna Come

Alright show...

Didn't like Triple H as the last member of Team Cena...I think Triple H's return could've been built up better
Why is the Miz so scared of R-Truth...I think it would've been a solid match had it actually been a contest

I agree, Triple H's return could have been build up better, but still... Imagine the reaction if he returned this way in real life. Hope to make it up to you with what I've got in store for him

And Miz injured Truth before Money In The Bank remember And he wasn't prepared for a match. That's why I chose to write it like that.

Thanks for the feedback though Highly appreciated.

Re: WWE - Changes Are Gonna Come

For a recap show it was pretty good. HHH's return like that would have been pretty cool, and gotten a huge reaction, although maybe if he was gonna return at this time it would have been better to have him face Sheamus at Summerslam, still Orton isnt a bad opponent for Sheamus either. Aren't the Uso's and Primo heels? So wouldnt that have been a heel v heel match? Correct me if I'm wrong Good show and good luck

Thanks for the feedback, and yeah like I wrote at the top in the opening thread, I'm going to do recapped shows up until SummerSlam. Mostly because I want to get ahead of WWE so I won't end up copying some of their things like I did on this first RAW.

And as far as Primo goes... Now that Carlito is gone, I'm going to use him as a face. Probably mostly to fill cards, at least in the begining

Oh and by the way everyone... NXT will be up tomorrow. You can see how the rookies has been doing so far, and who has been eliminated, in the opening post
