In the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania 26, all seemed well. People enjoyed what they saw on TV, they were captivated by the colorful characters entertaining them every week, and they waited with eager anticipation for the arrival of the biggest show of the year. However, whilst this was the state of play in front of the cameras and in audiences homes, there was something entirely different going on backstage, trouble was brewing.
Wrestling dirt sheets hadn't even picked up on it, but rest assured they were there. Budget, and funding problems, lots of them. Vince McMahon had made a speech to his advertisers stating that he was going to make the product "edgier" and "take more risks" after Wrestlemania. This was not what the advertisers wanted to here, and many of them pulled out. This left him with alot of trouble to deal with, as suddenly he needed money, and fast. First thing he had to do was take out some of his broadcasting, he knew that would save him enough money to keep the company going. So, on February 24tth, Vincent Kennedy McMahon came out live on Monday Night Raw and announce the closure of Friday Night Smackdown, as well as the developmental NXT on the 24th April 2010. This would leave only one brand. With this would come many releases from the company, but a few new names were drafted in.
Along with this announcement, Vince McMahon received news backstage. He had heard that a mystery benefactor had offered to fund Monday Night Raw, as long as he was allowed to be made General Manager of the show. Vince, with no other options, granted his wish. So, on April 26th, the night after Extreme Rules, a new dawn in WWE will be born. The United States and Intercontinental Championships have been scrapped, as well as the Divas Championship. To replace these, two new titles have been created, The Television Championship and The Cruiserweight Championship. Each of these will be awarded for the first time at WWE Unified, a new PPV concept created to herald the arrival of this new era. Yes, it seemed that on April 26th everything was going to change, and wrestling fans all over the world knew it.
Onscreen, things had been building up to this change for a while, from Wrestlemania onwards. Jack Swagger had won the Money In The Bank and cashed it in on Chris Jericho a week later. However, at Extreme Rules in a triple threat steel cage match also featuring Edge, Jericho won his title back. Meanwhile on Raw John Cena triumphed over Batista and retained his WWE Championship. Rey Mysterio and CM Punk's rivalry had only heated up in this time, growing more and more intense every week, and Sheamus destroyed Triple H at Extreme Rules, putting him on the shelf for months. Now, with these brands uniting, all these heated relationships will have to find a way to operate together. New alliances could be formed and new rivalries could be created, especially with new superstars joining the company from rival promotions, and most of all the wild card that is the new mystery general manager.
But rest assured, the general manager has assured he will reveal himself on this historic April 26th edition of Monday Night Raw, and Vince McMahon assures us that we could never see it coming.

In this revolutionary episode of monday night Raw, everything is going to change with this dawning of a new era. Many faces have gone, and there are some new ones joining the roster. But what can we expect from this historic episode?
Both Chris Jericho and John Cena were victorious at Extreme Rules last night, capturing the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship respectively. Now, with only one show, the two of them will have to battle it out to be the top dog. On monday night, Chris Jericho will confront John Cena!
The General Manager is the center of the world on Monday Night Raw. He makes the decisions, books the matches, and can make or break the career of any superstar. On monday night Vince McMahon will announce the new general manager, who has even more control than usual, as he is also helping to fund the WWE!
And as well as this you can expect the usual top-class wrestling from the WWE Superstars. Including Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison in a triple threat match, where the winner becomes a contender for the television title!
All this and much more this monday night! Join J.R. and Matt Striker then!
Looks like you have something going here...like the backstory...would've maybe liked to see the intercontinental championship stay and leave out the cruiserweight championship...Like the one brand angle...Like how John Cena and Jericho are fighting for the top...Looks good keep it up
This Show is a collaboration of three writers. Charlie (MyDeerHunter), Kakes, and Connon (Connon).
J.R.: Good evening and welcome to Monday Night Raw!
Matt Striker: My name is Matt Striker, I’m here with J.R., and this is going to be a historic night for Monday Night Raw.
J.R.: It sure is Matt, new championships, new contenders, new signings, and most exciting of all, a new general manager, I can’t wait, and I know you can’t either.
Matt Striker: I sure can’t J.R.
Matt Striker: Woah! And what a way to start the show, the WWE Champion John Cena!
Cheers erupt around the arena as John Cena appears, smiling, with the WWE Championship over his shoulder. He salutes the crowd then runs down to the ring, jumping to his feet and taking a microphone left for him in the ring. He waits for the cheers to die down and his music to fade out, then talks.
John Cena: Well well, looks like I did it huh?
The crowd applaudes once more.
John Cena: For those of you who have not heard, let me inform you. The Champ! Is! Still! …here. And let me tell you something WWE Universe, it feels great to finally put this Batista thing behind me. I said that he couldn’t challenge for my title again if he lost at Extreme Rules, and he did. He quit. You all heard him didn’t you?
The crowd cheers on command and shouts their approval of the champion.
John Cena: So no doubt he’s going to come out here in a minute and complain that it wasn’t fair what I did and how he should get his rematch. But you can all back me up when I say that he had his shot and he wasted it. So how about someone knew huh? You all wanna see that don’t you, a new competitor. Because after all, this is a new era. No more Smackdown! I can’t believe it! Smackdown is where I made my name, I’d be nothing without that place. But hey, this is all about embracing the new, not about retreading the old. So do we all wanna see something new?
Evidently, the people do, and they cheer incredibly loudly. So much so it knocks John Cena off focus for a second, but he regains his composure.
John Cena: Wow, well it’s good that I do to then…
J.R.: Eurgh, we know who this is...
Chris Jericho emerges to a chorus of boos with the World Heavyweight Championship around his shoulder. He stays at the top of the ramp holding a microphone.
Chris Jericho: Hold on there champ. You’re not the only title holder on the show tonight. No, last night at Extreme Rules I defeated that nobody Jack Swagger as well as that lunatic Edge to win back my World Heavyweight Championship. I put my body through hell to get my title and what do I get? Bumped from the opening of the show so you can make the same speech you always do. We get it, the champ is here, blah blah blah, want some come get some, blah blah blah. So why don’t you step aside junior and let the real champion have the floor.
John Cena laughs as Chris Jericho walks down the ramp towards the ring.
John Cena: Junior? Junior!? I thought that was something I got over a long time ago. Now I know that you wanna brag about winning the championship and I’m happy for you, I am. But we’re on the same show. This is Monday night Raw. And although I learned the ropes on Smackdown, now, in 2010, on Monday nights I’m in charge!
Jericho stepped through the middle rope and into the ring.
Chris Jericho: Is that right huh? We’re both world champions, you aren’t any more important than me. However, I was the first ever undisputed champion, I’ve won the title five times, and I’ve been in this business a lot longer than you have, so I guess that means I’m in charge
John Cena: Yeah, yeah, everybody wants to see that don’t you. Does the WWE Universe want to see Chris Jericho?
The crowd boos accordingly.
John Cena: Or does the crowd want to see The Champ?
The fans make themselves heard, they clearly preferred Cena.
Chris Jericho: Well I don’t care what they say, I’m the champion and I’m opening the show.
The two of them squared off and walked very close to one another, staring into each other’s faces.
John Cena: Oh yeah, well this WWE Championship says that I’m the one opening.
Chris Jericho: I won the title last night, I deserve it!
The two of them almost butted heads they were so close to one another, both of them suddenly enraged.
The crowd roared in appreciation for the arrival of the Chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon. He performed his trademark strut out into the arena with a wide smile on his face. He stood at the top of the ramp with a microphone in his hand.
Vince McMahon: John! Chris! Both of you, calm down.
The two title holders still looked furious, but turned to face the chairman.
Vince McMahon: Now you two, I know you’re thinking about which one of you is the true champion of WWE, now that there is only one show. But I’m afraid that neither of you are important enough to open the show this week. No, this week is the time for something special. This is the new dawn for the WWE, everything is changing, and I have an Important announcement to make. John, Chris, your fate will be revealed no doubt about it, but first I have to tell you who will be revealing it. Yes, it is that time ladies and gentlemen for me to announce the new general manager of Monday Night Raw!
Matt Striker: Wow! Finally!
Vince McMahon: This man has helped myself through some hard times with this company. He has given us the funding to keep the WWE going. He has wrestling in his blood, and is a great benefit to this business. Without further a due, your new general manager…
Vince gestures to the entrance as it is silent for a moment in the arena.
Matt Striker: Oh ho hooo!
J.R.: Oh great, anyone but him!
The crowd are shocked into silence for a second, before rapturously booing JBL. Sure, he was a big name, but the crowd did not approve of his behaviour. JBL appeared at the top of the ramp, smirking and waving to the crowd, wearing a neat black suit.
JBL: Well, aren’t you all glad to see me? I saved your company! If it wasn’t for me right now you’d have to be watching some inferior wrestling show that no-one wanted to watch in the first place! But thanks to me, thanks to JBL, you can all watch Monday Night Raw just like every week. Well, apart from a few changes. Like my good friend Vince said a few weeks ago, there is a new championship. The Television Championship. And yeah, this will be decided at the pay-per-view next month, WWE Unified. Tonight, we’re gonna have ourselves a couple of qualifying matches to find out who’s gonna be competing for that belt in four weeks time. See? Don’t say I don’t give you what you want!
The crowd were surprised at what seemed like a genuine good act from JBL, but they knew this couldn’t last long.
Chris Jericho: Who cares about that? Oh wow, look, JBL is our general manager. I don’t care about some stupid television championship. What’s happening with this? Chris Jericho is the champion, I demand you retire this novelty trophy!
Chris points at Cena’s WWE Championship as Cena looks furious at the arrival of the Wrestling God.
JBL: Now hold on Chris I’m getting to you two. Yes, you both have championships and they’re both pretty important. But everyone knows that there can only be one. So, next month at WWE Unified, we’re gonna have a little unification match! John Cena vs. Chris Jericho! You got that:?
John Cena’s anger turns to a cocky smile as Jericho looks angry at the decision and shouts “What!?” but not in the microphone.
JBL: But as for the main event tonight. John, I know Batista can’t challenge for your WWE Championship, but I’m sure he wants some revenge. So tonight, you are going to go up against Batista! And Chris Jericho!
The crowd boos as Chris Jericho laughs at Cena.
JBL: BUT you’re going to have a tag team partner John! That’s right, tonight’s main event will be Chris Jericho and Batista...versus John Cena...and Randy Orton!
The crowd once again pops hard for the mention of Randy Orton, and his inclusion in the main event. JBL says he’s giving the people what they want, and his music plays as he walks off stage leaving Cena and Jericho looking shocked at one another.
Matt Striker: Can you believe all that J.R.? Not only is our new general manager John Bradshaw Layfield, the wrestling god, but we’ve got an incredible tag team main event! Unbelievable!
J.R.: I know, it’s fantastic. Well, coming up next is the fatal 4-way to decide the number one contender for Michelle McCool’s women’s championship.
Matt Striker: Yes, The Divas Championship has of course been retired so now this is the only one to play for in the women’s division. Who will be the next to attempt an end to Michelle McCool’s reign, we’ll find out next.
Melina vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Tiffany vs. Maryse
The match starts with Beth Phoenix, Tiffany and Melina each nodding at one another then ganging up on Maryse, beating her down in the corner. Maryse escapes under the bottom rope and quickly retreats into the barricade. Tiffany follows her outside and the two begin to brawl on the ring floor, with Maryse gaining the upper hand by slamming Tiffany into the ring steps. Meanwhile inside the ring Beth and Melina share a knowing glance that there’s no animosity between them, and lock up. The two exchange various arm drags, submissions and basic wrestling maneuvers to try and gain the upper hand from one another. Eventually, Beth manages to hit a Fisherman’s Suplex on Melina. By this point though, Maryse had crawled back into the ring and unsuccessfully attempted a roll-up on Beth. Gaining a two count.
Tiffany remained out of action for a large portion of the match because of the injury sustained when Maryse slammed her head off the ring steps. In the ring, Melina and Beth once again teamed up and took out Maryse, doing various double clothesline and leg drop variations. Maryse gained the upper hand however at around four minutes when Melina attempted to run at her, at which point she pulled down the top rope and sent Melina flying onto the ring floor, leaving only Maryse and Beth in the ring. The two of them exchange blows, with Beth’s hitting harder but Maryse not budging. The French-canadian then cunningly waited until the referee was checking on Melina outside the ring and poked Beth Phoenix in the eye. She then spun Beth round and connected with a French TKO. She covered Beth, but Melina threw her off her opponent at the two count, saving the matchup. Tiffany, who had now recovered, then pulled Melina away and back outside the ring, clotheslining her to the mat.
Beth stumbles to her feet and tries to clothesline Maryse, but she gets kicked in the gut. Maryse then hits the French Kiss on Beth Phoenix. As she is covering the Glamazon however, Tiffany runs and baseball slides both Maryse and Beth out the ring. She gets up and turns round to be met by a kick in the gut from Melina, who hits the Last Call and covers Tiffany for the three count.
Winner and new number one contender to the Women’s Championship: Melina (07:08)
Matt Striker: and there we have it, Melina is the new number one contender for the Women’s championship!
J.R.: Well Michelle McCool is away visiting her family this week but she’ll be back next Monday night and I’m sure she’s going to want to confront Melina, her new challenger, face to face.
Matt Striker: I hope so J.R., those two have the potential to put on a fantastic matchup and I personally want to see it sooner rather than later.
Matt Striker:: Welcome back to Monday night Raw and we currently have one of
several new Superstars in the ring.
J.R.: That’s right Matt, the WWE is going through some major changes and
this Superstar is one of them.
There is a massive pop for the new superstar as everyone is anxious to
meet the latest member of the WWE.
Lucky Cannon: Wow.
He is clearly blown back by the crowd and the reaction he is receiving.
Lucky Cannon: Thank you, it Is a great honour to be standing here in
this ring. This is what I've dreamt about my entire life and finally I
have made it into the best company in the world, the WWE.
The crowd cheer at the mention of their company.
Lucky Cannon: Throughout my life I have been lucky, may it be in
education, health, family, wrestling or making it to the WWE. That is
why my friends call me lucky and I quite like it. My name is Lucky
Cannon and I am here to......
The crowd boos at the site of Batista and a chant of "You suck" breaks
Batista walks out with a look of anger on his face, wearing his
wrestling attire with a t- shirt over the top.
Batista: Shut it!
The crowd continue to boo.
Batista: shut up! Who are you?
Batista directs at Lucky Cannon.
Lucky Cannon: I'm Lucky Cann...
Batista: Nobody cares! What are you doing In my ring? You are a
nobody, I should be WWE champion but John Cena cheated and used duct
tape. Are you serious? Duct tape?!
The crowd cheer at the mention of Cena's name.
Batista: Shut up! I should be opening the show, I should be in the
match for the WWE unified championships, I am Monday night Raw. No
posers like you should be in this company. I worked hard to get here
what did you do?
Lucky opens his mouth to speak but Batista stops him
Batista: You got a lucky pass huh? Well I worked to become WWE
champion and I should still be champion and should be challenging for
the unified belts and I'm going to prove that tonight when I beat John
The crowd intensify their jeers and Batista leaves the stage. Lucky
stands in the ring and shakes his head.
J.R.: Well that is not an official stipulation folks, Batista will
certainly not get a shot at the unified championship if he wins tonight.
Matt Striker: Well I don't see why not, If he beats John Cena and
Randy Orton tonight he more than deserves a shot at the titles.
J.R.: I don't think so Matt, he has used his rematch clause and he
Matt Striker: He was cheated out of the WWE championship by John Cena
I think he has the right to a rematch.
J.R.: It was an Extreme rules match, anything goes, duct tape is
Matt Striker: Well, not in my eyes J.R. Join us after the break for a qualifying match for the Television Championship!
Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Koslov vs. The Big Show
The match starts with Kozlov and Big Show teaming up on Matt Hardy and
beating him into a corner, he is bet to the ground and is knocked out
of the ring. This leaves Kozlov and Show in the ring, they stare at
each other and Kozlov starts pointing and shouting at the Big Show.
Show slaps him, Kozlov regains balance at the two start to grapple.
Show overpowers Kozlov and Pushes him to the ground, Kozlov looks
shaken but gets up and tries to German suplex the big show. He cannot
suplex him. But tries several times then big show sticks his ass out
and sends Kozlov flying across the ring to the ground. By this time
Hardy is on the top ropes and does a double diving sledge to big shows
head, the stuns show and Hardy begins to land punches on the big shows
back. Kozlov gets to his feet and gains Hardy’s attention. He signals
as to team up on the Big Show, Hardy looks confused and starts talking
to Kozlov. Big show however runs into both men at the same time,
connecting a shoulder to both Kozlov and Hardy.
Big Show now runs off the ropes and does his trademark hand raise
receiving major heat from the crowd.
The Big Show walks over to Hardy and lifts him to his feet and then
lifts him with both hands above his head, however Kozlov swipes Shows
left leg with his arm forcing Show to Stumble and drop Hardy to the
mat. Hardy rolls out of the ring as Big Show and Kozlov grapple once
more. This time Big Show pushes Kozlov into a corner which he bounces
out of, Big Show bounces off the ropes and bulldozes Kozlov to the
ground. Big Show turns Kozlov so that he is facing him and walks over
his chest causing Kozlov to roll about in pain. Hardy is now up and
standing at the opposite side of the ring, Big Show oblivious to this
picks Kozlov up and pushes him towards where Hardy is standing, Hardy
locks Kozlov I the side effect and executes it. Big show in an angry
rage charges at hardy, who pulls the top rope down Show goes flying
out of the ring, Kozlov has now got to his feet but is stumbling.
Hardy gets him into position for the twist of fate and pulls it off
perfectly and goes for the pin, getting the three count.
Winner and new contender for the Television Championship: Matt Hardy (5.54)
Big Show looks on in disgust and runs back into the ring, Hardy
realises and jumps out and jogs up the ramp with a smile on his face.
J.R.: What an electrifying match there and we have our first contender
for the new television championship in Matt Hardy.
Matt Striker: Yes, I would like to congratulate Matt Hardy on his
victory against two larger opponents very impressive.
J.R.: The world’s largest athlete cannot be happy with that
outcome as he was odds on favourite before the match.
J.R.: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw ladies and gentleman!
Matt Striker: It’s our illustrious new General Manager, The Millionaire Mauler himself JBL!
JBL stands at the top of the ring with a microphone in hand.
JBL: As you all know before I had the longest WWE Title reign in history, I made my name as a Tag Team legend as one half of the APA
Fans pop at the mention of the APA
JBL: But now I look around and the state of tag team wrestling in the WWE is atrocious, so I called up Vince and I told him that I would spend my time and money, both of which are incredibly valuable, and scour the globe; no expense spared looking for the very best tag team in the world. But I didn’t need to go very far to find it. I just had to go to the home of American Industry, Detroit. In fact why don’t I bring these guys out right now?
The crowd pops at the idea of a brand new tag team debuting right now.
J.R.: Well who is it?
Matt Striker: Whoever it is you can guarantee that it’s the very best. The Wrestling God himself said there was no expense.
J.R.: Why it’s the Motor City Machine Guns! How the hell did JBL pull this off?!
The guns make their way down to the ring and ask for two microphones. A small but noticeable chant of Motor City breaks out.
J.R.: Well it seems that some of our fans are familiar with these guys work...
Matt Striker: Well of course they are Jim! How can you not be familiar with a team that’s travelled all around the world and is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best Tag Team in the World?!
Alex Shelly: So this is the WWE huh? This is the best wrestling organisation in the world? I’m impressed. But I’m getting ahead of myself so let’s get some introductions down. My name is Alex Shelly and this is my partner Chris Sabin.
Chris Sabin: Hello there.
Alex Shelly: Together we make up the Motor City Machine Guns.
Pop for the mention of the guns.
Chris Sabin: You see, the Motor City Machine Guns about 3 things. Number 1 entertaining you the fans. Number 2 is getting laid and number 3 getting paid. But where we were was limiting our ability to do those 3 things. You see there wasn’t that many fans and the few fans there was ugly dudes.
There’s a small pop from the crowd at the not so subtle diss of TNA.
Alex Shelly: So when we got a call from JBL offering us tons of money and a Tag Team title shot at the upcoming Pay Per View it took as all of about 5 seconds to make a decision. You see Women like two things, Champions and money.
Chris Sabin: That’s right, so let’s bring out the current champions for a singles match between myself and the toughest guy in
The Hart Dynasty, Natalya.
The crowd pops at the joke then Tag Champions the Hart Dynasty theme “New Foundation” plays out but after 10 or so seconds no-one comes out.
J.R.: Well where are they?
Matt Striker: The Hart Dynasty playing some mind games here with the new number one contenders to their Tag Titles.
Chris Sabin: I guess they’re still at a Tim Hortons.
Alex Shelly: Chopping trees?
Some portions of the crowd start laughing.
Alex Shelly: Anyway let’s get out of here it’s time fo-
JBL: Now before you guys head out of here, there’s two new additions to the roster I’d like to introduce. In fact you guys might know them. First of all hailing from the City of Angels Christopher Daniels!
A small portion of the crowd cheers as “Wings of a Fallen Angel” plays and Christopher Daniels makes his way onto the ramp wearing his classic hooded robe. He looks in the direction of JBL and nods to him and makes his way down to the ring. Once in the ring he exchanges handshakes with the Guns who head on up the ramp.
JBL: Not so fast boys, I believe you may know the next new superstar, he hails from the worst part of the greatest city in the world, Brooklyn. He is Kaval!
"Fighter's Passion" plays to a very modest reception. A few people in the crowd start to chant “Low Ki” but that quickly dies down. As he passes the Guns he offers a handshake which the Guns are quick to accept.
JBL: Now these two boys are gonna put on a show that a Wrestling God himself could be proud of.
JBL walks backstage to a chorus of boos as Kaval and Daniels stare each other down from opposite sides of the ring.
Matt Striker: Stay right with us folks and be sure to join us after the break when the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels takes on the World Warrior Kaval next on Monday Night Raw!
Christopher Daniels vs. Kaval
The match begins with both men walking to the centre of the ring and smiling at each other before locking up, after a couple of collar elbow tie ups Daniels lands the first punch with a stiff right hand. Kaval looks slightly shocked before replying with one of his own. Kaval then begins to take the upper hand backing Daniels up into the corner with a series of kicks. With Daniels in the corner Kaval begins to chop him. With the crowd responding with a “Woo” accordingly. Kaval then places Daniels on the top rope and connects with the Koppu Kick, he then in turn scales the top rope. After composing himself for a few seconds he goes for the Ki Splash but at the very last second Daniels moves out of the way! A small chant of “Holy shit!” breaks out amongst the first few rows.
With that one mistake the momentum had shifted entirely. Daniels picked up Kaval and then took him right back down with a perfect belly-to-belly Suplex. He then goes to pick up Kaval again but gets caught off guard when Kaval quickly rolls him up 1-2- near fall. Embarrassed, Daniels lays some quick kicks into Kavals ribs.
After a few minutes of dominating Daniels tries to hook in Angels Wings but it's reversed into an STO takedown by Kaval. Kaval then locks in a cross-face and the crowd starts to cheer loudly, after nearly a minute of the crossface, Daniels finally manages to reach the ropes. With both men feeling the effect of a highly phyiscal match the crowd could sense the end was coming. At the second attempt of trying Daniels finally managed to hit Angels Wings, with Kaval laying just next to the turnbuckle Daniels jumps up and goes for the Best Moonsault Ever! But oh no! Kaval got his knees up!
With both men down on the mat Daniels crawls to get a cover on Kaval 1-2- Kick out!
J.R.: A kick-out from Kaval! This classic continues.
Matt Striker: Even though this match is only an “Exhibition” both men have a desire to impress on their WWE debuts. These guys are close friends and …
Suddenly Matt Striker is interrupted by “Radio”. Zack Ryder and Cody Rhodes then come running down to the ring.
J.R.: What the hell are these two guys doing? They have absolutely no business being here!
Cody Rhodes begins laying big kicks into Kaval with Ryder doing the same to Daniels. Ryder then instructs Rhodes to go ringside and get a chair. Rhodes then holds Daniels up and Ryder delivers a sickening chair shot straight to the Fallen Angel. Ryder can then be heard shouting at Justin Roberts to “Give him a freaking mic.”
Zack Ryder: Listen up and listen good, this is our company. You guys can't just waltz in here and take our spots that we worked so hard to get. You two need to get back to wherever it is that you came from. Woo. Woo. Woo. You Know It.
Rhodes and Ryder head back up the ramp looking proud of themselves whilst the crowd boo's the hell out of them. The camera shows Kaval and Daniels laying on the mat before cutting to JR and Striker.
J.R.: What a cowardly attack by Rhodes and Ryder, these two young men really need to have a look at themselves in the mirror. Kaval and Christopher Daniels had put on a fantastic athletic contest that the crowd was really into and for it to end in such a way it's just cheating the fans.
Matt Striker: I respectfully disagree, I can totally relate to what Cody and Zack are feeling. There's been a huge change in the WWE right now so a lot of people are fearing for their jobs. Fearing for your position can make you do crazy things.
J.R.: So that's justification for attacking two helpless athlete after a gruelling fast paced match?
Matt Striker: In my opinion, yes.
J.R.: Oh you're just full of it aren't ya?
JBL is sitting in his office as the crowd boo his appearance. He has his head buried in paperwork when Edge enters the room, looking furious.
Edge: JBL! You’re the new general manager aren’t you?
JBL looks up from his paperwork, irate.
JBL: Yes, and I’m a general manager who would appreciate it if you knocked before you entered my office.
Edge: Look, I don’t care. Last time I was here on raw I was misused, wasted, thrown into matches that I didn’t care about, the works. Now that you’re here, what do I find? I’m not even in the main event. I’m not even on the card!
JBL: Woah, woah, Edge, calm down. Trust me, your position in this company is safe.
Edge: Really? Then why am I not in the main event?
JBL steps from around his desk and makes sure the door is shut.
JBL: Because, I’m resting you up…
Edge: Oh? What for?
JBL looks hesitant to tell Edge, but eventually speaks.
JBL: I can’t…I can’t exactly say right now, but trust me Edge, the people wanna see you, I know that, and I’ve got big plans for you in the future, you aren’t gonna be leaving the main event any time soon, you got me?
Edge smirks and nods his head.
Edge: I get you, okay, well I’ll take your word for it, but you better deliver JBL.
JBL: Oh trust me I will, but for now, why don’t you take the day off, huh?
JBL: Yeah, don’t worry about it, do what you want, you haven’t got anything to worry about.
Edge: Now that’s what I like to here…
Edge laughs as JBL opens his office door, showing him out. Edge leaves and JBL pats him on the shoulder, shutting the door behind him. He goes back and sits behind his desk, smirking to himself.
John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian
The three tentatively pace for a few moments, before Dolph Ziggler strikes, pummeling Christian into a corner. As this is a shot for a future championship match, it’s every man for himself, so no-one teams up. Dolph attempts a high knee in the corner to Christian, but Christian ducks inbetween the middle and top rope and kicks Dolph in the head. John then hits a Roundhouse Kick on Dolph and he hits the ground, rolling out the ring. Morrison and Christian were then left in the ring together and squared off. They exchange forearm shots before hitting some more high-flying offense to try and knock each other off balance. This hypes the crowd up as it seems they’re evenly matched, neither going down to the ground at any point. Eventually, Christian however manages to knock Morrison down with a flying dropkick from the top rope. He begins to clap his hands and hype the crowd up.
However, Dolph finally takes the opportunity and sneaks back into the ring, crouched and ready. The crowd attempt to warn Christian but to no avail, and as John is standing up and stumbling, Dolph locks his lethal Sleeper Hold on Christian, attempting to bring captain charisma down and win the match for himself. John is still not stable enough to realize what is going on and quickly starts to fade, however, once the Monday night delight stabilizes he runs and takes both Dolph and Christian out with a speedy clothesline. From there the matchup remains even, with these three highly athletic stars all attempting to one up each other with increasingly risky high-flying maneuvers, including Morrison trying for Starship Pain on a perfectly-positioned Ziggler, only for Christian to knock Morrison off the turnbuckle at the last moment. He attempts to cover Dolph, but he gets his foot on the ropes.
The end of the match comes when Dolph locks in another sleeper hold, this time on Morrison. Christian is lying outside the ring and Ziggler slowly knocks out his opponent. He goes down to one knee, as the crowd clap in an attempt to wake Morrison up. Soon Ziggler is standing and Morrison is almost lying down as the ref goes to check his hand. However as he does, Ziggler looks up to see Christian ascending the turnbuckle! He lets go of Morrison just in time to get hit by a diving crossbody, taking Ziggler down to the ground. They both get up quickly and, with Morrison nearly out, Christian kicks Ziggler hard in the gut. He grabs Dolph’s arms and hits the Killswitch! He covers Dolph Ziggler for the three count!
Winner and contender for the Television Championship: Christian(07:00)
J.R.: Wow, what a matchup there between these three outstanding competitors!
Matt Striker: Yes and I think we both agree that the best man definitely won in that match, credit to Morrison and definitely credit to Dolph but the spotlight is definitely on Christian, and to the victor, the spoils. Christian will now meet Matt Hardy at WWE Unified for the Television Championship!
Josh Matthew appears on screen backstage.
Josh Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest, CM Punk.
Punk comes into shot with a smug look on his face and gets massive heat. Fellow Straight Edge Society members Luke Gallows and Serena accompany him.
Josh Matthews: Punk you defeated Rey Mysterio last night at Extreme Rules an-
Punk stops him mid-sentence and moves the microphone towards himself
CM Punk: Josh, last night I beat Rey Mysterio in the middle of the ring 1-2-3 and that I managed that without Brother Gallows or Sister Serena at ringside .
Josh Matthews: Punk with all due respect, there was that masked man who came out from under the ring and attacked Rey.
CM Punk: I didn't see anything. Brother Gallows did you see anything?
The camera moves to Luke Gallows who shakes his head. The crowd boos at the deception from the SES.
CM Punk: I think that the WWE Universe's poisoned mind imagined that. None of us noticed that.
Major heat from the crowd.
Josh Matthews: Well if it's okay with you we'd like to show you the recap from your match with Rey Mysterio from Extreme Rules last night.
A recap plays from last nights PPV in which it clearly shows a masked man attacking Rey Mysterio.
The crowd boos wildly as CM Punk mocks shock and sadness.
CM Punk: I... I'm speechless. Shocked and appalled. Of course not Josh you see Rey Mysterio is a coward. Rey Mysterio hides behind his mask and you all believe he is some kind of superhero in your pill induced state. So that's why at the brand new PPV Unified, I am challenging Rey Mysterio to a match but this is a special kind of match. You see this will be the very last match in the Rey Mysterio CM Punk chronicles. I am putting the one thing I cherish in this world on the line, no not my hair, If I lose the Straight Edge Society will disband.
The crowd pops at the idea of finally getting rid of the SES.
CM Punk: The WWE Universe seems to like that. Sheep. But there's a catch, you see I would not risk my precious Society without Rey Mysterio risking something himself. When Rey Mysterio loses he will be forced to join the SES.
The camera cuts to the crowd who have a mix of confusion and fear on on their faces.
CM Punk: We expect an answer by next week Rey.
Matt Striker: Will Rey Mysterio accept this match up? He could finally remove the thorn of the SES that has plagued him these past few months. We will find out by next week
J.R.: Speaking of next week Matt, none other than The Undertaker himself will be joining Monday Night Raw. next week! This is a monumental occasion as it'll be the first time since 2003 that The Undertaker will be a full time Superstar on the Raw roster. .Now let's get on with the Main Ev-
JR is interrupted by the lights going down then coming back up. The crowd sensing an Undertaker return is buzzing with excitement.
Matt Striker: Was that what I think it was?
J.R.: What else could it be!
The lights go down again and then after a few seconds. GONG. The crowd is going absolutely crazy! GONG. Then suddenly a message flickers on the titantron. HE'S COMING. And with that the lights come up.
J.R.:Proof if you needed it folks! The Undertaker here next week on Raw! What a show we'll have for you next week!
J.R.: Welcome back to Monday night Raw and we are bringing you a
massive main event tonight.
Matt Striker: That’s right J.R. the WWE champion, John Cena, will be in
tag team action teaming with the Viper, Randy Orton.
J.R.: And their opponents will be none other than the world heavyweight
champion, Chris Jericho and the Animal, Batista.
Matt Striker: With more than twenty world championships between them
this match has the potential to be a classic.
J.R.: That it does Matt, we now join our ring announcer Justin Roberts.
Batista & Chris Jericho vs. John Cena & Randy Orton
At this point the bell rings and the match begins, both men make their way to the centre of the ring. After a few seconds of staring at each other Orton goes for the first punch but it’s reversed by Batista who lands a big right hand of his own making Orton stumble back into the turnbuckle. After picking Orton up and delivering another big right hand Batista picks up Randy and bringing him over to his corner where he tags in Jericho. Jericho then begins to lay kicks into Orton before walking to the middle of the ring and motioning to Cena with the You Cant See Me. After taking a second too long Orton manages to get up and attack Jericho from behind but any hopes of a comeback are quickly thwarted after Batista rushes into the ring and attacks Batista. The referee forces Batista back onto the apron but during this Jericho chokes out Orton.
Orton then lays on the ground for a little bit but as Jericho comes over to begin the attack Randy catches him with a quick roll-up, 1-2- near fall! Jericho looks taken aback and the crowd cheers Randy on as he mounts a comeback. Orton manges to stand up and hit a picture perfect dropkick on Chris, who falls against the ropes and springs back into Orton’s way who hits a lovely snap suplex. Jericho then gets caught up in one of Randy’s signature chinlocks which keeps him grounded. With Cena on the apron firing up the crowd Randy looks in perfect control of the match. Orton then goes to tag John but before this Batista distracts the ref so as Cena steps in the ring the ref orders him straight back out, claiming to have not seen the tag. At this point Randy begins to move back to attack Jerich but Jericho manages to get a quick low blow. With both men on the ground Chris manages to tag in Batista and this begins Batista’s attacks.
After a few minutes of Batista and Jericho dominating with frequent tags, all that changes after one move. Jericho shoots Orton into the ropes looking to hit a big clothsline but Orton manages to avoid it and hit the backbreaker. With both men on the ground looking for a tag the crowd starts cheering wildly hoping for Orton to tag in Cena. Jericho manages to tag in Batista but just as he does that Orton tags in Cena. The crowd comes unglued as the WWE Champion makes his way into the ring looking for a fight. He hits a big fishermens suplex on Batista who then gets up dazed and confused, the crowd knows whats coming and erupts as Cena hits a flying shoulder, he bounces off the ropes and hits another! He turns to look at the crowd who can all sense it. The hand comes up in the air as he moves over Batista, You Can’t See Me, as he moves off the ropes. 5 Knuckle Shuffle! Just as Cena turns to the crowd Jericho sneaks in and hits a CODEBREAKER! Chris Jericho then suddenly locks in the Walls Of Jericho!
Winners by disqualification: John Cena & Randy Orton(11:00)
Cena is yelling out in pain as Jericho has the Walls still locked in, despite the DQ.
J.R.: Damnit Matt, this isn’t right! Chris has been DQed, the match has been thrown out and still he’s got the Walls of Jericho locked in!
Orton looks furious at the DQ and runs into the ring.
J.R.: Finally, the Viper is taking justice into his own hands!
Matt Striker: Yeah, J.R., but here comes the animal, Batista!
Batista runs into the ring and meets Orton’s run with a clothesline, knocking him to the ground. Jericho still has Cena in the Walls and he is now beginning to fall unconscious as Jericho wrenches back further and further.
Matt Striker: Uh-oh, this doesn’t look good, Batista is setting up Randy for a Batista Bomb!
J.R.: Oh my gawd! Somebody stop that psychopath!
Batista picks Randy up high in the air and hits a brutal Batista Bomb, knocking Randy out cold. Batista then walks over to Cena and crouches down, shouting in his face. Suddenly, the crowd goes from ravenous booing to rapturous cheers as the see someone sprinting down the ramp.
J.R.: Is that!? Is that!? Is that who I think it is Matt!?
Matt Striker: Yes it is J.R., it’s Lucky Cannon, and it looks like he wants payback!
Lucky rolls into the ring and dives on Batista, launching punches square at his face and kneeing him in the ribs. Batista yells out in pain and claws himself away, rolling out the ring. Lucky follows him and Batista quickly stumbles to his feet. He jumps over the barricade to escape Lucky and out into the crowd! But Lucky is following him! Batista sprints for the exit in an attempt to outrun Cannon and makes it out of the arena, with Lucky in hot pursuit. Meanwhile in the ring, Cena is completely out cold and Jericho finally releases the hold, looking down at Cena with contempt.
J.R.: Well I don’t believe this, I mean if it wasn’t for Lucky Cannon this would be a lot worse but this is shocking.
Jericho rolls out the ring and grabs both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. He then climbs back into the ring and stands over Cena’s limp body. He holds both championships high in the air and his theme plays as the camera pans out and the crowd boo.

Where the hell is the first part of the main event?
Pretty good first show
Especially the Punk/Mysterio Promo and Undertaker Promo
Also JBL giving edge the day off was cool
I actually kinda like JBL being sorta a face
Love that you saved the tag team division by bringing in the Guns
- WWE officals are reportedly very happy with Lucky Cannon's debut. Many feel he is set for very big things within the company.
- Triple H is reportedly going to be ready for Money In The Bank. No word yet on who he will feud with. Early reports are saying he will either continue to work with Sheamus or begin to start a new program with someone else.
- The Motor City Machine Guns are expected to pull double shifts working in both the Tag Division and the cruiserweight Division. Many are also expecting Kaval and Daniels to re-unite under their Triple X days and do the same. No news on whether they would be allowed to use that moniker however.
- A lot of the older generation still within the WWE are upset that the Intercontinental Title has been retired without a big celebration. Early reports are that it still could be brought back however.
- The first winner of the new Television is reportedly set to be neither Matt Hardy or Christian. Management would much rather have a former World Champion win it in order to raise the prestige of the title.
- A lot is being discussed on the Edge/JBL promo. One potential angle is that Edge would be JBL's problem solver of sorts. All of these are just early reports and anything can and probably will.

Last week, changes were made that shook the WWE to it's very core. JBL was revealed as general manager, the two major championships are being unified at the pay-per-view next month, and mysterious plans are being laid down already by JBL, who claims he "just gives the people what they want". What will we be seeing this week on Monday Night Raw?
A surprising signal was broadcast over Monday Night Raw, that was sure to signal the return of the Deadman, The Undertaker! But who was it who put him in a vegetative state? Will The Undertaker be able to tell us? and if so, will the culprit survive the destruction that will surely reign down on him?
Last week, Melina won a fast-paced fatal 4-way in her returning matchup to become the number one contender for the Women's Championship! This week, McCool returns to Monday Night Raw, and she has something to say to Melina. What will it be? Does she know something we don't?
Aswell as this, you will see great matches from the likes of Dolph Ziggler, new signings The Motor City Machine Guns, Randy Orton and many more. Also, will we see this week what JBL has planned for Edge, and wether or not it'll be something that Edge likes, or something more sinister for the Rated R Superstar?
All this and much more this monday night! Join J.R. and Matt Striker then!
DARK MATCH RESULT MVP and JTG defeated Dudebusters when JTG hits Paydirt on Caylen Croft, taking him out the match, and MVP capitalises on a shocked Trent Baretta when he rolled him up for a three count.
J.R.: Good evening and welcome to Monday Night Raw!
Matt Striker: My name is Matt Striker, I’m here with J.R., following up on possibly the biggest week in Raw history.
J.R.: Yes Matt, some incredible beginning forged last week, let’s see where they’re going to go this week, I for one, can’t wait.
Matt Striker: Neither can I, J.R.
J.R.: Eurgh, fantastic, if it isn’t Chris Jericho.
Sure enough, the “Best In The World At What He Does” makes his way to the ring, making sure to show off his World Heavyweight Championship belt in the process, wearing it with pride around his waist. He clutches a microphone to his side as he climbs through the ropes and steps into the ring, waiting for the boos he received to die down.
Chris Jericho: Well, I’m sure you all saw what happened last week.
The thousands in the arena could almost feel the smugness eminating from Chris Jericho.
Chris Jericho: But for the few that didn’t, I have a tape of it. Roll it!
And sure enough, a repeat of Chris Jericho beating down John Cena last week played over the screen.
Chris Jericho: Hah! You see that you parasites? That was me, the true champion of the WWE, proving just why I’m the best in the world, and why I deserve to be the number one man on this show! Now, I’m sure you’re all wondering just what I have in store for John this week. After all, I already showed I’m better than him, I can beat him in competition, and whenever I want I can take his championship? So what’s next for me huh? Bring out my own line of bright orange t-shirts and trucker hats? Start making up gimmicky catchphrases?
At this point a smart-ass fan from the crowd shouts “I’m The King Of The World!” and Jericho shoots him a vicious glare.
Chris Jericho: No you see, I’m better than that, and I’m better than him. I have something much more interesting planned for this week’s Raw…
Jericho looked horrified at the top of the ramp, and his look slowly turned to one of rage as John Cena appeared at the top of the ramp, unlike the crowd, most of whom looked pleased to see their hero make an appearance. He stayed at the top of the ramp and held his microphone to his lips.
John Cena: Well Chris, if you want to do something interesting why don’t you stop talking and let someone who these people actually want to see talk for a change?
Chris Jericho: These people do want to see me John, I’m the World Heavyweight Champion!
The crowd booed, disagreeing with Jericho.
John Cena: No Chris, they don’t. They don’t want to see you running your mouth. In fact, I’d like to bet a lot of these people don’t even want to see me running my mouth! No, this is a wrestling show and what people want to see is wrestling, so that’s what we’re going to give them! I went to see JBL, our beloved general manager earlier on today and organized a little deal with him. Tonight we’re both going to have ‘Pick Your Poison’ matches. I’ll pick your opponent, and you can pick mine. How does that sound?
Jericho initially looked shocked, but he slowly smirked, seemingly having a brainwave.
Chris Jericho: You know what John, that sounds great. I can’t wait for you to face who I’ve got in store for you. I’m sure they’ll want to fight you sooner rather than later.
Jericho then laughed as John shrugged his shoulders.
John Cena: Well I hope for your sake they can do a good job of taking me out, because if not, I have no trouble doing this.
John then suddenly dropped the microphone, running towards the ring. He slid under the ring just as Jericho ran away, escaping under the bottom rope and fleeing through the crowd. John then smiled, sliding back out the ring and picking up the World Heavyweight Championship. Then, with Jericho watching from the stands, Cena mimicked Jericho’s action last week and held both top titles aloft as the crowd cheered and Cena’s music played once more.
The Hart Dynasty make their way out to a moderate reception
JR: Well here comes the current tag team champs, The Hart Dynasty.
Matt Striker: After no-showing the Motor City Machine Guns last week, let’s see what they have to say.
After getting down to the ring and lifting up Natalya David Hart Smith asks for a microphone. He then looks around the arena then asks for a microphone.
D.H Smith: Last week our new General Manager JBL announced the debut of a new tag team, the Motor City Machine Guns.
The crowd pops at the mention of the Guns.
D.H Smith: yeah those guys. Well let me tell you that we take the challenge of these guys very seriously, so seriously in fact that we would like to set them up a match just to see what they’re made of so let’s get the Guns out here!
“Motorcity” hits and the Guns step out. They receive a fairly loud pop and strut down to the ring, as they enter the ring they extended their hands to the Hart Dynasty but pull them away and do their signature taunt at them.
D.H Smith: ha ha very funny guys, now we brought you out here so we could set you guys up with a match, just to see what we’re up against at Unified. Is that okay with you guys?
Chris Sabin: I get it, you’re scared of us. I say instead of some bogus tag team match that you’ve organized but I say we have a little handicap match tonight. My partner Alex Shelley and I against Natalya.
Alex Shelley: Believe us, if it gets too rough, we’ll lie down for you.
The crowd laughs and the Hart Dynasty begin to fume.
Tyson Kidd: Now listen. I don’t know where you guys came from but that kind of juvenile humor doesn’t fly over here. You got that buddy?
Alex Shelley: Hey man, we’re just messing, don’t get your little hair thing in a twist. You said something about a tag match?
Natalya: That’s right we’ve got two opponents lined up for you, and these two guys are a little more on your level.
Chris Sabin: I’d like to be on your level.
Alex Shelly: Snap.
Natalya stamps her foot and holds back Tyson and Smith.
Natalya: ENOUGH! Bring them out, now!
JR: Well who is it? Who have the Hart Dynasty laid on for the Motor City Machine Guns tonight?
The crowd pops for this oddball tag team and the camera cuts to the ring where the Hart Dynasty look proud of themselves. The Guns however just laugh it off.
Matt Striker: Well I don’t know if this is exactly what the Guns were expecting.
The Hart Dynasty begin to walk away smirking and the bell rings.
Santino Marella & Goldust vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
The bell rings and the match begins with Santino and Alex in the ring. Alex tentatively paces around the ring before moving to lock up but just as he goes in for the lock Santino stops him. He pushes his forearm up, he twists his wrist in, he turns it back out, he goes for the Cobra! But Alex Shelley is quick enough to dodge the devastating blow, rolls behind him and catches Santino with a schoolboy! 1-2-3!
Winners: The Motor City Machine Guns(00:14)
JR: Well, that didn’t give us a whole lotta insight to as what these two highly athletic young men can bring to the table. I really don’t see why the Hart Dynasty did this.
Matt Striker: Don’t you get it Jim? The Hart Dynasty obviously doesn’t view the Guns as a threat to their tag titles. Setting up this match is just their way of proving their dominance over the Guns.
JR: Well I know these two young teams are gonna put on a slobberknocker of a match at the brand new PPV Unified and I for one cannot wait for May 23rd at the Joe Louis Arena in the Motor City!
Matt Striker: Speaking of Unified, up next we will have Rey Mysterio in the ring with an answer to CM Punk’s challenge! Will he accept, find out next on Monday Night Raw!
Matt Striker: Well look what we have here, if it isn’t Michelle McCool, the women’s champion!
J.R.: Last week on Raw, Melina won the right to face McCool for the women’s championship at WWE Unified. I think McCool must be coming out here to, assess the situation as it were.
Michelle McCool struts to the ring, not dressed in her ring gear but in jeans, boots and a tanktop. She walks up the steps and goes into the ring, taking a microphone handed to her by someone at ringside.
Michelle McCool: Well, I’m sure you all watched Monday Night Raw last week and I’m sure you all sorely missed me. But I can’t help it, sometimes I just have better things to do. But, as I’m sure you’re all glad to hear I am back tonight, and it looks like I have a new number one contender to my women’s championship.
The crowd cheered modestly for the reference to Melina.
Michelle McCool: But even with my best friend Layla gone, I don’t think I have anything to worry about. After all, I’ve beaten Melina many times before, wether I’ve had anyone to help me or not. I did it at The Bash last year, I did it at Night Of Champions, and I can do it again at Unified, you mark my words. But hey, I know Melina is backstage tonight, I saw her putting on her six inches of makeup and practicing her fake crying in the locker room earlier. So if you want to come out here Melina and tell me why I’m wrong then feel free.
The crowd fully expected Melina to make an appearance, but she didn’t. Michelle’s determined look turned to a smirk at the lack of an appearance from her number one contender.
Michelle McCool: Just what I thought. You see that’s the problem with Melina, she does her little splits and everyone says she’s gorgeous, but when it comes down to the real stuff, she just can’t…
McCool looked shocked and angered as Melina appeared at the top of the ramp, also dressed in street clothes. She walked with a purpose towards the ring, microphone in hand.
Matt Striker: Looks like Melina has something to say after all!
J.R.: I don’t think McCool was actually expecting Melina to come out at all, but here she is!
Melina slid into the ring, forgoing her typical entrance due to it not being a match environment, and her having other things on her mind, like shutting McCool up.
Melina: Sorry Michelle, I don’t want to spoil your little celebration at how great you are, but I do actually have something to say that might make our match at Unified a little different from usual.
McCool looked quizzically at Melina, stepping towards her.
Michelle McCool: And what’s that?
Melina: Well, now usually in the ring you have some kind of help with these matches. Like you had Alicia Fox, then Layla, even Vickie Guerrero! You just can’t seem to do anything by yourself. So you’d think I’d want this match at Unified to just be one-on-one, me versus you wouldn’t you? Well, you’re wrong. I went to see JBL earlier on tonight and he added a little stipulation to our match next month.
Michelle McCool: Yeah yeah, hurry up and turn on the waterworks so we can leave.
Melina: Oh, I think you’re going to want to hear this…at Unified, our match is going to have a special guest referee.
Michelle looked deeply concerned as Melina’s smile grew.
Melina: And I’m going to announce who she is right now. Or rather, I’ll let her do that herself. So, special referee, come on out…
The crowd erupted in rapturous applause and cheers, clearly they had missed Lita. They grew when she emerged through the doors out into the arena, wearing her typical punk style. She walked down to the ramp as Michelle backed away towards the edge of the ring.
J.R.: It’s Lita! She’s back! I didn’t think I’d ever see Lita in a WWE arena again!
Lita climbed through the ropes and stepped in the ring. After she’d gotten over the shock, Michelle toughened up and stepped towards Lita as her music faded out. The two squared off against one another, trying to get the better of each other. Then suddenly, to an enormous reception, Lita kicks Michelle in the gut and hits a Twist Of Fate. She smiles and gets up, as Melina walks towards her. However, Lita then looks at Melina and kicks her in the gut too, delivering another Twist Of Fate, this time to the number one contender!
Matt Striker: Oh wow! I guess Lita is just as controversial as ever!
Lita then climbs the turnbuckle and poses for the crowd as her music plays, before climbing out and walking back down the ramp.
Rey walks out looking serious but still finds time to high 5 his fans as they applaud and cheer him on. As he enters the ring the crowd begins to chant 619. After a few seconds of looking around he begins to talk.
Rey Mysterio: As you all well know CM Punk and myself have had a lot of problems over these pat few months. It all started when he called me out in front of mi familia for a match at Wrestlemania where if I lost I would be forced to join his Straight Edge Society.
The crowd boos at the mention of the dastardly SES.
Rey Mysterio: I accepted and I defeated him but that wasn’t enough. Five days later he challenged me to another match this time at Extreme Rules. The stipulation was that if he lost I would get to shave off his pureza, his purity, his hair. I accepted again but this time I lost. But now there will be one more match, one final match to end this once and for all!
As Rey gets more passionate the crowd begins to really get behind hi, cheering him louder and louder after each sentence.
Rey Mysterio: If I win the Straight Edge Society will be no more!
Rey Mysterio: But if I lose then I must join them. I must join the people I have fought so hard against. I must join the Straight Edge Society. So I face a cross-roads, with one path my warrior heart is beating strong at the idea of finally of disbanding the SES but the other path my mind is telling me that I can’t do it. That CM Punk’s treacherous mind has yet another plan in order to beat me. With that said I fee-
CM Punk then makes his way out to the ring with the SES in tow. The crowd boos hard and Punk Sucks chant breaks out.
Matt Striker: It’s the Pastor of Purity, the Straight-Edge Superstar CM Punk!
JR: And he’s not alone Matt.
Matt Striker: Indeed he isn’t. Joining him on his crusade is The Sin Free Solider Luke Gallows and the Anti Diva Serena.
JR: No sign of that masked man however.
Serena then hands Punk a microphone who steps into the middle of the ring and drops to his knees.
CM Punk: Let me be the first to introduce you to the first night of the rest of Rey Mysterio’s life.
Boos rain down on CM Punk.
CM Punk: You see tonight Rey will accept the match for Unified he will go into brazen and confident and he will lose. He will then be forced into joining my Straight Edge Society. He will be beaten to within an inch of his life and he will be reprogrammed into a crusader for straight edge.
The crowd begins to boo wildy.
CM Punk: But all this could be avoided.
Punk then stands up and walks towards Rey who is standing in the corner.
CM Punk: Rey, if you join the SES willingly tonight I will drop the match at Unified. You will get away pain free and enter the greatest part of your life. Remember last September Rey? You were the Intercontinental Champion but you failed a drugs test and you were forced to drop your belt. That wouldn’t happen to you in the SES. March 2007, you were accused of being part of some kind of steroid ring and it left a black mark on your reputation. That wouldn’t happen to you in the SES. Don’t you see Rey the SES only wants what’s best for you.
Rey Mysterio: No Punk! The only person the SES benefits is you! You love the power you have over these people! The SES could be a tool for good, there is nothing wrong with the message only the messenger!
The crowd now becomes unglued at the passion in Rey’s voice! The whole arena is chanting for him now!
CM Punk: Now you wait a damn second there!
Punk then goes for a big clothsline but rey ducks it! He then dropkicks Punk outside the ring!
Matt Striker: Woah-ho-ho! Looks like this discussion is breaking down!
After seeing her messiah get knocked outside the ring Serena rushes to his side, at the same time Gallows lands a big forearm across the back of Rey then begins to set him up for the Gallows Pole but Rey manages to reverse it into a hurricanrana! Suddenly Luke is caught up in the middle rope!
JR: It looks like Luke is all hung up on the ropes Rey seems to be dialing it up!
The crowd begins to pop huge as Rey runs off the ropes and BANG 619! The crowd is going nuts as Rey picks up the microphone.
Rey Mysterio: Hey Punk! You and me at Unified? I ACCEPT!
As Rey then hurries out the ring, the camera pans over to Punk and Serena who look shocked. They slowly make their way out the ring and an advertisement for WWE Unified airs.
J.R.: Well, that was an intense confrontation between Rey Mysterio and the Straight Edge Society. Next up though, high-flying action from our cruiserweights.
Matt Striker: Yes, Our division was bolstered by the addition of new, independent superstars Kaval and Christopher Daniels last week. Could more be coming soon? Who knows, but for now, here’s a chance to see them in action.
J.R.: Yes, and who better for them to face than Cody Rhodes and Zack Ryder, who interrupted their exhibition matchup last week because they wanted that time to themselves! Well, it looks like we’re gonna see who deserves that time more right now.
Cody Rhodes & Zack Ryder vs. Kaval & Christopher Daniels
Kaval and Daniels seem eager to exact revenge on the two who beat them up last week. Kaval starts off the matchup with Rhodes and despite Rhodes gaining the advantage with many headlock takeovers, eventually Kaval fights back with a few deep arm drags. The two seem even until Rhodes pushes Kaval into the ropes and, when Rhodes charges at Kaval, he ducks and sends Cody over the top rope! Kaval then performs an outside dive when Ryder comes to help Rhodes, knocking both of them to the ground. Kaval slowly climbs back into the ring and tags in Daniels as Rhodes crawls back in to the ring.
Daniels, angry with Rhodes, immediately runs over and stomps him, dominating proceedings for a while. However Rhodes manages to trip Daniels at the five minute mark and runs over, desperately tagging in Zack Ryder. Zack, showing renewed arrogance and anger, instantly hitting Daniels with a Swinging Neckbreaker upon entering the match. He then poses for the crowd, doing his traditional Long Island gesture to some boos from the more avid WWE fans in the audience. Daniels stumbles to his feet and Ryder whips him off the ropes, clotheslining him to the ground once more. He then takes a few steps back and prepares to hit the Rough Ryder. When Daniels gets to his feet however, he ducks under the lariat and runs over, tagging in Kaval in the process. Ryder attempts to capitalize and hit Kaval, but Kaval kicks him in the gut, sending him to all fours. He then climbs to the top rope and hits The Warriors Way! But Rhodes has the referee distracted by attempting to enter the match! Kaval pins Ryder but the referee doesn’t count! Finally, his attention is drawn to the action and counts, but Ryder gets his hand on the ropes at two! The match continues.
Once Ryder recovers from The Warriors Way he gains control of the match, repeatedly striking Kaval in the back and head. He eventually wears Kaval down and hits a jumping dropkick, sending the warrior to the mat hard. Kaval slowly gets up, near Rhodes’ corner. Ryder distracts the referee again, whilst Rhodes grabs Kaval’s head and hits it off the ring post! Ryder then hurries over and rolls up Kaval! He gets the three count!
Winners: Cody Rhodes and Zack Ryder(08:32)
Matt Striker: and it looks like Dashing Cody Rhodes and Zack Ryder have came out on top again!
J.R.: Not that they deserve it, those brats!
When the commercials end, Lucky Cannon is standing in the ring, looking confident and rolling his knuckles.
J.R: You join us with the new WWE superstar Lucky Cannon in the ring.
Striker: Yes, this is the third and final qualifying match for the Television championship. It was decided through a statement JBL made on wwe.com last week that the title match needed another competitor, and we’re going to find out who it is right now!
Sheamus enters to mild heat, beats his chest and continues to the ring staring at Cannon.
Sheamus vs. Lucky Cannon
The bell rings and the match is underway, both wrestlers go for each other and grapple for a while until Sheamus overpowers Cannon and pushes him to the ground. Sheamus gloats to the crowd claiming he will be the new champion. Cannon gets to his feet and strikes Sheamus in the back, knocking him to the ground.
Suddenly, Batista enters the arena wearing a Shirt, jeans and sunglasses, receiving major heat for his interruption. He looks angry and does his signature thumbs down at Cannon, who is staring at Batista from the ring. The crowd tries to warn Cannon as Sheamus gets to his feet, Cannon turns round to be bicycle kicked in the face. Sheamus pins and gets the pin for the three count.
Winner and contender for the Television Championship: Sheamus(03:10)
Matt Striker: There we have it, Sheamus is the winner and advances to the Television championship match at WWE unified.
J.R: He didn’t do it without help though. Batista cost Cannon that match.
Matt Striker: Well that is Cannon’s own fault for chasing Batista last week with a chair, he got what was coming to him.
J.R: Well I am not sure about that, but I am sure we will have a fantastic match for our new Television championship at WWE unifed.
Matt Striker: That’s right J.R, Matt Hardy, Christian and Sheamus it’s a classic in the making.
A ‘Don’t Try This At Home’ commercial is then aired, followed by a brief recap of what happened last week on Raw, featuring JBL’s reveal as general manager, Christian and Matt Hardy winning their qualification matches, MCMG making their debut, and Jericho beating down Cena prominently.
When Raw returns, Justin Roberts is standing in the ring.
Justin Roberts: The following is the first ‘Pick Your Poison’ match of this evening, in which Chris Jericho has picked the opponent for John Cena.
John Cena appears at the top of the ramp to his usual ovation, mixed with the occasional boo, shrugged off by John. He smiles and runs to the ring, avidly waiting his opponent.
Matt Striker: Who has Jericho chosen? It could be anyone on the WWE roster!
There is a brief silence…
The crowd boos as Edge slowly walks out, looking as confident as ever. He smiles, relishing the opportunity to wrestle again. J.R.: It’s Edge! The Rated R Superstar! Chris Jericho has picked Edge!
Matt Striker: John Cena has met Edge many times before, but now Edge has been hired by Jericho specifically to brutalise Cena, and I have a feeling that he’ll do just that.
Edge then slides into the ring and the bell rings to start the match.
Edge vs. John Cena
Edge takes advantage of Cena’s surprise at his opponent for the early section of the match. He performs a few rest holds, headlock takeovers, and snapmares to make sure he is in charge of the flow of the match. Cena attempts to power up, feeding off the strength of the massive crowd support that is behind him, but this did not work as Edge was used to Cena’s tactics. At one point, the two come to a deadlock and Cena attempts his flying shoulder blocks, but Edge ducks under the second one and Cena goes crashing to the ground. This is very much the theme of this match, as Edge stops Cena from taking control as he knows his previous form from their multiple matchups in the past.
At around the five minute mark though, momentum swings. Edge attempts a diving crossbody off the turnbuckle and Cena ducks, showing some knowledge himself and Edge lands on his stomach. Edge slowly gets to his feet as Cena suddenly has his eyes focused on Edge, the crowd cheering him on, hoping he can turn the match around. Cena kicks Edge hard in the gut and hits a Fisherman’s Suplex, and from then on things swing in Cena’s favour. He begins to get on a roll with multiple forearms to Edge’s head. Edge escapes from the ring briefly by rolling under the bottom rope but Cena does not want to lose his momentum, so he follows Edge out of the ring. The two of them briefly brawl on the outside, Edge slams Cena’s head on the guardrail and attempts an escape, but Cena catches him and flings him into the steel steps, posing for the adulation of the crowd in attendance. Whilst Cena’s back is turned though, Edge hits an Edge-O-Matic on the outside and rolls back inside the ring at the six count of the referee. Cena crawls in at nine.
Edge attempts to capitalize, crouching in the corner, preparing for a Spear. He goes for it, but Cena ducks out the way, and Edge slams into the ring post! He slowly stumbles to his feet and is hit by a Diving Leg Drop from the top rope! Cena then quickly turns around, rolls to the base of Edge’s back, and locks in an STF! Edge is screaming out in pain, clawing his way towards the bottom rope as Cena is too shouting, shouting at Edge to tap out. The crowd are chanting and roaring for Edge to tap out but instead his eyes bulge in desperation…
JBL: Stop this match! Stop it right now!
JBL emerges at the top of the entrance ramp and the crowd boo at the match being halted.
JBL: Referee, I demand you break this match up!
The referee reluctantly pulls at Cena’s arm, and after five seconds Cena breaks the hold and Edge rolls out the ring and onto the floor as the referee calls for the bell to ring.
JBL: I cannot allow Edge to suffer an injury tonight, do you hear me? For that reason, I officially rule this match as a no contest!
J.R.: Now what the hell is that about!?
Matt Striker: Well it looks like JBL doesn’t want Edge getting injured, I guess he has some big plans for him in the future.
Edge staggers down the ramp and meets with JBL, patting him on the back and leaving the stage. The crowd boo as Cena shouts in the ring, and JBL disappears backstage.
Matt Hardy enters the arena to his usual mystifyingly large pop, hyping himself up from their reaction, he high fives a few fans as he walks to the ring and slides inside.
J.R.: Well Matt, it seems next we have a triple threat featuring one of the three qualifiers for our Television Championship match at Unified, Matt Hardy!
Matt Striker: Yes and it seems this crowd couldn’t be more excited to see the man who will not die, version 1!
Dolph Ziggler emerges with Vickie Guerrero in toe, receiving mild heat from the fans, mostly directed towards Vickie. Nonetheless, Ziggler relishes the hate and saunters to the ring, with Vickie making sure to check out Dolph at any opportunity.
J.R.: Eurgh, doesn’t this couple just sicken you a little bit?
Matt Striker: Not at all J.R., I love Vickie and Dolph is an accomplished athlete, they’re the new Speidi!
J.R.: What the hell are you talking about?
Evan Bourne enters, receiving a healthy response from the crowd. He runs down to the ring making sure to high five as many people as possible as he does so.
J.R.: Now this man is something else, something very exciting here in the WWE.
Matt Striker: Indeed, Evan Bourne is often cruelly overlooked, now he has a chance to prove himself against two accomplished superstars, but will he be able to step up to the plate? Let’s find out.
Evan Bourne vs. Matt Hardy vs. Dolph Ziggler [i](accompanied by Vickie Guerrero)
The match is relatively short. Matt Hardy receives most of the offence throughout the match, but Ziggler seems keen to attack Bourne aswell. The crowd seem to be majoritively behind Bourne. Ziggler dominates the opening section of the match, at one point knocking both Hardy and Bourne out the ring, allowing time to pose for the crowd. He even invites Vickie Guerrero into the ring, and the two of them strike a variety of poses, much to the anger of the crowd who want to see wrestling. However, Ziggler doesn’t see Matt Hardy standing behind the couple and, as the audience cheer what is about to happen, Matt gears up for a Twist Of Fate on Vickie Guerrero!
Unfortunately though, Ziggler spins around and spots Matt, attacking him with an array of punches as Vickie quickly flees the ring and shouts at Matt. By this time though, Evan has got to his feet and the competition levels, with Matt Hardy and Evan Bourne briefly teaming up to attack Dolph and put him in his place. Eventually, the two turn on one another as Matt tries an unsuccessful roll-up on Evan, and after that the match goes back to traditional triple threat style.
Late on in the match, Dolph Ziggler has Evan Bourne in the sleeper hold, shaking him around but not hooking his legs. Matt Hardy however, slowly gets to his feet and stumbles towards Dolph. In a panic, Dolph pushes Evan away, right into Vickie Guerrero who is standing on the apron. Dolph hears Vickie scream, spins round and shouts at Evan Bourne, punching him in the face and knocking him too out the ring. Matt Hardy then grabs Dolph, spins him around and hits a Twist Of Fate! He covers Dolph for the three count.
Winner: Matt Hardy(05:01)
After the match Matt quickly slides down the ring and exits to the back. Dolph tends to Vickie Guerrero and helps her up. He then approaches Evan Bourne with malice in his eyes. He rolls Evan into the ring and stands over him, Vickie getting into the ring with his boyfriend.
J.R.: Uh-oh, I sense a storm brewing…
Dolph screams at Evan, along with Vickie, for pushing the Guerrero off the apron and hurting her. Dolph then begins to kick Evan repeatedly. He stands back and waits for Evan to stand up, then hits him with the Zig-Zag.
J.R.: Ouch! That’s not right, he did nothing wrong!
Matt Striker: What do you mean? He assaulted the lovely Ms. Guerrero! This is payback, plain and simple.
Dolph begins to turn and walk out the ring, but Vickie taps him on the shoulder and turns him round, screaming instructions at Dolph. Slowly, Ziggler nods. He maneuvers himself behind Evan and wraps him in a sleeper hold. He begins to choke him out whilst Vickie stands in front of Evan, cackling devilishly. Eventually Evan slips into unconsciousness and finally Dolph lets go.
J.R.: Well that’s just sick, look at Vickie, she loves that, and Evan didn’t even do anything wrong!
The familiar gong sounds and suddenly the arena fills with darkness. The crowd begins cheering like crazy as the gong hits again and The Undertaker’s entrance theme plays, smoke starts to fill the ramp and out steps the Deadman!
JR: Here comes The Undertaker!
Matt Striker: The Phenom of the WWE, never defeated at Wrestlemania, a true legend in this business and he’s here tonight, on Monday Night Raw!
JR: Not only that Matt but this is his first appearance in the WWE since he ended the career of the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels at at Wrestlemania in that 5 star classic.
Matt Striker: It certainly will be interesting to hear what he has to say.
As The Undertaker makes his way to the ring with the all so familiar entrance he grabs a microphone.
Undertaker: At Wrestlemania I ended the career of Shawn Michaels after he cost me my holy grail, the World Heavyweight Championship. Now that Shawn is no longer around to cost me the title I have returned with one thing in mind. The WWE Unified Championship.
The crowd pops at the idea of the Undertaker once again holding major gold.
Undertaker: Let it be known that after Unified I will be the number one contender and I will win the World Title. It doesn’t matter who wins at Unified. They’re just keeping it warm for me.
The Undertaker begins to leave the ring and gets to the ropes but just before he leaves the ring, he is interrupted.
The Undertaker stares into the camera with a look of disbelief and then out steps Drew Mcintyre. The crowd boos as Drew walks to the ring in an expensive looking suit and a smug look on his face.
JR: I have no idea what Drew McIntyre is doing out here but one thing’s for sure; he must be confident.
Matt Striker: Well the Sinister Scotsman who Mr. McMahon has dubbed a future world champion might just be coming for advice. JR: Well he better be careful. The Undertaker has got his eyes firmly set on the title and anyone in his way better watch out.
Drew McIntyre: Undertaker I’m here to tell you that it’s time to step aside let someone else get a shot at the title namely me. How many World Title shots have you had? Seriously? So come on what do you say?
The crowd boos at McIntyre sheer brashness to come out and telling The Undertaker that he needs to move over.
Undertaker: So I nee to move over huh kid? You think you can just come out here and just ask for title shots? Title shots are earned, what have you done to deserve one?
Drew McIntyre: I’m a future world champion…
Undertaker: You keep saying this but you’ve done nothing to back it up. You’re all talk, so no I will not step aside and I will not be talked to like that so you better back up outta my ring.
Drew McIntyre: Well I was talking to Mr. McMahon and he told me that he guarantees that I’ll be World Champion by the end of the year. You need to step aside old timer or I will make you step aside “Deadman”.
Drew then stares at Undertaker for a few seconds, before turning round and leaving the ring.
J.R.: Well I don’t know who the hell Drew McIntyre thinks he is, but the Deadman will not be happy that he was interrupted upon his return to the WWE.
Matt Striker: Yeah, you’ve got to be wondering what is going through the mind of the Sinister Scotsman.
WWE then air a commercial for the ‘Slam Of The Week’, which was Chris Jericho laying out John Cena with a Codebreaker last week.
The cameras rejoin the action with the arena once again empty save for Justin Roberts.
JR: Well it’s time for tonights Main Event. Chris Jericho, the World Heavyweight Champion will take on an opponent of John Cena’s choosing.
Matt Striker: After Chris Jericho choosing the Rated-R Superstar Edge you can be sure that whoever John picks will be one heck of a challenge for the 7 time World Champion.
Justin Roberts: The following is the second ‘Pick Your Poison’ match of this evening, in which John Cena has picked the opponent for Chris Jericho.
Out steps Chris Jericho with his title round his waist and a serious look on his face. The crowd starts booing Chris and chanting “Cena, Cena” but Chris doesn’t even respond. After a receiving a microphone and looking around for little bit Chris finally begins to talk.
Chris Jericho: It’s times like these that the WWE Universe needs Chris Jericho. You see not only am I the current World Heavyweight Champion, not only am I the first ever Undisputed WWE Champion and not only am I a mainstream star by my own accord. I am also the Best in the World at what I do and what I do best is win Championships. I have won over 22 championships in the WWE and whether you choose to admit or not, you need Chris Jericho.
The crowd boos wildly.
Chris Jericho: You see without Chris Jericho the WWE would be full of shameless pandering drones like John Cena. So tonight Cena will pick some jackass from the back and he’ll come out thinking he can beat me but he won’t. I have beaten every single person in this company. I have beaten The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
The crowd cheers for the mention of these legends.
Chris Jericho: So bring out whoever it is that John Cena picked. It really doesn’t matter.
There is another brief silence.
JR: The Viper Randy Orton!
Matt Striker: The last time these two men met one on one was in December 2007 for the WWE Championship and we all remember what a classic that was!
JR: Indeed it was, Randy Orton will take on Chris Jericho when we return.
Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho
The bell rings and both men stare at each other, Chris Jericho lands the first blow and from there on in takes the upper hand. After hitting a perfect vertical suplex Chris then places Randy in a headlock all the while shouting ASK HIM! After around a minute of this Randy finally manages to get back to a vertical base. From there he manages to push Chris off the ropes but gets immediately knocked back down when Jericho hits him with a shoulder block. He immediately wraps Orton in a painful looking body scissors. The crowd boos at Jericho’s lack of exciting moves. Randy manages to land a couple of big elbows and Chris is forced to relinquish the hold. After getting up to his feet Randy manages to land a big European Uppercut and shoots Jericho into the turnbuckle. Randy then mounts the turnbuckle and lands a big right hand and another and soon the crowd begins to count along with the punches 3-4-5-6-7-8-9 he then climbs down and Jericho begins to flop towards the ring and Orton catches him with a huge scoop powerslam.
Randy then begins to pound on the mat, the crowd can sense what’s coming. Jericho starts to stand up with his back turned to Orton as he turns around Randy goes for the RKO but Jericho manages to push him away! As Orton lies in the middle of the ring Chris spots him and goes for the Lionsault! He hits it perfectly and goes for the cover, 1-2 Kickout! Orton slides towards the corner on his back, Chris spots him and goes over to pick him up but Randy manages to grab Chris’ trunks and he lands face first on the turnbuckle, dazed and confused Jericho stumbles backwards but Randy catches him with a roll-up! 1-2 Jericho just manages to kick out!
Randy doesn’t let up however, quickly laying in multiple stomps then catching him with a chinlock, after a minute or so Randy backs up into the corner, the crowd senses a punt coming! Jericho is on all fours, Randy goes for the punt but Jericho manages to get out of the way he then gets behind Jericho and hits a perfect release Germen Suplex!
The crowd cheers wildly as they all appreciate good wrestling.
JR: don’t go anywhere, this Main Event will continue after this short break!
As Raw comes back from the commercial break Y2J is in complete control. Randy is lying on the ground whilst Jericho antagonizes the crowd by shouting at them. He recives massive heat before heading back over to work over Randy.
Chris then motions to the crowd a tapping motion and goes to lock in the Walls of Jericho! He’s got it synched in, this has to be the end of Randy! After 30 seconds of searing pain Randy manages to flip Jericho over. The crowd lets out an audible sigh of relif at Randy just managing to break the Walls. Jericho stands up h is obviously furious that Randy managed to escape the walls.
Fuming, Chris moves over Randy but gets locked up in an armbar, Orton then wraps Jericho’s arm in between his legs and locks in the crossface! In Jericho’s anger he made a critical error. The crowd is going wild as Jericho inches towards the ropes and just manages to get to the ropes and Orton is forced to break the hold. With both men clearly spent and lying on the ground the referee begins a 10 count. Orton is the first to get up at about 8, he then picks up Jericho who hits a picture perfect Codebreaker. 1-2-3. Jericho picks up the victory after a real back and forth match.
Winner Chris Jericho(15:36)
JR: What a match here tonight! Jericho picks up the victory as he builds momentum for his showdown with Cena at Unified. Wait what’s Chris doing?
Jericho then locks in the Walls of Jericho and starts wrenching back! The crowd boos as 3 refrees run down to the ring to break it up. As Chris just ignores them the crowd boos heavily. Finally after nearly one minute of the hold being locked in Chris then breaks it and heads over to pick up his title and a microphone.
Chris Jericho: At Unified I will be the first ever Unified WWE Champion and there is nothing John Cena can do about it!
Matt Striker: Is this true? Can Chris Jericho defeat John Cena at Unified will he be able to avoid the Walls of Jericho?
The screen fades to black with Chris Jericho holds his World Heavyweight Championship high above his head.
