I only have one for the show intro and possibly one for the coming PPV trailer. I'm not going to be using them for everybodies entrance etx, as thats just over kill.
I don't know Caesar, I just like the idea of a fresh new month. Maybe I'm just weird like that.
On another note, I think if you post a highlight video in a newswire post or something like that, it'd be perfectly fine. Even in the actual show is okay, but I've never been too fond of having videos posted in a show.
I don't mind writing for a women's division. (or when I finally get to finishing my first show anyways).. I think with a decent women's division. You can pull off some good matches and angles.
I'm hoping I can bring it back to what it used to mean, and don't see it as a waste of time.
Well, I like women and I like wrestling. Putting the two together is like eating a PB&J sandwich - you know it just fits, at least for me, as there are a bunch of guys *coughJPcough* who do not see it that way. I love challenges, and I was even thinking of creating an all-woman BTB, just because I can. Now, the matter of actually writing a show for it? A different one entirely.
As for what I hate reading/doing, I hate redoing and reading the same feuds I've seen with absolutely no differences. I hate Edge/Christian feuds, because I've read 'em far too much and they always end up becoming the same thing. I was gonna write one previously, but try to make it different. I also hate reading feuds with guys I do not care about - basically 75% of the roster in WWE and 90% of the roster in TNA. I also dislike seeing second and third generation stars with a rehash of their predecessor's gimmick. Come up with some new material, ffs. I'm guilty of it, we're all guilty of it.
Question. Is there something in BTB that you despise or hate doing, but have to do it anyways OR is there something you don't enjoy reading?
Tag Team Matches, definitely. I don't mind elimination matches, but plain ol' tag team matches are so boring to write. It's really hard to make them exciting.
M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross (or a great WWE gimmick Spartan 3000) lol, youtube Jon Moxley and sit back and be in wow of his talent, Kenny Omega, Austin Aries and Jimmy Jacobs are all fun. Tyler Black has that intensity level that would be great on WWE TV
Foreign Talent like BXB Hulk and Dragon Kid would be the first I'd hire for a new era Cruiserweight Division.
To whoever asked, Ken Doane is still a free-agent for the time being, although I expect that to change in the next couple of weeks or so. That guy has unlimited potential and is only 24 years old.
Outside of ROH there isn't anyone who could thrive on a mainstream level imo, aside from the two I mentioned. Ricky Landell has seemingly dropped off the face of the earth but he would be a good shout provided you held a gun to Steve Corino's head and asked him where the body was (I kid). :hmm:
Inside ROH there's some good potential mid-card talent such as Eddie Kingston, Erik Stevens, Davey Richards, Colt Cabana and Claudio, a couple of main-eventers waiting to happen in Chris Hero and Kenny King, a great tag-team in The Briscoes and I personally would deploy Aries, Black, Strong and Edwards as Cruiserweights.
Exactly. I had him as one of my two favorites from the start, but I just don't feel that they use him the right way... But yeah, my thought was actually Eli and Khali, but then as I were writing it I thought of of Mike Know. I feel it could be a good way to develope Eli into a destroying Heel, and at the same time get Know back into action.
Hey man, good to see you back in this section. In terms of indy BTB's, Crazians Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem isn't really indy, but has been really solid so far, and Perfect Poster's Canadian Pro Wrestling is pretty interesting so far, though its still to early to say to much about it.
Glad to see Jae around these neck of the woods again though. And thanks for the shout ruder. As for the no namer question, with proper booking, anything can happen. Just needs to be slowly built and not rushed when it comes to a no namer.
Thanks for all the tips, I'm definitely motivated to do it, and very interested in doing it, and as Jae Jae said, researching the Indies and wrestlers is fun, plus if you do an Indy BTB there is much more freedom, and you can do almost anything with it, so I think I'll go ahead with something, thanks again.
Nah, that's the dropdown. The up and over is in a corner, where you run into the corner chest first, throw your feet up and over the opponent running in, and push off the top rope, landing on your feet behind him.
Jericho and Eddie held it in WCW. The weight limit for the WWE Cruiserweight Title was 220.
