~ No spamming
~ No arguing
~ Under any circumstances, NO "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!"
~ You can discuss other BTBs here, it's fine. Don't shill your BTB needlessly, however
~ If you have a question regarding "What Should You Do," just go with your gut instinct
~ Do not discuss the Tournament here. There's an official discussion thread for that purpose.
Or they try to make a trade by offering to make banners if you review their show. Even though their banners aren't that great and there's a request thread in this section. Hmm, wonder who that could be?
I don't mind this however although it would be annoying to see it occur all the time. But as you say, there's a request thread or you can just PM someone personally.
Goddamn, I think there are some AMAZING female talent out there. Kong, Del Ray, Serena, Hamada, etc...that said, I just can't be bothered writing out their shit and whatnot. Sorry, but dicks before chicks.
I can't do videos, tbh. Not just using them, I mean reading a show featuring them either. I just can't be bothered to watch them when I could be reading about it instead. Shows with ridiculous amounts of them, i.e one for each guy's Tron during his entrance, equals me not bothering to read it at all, basically. Waste of my time - makes the whole thing look cluttered, too.
Speaking of eyesores, that chica certainly is not. Who is she?
My $0.02 on banners, don't use too many of them throughout the show. Some at the beginning is fine, but midway and whatnot, especially when we've already seen them at the start, no thanks.
Melvisboy, your getting into psychology there with the Dibiase thing. We all know the psychology is one of the elements that either makes or breaks any BTB - Men, women or intergender.
I like how you point out a Trevor Murdoch huricanrana. You have to believe that if, in reality, Murdoch WAS TO EVER HIT a 'rana....it would have to be a HUGE ordeal in the match itself. Every time I see a Great Khali plancha, or a Murdoch Rana...they are just pointless spots. Not only is it hard to believe based on the god given physical abilities of the individuals invovled - but the spots don't even make sense.
Anyway, just take your time and post it when you are done, hell, someone (can't remember) took two or so months for one PPV. It was an epic pay per view though xD
A lot of my ideas trancend from project to project if they are able to. Most of my storylines in a projecr are usually rehashed from rough ideas I had in a former project.
In my WWE Chronicles thread, I had an angle that had just started between Doane/Carlito/Hardy/Helms. Helms had just returned from injury, Hardy was the US Champion, Doane was an up-and-coming youngster and he and Carlito teamed together to take out Hardy. At this time, Helms was showing signs of jealously toward his friend and was attacked by Doane and Carlito to try and get into Hardy's head. Each man had a clear way forward but I managed to mesh them together well with the story arc's piecing together well.
It's all about personal preference. Not every storyline and angle can be awe inspiring and amazing. They all can't be Stone Cold/McMahon. Sometimes, you just need to do things to settle things down or to just get through a period before the next big storyline comes around. I think that's the crucial thing. Doing all these unrealistic things in such a short amount of time is nor feasible, nor something I'd advise someone to do. These sorts of stories would have more to them if they were spread out and unique instead of just the norm.

You should probably plan the card for your first ppv... maybe have a list of who you want to fued with who so you know when to fit them in.
Storylines are usually just from the head, i like to start wth storylines between people who haven't fueded before and try find a reason to why they might fued. Over a title, number 1 contender, a diva or other things.
I'm sure greenchad would defend that arguement as he had one of the longest womens BTB threads. Like it or not, for him to stick to a project for that long, you have to give him some credit.
I also have major plans for my divas in my Smackdown BTB also. And kudos and praise go out to greenchad from me, because he sticks with it! People hark on about realism, but how realistic is it to just make it disappear within one post? I'd rather write for those women I know I can write a match for, and keep them.
My advice would be just to focus on making good, interesting threads again. I think a big reason for the lack of activity is the lack of quality threads abound. Once several of these things start re-emerging, everything else will fall into place. It always does.
We have Mac, Hulky, Legend, Wolf and now myself. Now its your turn. Step to it.
Double post, but who gives a fuck?
If no one gets motivation from the people that have returned to the section and are booking on an active basis, I don't know what to say. Part of the reason I'm back is because John is writing on a consistent basis, Mac is back, Hulky is doing his thing and Patman is here.
That old jobber Wolf too.
It reminds me of when I started out 'le chronicles. Around that time, it was the same situation. Mac and Legend were the top dogs and the likes of myself and Patman were trying in desperation to keep up with them. Wolfy meanwhile, was in hibernation.
It was a load of fun though and its reminded me of just how awesome it was back then.
^I used to have all those but my thread's go on so long that I can kind of use that as a reference to anything I may need... though if my internet went out, I'd be fucked.
He's asking if people would be interested in doing a combined type thread for the section, not if he should start a thread. If there's enough interest in it, then it may go ahead. Simple. If there's not then it won't. There's no need for senseless one way bickering.
Did you not interpret a damn word I said? I said don't START a thread you are not able to even keep alive! I meant don't start something, post rosters and then not post any shows, The hell is the point of THAT.
Because it would be "upkept" by whoever is next in line. Obviously I'm not gonna' start it without having some people in-line first or it'd die straight off the bat. The idea of having multiple people involved is for the creative side to benefit, not out of my own laziness. If that was the case I wouldn't be posting here in the first place.
Exactly. I came into this thread (rather than going straight to making the BTB) to see if there was anybody open-minded enough for a playful experiment. In terms of the actual bookers volunteering, all I see them losing is maybe however long it takes them to write a show. It's completely voluntary and therefore they just take two days out of their own thread to break loose from their own shackles, have some creative fun and maybe garner some new fans in the process.
Leroy said he'd be up for the challenge and I appreciate that. I really wasn't coming in here looking to rock the boat, just to gauge interest.
