Re: CM Punk: A Destiny Changes
June 29, 2006
Hello WWE Universe. Major news from the WWE Board of Directors just came in. The ECW brand has some new aquisitions. New to the land of extreme is a newcomer CM Punk. And returning is the King of Extreme Jeff Hardy! The trade that sent Jeff Hardy to ECW was impactful to say the least. The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry and Justin Credible are now on the blue brand!
The practically unheard of CM Punk is a self-proclaimed "Straight Edge Superstar". He is disciplined by abstaining from drugs. He has made some success in the indies and in WWE Developmental areas.
SmackDown anounces Rey Mysterio's World's Heavyweight Championship will be put on the line at The Great American Bash against Booker T at Mysterio's request.
There are rumors of managerial changes between the brands. No news at this point. But there is speculation of Shane McMahon's roll in the WWE.
Also, ECW announces a Triple Threat match for Number One Contendership will be held a week after the next ECW. No superstars have been named yet.
And last but certainly not least is the single brand PPV's. They are no more! Vince McMahon announces all PPV's, not just "The Big Four" to be held with Raw, ECW, and SmackDown. Here is the new PPV schedule in which all brands will participate:
The Great American Bash July 23, 2006
SummerSlam August 20, 2006
Unforgiven September 17, 2006
No Mercy October 8, 2006
Cyber Sunday November 5, 2006
Survivor Series November 26, 2006
December to Dismember December 3, 2006
New Year's Revolution January 7, 2007
Royal Rumble January 28, 2007
No Way Out February 18, 2007
WrestleMania 23 April 1, 2007
