Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem
Tuesday Night Turbo – May 18th, 2010
Reno, Las Vegas – Lawlor Events Centre

Tuesday Night Turbo begins with a quick video recap of last week's Turbo episode. It features moments from the two remaining UWM World Heavyweight Championship Quarterfinal matches, as well as Generation Next's win over Most Wanted (Chris Harris & Lance Cade). Most importantly, it features Gregory Helms' vicious attack on Daniels. The video culminates with Helms hitting the Vertebreaker on Daniels.

Loud cheers from a packed Lawlor Events Centre in Reno, Las Vegas can be heard, as“Pump It (Remix)” by Joe Budden hits on the speaker system. A video package featuring the wrestlers of Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem plays on the Titan Tron. As soon as the video package ends, pyro and explosion erupt in the Turbo Zone, as cameras show the thousands in attendance in the Lawlor Events Centre . The camera pans in on some fan signs, such as “The Angel has FALLEN” and “Charlie Haas = the next UWM World Champion”. The cameras go ringside before hitting the handsome men at the announce table.

Josh Mathews: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem's Tuesday Night Turbo! I am your host, Josh Mathews, and alongside me is none other than Jonathan “The Coach” Coachman.

Jonathan Coachman: No introduction needed Josh, as I'm sure the viewers at home already know who I am, but what the viewers probably don't know is that they're in for a show tonight!

Josh Mathews: They sure are. The UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament takes a break this week, but the final four are still in action, as they team up in tag team action. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin reunite, as the self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team takes on another reuniting team, The Phenomenal Angels, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.

Jonathan Coachman: That's a match for the ages, but one has to wonder, is Christopher Daniels in any condition to wrestle tonight?

Josh Mathews: No doubt everyone is wondering that right now, as Daniels was viciously attacked by Gregory Helms after defeating Helms in their quarterfinal match. Helms hit Daniels with a devastating Vertebreaker, and left Daniels unconscious on the mat.

Jonathan Coachman: No one wants to see a wrestler down like that especially here in Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem.

Josh Mathews: On another note, Paul Heyman announced last week that the number one contenders for the UWM World Tag Team Championship, the Hooliganz, will be in action tonight against the team of Delirious and Shark Boy.

Jonathan Coachman: Delirious and Shark Boy are definitely a weird combination, but it should be a great match.

“It's Time” suddenly hits on the speaker system, as Gregory Helms comes out from the back to major heat from the fans. Boos roar in the Turbo Zone, as Helms cockily walks to the ring. Helms takes his time walking up the steel steps before stepping into the ring, and grabbing the microphone.

Gregory Helms: Ev...

A “Helms Sucks” chants deafens the arena. Helms just smirks, and laughs it off. Helms waves his hand around telling the crowd to keep on going, but of course, the chants stop.

Gregory Helms: Ever since I joined Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem, my only goal was to become UWM World Heavyweight Champion, but last week...I lost that opportunity.

Pop! The fans cheer at Helms' loss.

Gregory Helms: Yeah...I know! I'm as shocked as you are!

Some heat, as Helms smartly uses the fans' pop against them.

Gregory Helms: Believe me...last week, Christopher Daniels got LUCKY. I know it, he knows it, and I'm just making sure YOU guys know it.

Heat.

Gregory Helms: Now you're probably still wondering WHY? Am I right? You're wondering why I attacked Daniels after the match. It's a great question.

Helms nod his head agreeing with himself.

Gregory Helms: Last week, Daniels talked all this mumbo jumbo about devouring my soul, tearing my heart, and making me join the fallen. Well GUESS WHAT Daniels, it looks like the ANGEL has most certainly FALLEN.

Helms begins to laugh, as the crowd roars with boos.

Gregory Helms: Oh how the high and mighty have fallen. I guess the prophecy didn't tell him about that.

Helms continues to laugh, as the fans continue their boos.

Gregory Helms: I only gave Christopher Daniels what he deserved...and he believe me, he deserved the hurricane that came through.

Mixed reaction at the hurricane comment.

Gregory Helms: Is he injured? Well, I don't care. The only person I care about is me. I should be continuing in the world title tournament. Me.

Helms points at himself.

Gregory Helms: Not him! It is an undisputed fact that I was the longest reigning champion in history! I'm a winner wherever I go...so it's only a matter of time before I'm a winner here. It's only a matter of time before I become WORLD CHAMPION.

Heat.

Gregory Helms: I'm...

“Mental” hits, as co-owner and general manager, Paul Heyman, comes out to an enormous pop from the fans. Sporting a nice suit and a cap with “UWM” on it, Heyman chooses to stay at the top stage rather than come to the ring. With a mic in hand, he speaks...

Paul Heyman: I'm completely sick of you, which means the amazing fans here in RENO...LASSSSS VEGAS are dying at each and every word coming out of your mouth.

Huge pop.

Paul Heyman: You know Gregory...Tod Gordon and I put our blood...sweat...and tears into this company. This is our baby...this is our love child so to speak, and we don't like to see one of our own down and out.

Slight pause, as Heyman catches his breath.

Paul Heyman: We assembled the best wrestlers from around the world to join Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem, and Gregory...that includes you.

Helms puts his arms out, and makes a gesture showing he knew that.

Paul Heyman: BUT...that also includes Christopher Daniels. And as co-owner and general manager of UWM, I have no choice but to punish you.

Pop. Helms kicks the bottom ropes, and begins to get frustrated.

Paul Heyman: And I thought long and hard about this. My decision is that if Christopher Daniels advances to The Massacre, and wins the UWM World Heavyweight Championship...

Pop.

Paul Heyman: You will not be able to challenge him for the world title.

Huge pop.

Gregory Helms: WHAT!?!?! You know that's not fair. You can't do this!

Helms is basically spewing at the mouth.

Paul Heyman: I can and I just did. So basically, as long as Christopher Daniels is champion, you cannot challenge for the world title. Oh, and I'm not done just about yet.

Gregory Helms: What else huh? What else?

Paul Heyman: I know your not scheduled for a match tonight, so I'm scheduling a match. Right here...right now!

Helms is walking around the ring looks completely flustered.

Gregory Helms: You know what...it's doesn't matter...it's doesn't. I'm better than everybody on this roster...

Trying to reassure himself, he mutters...

Gregory Helms: Better than everybody...

Paul Heyman: Then you shouldn't have a problem with...

Heyman pauses, and this frustrates Helms even more.

Gregory Helms: TELL ME!

Paul Heyman: JAY LETHAL!

Hupe pop. Helms drops his mic in shock, while Heyman laughs. “Mental” hits once again, as Heyman begins to leave the stage area. As he leaves...

** Commercial Break **

Coming back from commercial break, we see that Gregory Helms is still in the ring awaiting his opponent, Jay Lethal. Cameras go to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: Welcome back to Tuesday Night Turbo. Before the break, Paul Heyman gave us huge news, as he disallowed Gregory Helms from challenging for the UWM World Heavyweight Championship if Christopher Daniels wins at The Massacre.

Jonathan Coachman: That's just unfair and unjust. Gregory Helms gave Christopher Daniels what he deserved, and he made an impact. You can punish someone for making an impact.

Josh Mathews: That impact put the Fallen Angel in the hospital, and we're still unaware of his condition. Mr. Heyman furthermore put Gregory Helms in a match against Jay Lethal...right now!

“Static” hits, as Jay Lethal comes out to a pop from the fans. Sporting green and white tights, Jay Lethal dashes to the ring slapping a couple of hands on the way. Lethal slides into the ring, and gets set for action, but Helms doesn't give him the chance...

Quote:
Singles Match
Gregory Helms vs. Jay Lethal

Summary: Gregory Helms attacks Jay Lethal, as soon as he gets in the ring, giving him the advantage right off the bat. The ref rings the bell, and Helms continues his onslaught. Helms is outright vicious throughout this whole match, as he takes out his anger on Jay Lethal. Helms uses everything to his advantage from closed fists to the turnbuckle rope. End of the match comes when Jay Lethal starts to gain momentum, and hits an amazing front suplex out of nowhere on Helms. Lethal goes to clothesline Helms, but Helms ducks and the clothesline goes the ref instead! Lethal turns back to Helms who attempts and enziguri, but misses. Lethal hooks his arms in behind Helms, and hits a dragon suplex! Lethal climbs to the top turnbuckle. Jay jumps off, and hits a diving headbutt! Lethal goes for the pin, but the ref is out. Lethal goes to help the ref. While helping the ref, Helms slowly crawls over to Lethal, and LOW BLOWS him! Lethal goes down, as the ref seems slightly rejuvenated. Helms covers Lethal. 1...2...3!

Winner – Gregory Helms
On his knees, Helms puts his arms up in the air proud of his win over Lethal. As he gets up to his feet, the ref tries to raise his arm, but he swings it away. Helms takes a dirty look at Lethal before spitting on his fallen opponent. The ref shouts “HEY HEY” at him, and Helms just smirks before slowly making his way out of the ring. The cameras cut to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: Gregory Helms shows how dirty he really is, as he beats Jay Lethal using every tactic in the book.

Jonathan Coachman: It's not dirty wrestling; it's smart wrestling. And Helms won, so who cares how he did it!

Josh Mathews: Helms will learn sooner or later that shortcuts don't get you to the end.

Jonathan Coachman: And YOU will sooner or later realize that they do.

Josh Mathews: Whatever the case, after the break we have the number one contenders for the UWM World Tag Team Championship, the Hooliganz, against the team of Delirious and Shark Boy, but before that, we send it to the back with Leticia Cline!

Cameras pan to the backstage area with Leticia Cline and her guest...AJ Styles!

Leticia Cline: Hello everyone, I'm Leticia Cline, and I'm here with the “Phenomenal One” AJ Styles.

Pop.

Leticia Cline: I'd like to first congratulate you on your quarterfinal win, and on advancing to the semifinals.

AJ Styles: Thank you, thank you.

Leticia Cline: The question on everyone's mind is if you know the condition of your tag team partner tonight, Christopher Daniels?

AJ Styles: Chris and I have been friends for a long time, and what happened to him last week is something I wouldn't wish on anybody. I did get a chance to speak to him a few days ago, and he said that he's going through an immense amount of pain right now, but that wasn't going to stop him from competing.

Pop.

AJ Styles: He said that with all his will, and all his might, he'll be out there tonight and the Phenomenal Angels will be victorious.

Leticia Cline: That's good to hear. A.J., on a different note, how do you feel your semifinal match against Charlie Haas, and about tonight's match-up against the self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team?

AJ Styles: Charlie Haas is a great competitor. He's one of the best pure athletes today, and I'm glad to be facing him in the semifinals. Like everyone else here in UWM, I came here to be WORLD CHAMPION. To be world champion, I gotta be the best. And I know from past experiences, to be the best, I gotta beat the best. So Charlie, good luck and let's have a good match.

Pop.

AJ Styles: As for tonight, with Chris being hurt, it's going to be tough. There's no doubt about that, but I'm still gonna go out there and give it a hundred and ten percent. Tonight...

Out of the blue comes Shelton Benjamin.

Shelton Benjamin: ONE HUNDRED AND TEN PERCENT?

Heat just for his appearance.

Shelton Benjamin: Boyyy, you're gonna need more than that.

Boos.

Shelton Benjamin: I mean c'mon now; you're facing the GOLD STANDARD of professional wrestling...MYSELF... and the HAAS of PAIN, Charlie Haas. We're not called the World's Greatest Tag Team for no reason.

Styles gets in Benjamin's face.

AJ Styles: You're the SELF-PROCLAIMED World's Greatest Tag Team.

Benjamin smirks.

Shelton Benjamin: We proclaim it cause it's TRUE. The rest of the world needs to know that...and with your boy on the sidelines, things don't look too good for you, do they now.

Heat.

Shelton Benjamin: So I SUGGEST you get out of my face, go to the dressing room, pack it in, and leave if you know what's good for you.

Styles nods his head up and down smiling. He takes a step back, and looks to be leaving.

AJ Styles: Nah...

Styles turns back and clocks Shelton Benjamin across the fast knocking Benjamin down to ground. Benjamin doesn't retaliate, but instead sits on the ground with an angered, frustrated and shocked face all in one! Styles leaves the area now, while Benjamin lets out some harsh words...

Shelton Benjamin: THAT's BULL$#!T!

Cameras pan to the locker room area now. Matt Sydal is standing & watching the television set, and laughing at what just happened when the rest of Generation Next (Austin Aries and Roderick Strong) comes barging in with titles in hand.

Austin Aries: Hey...where have you been?

Roderick Strong seems to sizing Matt Sydal up. Kinda like he's measuring him.

Matt Sydal: I've been chilling out here. Rod...Rod, what are you doing?

Austin Aries: Nevermind him; we need you to do something.

Matt Sydal: What do you need me to do?

Austin Aries: Don't worry...c'mon...let's go.

The three leave the locker room area, as television sets of millions...and MILLIONS go to...

The camera zooms in on the little girl in the middle of the jump rope. Her face is pretty creep, as she smiles. The scene cuts to a runned down city.

Narrator: THE MASSACRE is coming June 5th, 2010 at the Lawlor Events Centre in Reno, Las Vegas. Get your tickets now or call your local cable provider TODAY, and order now. Witness a pay-per-view like no other as the MASSACRE goes down.

As we come back from commercial break, we see Gregory Helms making his way out of the arena with his duffle bag in hand. Leticia Cline runs up to him, and tries to get a word.

Leticia Cline: Hey Gregory Helms...

Helms continues to walk away making the beautiful Leticia have to walk alongside him in order to get a word.

Leticia Cline: How do you feel about the consequences given out earlier tonight?

Helms ignores it, and continues to walk.

Leticia Cline: How do you feel about not being able to compete for the world title?

Helms stops.

Gregory Helms: Trust me hun, I WILL be world champion. I'm gonna make sure of that...

Helms leaves once again. Leticia Cline is left in the picture by her lonesome. Cameras go to the announce table. Yippee!

Josh Mathews: Wow, Gregory Helms basically just promised he will be UWM World Heavyweight Champion.

Jonathan Coachman: And why shouldn't he? He's better than everybody on this roster!

Josh Mathews: I don't know how he's going to accomplish that with him out of the tournament, and incapable of competing for the title as long as Christopher Daniels is in the tournament.

Jonathan Coachman: I'm sure he'll find a way.

Josh Mathews: Speaking of Christopher Daniels, we have yet to see him tonight, and we're still completely unaware of his situation. Earlier AJ Styles said that Daniels would be competing later tonight, but we're still not sure. AJ Styles also gave Shelton Benjamin a mouthful before the break. Let's take a look...

A video recapping the previous segment where AJ Styles decks Shelton Benjamin in the face plays.

Jonathan Coachman: What a cheap shot. No one should disrespect the Gold Standard like that.

Josh Mathews: For once, I think Benjamin got what he deserved after disrespecting the Phenomenal One. Later tonight they collide in tag team action as the self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, take on the Phenomenal Angels, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. But right now, we have the number one contenders for the tag titles, the Hooliganz!

“Rocker” hits, as the number one contenders for the UWM World Tag Team Championship, the Hooliganz, making their way out to a huge pop from the fans. Sporting their all white masks, and funky attire, they jolt towards the ring. After sliding into the ring, they go to opposite corners of the ring, climb the turnbuckle, and do simultaneous moonsaults off the turnbuckle on onto their feet! “Eat Me” hits, as Shark Boy makes his way out to the stage area to a pop from the fans. Shark Boy awaits his partner from the stage area. “Hybrid Stigmata” hits, as Delirious comes out. The two begin to imitate the Hooliganz's pre-match rituals, as they jolt to the ring, and slide in. The match is on...

Quote:
Tag Team Match
The Hooliganz (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) vs. Delirious & Shark Boy

Summary: A good back and forth match with a few comedic spots from both teams. The number one contenders seem to be in control throughout the match with Delirious and Shark Boy not having enough chemistry with each other. End of the match comes when Delirious is taken out on the outside by a suicide dive from Brian Kendrick, which leaves Shark Boy and Paul London in the ring. Paul London hits a legsweep DDT on Sharky. London looks to the turnbuckle. London climbs to the top turnbuckle, and notices Austin Aries and Roderick Strong making their way to the ring. Aries and Strong both hop onto the apron. London hops off the turnbuckle, as he and the referee begin arguing with Generation Next. Brian Kendrick slides into the ring. Kendrick hops onto the turnbuckle before quickly hitting a flying five star splash onto Aries and Strong. As he does so, ANOTHER SHARK BOY comes from under the ring, and slides into the ring. The second Shark Boy grabs the actual Shark Boy, and throws him out of the ring. The new Shark Boy lays on the mat pretending to be laid out. Paul London sees that Kendrick is handling Aries and Strong so he climbs back onto the top turnbuckle. London goes for the London Star Press, but Shark Boy rolls out of the way. With London down, Shark Boy scales to the top turnbuckle. Shark Boy goes for a Shooting Star Press of his own! Do you believe this? Fans are astonished, as Shark Boy covers. 1...2...Kendrick slides into the ring looking to break up the pin, but...3!

Winners – Delirious & Shark Boy
Shark Boy quickly retreats from the ring, and joins Generation Next. The three are slowly walking up the ramp, as Shark Boy unmasks himself. It's Matt Sydal! Matt Sydal switched himself with Shark Boy, and got the win. Brian Kendrick and Paul London are in total disbelief. They go from having the match won to being foiled once again by Generation Next. Cameras cut to the office of Paul Heyman and Tod Gordon!

Paul Heyman: Did you see what I just saw Tod?

Tod Gordon: I sure did Paul, and I have to admit...that...was...AWESOME!

Gordon is in excitement, as Heyman just smirks.

Paul Heyman: As awesome as it was, I think Generation Next should face the Hooliganz once and for all.

Tod Gordon: What about their pay-per-view match?

Paul Heyman: Their pay-per-view match is still on...I'm just thinking we split them up into two singles matches.

Tod Gordon: Good thinking.

Paul Heyman: So next week...we'll have Austin Aries...

Boos.

Paul Heyman: Against...Brian Kendrick!

Pop.

Paul Heyman: And the week after, we'll have Roderick Strong...

Boos.

Paul Heyman: Against...Paul London!

Pop. Heyman and Gordon are in agreement, as Heyman takes a slight pause before speaking again...

Paul Heyman: And next week...the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament shall CONTINUE!

Pop.

Paul Heyman: We'll have both semifinals...AJ Styles against Charlie Haas...

Pop.

Paul Heyman: And Christopher Daniels against Shelton Benjamin!

Pop.

Paul Heyman: Tod...would you miss next week's show?

Tod Gordon: Not a chance.

Paul Heyman: I didn't think so...

Cameras cut to the always dreadful...

** Commercial Break **

Coming back from commercial break, we see Shelton Benjamin in his locker room feeling up his lip.

Shelton Benjamin: Man...he's gonna get it...

Charlie Haas comes in...

Charlie Haas: Shelton...you good?

Shelton Benjamin: Yah...

Charlie Haas: Let's do this.

Both men begin to make their way out. The cameras goes to Chris Harris and Lance, who charge into Paul Heyman's office.

Chris Harris: Heyman...we need a word with you.

Paul Heyman: And this is concerning?...

Lance Cade: You've announced a bunch of matches for next week, but you left out the MOST WANTED.

Chris Harris: We're not just some wrestlers, who you can forget about, we're Most Wanted, and we want a match.

Paul Heyman: I certainly forgot about you guys last week, but that's besides the point. Last week, you two didn't show poise, you didn't show great teamwork, and you didn't show me how good you really are.

Lance Cade: Oh...we're good...trust me, we're good.

Paul Heyman: I know you're good; that's why you're here at Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem. I'll give you a match next week to prove yourselves. I mean even Delirious and Shark Boy kinda won tonight. Next week, I'll put you two against two local wrestlers. Prove yourselves, and we'll begin to talk about bigger issues.

Both Chris Harris and Lance Cade seem satisfied with Heyman's announcement.

Paul Heyman: Happy?

Chris Harris: Yeah...we're good...

The cameras pan to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: The self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team get ready for the main event against the Phenomenal Angels. Shelton Benjamin's lip doesn't look to good though.

Jonathan Coachman: A busted lip is a minor setback; Shelton will come out here and show that there ain't no stopping him.

Josh Mathews: Well, before the break, co-owners and general managers, Paul Heyman and Tod Gordon, dropped huge news for all Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem fans out there. Next week, and the week after, the Hooliganz and Generation Next will be split up, and put in to singles competition. Next week Brian Kendrick faces Austin Aries, and the week after, Paul London faces Roderick Strong.

Jonathan Coachman: Even when they weren't in the match tonight, Generation Next managed to outsmart the Hooliganz so I'm willing to bet a little singles competition won't break them down.

Josh Mathews: That wasn't the only news dished out, as the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament continues next week! AJ Styles takes on Charlie Haas and Christopher Daniels takes on Shelton Benjamin, as both semifinals go down.

Jonathan Coachman: We still don't know what condition Christopher Daniels is in, and if he's even ready to go tonight.

Josh Mathews: Well...we're about to find out!

“World's Greatest” hits, as the self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, come out to a mixed reaction from the fans. Sporting their old matching attire, they make their way to the ring. The two choose not to slap hands with the fans, but instead get into the ring, and get set for action. “I Am” hits, as the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles, makes his way out to a thunderous pop from the fans. After doing his usual poses for the fans, Styles makes his way to the ring, slapping hands with some fans. Styles slides into the ring, and gets set for action. “Disposable Teens” hits to a pop from the fans. Christopher Daniels is nowhere to be seen. The fans, as well as AJ Styles and the WGTT continue to wait. The Fallen Angel doesn't show, and the ref says to Styles that the match must go on.

Quote:
Tag Team Match
AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin

Summary: Not much of a tag team match considering Christopher Daniels didn't show. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin use their tag team expertise to wear down AJ Styles, who has no choice, but to finish the match on his own. End of the match comes when Styles begins to gain momentum after hitting an inverted DDT on Charlie Haas. Both men are slow to their feet. As they get to their feet, they both charge at each other, and hit simultaneous clotheslines. OUT OF NOWHERE, from the back comes Christopher Daniels running down the ramp. He hops onto the apron, and calls Styles to tag him. Both Styles and Haas are now aiming to tag their respective partners. Styles gets to Daniels first, but Haas manages to tag Benjamin as well. Daniels comes in and rocks Benjamin with a clothesline. Haas gets up to his feet, and suffers the same fate. Benjamin gets back up to his feet, and Daniels hits him with a vicious reverse STO. Haas now gets back up to his feet, and is greeted with a stiff kick to the sternum. With Haas Bent over, Daniels hooks his arms, and lifts him up before dropping Haas on his face for the ANGELS WINGS!!! Daniels shoves Haas out of the ring, and waits for Benjamin to get up to his feet. Benjamin gets up to his feet, and is hit by another ANGELS WINGS! Daniels walks over to Styles, and tags him in. Styles hops up to the top turnbuckle. From the top turnbuckle, Styles leaps off flipping and spinning in midair before crashing on Shelton Benjamin for the Spinal Tap! Styles covers...1...2...3!

Winners – AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels
AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels are victorious! The ref raises both their hands to end the show...

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Turbo Feedback

Good to see Helms opening the show after his attack on Daniels last week, his promo was good and it certainly got more interesting when Heyman came out. Him saying that UWM was his and Tod's "baby" and "lovechild" sounded a bit odd though, and I think that Helms shouldn't have been angry at all when Heyman said he wouldn't be able to challenge for the title if Daniels wins the tournament, I think it would have been better if Helms played it cool and dismissed Daniels' chances of winning the title. Nonetheless, I'm pleased that Helms gets a match, and his match was Lethal was good but personally I would have preferred it if he won by hitting one of his finishers instead of ending it with a low blow.

Styles interview was decent, more or less sounded like AJ normally does and it got better when Shelton came in, who played his part well and got his cocky attitude across. The segment did what it had to do with hyping up the tag team main event which I'm looking forward to and I'll be interested in seeing how Daniels fares carrying an injury. Benjamin's expletives at the end wasn't entirely needed, though. I wonder why Aries and Strong need Sydal to do something? Helms interview didn't really give much away, but it has me intruiged as to how exactly he'll become World Champion. Maybe he'll take Daniels' place due to his injury?

The Hooliganz/Delirious & Shark Boy match was good, I loved the ending to it with Sydal posing as Shark Boy and hitting the SSP, very creative and it gets Generation Next some good heat as well as in a way putting over the Delirious/Shark Boy tandem too. The Gordon/Heyman promo was meh, didn't really like it that much but at least it served its purpose and confirmed the matches for next week. I'm looking forward to Most Wanted competing next week, I'm interested to see what you can do with them and I'm pleased that you're building up the tag team division, you've done good job with it so far.

I liked what you did with Daniels in the main event, having him make a heroic late entrance and hit both Haas and Benjamin with the Angel's Wings, and a good way to finish the show with the faces coming out on top. Still hoping for AJ/Benjamin in the final, though.

Overall, the show was good, most things I liked and not many things I didn't like apart from the ones I mentioned and they were just little things that slightly bothered me. The thread and the characters on the show seem to be shaping up well, so keep up the good work!

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Tuesday Night Turbo Feedback

New banner = really sexy. Love it.

Nice start to the show with a little preview of the show, as well as a recap of the happenings of last week. A particular emphasis being put on Helms? I love it.

Helms to now kick off the show with a promo? Even better. I’m a huge fan of the guy, and to see you featuring him like you currently are makes me very happy. Quite like the idea that Helms is talking up world title aspirations, as keeping him around that scene would be a good idea. I would have maybe liked to have seen him speak about his passion to be world champion a bit more, letting us know just how much it means to him, along with maybe putting over how much to UWM World Championship means at the same time. Still, have to love Helms’ attitude here where he called the fans surprised and talked about how Daniels was lucky. The line that the angel of Daniels had certainly fallen was really nice too. Very clever. The prophecy line was also a nice little dig, and I like the use of the hurricane line to talk up himself, using his past gimmick well. Heyman interrupting? I guess it’s a good sign that Helms is getting a chance to be in the ring with the authority figure. Nice to see Heyman putting over basically the whole roster, calling everyone a great wrestler. Heyman’s passion too was good in this promo for what UWM means to him. The punishment for Helms is something I don’t mind either, because it sets up Helms once again costing Daniels again and then the two moving onto The Massacre in singles action (well, at least I think it does. I could be wrong ). Nice to see Helms in action here too, and a good way to put over Lethal by making him seem like a big deal in facing Helms to finish the promo. Overall, while I thought Helms maybe could have really emphasised his points at the start, I still thought this was a good way to get the show kicked off.

Not so sure about the low blow finish because I’m not usually a fan of them, but I thought the ref bump did what it needed to for you. After having Lethal built up as a big deal as an opponent he needed an impressive performance, and that’s exactly what he gave. Helms, meanwhile, gets to keep looking good with a win, and have his attitude showcased with a nice prematch assault and the spit on Lethal after. Nicely booked match that helped all involved.

While AJ Styles is far from the most interesting character, especially as a face, I thought you were pretty much on key with him here. Even if it was a bit bland, I thought the promo served its purpose of putting over Daniels and Haas, along with the passion AJ has to be world champion. The line about having to beat the best was one I really liked, as while it’s kind of clichéd, I thought it did a good job in the way you used it. With another interruption from Benjamin it really feels like you’re building up to Benjamin vs. AJ, with more emphasis on the two clashing here. Benjamin’s attitude was pretty good here, showcasing some real arrogance which I think is needed to give him that extra edge. AJ flooring Benjamin was cool too, putting over his aggression well. Pretty good promo here which much like the earlier segments did its job well.

Roderick’s gay? I have no idea what you’re doing here, but I guess it’ll be interesting. You’ve got my attention.

Nice little promo for The Massacre. Show has been shaping up pretty nicely thus far.

Helms will be world champion? I’m liking my theory of him costing Daniels his match next week.

Very interesting angle here, and I have to say it’s pretty clever from Generation Next getting one over The Hooliganz. Not sure how it really fits in with the context of the angle, but it was a pretty cool little spot nonetheless.

Wow, stacked show already for next week with three huge singles matches which should all be of high quality. Certainly a lot to look forward to there.

Nice little hype for the main event, with a way to show how pissed off Shelton is after being owned earlier too.

Interesting little promo here. I wasn’t a huge fan of the “even Shark Boy and Delirious kinda won a match” line as it really makes them seem like jobbers, which, even if they are, I don’t think should be done. After saying that all of the wrestlers hired in UWM were talented, then going with saying something like that seemed kind of weird. Still, the most wanted line from Cade was good, and giving Most Wanted a chance to get some build with a squash match next week seems like a good idea since the tag division outside of the two teams going after the gold needs to get a little shove to look on the same level as the other teams.

Daniels not showing up initially, but then arriving and getting involved during the match was a nice little spot to give the match something different. I was a bit surprised you had the faces prevail with TWGTT maybe having a better history as a team and Daniels being injured, but either way the result seems to work. AJ getting the pin on Shelton is particularly interesting, and could perhaps add fuel to the fire in their feud. Nice main event.

To me this show seemed to be an indication that this thread is really starting to come along into its own and find itself a nice spot. There really wasn’t much that I didn’t like, and the way in which the show was booked all made sense, with everything having meaning behind it, which is always good. Hopefully this show is a sign of things to come, because I really think it’s your best yet. Hopefully there’s more good stuff to come. Good stuff.

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

UWM Newswire

The May 18th Tuesday Night Turbo received a 1.6 rating, which is the highest rating Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem has received yet. The rating beat out Total Nonstop Action's Thursday Night IMPACT! by 0.3. Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem's owners, Paul Heyman and Tod Gordon, are said to satisfied with their rating at this point. Considering UWM is just three weeks in, and already competing with TNA is simply amazing. Paul Heyman believes, however, the only way for them to compete with WWE is to not only gain another hour on their time slot, but also have increased advertising. The plan for UWM is to amp up their advertising, as well as rejuvenate their website to please fans. Heyman is also contemplating a half hour show online.

Management is said to be severely pissed off about Sean Waltman missing the first three shows. Sean Waltman has a history of this, and if this continues, management has no choice but to release Waltman. Rumors are that Waltman was suppose to start a program with Charlie Haas, but that has now been scrapped leaving Haas without a match for The Massacre. Management has told Waltman that he is not needed on the next two Tuesday Night Turbo shows, but if he misses The Massacre, it's the last straw.

The UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Final at The Massacre is supposedly a lock. Despite being around three weeks away from The Massacre, management has already told AJ Styles and Shelton Benjamin to get set for their matchup. It looks as though AJ Styles will cleanly beat Charlie Haas on Turbo, while Benjamin gets a helping hand. Creative writers, as well as Paul Heyman have not told Styles nor Benjamin who will win the UWM World Heavyweight Championship. Although Shelton seems to be a favorite, Styles is slowly garnering votes from the panel. Heyman said that it might be a last minute decision.

Chris Harris and Lance Cade begin their repacking into the team of Most Wanted last week, but it looks as though they'll be working on their character, gimmick and style for a little longer before getting into the title scene. Although creative thinks highly of both wrestlers, there seems to be no rush. There is also a rumor that next week Most Wanted will lose to the local tag team on Turbo. That tag team is supposedly going to join Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem. No word on the identity of the tag team, but rumors suggest The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens), The Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny) or the Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm).

With only 2 matches announced for The Massacre thus far, it is expected that another couple of matches will be announced this week. It is expected that Gregory Helms takes on Christopher Daniels, and Most Wanted take on an unknown tag team at The Massacre.

With rumors circulating about the signings of Jack Evans and Teddy Hart, one rumor has become fact. Teddy Hart has supposedly signed with UWM, and will debut after the pay-per-view. It is expected that Teddy Hart takes on a Hart Dynasty character. There is no word on Jack Evans being signed yet.

Preview up in the next few days.

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Not going to touch the ratings news, but all of the roster news looks pretty good. I didn't even know you had Waltman on your roster, but I hope you do utilise him because I actually don't mind him. Any of the tag teams would be good additions to the roster, especially The Naturals, who I love. Teddy Hart is one I don't give a damn about, but whatever.

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Tuesday Night Turbo Preview

As we head into the Turbo Zone this week in beautiful Reno, Las Vegas, the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament continues. On one side of the semifinals, the "Phenomenal One" AJ Styles takes on Charlie Haas. On the other side of the semifinals, the "Fallen Angel" takes on the "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin. Last week, the Phenomenal Angels defeated the self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team in tag team action. Mr. Phenomenal, AJ Styles, managed to pick up the pin on Shelton Benjamin after Christopher Daniels saved the day, and hit an Angel's Wings on both Haas and Benjamin. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels gained some momentum last week, but will they prevail, and advance to the finals this week? Or will the tough Charlie Haas and athletic Shelton Benjamin make sure no stops them?

Generation Next's Austin Aries and Roderick Strong will take on The Hooliganz, Brian Kendrick & Paul London, at The Massacre for the UWM World Tag Team Championship, but this week and next week, the two tag teams will split into singles action. This week, "Mr. It" Austin Aries takes on "Spanky" Brian Kendrick. With the rest of Generation Next, and Paul London of The Hooliganz barred from ringside, who will prevail in singles action? Who will gain some momentum going into the title match at The Massacre?

Last week, Gregory Helms promised that he'll be world champion. But with Helms eliminated from the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, and restrictions to compete for the world title as long as Christopher Daniels is still in contention, how will Helms fulfill his promise?

Most Wanted's Chris Harris and Lance Cade demanded a match from Paul Heyman last week, and they got one. Most Wanted will be in tag team action against a local tag team. Will Most Wanted make an impact? Will they show tag team excellence, and prove to the world that they belong in tag team title contention?

With four confirmed matches, Tuesday Night Turbo is expected to be TURBO CHARGED!

For this and much more, tune into Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem's Tuesday Night Turbo on ESPN from 10-11PM!

Confirmed Matches

UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semifinal Match - AJ Styles vs. Charlie Haas

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Show looks good Crazian, can't wait to see the semi-finals and I'm glad to see the Generation Next/Hooliganz feud progressing with a match between Aries and Kendrick and I'm interesting in seeing how Most Wanted do in their match, seeing as you speculated in your news and notes that they might lose.

I'll definitely check it out when it's up and I'll try to leave feedback.

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

As announced on last week's show, those are three huge matches that you've got for turbo, along with what I'm thinking will be a squash match. I'm excited to see what Helms will do on the show too. The obvious choice is for him to cost Daniels his match, but a promo to come from him too would own. Definitely looking forward to this.

PS - Thank you for the sexy SNME banner.

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem
Tuesday Night Turbo – May 25th, 2010
Reno, Las Vegas – Lawlor Events Centre

Tuesday Night Turbo begins with a video recap of the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. It starts with the “Phenomenal One” AJ Styles defeating Jay Lethal in the opening quarterfinal match followed by Charlie Haas defeating the young Ken Doane. The video then shows the “Fallen Angel” narrowly beating Gregory Helms with the “Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin's quarterfinal win right after. The screen goes to a split screen graphic with AJ Styles & Charlie Haas on one side, and Christopher Daniels & Shelton Benjamin on the other. The words “UWM World Heavyweight Championship Semifinal” appear on the bottom of the screen as the video recap comes to a conclusion.

Immensely loud and vibrant cheers from a sold out Lawlor Events Centre in Reno, Las Vegas can be heard, as“Pump It (Remix)” by Joe Budden hits on the speaker system. A video package featuring the wrestlers of Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem plays on the Titan Tron. As soon as the video package ends, fireworks, pyro and explosion erupt in the Turbo Zone, as cameras show the thousands in attendance in the Lawlor Events Centre . The camera pans in on some fan signs, such as “I'm TURBO Charged” and “Gregory Helms – Better Than The Rest”. The cameras go ringside before hitting the handsome men at the announce table.

Josh Mathews: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Tuesday Night TURBO! We are coming to you live from a sold out Lawlor Events Centre in Reno, LAS VEGAS! I'm your host, Josh Mathews, and sitting alongside me is my announce table colleague, Jonathan Coachman. Coach, is this place loud or what?

Jonathan Coachman: This place is absolutely crazy! And why not be? Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem brings you the best professional wrestling in the world!

Josh Mathews: There's even more to be excited for tonight, as we have the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament semifinals. AJ Styles takes on Charlie Haas, and Christopher Daniels takes on Shelton Benjamin. Last week, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels managed to beat Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin in tag team action.

Jonathan Coachman: Styles and Daniels were impressive, but that's not going to change anything. There ain't no stopping Shelton Benjamin from being world champion. Believe that Josh.

Josh Mathews: Well with Daniels out of action for most of the match last week with an undisclosed injury, it seemed as though there was no stopping Haas and Benjamin, but Daniels made the heroic save at the end of the match. But also tonight, we have one half of the tag team champions, Generation Next, as Austin Aries takes on Brian Kendrick of the Hooliganz. Generation Next will be taking on the Hooliganz at The Massacre, and this is a great tuneup match.

Jonathan Coachman: Tuneup match? Really Josh? Generation Next has been proving week in and week out that they're better than these Hooliganz. I'd bet that Aries wins his match this week, and Roderick Strong beats Paul London next week.

Josh Mathews: I'll take that bet.

Jonathan Coachman: I don't make bets Josh. That's for foolish people like yourself.

Josh Mathews: You ju...nevermind. Also tonight, Most Wanted's Chris Harris & Lance Cade are in action against a local tag team. Should be great, but right now...out comes “A Double” Austin Aries!

Austin Aries' own personal theme song, “Born of a Broken Man” by Rage Against The Machine, hits and fans, believe it or not, are going absolutely crazy for Aries. Although the majority of fans are booing “The Star” Austin Aries, there are a bunch that are cheering for him. Aries stands at the front stage and raises his UWM World Tag Team Championship in the air before making his way to the ring. With sunglasses and ring attire on, Aries takes the steel steps to get into the ring. Aries grabs a microphone from a ringside worker...

Austin Aries: The Star...Mr. It...A Double...and quite simply the Greatest Man That Ever Lived is HERE!

Heat.

Austin Aries: Austin Aries is in the building so you can cheer now.

Heat.

Austin Aries: What?!?!? No cheers? Are you kidding me? I'm a part of the BEST tag team in professional wrestling history...GEN-NER-RATION NEXT. We're the past...present...and FUTURE of professional wrestling. Do I really have to say it time and time again? Or will you fans understand greatness?

Heat.

Austin Aries: Do the UWM World Tag Team Championships around our waists not make a difference to you? More importantly, does being the best not garner some respect from you?

Boos.

Austin Aries: And yet you cheer for the Hooliganz.

Slight pop.

Austin Aries: Since day one here in Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem, the Hooliganz have done nothing BUT lose. Roderick and I beat them to become UWM World Tag Team Champions on the first ever Tuesday Night Turbo, and unlike the Hooliganz, we prove week in and week out that we're the best. Last week, not only did we prove that we're better, but that we're also SMARTER.

Aries smirks, as the fans boo him.

Austin Aries: Roll the footage...

Video footage of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong interfering with the Hooliganz's match appears on the Titan Tron. It shows another Shark Boy coming in, and throwing the actual Shark Boy out of the ring. The new Shark Boy eventually wins the match.

Austin Aries: Last week you LOST. It's what you guys do...you lose. So why don't you just bring out lil' Spanky, and let the Hooliganz's losing streak CON-TIN-UE.

“The Man With a Plan” hits, as Brian Kendrick comes out to a pop from the fans. With his half crescent mask on, Kendrick dashes to the ring slapping hands with a couple of fans before sliding in the ring. Kendrick grabs a microphone, and begins to speak...

Brian Kendrick: I've really had enough of you Aries. Tonight, I'm going to kick YOUR ass, and less than two weeks from now, at THE MASSACRE, me and Paul will beat Generation Next for the UWM World Tag Team Championship.

Pop.

Brian Kendrick: Oh, and about that losing streak? We'll just see about that...

Brian Kendrick drops his mic, and goes right at Austin Aries.

Quote:
Singles Match
Austin Aries vs. Brian Kendrick

Summary: A very competitive and delightful opening match for Tuesday Night Turbo. Aries and Kendrick put on a spectacle for the fans, and television viewers at home. Aries is the more powerful wrestler throughout the match with Kendrick being the more agile and speedy attacker. End of the match comes when Austin Aries begins to break down Kendrick with vicious chops across the chest at the corner of the ring. Aries grabs Kendrick's wrist and throws Kendrick toward the opposite turnbuckle, but Kendrick reverses it, and throws Aries to the turnbuckle. Kendrick charges at Aries looking to hit a charging shoulder thrust, but Aries moves out of the way and Kendrick hits his shoulder on the steel turnbuckle. Aries grabs Kendrick and lifts him up in the air before hitting a rather devastating brainbuster. Aries then scales to the top turnbuckle, and looks to hit a 450 splash, but Kendrick slides out of the way. Aries squirms around in pain. Kendrick grabs Aries' head, and looks to be going for his finisher, Sliced Bread! Aries manages to slip out of it! Aries gives Kendrick a kick to the stomach, and lifts him up in the air, and drops him for another brainbuster! Aries goes straight for the pin this time. 1...2...3!

Winner – Austin Aries
“Born of a Broken Man” hits, as Austin Aries slowly gets to his feet. The ref raises his arm, and gives him his UWM World Tag Team Championship. Aries rips his arm away from the ref, and looks at the fallen Brian Kendrick. The ref warns Aries not to do anything. Aries can be heard saying, “Keep losing sucka”. The cameras go to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: A fantastic match between these two high calibre wrestlers. Austin Aries pulls off the win after hitting his second brainbuster in the match.

Jonathan Coachman: Aries was right all along. Generation Next are winners, and the Hooliganz are losers. Mr. It further proves it.

Josh Mathews: Whatever the case, Generation Next seems to be gaining a ton of momentum heading into The Massacre, while the Hooliganz can't seem to pull off a victory. Maybe we'll see things differently at The Massacre. But for now, we head over to Leticia who's standing by with Christopher Daniels!

Cameras cut over to the lovely Leticia Cline who is standing by with the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels.

Leticia Cline: Hello ladies and gents, I'm Leticia Cline, and I'm standing here with the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels. Chris, last week, we were unaware of your injury situation and your capability of competing. You managed to make your way out for the main event, and pick up the win with your tag partner, AJ Styles, but Chris how are you feeling now?

Christopher Daniels: It's gonna take a lot more than a blindside attack to take me down. You see, they can't hurt you unless you let them. Two weeks ago, Gregory Helms may have physically pained me for the time being, but mentally, I became stronger...I became better.

Pop.

Christopher Daniels: Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, an hour, a day or even a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. Something much greater. If I quit last week, however, the pain would have lasted forever. I may be sore, I may have bruises, but that's nothing compared to how much stronger I've become.

Leticia Cline: Right on...speaking of Gregory Helms, how do you feel about his attack?

Christopher Daniels: Helms did what any sore, pathetic loser would do. He took out his vengeance when his opposition was unaware and slightly weak. Revenge is just a confession of pain. Helms could not handle defeat, and therefore confessed his pain. And Gregory...the hurricane sure came through, but I came out of it unscathed. You, on the other hand, can now not even compete for what you desire most.

Pop.

Christopher Daniels: Helms, you will never hold the world title as long as I'm here. I will make sure of that. The angel has fallen Helms, but he will rise up and he will be UWM World Heavyweight Champion. And THAT...that is the prophecy according to the Fallen Angel.

Cameras cut to locker room area where Charlie Haas is taping his wrists. In comes...Shelton Benjamin.

Shelton Benjamin: Charlie...you ready?

Charlie Haas: Of course I'm ready. Tonight I take one step closer to the UWM World Heavyweight Championship.

Mixed reaction. Shelton Benjamin actually chuckles a bit at the comment.

Charlie Haas: And after last week...well, let's just say I've got something to prove. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels may have gotten the best of us, but that was last week. This week...this week is a whole different story.

Benjamin nods in agreement.

Shelton Benjamin: You got that right. Last week was just a minor setback. The “Gold Standard” will not let something like that happen again. Charlie, there is no doubt in my mind that you will beat the so called “Phenomenal One”.

Heat.

Shelton Benjamin: And there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will beat Christopher Daniels later tonight. Then it'll be me against you for the UWM World Heavyweight Championship at The Massacre.

Charlie Haas: I wouldn't have it any other way.

Both Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin smile as they shake each other's hand. This happens right before the...

As we come back from commercial break, we go to the handsome men at the announce table.

Josh Mathews: Welcome back ladies and gentleman. We are less than two weeks away from Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem's first ever pay-per-view, The Massacre! With the crowning of the first ever UWM World Heavyweight Champion on this very night, it'll be a day that changes the history of professional wrestling forever.

Jonathan Coachman: You got that right. History will be made, a new champion will be crowned, and the dawn of a new era begins.

Josh Mathews: We still don't know who the two competitors in this match will be, but by the end of the night, the two finalists will be known. Two semifinal matches take place tonight as the “Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin takes on the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels later tonight, but right now, we have the “Phenomenal One” AJ Styles taking on Charlie Haas!

“Pay the Price” hits, as Charlie Haas comes out to a mixed reaction from the fans. Haas hops around the front stage area for a few seconds before making his way to the ring. With the look of determination on his face, Haas makes his way up the steel steps and into the ring. “I Am” hits, and the fans go absolutely crazy. As AJ Styles comes out from the back, pyro starts flaring around the stage area. With his hood on, Styles steps out onto the stage. As fireworks go up in the air, Styles lifts his hood off, and hits his chest two times before putting his arms out horizontally. The fans are absolutely loving it. Styles looks focused and ready for the match, as he walks to the ring, while slapping hands with some fans on the way. Styles slides into the ring, looks at Haas, and then goes to the ropes where he poses for the crowd. Styles gets rid of his vest attire, and the match is on!

Quote:
UWM World Heavyweight Championship Semifinal Match
AJ Styles vs. Charlie Haas

Summary: These two men put on a near five star match for the fans. With Haas' technical wrestling ability, and Styles' all around wrestling talent, the match is a dream match of sorts. The first few minutes of the match consists of chain wrestling and plenty of reversals. Honestly...summarizing it doesn't do the match justice. The middle portion of the match has each wrestler trying to break down their opposition. The finish of the match comes when Styles begins to regain himself after getting hit by a furious German suplex. As he gets to his knees, Haas gives him a nasty European uppercut. Haas tries to whip Styles to the ropes, but Styles reverses and sends Haas to the ropes instead. Haas hits the ropes, and comes back to Styles who leapfrogs over Haas. Haas continues to go, as he hits the ropes once again, and comes back to Styles who drops down to his stomach. Haas steps over and goes to the ropes yet again. Haas comes back and is greeted by a vicious dropkick from AJ Styles. Both Haas and Styles are slow to their feet now. Both are groggy as they come to their feet. Styles goes for a clothesline, but Haas ducks it, and hooks his arms around Styles' waist. Haas hoists Styles up looking to hit another German suplex, but Styles flips back onto his feet. Haas turns around, only to be greeted by a kick to the midsection. Styles puts the bent over Haas' head in between his legs. Styles lifts Haas up, and drops him on his face and body for the STYLES CLASH! Styles tilts Haas over onto his back. 1...2...3!

Winner & Advancing in the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament – AJ Styles
“I Am” hits, as AJ Styles is victorious. Styles receives the biggest pop of the night thus far. Styles slowly gets to his feet, and the referee raises his arm. Styles walks over, and climbs to the second turnbuckle. Styles poses for the crowd, as Charlie Haas slowly gets to his feet. Styles hops off the turnbuckle, and goes face to face with Charlie Haas. Styles extends his hand towards Haas. Haas looks to the crowd on the left, and then looks to the crowd on the right before looking back at the extended hand. Haas SHAKES it. Haas pulls Styles in closer, and can be heard saying, “You did good kid...”. The camera then cuts to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: After a hard fought match by both men, AJ Styles and Charlie Haas show respect towards each other with a handshake. Charlie Haas really looked like he was in control in this match, but AJ Styles prevailed in the end.

Jonathan Coachman: Styles sure was phenomenal tonight. He's proven himself thus far in the tournament, and I truly believe that he deserves to be in the finals. Whether he wins the UWM World Heavyweight Championship or not is a different question however.

Josh Mathews: Well, we still don't know who he'll be facing in the finals. It'll be either Christopher Daniels or Shelton Benjamin, but we won't know who until later tonight. Right now, we send it to the back with the elegant Joy Giovanni and her special guests...Most Wanted!

Cameras cut to the backstage area with the beautiful and elegant Joy Giovanni. Accompanying her is the team of Chris Harris and Lance Cade, also known as Most Wanted.

Joy Giovanni: Hello everyone, I'm backstage correspondent Joy Giovanni, and I'm standing here with the tag team of Chris Harris and Lance Cade. First off, why did you guys name yourselves Most Wanted?

Chris Harris: You should be able to know that just be looking at us. I mean c'mon...we're the best looking and most talented tag team in this company. The ladies love us, the fellas wanna be us, and the youngn's idolize us. We're the MOST WANTED.

Lance Cade: That's not all my dear. We're two cowboys causin' ruckus and makin' mayhem. With these looks and this talent, there's always a hit on us. I dare you to try 'n cash in on this. I swear to you...there is no chance for you.

Cade points out the index fingers.

Lance Cade: BANG n' BANG!

Cade and Harris begin to smirk with confidence.

Joy Giovanni: Okay there. Well up next, you have a match against a local tag team. Coming off a loss to UWM World Tag Team Champions, Generation Next, how do you think you'll fare in this match?

Lance Cade: Whoa there lady...Generation Next may have beaten two weeks ago, but tonight, we're a brand spankin' new tag team.

Chris Harris: You best be sure of that. Tonight, it doesn't matter what tag team we face...all that matters is tonight is Most Wanted's night. Tonight we make an impact. Generation Next...the Hooliganz...even you Delirious and Shark Boy, you better be watching cause tonight, we'll show you REAL tag team wrestling.

Most Wanted leaves the backstage area, as cameras cut to Charlie Haas walking back to his locker room. Haas' head seems to be aching, as he keeps pressure on it with his hand. Shelton Benjamin runs into him.

Shelton Benjamin: What in the HELL happened out there?

Benjamin seems quite angered.

Charlie Haas: What can I say? Tonight, AJ Styles was the better wrestler. But tomorrow...tomorrow is a new day. The kid's good...

Shelton Benjamin: WHAT?!?!? That punk thinks he's good. I'm gonna beat Daniels and then...then I guess I'm gonna have to shut him down at The Massacre, and take what should have been given to me in the first place.

Heat.

Charlie Haas: Shelton, trust me when I say that you shouldn't underestimate him...he's actually...how can I put it...simply phenomenal!

Pop.

Shelton Benjamin: Charlie, did you get hit in the head or somethin'? I'm the “Gold Standard” of professional wrestling...and that means, the gold of Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem belongs to me...

Heat.

Shelton Benjamin: The UWM World Heavyweight Championship belongs to me. Styles may have stopped you on your path to the title, but there ain't no stoppin' me.

Benjamin smirks, as we go to the always dreadful...

** Commercial Break **

Coming back from commercial break, we see Matt Sydal walking with his head down. Sydal is toying around with a Playstation Portable, as he bumps into Jay Lethal who is talking to a backstage worker.

Matt Sydal: Hey, watch where you're going!

Lethal is flustered.

Jay Lethal: What? You bumped into me.

Austin Aries and Roderick Strong walk into the scene.

Austin Aries: Is there a problem here?

Jay Lethal: Yeah there's a problem. Your boy here's gotta watch where he walkin'.

Roderick Strong: Or maybe you should get out of the way.

Lethal giggles a bit.

Jay Lethal: And why should I do that?

Roderick Strong: Do you know who we ar-

Lethal interrupts.

Jay Lethal: Yeah I know who you guys are. GEN-NER-RATION NEXT...the guys that are gonna lose their tag team titles at The Massacre to the Hooliganz.

Aries and Strong are angered by the comment. Hupe pop!

Austin Aries: How about you get a move on before we show you what we can do?

Lethal doesn't back down.

Jay Lethal: I have a better idea, how about you get a steppin'?

Roderick Strong cocks back his right arm, and seems ready to throw at Lethal, but Aries stops him.

Austin Aries: No...no, leave him. We'll deal with him later...

Unbelievably, Generation Next leaves Jay Lethal alone, as cameras go to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: A little bit of situation between Jay Lethal and Generation Next just now. Lethal managed to get Austin Aries, Roderick Strong and Matt Sydal off his shoulders.

Jonathan Coachman: Jay Lethal didn't manage to do nothin'. Generation Next has better things to do than deal with a no good, useless wrestler like Jay Lethal.

Josh Mathews: Whatever the case, Roderick Strong of Generation Next will be taking on Paul London of the Hooliganz next week on the final Tuesday Night Turbo before The Massacre!

Jonathan Coachman: If that match is anything like how Austin Aries beat Brian Kendrick earlier, then we should be in for a treat.

Josh Mathews: That's right, we'll see if Generation Next can shut out the Hooliganz next week. Right now, we're going to send it to the back with the delightful Leticia Cline, and her guest, AJ Styles!

Cameras go to the back with the always stunning Leticia Cline.

Leticia Cline: Hey there again, I'm Leticia Cline, and right now, I'm standing with tonight's semifinal winner, and now finalist in the UWM World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, the “Phenomenal One” A...J...Styles!

Styles comes into the picture, as the fans cheer.

Leticia Cline: Now AJ, you're obviously glad to be in the finals at The Massacre for the UWM World Heavyweight Championship, but question is, who would you rather face, the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels or the “Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin?

AJ Styles: Leticia, to be honest with you, I don't know who I'd rather face. What I do know is that each and every single time I step out into the squared circle, I give it my all. I accept all challenges, and I never back down.

Pop.

AJ Styles: I don't shirk away from challenges...no, no, no...not me. I keep reaching for that star...that sky...and here with Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem, that star is the UWM World Heavyweight Championship. I strive to be the best, and to be the best means to be WORLD CHAMPION.

Pop.

AJ Styles: I know it's everyone's goal in this business. Yeah...I know everyone's gunnin' for that title. But this is my chance...at The Massacre, it's my opportunity.

Styles pauses for a sec, while the fans begin to roar with cheers.

AJ Styles: So whether it's the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels...

Pop.

AJ Styles: or the “Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin...

Heat.

AJ Styles: It doesn't matter to me, cause I will step up to the challenge...I will be simply phenomenal...and I will be crowned the first ever UWM World Heavyweight Champion.

Huge pop, as the cameras cut to ringside. “Wanted” hits, as Chris Harris and Lance Cade come out to a mixed reaction from the fans. With matching attire on, and of course cowboy hats, the two make their way to the ring. They get into the ring, and await their opponents. “Natural” hits, and it's an all too familiar sound to most in the arena, as the NATURALS come out to a huge pop from the fans. In matching pink attire, the two dash to the ring. They slide into the ring, and it's ON!

Tag Team Match
Most Wanted (Chris Harris & Lance Cade) vs. The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens)

Summary: As soon as Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens get in the ring, Lance Cade gets prematurely excited and dashes towards Douglas looking for a clothesline, but Douglas ducks. Cade runs into Stevens who flips Cade high up and into the air, and out of the ring. That leaves Harris in the ring by himself. Harris charges towards Douglas, who greets him with a kick to the groin region. Stevens comes over, and lifts Harris up, and onto his shoulders. Stevens maneuvers Harris' legs onto Doulgas. Here it comes! The NATURAL DISASTER! Stevens pins...1...2...3!

Winner – The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens)
The match is over before it evens starts. The Naturals are impressive and victorious in defeating Most Wanted. Harris slides out of the ring. Chris Harris and Lance Cade slowly walk back up the stage with Harris needing help from Cade. Cameras cut to the announce table.

Josh Mathews: Wow! Can you believe that Coach? The local tag team known as The Naturals defeat Most Wanted, Chris Harris and Lance Cade, within a matter of seconds. There goes making a name for themselves.

Jonathan Coachman: Yeah...that's just embarrassing. They lost to a tag team wearing PINK for Pete's sake.

Josh Mathews: The ring attire doesn't make a difference Coach, but what does is tag team chemistry. The Naturals showed it with their devastating finisher, The Natural Disaster as they call it. Whoa, I'm getting word from the back that Leticia Cline is trying to get a word with Gregory Helms.

Cameras cut to the back where Leticia Cline, like last week, is trying to catch up with Gregory Helms.

Leticia Cline: Gregory Helms...can I please have some words with you?

Helms stops his walking.

Gregory Helms: I'll give a couple of words. What is Paul Heyman THINKING?

Helms seems quite infuriated.

Gregory Helms: I'm the best wrestler in this organization. I'm better than everybody on this roster, I was the longest reigning champion in history, I am the BEST.

Heat.

Gregory Helms: So how can you refuse someone like me...someone of my calibre a shot at the world title. What's up with that?

Heat.

Gregory Helms: I'm gonna make my mark on this company. I'm gonna make it KNOWN that I should be world champion. And believe me...you don't want to be in my way.

Cameras GO...TO...

With that being said, let's find out who AJ Styles will be facing at The Massacre for the UWM WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

Cameras go back to ringside as “Ain't No Stoppin' Me” hits. The “Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin makes his way out to some heat from the fans. Sporting gold tights, Benjamin makes his way to the ring. Benjamin walks up the steel steps into the ring, as “Disposable Teens” hits! Christopher Daniels comes out with his Fallen Angel attire on. Daniels makes his way down to the ring. Daniels hops on the apron, and poses for the crowd. Daniels hops in the ring, and here we go...

UWM World Heavyweight Championship Semifinal Match
Christopher Daniels vs. Shelton Benjamin

Quote:
Summary: Exhilarating main event to say the least. This night has been great in terms of match quality. Christopher Daniels and Shelton Benjamin only make the night better. The end of the match comes after Benjamin mistakenly takes out the ref with a clothesline instead of Daniels. Daniels uses Benjamin's miss, and hits an Angels Wings right after. Daniels looks to pin, but the ref is out. Gregory Helms can be seen charging down the ramp. Helms slides into the ring. Daniels gets up to his feet, and is greeted by a big boot! With Daniels being groggy, Helms picks him up and hits the VERTEBREAKER! O...M...G...the Fallen Angel looks completely out. Helms grabs Benjamin and throws him onto Daniels. The referee slowly counts...1...2...3!

Re: Ultimate Wrestling Mayhem

Turbo Feedback

Surprised that Aries opened the show, but I'm pleased that Generation Next's match with The Hooliganz at The Massacre, and the tag team division as a whole, is getting more build-up. Everything pretty much sounded good with Aries and I'm glad Kendrick didn't talk for too long when he came out, as he's pretty generic as a face especially with London and only a major overhaul could change that, which isn't entirely needed. Not too surprised that Aries won this match, but Kendrick or London, or both, really need a win next week to get at least some momentum going into their match at The Massacre as they haven't won any matches.

Daniels' interview was decent, it's good that you're building up his feud with Helms just like you have with the tag team division and the World Title picture but I personally think he should just say "And that is the prophecy" instead of putting "According to the Fallen Angel" on at the end. That's just me though. The backstage segment with Benjamin and Haas was OK, bit generic but once again with these guys it's not entirely avoidable, and it seemed a little bit dragged-out. Still served its purpose well though, even though we definitely won't see Benjamin and Haas against each other for the World Title at The Massacre.

Good match between Haas and Styles, AJ was always going to win but I was surprised that they shook hands afterwards which made me ponder a possible feud between Haas and Benjamin in the future, which I would like as long as you could make it different from the other threads where it's happened. BTW, I still think you should include match-times, it would be helpful. The interview with Most Wanted was good, I'm relieved you gave them time to talk so you didn't just throw them into their match and took the time to give them personality and more of a background. But still, the Newswire does not lie so I don't expect a win for them.

Ah, the Haas and Benjamin confrontation. I was hoping for this. Glad there's dissention between them, but at the same time I want the tag team division to stay strong. Benjamin/Styles is definitely happening now. Lol @ Sydal playing a PSP. I hope you don't repackage him into a gaming nerd, but at least it would give him some personality. Everything seemed alright here, and I have a feeling this could be setting up a Lethal/Sydal feud which would give Matt something to do instead of being Aries and Strong's buddy. Good to see Styles getting some time to talk to build up his match with most likely Shelton at The Massacre, sounded the same as AJ has in past interviews you've had him in so at least he's reasonably solid.

First off, I'm kind of surprised you said that The Naturals got a huge pop, as I don't think they were high-profile enough to get that kind of reaction but good to see that there's another tag team in the ranks and they got off to a good start with a win over Most Wanted, but I hope you can do a sufficient job in getting Cade and Harris back on track as this made them look a little weak but at least it was a quick match and hopefully when they possibly have a re-match in the future Cade and Harris and The Naturals can have a longer match and Most Wanted can get a win. Decent Helms interview, surprised at the amount of intervews on this show but it still does a good job and I lol'ed at Helms saying "What's up with that?" although saying he was the longest reigning Champion in history wasn't needed as it isn't really true and he was only the longest-reigning Cruiserweight Champion, and that was in WWE.

Glad that another match has been added to the card for The Massacre but I still hope you book more matches as three isn't enough so far. I think the Battle Royal will be a good opportunity to bring in some more wrestlers and expand the roster which I'm looking forward to. Shelton wins as expected, and AJ/Shelton at The Massacre should be great, well done for incorporating more build-up for Daniels/Helms into the match.

Overall, another good show from you, Crazian, and I'm really looking forward to The Massacre. Nothing too big to fault you on in this show although it kind of seemed a bit long for a one-hour show and I still think you should put match times into it. Keep up the good work.
