TNA: Making an iMPACT!
*PLEASE SEE WEEK TWO AND ONWARDS FOR A NEW AND IMPROVED, COLOUR SCHEME, FORMAT AND MATCH DIALOGUE*
Okay here it is...it is my attempt to book TNA in 2010 but i have made some changes a couple of changes due to how I feel about some wrestlers and so so on but you will pick up on it anyway. any questions regarding the changes i have made feel free to ask and i will try to answer as best i can.

Re: TNA: 2010 - 8 weeks before Genesis
Could use improvement. For one, take a look around the BTB Section to see some formatting which can help your show's presentation. Also, some info into your thread. Rosters, PPV Schedule, and so on and so forth. These help the organization of your fed. Use some color for your text, because monotonous text isn't going to draw readers, but don't craft a rainbow. Your matches need a little bit more description, as do your promos. Grammatical errors (especially capitalization) are abound, which is a detriment to any thread. The show feels rushed as well. Conclusively, I suggest you look around and then find your own voice in writing.

thanks for the advice - as you can see i have already put some of it into practice, i didn't really want to put too much detail into it yet as it could be a bit of a waste of time if no one is interested in anyway in what is to come, but saying that i can see your point - and yes it is a little bit rushed especially towards the end but that was because i wanted to get it on WF and get a bit of feedback. but will write it in more detail if people think the basic storylines do far are interesting.

Re: TNA: 2010 - 8 weeks before Genesis
SIZE="2"]WEEK ONE
Mike Tenay (MT): Welcome to TNA iMPACT!, what a night it was at Bound for Glory!. We crowned new champions and many feuds were settled. JBL, what are your thoughts on what happened last night?
JBL: Mike, last night was unbelievable and I have a feeling tonight is going to be another memorable night tonight. I cannot wait to see…
Samoa Joe’s music hits.
MT: Oh my…the Samoan submission machine, our world champion is in the impact zone and looks like he ready to talk.
Samoa Joe: first off…I wanna say its great to be wearing the gold around my waist in a company I helped build, and I promise to every single one of the TNA fans I will continue to help build this company until we are the biggest god damn company in the world!!!. When I arrived in TNA back in 2005 I always knew that one day we were going to be the biggest wrestling company going, sure we might not quite be there yet, but this is our year and I believe that without doubt we have the most talented wrestlers in the world today, we put on the best matches in the world today and we also have the best world champion today.
I’ve been talking backstage to the brand new TNA president Eric Bischoff about who my next challenger should be and he agrees that the only fair way to sort out the true number one contender is for us to have an eight man tournament starting right here tonight. The winner of this tournament will get a title shot against me at genesis in two months time.
MT: WOW!!!! What a passionate announcement from Samoa Joe…hold on…we are now getting word of what the four match ups will be tonight:-
Desmond Wolfe v Jeff Hardy
“The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero v Kurt Angle
AJ Styles v Hernandez
Sting v TBA
JBL: If this is what Eric Bischoff is giving us already then I cant wait to see what else we have to look forward to…but the big question is who is Stings mystery opponent???
MT: I have no idea, but if this is the same Eric Bischoff I remember then its going to be a huge main event.
Match One
The British Invasion v Generation Me
British Invasion appear to dominate with Max and Jeremy not getting much in the way of offence
Generation Me gain a little momentum but Williams hit’s a Chaos theory on Max for the pinfall.
MT: The British Invasion are certainly looking like strong champions, but my god are they arrogant.
JBL: There is nothing wrong with a little confidence Mike, maybe if you had a little more confidence like The British Invasion you wouldn’t come off sounding like such a whiny bitch all of the time.
MT: hey all I’m saying is maybe if they toned themselves down a bit they might start to command bit more respect from the Orlando crowd and their fellow professionals.
JBL: The British Invasion don’t tone things down to get respect, they gain respect the real way, they beat it out of their opponents.
Desmond Wolfe’s music hits and he walks down to the ring.
Wolfe: Shut it you morons!!! I am your soon to be number one contender, hell I am your soon to be world champion and its not before time. For years I have had to wrestle in this dive of a country in front of all you dirty yanks, sure It may have been fun physically destroying man after man after man but because I’m English I have been held down in the Indies its only because of my undeniable talent and hard work I have been called up to the big leagues. I will one day defeat the xenophobic views of American promoters and become the world champion, its about time I got what I deserved and anybody who gets in my way will certainly get what they have coming to them which is a short drop and a sudden stop in the towers of London. Jeff Hardy you listen, and you listen good, you had it easy, an American pretty boy in the big leagues, while I paid my dues in little known feds such as the HWA…sure I got to ROH, I fought the best wrestlers in the entire world, and do you know what happened every time I fought one of the supposed best in the world….that’s right…I won and I won easily, but because I wasn’t a home grown hero like “high flying, risk taking” Jeff Hardy I never got what I had coming to me, the chance to prove it on a worldwide stage. They call you a risk taker Jeff Hardy, well I don’t take risks, EVER!!! Everything I do is precise, every hold I will put you in later tonight will be painful, it will feel like I’m ripping you apart limb from limb, like I’m tearing muscle from bone, tonight you are going to meet the real Desmond Wolfe, a man with actual wrestling ability, not some kid who got it easy in North Carolina, play fighting with his brother on a trampoline, not a man who got it easy in the big time just because he had colourful hair and can jump off a ladder…anybody can do those things, anybody can be a backyard wrestler Jeff, no tonight you are going to meet a man who had to fight for everything he ever had from growing up in a rough London estate, to battling it out on the Indy scene, becoming the greatest pure wrestler these shores have ever known, tonight I will win and I will win well.
The Popes music hits and he comes down to the ring
Pope: Desmond, Desmond, Desmond…even if you think you deserve more than you have the Pope is destined for greatness and the main event at Genesis, oh yeah that’s right Desmond, Pope will definitely be pimpin’ at genesis this year, regardless of where you have been and what you have done the Pope and everyone else on the TNA roster has also paid their dues to get where they are today.
Desmond Wolfe turns his back to pope and addresses the crowd
Wolfe: Who is this wanker, another nobody from the big leagues who hasn’t paid his dues?!?!?
Pope hits Wolfe with a DDE to a massive ovation from the crowd
Jeff Hardy runs to the ring with a referee
Match Two
Desmond Wolfe v Jeff Hardy
Jeff hit’s a twist of fate and a swanton bomb for the victory in under a minute due to Pope’s devastating DDE, much to Pope’s amusement.
MT: that’s what happens if you turn your back on D’Angelo Dinero, Wolfe turned his back and he paid the price.
JBL: What are you talking about Mike? That was a blatant cheap shot. Just wait until Desmond Wolfe gets his hands on “the pope”, I bet he wont find it so funny then when he tears him limb from limb.
MT: The Pope was being verbally attacked, did you just expect him to stand there and take it?
JBL: Mike let me explain something to you, there is a certain way we wrestlers conduct ourselves, many unwritten rules and rule number one is respect.
MT: what about Wolfe then? Was he respecting Dinero?
JBL: Shut your mouth Mike we’ve got a wrestling show to get on with.
Match Three
AJ Styles v Hernandez
Both wrestlers have there fair share of offence AJ with more quick and technical moves and Hernandez as a powerhouse.
AJ eventually gets the upper hand and delivers a styles clash for the win.
MT: next up we have a handicap match up between our Global Champion Matt Morgan and the duo of Eric Young & Petey Williams.
Match Four
Matt Morgan v Petey Williams & Eric Young
Match starts out with petey and eric having much of the offence.
Matt Morgan then figuratively explodes and takes out his two opponents with two giant clotheslines and a carbon footprint each for good measure
He covers Petey Williams for the win
Eric Bischoffs music hits and he walks out but stays up on the ramp away from the ring.
Eric Bischoff: Congratulations Matt, a fine performance, some would say the performance of a champion - not many, but some…anyway lets cut the pleasantries, I’m out here to deliver a message, from someone who has been recently signed to a TNA contract, and oh boy…he doesn’t like you. TNA’s latest acquisition is without doubt the future of our business and for that reason he is the new number one contender for the Global Championship, he’ll be seeing you soon Matt…real soon, so I‘d be on the lookout for him if I was you.
Bischoff heads to the back leaving a confused Matt Morgan in the ring.
JBL: I love our new boss mike…he is full of surprises.
MT: I bet Matt Morgan isn’t too happy with our new boss right now, but I have to agree John…first he books a huge eight man tournament for the number one contenders spot and now this, proof that TNA is the place to be right now.
JBL: that is correct, TNA is definitely the place to be. Two things prying on my mind now though mike - who is after Morgan’s gold? and who is Stings opponent in tonight’s main event going to be?MT: I cant tell you the answer to either question, but Eric Bischoff certainly sounds like he has many hidden aces up his sleeve
JBL: Sting will be going into tonight’s match at a distinct disadvantage - he has no idea who is opponent is, no idea what their fighting style will be, long story short he has no time to prepare for his opponent whereas his opponent will have been fully scouted up on Sting for this match up tonight.MT: true John, but if there is one thing that Sting has always been able to do, it is overcome the odds and get his hand raised at the end of the night. Next up we have another World Championship Qualifier, its going to be D’Angelo Dinero v Kurt Angle, this has all making of a great match.
JBL: Dinero shouldn’t even be in this match after his cowardly attack on Desmond Wolfe, he should be stripped of his opportunity to wrestle for the title tonight and should be taken straight to court.
MT: you don’t seriously think Wolfe would press charges do you?
JBL: I don’t mean that kind of court, Pope needs to punished accordingly in my opinion.
Match Five
D’Angelo Dinero v Kurt Angle
In what is a great technical display from both men, they both hit there respective finishers and get near falls.
Pope once again goes for the DDE but angle dodges sending pope crashing into the turnbuckle.
Angle drags him into the middle of the ring and applies the ankle lock eventually forcing pope to submit
MT: what a great match two real athletes giving it there all.
JBL: Pope shouldn’t have even been there in the first place he should have been disqualified for his earlier attack on Desmond Wolfe.
MT: irrespective of that he is out and Kurt Angle is through to the semi finals, but up next is our main event which is Sting v a mystery opponent…who do you think it is john?
JBL: I’m not really sure mike, but I’m sure Eric Bischoff will once again deliver with this one.
Stings music hits and he comes to the ring.
MT: here we go, we are about to find out who his opponent is.
The music hits……………ONE OF A KIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MT: Oh My God!!! Its Rob Van Dam
JBL: I told you Bischoff wouldn’t disappoint
MT: you were right there
JBL: Rob Van Dam in the impact zone, what a sight
MT: what a treat, he is without doubt one of the greatest in ring performers of his generation, Sting is certainly in for a tough test tonight.
JBL: got to agree with you there Mike, RVD was one of toughest people in our business and it will be interesting to see just how tough he still is
MT: Rob Van Dam is someone who likes to stay in shape so this is definitely going to be a great wrestling match…thank you Eric Bischoff
Match Six
Sting v Rob Van Dam
It starts out as an evenly contested match with both wrestlers getting many of there signature moves off
RVD pushes Sting into the referee who then get pushed out of the ring falling to the floor.
RVD grabs a chair and delivers a van terminator to a dazed Sting in the corner, he covers sting as the referee manages to get back into the ring for the three count.
After the match is over sting manages to get back to his feet although he is still shaky, he seems unhappy with RVD and his underhand tactics…RVD hits him many times with the chair and sting is busted open and unconscious.
Security and medics come to the ring to get rid of RVD and get sting onto a stretcher.
MT: not the way we wanted it to finish tonight, why has he done this to Sting? When did he become such a despicable human being. It doesn’t look as if we are going to be seeing Sting for a long time
JBL: it sure isn’t a nice way to end a great show but that’s what happens when you get in the ring with someone who revolutionised hardcore wrestling.
MT: John what is wrong with your eyes are we watching the same thing, that was an un- needed vicious attack on a defenceless Stinger, RVD certainly has changed a lot since he was last seen in a wrestling ring.
JBL: I cant wait for next week when we are going to see Jeff Hardy v Kurt Angle & Rob Van Dam v AJ Styles.
MT: yes indeed john, join us next week on iMPACT where we will have all the fall out from this week and much more. Who is after Matt Morgan’s Global Title?, What does RVD have to say for himself?, What will Desmond Wolfe do now his world title dreams are gone? And Who will go on to finals of the World title tournament? So once again be sure to join us next week on iMPACT.
Havent done much detail in the way of matches but there will more to come on the next impact and they will be in full detail for genesis. cheers - reviews and constructive criticism is welcomed.[/size]

Re: TNA: 2010 - 8 weeks before Genesis
[
WEEK TWO
MT: Welcome to tonight’s iMPACT, we certainly have a great show in store. I’m here with my broadcast colleague JBL, JBL what are your thoughts on last weeks events?
JBL: Well Mike we saw the thrilling first round of Samoa Joe and Eric Bischoff’s eight man tournament for the number one contender spot and the chance meet Samoa Joe himself at Genesis with the title on the line.
MT: I have to agree with you there, it certainly was a great week for wrestling in TNA, but the actions of one man certainly soured the entire evening….
JBL: Yes indeed they did, D’Angelo Dinero, with what can only be described as a savage attack on Desmond Wolfe, leaving him in the ring defenceless against a merciless Jeff Hardy.
MT: There was nothing wrong with anything that the Pope did last week, he was protecting his honour, he was provoked by Wolfe. The man I was talking about was the debuting Rob Van Dam, his disgusting actions on Sting have left the Icon on the sidelines for an indefinite amount of time. But enough with the negatives lets talk about the positives as tonight we have a great show on offer for you and some great match ups, we are going to see the second instalment of the tournament for a spot at Genesis, “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero will face off against Jay Lethal, Our Tag Team Champions will be on show in a tag team triple threat match, and also Kaz is going to be in action versus Christopher Daniels.
ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT TO THE RING
MT: Here comes Rob Van Dam, he’d better have some sort of explanation as to why he felt it necessary to not only cheat during his match last week but also then viciously attack Sting after the bell had rung.
JBL: He did what was necessary to win the match.
MT: Even so, there was no need for that brutal attack.
RVD: Two weeks ago a I was getting calls from all sorts of people asking me if the rumours were true, am I really going to TNA? Am I bringing extreme wrestling over to TNA? As you know the answer to these questions are yes, I am here, RVD’s new home is TNA…so last week I gave you what you wanted, I gave you extreme wrestling, I gave you hardcore and what do you do, you boo me, you ask me “why Rob why?” well I say if you can’t give the people what they want, then I say screw the people, you may have been used to the fan favourite, Mr. Pay Per View, Rob Van Dam, well now its self centred, Mr. out for number one, Rob Van Dam, so I’m gonna say a big fuck you to you Orlando, Florida and a big fuck you to AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle. Firstly to you the so called “Phenomenal” AJ Styles, well listen up kid I was being phenomenal back when you were failing your midterms, tonight I’m gonna show you how a real world champion wrestles, and I think I’m going to have to teach you some respect for the real phenomenal one…Rob…Van…Dam!!! Now on to you Jeff…
AJ STYLES MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES DOWN TO THE RING
MT: Oh my!!! It looks like business is about to pick up, here comes AJ, he can’t be happy with anything that RVD has said so far.
JBL: Who does AJ Styles think he is? Interrupting Rob Van Dam…does he have no respect.
AJ: Now before you pollute anymore of the TNA airwaves with your garbage all I’m going to say is whilst you may have had a great career and you have been an influence on mine, I cannot stand by as you waltz into the iMPACT Zone, the house that AJ built, attack a TNA Legend and a personal friend of mine Sting, but you also come in and call yourself the real phenomenal one, ill have you know I have done everything there is to do in TNA, I have been the World Champion, I helped pioneer the X division, I am TNA, I am the People’s wrestler, I am the TNA Fans, so when you say “fuck you” to the fans, you say “fuck you” to all of the achievements I have had in TNA. So do you know what we say to you Rob if you want to come out here and disrespect me and the fans of TNA, we say fuck you too!.
MT: HEY!!!!!!! RVD just hit AJ with spinning heel kick!!!
JBL: Just what he deserved, how dare he come out here and disrespect RVD
MT: Where is RVD going now???….
ROB VAN DAM GOES TO RINGSIDE AND GRABS A STEEL CHAIR
MT: What’s he going to do with that?
MT: VAN DAMINATER!!!!!!!!!! GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!!!
JBL: Looks like he has something else to say
RVD: AJ Styles, don’t ever disrespect me like that again, and oh by the way our match tonight…its right now…Get a referee out here!
REFEREE RUNS TO THE RING AND STARTS THE MATCH
Match One
Rob Van Dam begins pummelling AJ Styles, AJ is struggling to get anything in the way of offence, RVD launches himself full speed in to the ropes…rolling thunder. RVD goes for the pin 1...2...kick out by AJ.
RVD climbs to the top rope, Styles gets to his feet but RVD delivers a devastating kick from the top rope, he jumps straight back up to the top turnbuckle, FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH and the pinfall 1...2...3
MT: It’s all over here, Rob Van Dam advances to the final of the tournament but it was hardly fair.
JBL: What wasn’t fair about it Mike, you heard RVD earlier on he is out for himself now, if that means manipulating the situation to his advantage then so be it.
MT: Well I suppose we will have to agree to disagree about this then John. Now lets take you back to last week…Eric Bischoff came out after Matt Morgan’s victory to tell him that someone who had just been signed to a TNA contract has taken a big dislike to him and that he is the new number one contender to his Global Championship.
JBL: Rumours have been rife backstage as to who is after Morgan’s gold and why he has taken such a dislike to Morgan.
MT One thing we are told though id that he is not in the building tonight, but Matt Morgan certainly is and he wants answers from Eric Bischoff. Up next though we have an exciting match up between Kaz and Christopher Daniels.
Match Two
Kaz v Christopher Daniels
Both Men have entered the ring and we are ready to get underway. The referee rings the bell and both men lock up, with Daniels getting the better of Kaz during the lock up , Kaz strikes Daniels to the mat 3 times in succession followed by a dropkick which also floors Daniels. Daniels regains his footing as Kaz runs to the ropes and back towards Daniels, Daniels hit’s the deck, Kaz jumps, runs back towards Daniels who hit’s a textbook arm drag on Kaz, Kaz gets to his feet, running neck breaker from the fallen angel, two elbow drops and a standing moonsault, he goes for the pinfall 1...2...kick out by Kaz.
Daniels runs to the ropes…gamengiri by Kaz…sending Daniels crashing to the floor, devastating manoeuvre. Kaz goes to the outside where he slingshots back in to deliver a leg drop to Daniels. Kaz goes to pick Daniels up by the neck…Koji Clutch!!, Kaz is in the koji clutch!!, he looks like he is about to tap as he writhes in agony towards the ropes…with one final effort he grabs the bottom rope…but it looks as if the damage has been done.
Kaz is sent into the ropes by Daniels who delivers a running STO and runs towards the turnbuckle…is it …it is…the BME…Best Moonsault Ever!!…it connects 1...2...oh my another near fall for Daniels.
Kaz and Daniels both get to their feet, Kaz catches Daniels off guard with a kick to the mid section. Turns Daniels around for a German suplex…two elbows from Daniels he kicks Kaz in the gut, Angel Wings!! And a pinfall 1...2...3!! We have a winner, Christopher Daniels.
MT: Great match there, Christopher Daniels picking up a much deserved victory, its always great to see fast paced, all action wrestling and that’s exactly what we got here…I’m hearing through my earpiece that Matt Morgan is on his way to Eric Bischoff’s office, lets join the action Backstage.
MATT MORGAN ENTERS ERIC BISCHOFFS OFFICE
Matt Morgan: Bischoff!!! I demand answers, who is after my gold?
Eric Bischoff: Hey!!! You can’t just come in here demanding answers off of me, I am your boss, which means I tell you what you need to know, when you need to know it, but don’t worry you’re going to find out soon enough who it is. Oh and one more thing if you ever come barging into my office again you will regret it and you will pay the price.
MM: I’m not someone who is here just for your amusement Eric, I refuse to be part of your little games and just so you know whoever your new lackey is, who you think will take my title, it is not gonna happen, I’m the Global Champion for a reason, that’s because I am the blue print, I am the perfect athlete.
EB: Oh is that right, well if you think you are that good then you are going to have to prove it, next week on iMPACT its going to be Matt Morgan v Beer Money.
MT: Matt Morgan certainly isn’t winning over Eric Bischoff at the moment but he will have a chance to showcase his talents to him next week when he faces off against Beer Money, but the smart money will definitely be on Storm & Roode for that match.
JBL: Yes it will, Beer Money are an established tag team and will certainly be looking to impress Eric Bischoff next week, speaking of established tag teams - our tag team champions The British Invasion are up against Petey Williams & Eric Young and Generation Me in a non title contest next on iMPACT.
Match Three
The British Invasion (Doug Williams & Brutus Magnus) v Petey Williams & Eric Young v Generation Me (Max & Jeremy Buck)
It looks as if Eric Young and Max Buck are going to start off here, the referee rings the bell, Petey Williams runs in from behind and strikes Max to the floor. EY takes full advantage of a startled and shocked Max Buck and begins pummelling him on the mat, giving Max no chance for a counter, in what is becoming a rather brutal and sadistic beat down of Max Buck his brother Jeremy climbs to the top rope and delivers a battering ram like drop kick to EY sending him flying across the ring straight into the British Invasions corner. Brutus Magnus tags himself in.
Jeremy pulls his brother to their own corner and tags himself in where he gets in a barrage of offence including a number of standing dropkicks one of which sending Magnus straight towards Petey Williams who tags in, straight away he grounds Jeremy with a clothesline and a follows that up with a snap swinging neck breaker…he tags in Eric Young and they go on the double team, sending Jeremy Buck into the ropes and deliver a double standing elbow. EY picks buck up and puts him in the pendulum back breaker followed by a dragon sleeper.
Max Buck runs in and almost knocks EY out cold with the shining wizard Max picks EY up on to his shoulders and hit’s a rolling firemans carry, Jeremy who climbs the top rope is quickly tagged by Doug Williams, Buck hit’s a perfectly executed 450 splash at which point Doug Williams enters the ring…Max goes to the top rope looking to hit a moonsault but is thrown to the outside by Magnus. Doug Williams kicks Jeremy Buck in the midsection and Irish whips him to the corner, knocking Petey Williams off the apron and to the floor and leaving Jeremy Buck collapsed in the corner. Williams hit’s a Northern Lights Suplex on EY, he releases to tag in Brutus Magnus but not before taking out a recovering Jeremy Buck with the Chaos theory. Magnus wastes no time whatsoever and puts EY straight into the Tormentum and covers him 1...2...3...The British Invasion win
JBL: Another impressive victory for the British Invasion there, they are showing the mark of true champions there, pulling off the win against two undeniably good tag teams. One question you have to ask yourself is - who, if anyone can beat the British Invasion?
MT: There are many tag teams on the TNA roster that the British Invasion are yet to face John. You don’t have to like Magnus, Williams and Terry but you have to admire there ability when it comes to wrestling. Speaking of great ability in the ring we have an exciting match coming up next, it’s “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero v Jay Lethal in what promises to be another thriller.
CAMERA CUTS BACKSTAGE TO D’ANGELO DINERO IN THE HALLWAY GETTING READY TO COME OUT FOR HIS MATCH
MT: There is the Pope warming up for his match with Lethal, HEY WHO IS THIS!?!?!
DINERO IS JUMPED BY DESMOND WOLFE AND BEATEN WITH A STEEL POLE
MT: Why is Wolfe doing this?
JBL: What do you mean “why is Wolfe doing this?” isn’t it obvious? Dinero cost Wolfe his chance to be the next TNA Champion when he attacked him last week.
MT: Wolfe ruined his own chances when he provoked a professionally trained wrestler last week, what did he seriously expect to happen when he started to take shots at The Pope?
JBL: Perhaps he expected a little more professionalism
MT: Yeah perhaps. I am getting word that due to the savage beating that was endured by the Pope, tonight’s match with Jay Lethal has been called off.
JBL: Good!!! Dinero doesn’t deserve the chance to wrestle here in TNA, he should be fired.
MT: Oh will you stop…despite this setback in the show we are now going to move on to our main event of the evening, and the winner of this match will face off against Rob Van Dam in two weeks for a chance to meet Samoa Joe at Genesis.
Match Four
Kurt Angle v Jeff Hardy
Both Angle and Hardy are in the ring and the referee begins the match. They lock up and Angle puts Hardy in a side headlock straight away, as Angle tightens his grip Jeff begins to fade, Kurt drops to one knee, Hardy breaks free and hooks his arms so they are back to back, backslide…1...2..kickout….clothesline by Angle!! Angle Gets to work on the ankle of hardy, stamping on it repeatedly…Hardy scrambles his way to the outside.
Jeff makes his way back up to the apron, Angle walks towards him but is met by a shoulder thrust through the ropes and a single strike to the jaw which leaves him dazed and he staggers to the middle of the ring. Hardy enters the ring and Irish whips Angle into ropes buts its reversed, Hardy comes back towards Angle, he baseball slides between his legs and he catches Angle with a flying elbow smash and then a nasty looking double legged leg drop to Angles groin and a then a stomp to the midsection.
As Hardy goes to get Angle to his feet he is grabbed by Angle in a body scissors and put into a rear naked choke, Hardy attempts to escape the hold by rolling Angle all the way over into the pin, but Angle carries the roll over and keeps Jeff in the hold, Jeff attempts the pin again but Angle once again counters but this time he rolls too far and Jeff is able to grab the rope and the hold is broken.
Angle throws Hardy to the turnbuckle…whisper in the wind!…Angle is down…drop kick by Hardy…Angle falls to a sit down position in the turnbuckle….Hardyac Arrest!!! Hardy picks Angle up and goes for a twist of fate but Angle counters into an Ankle Lock…he scissors the leg….
MT: Oh No!!! here comes RVD with that chair again!!!
RVD throws the referee out of the ring and bends the steel chair around Kurt Angles skull, Hardy manages to get to his feet but is clearly feeling the after effects of the ankle lock, RVD goes to hit Jeff with the chair….VAN DAMINATER…by Jeff Hardy!!!! RVD rolls out of the ring. Here comes the twist of fate for Kurt Angle…it connects!! Swanton Bomb!!! Pinfall 1...2...3!!!! We have a winner!!!!
MT: Jeff Hardy advances in the tournament to face RVD in two weeks, why did RVD have to do that though?, why does he have to get involved in other peoples matches?
JBL: He was trying to soften up his opponent for their match in two weeks obviously! Why shouldn’t he help himself out, if he has any chance to improve his own chances in getting the world title picture, why shouldn’t he take them?
MT: This isn’t right! This isn’t in the spirit of competition! Rob Van Dam you will get what is coming to you, you can count on that for sure!
JBL: Who is going to give RVD what he deserves Mike? You? No I didn’t think so, so I’d be quiet if you don’t want him to hit you with that chair!
MT: Oh whatever John, he still has to face Jeff Hardy in two weeks for the spot at Genesis, but as for next week - we are now getting word that D’Angelo Dinero has spoken to Eric Bischoff, who has agreed to give Dinero a match next week against Desmond Wolfe!
JBL: This proves how much of an idiot Dinero is, why would you want to get into the ring with someone who wants to physically destroy you!MT: Did you ever think that The Pope might want to teach Wolfe a lesson of his own and get revenge for Wolfe’s attack earlier on…either way its no doubt going to be a great match. Also next week we have the TNA return of Samoa Joe and Matt Morgan v Beer Money, but no doubt we will have much, much more!!!! So join us next week for another edition of TNA iMPACT!!!

Hey moppy, just wanted to say that this is a very good little thread you have going here. I like the work you're doing with the promos especially RVD's promo at the start. That was pretty good. You have some good content going with your matches. I like the tournament that you have going right now. Keep up with this thread and hopefully it will become more popular as people start reading it.

Re: TNA: 2010 - 8 weeks before Genesis
WEEK THREE
Mike Tenay: Hello Ladies and Gentleman and welcome to an action packed iMPACT and I’m here as ever with John Bradshaw Layfield, JBL how are you this evening?
JBL: How am I? I’m excited Mike, we have a whole host of great matches on tonight and I for one cannot wait to see what other surprises we have ahead.
MT: If this weeks show is anything like last weeks then we are certainly in for a treat.
JBL: Speaking of last week, we learnt who will be facing off next week on iMPACT for the main event spot at Genesis against Samoa Joe.
MT: Indeed we did John, next week live on iMPACT Rob Van Dam will be taking on Jeff Hardy in what will certainly be a real treat. But more about tonight. Later on Matt Morgan is going to be taking on Beer Money in a handicap match at the request of Eric Bischoff and we will also see the big grudge match between D’Angelo Dinero and Desmond Wolfe.
JBL: It’s about time Desmond Wolfe was given the opportunity to get his hands on The Pope after his disgusting attack two weeks ago.
SAMOA JOE WALKS DOWN TO THE RING
MT: The Champ is in The iMPACT Zone !! The Samoan Submission Machine is certainly someone who doesn’t mince his words and he looks like he wants to talk.
Samoa Joe: Firstly, I want to say how great it feels to be back in the iMPACT Zone. Last week I was given the week off by Mr. Bischoff, I was told to take it easy, well I couldn’t take it easy, when I tuned into last weeks iMPACT I saw Rob Van Dam in the iMPACT Zone running his mouth all over my show. When I was told RVD was going to be Stings mystery opponent two weeks ago I was ecstatic, I thought If he made it to Genesis we could certainly work a great match together, but now I’m thinking a little differently because there are things you shouldn’t do in TNA, especially a tournament I have organised, you don’t beat on a legend like Sting after the bell, you don’t jump AJ Styles before the bell and you certainly don’t interfere in other people’s matches. You could say Rob Van Dam, that you are the cancer of TNA, but then you could also say that I am the cure and I am here to stamp out all your bad attitude and all of your bullshit.
SAMOA JOE DROPS THE MIC AND POSES TO THE CROWD
MT: Samoa Joe with nothing less than a passionate speech there…directed toward Rob Van Dam, you have to wonder how does RVD feel about that
JBL: Well I think we are about to find out because RVD has just jumped the guard rail.
MT: JOE!!!! TURN AROUND!!!!
JBL: TOO LATE!!!
RVD BEATS DOWN ON SAMOA JOE REPEATEDLY
MT: Somebody needs to stop this, somebody needs to stop RVD.
JEFF HARDYS MUSIC HITS AND HE RUNS DOWN TO HE RING
MT: I said we needed someone to stop this and here he is it’s the Charismatic Enigma, it’s Jeff Hardy and he’s ‘taking out RVD with a flurry of strikes and kicks.
RVD SCRAMBLES HIS WAY OUT OF THE RING AND RUNS TOWARDS THE RAMP ONLY TO BE MET BY ERIC BISCHOFF
Eric Bischoff: Okay guys if you all want to fight so much, then you can, so Rob find yourself a tag team partner and tonight its going to be Rob Van Dam and a partner of his choosing versus Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy!!!!!
MT: Huge announcement there from Eric Bischoff for tonight, I have to wonder though who will RVD pick as his partner? But up next we have Petey Williams against Christopher Daniels
Match One
Petey Williams v Christopher Daniels
Both men lock up in what appears to be a struggle for the upper hand, not much more time passes before Petey Williams connects with a knee to midsection, he applies a front face lock to Daniels, he continues to punish Daniels with two more knees to the chest, Daniels falls to the floor but is picked up by Williams who once again kicks to the midsection….Canadian Destroyer!!! NO!!! reversed by Daniels with a back body drop. Petey Williams jumps to his feet only to be hit with a dropkick and a then a standing monkey flip sending Williams crashing to the canvas.
Williams lies on his front dazed as Daniels approaches him and oh my god he has Williams in the crossface, Williams is going to have to tap…no wait he gets his arm free and breaks the hold. They both quickly get to their feet, leg lariat by Williams, Cradle DDT but Williams holds on to put Daniels in a face lock, Daniels who was left with stars in his eyes from the DDT is now struggling to get out of the face lock applied by Petey Williams. Christopher Daniels struggles to his feet still in the face lock…northern lights suplex hit by Daniels…he is out of the hold.
Daniels sees Williams on the floor, he goes to the turnbuckle, BME! and a pinfall 1...2...kick out. As both men slowly get to their feet clothesline by Williams and but Daniels replies with a devastating version of the last rights!! Koji Clutch….Williams taps out! Its all over another win for Christopher Daniels.
MT: Christopher Daniels has certainly showed us what he is capable of over the last two weeks and if he continues to wrestle like this over next few then Eric Bischoff is certainly going to have to take notice of the Fallen Angel.
DESMOND WOLFE IS BACKSTAGE BEING INTERVIEWED BY JEREMY BORASH
JB: I’m here with Desmond Wolfe who is in action later tonight against “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero. Last week you attacked “Pope” before his match, I have to ask why?
Desmond Wolfe: Why did I attack D’Angelo Dinero? I’ll tell you why, two weeks ago I went out to the iMPACT Zone to inform everyone that I Desmond Wolfe was going to win the eight man tournament for the chance to take on Samoa Joe at Genesis, but I was interrupted and then attacked from behind for no reason whatsoever, so last week I gave Pope a taste of his own medicine, but he goes crying to Eric Bischoff and calls me out for a match tonight, who does this guy think he is? He hasn’t ever taken on anyone like me before, never someone so technically astute and most importantly never someone who could and will end his career tonight. You cost me my chance at the title Pope! And now I’m gonna cost you your chance at a wrestling career…I will destroy you!!!
JB: Strong words from Desmond Wolfe there, one thing is for certain and that is that he will not rest until Pope’s career in wrestling is over.
MT: Thank you JB, wow Desmond Wolfe is really out for blood tonight.
JBL: If was Pope, I would not be walking out to the ring tonight for sure, well he may walk out to the ring tonight but he almost certainly wont be walking back
MT: We don’t know that John, The Pope may yet have a few surprises for Wolfe later on tonight. Coming up next we have a three on three tag match with our tag champs The British Invasion taking on Lethal Consequences and Amazing Red.
Match Two
The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams & Rob Terry) v Lethal Consequences (Jay Lethal & Consequences Creed) & Amazing Red
The Match begins with Doug Williams and Jay Lethal trading blows before Williams capitalises on Lethal making a mistake and he takes Lethal out with a clothesline followed up by a set of devastating mix of kicks and stomps and he tags in big Rob Terry who throws Lethal around the ring like a rag doll. Terry sends Lethal to the ropes and hit’s a jumping spin kick. Magnus is tagged in and begins to work on the back of Lethal by setting him up in a boston crab.
Creed runs into the ring to break up the submission and beats down on Brutus Magnus long enough that Jay Lethal can tag in Amazing Red who comes in and instantly takes the upper hand with a satellite DDT but Rob Terry runs in and gives a punt to the head of Red followed by a running power slam whilst Doug Williams takes out Lethal Consequences leaving Magnus to cover for the three count.
WE CUT BACKSTAGE TO AJ STYLES IN THE LOCKER ROOM - ENTER MICK FOLEY
MF: Hey AJ!, I can’t believe what RVD did last week man, how you feeling?
AJ: Not good, I could have won the tournament, it could have been “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles versus Samoa Joe once again…but I was robbed by that…
MF: Hey, hey, hey calm down. Don’t worry about what happened last week, I’ve seen you in the ring and I know you have what it takes to the champ once again.
AJ: Thanks Mick.
MF: If you ever need to talk, just give me a shout, I’ve got a lot of time for you kid.
MT: Encouraging words there from Mick Foley to what must be a really down and out AJ Styles right now.
JBL: Yeah I know Mick real well, he is definitely the nicest guy you could wish to meet in this business but he may be on to a lost cause with young AJ.
MT: Don’t count AJ out of anything John, he has done everything there is to do here in TNA and I’m as sure as Foley is that he will do it all again. Coming up next we have the huge grudge match between D’Angelo Dinero and Desmond Wolfe, you don’t want to miss this one!
Match Three
Desmond Wolfe v “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero
Here we go with one of the most anticipated matches of the year as Desmond Wolfe and “The Pope” finally get a chance to battle it out. Wolfe and Pope walk towards each other, each with their own cocky swagger. Slap to the face of Pope by Wolfe…Pimpslap to Wolfe, and another but it looks like Wolfe has had enough of this tomfoolery and he floors Pope with a huge right hand and immediately plants on a cross legged STF, it looks like he wants to go for the kill early on but Pope manages to get to the ropes to release the hold.
With both men back on their feet, Pope this time takes advantage after ducking the Lariat attempt by Wolfe he hit’s a perfect dropkick to send Wolfe flying to the corner of the ring…Outer Limitz Elbow connects and Pope goes for the pinfall 1...2...kick out, a move like that, although effective is not going to end this match.
Pope lifts Wolfe to his feet and sends him into the ropes and hit’s an elbow smash sending him spinning into the middle rope…coronation by Pope. Desmond Wolfe certainly has his work cut out for him now that pope is on such a roll.
Pope climbs back up to the mat and is caught by Wolfe and put straight into the London Dungeon, the referee counts 1, 2, 3, 4...and he releases the hold and Pope falls to the outside leaving Wolfe in the ring to gloat to he crowd.
Wolfe waits patiently in the ring for his opponent and as Pope look to get back into the ring he is firmly set in Wolfe’s sights he once again goes for the Lariat but once again Pope ducks and delivers not one, not two but three huge German suplex’s. Pope climbs the turnbuckle to bask in the glory of his delighted fans, he jumps off the top looking to hit the flying forearm smash…it misses and Wolfe locks in the Gogoplata…sending an immobile Pope, seemingly unresponsive to the mat as Wolfe breaks the hold, he heads to the outside and grabs a steel chair.
DESMOND WOLFE GRABS A MIC
DW: Eric Bischoff get out here now!!!
ENTER ERIC BISCHOFF
DW: I know you like ratings and I know you like controversy so make this match a no DQ match right now!!
EB: Ha-ha sure, you got it - This match is now officially a No Disqualification Match!
Desmond Wolfe plants the chair in the corner of the ring just so it covers the top turnbuckle. He picks up Pope and sends him into the turnbuckle crashing into the chair, Wolfe runs towards him with that devastating Lariat once more looking to connect…he connects! But not with Pope…but the steel chair. This is quickly capitalised on by a dazed Pope…DDE to Wolfe whose chest compresses between the sheer force of Dinero and the Steel Chair…pinfall 1...2...3...we have a winner, Desmond Wolfe was the making of his own downfall here and Pope capitalises for the win.
MT: Well we were treated to a real wrestling clinic there despite Desmond Wolfe’s best attempts to sour the night by trying to end Pope’s career. It sure will be interesting to see where both men will go from here.
JBL: There is nothing better to see in TNA than two guys who really hate each other go at it, it was just too bad that the cocky D’Angelo Dinero got the victory and not Desmond Wolfe who has been nothing less than humiliated by Dinero on two occasions now.
MT: On both occasions Wolfe brought it on himself to be humiliated, you could argue that he had the match won but he had to prove a point and try to end The Popes career but it didn’t work at all how he planned it and he paid the price. In what we hope will be an equally exciting match up we will see Kurt Angle facing off against Shannon Moore next on iMPACT.
Match Four
Kurt Angle v Shannon Moore
The referee rings the bell and immediately Shannon Moore goes on the offence and lands three right hands square to the jaw of Angle, he runs to the ropes only to be met by a devastating belly to belly suplex by Angle…Ankle Lock…Moore taps out immediately.
KURT ANGLE GRABS A MIC
KA: Earlier on tonight we saw AJ Styles crying about how he could do this and he could do that, well I say shut your god damn mouth AJ! Here in TNA its not about what you could do, its about what you can do…so why don’t you run on back to the X Division like a good little boy and do what you do best which is fly around the ring like the spot monkey you are! Leave the real wrestling to the big boys like me, the guys who really built TNA, The big time wrestlers, did you hear that AJ? Wrestlers, people with actual technical skill. It tells you everything you need to know about AJ Styles when he is getting wrestling advice from a glorified stuntman like Mick Foley.
MT: Some harsh words for AJ Styles there from Kurt Angle.
JBL: Sometimes Mike you have to be cruel to be kind, he’s just putting AJ in his place.
MT: AJ Styles deserves to be at the top of the ladder as long as he performs like a true champion just the same as anyone else in TNA. In a match made by Eric Bischoff last week Matt Morgan will face off against Beer Money next!
Match Five
Matt Morgan v Beer Money (James Storm & Robert Roode)
The Match begins with a no holds barred attack on Morgan by Storm & Roode who look to take the early advantage in the match, they deliver simultaneous kicks to a grounded Matt Morgan, he is picked up by Roode and thrown into the ropes…double clothesline by Morgan. Storm is thrown to the outside…Carbon Footprint to Roode.
THE LIGHTS GO OUT FOR FIVE SECONDS
MT: What is this? Wait who is that in the ring with Matt Morgan?
JBL: That’s Ken Anderson!!
Anderson delivers a Mic Check to Matt Morgan and referee rings the bell for a DQ.
MT: What is he doing in TNA?
JBL: He has to be the guy Bischoff was talking about!
MT: Ken Anderson is the new number one contender for the Global Title?! This is Huge!
JBL: It sure is Mike I cant wait to see all the fall out from this one.
MT: Next up we have our main event where Jeff Hardy & Samoa Joe will take on RVD and a partner of his choosing…I wonder who it will be?
Match Six
Jeff Hardy & Samoa Joe v Rob Van Dam & T.B.A
All three confirmed combatants make their way to the ring as RVD grabs the mic.
RVD: I have been searching backstage for someone who I felt was worthy of tagging with me - RVD, but I failed. So I picked the next best thing someone who loves mayhem and pain and certainly can mix it up with the best of them…The Monster Abyss!!!
Samoa Joe and Abyss start the match with both men trying to capitalise on their immense strength but Joe gets the better of him and uses his trained feet to kick Abyss down to one knee and runs in off the ropes to deliver a shining wizard! He tags in Jeff who goes to work on Abyss in the only way he knows how, pure offence leaving Abyss a crumpled mess on the canvas. He picks Abyss up and sends him into the ropes…double clothesline!!! Both men are on the floor and now struggling towards their respective corners. Samoa Joe waits with an outstretched arm as both men inch toward the turnbuckle. Jeff Hardy tags in Joe as Abyss makes it to his corner but RVD jumps down from the canvas and makes his way backstage leaving Abyss all alone to face the wrath of Samoa Joe who puts him in the Clutch forcing Abyss to submit.
After the match is over an injured Abyss lie motionless on the floor and Samoa Joe tells Hardy to hit a Swanton, he climbs to the top rope but is hit with a cheap shot by Joe who takes him out with the Muscle Buster!!!!
MT: It looks like Samoa Joe really wanted to send a message out tonight and boy did he not only getting Abyss to submit but also taking out Jeff Hardy with a Muscle Buster.
JBL: He is really laying down the law in TNA, but what a smart move by RVD using Abyss as the fall guy meaning next week he will be going into his match against Jeff Hardy at 100% whereas Jeff may still be feeling the after effects of that Muscle Buster.
MT: Couldn’t say it better myself, although devious and morally wrong RVD has given himself the upper hand next week on iMPACT. Next week not only do we have Jeff Hardy v Rob Van Dam, we will have all the fallout from Ken Andersons shocking debut tonight and much, much more so its goodnight from myself Mike Tenay and my broadcast colleague John Bradshaw Layfield, don’t forget to join us once again next week on TNA iMPACT!
