Can't be bothered to post a preview, as I wanted to post this show at least a week ago. But here it is, not one I was too happy with but whatever.

TNA iMPACT! - July 29 - Philadelphia, PA

*The show opens with the opening credits before the camera cuts to The Arena where the fans are chanting TNA. We then go to the announce table with Mike Tenay and Mick Foley*

Tenay - On our final night here in Philadelphia, welcome to TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! I'm Mike Tenay alongside 'The Hardcore Legend' Mick Foley and in our last night in the City of Brotherly Love, we have a big show for you tonight on Spike, folks.

Foley - I couldn't agree more, Mike, we've got a big main event tonight as 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles squares off against Fortune's own Desmond Wolfe.

Tenay - Wolfe was on the winning side when he and the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Anderson defeated Styles and the #1 contender to Anderson's title on August 8 at Hard Justice, Jeff Hardy, in last week's tag team main event, so Wolfe will want to get another win with the now-departed Rob Van Dam's shadow still looming.

Foley - Plus, we will hear from Robert Roode via satellite just over two weeks after sustaining a concussion at the hands of Chris Harris during Roode's Street Fight against James Storm at Victory Road, and two of the three men who Christopher Daniels will have to defend his TNA X Division Championship at the pay per view, Jay Lethal and Kazarian, face off!

Tenay - Also tonight, the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns are in action against Team 3D and Tara returns to action for the first time in over a month against a former TNA Knockouts Champion, Taylor Wilde!

"Catholifunk" hits and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero walks out, getting a good pop from the crowd. Wearing a black bandana, vest and pants with sunglasses and a gold medallion around his neck, Dinero walks down the ramp with a fixed smirk on his face and steps into the ring. Dinero then takes a microphone from SoCal Val.

Dinero - Without any further ado... Pope would like to welcome his congregation here in Philadelphia...

Cheap pop from the crowd.

Dinero - ... to the only two hours of the week where you can see Pope at his best, TNA iMPACT!

More cheers for Dinero.

Dinero - Philly is known as "The City of Brotherly Love", but there's one guy in TNA right now that Pope doesn't have much love for, and that is the TNA Television Champion, the guy who calls himself "The Blueprint", Matt Morgan.

Heavy heat for Morgan.

Dinero - Pope feels the same way too... y'see, Matt Morgan, even though he is a seven-foot beast of a man without question, has been ducking Pope ever since he won that title at Victory Road.

More heat for Morgan.

Dinero - Two weeks ago, he issued an open challenge to anybody on the TNA roster who wanted a shot at his title, because don't forget, he is a fighting Champion, right?

A lot of the fans respond 'No!'

Dinero - Exactly. Anyway, as Pope was saying, he issued an open challenge for a shot at his title, but the moment Pope walks through that curtain, ready to take back what is his, the big bad wolf became a not-so innocent little pussy cat, extra emphasis on the pussy.

'Matt's a pussy!'

Dinero - He said "Pope, I'm not gonna face you because this open challenge is only for guys who can't whoop my ass", so with that said Pope will admit, he went a little overboard with the Steel Chair because it's pretty obvious that Pope does not fit into that category at all.

More cheers for Dinero, who walks up to the camera and removes his sunglasses.

D'Angelo Dinero: (Points finger at camera) But Matt Morgan... Pope wants you to know one thing. When there's no where for you to go... no open challenges... no running, no hiding and no excuses for you to fall back on, daddy... Pope's gonna come for you. Pope's gonna bring everything he has and, listen very carefully to this part... Pope will once again become... a Champion.

As soon as Dinero stops talking, "Dawgs" hits and the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Latin American Exchange walk out to cheers from the crowd. Hernandez and Homicide make their way down the ramp and enter the ring, Hernandez taking a microphone as the two of them stand opposite a confused Dinero.

Dinero - (Looking confused) ... can Pope help you?

Hernandez - I don't know, Pope. Y'see, me and Homicide were in the back and we were watching the show, nothing getting our attention... until you said something.

Dinero still looks perplexed.

Hernandez - You made your cute little comment about Morgan's open challenge, saying it was only for guys who couldn't beat him... well I answered that open challenge last week, and I would have beat him if he hadn't hit me with the title and caused a disqualification.

Dinero - Pope don't-

Hernandez - I don't care if it was some stupid joke, Pope, because the fact is you've pissed me off, and nothing's gonna change that right now.

Mixed reaction from the crowd.

D'Angelo Dinero: You serious, daddy? You wanna fight Pope 'cause of this?!

Hernandez - That's right. Me and you, we've never had problems. Hell, we've been allies in the past. I don't want the TNA Television Championship, I'm not getting in your way, me and Homicide have got a Tag Team Titles shot against The Motor City Machine Guns at Hard Justice... but if you wanna disrespect me, then do it right here, to my face.

Dinero - Y'know... Pope was gonna say that he was kiddin' around and Pope's sorry, but...

Dinero moves a step closer to Hernandez.

Dinero - ... Pope's not gonna do that. Looks like you wanna pick a fight, well pick a fight with Pope right here, right now!

The crowd cheer as Dinero and Hernandez prepare to fight, but Homicide steps between them, trying to restore peace between the two of them. Then, "White Train" hits and Eric Bischoff walks out with a microphone, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Bischoff - Whoa, whoa, whoa... I suggest both of you take a step back, because we're not gonna start this show with you two fighting.

The crowd boo.

Bischoff - If you wanna do it... then you can do it in a match, later on tonight.

Cheers from the crowd, as Dinero and Hernandez briefly look at each other.

Bischoff - So tonight, right here on iMPACT!, it's gonna be 'The Pope' D'Angelo Dinero... versus Hernandez!

More cheers after Bischoff's announcement.

Bischoff - But, but... I'm not satisfied with that. Y'see, I'm a guy that always like to think out of the box, spice things up, stir the pot if you will. So for that match, I'm gonna appoint a Special Guest Referee.

Murmurs amongst the crowd.

Bischoff - And that Special Guest Refere... well, you'll have to wait until the match to find out, won't you? And one more thing, Pope... you can consider this as your punishment for attacking Jesse Neal two weeks ago.

Bischoff smiles before leaving as his music plays, and in the ring Dinero and Hernandez have another staredown with Homicide standing in between them, until Dinero leaves the ring.

Tenay - What a way to kick off iMPACT!, Eric Bischoff announcing that later tonight it will be "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero versus one half of The Latin American Exchange, 'Super Mex' Hernandez with a mystery Special Guest Referee!

Foley - Like Eric Bischoff said himself, Professor, he sure loves to stir the pot and he's done it in a big way tonight!

We see a graphic previewing the main event.

Tenay - And we've got the main event too tonight! "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Desmond Wolfe, one-on-one on iMPACT!

Commercial Break

Back on iMPACT!, "All American Girl" hits and Taylor Wilde walks out to cheers from the crowd. Wilde waves to the fans on the stage before jogging down the ramp and sliding into the ring, walking into the corner. "Broken" blares out and Tara makes her way out, getting heat from the crowd. She walks down the ramp and steps into the ring, standing by the ropes and posing before standing in the corner opposite Wilde.

Tara vs. Taylor Wilde

Can't be bothered with this match, I'm getting rid of the Knockouts soon anyway. The match ends with Tara holding up Taylor Wilde in position for the Widow's Peak, but she lets go when she sees Angelina Love walk out onto the stage and down the ramp. With Tara's attention set on Love, Wilde rolls her up with a Schoolboy! One! Two! Three! Taylor Wilde has just pinned Tara!

Winner - Taylor Wilde at 4:13

An ecstatic Wilde quickly rolls out of the ring and the referee Jackson James follows her, raising Taylor's hand in the air to cheers from the crowd. She walks up the ramp as a shocked Tara gets up and sees Love standing outside the ring, with a smirk on her face. Angelina then slides into the ring, and floors Tara with a takedown!

Tenay - Tayor Wilde gets the victory over Tara thanks to Angelina Love, and now Love and Tara are brawling in the ring!

Love and Tara brawl around the ring on the mat until they both get back up and continue to fight, and then several security guards come out to the ring and separate them. The crowd boo, chanting "Let them fight!" as Angelina and Tara are both forced into opposite corners of the ring and then the TNA Knockouts Champion Daffney walks out with her title over her shoulder and a smirk on her face.

Tenay - What's the TNA Knockouts Champion Daffney doing out here?

Foley - She obviously likes the sight of Angelina Love and Tara fighting, Professor!

Love and Tara both see Daffney, who begins to laugh at the sight of them being held back by security, before we cut away.

Commercial Break

Back from the break, "Look Out, Look Out" plays and Team 3D make their way out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Brother Ray and Brother Devon both pose on the stage before making their way down the ramp and entering the ring. "Motorcity" blares out and the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns walk out, getting a big pop from the crowd. Both wearing leather jackets, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin make their way down the ramp with their titles around their waists, high-fiving some fans before sliding into the ring. Sabin and Shelley climb to the second rope in opposite corners of the ring and pose for the crowd before climbing back down and removing their jackets.

Team 3D vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

Alex Shelley and Brother Ray both climb out onto the ring apron in opposite corners, so Brother Devon and Chris Sabin can get the action underway in this tag team match. Devon and Sabin lock up, but moments later Devon pushes Sabin away. Chris looks at Devon and smirks, before running at him as they lock up again. Devon wrenches Sabin's arm around and he rolls across the mat, springing back up to his feet, twisting around and putting Devon in a headlock. Devon pushes him away into the corner and Sabin holds onto the ropes as Devon runs towards him. When he does, Chris handstands on the ropes and jumps backwards, landing on his feet behind Devon. Sabin grabs hold of Devon and pushes him forward into the corner, then trying to roll backwards still holding onto him but Devon holds onto the ropes.

Chris rolls backwards and when he gets up, Devon floors him with a Shoulder Block. He gets Sabin up and Irish whips him into the corner where his tag team partner Brother Ray is stood. Devon walks towards the corner and tags Ray into the match, grabbing hold of Sabin as Ray enters the ring. Devon holds Sabin in position as Ray hits him with a blow to the mid-section which causes him to sink to his knees. Devon climbs out onto the ring apron and Ray knocks Sabin over with a kick to the face, followed by a cover: One! Two! Sabin kicks out on two. Ray gets him up and lifts him up, planting him on the canvas with a Scoop Slam and following it up with an Elbow Drop to the sternum. Ray makes the cover again: One! Two! Sabin kicks out on two again. Ray looks at the referee and says "C'mon, do better!" before getting up again.

Ray gets Sabin up and sets him up in the corner of the ring, holding up his hand and going for an open-handed Chop but Chris moves out of the way. Ray turns around and is met by a forearm to the face, followed by a few more. Sabin then backs away into the middle of the ring and runs forward, hitting Ray with a Running Arched Big Boot to the face! Ray falls to the mat on his stomach and Sabin turns him over onto his back, making the cover: One! Two! Devon enters the ring and breaks it up. Devon retreats to the ring apron before Sabin can get him, so he gets up and gets Ray up. Sabin positions himself behind Ray and grabs him by the neck, hitting Ray with a Neckbreaker. Sabin covers again: One! Two! Ray kicks out. Sabin gets back to a vertical base and gets Ray up, taking him over to the corner where his partner Alex Shelley is stood. Sabin tags Shelley into the match for the first time and he enters the ring, both of them getting Ray in a front facelock and hitting him with a Double Suplex.

Sabin climbs out onto the ring apron and Shelley hits Ray with some stomps to the sternum and mid-section. Alex gets him up but Ray begins to fight back with blows to the mid-section. He Irish whips Shelley into the corner and runs towards him but Alex moves out of the way and then hits Ray with a Rope-Assisted Enzuigiri to the back of the head! A groggy Ray turns around and gets hit by a Kneeling Jawbreaker from Shelley. Alex runs off the ropes and goes for a running kick but Ray catches his leg and then takes him out with a Clothesline. Ray takes a few moments to regain his composure before walking over to the corner and tagging Brother Devon back into the match. Devon steps into the ring just as Shelley is getting up. Shelley runs at him but Devon scoops him up and plants Alex on the mat with a Sidewalk Slam! Devon hooks the legs and makes the cover: One! Two! Shelley kicks out!

Devon gets back up and gets Shelley to a vertical base, applying a Full Nelson hold. Devon lifts him into the air, looking to go for a Full Nelson Slam, but Shelley reverses it into a Wheelbarrow Bulldog! Alex gets back to his feet and approaches the corner of the ring, about to climb to the top rope. Shelley stops when Devon gets to his feet and runs towards him. Alex kicks Devon in the mid-section, and drives him face-first into the Middle Turnbuckle with a Reverse STO! Shelley then tags Chris Sabin back in and he enters the ring, getting Devon up and holding him by his neck. Brother Ray enters the ring to try to stop what is happening but Shelley knocks him down with a Superkick! He then quickly climbs to the top rope, and he and Sabin hit Devon with the Skull and Bones! Sabin makes the cover: One! Two! Three! The Motor City Machine Guns pick up the victory!

Winners - The Motor City Machine Guns (7:02)

Shelley gets up and has his hand raised by the referee Jamie Tucker to a big pop from the crowd. Sabin enters the ring and embraces with his tag team partner, before they are handed their titles which they hold in the air. They then leave the ring and make their way back to the locker room.

Tenay - They did it! The Motor City Machine Guns pick up the victory!

Foley - After seeing that, Mike, I think it's pretty obvious that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are ready for The Latin American Exchange at Hard Justice in Loveland!

Tenay - 'Machine Guns versus LAX, Hard Justice, first time ever, it's gonna be awesome!

*A video begins with a black screen, remaining like that for several moments with slow-paced music playing in the background. Then, the letters A, O and X appear before the video fades to black*

Commercial Break

Back on the show, "LethalX" hits and Jay Lethal walks out, getting cheers from the crowd. Lethal makes his way down the ramp, high-fiving some fans before rolling into the ring and walking into the corner. "Kaz" blares out and Kazarian makes his way out to a pop from the crowd, posing on the stage before walking down the ramp. He climbs onto the ring apron and then to the top rope to pose again, then jumping down to the mat.

Jay Lethal vs. Kazarian

The bell rings for the match to begin and Jay Lethal and Kazarian shake hands before engaging in a collar-to-elbow tie-up. Kazarian with a go-behind. Lethal tries to hit him with some back elbows but Kazarian ducks all of them. He lifts Lethal up off the mat and rotates him around, planting him on his stomach on the mat. Kazarian turns Jay over onto his back and tries to apply a headlock but before he can lock it in Lethal gets out of it. Both men get to their feet and Lethal wrenches Kazarian's arm around. Kazarian pulls him in and floors Jay with a leg sweep. Kazarian runs off the ropes and Lethal springs up to his feet, rolling forward out of the way of his opponent. Kazarian turns to face Lethal but gets hit by a right hand, followed by a few more. Jay runs off the ropes and Kazarian goes for a Hip Toss but Lethal flips over, lands on his feet, twists around and kicks him in the mid-section. Jay runs off the ropes and drives Kazarian face-first into the canvas with a Bulldog.

Lethal turns Kazarian over onto his back and makes the first cover attempt of the match: One! Kazarian swiftly gets the shoulder up. Jay gets back up, as does Kazarian, and Lethal goes for a kick but Kazarian catches his leg and floors him with a Dragon Screw. Jay rolls into the corner and gets back up, running at Kazarian but gets stopped in his tracks with a forearm. Kazarian runs off the ropes but Lethal bends down and lifts Kazarian into the air, hitting him with a Back Body Drop. Jay goes for another cover: One! Two! Kazarian kicks out on two. Lethal gets him back up and Irish whips him into the corner of the ring. Jay runs towards him but Kazarian boots him in the mid-section and climbs out onto the ring apron. Kazarian slingshots himself over the ropes and goes for a Slingshot DDT but Lethal catches him in mid-air and drives him into the turnbuckles in the corner! Jay takes a few steps backwards before running forward and hitting Kazarian with a Running High Knee.

Kazarian falls forward, but Lethal keeps him on his feet and kicks him in the gut, applying a front facelock. Jay lifts Kazarian into the air, keeping him upside down to let the blood rush to his head, before finally planting Kazarian on the canvas with a Vertical Suplex. Lethal hooks the legs and makes the cover: One! Two! Kazarian kicks out. Jay gets to his feet and sits Kazarian up, running off the ropes and hitting him with a Running Dropkick to the back. Lethal makes the cover again: One! Two! Kazarian kicks out again. Jay momentarily looks at the referee, wondering why he can't put Kazarian away, before getting to a vertical base. Lethal gets Kazarian to his feet and Irish whips him into the ropes, planting him with a Hip Toss followed by a cartwheel and a Dropkick to the face! Jay makes another cover: One! Two! Again, Kazarian kicks out. Lethal slams his fists against the canvas in frustration before getting to his feet and climbing out onto the ring apron.

Jay slams his feet against the apron, getting the Philadelphia fans clapping along, as he eagerly waits for Kazarian to get back up. When he does, Lethal jumps onto the ropes and springboards off them, going for a Leg Lariat, but Kazarian counters it into a Powerbomb! The cover is made: One! Two! No! Lethal kicks out! Several moments later, both men get back up and Jay hits Kazarian with some right hands before running forward and jumping onto the ropes. Lethal springboards backwards off them and goes for a Springboard Back Elbow but instead Kazarian catches Lethal and hits him with a Bridging German Suplex! One! Two! No! Lethal kicks out! Kazarian lets go of him and both competitors slowly get back to their feet, Kazarian getting Jay in position for the Wave Of The Future. However, Lethal fights out of it with some elbows to Kazarian before moving behind him, getting him in a Full Nelson and then hitting Kazarian with a Flipping Release Dragon Suplex! Jay then quickly makes the cover: One! Two! Three- No! Kazarian gets the shoulder up!

Lethal sits up and holds his head in his hands, knowing how close he just came to winning, before slowly getting up and approaching the corner. Jay climbs to the top rope and poses for the crowd, before going for a Diving Headbutt... but Kazarian rolls out of the way and Lethal goes crashing face-first into the canvas! Jay's risk equalled no reward and both competitors are now down. Kazarian is the first back up and he gets Lethal up, going behind him, hooking his leg and hitting him with a Bridging Leg Cradle Belly-To-Back Suplex! One! Two! No! Lethal kicks out! Moments later, Kazarian gets up again and climbs out onto the ring apron, waiting for Lethal to get up. When he does, Kazarian jumps onto the ropes and springboards off them, but Jay hits Kazarian with a Spinebuster in mid-air! Lethal hooks the legs: One! Two! Three- No! Kazarian kicks out just before the count of three!

About fifteen seconds later, Lethal gets back up and slowly walks towards the corner, climbing to the top rope. However, he takes too long and Kazarian gets up, also climbing to the top rope. They trade blows until Kazarian gains the upper hand in the exchange and gets him in position, hitting Lethal with the Flux Capacitor! Kazarian hooks the legs: One! Two! Three! Kazarian picks up the victory!

Winner - Kazarian (7:53)

Kazarian gets to his feet and has his hand raised by the referee Slick Johnson to cheers from the crowd. He then approaches the corner and climbs to the top rope, making a belt motion around his waist before climbing back down and extending his hand to Lethal as he helps him to his feet. The two of them shake hands and raise each other's hands in the air, before Kazarian leaves the ring.

Tenay - It could have gone either way, but in the end Kazarian defeats Jay Lethal in a tremendous X Division contest.

Foley - I couldn't have described it any better myself, Professor, Kazarian has picked up some valuable momentum with Hard Justice just ten days away but in Four-Way Matches, especially under elimination rules, you never know who's going to win.

Tenay - Kazarian is one of three competitors challenging "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels for the TNA X Division Championship on August 8 in Loveland, Christy Hemme is standing backstage with him right now, take it away Christy.

The camera cuts backstage where Christy Hemme is standing with the TNA X Division Champion "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.

Hemme - I'm standing with the TNA X Division Champion "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, who will defend his title on August 8 in Loveland, Colorado at Hard Justice against the two men we just saw in action, Jay Lethal and Kazarian, and also your opponent next week on iMPACT!, Chris, The Amazing Red. Do you have any words for Red?

Daniels - As a matter of fact, I do, Christy, but not just for Red. No, I have some words for this entire company. Ever since I became TNA X Division Champion last February, everybody has tried to take this title away from me, even Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. They put me in Gauntlet Matches, Ultimate X Matches, XScape Matches, hell, they even made Kazarian co-Champion with me and then vacated the title! But still... I have overcome those odds, whether these people like it or not, and I stand here today as the X Division Champion!

Heat from the crowd.

Daniels - Jay Lethal, Kazarian, go ahead and have great matches as much as you like, I don't care, because if either of you are trying to prove a point to everybody, then I'm telling you right now that you're both wasting your damn time. As for you, Amazing Red... (Laughs) Red, you don't even belong here. Nothing about you belongs in this company. You don't talk, all you can do is flip and don't get me started on how small you are. The fans might not care, they might think that it's OK to be small in the X Division, but I'm the one who calls the shots here, not anybody else, me, and I'm saying that you haven't got what it takes to survive here.

More heat for Daniels.

Daniels - Next week, Red, it's you and me right here on iMPACT! I beat you before at Against All Odds, and I'm gonna do it again. And then, August 8, Loveland, Colorado, Hard Justice... I'm not just gonna beat you, but I'm gonna beat Kazarian and Lethal too. And after that, "The Fallen Angel" will continue to be the greatest X Division Champion of all time... and-

Hemme - But what about Petey Williams?

Daniels - Petey Williams? Who cares about Petey Williams?! He pins one guy on his return to the company and now everybody thinks that he's a threat to me? Give me a break. Nobody is a threat to me, not Red, not Lethal, not Kazarian, and definitely not Petey Williams... and that's the gospel.

Daniels walks away, as we near a commercial break.

Tenay - Still to come tonight, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero faces Hernandez with a mystery Special Guest Referee and AJ Styles takes on Desmond Wolfe! But next, we hear from Robert Roode via satellite!

Commercial Break

Back on iMPACT!, the camera is at the announce table with Tenay and Foley.

Tenay - Welcome back to iMPACT! everyone, as we said before the break we would hear from Robert Roode via satellite and here he is right now.

Roode appears on the screen, getting a big pop from the crowd.

Tenay - Great to see you, Bobby, I hope you're well after what happened at Victory Road a few weeks ago. First question for you, what was going through your mind when you saw Chris Harris standing in the ring face-to-face with you before he smashed that beer bottle over your head?

Roode - Well, to be honest with you, Mike, I didn't have a lot of time to think about what I was seeing because as soon as I turned around, bam, Chris hit me and I immediately got knocked out. But, uh, since then I've been thinking about it a lot and I still find it hard to believe.

Foley - I don't blame you one bit, Bobby, especially considering the fact that a few years ago, Chris was in the exact same position that you are right now.

Roode - Exactly, that's what makes it so hard to believe for me. I mean, Chris was, or is, better friends with James than I ever was so to see him forget everything that happened between him and James in the past is very surprising. Right now, I can never see myself and James getting along again because all I'm thinking about is getting back and kicking AMW's asses.

Cheers from the crowd.

Tenay - Speaking of which, have the doctors given you a date to return to the ring?

Roode - No.

Well that was blunt.

Tenay - Well... have you spoke to the doctors?

Roode - Oh, yeah, I have. I spoke to them a few days after my match with James and they said I needed to rest for a long time if I wanted to step back in a ring, which of course, I do. Wrestling's everything to me, I've worked damn hard to get to where I am today and I sure as hell don't want my last memory of my career to be losing to my former best friend because of the guy who was in the same position as me a few years ago. And I spoke to them earlier this week to see if there had been any improvement, but they just flat out told me that I still needed to rest for a long time.

Mick Foley: So will we not see you for a while?

Roode - You're half right, Mick. You won't see me... but you only won't see me for ten more days.

Tenay - Ten days? Ha- Hard- Hard Justice is in ten days! You're not actually considering competing in ten days, are you?

Roode - Oh no, I won't be competing. If I step back into the ring in ten days, I'd be putting my career on the line and as much as I love competing, I'm not gonna take that risk. I know that people wanna see me face James Storm or Chris Harris pretty soon, but if I did on such short notice then, uh, yeah, my career would be in serious jeopardy.

Foley - So what will you be doing there?

Roode - I don't know yet for sure, Mick, but I do know one thing, and that's the fact that on August 8, America's Most Wanted will be seeing Robert Roode.

Big pop from the crowd.

Tenay - Alright, Bobby, thanks for your time.

Roode - No problem, guys.

*Roode then disappears from the screen and we cut backstage to Fortune's locker room where it is just America's Most Wanted in there. Chris Harris and James Storm are watching the show on a TV screen and they laugh*

Storm - Oh, thank God lil' Bobby's OK! I was really worried about him, y'know!

Harris - You and I both, James, I'm so relieved. I hope Bobby knows that me hitting him with that beer bottle was an accident, 'cause it really was!

Both continue to laugh.

Storm - I know, Chris, I know, it's alright. Hey, how about-

Storm stops when Eric Bischoff walks in, getting a mixed reaction.

Bischoff - James... Chris.

Storm - Howdy, Eric. What you want?

Bischoff - I just came in to tell you, James, that you've got a match on August 8 at Hard Justice.

Storm - A match? Against who?

Bischoff - It's against AJ Styles.

Big pop from the crowd.

Bischoff - AJ wasn't too happy about what went down between you and Robert Roode at Victory Road, so he came and asked me for a match against you.

Harris - What about me?

Bischoff - You? Oh... you've got AJ in a match next week.

Harris and Storm both smile.

Storm - Sounds good to us, Easy E!

Bischoff - Well, that's great. After all... it's the least you deserve, right?

Bischoff winks at AMW, before walking out.

Tenay - Big news revealed by Eric Bischoff! Next week on iMPACT!, it will be 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles versus "Wildcat" Chris Harris and then on August 8 at Hard Justice, Styles will face Harris' ally, "The Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm!

Foley - And we heard from Robert Roode that he will be at Hard Justice to confront America's Most Wanted, and now that Storm is in a match with AJ Styles at the pay per view, how is Roode going to accomplish what he said he would do, Professor?

Tenay - Coming up next on iMPACT!, it's "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero taking on one half of The Latin American Exchange, "Super Mex" Hernandez with a mystery Special Guest Referee! Who could it be? Find out when we return!

Commercial Break

*Back on iMPACT!, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Anderson is stood backstage ready to talk*

Anderson - Let me tell you all something... I'm afraid.

Anderson then begins to laugh.

Anderson - I'm afraid... of what I'm gonna do to Jeff Hardy at Hard Justice! Jeff... just because you beat AJ Styles and Samoa Joe when Joe wasn't even there for some reason...

Ken curiously looks around, before continuing.

Anderson - ... it doesn't mean that you deserve a shot at this! (Points to TNA World Heavyweight Championship over shoulder) If you wanna prove to these people, and to me, that you deserve a shot at this title, then beat somebody who's at least near my level! The only guys that are on my level are my boys in Fortune, Wolfe, Storm and Morgan. This is our company now, Jeffrey, I've got the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and I ain't losin' it!

The Champ pauses for a few seconds.

Anderson - Jeff... this is the wrong time to be the hero. You're not gonna get anywhere. Let me repeat what I said; this... is our company now. I'm not gonna end this with my lil' microphone, I'm not gonna say my name... I'm just gonna remind you. This... is our company.

Anderson smirks at the camera, before walking away as we cut back to The Arena.

"To Live And Die In LAX" hits and Hernandez walks through the curtain with Homicide, getting cheers from the crowd. Both wearing LAX shirts, Hernandez walks down the ramp with Homicide in tow and "Super Mex" enters the ring with his partner standing on the outside. Hernandez climbs to the second rope in the corner and pounds his fist against the LAX logo on his shirt before climbing down. "Catholifunk" blares out and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero walks out, to a big pop from the Philadelphia crowd. Wearing a black bandana, sunglasses, facemask and jacket and a gold chain around his neck, Dinero saunters down the ramp and stops on the ramp, posing as dollar notes fall from the ceiling, before entering the ring. Dinero removes his entrance attire and stands in the corner opposite Hernandez. Both men wait for the mystery Special Guest Referee to arrive and moments later, "Sleeping Giant" plays and the TNA Television Champion "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan walks out in a suit (not exactly conventional referee's gear) holding his title over his shoulder. With a big grin on his face, Morgan walks down the ramp and gives his title to SoCal Val, telling her to keep it safe before entering the ring and standing in between Dinero and Hernandez, smiling at both of them.

D'Angelo Dinero vs. Hernandez (Matt Morgan is Special Guest Referee)

Before the bell is rung, Matt Morgan goes up to both D'Angelo Dinero and Hernandez, checking them to make sure they aren't carrying any foreign objects. Dinero and Hernandez both disapprove of the measures that Morgan takes, but afterwards the bell rings and the two competitors lock up. Hernandez forces Dinero backwards into the corner but Morgan intervenes, breaking the two up much to the dismay of Hernandez. Matt shouts at Hernandez, saying "Rope break! Get off him, you idiot!" but meanwhile Dinero comes out of the corner and hits Hernandez with a blow to the back. Dinero hits him with some right hands before running off the ropes and charging towards him, but Hernandez lifts Dinero into the air and unceremoniously drops him down to the canvas on his stomach! Hernandez turns Dinero over onto his stomach and makes the cover, but Morgan doesn't count... because he is stood in the corner looking at his watch.

Hernandez gets up and confronts Morgan, shouting "Make the damn cover!", Matt holding his hands up in innocence and apologizing. Hernandez shakes his head before getting Dinero to his feet. He Irish whips him into the ropes and ducks down for a Back Body Drop but Dinero instead plants Hernandez on the mat with a DDT! Dinero turns Hernandez over and covers: One! ... ... Hernandez kicks out. The crowd boo, as Morgan blatantly made a slow count and Dinero gets up, shoving Morgan and berating him but meanwhile Hernandez gets up and lifts Dinero up, planting him with a Belly-to-Back Suplex. Hernandez gets back up and hits Dinero with some stomps, before getting him up. He grabs Dinero by the throat with both hands and throws him into the corner of the ring. Hernandez says to Morgan "Watch this" before running at Dinero but Dinero hits him with a boot to the face.

"The Pope" then runs forward and floors Hernandez with an STO, followed by a cover: One!... ... Hernandez gets the shoulder up. A frustrated Dinero looks at Morgan, who is holding his arm. Dinero asks why he didn't make the cover and Morgan says his arm is hurting, apologizing. Dinero shakes his head in disgust before getting to his feet and getting Hernandez up. He hits Hernandez with a few elbows to the head before performing some theatrics and hitting him with another. Hernandez manages to stay on his feet but looks groggy, and Dinero runs off the ropes, but as he comes back Hernandez grabs him and throws him across the ring with a thunderous Belly-to-Belly Suplex! "Super Mex" gets back up and pounds his fist against his chest, getting fired up, before backing into the corner and waiting for Dinero to get back up.

When Dinero gets back to a vertical base, Hernandez runs across the ring but out of no where Dinero hits him with the Dinero Declaration! After that, both competitors lie side-by-side on the mat, until Dinero manages to cover Hernandez: One!... ... Two... Hernandez gets the shoulder up. Another slow count from Morgan and Dinero is furious. He gets to his feet and is about to hit Morgan with a right hand but "The Blueprint" grabs his fist, saying he'll disqualify him. Dinero says he doesn't care, but then he has a change of heart and says he'll finish it right now. Dinero gets Hernandez up and Irish whips him forward into the corner of the ring. He hits him with some blows to the back to soften him up a bit before backing away into the opposite corner and rolling down his kneepads. However, as soon as he does, Morgan calls for the bell, ending this in a disqualification for some reason!

Hernandez def. D'Angelo Dinero via DQ at 6:39

The crowd boo as Dinero looks at Morgan in confusion and Hernandez slowly comes out of the corner. Morgan looks at both men as Homicide enters the ring and stands with Hernandez, before leaving the ring and taking a microphone as well as his TNA Television Championship belt.

Morgan - Whoa, whoa, whoa! Before any of you guys do anything, I just wanna explain why I ended the match so hear me out, OK?

Heat from the crowd, as Dinero, Hernandez and Homicide look on in disapproval.

Morgan - Pope... I saw you roll down those kneepads. You can't do that, Pope! Me and Hernandez don't get along, it's no secret, but come on, I would never try to purposely inflict damage on somebody like that!

More heat for Morgan.

Morgan - So Hernandez, congratulations, you-

Morgan stops when he sees Dinero, Hernandez and Homicide all leave the ring and he quickly drops his microphone, running up the ramp with his title and disappearing behind the curtain. Dinero, Hernandez and Homicide remain outside the ring and "The Pope" looks at the two members of LAX, before simply walking away as LAX's music hits.

Tenay - A great match ruined by the TNA Television Champion "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan, just because he wants to screw over his rival, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero!

Foley - Come on now, Mike, Matt Morgan gave reasoning for disqualifying Dinero and quite honestly, I don't have a problem with it now. Dinero intentionally rolled his kneepads down and he could have caused Hernandez serious injury to his back. And with LAX facing The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA World Tag Team Championships on August 8 at Hard Justice, that can't be happening.

Tenay - Come on, Mick, do you honestly think Matt had, of all people, Hernandez's best interests in mind? He hates the guy! Bottom line, he didn't want Dinero to win, and Dinero's his main concern right now, not Hernandez. From Morgan's perspective, Hernandez is the lesser of the two evils.

Foley - Say what you want, Professor, but well done Matt Morgan.

A graphic previewing the main event appears.

Tenay - Well coming up next on iMPACT!, it's "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles one-on-one with Desmond Wolfe!

Commercial Break

Back on iMPACT!, "Menacing" plays as the stage becomes filled with smoke and Desmond Wolfe emerges from it, accompanied by "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair as the crowd begin to boo. Wearing sunglasses and a black jacket, a smirking Wolfe saunters down the ramp and enters the ring as Flair stands on the outside with a grin on his face. Desmond holds up the Fortune handsign for the crowd with one hand and his two-fingered gesture with the other, before removing his jacket and walking into the corner. "Get Ready To Fly" blares out and the crowd cheer and the camera cuts to the stage, where AJ Styles is standing with his back turned and the logo on the back of his turquoise jacket visible. Moments later, Styles turns around and flicks back his hood, throwing his arms out before walking down the ramp, high-fiving some fans on his way to the ring. AJ runs off the ropes and poses for the crowd again, before walking into the corner opposite Wolfe and removing his jacket.

AJ Styles vs. Desmond Wolfe

The bell rings for the main event to get underway and AJ Styles and Desmond Wolfe approach the middle of the ring. Wolfe pompously extends his hand to Styles, then looking around the crowd as if to say 'Yeah, I went there'... but AJ slaps his hand away! The smug look on Desmond's look disappears, and he and Styles rigorously enter the collar-to-elbow tie-up. Wolfe forces AJ backwards into the corner of the ring, but the referee gets in between them and Desmond is forced to back away. Styles shoves the ref aside and shouts at Wolfe 'Bring it on!' and he does, running at AJ as they begin to exchange right hands. Styles gains the upper hand and backs into the ropes behind him, then running forward but Desmond knocks him down with a vicious European Uppercut. Wolfe bombards AJ with a few stomps before getting him to his feet, placing him in the corner... and slapping him across the face! Styles slowly rubs his cheek, before running at Wolfe and taking him down with a Lou Thesz Press, followed with some mounted punches to the face until he is held back by the referee.

Wolfe gets to his feet and AJ runs at him but Desmond takes him down to the mat with a Headlock Takedown. Wolfe keeps Styles down on the floor for several moments, looking like he's enjoying it as he laughs at AJ's expense. However, eventually 'The Phenomenal One' makes it to a vertical base and he pushes Wolfe forward into the corner. Styles runs towards him but Wolfe dodges him by handstanding on the top rope, and then knocking AJ down with a Mule Kick to the face! Wolfe makes the first cover attempt of the match: One! Two! Styles kicks out on two. Wolfe sits AJ up and runs off the ropes behind him, charging forward and driving his knee into the back of Styles' neck! Desmond stays on his feet and then runs off the opposite ropes, hitting AJ with a Dropkick to the face! Wolfe makes another cover: One! Two! Styles kicks out. Desmond looks at the referee and shouts at him 'Do your f**king job!' before getting up and getting AJ to a vertical base.

Wolfe Irish whips Styles into the corner of the ring and casually walks towards him, obviously not in a hurry and thinking he has this one in the bag already. Desmond strikes AJ with a chop to the chest, the crowd responding with loud 'Wooooo's from the Philadelphia crowd. Wolfe holds his arm up, ready to go for another chop, but when he does Styles escapes from the corner, ducking under Wolfe. When the Englishman turns around, AJ kicks him in the mid-section, applies a front facelock and hits Wolfe with a Snap Suplex. Styles gets back up and grabs Desmond by his legs, but Wolfe slips out of his grasps and rolls under the ropes out of the ring. The crowd boo Wolfe who takes a breather outside the ring, but he makes a fatal mistake when he turns his back because in the ring, Styles runs off the ropes behind and charges across the ring, going over the ropes and taking out Wolfe with the Fosbury Flop! The crowd go nuts and chant TNA repeatedly as AJ and Desmond lie side-by-side on the floor outside the ring.

The referee begins the count, but on six both men get back in the ring. Styles and Wolfe get to their feet and Desmond goes for a kick to the mid-section but AJ catches his leg, and takes Wolfe down with a Dragon Screw. Styles takes a quick breather before getting up and running off the ropes, jumping into the air and going for a Knee Drop, but Desmond moves out of the way. AJ lands on both knees on the mat and Wolfe gets back up, running off the ropes behind his opponent and hitting Styles with a ferocious running boot to the back of the head! Wolfe takes a moment to stand over AJ and give the fans his two-fingered gesture with both hands, getting a lot of heat from the crowd. Desmond simply laughs at the response before getting Styles up and applying a Cravat. Wolfe walks around the ring keeping the hold applied, hitting AJ with knees to the face multiple times, before hitting him with a Snapmare. Desmond gets down on one knee next to AJ who is in a seated position and places AJ's arm over his shoulder, before hitting Styles with a flurry of Bryan Danielson-esque elbows!

Wolfe hits about a dozen of them before letting AJ fall back to the mat. Desmond hooks the legs and makes the cover, looking assured that he's got the match won here: One! Two! Three- No! Styles gets the shoulder up on two and a half! Desmond looks down at AJ with a scowl and shakes his head before getting to his feet and viciously hitting Styles with repeated stomps to the sternum and mid-section. When he is satisfied, Wolfe makes another cover: One! Two! No! Styles kicks out! An angry Desmond gets up and shouts at the referee 'Is there anything you can bloody do?!' before turning his attention back to AJ as he gets him up to a vertical base. Wolfe holds him up and says to him 'I'm gonna break your f**king jaw!' before backing into the ropes, tilting in between them and running forward, looking to go for the Jawbreaker Lariat, but Styles hits him with a Dropkick! Both competitors lie on the mat as the crowd cheer, everyone chanting 'Let's go, AJ!'

Styles is the first one up to his feet, followed by Wolfe moments later. AJ hits Desmond with a chop to the chest, Wolfe giving him one back, and for the next twenty seconds the two competitors continue to trade chops until both of their chests are bright red. Desmond looks to surprise AJ, going for a right hand but Styles ducks under it, goes behind Wolfe, lifts him up and plants him on the mat with a Bridging Belly-to-Back Suplex! One! Two! No! Wolfe gets the shoulder up on two and a half! Styles slowly gets back up after that near fall and makes his way towards the ropes, climbing out onto the ring apron. AJ waits for Wolfe to get back to his feet and when he does, he jumps onto the ropes but Desmond races forward and presses his weight down on the ropes, causing Styles to lose his balance! AJ lands with the ropes in between his legs and a relieved Wolfe then climbs to the second rope in the corner, jumping off and knocking Styles off the ropes and down to the mat with a Top Rope Lariat! Moments later, Wolfe makes the cover, could this be it? One! Two! Three-No! AJ kicks out just before three!

Wolfe is stunned as Styles kicks out, thinking that he surely had the match won there. Wolfe sits there with his head in his hands for a while before slowly getting up and eagerly waiting for AJ to get back up. Styles begins to get back to his feet, but...

*Rob Van Dam's music plays, getting a huge pop from the crowd! Wolfe's eyes suddenly light up and he turns around to the entranceway looking on in disbelief, but AJ then turns him around, kicks him in the gut, puts his head in between his legs, lifts him up and nails Wolfe with the Styles Clash*

AJ turns Desmond over and makes the cover: One! Two! Three!

AJ Styles def. Desmond Wolfe

RVD's music stops and Styles' hits, as AJ gets to his feet and has his hand raised by the referee to a big pop from the crowd. "The Phenomenal One" climbs to the top rope and poses for the crowd before leaving the ring, high-fiving some fans on his way to the back.

Tenay - Is- is Rob Van Dam here?! Could it be?! Is RVD here in Philadelphia?!

Foley - I don't know, Mike, we just heard his music which distracted Desmond Wolfe and allowed AJ Styles to pick up the victory, but is the man himself here? Perhaps we'll find out now!

Several moments later, Wolfe slowly gets to his feet as Flair enters the ring to check on him, and Desmond calls for a microphone, receiving one from SoCal Val as he remains on his knees.

Wolfe - What... what the- what the hell is going on here?!

The crowd laugh at Wolfe, who doesn't appreciate it.

Wolfe - Everybody shut up! This isn't funny! RVD...

Big pop when Van Dam is mentioned.

Wolfe - ... I know that wasn't you who played that music. I got rid of you, you don't have a job here and you don't have the nuts to stand up to me!

Flair laughs as Wolfe remains serious.

Wolfe - So whoever it was... I don't care if I've just had a match, I want you to come out here right now!

Desmond drops his microphone and gets to his feet, waiting for the culprit to reveal themselves. Moments later, "Crush U Up" hits and the fans in The Arena go absolutely nuts, as Samoa Joe walks out! Wolfe's eyes light up and he looks at Flair in anxiousness as Joe, wearing a TNA T-shirt and denim jeans with his trademark white towel over his shoulders, stands on the stage for a few seconds before running down the ramp and into the ring! Wolfe quickly rolls out of the ring but before Flair can as well, Joe grabs him by his shirt and pulls him into the middle of the ring! Ric shouts to Desmond "Go! Go!", but then Joe gets him in position, and nails Flair with a Dragon Suplex! The crowd explodes with cheers and Joe immediately gets Ric to his feet, Irish whipping "The Nature Boy" into the corner and hitting him with a Running Forearm Smash followed by a CCS Enzuigiri! Before Flair can fall to the mat, Joe lifts him to the top rope, gets him in position, takes him into the middle of the ring and nails Flair with the Muscle Buster!

Tenay - MUSCLE BUSTER! MUSCLE BUSTER TO RIC FLAIR!

With the fans going crazy, Joe picks up his white towel and puts it back over his shoulders, then raising his hand in the air as the camera cuts to Wolfe on the stage who looks on in horror. "The Samoan Submission Machine" climbs to the second rope and points to Desmond, saying "You and me, Wolfe, August 8, Hard Justice! You ready?!" as the show goes off the air.

BRITISH INVASION VS. GENERATION ME, KNOCKOUTS TITLE MATCH AT HARD JUSTICE

TNAwrestling.com has learned that this Sunday at Hard Justice, two of the best tag teams in TNA will collide as The British Invasion and Generation Me square off. That's not all, because with TNA's new Knockouts-exclusive webshow premiering next Sunday night, Daffney will defend the TNA Knockouts Championship against Angelina Love and Tara at the pay per view!

Hard Justice looks to be one hell of a show, so order it now before it's too late!
OK, so last show before Hard Justice, which I have only written one match for so far, so by my estimations that PPV will probably take a while to complete. I've done all of the promos/backstage segments and the opening match for this Impact, so the rest of the matches are very brief recaps because quite frankly I couldn't be bothered to write the rest of them in full.

TNA IMPACT - August 5 - Manhattan, NY

- After the opening video and a shot of the packed-out Hammerstein Ballroom with the crowd chanting "TNA!", we are greeted by the voice of "The Professor" Mike Tenay. He and "The Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley hype up tonight's main event with D'Angelo Dinero and Jeff Hardy facing the TNA World Television Champion "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan and the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Anderson, as well as the meeting between AJ Styles and Chris Harris and also the TNA X Division Champion "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and The Amazing Red.

- "Menacing" plays, and Desmond Wolfe walks out. Wearing a suit and sunglasses, Wolfe gives the fans his two-fingered gesture before sauntering down the aisle to the ring and taking a microphone.

Wolfe - With this being a former home of Extreme Championship Wrestling... I feel that it's necessary that I introduce myself, because obviously none of you people know anything about real professional wrestling.

Heavy heat for Wolfe.

Wolfe - My name is Wolfe... Desmond Wolfe. And to make sure that you all remember me, I'm going to reiterate that I'm the reason none of you ungrateful tossers are ever gonna see Rob Van Dam in a proper wrestling ring again!

More heat for Desmond, who removes his sunglasses.

Wolfe - Ever since I beat Rob and chucked him out of this company last month at Victory Road, people have been hoping and praying that he'll make a triumphant return. Just four days after, he showed up and tried to attack myself and Ric Flair.

The crowd cheer, as an RVD chant begins.

Wolfe - Shut your bloody mouths!

The boos return for Wolfe.

Wolfe - The only man that has the right to mention RVD's name in this building is me, do you understand that?!

The RVD chant starts again, and Desmond decides to ignore it.

Wolfe - I see what you're doing. You're trying to make me angry. Well it ain't gonna work! I'm just gonna ignore all of you and continue. As I was saying, four days later he showed up again and then last week, his music played and it cost me my match against AJ Styles.

Cheers again.

Wolfe - But, but... don't get your hopes up because of that. Y'see, it wasn't Rob Van Dam who was responsible for that... it was Samoa Joe.

Huge pop when Samoa Joe is mentioned, and a Joe chant starts.

Wolfe - Yeah, Samoa Joe! You all know him, of course, he doesn't know a damn thing about wrestling! You wanna play mindgames with me, sunshine? You wanna try and throw me off my game? Well it ain't gonna work! I'm not gonna lower myself to your level, Joe, I'm not gonna stoop that low. I don't need mind games, because there's nothing that you or anybody else can do to stop what's gonna happen this Sunday at Hard Justice. This Sunday, Joe, I'm gonna pummel you, I'm gonna annihilate you, and I'm gonna do it in front of all of your loyal fans.

Wolfe laughs to himself, before continuing.

Wolfe - You think you're the big bad wolf around here, well I've got news for ya', there's only room for one big bad wolf in this company and that's me, Desmond Wolfe!

- After he says that, "Crush U Up" hits to a big pop from the crowd and Samoa Joe walks out! Wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, Joe walks from the entranceway to the ring and takes a microphone, coming face-to-face with Wolfe.

Joe - First thing's first, Desmond... I had nothing to do with what happened during your match with AJ last week.

Wolfe looks at Joe in confusion.

Joe - I didn't come out last week to own up to anything... I came out last week to beat you down.

Cheers from the crowd.

Joe - And I may not have done that, but I did the second best thing and that was take out your 'leader' Ric Flair.

More cheers.

Joe - But y'see, you're not my main concern right now. Neither is Ric Flair. It's Mr. Anderson that I want, but I wanna go through everybody else in Fortune first. And unfortunately for you... you're first up.

Joe smirks at Wolfe, who tries to stay relaxed.

Joe - Desmond, you might think you escaped last week, but believe me when I say you haven't escaped at all. This Sunday at Hard Justice, you won't be able to escape, because you'll be stood in the ring looking at a guy who's gonna whoop your ass. That's unless... you don't have the balls to even show up on Sunday.

Desmond frantically shakes his head, before replying.

Wolfe - Me? Scared of you? Give me a bloody break! I'm not scared of you! Rest assured, I'm gonna be there this Sunday and I'm gonna make you eat your words. And looking at you right now, Joe... I think you'll enjoy that.

Wolfe laughs, but Joe doesn't look impressed.

Joe - Oh, I see now. You wanna make jokes. Well that's fine, Desmond, make all the jokes you want. But the fact is, it's because you're scared. You're afraid. When I look at your eyes... I see fear.

Wolfe - Stop flattering yourself.

Joe - All I'm doing is telling the truth. And besides... you're the one that's gonna be flattened on Sunday... by me. And after it's all said and done, after you're taken down along with Morgan and Storm... Anderson's gonna be next.

- "Crush U Up" hits and Joe drops the microphone, stepping out of the ring and walking up the ramp. Wolfe watches him leave and Joe lets him know that he's saving the best for Sunday before walking behind the curtain.

*Commercial Break*

- Back on IMPACT, The Amazing Red and the TNA X Division Champion "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels respectively make their entrances for their match.

Christopher Daniels vs. The Amazing Red
The bell rings and Amazing Red and Christopher Daniels approach the middle of the ring. A confident Daniels points to Red and tells him that he is nothing compared to him, but Red responds with a right hand! Daniels staggers backwards into the ropes but Red doesn't stop there, hitting him with more blows before going for an Irish whip. Daniels counters it into an Irish whip of his own and Red goes across the ring into the ropes. He comes back and slides through Daniels' legs, then getting back up. Daniels turns around and Red hits him with a kneeling jawbreaker, before running off the ropes and taking Daniels down with a Clothesline. Red runs off the ropes again and Christopher rolls over onto his stomach, as Red jumps over him and runs off the ropes again. Daniels gets back up and Red comes towards him, Daniels going for a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker but Red counters it into a spectacular Tilt-a-Whirl Arm Drag which sends Daniels through the ropes and out of the ring!

Daniels goes crashing down to the concrete floor and the crowd applaud, chanting 'Let's go, Red!' The high-flying Red looks around the Hammerstein Ballroom before running off the ropes behind him, charging across the ring and looking to go for a high-risk maneuver to the outside of the ring. However, Red stops himself when Daniels frantically crawls out of harm's way, the disappointed crowd booing. 'The Fallen Angel' gets back up and angrily tells the fans to shut up, which only gets more heat, before climbing onto the ring apron and cautiously stepping back into the ring. Daniels and Red prepare to lock up, but he catches Red off guard with a kick to the mid-section before applying a standing headlock. Daniels keeps Red in the headlock for about a dozen seconds until Red pushes him forward into the corner. Daniels looks to immediately regain control, running towards Red but Red jumps up and hits Daniels with a Frankensteiner, holding onto his legs as the cover is made! One! Two! Daniels kicks out.

Red gets back up, followed moments later by Daniels and Red hits him with some right hands before running off the ropes, but when he comes back the X Division Champion lifts Red up and drives him face-first into the canvas with a Flapjack! Daniels quickly turns Red over onto his back and makes the cover: One! Two! Red kicks out. Christopher wastes no time, getting back to a vertical base and hitting Red with a few stomps before getting him up. Daniels hits Red with some knife-edge chops to the chest before running off the ropes but Red takes him down with an Arm Drag. Daniels gets back up and this time Red executes a Dropkick, which floors 'The Fallen Angel' once again. Daniels takes a little longer to get up this time but when he does, Red runs towards him but gets taken down with a Drop Toe Hold. Daniels gets back up and jumps onto the ropes, hitting an Arabian Press onto the back of Red. Daniels then turns Red over onto his back and hooks his legs, making the cover: One! Two! Red gets the shoulder up, much to the chagrin of Daniels.

Daniels gets up and gets Red to his feet as well, Irish whipping him into the corner of the ring. 'The Fallen Angel' runs across the ring and hits Red with a running high knee to the face, before taking a few steps back, running forward and hitting another running high knee to the face. Daniels backs right into the opposite corner before running forward and hitting Red with a third and final running high knee to the face! Daniels then brings Red into the middle of the ring, lifts him onto the back of his shoulders, and nails him with a Death Valley Driver! The X Division Champion then makes the cover: One! Two! No! Red gets the shoulder up on two and a half! Daniels looks at the referee in shock, thinking that he had the match won there, before slowly getting back to his feet. Daniels turns to the crowd and says he's gonna finish Red off right now, before getting him to his feet. He Irish whips Red into the ropes, but when Red comes back he puts himself in the Wheelbarrow position and then goes up into the air, twisting around and hitting Daniels with a Wheelbarrow Arm Drag!

Red slowly gets back up and runs off the ropes, hitting Daniels with a Standing Shooting Star Press! Red crawls across the mat towards the corner of the ring and gets up, climbing to the top rope. Red makes his signature hand-gesture for the crowd before going for the Infrared from the top rope... but Daniels rolls out of the way! Red goes crashing into the canvas, and a few moments later when Daniels gets back to his feet he gets Red up, gets him in a Dragon Sleeper position, and then nails Red with the Last Rites! Seconds later, Daniels slowly turns Red over onto his back and hooks his legs, making the cover: One! Two! Three- No! Red gets the shoulder up a split-second before the count of three! The crowd cheer, but Daniels does not feel the same, sitting on the floor with his head in his hands. 'The Fallen Angel' slowly gets back to his feet and looks down at Red whilst shaking his head, before getting him up. Daniels places Red's head in between his legs and hooks his arms.

Daniels lifts Red up to go for the Angel's Wings, but Red reverses it into a Hurricanrana and holds onto Daniels' legs as the cover is made! One! Two! Three! The Amazing Red has just pinned the X Division Champion!

- The camera cuts to the backstage area where Jeremy Borash is stood with D'Angelo Dinero, ready to begin an interview.

Borash - I'm here with 'The Pope' D'Angelo Dinero, who later tonight will be teaming with 'The Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy to face the TNA Television Champion, 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan, and the TNA World Champion, Mr. Anderson, in our main event. How are you feeling going into this match?

Dinero - You're absolutely right, Jerry, tonight in New York City it's Pope and Jeff Hardy, teaming for the first time ever! And it's against the TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson and the TNA Television Champion Matt Morgan. Pope's not worrying about Anderson, Jeff can take care of that business tonight, because all that Pope's thinking about right now is Morgan, daddy. Pope doesn't care whatever that title is called right now, because Pope just got confirmation from Eric Bischoff that he's got a rematch with you this Sunday at Hard Justice.

Dinero removes his sunglasses and grins, before continuing.

Dinero - Don't worry, daddy, it ain't for the title 'cause that title can only be defended here on iMPACT!. But after Pope cuts you down on Sunday and beats you, boy, you ain't gonna have no choice but to give Pope what he deserves, and that's a title shot. And when Pope gets his shot... he's gonna take it. Pope has spoken.

D'Angelo puts his sunglasses back on and walks away.

Back on IMPACT, Doug Williams and Max Buck are both in the ring.

Doug Williams vs. Max Buck
Doug Williams and Max Buck will be on opposite sides again this Sunday at Hard Justice when The British Invasion face Generation Me, but tonight on IMPACT they're facing off in one-on-one competition with their tag team partners not present at ringside. In a solid seven-minute match, Max narrowly loses to Williams after submitting to a Guillotine Choke.
Doug Williams def. Max Buck

- The camera cuts backstage where Chris Harris and James Storm are standing around, ready to talk.

Storm - AJ Styles! This Sunday, it's me and you, boy! You wanna back up Bobby Roode, you wanna cover for him? Well you're making a big mistake! Lemme' ask you a question. Did you see what happened to Bobby at Victory Road? Huh? Well if ya' didn't, then after Sunday you will, 'cause the same is gonna happen to you!

Harris - But hey, AJ. If you wanna drop out of the match against James, then do it. Hell, you can drop out of the match against me tonight if you want. Don't worry if you wanna do that, AJ, nobody will think any less of you! I mean, look at us. We're America's Most Wanted! We are without a doubt the greatest tag team of all time! We're the guys that put asses in seats, drew money for this company, and we're the reason that TNA is still alive today! But if you do face me tonight, AJ, and if you do face James on Sunday... well...

Storm - Sorry about your damn luck.

*Commercial Break*

- Back on the show, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels is sat in his locker room with his X Division Championship over his shoulder.

Daniels - I requested this time because I want to make one thing clear to everyone. What happened earlier was a fluke! The Amazing Red is not in my league! I said it last week, and I'm saying it again right now! Red rolled me up, he cheated, tonight doesn't prove anything.

Daniels holds up his title.

Daniels - I wanna remind all of you again that I am the X Division Champion. I am the reason this title exists. I have single-handedly made this title worth something, not Red, not Jay Lethal, not Kazarian, not Petey Williams, not Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, not even AJ Styles or Samoa Joe, me! I don't care how good everybody else is at wrestling, I don't care how popular they are with the fans, because the fact remains that the best they can do is second best to 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels... and that's the gospel.

- With Kazuchika Okada and Kiyoshi already in the ring, The Latin American Exchange make their way out for their match getting a big pop from the crowd!

Kazuchika Okada & Kiyoshi vs. The Latin American Exchange
With a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships in store for The Latin American Exchange this Sunday at Hard Justice, Hernandez and Homicide dominate their opponents Kazuchika Okada and Kiyoshi who barely get any offense in. LAX win after Homicide pins Okada following the Gringo Killa.
The Latin American Exchange def. Kazuchika Okada & Kiyoshi

- Camera cuts backstage where the TNA Television Champion “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and the TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson are ready to talk.

Morgan - Can you believe it, Ken? We're here, in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York!

Anderson - Yeah, I believe it. I mean, ya' can't mistake this place for anywhere else when you look at the crap all around ya'. And the most crap isn't even in the crowd, no, it's the guys that we're facing tonight.

Morgan - D'Angelo Dinero and Jeff Hardy.

Both men laugh to themselves.

Morgan - D'Angelo, Pope, whatever you wanna call yourself, doesn't matter, I don't care... if you like the sound of stepping into the ring with me on Sunday then that's great, good for you. But I want you to cherish every single moment that you have until that bell rings at Hard Justice and me and you square off again, because I'll be the first to admit it, I underestimated you last month at Victory Road. Did I dominate you in our last match? Yeah. But, not as much as I would have liked to. Y'see, Pope, I'm a perfectionist. Everything I do, I like to do it better than anybody else, which is why this Sunday, I'm gonna tear you apart, limb by limb, better than that anybody ever has inside a wrestling ring!

Anderson - As for you, Jeffrey, all of your hard work, if that's what ya' wanna call it anyway, all of the needless effort you've put in to get these people to accept you, it's all gonna go up in smoke at Hard Justice! Get it, smoke?

Matt grins and pats Anderson on the back.

Anderson - I know, I'm so funny it hurts sometimes, but as I was saying, Jeff, after Sunday you're gonna realize that none of it was worth it because face the facts, no matter how many fans you have, no matter how many posters of you there are on the walls of teenage girls, it will not win you this TNA World Championship!

Anderson points to his title over his shoulder.

Anderson - So far, few have tried... well, just AJ Styles to be precise, but mark my words, Jeff, just like AJ did, you will fail this Sunday, just like ya' always have! And at the other end of the mountain, at the top of the mountain, the man that will be standing there as the TNA World Champion will be MIIIISSTTEERRRR ANNDDEERRRSSOONNN... ANNDDEERRRSSOONNN!

*Commercial Break*

Back on IMPACT, AJ Styles and Chris Harris, who is with James Storm, both make their way to the ring for their match.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Harris
Before the match begins, the referee decides to eject James Storm from the ringside area, much to the delight of the crowd but Storm's chagrin. With Storm out of the picture, overall this is a fair and evenly-matched contest and when Styles lands on his feet after Harris attempts the Catatonic, AJ pins Harris with a Small Package for the victory!
AJ Styles def. Chris Harris

- Styles gets up and has his hand raised, but immediately after that Storm runs the ring and knocks AJ down with a blow to the back! An irate Storm unloads on Styles with stomps, followed by some punches to the face and continuing to do so until Harris is back up. He joins in on the attack with his partner Storm and they get AJ up, Harris lifting him up, swinging him around and nailing Styles with the Catatonic! "Wildcat" talks some trash to AJ before Storm raises his hand in the air, getting a lot of heat from the New York crowd. AMW then leave the ring and exit, ignoring the plethora of abuse they get from the fans.

- A vignette begins with a black screen, remaining like that for several moments with slow-paced music playing in the background. Then, the letters A, O and X appear along with the word 'Sunday' before the video fades to black.

*Commercial Break*

After a Hard Justice commercial, the TNA World Television Champion "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan andthe TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Anderson make their way out, followed by "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy.

D'Angelo Dinero & Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Morgan & Mr. Anderson
This main event tag team match gets a good amount of time, roughly eleven minutes to be precise, with a fair few tags in and out between both duos. We only really get glimpses of Anderson and Hardy in the ring together, but that changes when Dinero runs off the ropes and Morgan, who is stood outside the ring as opposed to the ring apron, grabs Dinero by the foot and pulls him down. In the process, Dinero seemingly injures his ankle and is taken to the back by medical personnel shortly after, leaving Hardy to face Anderson and Morgan on his own. Jeff fights valiantly against the Fortune duo, but in the end Anderson pins his opponent this Sunday at Hard Justice following the Mic Drop.
Matt Morgan & Mr. Anderson def. D'Angelo Dinero & Jeff Hardy

A little thank you for the thread name change

619s Feedback For Shocks Thursday Night iMPACT!

This opening promo seemed a tad unsetting for me. Just a hair. I like that Wolfe is still kicking ass and taking names, and now he’s set to meet with the only guy who can kick his ass and take his name, but it was a tad off. With that said, I still can’t judge character too much, although Joe’s awful pun may have had something to do with the off-ness. Either way, it gets a main focus of the show across. Also, I’m not sure if Joe meant to say “you’ll be stood in the ring”. I think that was meant to be ‘standing’.

I find myself becoming suckers to good cruiserweight action. This was a pretty sweet match, I’m guessing this would’ve gone on for a good ten minutes before the finish. A great win for Red here, perhaps signifying a push, although a hurricanrana pin out of the blue would be a stretch, but Red had a great showing as it was, so it didn’t have a deus ex machina feel to it. Solid job.

Dinero promo’s got me thinkin’ he’ll get the winnin’ fall. I just used like four apostrophes in a row, dude. On with the show…

Williams/Buck seemed exactly like what it was and that’s filler/PPV plugging. Not much to say about that, and the subsequent promo did pretty much the same thing. At least now I know AMW plan on completely dominating Styles and his partner come Sunday.

Intense promo here by Daniels. It wasn’t that long, it I could feel the frustration and pent up fury by the Angel here. I’m kind of hoping that he’ll lose the title come Sunday and go completely bloodthirsty to regain it. Or I just have a hard-on for psycho champs/contenders. Moving on to the following squash match, again, not much to say, but LAX has a tag finisher, no? I thought maybe it’d make sense to let them finish it with that to establish a little more team connection, but what happened here isn’t complaint worthy either.

I enjoyed the Anderson/Morgan promo here. They reminded me of a Vegeta/Nappa connection from Dragon Ball Z (if you have any clue what that is ). Not surprised to see them on the same page, seeing as how it only makes sense. Actually kinda curious to see this tandem continue, actually.

I’m not too high on Harris, so Styles rolling him up for the win isn’t so bad, but I’m slightly offed by Styles just getting pounded with no help from whoever he’ll be tagging with come Sunday. Still, the point was for the AMW to put their money where their mouths are and they did just that.

American Oriental Exchange? Avenged Octo-Fold? Anti-oxidants? This intrigues me.

Main event put me in question. Is Dinero really injured? Or will that just be something Morgan will play with…? The gang-up on Hardy was almost expected at that point, but frankly, I’m scared that Hardy hasn’t looked strong in this feud at all. Or maybe I skipped a show? Either way, what I have seen is Hardy not looking so hot other than actually winning the contnendership.

FINAL THOUGHTS: SOLID, BUT NO “UMPH” IN THIS TAKE-HOME SHOW
. The show did it’s obvious job of setting the final things in place for Hard Justice, but there was just no “umph’, y’knowwhattimean? Just not a whole lot to get me excited for the PPV outside of the cruiserweight program, really. I felt as if the show were drained, but that may be perhaps because the writer was drained…? My apologies if I got the wrong signals, but I’m getting the feelings that maybe you’re a tad burnt out…? Or at least on the path to getting that way. Judging from this show and the last, I get that feeling anyway. I hope you don’t burn yourself out, but hope all is well on the PPV. Again, apologies if I got the wrong signals there, just checking on me section Mods (wait, isn’t it the other way around…?)
OVERALL: 7/10

Thanks for the review, 619. Just to let you know, it's not a tag team match with AMW vs. Styles and a partner at the PPV, it's just Storm vs. Styles.

And yes, it's fair to say that I am quite burnt out, seeing as I've been going basically nonstop (no pun intended) for a while now. It's very likely that I'll be taking a break soon that I think I need. Don't know how long for ... but yeah.

TNA Newswire

The last edition of IMPACT got a 1.3 rating.

The TNA Knockouts Championship match is no longer being advertised to take place this Sunday at Hard Justice. Instead, Petey Williams will be in action against an unknown opponent according to the TNA website. In addition, Matt Morgan is slated to face an unknown opponent as well. It's likely that Morgan's opponent will be from the current roster merely be used to put Morgan over, whereas that will most likely not be the case with whoever Williams' opponent is in terms of putting him over. Petey's opponent could well be someone not on the current roster.

The culprit, or culprits, behind the 'AOX' videos is set to be revealed at Hard Justice, judging by the vignette that aired this past Thursday on IMPACT.

OK, no 'preview videos' for Hard Justice. One, only one or two matches are worthy of such a video and two, I've almost finished the PPV and I don't want it to be lying around for too long. So with that said, here's the preview template.

On the note of burning out, please take a break if need be. I'm sorry to hear that it's befalling you. There's no point in pressing on if you're not on your game. Hell, there isn't a whole lot of point in posing the PPV if you're off game, either. But I guess jut do what you need to, Shock man.

But should you post, here's some predics...

Hard Justice Predictions

(8)TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Mr. Anderson © vs Jeff Hardy

As I noted before, I haven't seen Hardy have a single shining moment in this feud to even give the me slightest clue that he'll take the strap. A transitional defense, here, if I can invent a term.

(6)Desmond Wolfe vs Samoa Joe

I can see this one going either way. If Joe wins, I guess it would exact the revenge of Wolfe sending RVD packing, but at the same time, I could see Wolfe winning and forcing Joe to put his career on the line next, in which case, Joe would probably win that. That or I'm clearly not in the same booking mind as you. Either way its a tough call, but regardless, the feud isn't ending here.

(4)AJ Styles vs James Storm

Could easily see Styles getting his ass handed to him here, which may cause him to seek a tag team partner on down the road.

(1)TNA World Tag Team Championships
Motor City Machine Guns © vs Latin American Exchange

Love both teams, but I don't think those titles are going anywhere.

(3)Four-Way Elimination Match for the TNA X Division Championship
Christopher Daniels © vs Amazing Red vs. Jay Lethal vs. Kazarian

It would be a disapponitment to me for anyone else to walk out champion after that showcase on the take-home show. Maybe this frees up Daniels for a Styles/Daniels tag reunion...?

(5)Matt Morgan vs ???

...does it really matter who he's facing?

(2)Petey Williams vs. ???

Again going off the reports from this, but I'm guessing our mystery challenger will take the win here.

(7)The British Invasion vs. Generation Me

Was kinda added out of the blue, but I like the Bucks here.

Bonus Questions:

Predict the match order
It has been done, master.

Who will Matt Morgan's opponent be?
Some X-Division jobber.

Who will Petey Williams' opponent be?
Some future X-Division jobber. Or Shelton Benjamin. Poking in the dark here.

What will be the shortest match?
Bucks/Invasion

What will be the longest match?
Wolfe/Joe. It'll be better than the main event too.

Predict the order of eliminations in the X Division Championship match
Lethal
Kaz
Daniels

Who will take the fall in the British Invasion/Generation Me match?
Not familiar too much with the Invasion, but...the fatter one.

Who will take the fall in the MCMG/LAX match?
Homicide, if they're retaining.
