Hey sorry I’m late with the review but here it is. And I can’t wait for the Armageddon Preview.

ECW Review

Opening Promo – Dreamer & Ryder
-Great opening promo here. This is a good feud. Dreamer is trying to defend the old ECW and Ryder wants to end Dreamer’s career so he can brag more. Perfect. And the match is made for Saturday Night’s Main Event. This should be good.

Match 1 – Goldust vs. Big Daddy V
-Simple squash match, which was good and just what Big Daddy V needed to establish himself as a dominant star on ECW. Washington trying to be the ECW General Manager is building up to be a great storyline. Beating up Mathews was good just for the fact that it was unexpected and it shows that no one is safe with Big Daddy V and Washington around.

Promo – Regal, Kozlov, & Jackson
-Pretty good short promo. This builds the feud more with them which is good.

Match 2 – Yoshi vs. Manu
-Good match. I didn’t have a preference since I’m not a big fan of either man but I guess Yoshi winning was good. Judging by how Rhino reacted, these two could split soon.

Promo – Burchill
-Very interesting. First off a good promo by Burchill, basically showing how cocky and confident he is. Then the whole thing with Katie Lea and her acting a bit off. She’s definitely sneaking around with someone that Burchill wouldn’t approve of.

Match 3 – Jackson vs. Kozlov
-Good match and Jackson getting the win was definitely the right decision. Judging by the way Kozlov blew Regal off, I could see this being the end of their alliance. But for now we have Regal verses Jackson official at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Promo – Christian, Burchill, & Shelton
-What a match made. That should be great and builds more to the Royal Rumble. I wonder who their partners will be since it’s anyone at all? Katie Lea’s mind is elsewhere again. I want to know what’s up with her. Christian standing tall was good. Judging by the stare down, could something be going on with Christian & Katie Lea? Maybe I’m digging too much into this but it’s still possible.

*Notes: Nice show. You progressed your feuds nicely and setup some great matches for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

I read through the Smackdown…I guess a recap or brief overview of the show. The matches seemed solid. The NYC Brawl should be cool, especially since it’s a fatal four way. I’m looking forward to that. I’m just curious, why don’t you do a full show for Smackdown? I get that doing three shows is a lot of work but I feel like Smackdown in full could be really good.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW PRESENTS: ARMAGEDDON!!!

***

WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Jack Swagger

The first Raw after Survivor Series, the All-American American Jack Swagger lay claim to the title of No. 1 Contender, defeating the Legend Killer, Randy Orton. Swagger claims that tonight is the moment of truth – he will finally claim the top prize in the business, and show the world that he is the future of the WWE. Swagger’s taunted WWE Champion John Cena for weeks, saying that he is the best of the best, not the Champ, and that at Armageddon, it is he who holds the cards.

But what about Cena himself? The Champ humiliated the All-American American on Raw a couple of weeks back in a 10-on-1 Handicap Match, and last Monday, hit an Attitude Adjustment with Swagger watching in fear. Cena has said that he’ll turn Swagger from a boy to a man in front of the world, when it matters most, in the big leagues, where they play for keeps. Can John Cena prove that Jack Swagger really is more talk than action? Or will the two-time All-American American shock the world, and live up to his moniker as the ultimate in talent and skill by becoming WWE Champion?

-

Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton
Steel Cage Match

This rivalry is red-hot, and fuelled by gasoline. These two have been at each others’ throats for months now, and it all comes to a head, tonight at Armageddon. Randy Orton, the Legend Killer, is out to leave Kofi Kingston broken and beaten on the floor, and teach him, and the world, a lesson – that the Viper is merciless, and those who get on the wrong side of him will pay a heavy price. Not only that, but Orton is out to prove to his Legacy comrades that they owe respect, as they set out to claim said respect from him. Tensions have been running high between Orton and his young associates, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes, and if Orton lost, he would lose serious face as he fights to turn his protégés into dangerous ring warriors.

And then there’s Kofi Kingston, who has promised he’ll prove to everyone that he can hold a candle to the best that Monday Night Raw has to offer. The Ghanaian is determined, and claims that when that Steel Cage comes down, a side of him that no-one has ever seen will be unleashed, and he will take Randy Orton to the limit inside the steel structure. He says he’s ready to make the big step to the big time, and that even the Legend Killer himself won’t break him. Will Kofi make it to the big time with a huge win against the future Hall of Famer, or will Randy Orton finally beat away the pest that’s been bothering him for weeks?

-

United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs Carlito

Since his return to WWE programming five weeks ago, Carlito has been nothing but a thorn in the Miz’s side – first costing him his match with Evan Bourne, and then hitting him with the Backstabber when he was the special guest on Carlito’s Cabana. The United States Champion sat backstage as Carlito won the chance to fight him tonight, but finally got one back on the Caribbean superstar after his win against Chavo Guerrero, clocking him with the United States Title belt. The Miz has claimed for weeks that no matter who his opponent, he will be walking out still Champion. Can he live up to his word against one of the most athletic superstars on Raw, or will Carlito’s mind games in recent weeks be the difference, giving Carlito his first taste of singles gold in three long years?

-

WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and the Big Show (c) vs Mark Henry and MVP vs D-Generation X vs Legacy

Chris Jericho and the Big Show firmly broke up as a team at Survivor Series, when Big Show knocked Jericho’s lights out to become World Heavyweight Champion. Ever since, the Unified Tag Team Champions have been fighting week after week, and as such, three different teams have lined up to attempt to take their titles from them. First is Legacy – Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase have been fighting recently to get the respect of their mentor, Randy Orton, and told by the Viper that he will only respect them as the future of the business, and as his protégés, if they win the titles tonight.

Then there’s the World’s Strongest Tag Team – the team of Mark Henry and Montel Vontavious Porter, who have both been pinned by other members of this match in recent weeks. Still, there’s no doubting their determination, and the pairing will definitely be the dark horses in this one.

Finally, there’s no counting out D-Generation X – neither Triple H or Shawn Michaels could win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series, but their ring skill is well documented, and the determination of the fan favourites is second to none. The Game and the Heartbreak Kid have their eyes firmly set on their first ever tag team gold, and they’ll want to avenge that loss at Survivor Series by picking up gold tonight.

Whose night will it be? Will Chris Jericho retain the titles, even without the support of the World’s Largest Athlete, or will the numbers game catch up with him? Will Legacy regain the gold they’ve held before, and gain the respect they deserve from Randy Orton, or will they fall short and fail their mentor? Can Mark Henry and MVP prove that they are big players in the tag team division with a huge win tonight, or will they fail to capture the gold they so desire? And will D-Generation X do what they’ve been waiting to do for years, or will their wait for the treasured titles go on?

-

Sheamus vs Jamie Noble
No Holds Barred Match

Five weeks ago, Jamie Noble gave one of the most emotional promos in WWE history, saying he was tired of being tread on, and tired of being ‘lion food’ to bigger and better superstars. The Pit Bull declared it was time for a new Jamie Noble to rise from the ashes, and began a massive journey to take back his career, challenging the man who nearly ended his career, Sheamus, to a match. The Celtic Warrior went into his match with the Pit Bull looking for an easy win, but he had a difficult time, and eventually, Noble stole a win with a Roll Up - from stunned, Sheamus became enraged, and had both men booked into a No Holds Barred match for tonight, at Armageddon. Tonight, Sheamus plans to end Jamie Noble’s career in one of the most brutal match types available in the WWE – no count-outs, no disqualifications, and No Holds Barred.

Can the Celtic Warrior do what he’s highly tipped to do, and end the career of Jamie Noble before it can kick-start again? Or will the Pit Bull pull off what would be one of the biggest upsets of this decade as it closes out, by beating Sheamus in an environment where the regulations clearly favour the Irishman? There’s one thing that’s guaranteed, and that’s that we’re going to see a spectacle – Jamie Noble said if his career was going to end in this match, he would leave everything he had in the ring, for the fans.

-

Divas Championship
Melina (c) vs Maryse

The Sultry Diva became No. 1 Contender to the Divas Title on the first episode of Raw after Survivor Series, and ever since, she’s been on her high horse, practically assuring herself, and everyone, that she’ll be winning the Divas Championship tonight for the second time. Maryse has beaten both Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim in recent weeks, proving she’s more than capable of taking down some of the best on Raw – now, there’s only one obstacle left, that being the Champion herself, Melina, who won’t be giving her title up easily. After weeks of staredowns and trash talk (albeit some of it hard to understand due to a certain French accent), it comes down to this. One match, with the title on the line, to decide who will walk out of Armageddon as the Divas Champion. Can Melina extend her reign as Divas Champion, and maintain her status as the top Diva on Raw? Or will Maryse finally recapture the title she first won on SmackDown, one year and one day ago?

-

Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Masters vs Evan Bourne vs Paul London vs Primo Colon vs Santino Marella
United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal

All six men in this Battle Royal have had come within a distance of the spot Carlito is in tonight – some more than others. For instance, Chavo Guerrero took the fall in the No. 1 Contender Triple Threat a couple of weeks back, but he’s out to prove he’s worthy of the United States Championship. If he wants to get back on the road towards that title, he has the same task as everyone else here – he just has to outlast five other title wannabes in this Over-the-Top-Rope Battle Royal. Last man standing in the ring is the No. 1 Contender to the United States Championship, and will face either The Miz or Carlito for the title in the weeks leading up to the Royal Rumble.

Chris Masters has been humbled by Evan Bourne in recent weeks – he’s been pinned on three separate occasions by the high-flyer on Raw, but tonight, he’ll hope to make sure his short-term rival doesn’t win the right to fight for the title in a few weeks’ time. That could be a difficult task, however, as Bourne has been on a roll, showcasing a stunning Roundhouse Kick which is capable of knocking somebody out cold if it connects correctly, another dangerous move in Bourne’s leg-based striking arsenal. Bourne could be a major force in this Battle Royal, not to mention a favourite with the fans to win it tonight.

Since his return to the WWE, Paul London has showed the world he still has the athleticism which brought him success a few years ago – could he win this Battle Royal, and book himself a title match in the future? Or what about Primo Colon? A win for the Puerto Rican tonight could set up a possible clash with his brother Carlito for the title in the near future, which would be a match to see, for sure. The final participant in this Battle Royal is Santino Marella. Could the ‘Italian Stallion’ stun the Pepsi Center by pulling out a big win over five other men tonight? We’ll find out, later tonight.

7. WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Jack Swagger

I know you to be a huge Swagger mark however Cena comes out on top of this one. I really don't think Swagger is ready for the title. With that said Cena pulls this one out after a great match.

6.Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
Steel Cage Match

Kingston's push ends here I think as Orton takes down Kingston. I can be wrong thinking you have big plans for Kingston heading into the RTW but if Cena retains only right we see Orton v. Cena I guess plus I'm a bigger fan of Orton.

5. United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs Carlito

This was a tough one but Miz gets the nod because he has alot of the momentum heading in since his attack on Carlito this past Monday on Raw.

2.WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and the Big Show (c) vs Legacy vs Mark Henry and MVP vs D-Generation X

DX will pick up the win bc Jeri-show has no chance whats so ever in my opinion, and I really can't see heels taking the the title off of another heel in this situation. With DX being the only legit tag besides Legacy I feel they get the win.

3.Jamie Noble vs Sheamus
No Holds Barred Match

Tougest choice but I pick Noble because he has so much riding on this match-up. I wouldn't be surprised if Sheamus does win, but I would love to see Noble pull this one out.

4.Divas Championship
Melina (c) vs Maryse

Taking a random guess really. Not much to back it up

1.Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Masters vs Evan Bourne vs Paul London vs Primo Colon vs Santino Marella
United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal

Evan Bourne gets the nod just for the fact that he deserves in IRL and I feel your trying to give people what they deserve IRL. So Bourne seems to be the most legit in this situation but I wouldn't be surprised if London or Chavo pulls the victory out.
---

1) Which match will open the show? Battle Royal

2) Predict the full match order. See above....

3) How many championships will change hands? Two

4) Who will take the fall/submit in the Tag Team Titles match? Jeri-Show aka Jericho

5) Who will be the last man eliminated in the Battle Royal? Chavo

6) How will the Steel Cage match end, by pinfall, submission or escaping the cage? Pinfall

7) Will there be any surprise appearances? If so, who? I can't really think of anyone so no.

8) Finally, what will be the longest match? Originally wanted to say the WWE Title, but I'm going out on a limb and saying Steel Cage.

Sidenotes: Can't wait for the show man. Like always I'm going to review. BTW I thought this would of been a good time for people to vote on your Royal Posters.... just sayin

7. WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Jack Swagger

-You built Swagger up nicely, but I just don’t see him taking the title from Cena, especially when the Road To WrestleMania is just around the corner. I wouldn’t be surprised if Swagger won though.

6. Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
Steel Cage Match

-The Kofi push is going to continue and I think this is the end of the feud, leaving Kofi looking strong.

4. United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs Carlito

-I just have a feeling Miz will win and plus I picked a face to win the Battle Royal so it works out.

5. WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and the Big Show (c) vs Legacy vs Mark Henry and MVP vs D-Generation X

-I guess this has to be DX. JeriShow is basically broken up, Henry & MVP I feel aren’t credible enough, and Legacy is having their troubles with Orton so losing will add more fuel to the fire.

2. Jamie Noble vs Sheamus
No Holds Barred Match

-Ok I know you built Noble up, but I feel it would be a huge upset if Sheamus lost. Although I’m not counting out Noble, I just think Sheamus should get this win.

3. Divas Championship
Melina (c) vs Maryse

-I’m not sure about this. I just picked Maryse because I feel like you could do more with her as champion.

1. Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Masters vs Evan Bourne vs Paul London vs Primo Colon vs Santino Marella
United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal

-Bourne seems to have a lot of momentum lately. I feel like it’s his time to win and face Miz for the U.S. Title.

Only read at least two full shows in this BTB so far although by the looks of things, it seems to be going pretty good. I should be reviewing more often like I used to rather than being quite lazy . Anyways man, here are my predictions.

WWE Championship - 7
John Cena (c) vs Jack Swagger

Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
Steel Cage Match - 6

United States Championship - 3

The Miz (c) vs Carlito

WWE Unified Tag Team Championships - 5
Chris Jericho and the Big Show (c) vs Legacy vs Mark Henry and MVP vs D-Generation X

Jamie Noble
vs Sheamus - 4
No Holds Barred Match

Divas Championship - 2

Melina (c) vs Maryse

Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Masters vs Evan Bourne vs Paul London vs Primo Colon vs Santino Marella
United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal - 1

---

1) Which match will open the show?
US Battle Royal.

2) Predict the full match order.
See above.

3) How many championships will change hands?
Two.

4) Who will take the fall/submit in the Tag Team Titles match?
Chris Jericho.

5) Who will be the last man eliminated in the Battle Royal?
Chavo Guerrero.

6) How will the Steel Cage match end, by pinfall, submission or escaping the cage?
Escaping the cage.

7) Will there be any surprise appearances? If so, who?
No.

8) Finally, what will be the longest match?
Orton/Kofi.

Good luck with this by the way, I'm hoping that you can live up to expectations and I'm quite positive that you will. May review as well.

WWE Armageddon
Location: Pepsi Center, Denver, Colorado
Date: 27th December 2009
Tagline: It’s The End Of The World...
Event Theme Song: Tell No One by Fixer

7. WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Jack Swagger
Swagger has been built up pretty good, but Cena will get the win.

5. Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
Steel Cage Match
Orton needs the win here.

1. United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs Carlito
Carlito isn't established enough yet to win. And The Miz, of course, is awesome.

4. WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and the Big Show (c) vs Legacy vs Mark Henry and MVP vs D-Generation X
DX just seems to be built up the biggest here.

2. Jamie Noble vs Sheamus
No Holds Barred Match
I see a bloody Noble pulling out a win here.

6.Divas Championship
Melina (c) vs Maryse
Toss up.

3. Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Masters vs Evan Bourne vs Paul London vs Primo Colon vs Santino Marella
United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal
You seem to be a big Bourne fan.

7.) WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Jack Swagger

Cena will win the Road to Mania is coming and at this point putting Swagger over going into the Rumble will be good enough.

6.) Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
Steel Cage Match

I think Orton will win via heel tatics, I could see Kofi escaping the cage then Orton low blowing him or something. Tough one to pick, but I guess Orton will kind of cheet to win.

4.) United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs Carlito

Please don't put the belt on Carlito

5.) WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Chris Jericho and the Big Show (c) vs Legacy vs Mark Henry and MVP vs D-Generation X

I geuss DX will win, Legacy is on the verge of breaking and Henry and MVP should be singles guys. Jericho and Show will break up building towards the Rumble.

3.) Jamie Noble vs Sheamus
No Holds Barred Match

Noble winning = fail

2.) Divas Championship
Melina (c) vs Maryse

Just because

1.) Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Masters vs Evan Bourne vs Paul London vs Primo Colon vs Santino Marella
United States Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal

Only one creditable enough to win, I also see him winning the title from Miz, the way you're building him.
