Default World Wrestling Entertainment: Untouchable

Sunday, October 4th, 2009 was the night of WWE’s newest PPV event, Hell In A Cell. It featured three hell in a cell matches, it featured brutality and chaos but the biggest “holy shit” moment came when Vince McMahon stepped into the middle of the ring after the final match of the night and announced that he had just purchased Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Vince said for the fans that aren’t familiar with TNA or its roster, they would get to see what TNA is all about in just a few weeks. Vince says effective after Sunday, October 18th, 2009, which was the night of TNA’s biggest PPV event of the year, TNA’s roster would be merged with WWE’s three brands. No one knew quite why Dixie would sell TNA to WWE but rumours started to surface that TNA wasn’t as financially stable as people had thought and they had been building debt for years with many large signings that didn’t bring in large money. Dixie’s father finally saw that TNA wasn’t going to make a profit and he pulled out of the company before he lost any more money. Dixie simply had no choice but to sell the company and the man that wanted it the most was Vince McMahon.

Come Sunday, October 18th, as soon as Bound For Glory, which had Sting and AJ Styles saying an emotional goodbye to TNA Wrestling went off the air, it was announced on both TNAwrestling.com and WWE.com what the new brands for WWE would look like, with many superstars from Raw, Smackdown, ECW and TNA all being released and the cream of the crop being placed on one of the three brands. Surprisingly, it was also announced that Mick Foley would be taking over as the permanent General Manager of Monday Night Raw. It was also announced on WWE.com and TNAwrestling.com that TNA’s title’s would all become defunct. This BTB obviously starts the Monday after Bound For Glory which leaves only a week until Bragging Rights so rather then having a week of build for an entire card, I’ve decided to dump the Bragging Rights PPV and push the Survivor Series PPV forward a week. Anyways below, are the new rosters of World Wrestling Entertainments three brands and the list of released wrestlers. For the first little while, I’m just going to stick with recapped shows since I tend to quit because I want to be further ahead then I really am and then I get bored and with me writing four shows by myself, I think it would be best. I might end up doing full shows eventually but for now, it will be recapped weekly shows and full PPVs.

BTW: I didn’t steal this idea from A-Dust

Monday Night Raw Preview

World’s Collide
Tonight is the night, the night that WWE and TNA wrestling become one. The rosters have been set and Monday Night’s have gained some huge names in Kurt Angle, Booker T, AJ Styles and more. But what will happen when these TNA wrestlers enter the WWE ring? It has already been stated by many TNA superstars in interviews after the announcement of the purchase that they were not happy with being a part of WWE. There are new faces, old faces and one certain thing, Monday Night’s will never be the same.

Age Of Orton Begins Again
At Hell In A Cell a few weeks ago, Randy Orton regained the WWE Championship in a brutal Hell In A Cell match against his greatest rival, John Cena. Per the stipulation of the match, John Cena will not be receiving another shot at the title which leaves the question, who’s next? To find out who’s next in line for a WWE Title shot, you’ll have to tune in to Monday Night Raw and see who steps up to the plate.

Hardcore GM
Over the last few months, there have been many celebrity guest hosts for Raw but with the acquisition of TNA and the chaos of assigning people to new brands, releasing names and giving everyone a chance to shone, it was decided that a burden such as that couldn’t be placed on the shoulders of a guest host and that’s where the Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley comes in. Foley who is no stranger to being in power was named the new permanent general manager of Monday Night Raw just last night at TNA’s final show, Bound For Glory. This wacky, insane and creative mind will no doubt shake up Raw but to find out just how much he’ll shake it up, you’ll have to tune into Raw and see.

Confirmed Matches
Non-title match: Mickie James versus Jillian Hall
Kofi Kingston versus Christopher Daniels

Writer’s Note: Well I’m done Raw, actually, I’m done Raw, ECW and Superstars. As I stated in the opening post, I’ll be doing recaps for awhile and doing these recaps has definitely made writing four shows easier. Sorry for the lack of confirmed matches but everything else is made during the course of the show and there is some big matches. Also, sorry the preview is a little short but they'll get longer as I get further into the BTB. Anyways, I’ll probably post Raw in a few days, I don’t want to rush things.

While the introduction of the TNA roster on all three brands looks good on paper, it causes all sorts of problems, namely that your rosters are far to big, no young talent will have a chance to break out and great superstars will be underutilized. But it's early days, so maybe you will find a way to make this all work. If anything at least this merger freshens up and drastically changes the current product.

Before I post the first show I have a question for a few people. It seems that three people think my thread is "bad" since it has been given three 2 star ratings. I'd like to ask these people to send me a PM or even answer in here and tell me why exactly my thread is "bad." What's bad about it? I haven’t even posted a show yet? I'm all for improving and constructive criticism but just rating a thread "bad" doesn’t help me at all. So please, tell me what's bad about it and I'll try to fix it. Of course, I don’t know what your answer could be since I haven’t even done anything in it yet.

Anyways, here is the first show of the thread and if you think it's bad now, fine, but don’t label it as bad when I haven’t even done anything. Anyways, I'd like to apologise about the way I'm doing my shows but as I've said twice already, its easier on me, it helps me get my ideas out before I get bored and it wont be so much for the reader to read (If anyone reads it ).

Monday Night Raw
October 19th, 2009 | Jacksonville, Florida

Making an Impact

After the opening credits and such, the announcers begin talking about WWE’s acquisition of TNA wrestling. It isn’t long before the owner of WWE and now TNA, Vince McMahon comes to the ring. Vince is smiling ear to ear and walking even more powerfully then usual.

Once Vince gets settled into the ring, he begins talking about buying TNA. He says that tonight is the night, the night that TNA and WWE become one. Vince says that several weeks ago at Hell In A Cell, it was announced that WWE had purchased TNA and tonight is the night that TNA’s roster merges with WWE’s three brands. Vince continues to say that surprisingly, a lot of people have been asking him just why he bought TNA. He says that they weren’t competition, he didn’t need to buy them but he says that he did it because simply put, he could. Vince says that he saw an opportunity and he swept it up. Vince says that he likes to be in power and there is no power greater then being the undisputed king of the sports entertainment world.

Someone had heard enough of Vince’s gloating and that man, or men, was Kurt Angle and the Main Event Mafia. Kurt and his group of elite superstars made their way to the ring, looking extremely annoyed with being a part of WWE, something that TNA had been against since it’s beginning. Angle was the one to do the talking for the Mafia and he told Vince that he’s going to need a needle to deflate Vince’s ego. Angle continued to say that he and the Main Event Mafia don’t like being here, they don’t like it one bit. Angle decided it would be a good idea to fill in the crowd on just who the Main Event Mafia is. He told the crowd that they are a group consisting of some of the biggest superstars in professional wrestling history, all of them former world champions, all of them exceptional athletes. Angle continued to state that the Main Event Mafia is about four things, money, power, respect and gold. Kurt said that in TNA, he and the Main Event Mafia ran the show and it’s only a matter of time before they are running Monday night’s too.

Vince had heard enough and butted in, saying that Kurt might have “Run the show” down in TNA, but things are a little different here. Vince says that Kurt was a big fish in a little pond, nothing less, nothing more. Vince continues to say that this is where the big dogs play though and Kurt should know that by now. Kurt seemed to take offence to Vince saying he was a big fish in a little pond. Kurt says that Vince will learn soon enough that that isn’t the case and that when he says that Main Event Mafia will run the show, they will run the show. Vince, seemingly getting tired of this little game, asks Kurt just why he is out there. Kurt says that he is out there because he isn’t the only one that isn’t happy with being a part of WWE, he says that he isn’t happy, The Main Event Mafia isn’t happy and every single man and women that Vince brought in from TNA isn’t happy. Next, Kurt drops a bombshell on Vince, saying that is why, on behalf of the TNA Superstars, he is declaring war on WWE.

Kurt, with lightening fast reflexes shoots Vince to the ground and snaps in the Ankle Lock. Kurt grapevines around Vince’s right leg right away and roars with fury as he twists and torques Vince’s angle. Vince cries out in pain but there is nothing he can do to get the Olympic Gold Medalist off of him. The cavalry arrives as Chavo Guerrero, Evan Bourne, Chris Masters and Carlito sprint to the ring and try to save their boss but Steiner, Nash, Joe and Booker meet them at the pass and quickly dismantle them. Next, a crap load of security come threw the curtain and run to the ring but Steiner, Nash, Joe and Book get out of the ring and stand at the bottom of the ramp, waiting for them, not wanting them to get even close to Angle, who is still twisting Vince’s ankle, trying to snap it in two. Scott, Book, Kevin and Joe destroy the security members with ease. The big dogs come out next as John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, MVP and Mark Henry attempt to help their boss. After a quick scuffle, the five members of the Raw roster break threw the Main Event Mafia’s barricade and slide into the ring. Angle, realized that he was about to be attacked so he quickly rolled out of the ring, but the damage was done and the message was sent. Angle and the rest of the Main Event Mafia went threw the crowd before Cena, DX, MVP or Henry could do any more damage on them.

Finally, some members of the medical team got to the ring as Cena, DX, MVP and Henry yelled at The Main Event Mafia to get back in the ring and fight them but they weren’t stupid, they knew they did what they had to do and they knew that it was time to leave the ring. The announcers played up the fact that Vince’s ankle was probably snapped by Kurt as medical staff help him to the back.

Commercial Break

After we return from the break, we are shown a recap of what transpired before the commercials. The announcers play it up some more, stating that Vince has been taken to a local medical facility and they are hearing that Vince has a broken ankle.

Finally, we get to the first contest of the evening which is between the WWE Diva’s Champion, Melina and the women she defeated for the Butterfly belt, Jillian Hall in a non-title match. This is a typical diva’s match with a few botches and all around, not the most exciting action in the world. Jillian puts up a good effort, trying to defeat the champ and possibly earn herself a title match at a later date. Melina is too good though and after about seven minutes of in ring action, Melina scores the pinfall with a devastating Primal Scream.

The Diva’s action doesn’t stop there though. After the match has ended, Melina begins to celebrate on each turnbuckle, getting the crowd pumped up but some unfamiliar music begins to play. Melina stares curiously at the entrance ramp, waiting for whoever it is to come out and she is shocked when the behemoth, Awesome Kong erupts threw the curtain. Kong makes her way to the ring and Melina, not one to back down from a fight, stands he ground and waits for the gargantuan woman to enter the ring. Once Kong gets in the ring, Melina starts to throw some fists at her but Kong is just too strong and quickly gains the upper hand. Kong then delivers a huge Implant Buster to Melina and leaves her battered and broken in the ring.

We then go backstage to Mick Foley’s office. Foley is just getting into his office and is setting some personal pictures on his desk. Foley is mumbling to himself that this is a nice office. He goes over to his chair and runs his hand across the top of it and mutters to himself that this is a nice chair. Foley plops down into his seat and examines his desk. Someone enters the room and the camera turns to reveal, the new United States Champion, The Miz! Miz is standing there with the US Title over his shoulder and a cocky look on his face. The look of cockiness soon turns to a look of disgust. Miz yells out “What is that smell!?” Miz sniffs around the room for a second and then tells Mick that it must be his sweater. Miz asks Mick if he’s ever washed that thing and if he knows what a shower is, because it doesn’t look like he‘s ever used one. Mick looks kind of offended. Miz tells Mick that its time to get down to business though because at Hell In A Cell, he won the United States Championship and he proved to everyone that he is AWESOME! Miz soaks in his own awesomeness and doesn’t notice that big Super Mex, Hernandez has walked into the room. Mick asks Miz if he’s done because if he’s up to it, he can try to prove it again when he faces this man, Hernandez, one-on-one in a non-title match…tonight. Miz says “Really?” and then he looks over Hernandez. He asks Mick if he knows who he is, the united states champion. Miz says that he doesn’t even think Hernandez is legal. Hernandez slaps Miz across the face and walks away.

Commercial Break

When we return to Monday Night Raw, its time for the second bout of the night and it will be between the former US Champion, Kofi Kingston and one of the TNA acquisitions, Christopher Daniels. This match was mind blowing with fast paced action and crazy spots. There wasn’t a single down moment in this match between these two very athletic superstars. This match was designed to show the crowd just what Daniels was capable of and that’s exactly what it did. After about 10 minutes of total non-stop action () Daniels picked up the victory after taking Kofi down with a devastating enzuguri and then getting the pinfall with the best moonsault ever. After the match, Chris actually got a few pops as he celebrated with the crowd.

Backstage, the former WWE Champion, John Cena is walking threw the hall when he is jumped from behind by now one, not two, not even three but actually five men, the Main Event Mafia to be more exact. They attack him from behind and put the boot to him. Cena cant defend himself, the odds are too great and all he can stand to do is cover up and hope its over soon. After several seconds, a few security members try to help Cena but the Main Event Mafia fight them off and continue the brutal mugging. They keep kicking him, over and over again and after a few seconds they let up, leaving him motionless on the ground. They walk away, looking pleased with what they did. Booker T is yelling at Cena “What now golden boy!? What Now!?” More security members show up to make sure that the Main Event Mafia doesn’t start the attack again. Some medical staff show up and start to check and make sure that Cena is ok.

The announcers state the fact that the Main Event Mafia is out of control, taking out John Cena and Vince McMahon on their first night alone. The announcers ask themselves just who can stop this group and then remind the audience that D-Generation X has a chance to take down two out of five of them tonight. The announcers then tell the audience that it is now time for the Miz versus Hernandez. They point out the fact that earlier tonight, The Miz disrespected Hernandez and although they don’t know much about Hernandez, he doesn’t look like the kind of man that you make a remark like that about.

During this match, The Miz did two things, he tried to stay away from the pissed of Super Mexican and he taunted him, trying to piss him off even more and force him to make a mistake. Hernandez on the other hand is viciously going after Miz, never letting up once he gets his hands on him. Hernandez puts on a display of pure power as he tosses Miz around the ring like a rag doll. Hernandez has mercy and finally decides to put Miz out of his misery as he drops him with a brutal Border Toss for the one, two, three. The announcers play up the fact that Hernandez just beat the United States Champion on his first night and that should put him up the ladder for a US Title shot later on. The announcers also play up the fact that the new additions to the roster, curiously of TNA have made huge Impacts here tonight.

We then go backstage to Mick Foley’s office again. Mick is sitting in his chair, spinning around and looking pretty bored. Mick’s entrance music starts to play from his cell phone, he has a call. Mick picks it up and says hello to Mister McMahon. Vince can be heard yelling at him threw the phone. Mick repeats what Mr. McMahon said, “Your sitting in a hospital bed?” and Vince can be heard screaming at him again. Mick pulls the phone away from his ear and mumbles “I feel like I’m on commentary again.” Mick then puts the phone back to his ear and tells Vince that he will definitely do something about the Main Event Mafia. Mick asks how Scott Steiner and Booker T versus Triple H and Shawn Michaels in the main event sounds. Vince isn’t screaming anymore and Mick asks him if he likes that. Vince starts screaming again though and the question of “What about the rest of them” can be heard. Mick tells Vince that he’s had a lot of experience dealing with the Main Event Mafia and he knows, that you cant just rush into a battle with them, you have to take your time. Mick say’s that he’ll take care of the rest of them in due time. Mick says goodbye to Vince and hangs up his phone. Mick breaths a loud sigh of relief as we go to a commercial break.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the commercial break, Voices by Rev Theory comes across the speakers and for the first time tonight, we see the WWE Champion, Randy Orton, along side his Legacy stable mates, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. The three of them slowly make their way to the ring. Once in the ring, Randy grabs a microphone and waits for the crowd to stop booing him. Randy says that at Hell In A Cell a few weeks ago, he and John Cena went threw hell and back but at the end of the night, he was still the WWE Champion, just like he said he would be. Randy says that time and time again, he proves that he is the best there is today and the WWE Title hanging over his shoulder proves. Randy continues to say that per the stipulations of the match, John Cena will not be receiving another WWE Title shot but Randy says that after everything that happened tonight, Cena probably has other things to worry about anyways. All of a sudden, the arena goes black and some music that the WWE universe has never heard before starts playing but a few people recognize the first sentence of the entrance…”Get ready to fly,” AJ Styles busts threw the curtain to a small ovation.

Styles makes his way to the ring high fiving fans along the way. Styles gets in the ring and grabs a mic. AJ cuts right to the point and says that he doesn’t think Randy is the best and AJ says that he doesn’t even think that Randy is THE Champion. AJ says that even though WWE took the TNA world title away from him, he still sees himself as the TNA World Champion and all the TNA fans around the world still see him as the TNA World Champion, belt or no belt. AJ continues to say that he never lost the TNA world title but Orton cuts him off before he can continue. Randy says that AJ was nothing more then a champion in a second rate promotion that no one had ever heard of before WWE bought them. Randy continues to say that the TNA World Title wasn’t a world title, it was a belt for misfits and castaways. AJ cuts Randy off though and informs Orton that he won the TNA World Title from Kurt Angle, someone who has beaten Randy on a few occasions back in the day.

Orton seems to take offence to that and rather then continuing with the petty insults, he asks AJ just why he’s out here anyways. AJ tells Randy that he wants to prove himself. He says that Randy was right about one thing, TNA wasn’t that big of a promotion and that is just another reason why he has to go all out every single night here on Monday Night Raw, to show everyone what he’s all about and to show everyone what TNA was all about. Randy takes a second to think and then tells AJ that he’s feeling generous tonight so he’ll give AJ a chance to prove himself, right here, right now against Cody Rhodes. AJ accepts and the match is underway.

AJ looked great in this match, cutting Cody off at every pass and getting in a lot of offence, really showing the crowd what he’s capable of. Cody didn’t get completed jobbed out though, he did get in a fair share of offence. On a few occasions though, Ted DiBiase got involved in the match. Randy on the other hand, just stood there and studied AJ, not bothering to get involved in the match. The finish came after nearly ten minutes when AJ planted Cody to the mat with a huge Styles Clash. After the match, Ted tried to get in AJ’s face but AJ slapped Teddy across his. Ted didn’t take too kindly to that and he smoked AJ in the face. AJ turned away from Ted and got caught with a big RKO. Randy, Ted and eventually Cody started to put the boot to AJ but AJ’s buddies from TNA, Christopher Daniels, Amazing Red and Hernandez ran to the ring and Legacy got out of there before things got out of hand.

Next up, we got backstage to D-Generation X’s locker room. Shawn and Hunter are getting ready for their main event match which is coming up next. MVP and Mark Henry come in and DX get to their feet as they are a little on edge. MVP tells them that it’s just them. MVP then tells them that they saw when the Main Event Mafia did to Cena earlier tonight and they cant let it happen to anyone else. Mark tells Shawn and Hunter that if things get a little bit crazy out there tonight, they’ve got their backs. Shawn and Hunter don’t say anything, but nothing needs to be said, they are grateful for the help. The four of them leave together and head towards the ring.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the break, the Main Event Mafia’s music hits and the five members of the elite group come threw the curtain. It’s only their first night there but after everything they did tonight, they get a fair amount of heat. Book and Scott are obviously dressed to compete but Angle, Kevin and Joe are not. Next up, DX’s music hits. Shawn and Hunter wasted no time getting to the fight as they sprinted to the ring, slid in and right away started to brawl with Scott and Book. Most of the match was just that, a brawl. Both teams looked pretty good in this match with neither team keeping the upper hand for too long. There was a period of the match though where Scott and Book isolated Triple H, cutting the ring in half and not allowing him to tag out but after about three minutes of working on him, he finally got a second wind, fought back and made the got tag to HBK, Shawn Michaels. Shawn lit the ring up, fighting both Scott and Book. Shawn put Book out of the ring and started to tune up the band, looking to hit the Sweet Chin Music on Scotty Steiner but once Shawn lifted his leg, Scott went down low and dropped Shawn with a low blow. The match was instantly awarded to DX but Scott and Book didn’t care.

The remaining three members of The Main Event Mafia got in the ring and attempted to beat down Shawn and Hunter but MVP and Henry intercepted them and a huge nine man brawl broke out inside the ring with Henry brawling with Nash, Angle fighting Hunter, Shawn going up against Joe and MVP getting attacked by both Booker and Scott Steiner. The show went off the air with this image of all hell breaking loose.

ECW on Sci-Fi Preview

Original’s Return
Thanks to WWE purchasing TNA Wrestling, there will be a few ECW Originals returning to the Land Of Extreme in The Dudley Boys and Rhino. It goes without saying that ECW has changed a lot since their time in ECW and it will be interesting to see how these three ECW Originals adjust to the changes. ECW General Manager Tiffany has already been quoted as saying that she knows it will be a big change for the ECW Originals so she will do everything in her power to make them feel at home. It wont take long for people to find out Rhino’s feelings on ECW because it has already been announced that Rhino will appear on the Abraham Washington Show. What kind of impact will the Originals have on ECW? Will they be pleased with the changes or will they be hostile towards them?

ECW Title Hunt
Over the past few months William Regal along with his large companions, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov have been in the hunt for the ECW Title. Although Regal has received numerous ECW Title shot against the reigning champion, Christian, he has always come up short. Despite ECW General Manager Tiffany telling Regal on multiple occasions that he will not be getting another shot at the ECW Title, he has still chased after it. What will Regal do or say tonight to prove that he deserves another ECW Title shot? Or will he do anything?

Masked Obsession
Over the past few weeks there has been a budding rivalry between three or two (Depending on how you look at it) of ECW’s youngest stars, these men being, Paul Burchill, The Hurricane and Gregory Helms. Burchill has been convinced that Gregory Helms is in fact, The Hurricane and he has stopped at nothing to prove what he believes to be true, to the world. What kind of trick will Burchill pull tonight to prove that Gregory Helms and The Hurricane are one in the same?

Confirmed Matches
D’Angelo Dinero versus Zack Ryder
The British Invasion versus Yoshi Tatsu and Tommy Dreamer

ECW On Sci-Fi
October 20th, 2009 | Columbia; South Carolina

What is this place?

After the opening credits and the announcers introductions, we go to the top of the ramp where Abraham Washington’s set is in place. Abe and Tony come out next and Tony welcomes us to the Abraham Washington Show. Abe then introduces our guest for this evening, one of the newest superstars to ECW, a former ECW World Champion, The War Machine, RHINO! Rhino steps threw the curtain looking unhappy with his surroundings. Abe gets right to the point and asks Rhino what its like to be back in the WWE and Rhino answers by telling Abe that this is the last place he wants to be. Abe then asks his next question “What is it like being back on ECW?” Rhino angrily tells Abe that this isn’t ECW. He tells Abe that it might be called ECW but it isn’t even close to the ECW he knows and loves. Rhino says that ECW was hardcore and this is anything but hardcore, Rhino says this is stupid. Rhino continues by saying that the original ECW would have never had some idiot hosting a stupid talk show. Abe cuts him off and says that this isn’t the original ECW, this is different but Rhino replies to that by saying that he can see that this is different and he doesn’t like it.

Rhino then tells Abe that he has another thing to say, he doesn’t like him either and with that Rhino split Abe in half with a devastating GORE! Rhino got a mixed reaction for this and he went back to the back. Tony Atlas told the crowd that was all for today before going to check on Abe but Rhino came back out and slapped Tony Atlas to the ground before leaving again.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the break, it is time for the first match of the night and that match will be a tag team match between the newcomers, The British Invasion and Yoshi Tatsu and his partner, Tommy Dreamer. Tatsu and Dreamer don’t have nearly as much experience together as the British Invasion does and it showed in this match with The British Invasion using their superior chemistry to isolate Tommy Dreamer and keep him from tagging Yoshi Tatsu in. Yoshi tried to enter the ring a few times to help Tommy but the ref would hold him back and while the ref was distracted, The British Invasion would double team Tommy. The British Invasions muscle, Rob Terry also got involved a few times, attacking Tommy on the outside of the ring while the other members of the group distracted the ref. Tommy finally made the hot tag out to Yoshi after delivering a enzuguri to Doug Williams. Yoshi came in with a head of steam and fought off both Doug and Brutus. Yoshi attempted to go for the win with the Roundhouse Kick but Doug ducked it and Yoshi accidentally hit the referee, knocking him out. Rob Terry took advantage of this and rolled into the ring and choke slammed Yoshi with authority. He then took Dreamer off the apron with a big boot and rolled out of the ring just as another referee made his way threw the curtain. This was just enough to give The British Invasion their first win in the “land of extreme.”

We then go backstage to Tiffany’s office. Tiffany is sitting at her desk, working on some paper work when William Regal, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov walk in. Tiffany stands up and welcomes Regal. William says that he isn’t here for small talk. Regal says that he is here because he feels he is deserving of another ECW Title match. Tiffany disagrees with this though, telling Regal that he has had more then enough chances and he wont be getting anymore, at least until he earns it. Regal slowly starts to lose his calm but before things can get out of hand, The ECW Champion himself, Christian, walks into the room. Christian says that he could help but overhearing their conversation and he thinks he has a way he can work it out. He says that Regal has been a thorn in his side for months and frankly, he‘s getting tired of Regal and his goons attacking him from behind. Christian says how about Regal gets another ECW Title match but if he loses, he wont get another ECW Title match as long as he is champion. Regal takes a moment to think and he calms down as he ponders his decision. Regal tells Christian to let him get this straight, if he wins, he becomes ECW Champion but if Christian wins, he will not get another ECW Title match as long as Christian is champion? Christian tells Regal that is correct. He says that he doesn’t care what Regal does if he loses, he can become a janitor, he can serve cotton candy to the fans, he can fight anyone else on the ECW roster, he just stays away from him as long as he is ECW Champion. William doesn’t look happy with what Christian just said but he says that he accepts the offer and then leaves with Zeke and Vlad in toe.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the break, we go right to the backstage area. The announcers inform us that this happened during the break. Shelton Benjamin is seen walking around backstage, minding his own business when out of nowhere he is jumped and brutally assaulted by Sheamus. Sheamus just kept on kicking Shelton, beating him senseless. Sheamus then turned him over, got on top of him and proceeded to pound several forearms into the face of Shelton Benjamin. Security eventually arrived on the scene and pulled Sheamus off of Shelton but it didn’t matter because the damage was already done.

The next match of the night is between two of ECW’s youngest stars, Zack Ryder and the newcomer, D’Angelo Dinero who oddly enough, wore the retired TNA X-Division Championship to the ring with him when he made his entrance. In this match, it was a game of seeing who could cheat the win out of the other quicker with both using the ropes and pulling the tights on numerous occasions when going for pinfalls. Dinero got to show what he was capable of in this match for the WWE fans who don’t remember him as Elijah Burke or haven’t seen TNA. The crowd wasn’t exactly all over this match as they weren’t sure who to cheer for but it seemed like the cheers leaned more towards Zack Ryder. The finish came after about ten minutes when D’Angelo firmly planted his knees in Ryder’s back with the DDE for the one, two, three.

After the match, D’Angelo got on the mic and informed everyone who doesn’t know who he is, that he’s The Pope, D’Angelo Dinero, the X-Division Champion. He continued to say that it doesn’t matter if WWE has retired the belt because he is STILL the X-Division Champion whether the WWE likes it or not. D’Angelo then dropped the mic and left. The announcers informed the people at home what the X-Division title was and what it was all about.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the break, we are greeted by ECW’s newest interviewer, So Cal Val. She introduces herself and then introduces her guests, the Dudley Boys. Bubba looks a little surprised with what Cal just called him, telling her that he and D-Von haven’t been called that in a long time. Bubba says its good to see a friendly face in Val though because they are in a place that is so different and so unfamiliar. Bubba says that he and Rhino usually have a hard time seeing eye to eye but on this rare occasion, he actually agrees with Rhino. Bubba says that this isn’t ECW, this is a poor excuse for ECW, a shell of the former glory that was Extreme Championship Wrestling. Bubba then says he and D-Von are, he says that they are the greatest tag team of all time and they are stuck on a show that has practically no tag teams. Bubba says that there is something wrong with this picture. Big Show and Chris Jericho then walk up. Jericho says that there is something wrong here and its Bubba’s delusion that he and D-Von are the greatest tag team of all time. Jericho says that he was close though because they are standing next to the greatest tag team of all time and the unified WWE tag team champions.

Bubba gets right in Jericho’s face and asks Jericho if that’s right. Jericho gets closer to Bubba and tells him that it is. Bubba then says that maybe he and D-Von will just have to prove Jericho wrong. Big Show then moves Jericho aside and steps into his place, up against Bubba and tells Bubba that he’d like to see him try and then he calls him a “Little man.” Bubba then clubs Show over the head with a forearm and the brawl has begun. D-Von and Jericho start going at it as Show gains the upper hand on Bubba. Security gets in there before anything serious can transpire though. It takes two men to hold back each Dudley, two men to hold back Jericho and four men to hold back Big Show. The entire time they are being pulled apart, Bubba is yelling at Jericho and Show, saying “C’mon champs, lets see what yah’ got!” But Jericho and Show seem content with walking away from this battle.

We then somewhere else backstage to Josh Matthews alongside Paul Burchill and Paul’s sister, Katie Lea Burchill. Josh asks Paul why it is that he has targeted The Hurricane the last few weeks. Paul says that he is an educated, athletically gifted gentlemen with everything that you could ask for in a performer, he is the total package yet the falls cheer on a loser in a costume, The Hurricane. Burchill says that all these people might not as intelligent as him but he would think that even they could see that The Hurricane isn’t actually a super-hero. Josh Matthews then says that he understands Paul has a proposition for The Hurricane. Paul says that is correct. Paul says that he has had enough of The Hurricane, he wants him gone, for good and he wants to show all of these fools that he is nothing more then a man, just like him, just like them. Paul says that he proposes he and The Hurricane have a match, if he wins, The Hurricane has to unmask. Paul says that he is a fair man though so since if Hurricane loses, he will lose something, Paul says he'll put something on the line too. Paul says that if The Hurricane can manage to defeat him next week, him and his sister, Katie Lea, will leave ECW. Paul says that he expects an answer by next week.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the final break of the night, it is time for the main event, the ECW Title match between William Regal and Christian, with high stakes for both men. Regal is accompanied by Zeke and Vladimir. Christian gets a huge pop when he comes out. This was a great match, both men really shined in this contest. It went for about twelve minutes and had non-stop action throughout. Zeke and Vladimir tried on a few occasions to cost Christian the match but Christian just ended up knocking them off the apron every time but Regal would always capitalize on the distraction. After a few attempts at screwing Christian, Zeke and Vlad were ejected from ringside by the referee. Regal couldn’t believe it was almost pinned with a rollup because he was distracted but he managed to kick out. The finish came when Regal went for the Knee Trembler but Christian dodged it and nearly planted Regal with the Killswitch but Regal pulled the legs out from Christian from behind and snapped in the Regal Stretch. Christian screamed as Regal pulled on Christian’s face but he had no where to go, he was in the middle of the ring and he couldn’t pull both his weight and Regal’s weight. It almost looked like Christian was going to tap out but he seemed to get his fight back and started scratching and clawing and pushing and pulling with everything he had, trying to get to the ropes and finally, after being in the hold for nearly a minute, he got to the ropes and Regal broke the hold on the four count.

Once Regal was off of Christian, the referee got in Regal’s face for not breaking the hold until four but Regal just brushed him off. Regal should have been keeping his eyes on Christian though because Christian took advantage of the distraction by dropkicking Regal in the back, forcing Regal to bound off the ropes chest first and stumble into a roll up for the pinfall. Regal got up right away and started screaming with fury, pulling on his hair and punching the mat. Christian got out of the ring, not wanting to fight with Regal anymore. Christian celebrated on his way up the ramp and once at the top of the ramp, he turned to go to the back but out of nowhere, The War Machine, Rhino busted threw the curtains and gored Christian on the steel entrance ramp. Christian rolled around in pain as Rhino pounded his chest, looking quite proud of himself. Rhino stood over Christian and Regal continued his temper tantrum as the show went off the air.

The Leftovers

The opening credits air and the Raw announcers welcome us to the show. They inform us that the first match of the night will be between Carlito and Evan Bourne and it is coming up right now.

Carlito is the first out and to the surprise of everyone, including the announcers, he is accompanied by non other then Chris Masters. There isn’t any explanation for this but the announcers remind everyone that they are former tag team partners and maybe they have rekindled that. Evan Bourne is obviously out next. This is a great high flying, high speed, non-stop action match with these two very athletic men going toe to toe with each other and awing the live crowd with their daredevil like moves. The finish came about near the ten minute mark when Evan Bourne seemed to have the upper hand. He had Carlito down and was scaling the turnbuckle, looking for the Shooting Star Press though. Carlito, realizing he was in trouble, got the referees attention and made like he was injured, with the ref distracted, Chris Masters pushed Evan off the top rope and Even went flying face first into the announce table.

Carlito could be heard telling the ref that he’s ok now. The ref then noticed Evan on the outside and even though he didn’t know how he got there, he started the count. Evan nearly made it inside the ring but just as he was on the apron, Carlito drove him back out with a baseball slide, giving him the win by countout. After the match, Carlito and Chris celebrated together but the irate Evan Bourne got in the ring and in their faces, which proved to be an unwise choice as Chris took his head off with a brutal polish hammer. Carlito and Chris then decided to send a message to Evan by putting the boot to him. They got bored after a few seconds and decided to leave before security got there.

Jerry and Michael tried to make Masters and Carlito look good by telling the fans watching at home that these two are dangerous alone but together, they might be unstoppable. Jerry made a point of saying that Monday Night’s might have a new alliance on their hands and everyone in the locker room should take notice.

Commercial Break

When we come back from the break, it is time for the second match of the night and it is a tag match from the land of extreme, ECW. The teams are Paul Burchill and Sheamus versus The Hurricane and Shelton Benjamin, two feuds rolled into one match. Matt Striker and Don West tell the fans at home that on ECW Shelton was attacked from behind by Sheamus backstage and it should be interesting to see if that comes into play in this match.

These two teams have very different styles with Sheamus and Paul using power and Shelton and Hurricane using speed and agility. Neither team got a clear upper hand for too long with the different styles clashing and cancelling each other out. The finisher came after a solid fifteen minutes of action between there four young men, the match neared the ending. The Hurricane was starting to build momentum and it looked like he might pick up the win against the legal man, Sheamus but Burchill got involved and attacked The Hurricane from behind which prompted Shelton to get involved and clothesline Paul and himself out of the ring. The Hurricane was temporarily distracted and Sheamus took advantage and plated him with the Crucifix Powerbomb for the one, two, three.

Sheamus and Paul celebrated after the match, each of them having defeated their rivals on this evening.

Commercial Break

When we return from the second commercial break of the evening, it is time for the main event. The Smackdown announcers, Tazz and JR are now at the announce table. This match was between two of Smackdown’s biggest stars, the Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison and Matt Hardy. They showed respect for each other at the beginning of the match by shaking hands. This was a good, clean match where both men just went out there to win. There was a lot of fast paced action in this match, mostly from John Morrison but Matt Hardy also moved pretty well in this match too. The finish of the match came when Morrison went for the Star Ship Pain but Hardy rolled out of the way. As Morrison was getting up, Matt stalked and waited for Morrison to get to his feet so he could hit the Twist Of Fate. Hardy went for it but Morrison pushed Hardy off when he turned. Hardy went into the ropes and when he came back, he ran right into a devastating Nitro Blast which gave Morrison the victory. After a few moments of celebrating, Morrison helped Matt to his feet and Matt raised John’s hand, before graciously exiting the ring. Morrison celebrated with the Intercontinental Title as the show went off the air.

Writers Note: I know this is really short but there isn’t a whole lot I can do for Superstars, I mean, Superstars in real life usually just consists of three or four matches and commercials with no promos or anything like that so it might seem short but that’s how it is. I guess I’ll also give an update on how this recap format is working out for me. I’m enjoying writing like this since I can get my ideas out without having to right a big 30 page show, so I think I’ll be sticking with this for awhile and maybe once I get comfortable with where I am storyline wise, I’ll start writing full weekly shows.

Friday Night Smackdown Preview

Holla Holla Playas
It has been announced that Smackdown General Manager, Theodore Long will open this Smackdown with a welcome to all the former TNA talent and all the former TNA fans who will be a part of Smackdown for the first time. Teddy has been quoted as saying that he is very happy to have all the new talent on his show to help Smackdown become the A-Show. There have been rumblings that not everyone from TNA is very happy with being on Smackdown though. Will Teddy Long's welcoming be appreciated?

Punked
After losing the World Heavyweight Championship to the Undertaker at Hell In A Cell several weeks ago, CM Punk has been extremely unhappy with not receiving a rematch at the title yet and Punk has been very vocal on WWE.com saying that "Teddy Long should be fired if he thinks for a second that CM Punk doesn’t deserve a rematch". Will CM Punk get his rematch or is he at the back of the line again?

Collision Coarse
It was announced on WWE.com that The Dudley Boys would be heading to Smackdown tonight to call out Chris Jericho and the Big Show after their brawl on ECW. The Dudleys are apparently extremely frustrated with Jericho’s comments on ECW and are looking to take out their frustrations on Jericho himself right here tonight. Will Chris Jericho answer The Dudley's call? Or will the Dudley's even show up?

Confirmed Matches
Mike Knox versus Kane
Mickie James and Tara versus Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool
