Re: Calum132 & JDawgWWE Present: World Wrestling Entertainment
I think you are doing a great job with the way you are setting everything up. The edition of Angelina Love is awesome. Spice up the Divas. She could work some good matches with Gail. I have a question, when do you think you will have Nigel and Bryan debut? I am really interested in seeing what you do with them. But yeah great job so far!

I know nothing of this thread, you caught my attention with your review in Rocker’s thread and I decided to click on the link in your signature and check out your thread. Please excuse any obvious misjudgements I make due to my lack of kn0wledge of this thread.
Your format is different, is the style of which you used to write all your shows?
Major props for getting rid of this guest host rubbish. I hate it and you should be commended for abolishing it. Eric Bischoff being the boss is fine, there aren’t too many better choices around. None the less, very stock standard spiel from Bischoff. It would’ve been good if you had him go to a little more depth with his promo, but alas, not to be. At least we’ve got a big Main Event set for the night. Wonder who Cena’s partner will be. Orton’s arrival, as your Champion, was a no brainer. Randy Orton has to be the most commonly used champion around these parts at the moment. Orton dropping Bischoff was a bit random to be honest… is Eric a face now? I don’t understand why Cena would make the save for the man that made his life a living hell about 4 years ago… but hey, this is WWE afterall. Clearly Orton and Cena are feuding, another one that’s been done to death, so hopefully after the next PPV, you start to head in your own direction. As an opener to the show with the introduction of a new General Manager, I feel as if you could’ve done a lot more with this to make Bischoff’s arrival seem huge and you could’ve had more in the exchange between Orton and Bischoff instead of just having Orton drop him almost as soon as he blew in.
Okay. Although this match was only brief in the summary, which is fine, it was too choppy and it started and stopped in sentences too many times. It read like this. It wasn’t good. It was too bland. There were too many fullstops. Use a comma, they are revolutionary invention. Also, you need to be careful with your spelling as well as your grammar as I’ve already mentioned because presentation is everything. I’m not a fan of Carlito going over because I think he’s mediocre at well, everything and Evan Bourne is much more talented than him. Carlito going over with the use of the ropes is obviously going to build to bigger a better things because I don’t think things will just die off now.
There we go, the aftermath justifies my way of thinking… Bourne teams with Primo? WTF? That confuses me and makes no sense to the naked eye but I’m sure you’ve got a reason for it. Your poor sentence structure again made this hard to read, please, make better use of commas, it will make the world of difference. Believe me.
Short promo from Cena. I’m not sure why he’s looking for revenge following last week, Orton’s obviously done something, but my question to you is, if Cena was looking for revenge on Orton, why did he just stare at him?! At least you’ve clarified the Bischoff issue.
Hmm. Maryse is ordinary. Again, commas are your friend, dude. Use them. Pretty lacklustre promo here, nothing really amounting out of it other than the match between the French whore and Mickie.
Firstly, once again, your sentence structure was very poor in this one and as such the flow of this match was not good. I question the intelligence of having the face of the feud walk out on her match to follow Maryse up the aisle when she wasn’t actually provoked anyway. All she did was get up and thus, this decision makes no sense. You really should read a few other threads to get some tips on how you can improve your matches so you can have them flow more effectively, making them a better read.
Okay. Bit of hype for Bragging Rights now, which is fine. DX putting over their younger partners and then dogging Jack Swagger was good. The good old parking lot brawl is a good way to put over a feud of this nature but I think you could’ve written it a lot better. It all happened so quickly, if you get what I mean. One minute, all of team Raw were in the ring and SD were on the titantron threatening, then one second later, they were out in the parking lot with them. You need to describe how things occur in much more depth instead of something like, Team SD threaten team Raw on the Titantron from the Parking Lot. They challenge them to a fight. They accept. Raw go to the parking lot. And they fight. That’s how it came across. You should’ve talked more about Raw’s trek backstage and to the parking lot and maybe even thrown in a commercial break , then when we return from commercial, they’re in the parking lot.
Chavo beats Noble, nothing spectacular here. Again, sentence structure and the flow of your matches needs a lot of work. Re-read them and you make your own decision if they flow.
Hm. Carlito is a knob.
And now we get a little bit of the brawl which amounts to absolutely nothing……………..
Hype for the Main Event is good.
Again, sentence structure is poor. “Back in the ring, The Miz is already in the ring.” You don’t need to tell us twice that we’re back in the ring. Clearly this was just a filler to put over The Miz v Morrison. From a first time readers perspective, I can’t tell whether this is heel Miz v face Morrison or heel Miz v heel Morrison, which is disappointing because I believe these things need to be firmly established.
Pft. There’s no way Santino is going to be Cena’s partner. At least make it a little believable if you’re gonna try and swerve us.
I’d love to see a Chokeslam countered into a Superkick, that would be entertaining indeed. Anyway, now I think you’re going a bit overboard with this parking lot brawl because it either would’ve been broken up by now or one team would’ve dusted the other. Hopefully the Batista Bomb to Hunter will be the end of this one for tonight and we don’t have any more instalments of this brawl because I believe it’s worn out for tonight.
I have an inkling that Ted DiBiase is going to be in line for a big push soon, there’s been a couple of little subtle indicators towards that tonight in my opinion.
You need to take more care with spelling and grammar. As I said before, presentation is everything. Use spell check dude. Comes across as if you have no interest in trying to be the best you can be. Your sentence structure was actually a little better in this one and it flowed a little better too, but it was still far from great. Use more joining words instead of full stops all the time. Words like “he” and “they” or their nickname, can be help too so you don’t have to keep saying “Cena did this. Then Cena did that. And then Cena kicked someone. And then Cena sucked his own penis. And then Cena hit the FU. And then he got the 3 count.” I hope you get what I mean, because that’s how most of the matches have come across. Solid main event, good to see Kennedy and Cena get the win. I’d say Kennedy’s got a bright future by the looks of things, so it will be interesting to see things unravel.
Overall, very much a hit and miss show. You need more depth in your writing. You need to be more descriptive in what happens. You need to fix spelling, grammar and sentence structure and doing so will improve the flow of your promos and particularly your matches. I think you have some potential as you have some interesting ideas but you just need to portray them better. Writing in the recapped formula you use, it should be very hard for a show to become monotonous and as such you should try and make it as good as possible, but unfortunately by the end of this, it did become quite monotonous. I hope you don’t think I’m trying to be negative here, I’m just not in the habit of riding people’s dicks and telling them everything is great, I’m a straight shooter. I hope you take what I’ve said on board as it’s very much constructive criticism. You could have some ability, just take on board some advice, read some of the renowned threads around the place, particularly those in the Hall of Fame forum, anything by Wolfy, Szumi or Renegade should leave you in fairly good stead. Read other peoples shows, then read your own. You’ll learn plenty. Trust me. I’ll be back for another look soon to see if you’ve progressed.

Friday Night SmackDown

US Airways Center | Phoenix, Arizona
Official Preview SmackDown comes to the US Airways Center this week and it is guaranteed that the Phoenix fans will go home happy.
Last week on SmackDown the World Heavyweight Champion’s sinister mind games continued to make its path to the former champion CM Punk. This week on SmackDown, we will hear from ‘The Straightedge Superstar’. Will he fall victim to The Deadman’s torturing mind games or will he be the one to escape it? Tune in to find out!
This past Monday on RAW we witnessed an all-out intense brawl between Team RAW and Team SmackDown all throughout the night, with it finally ending when SmackDown’s Batista powerbombed the co-captain of Team RAW, Triple H, on a car. Rumors have been speculating for the past few days and Team SmackDown co-captain, and one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Chris Jericho, has stated that Team SmackDown are ‘calling out’ Team RAW on this week’s edition of SmackDown. Will we see more intense all-out brawls between the two teams? Will Team RAW show up? Find out on SmackDown!
This week on the already huge SmackDown ‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix will go one-on-one with Eve Torres. After Phoenix’s attack on the new Women’s Champion Melina last week we have to wonder if we will see ‘The Paparazzi Diva’ get reattribution. Tune in tonight.
All this and much, much more on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Scheduled for SmackDown CM Punk to Speak
Team SmackDown to ‘call out’ Team RAW
Beth Phoenix vs. Eve Torres
Matt Hardy vs. Paul Burchill
Sheamus vs. Finlay
Yeah, I know. It's a little late, but its entirely worth it. We're glad to be back with this and we're gonna deliver. Anyways, last SD before Bragging Rights. Hope you enjoy!

Friday Night SmackDown
10/23/2009
US Airways Center | Phoenix, Arizona
Friday Night SmackDown opens up with a replay of last week. We see ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ cutting a promo at the start of the show, saying that he will never believe in The Undertaker’s ‘mind games’. We then see Theodore Long announcing the main event. Following that, we see Punk being interviewed by Josh Matthews before Matthews is seemingly ‘possessed’ by The Undertaker. We see purple smoke fill the area before Kane saves him. We cut to Kane’s conversation with Punk, as Punk just ignores him. We finally cut to the last few minutes of last weeks SmackDown, we see the burning CM Punk dummy hanging from a tree before Undertaker nails a Chokeslam onto Punk.
Finally, the recap video ends and we cut to a backstage hallway. We see ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ bringing in a luggage suitcase, seemingly just arriving at the arena. He begins to walk down the hallway for a few moments. Suddenly, the lights above him begin flickering on and off as Punk stops and stares up at the lights.
CM Punk: Oh boy … that’s so scary…
Punk smirks before continuing to walk down the hallway as the SmackDown opening video begins to play. Finally, we cut to the inside of the US Airways Center as tremendous white and blue pyro and fireworks set off onto the stage and all throughout the arena. We pan throughout the entire arena, showing tens of thousands of hyped WWE fans holding up their signs and banners. Finally, the familiar voice of ‘Good Ol’ JR’ begins to speak up…
Jim Ross: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Friday Night SmackDown, the hottest show to be brought to you on MyNetwork TV! I’m ‘Good Ol’ JR’ Jim Ross, sitting here alongside Todd Grisham!
We cut to the announce table.
Todd Grisham: I say it every week, JR, but I’d never want to miss not even an edition of SmackDown. Tonight is going to be off the charts.
Jim Ross: Indeed it is, Todd, and I can’t wait to begin.
“Live For The Moment” blasts through the PA system as the crowd erupts as none other than MATT HARDY steps out onto the stage, throws up the V1 sign, and heads down towards the ring.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making his way to the ring, Matt Hardy!
Todd Grisham: Well, JR, it looks like you didn’t have to wait long for the show to start because Matt Hardy is taking on Paul Burchill … right now!
Jim Ross: Indeed he is, Todd, and lemme tell ya’, both men are pure athletes no doubt about it. Matt Hardy, a young and talented veteran, if you wanna say so, has been in WWE since 1998, and I was the one to sign him. Paul Burchill, also a young and talented newcomer that has all the chances in the world to succeed. It’ll be a great match.
Hardy high-fives a few fans at ringside before making his way into the ring. He goes over to the ring rope, lifts his foot up onto it, and throws up another V1 sign to the crowds delight. Hardy’s music fades away as "Generator A” plays. Paul Burchill, alongside his valet and sister Katie Lea, step out through the curtain and onto the stage as the crowd sends a small heat reaction towards him.
Tony Chimel: And his opponent, making his way to the ring, accompanied by Katie Lea, Paul Burchill!
Todd Grisham: That young man has so much potential. He has the look, he has the skills, and I know that he’ll be a World Champion by 2011. I can bet on it.
Jim Ross: As I’ve always said, Todd, don’t put your money where your mouth is, he has the skills to succeed, but he’s got to get past Matt Hardy here tonight, and that’s not so much of an easy task.
The Burchill’s head down towards the ring as Paul keeps his eyes set on Hardy while Katie Lea is flaunting towards the crowd. Paul enters the ring while Katie Lea stands at ringside. Burchill’s music dies down as both men stand across from each other, anticipating for the bell.
Match 1: Singles
Matt Hardy Vs Paul Burchill (w/ Katie Lea)
Burchill gained the upper hand early on by working over Hardy’s neck. He continued to have the upper hand before Hardy jumped back into it and connected with a Side Effect. Hardy looked to go for the win but Katie Lea distracted him for a moment, for her brother to gain the advantage and get the win. Winner: Paul Burchill
Tony Chimel: The winner of the match, Paul Burchill!
“Generator A” begins to play as Katie Lea enters the ring and begins to celebrate with her brother over his victory over Matt Hardy.
Todd Grisham: Not so much of an easy task, huh? Paul Burchill just defeated Matt Hardy; we all saw it, JR.
Jim Ross: I never said that Burchill couldn’t beat him, Todd; I simply said it wouldn’t be an easy task. Both men showed one helluva performance here tonight.
Paul and Katie Lea continue to celebrate as they exit the ring and head up the ramp. We cut to Hardy, who begins to come back to his senses, before the camera cuts back to The Burchill’s, who are taunting at the top of the ramp as we fade to a commercial break.
{Commercial Break}
We return to SmackDown with a replay of last week’s Women’s Championship Match between the former champion Michelle McCool and the new champion Melina. We see the final moments in the match where Melina picked up the win, and the title. We cut to Melina’s celebration a few moments later when Beth Phoenix comes through the crowd and attacks her! We finally see Phoenix hit the new champion with the Glam Slam.
Following the video, we cut to the arena as “She Looks Good” plays. Eve Torres walks out onto the stage to some cheers, and whistles, from the crowd.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making her way to the ring, Eve!
Jim Ross: Well ladies and gentlemen, there is Eve Torres, and tonight, she’s taking on Beth Phoenix, who attacked the new Women’s Champion Melina last week, after her title win against the former champion, Michelle McCool, who has been sidelined with a dislocated ankle.
Todd Grisham: Some may not like what I’m about to say but Eve stands no chance against Beth Phoenix. ‘The Glamazon’ is what I like to call a ruthless wonder…
Eve makes her way down the ramp, high-fiving fans and playing to the crowd. She finally enters the ring as her music comes to a stop. Then, “Glamazon” hits as the crowd starts to boo. Beth Phoenix steps out onto the stage and smiles at the crowds booing as she makes her way to the ring.
Tony Chimel: And her opponent, making her way to the ring, ‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix!
Jim Ross: And there is ‘The Glamazon’, and you know she’s ready for this match.
Todd Grisham: Obviously, JR. I spoke with her earlier today and she said that having to face Eve tonight makes her laugh.
Phoenix makes her way up the steel steps, onto the apron, and onto the turnbuckle before doing her ‘Glamazon’ taunt. She enters the ring and stares at Eve with an obnoxious grin on her face.
Match 2: Singles
Eve Torres Vs Beth Phoenix
Phoenix went on the attack early on by demolishing Eve every time she was on her feet. She finally picked up the win easily after nailing Eve with her finisher. Winner: Beth Phoenix
Tony Chimel: The winner of the match, ‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix!
“Glamazon” hits as Phoenix gets to her feet while the referee helps Eve out of the ring. ‘The Glamazon’ climbs onto the second turnbuckle and taunts.
Jim Ross: And there’s a decisive victory for ‘The Glamazon’—
Todd Grisham: What are you talking about, JR? That wasn’t a decisive victory. Beth Phoenix just destroyed Eve.
‘The Glamazon’ orders for a microphone, to which she receives one, as her music fades away.
Beth Phoenix: If our General Manager thinks that’s the best I can do then he’s either stupid or ignorant. I came to SmackDown for one thing and one thing only … to become the Women’s Champion again. And last week, I made my statement, not in words, but by destroying the useless Women’s Champion.
The crowd boos Phoenix as she just smirks.
Beth Phoenix: It makes me utterly sick to my stomach to know that Melina is the Women’s Champion. Two weeks ago in the Divas Battle Royal, I was inches away from winning! I would have been the one to face Michelle McCool last week, beat her, and become the Women’s Champion! I was robbed of that opportunity by that little selfish Hollywood wannabe. So Melina, I know you’re listening to every word I say. Know this, ‘champ’ … I will take the Women’s Cha—
”Paparazzi” hits, interrupting ‘The Glamazon’, as the Women’s Champion steps out onto the stage, without the paparazzi photographers or red carpet.
Jim Ross: Business is about to pick up, folks! The Women’s Champion has heard enough from ‘The Glamazon’ for one night!
Melina makes her way down the ramp, keeping her eyes set on ‘The Glamazon’. She enters the ring and receives a microphone. Both women circle the ring as Melina begins to speak…
Melina: You’ll take the Women’s Championship, huh Beth? Y’know what, you would like for that to happen … but there is one thing standing in your way … and that’s me.
The crowd pops for Melina.
Melina: I take pride in being the new Women’s Champion, and this belt isn’t going anywhere, Beth. First off though, don’t lie to these people. The reason you were sent to SmackDown is because you were useless there as you are here.
The crowd pops for Melina again as Phoenix starts balling up her fists in anger.
Melina: You want to hit me, Beth? Do it. We’re face to face. When you say you made a ‘statement’, it doesn’t count when you attack someone from behind. That’s a cheaters way to do things.
Melina: Y’know what Beth … I’m already tired of seeing you around here so I accept! It’ll be one on one … this Sunday … at Bragging Rights!
The crowd pops for this somewhat announced match.
Melina: And if you think you’re going to walk out of that match the Women’s Champion, you’ve got another thing coming…
Melina smirks before exiting the ring as her music hits while Phoenix stands in the ring.
Jim Ross: Whatta match for Bragging Rights! Melina versus Beth Phoenix, one on one!
Todd Grisham: It’s sure to be a great match, JR, but I see ‘The Glamazon’ sticking by her words and becoming the Women’s Champion…
Melina continues to make her way to the back but stops suddenly and turns around as her music fades away. She walks back down towards the ring.
Jim Ross: Wait, what? Why is Melina going back to the ring?
Melina enters the ring and stands across from Phoenix.
Melina: Oh, one more thing…
Suddenly, Melina hits the Primal Scream to Phoenix~! The crowd roars with excitement as Melina gets to her feet and taunts with the Women’s Championship!
Jim Ross: Melina has just made this rivalry between herself and Beth Phoenix a lot more intense, bah gawd!
Todd Grisham: Melina may have the upper hand right now, JR, but Phoenix will get her revenge…
Melina exits the ring as her music begins to play once again while she heads up the ramp, smiling and playing along to the crowd. Phoenix lifts her head up off the mat and stares at Melina, with a look of pure and utter rage on her face. Melina stands at the top of the ramp, holds her Women’s Championship above her head, and smiles down towards Beth Phoenix as SmackDown fades away to a commercial break.

We return to SmackDown with a video package.
***
We see clips of various moments throughout Dolph Ziggler’s career thus far as a narrator speaks up.
Narrator: He has proven time and time again that he is the best on SmackDown…
A clip of Ziggler and Morrison standing face-to-face is shown.
Narrator: He has showed everyone what ‘perfection’ really is…
We see a clip of Ziggler making his entrance…
Suddenly, the screen goes blank for a moment, before a countdown begins…
5…
4…

The screen goes to three men rather than the video for Dolph Ziggler. The first man begins to speak…
First Man:[Mocking Dolph Ziggler] Hi, I’m Caylen Croft.
Caylen Croft laughs as the second man speaks…
[b]Second Man: I’m Trent Beretta.
Caylen Croft and Trent Beretta laugh as the third man, who looks so familiar, begins to speak…
[b]Third Man: And you already know it, I’m ‘The Party Starter’ Curt Hawkins.
All Three: And we are…
Caylen Croft: The…
Trent Beretta: Dude…
Curt Hawkins: Busters…
Croft, Beretta, and Hawkins disappear from the screen as the words, “THE DUDEBUSTERS | COMING TO SMACKDOWN SOON” appears. We cut away, and we’re back on the original video as the narrator speaks…
Narrator: Dolph Ziggler … is returning to SmackDown … NEXT WEEK. ***
The video package ends as we cut backstage to CM Punk’s locker room. ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ is pacing around the room, talking on his phone to someone, as the crowd in the arena starts to boo.
CM Punk:[To the person on the other line] Yeah, definitely. I was talking about that just the other day. Wait—hello? You’re breaking up. Hello? Umm, hello?
Punk sets his phone down and has a rather strange look on his face. The camera, unlike Punk, looks at a nearby mirror, and spots The Undertaker~!! The crowd inside of the arena pops! Punk looks over at the mirror very quickly, but nothings there. Punk smirks before exiting the locker room.
We cut back to the inside of the arena as CRYME TYME throws t-shirts to the crowd from the ring as their music fades away.
Jim Ross: There’s Cryme Tyme, ladies and gentlemen, and lemme tell ya’, they’re ready for some action!
Todd Grisham: Of course, JR, Cryme Tyme are always ready for action … like stealing peoples wallets.
“Hitman (Remix)” hits as the team of David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd, alongside Natalya, step out onto the stage.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen the following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, in the ring, Cryme Tyme! And their opponents, making their way to the ring, The Hart Dynasty!
Todd Grisham: Now these are what I call true talented superstars, JR. David Hart Smith, son of the late great Davey Boy Smith and a graduate of Stu Hart’s infamous Dungeon. Tyson Kidd, a graduate as well but he’s the last one. Natalya is the only female to graduate from it and she’s the daughter of Jim Neidhart.
Jim Ross: They are talented indeed, Todd, and they’ll be sure to show great effort.
The Hart Dynasty make their way down the ramp, keeping their eyes on Cryme Tyme, before reaching the bottom of the ramp. They make their way into the ring for the match.
Match 3: Tag Team
Cryme Tyme Vs The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya)
JTG started off the match with the upper hand until Kidd tagged in Smith. The Hart Dynasty continuously tagged in one another and continued to tire out JTG, having no way whatsoever of tagging in Shad. JTG finally made the tag to Shad after dropkicking Kidd. Shad cleaned house until Smith hit him with a powerbomb, with Kidd picking up the win. Winners: The Hart Dynasty
“Hitman (Remix)” hits as Natalya enters the ring and congratulates Smith and Kidd.
Tony Chimel: The winners of the match, The Hart Dynasty!
Jim Ross: A great effort by Cryme Tyme but The Hart Dynasty was too much tonight.
Todd Grisham: Cryme Tyme put up a fight, to their standards, but as you said, JR, The Hart Dynasty reigned supreme.
The Hart Dynasty taunt in the center of the ring before Natalya hands Kidd and Smith microphones.
Tyson Kidd: Cut the music!
The Hart Dynasty’s theme fades away as the fans anticipate for whatever The Hart Dynasty has to say…
Tyson Kidd: We are sick and tired of being misused around here!
The crowd begins booing Kidd.
David Hart Smith: Tyson’s right! We are sick and tired of beating low-life idiots like Cryme Tyme! We deserve better!
Tyson Kidd: So Teddy or Vince or whoever the hell is running the show tonight, listen up! After this whole Team RAW and Team SmackDown crap ends, we want a shot at the Unified Tag Team Titles!
The crowd begins chanting “Kidd Sucks”, to The Hart Dynasty’s dismay.
David Hart Smith: We deserve a shot at the Unified Tag Team Championships because we are the next generation of the best performers in the WWE! We didn’t go through hell at the Dungeon just to get booed by you idiots and to get stuck in matches with Cryme Tyme!
Tyson Kidd: And take this as our one and final warning or we will take matters into our own hands!
“Hitman (Remix)” hits once again as The Hart Dynasty throw their mics to the mat before exiting the ring. They begin making their way up the ramp as ‘Good Ol’ JR’s’ speaks up…
Jim Ross: One and final warning? What in the world could that mean?
Todd Grisham: Its simple, JR. They just said they’ll take matters into their own hands and I don’t think they’ll stop at anything.
The Hart Dynasty continue to make their way up the ramp as SmackDown fades away to a commercial break.
{Commercial Break}
“Written In My Face” hits as SmackDown returns from the commercial break. Finally, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus step out onto the stage and begin making their way down to the ring.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making their way to the ring, the team of Drew McIntyre and ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus!
Jim Ross: And here comes two of WWE’s newest superstars, folks. Sheamus is a true warrior. He’s 6’6”, 280 pounds; he’s trained to be a WWE Superstar for almost six years now, and during his time on the ECW brand he ran through everybody who got in his way.
Todd Grisham: Don’t forget Drew McIntyre, JR. That kid was signed to a contract personally by Mr. McMahon. Mr. McMahon considers him the future of this business and y’know what, he actually does remind me of him a little bit.
McIntyre and Sheamus reach the bottom of the ramp before entering the ring as Sheamus’ music dies down. Right afterwards, “What’s Up?” hits as R-Truth comes out through the crowd, with a microphone in hand, singing the lyrics to his song while making his way to the ring.
Tony Chimel: And their opponents, introducing first, making his way to the ring, R-Truth!
Jim Ross: And here comes R-Truth. That man is charismatic, I can tell you that.
Todd Grisham: Charisma doesn’t matter when you’re face-to-face with a guy like Drew McIntyre or a monster like Sheamus, and R-Truth is going to find that out the hard way…
R-Truth jumps over the fan barricade and stands at ringside, staring straight at McIntyre, as “He’s Ma Da” hits. Finlay walks out onto the stage to a good pop from the crowd as he makes his way down the ramp.
Jim Ross: R-Truth might not find out anything the hard way with a partner like that, Todd. You can’t find any tougher than that man right there, ‘The Tough Nosed Irishman’.
Todd Grisham: I’ll admit that Finlay is tough, JR, but not as tough as Sheamus and Drew McIntyre combined. And I see ‘The Tough Nosed Irishman’ losing tonight…
Finlay reaches the bottom of the ramp, throws a toy shillelagh into the crowd, and enters the ring with R-Truth. Finlay spots Sheamus and smiles at him, with Sheamus just looking on in disgust before getting onto the outside of the ring apron, awaiting for the start of the match.
Match 4: Tag Team
Drew McIntyre and Sheamus Vs R-Truth and Finlay
McIntyre and R-Truth battled one another for about the first two minutes of the match with both men having the upper hand throughout. R-Truth began to get the advantage until McIntyre tagged in Sheamus. Sheamus put up a good fight against R-Truth, isolating him from Finlay, before gaining the pin after an FRH. Winners: Sheamus and Drew McIntyre
“Written In My Face” hits as Drew McIntyre helps ‘The Celtic Warrior’ to his feet before they begin to celebrate while Tony Chimel announces them as the victors. McIntyre exits the ring and begins heading up the ramp as Sheamus continues to taunt. As he begins to exit the ring Finlay enters the ring and extends his hand out to Sheamus just like last week. Sheamus stares at Finlay for a few seconds … before exiting the ring, as Finlay stares on in confusion. Sheamus makes his way up the ramp as we cut to a commercial break.
{Commercial Break}
We return to SmackDown with a RAW Rebound, brought to you by Burger King.
***
DX start to do the routine but are cut off, when a voice comes over the titontron. It’s Chris Jericho and the rest of Team Smackdown. They are in the parking lot and Jericho says that if RAW has any guts they’ll come here and face them. DX drops the mics and lead the troops to battle. The camera follows RAW to the parking lot and the two teams go face to face. Suddenly, they begin fighting. Unfortunately, Michael Cole informs us that we have to cut away. But we’ll have more on the situation later.
Later that night, MVP and Kofi Kingston are fighting in a corridor with Rey Mysterio and Kane. Kane and Mysterio seem to be winning the fight until MVP picks up a steel pipe and smacks it off Kane’s back. However that just enrages Kane as he grabs MVP and throws him against a wall. He walks over to Kofi who is brawling with Rey Rey, Kane grabs Kofi by the hair and turns him around. He does the same to Kofi as what he did to MVP.
And later on in the night, Shawn Michaels and Triple H are backstage, fighting with The Big Show and Batista. They brawl in the parking lot for a bit. Triple H and Shawn know they need to stick together as the team of Big Show and Batista are too strong. However, they get separated when Big Show and Shawn break away. Big Show goes for a chokeslam on the concrete but Shawn counters into a superkick. Back with Triple H and Batista, the two are fighting next to a car when Batista rams Triple H’s skull off the hood. Batista climbs up onto the car and pulls Trips up with him. Batista looks to be going for a Batista Bomb on the hood but Shawn comes out of nowhere and helps his buddie. Shawn and Triple H double team Batista but then Show comes back into the frey and helps Batista. Big Show knocks Michaels out with one punch before turning his attention to Triple H. He grabs HHH and smashes him against the side of the car. Show picks Triple H up and puts him on top of the car, Batista goes with and picks Trips up and hits a Batista Bomb on the hood. ***
The RAW Rebound comes to a conclusion as “Crank The Walls Down” blasts through the PA system. The crowd boos as the Unified Tag Team Champions step out onto the stage before heading down the ramp, with Jericho continuously grinning evilly.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you, the Unified Tag Team Champions, Chris Jericho and the Big Show!
The champ’s continue to stroll down the aisle before reaching ringside. They slowly enter the ring and taunt. The crowd boos as Jericho smirks while still taunting in the center of the ring.
Chris Jericho: …Although I would usually oppose it, I hope you parasites caught RAW this past Monday night. As I promised, Team SmackDown once again prevailed, and on Team RAW’s turf no less, thanks to my leadership and my intelligence.
The crowd boos the egomaniac that is Chris Jericho, which just leads him to smirk even more.
Chris Jericho: While the hypocrites and degenerates that make Team RAW what it is were playing around to amuse you people, I have been mentoring Team SmackDown. I have shown them the ways of true living. And I have lead them to success.
Once again, the crowd boos.
Chris Jericho: And this proves to everyone without a doubt, no matter how you look at it, that Team SmackDown, and this brand, is the most superior force within the WWE … thanks to yours truly.
You guessed it, more booing towards the obnoxious Team SmackDown co-captain.
Chris Jericho: And this Sunday at Bragging Rights, Team SmackDown, under my leadership, will reign supreme. And after its all said and done, Team SmackDown will ultimately—
???: Lose.
The Unified Tag Team Champions look over at the titantron and see DX backstage~! The crowd pops huge! We cut backstage to DX’s location. They’re in a corridor backstage.
Triple H: Yadda yadda, parasite this, hypocrite that … we’ve heard enough from you, Chris. I mean, c’mon, did you think we were gonna no-show Smack—
We cut back to the ring as Chris Jericho interrupts Triple H.
Chris Jericho: Shut up! This is my show, you hear me, you hypocrite!? Nobody disrespects me because I built this show up to what it is today! I am the best in the world at what I do! So y’know something DX, get out here! We’re calling you out, you degenerates!
We cut backstage to DX again. Michaels is mockingly over-reacting, babbling and crying.
Shawn Michaels: Oh what are we gonna do, Hunter!? Jericho is calling us out! Oh my, I’m terrified! What are we going to do!? I have two kids at home I can’t just go out there—
Triple H grabs Shawn’s shoulder and he stops the mockery over-reaction.
Triple H: Shawn, we’ll be okay. I mean, it’s just Jericho and the Big Show. One of ‘em is an obnoxious snobby little brat in a suit. And well, the other is just a 7 foot tall giant, that we shoved up Vince’s ass a few years ago.
DX begin laughing as we cut away to Jericho and Big Show; who don’t seem happy whatsoever. We cut back to DX once again.
Triple H: In all seriousness, Chris, you ‘called us out’ … so we’re ‘coming out’.
Shawn Michaels: And if you’re not down with that, we’ve got two words for ya’!
The crowd chants “SUCK IT” as the camera cuts back to the ring as the titantron goes blank. Jericho and Big Show begin circling the ring when “Break It Down” blasts through the speakers in the arena as the crowd goes berserk! Finally, in full-DX gear, the duo of ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ and ‘The Game’ step out onto the stage and make their way down towards the ring, playing to the crowd the entire time. DX make their way into the ring and begin trading blows with Jericho and Big Show as their music dies down.
The two teams continue to trade blows to one another. Michaels speeds off towards the ropes, comes back towards Jericho, and connects with a Flying Forearm Smash, which forces Jericho over the top rope and onto the floor to the crowds delight! DX go for an attack on the solo Big Show but REY MYSTERIO, KANE, and BATISTA run out from the backstage area and attack DX! Kane and Batista stomp down on Triple H while Mysterio throws punches at Michaels.
Jericho re-enters the ring and aids Big Show to his feet before staring on at Team SmackDown’s assault onto DX. Kane lifts ‘The Game’ to his feet and nails him with a Chokeslam! ‘The Animal’ stares at Kane and lifts Michaels up and prepares for a Batista Bomb but Jericho intervenes before ordering for a mic, which he receives.
[b]Chris Jericho: What’s DX gonna do now, huh!? You degenerates thought all of Team SmackDown wasn’t going to be here, didn’t ya’!?
Jericho throws the mic down and begins kicking Michaels’ repeatedly before lifting him up and throwing him out of the ring. Jericho, along with the rest of Team SmackDown, exit the ring. Jericho pulls Michaels’ by his hair over to the announcers table as Batista throws everything off of it while JR and Grisham get away.
Jericho slams Michaels’ head onto the table, which causes him to fall to the arena floor. Jericho re-enters the ring and grabs the mic.
Chris Jericho: What are you going to do now, huh Shawn!? Team SmackDown always prevails! ‘Show, throw him through the table!
The crowd begin to boo extremely loud as Big Show lifts Michaels’ up, as Jericho looks on with a grin across his face. Big Show begins to throw HBK through the table but MVP, KOFI KINGSTON, and JACK SWAGGER jump over the fan barricade and attack the Team SmackDown members, all except Jericho who is in the ring. Kingston throws Mysterio into the ring post while MVP and Swagger brawl with Batista and Big Show! Kane spots Michaels near the table recovering and starts to go towards him but gets hit with SWEET CHIN MUSIC~!! The camera focuses on Jericho looking on, and TRIPLE H is BEHIND HIM! Jericho begins turning around and gets nailed with a PEDIGREE~!!
Kingston continues to keep his attack going on Mysterio as MVP and Swagger brawl with Big Show, as Kane and Batista are nowhere to be found. ‘The Game’ lifts Jericho up and throws him to the outside near the announce table. He quickly sets him onto the announce table as Michaels enters the ring and climbs up onto the turnbuckle! Michaels performs a crotch-chop and then dives straight onto Jericho, nailing him with a nasty ELBOW DROP~!!
Kingston, MVP, Swagger, and Triple H aid Michaels to his feet before getting into the ring and taunting, all except Swagger, who just stands there like he usually does. “Break It Down” hits as Team RAW celebrate in the ring while medics run down to the ringside area to help Jericho. The medics, along with Big Show, set Jericho onto a stretcher before heading towards the backstage area. Team SmackDown, excluding Jericho, stand at the bottom of the ramp and stare at Team RAW as they taunt and wave goodbye to them as SmackDown cuts to another commercial break.
{Commercial Break}
We return from the break and the camera focuses on the demolished announce table before we see JR and Grisham sitting back down in their chairs, although their table isn’t standing anymore.
Jim Ross: Well folks, you just saw what Team RAW demolished. And lemme tell ya’, that rivalry has just gotten a lot more intense. That was just an all-out brawl.
Todd Grisham: Definitely, JR. Team RAW got the upper hand tonight but they won’t be laughing this Sunday.
We cut to the entranceway as “Just Close Your Eyes (Remix)” blares out through the speakers. The crowd jumps to their feet and erupt for ‘Captain Charisma’ as he heads out onto the stage before doing the ‘Peep’ taunt. He makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring before throwing up the ‘Peep’ taunt again as he climbs to the middle turnbuckle. A ringside staff person hands him a microphone as his music dies down.
Christian: Phoenix! This is Peep Country!
The crowd pops for Christian’s remark.
Christian: Now I’m getting down to business, I’m not gonna play around. I saw a certain donkey snooping around backstage today so I’m calling him out because he costed me the Intercontinental Championship.
The crowd pops again.
Christian: C’mon Miz, get your ass down here and face me like a man.
“No Reality” hits as The Miz steps out onto the stage, with the United States Championship lying against his shoulder, as the crowd boos. The United States Champion makes his way down the ramp, staring at Christian with an obnoxious little grin on his face. Miz enters the ring and stands across from Christian.
The Miz: Really, Christian?
Christian: Ye—
The Miz: Really!?
Christian stares at The Miz intently as the crowd chants “Miz Sucks”.
The Miz: Wow…somebody is acting tough and calling me out. Oh, I’m so scared. What are you gonna do? Throw the peep sign at me? Christian, you’re a loser just like John and just like this brand. John is an undeserving excuse for an Intercontinental Champion, SmackDown can’t even stop Shawn Michaels from putting somebody through a table for crying out loud, and you … well … you’re just one of the people who got ECW cancelled.
The crowd boos as ‘Captain Charisma’ stares on; he doesn’t look all too happy.
The Miz: Aw, is little ‘Captain Charisma’ angry? Y’know what Christian, I’m not facing you tonight because firstly I have a match in two days, in which I will win. Secondly, this brand sucks. And thirdly, you’re not worth my time ‘cause I’M THE MIZ … … AND I’M … AWESO—
Christian hits the United States Champion with his mic and begins throwing punches at him repeatedly as the crowd pops! A referee runs down to the ring and calls for the bell!
Match 5: Singles
Christian Vs The Miz
Rather quick match as Christian continues his attack on The Miz for the first minute or so. Miz gains the upper hand by hitting a low blow to Christian, which the referee never saw. Miz begins to work on Christian’s leg around the 4-minute mark, and continuously cheating while the referee is somehow distracted. Miz “accidentally” knocks the referee out and gets a steel chair but John Morrison runs to the ring, hits Miz with the chair, and Christian picks up the win with the Killswitch! Winner: Christian
“Just Close Your Eyes (Remix)” hits as Morrison helps ‘Captain Charisma’ out of the ring as Tony Chimel announces him the victor.
Jim Ross: Although that was interference on Christian’s behalf, I’d say so myself that what we just saw was ‘rightfully awarded’ to The Miz, folks…
Christian and Morrison taunt as The Miz gets to his feet and begins throwing a fit in the ring! ‘The Shaman of Sexy’ and ‘Captain Charisma’ begin heading up the ramp as The Miz continues to go berserk.
Suddenly, we cut backstage to a hallway. ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ is shown, walking down the corridor.
Jim Ross: Coming up next folks, CM Punk will speak! You don’t wanna miss it!
Punk continues to walk but stops dead in his tracks … his eyes are literally bulging out of their sockets as he stares on at something out of the cameras view. The camera backs away slowly and turns to see a HEARSE parked. Punk continues to stare at it before slowly walking away and down the corridor as we cut away to a commercial.
{Commercial Break}
We return from the commercial break as “This Fire Burns” is already playing through the PA system. We cut to the ring and spot CM Punk in the center of it as his music silences.
CM Punk: Y’know what, I know that The Undertaker is trying to play mind games to get into my head and scare me, but unlike all of you drug and alcohol abusing morons, I don’t fall for ‘em. Lights flicker on and off, my phone call ends and I think someone is watching me, and the hearse. It’d scare an average Joe but I’m not that average Joe. I know that it’s a figurative of the imagination. It’s simply what The Undertaker wants me to fall for, which isn’t going to happen. Unlike all of you, I don’t believe in mind games. And I don’t believe in it because my mind isn’t poisoned by The Undertaker. Y’see, I’ll explain it for those of you that don’t understand. The Undertaker, and his ‘mind games’ so to speak, is one of the most harmful drugs out there. And knowing you people, you thrive for that drug.
The crowd boos Punk but he just ignores it.
CM Punk: …You people thrive for that harmful drug. It takes over your life, your mind, your well-being. Once you let that harmful drug take over, you’re poisoned. And unlike you people, i throw that drug in the trash, keep my mind clean and just – say – no.
The crowd boos Punk once again.
CM Punk: So ‘Taker, I know you’re listening to me. Lemme just make one thing clear. I am not intimidated by you. I do not believe in your ‘mind games’. And in two nights, these people will see clearly for the first time in years. They will know that I was the martyr … they will know that I am right … and they’ll know that you’re nothing without your control over their mi—
The lights in the arena cut off as the titantron begins to play a video. The Undertaker is shown in a dark graveyard. He has a shovel and is digging a grave. He stops suddenly and moves over. We see a tombstone that says,
CM PUNK
10/26/78 – 10/25/09
The video ends and the lights in the arena come back on. The crowd lets out a huge pop as the hearse from earlier is sitting at ringside, straight ahead of Punk! Punk stares at it intently when suddenly a lightning bolt STRIKES THE RING~!! Suddenly, the ring COLLAPSES TO THE ARENA FLOOR~!! The crowd goes wild as Punk tries to get back to his feet, his eyes literally bulging out, he looks terrified.
…And it’s not over yet as another lightning bolt strikes the ring, which SETS IT ON FIRE~!!! The fire surrounds ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ as he begins yelling for help at the top of his lungs as SmackDown fades away…

Nice to see the recap so new readers like me understand what your main storyline on the brand is, and so I know somewhat to expect. Liking Punk's sarcasm, showing how he doesn't take Undertaker seriously. Frankly, we have seen Taker versus Punk before, so it's not exactly draw-dropping stuff, but I think WWE dropped the ball a little on it, and I hope you do it a bit differently to the way they did. A believable little start to the show, and looking forward to see where you go from here.
Todd Grisham saying 'off the charts?' I can't quite believe that one. Not his style tbh.
I was expecting an opening promo here, but I guess that was in your backstage segment. There was quite a bit of commentary here, and none of it really included why these two were having a match, or what they both had been doing in the past few weeks, which would have been helpful here. In fact, having looked back in the thread, these two are involved in no real feuds whatsoever, so I assume you're going to have Burchill attack Hardy and get a feud kicking off, which would be nice. The match was a joke, I'm sorry, man. You wrote more on commentary than you did of the match! Talking constructively, there was a massive lack of description here. It needed lengthening, no doubt about it, cause as a reader, I hadn't got a clue as to what really happened in this match, it was painfully short for something that, even in recap, should never have been this brief. More description was necessary, so we can get a feel for what the match was like in terms of psychology and emotion between the two guys. 'Katie Lea distracted him for a moment, for her brother to gain the advantage and get the win.' Firstly, this sentence didn't make sense. 'Allowing' would have worked instead of 'for', for instance. Also, come on, man. Get the win? You didn't even tell us how he did it! Pinfall? Submission? Roll Up? Finisher? Which finisher? Dangerous Buster? Curb Stomp? Writing like this makes you seem very lazy and makes me think you just can't be bothered. You only need to go to Burchill's Wikipedia page to see what the names of his finishers are. Simple, really. No attack after the match? I know this isn't constructive reviewing with the silly rhetorical questions, I'm sorry for that, I'll stop, but I was genuinely expecting you to take this somewhere, and frankly, I was massively surprised. Rather than just booking a random match, make them do something. Make them have an interesting feud - if this was on TV, people wouldn't tune in to watch Hardy vs Burchill for the sake of it (well, some might), but certainly, more would tune in to see a match between them after weeks of Burchill attacking Hardy, or Hardy falling in love with Katie Lea, and Burchill wanting him to stay away. You just need to employ a feud or two, make it all more lively.
Beth squashing Eve is fine by me, gets her over a bit more. Still, the match writing was terrible. Not trying to be harsh, but you literally had one line of description! And again, in the recap package at the start of the segment, you showed you knew that Beth's finisher is the Glam Slam, so why didn't you type that in the match? Anyway, to the promo after the match, which was good, though I was surprised that you decided to give such a lengthy segment to a divas' confrontation. I thought Melina sounded a bit too much like a heel in places, so you might want to watch that - just read through your promos to check that the message you want to get across is doing so. Again, Melina going back and hitting the Primal Scream is weird, cause that's something a heel would do tbh. A bit odd.
Your formatting was a bit dodgy here, you had a lot of [b]'s littered about the place, so you might just want to check the effect you want is happening in the show. Anyway, I don't know a ton about the Dudebusters, but I assume they're faces, because they were mocking Ziggler, who, by the way, I hope you book him in to make an impact, cause he's talented, clearly.
The nice series of little promos you're obviously going for with Punk works well here, though I notice you haven't got a Main Event scheduled yet, and you're obviously going to have Punk talking be the main thing on the show. Keeping up the supernatural stuff is fine.
By having Cryme Tyme in the ring already as the camera cuts, and the inevitable loss that followed, you've really kind of buried them, which I hate, because they're one of the only tag teams on your roster, so why take away the credibility of one of the few you have? I wouldn't have had Cryme Tyme win either, seeing as you've obviously got big plans for Hart Dynasty, but at least they could have made more of a contest of it... maybe they did, but the shortness of your matches means I don't know whether that happened or not. I just have very little idea of what's going on, and as a reader, that turns me off. Frustrating. Jeez, the promo following the match made Cryme Tyme seem like total jobbers. The Hart Dynasty wouldn't be 'in dismay' at the crowd's reaction. They're heels, and heels don't care what the crowd think of them, they only care about success for themselves. Interesting as to what they plan to do, should they not get the title shot. My prediction is: attack everything that moves.
I hope you realise you write more in your build-up to the matches than the matches themselves, it's really annoying how little you write for each match, I can't get a feel for them at all. This match doesn't exactly stimulate the senses, but maybe with this one you might kick an actual feud off. The finish sounded pretty boring, tbh. What's an FRH? Is that the Bicycle Kick or the Crucifix Powerbomb or something? Actually, I just looked it up... it's pretty nasty. I like the thinking behind him using that, I just quite like his other two. Finlay's not the only one who's confused - why is Finlay offering Sheamus his hand anyway? One's face, the other's heel. Doesn't make sense to me. Sheamus should have just booted Finlay's lights out, so we can get this damn feud started already. Why wait?
Jericho was written very effectively. You have his character down to a tee for sure. With the DX bit, it was pretty ironic that Jericho would call them degenerates. Anyway, I expected Team SmackDown to arrive, and also for Team Raw to join the fray. Excellent hype for Bragging Rights with this promo, and I look forward to the event. Very nice.
A decent promo. Christian was much better than Miz, who seemed a bit off to me. His 'this brand sucks' and inevitable 'awesome' catchphrase were realistic, though. I won't go into the length of the match, you know how I feel. Considering that Morrison faces Miz in two days, some nice hype for the event by costing Miz the match, though I still feel a ref bump could have been saved for Sunday, and let Miz save credibility.
A typical Punk promo, which I might have suggested splitting up a little in that first paragraph, but nonetheless excellent characterisation from Punk. Terrific mind games from Taker, dead on the money with the kind of thing he'd do. Not much more to say here, an excellent way to scare the crap out of Punk heading into Bragging Rights.
All in all, an acceptable show which had its moments. I'm looking forward very much to what is sure to be an immense Bragging Rights, if written correctly by you and Calum. Your match writing was dreadfully short, and made me want to tear my hair out in places, but I thought the majority of your promos were excellent reads with, mostly, great characterisation. I hope this feedback is helpful, man, and I hope it can only help you improve, cause you have a knack for this, it just needs fine-tuning in places, I think. In places your spelling and grammar was a tad dodgy, but I have seen plenty worse, though I would just watch your formatting codes, cause they look really messy if you leave them lying around. Overall, a solid show, I hope you guys can blow me away with Bragging Rights, 7/10.
P.S Having you told me that the short matches were just a temporary thing, I apologise muchly for having gone on about it so much. Anyway, keep it up.
Replay! I like when replays open up the show as it lets everyone know what is up with the thread happenings and whatnot. Good move. And nice tease with Punk not being intimidated with Taker's "smoke and mirrors".
Starting the show with a match is never a bad thing. And it's Matt Hardy! That very much owns. And I dug JR pointing out him being a veteran and how he signed him, very nice history from ya. The matches are what they are, which isn't always a bad thing so I will just comment on the booking. Burchill going over... Even if it was by cheating and hopefully MH bounces back soon.
Todd spoke with his best friend Beth Phoenix earlier today...: Nothing on you, I just always laugh when someone in WWE says that. Anyway, Beth winning in a squash is fine. The promo afterward was good too, dug the "sick to my stomach" line by BP, could totally imagine that, Melina was a little bleh though. Wait, she comes back~! But you can't just hit the primal scream outta nowhere. It's a small thing but a kick or some setup is needed for a move like that to happen.
THE DUDEBUSTERS! AND ALL THREE OF THEM! SUPER EPIC~! I love that trio, and nice promo with Dolph video package turned into a joke as the three are challenging Ziggler apparently? A little odd choice to kick off a feud between those guys. Dolph could actually join the DBs if you play it that way. Good job.
Huh? More Punl teases. It's good that you're building the feud up though. Huh.
THD winning was the right move for this. And now another aftermatch promo. Interesting...Well, if you were looking to bury Cryme Tyme, congratulations. You did it. But one and final warning? Where is this situation going? Nice job with this promo, except with the crowd yelling at just Kidd instead of the entire Hart Dynasty.
The right dudes won here, and the right dude lost as well, if you're looking to start a conflict between Sheamus and Finlay.
RAW REBOUND~! RATINGS imo.
Nice promo and angle between DX and Jeri-Show, Everybody was in-character and things flowed pretty nicely. And then all hell breaks loose as the teams run to the ring and over the barricade! And then Raw gets the "win" here, which is smart since that leads to mystery of who's gonna win come BR. "Kingston, MVP, Swagger, and Triple H aid Michaels to his feet before getting into the ring and taunting, all except Swagger, who just stands there like he usually does." Hey!
"Costed me the title" BOTCH. Don't worry, it was just one mistake so no worries. Kinda lame calling Miz a donkey. But I guess that is PG for ya. :/ Miz was really in character, and you did a good job with him, better than anyone tonight i'd say.
And Christian wins which was a great thing, although JoMo hitting Miz with the chair randomly was a little weird. You kind of miss the little details in things i'm noticing. Just adding a part about kicking someone in the gut before hitting a big move or taking the chair from Miz, just makes things flow better. But it's no big deal, just something i'm noticing.
CM Punk, oh God...
Punk is in character, calling everybody drug abusers and everything else, as usual. And then he gets owned by Taker. Awesome angle to close the show! We have seen the lightning before but the bolt that set the ring on fire was a nice touch and made it feel fresh. You could have at least sent out some help for Punk though instead of just going off the air with him about to get burnded up. >_>
Overall...It was a good show, you have talent for the writing and stuff, and I didn't mind the short matches (probably in the minority) as i've always felt you should write to your strenghts, while still working to improve on your weaknesses, plus i'm looking forward to see what you and Calum do for the PPV. You had some good angles on the show to sell the PPV and we'll see what happens at the Bragging Rights show. Just noticed the mystery partner part of the BR tag match.Very interesting. Just try and stick with this thread cause I would like to see you go on with it a long time. I'll throw you some predictions when you set the preview up and hopefully review the show.

2009 has certainly seemed to be the year of Randy Orton, he has won the Royal Rumble, took out nearly all of the McMahon family before finally winning the WWE Championship from Triple H at Backlash. Now, he has to defend his WWE Championship again, against John Cena. These two men faced off at Summerslam, Breaking Point and Hell in a Cell, Randy Orton managed to retain his title at Summerslam, but lost at Breaking Point, before regaining the belt at Hell in a Cell.
This match will be the final match between the two for the WWE Championship, at least for awhile, as both men have stated whoever wins will not get another shot. The weeks leading up to Bragging Rights, Randy Orton and John Cena’s rivalry was interrupted as Ted DiBiase got involved, attacking Cena at every chance. On the final RAW before Bragging Rights, Ted DiBiase and Randy Orton faced off against John Cena and a returning Ken Kennedy. Cena got the win in that match, meaning he has the momentum going into Bragging Rights.
Who will leave the WWE Champion?
World Heavyweight Championship Match
The Undertaker (c) Vs CM Punk
On the SmackDown after Summerslam, CM Punk kept his promise and ridded Jeff Hardy from the WWE Universe. Although he did rid ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ from the WWE Universe, he had another foe coming after his World Heavyweight Championship, and that man was The Undertaker, leading into Breaking Point was when this intense rivalry came to a beginning. ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ cheated his way to the victory over ‘The Phenom’.
Ever since, ‘The Phenom’ has been on a hunt to strip ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ of his gold and he did just that at Hell in a Cell. For the past four weeks ‘The Phenom’ has been playing torturous mind games with the former World Heavyweight Champion and this past Friday night on SmackDown, they have gotten to ‘The Straightedge Superstar’.
Will ‘The Demon of Death Valley’ remain at the top of the WWE Universe or will ‘The Straightedge Superstar’ reclaim ‘the prize’ he lost just four weeks ago?
Team RAW Vs Team SmackDown Elimination Tag Team Match
Team RAW (DX, MVP, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, and ???)
Vs
Team SmackDown (Chris Jericho, Big Show, Batista, Kane, Rey Mysterio, and ???)
On the October 5th edition of Monday Night RAW Guest Host Ben Roethlisberger announced the blockbuster match of a 6-on-6 RAW versus SmackDown Elimination Tag Team Match at WWE’s newest pay per view, Bragging Rights. He announced that Team RAW’s captains would be none other than Triple H and Shawn Michaels, the duo that is DX. Throughout the night, various Team RAW Qualifying Matches took place, which saw MVP, Kofi Kingston, and Jack Swagger gain spots onto Team RAW. On the SmackDown side of things, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon named Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Big Show Team SmackDown’s captains on the first SmackDown after Hell in a Cell. We witnessed a huge six man tag team match, in which Batista, Kane, and Rey Mysterio gained spots onto Team SmackDown.
Over the past two weeks we’ve seen this small rivalry turn into one of the biggest RAW versus SmackDown fiascos in history, as both teams did anything and everything to gain the upper hand on the other, from throwing the other team from their own ring to brawling in RAW’s parking lot to brawling in the SmackDown ring.
Both teams may have major surprises in store, not only is SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long’s job in jeopardy with the outcome of this blockbuster match but both teams have six members, and both teams have only confirmed five of those six. Everyone has to wonder what both teams have in store and who their mystery partner’s shall be.
This Sunday at Bragging Rights, Team RAW and Team SmackDown will finally clash toe-to-toe in the squared circle in the 6-on-6 Elimination Tag Team Match, in which one team will come out with ‘the bragging rights’.
The Miz and John Morrison used to be a part of a tag team, which dominated the tag team division for the better part of 2008. Wrestlemania 25 saw them lose a match to Carlito and Primo Colon, they lost their World Tag Team Championships and they were unified with the WWE Tag Team Championships. A few weeks after, the yearly draft took place; the draft split them up, sending Miz to RAW and Morrison to SmackDown. They hugged in the ring, but The Miz attacked Morrison and hit him with the Reality Check.
Fast forward a few months and both men have had success in the singles action, both men are Champions and both men are two of the brightest upcoming Superstars. John Morrison defeated Rey Mysterio on an episode of SmackDown to win the Intercontinental Championship, while The Miz defeated Kofi Kingston to win the United States Championship. Now, the two square off in a bid for brand supremacy and to see who the better half of the tag team was.
At Night of Champions, Maryse injured herself in a match with Mickie James. During her rehab, she watched as Mickie walked around with her Divas Championship, this spurred Maryse on in her rehab and she came back faster than expected. She came back and attacked Mickie from behind, the next week she then stated that she will regain her Championship. Which, Mickie disagreed with but gave her a rematch anyway, to shut Maryse up.
On the October 9th edition of SmackDown a Divas Battle Royal took place to determine who would face Women’s Champion Michelle McCool the next week, which saw Melina last eliminating Beth Phoenix to get the win, and the match the next week.
Once the October 16th edition of SmackDown was over, a new Women’s Champion was crowned, and it was none other than ‘The Paparazzi Diva’ herself, Melina. Her celebration didn’t last long, however, as ‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix crashed the party and blatantly attacked the new champ. On this past Friday’s edition of SmackDown, the new Women’s Champion confronted ‘The Glamazon’ and accepted her challenge to a match at Bragging Rights, before nailing her with the Primal Scream for reattribution.
This Sunday, we will see Melina and Beth Phoenix go one-on-one for the coveted prize that lies around Melina’s waist, the WWE Women’s Championship.

DiBiase to cost Orton the strap, methinks. Cena to then fued with... hm, tough one. Kennedy, possibly. I'll stick with Cena. If Orton doesn't get another chance at the gold, it'll give him a reason to further get annoyed with DiBiase, making the foundations of a super feud in the process, really heated. That way, Orton can't get back into the title scene at all, giving you the perfect opportunity to have this Orton/Ted fued which is somewhat brewing.
Too much momentum not to, Punk doesn't have the credibility on him after the Taker mind games tbh.

A genuine toughy. On paper, SD takes it, but Raw is more face-orientated, and SD took it irl. It's almost like calum132 vs JDawgWWE! I like how Raw isn't as star-studded as SD but still has talent with the up-and-comers tbh. Nice team choices from both bookers, JDawgWWE going all out, whereas calum132 is trusting the new talent a little bit more, which I really like, give the Raw midcard a bit of a chance to shine. When it comes down to it, I assume the mystery partners will play a big part, but I'll give it to the men in green to take their team to victory for the red brand.
Put simply, Mickie's held it for long enough, and Maryse as Champ would be a pleasant change of pace. Plus, you'd kind of kill her comeback if she didn't win it. Then again, maybe not, she wouldn't lose that much credibility. Still, Maryse for me.
She just won it, tbh. Hope there's some differentiating between the two Diva matches plz.
~ Extra Question ~
Which Match Will Open The Show?
Miz/Morrison.
Predict The Order Of The Matches
Done.
Which Match Will End The Show?
It's Bragging Rights, Raw vs SmackDown should be your Main Event in my opinion. All about the Brand Warfare.
Who Will The Mystery Partners Be?
I was originally heading for Jeff Hardy and Edge, but Hardy didn't leave that long ago... SmackDown is Edge, I'll have Kennedy as my Raw pick plz. That's what I think, anyway.

Team Raw should be getting the win here, imo. They've got the good guys, and what a better way to end the ppv with the good guys winning. The fans should leave here happy...wait this isn't a real show, this is BTB, lolz.
