Re: ECW: Back to the Extreme
Nero recently conducted an interview with the Grand Rapids Press. Some of the topics he talked about was that he is close to a deal to move ECW to a new channel, the hold up at the moment appears to be show time Nero is pushing for 2 hours but the network wants to give him only an hour. He said his ECW is going to be like the original but without the pool halls it will be in arenas. He mentioned that creative is high on Morrison so there may be a push in store for him.
William Regal will be out of action for 2 weeks. WWE.com reported it was because of an injured pinky but the cooler talk going around thinks it has something to do with Regal's actions towards JTG. He accidently, or was it on accident, called JTG STD. JTG and him exchanged words and got face to face before being seperated by staff and security. Nero confronted Regal to which Regal took a swing at JTG. Regal has had his pay reduced and has been told 1 more strike and he is going to be a jobber for the rest of his career.
Look for the tag team championship to be a big focus in the future for the creative team. Creative team likes having the Hardys/Edge and Christian/Jerishow/Legacy/Styles and Daniels/Cryme Tyme/ and potentially Miz/Morrison.
Nero has mentioned that he is going to copy Raw and start bringing in Guest Hosts for GMs. A certain magician is rumored to be the GM of the first show but that is pure speeculation at this point. Some of the other he has been in contact with have been Gene Simmons,Ellen Page,Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, Vin Diesel, Hue Hefner, The Muppets and the big shocking last one to be rumored is Bret Hart.
Nero has mentioned this new ECW is going to be for Mature Audiences. He said leave the other channels for the kids but the Mature adults need a show so see more blood more sex more violence.
Coming Soon JNH will be introducing his new BTB
