Smackdown
October 16, 2009
Lexington, Kentucky

WWE Signature Video is shown

A recap video from last week’s Smackdown is shown. The video starts off with all of The Revolution standing out in the ring. Edge talks about how dominant their group is now and how they’ll take out the biased General Manger Theodore Long. Jericho then says that at Cyber Sunday he and Edge will compete in the greatest match the fans have ever seen and Long can’t do anything about it. Teddy Long comes out saying he wouldn’t want to change it but that every match at Cyber Sunday has to have a stipulation, so the match will stay the same but the fans will vote between CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio as the Special Guest Referee. Jericho and Edge are pissed at this decision. We then go to later in the night where Edge and Jericho are confronted during an interview by Long. Edge and Jericho yell at Long about the decision he’s made to modify their match at Cyber Sunday and say it’s an example of his biased ways. Long gets serious and says that he’s done taking their abuse and that they need to show him some respect. Jericho shoves Long to the ground and says he needs to show them respect and that they’re not stopping until he’s out of a job and there’s nothing he can do to stop them. Edge and Jericho walk off laughing as Long for the first time has a very angry look on his face. We then see a few clips from the main event match with Jericho, Edge, & Khali against Rey, Jeff, & Punk. We cut to the end where Jericho tosses Jeff into the steel steps on the outside and Khali smashes Rey’s back into the ring post on the outside. In the ring, we see Punk lift Edge up for the GTS, but Edge rakes Punk’s eyes and delivers a Spear for the win. The last image we see is Edge, Jericho, and Khali with Ranjin standing at the top of the stage being joined by Ziggler, Shelton, Kane, and Umaga with Estrada. The entire Revolution stands there, all holding their arms up in victory.

Smackdown Opening Video is shown as “Let It Roll” by Divide The Day plays

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild!

Grisham: welcome ladies and gentlemen to Friday Night Smackdown! We’re here in Lexington, Kentucky less than two weeks away from the most interactive pay per view of the year, Cyber Sunday. And JR, what a night we’re going to have.

JR: That’s right Todd. Tonight we will find out the third and final choice for the Tag Team Championship match at Cyber Sunday when Cryme Tyme takes on Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang. And of course we’ll be joined at ringside by the Tag team Champions themselves, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.

Grisham: And that’s not all. We’re also going to find out who will be Melina’s next challenger for the Women’s Championship. It will be Michelle McCool taking on Maria in a number one contenders match tonight.

JR: And after all the controversy going on between The Revolution, Theodore Long, and the rest of Smackdown, what can we expect to happen here tonight?

“Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays. The crowd boos as Edge and Chris Jericho make their way to the ring.

Justin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the leaders of The Revolution, Chris Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge.

Grisham: And speaking of The Revolution, here come the leaders of the faction now, Chris Jericho and the World Champion Edge. Last week was a big week for the two of them.

JR: The Revolution grew stronger, they dominated all last week, and after their respective victories at No Mercy, these two will face off against each other at Cyber Sunday for the World Heavyweight Title in what they’re saying will be the “Greatest Match Ever!”

Grisham: But to their dismay, our General Manager Theodore Long told them that every match at Cyber Sunday has to have a stipulation for the fans to vote on. Long then announced that their match would feature a Special Guest Referee and the three choices would be CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio…three people who are not exactly fond of The Revolution. Well anyway, let’s hear what these two have to say.

Jericho and Edge get into the ring and grab microphone and the arena fills with boos.

Edge: Last week, all of you saw that The Revolution was not a joke. All of you saw why The Revolution is the most powerful and dominant faction to ever hit the WWE. After everyone told Chris and I that no one would ever join us in what they called a “ridiculous movement” all of those people ate their words when The Revolution more than doubled its size at No Mercy. “The Big Red Machine” Kane… “The Samoan Bulldozer” Umaga with the “Cuban Brains” of Armando Estrada… “The Perfect Future Star” in Dolph Ziggler… the Intercontinental Champion, “The Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin… All of these men I just mentioned saw our side of things. They saw how without taking a stand against the biased authority here on Smackdown, they would all be left in the dust and never taken care of. And now they have all joined our movement and there’s nothing that can stop us.

Jericho: The Revolution was on the roll of a lifetime. In one week, we added new members and took out everyone that wanted to get in our way. And as if that wasn’t enough, Edge retained the World Heavyweight Championship and I, Chris Jericho, became the number one contender. We not only took control of the locker room, but we took control of the main event. There was nothing that anyone in the back or any of you hypocrites could have done about it!

The crowd boos Jericho for that comment.

Jericho: Until…… until that biased piece of crap you call a General Manager came out here and had to ruin what would promise to be the greatest match ever at Cyber Sunday, by adding a Special Guest Referee. Oh but Teddy Long didn’t just pick anyone to be a choice… he chose the three people who have been trying to stop us from the beginning as the choices.

Edge: But Teddy Long, if you think that’s going to stop us, you’re sadly mistaken. We’re too dominant and powerful for you to do anything about us now.

Jericho: Long, you may think you hold power over us, but you don’t. We’re too powerful. Last week, I proved that when I shoved you to the ground and what did you do? NOTHING!

Edge: It’s inevitable. The Revolution is going to take over Smackdown. And there is NO ONE, including you Teddy Long, THAT CAN STOP US NOW!

“MacMilitant” plays. The crowd cheers as Theodore Long comes out at the top of the stage with a microphone.

Long: Now listen here playas. I’ve had ENOUGH of the two of you! You come out here every week and tell me and everyone else about how you’re going to take over Smackdown and that no one can stop you. But you need to realize that I’m STILL the General Manager of Smackdown! Which means that I’M IN CHARGE, NOT YOU TWO!

The crowd cheers as Edge and Jericho look unimpressed.

Long: Now I’ve sat back and taken your abuse for over a month now. You’ve threatened my job numerous times, yet I stayed fair and did nothing about it. I’ve never been biased towards you two EVER no matter what you did! But now you two have gone too far and I need to teach you a lesson before it gets any worse. Last week, you two disrespected me like never before. You yelled right in my face and then you shoved me to the ground. So because of that, I’ve decided to punish the two of you.

The crowd cheers as Edge and Jericho look displeased.

Long: Don’t worry playas. Your match at Cyber Sunday will still go on as planned. I’m doing nothing to that. What I’ve done is made special matches for the two of you as your punishment. Chris Jericho, your match will be next week on Smackdown. But Edge, your match will be tonight. So tonight, in our main event, it will be the World Heavyweight Champion Edge… verses JOHN MORRISON…

The crowd cheers for Morrison’s name.

Long: AND…THE UNDERTAKER…

The crowd cheers for Undertaker’s name.

Long: IN A TWO ON ONE HANDICAP MATCH!

The crowd fills with cheers as Edge looks furious.

Long: Good luck tonight playa! Holla!

Long walks to the back as Edge and Jericho are furious at the announcement.

JR: Wow what an announcement. Good for Theodore Long standing up to those two finally! They deserve to be punished.

Grisham: No more taking abuse for Teddy Long. And now we have our main event for tonight. It’s Edge verses the new number one contender to the Intercontinental Title, John Morrison and the “Dead Man” the Undertaker. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

We return with “It’s A New Day” by Adelitas Way playing as we see Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase sitting at the announce table.

JR: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown. We’re joined here by the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless. Thank you guys for joining us out here.

DiBiase: Well like we said on ECW and on WWE Superstars, we’re out here for one reason and one reason only. And that’s to get a closer look at the possible competition for Cyber Sunday.

Rhodes: You see JR, unlike DX we like to prepare for our big tag team match. And that’s why we’re the Tag Team Champions and the greatest tag team the WWE has ever seen.

Grisham: Well anyway, The Hart Dynasty and The Colons have already qualified. Let’s get this third and final qualifier started.

“Gonna Punch Someone Tonight” by David Church plays. The crowd cheers as Jimmy Wang Yang and Jesse make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following tag team contest is a Cyber Sunday qualifying match scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 416 pounds, Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang.

Grisham: Well here comes a unique new tag team consisting of the two Rednecks, Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang. What do you guys think about this team?

DiBiase: These guys are a tag team? Since when? Well they may be decent athletes but I don’t have faith in them as a tag team.

Rhodes: I’m actually surprised Ted that they still have jobs. I thought they were fired a long time ago. But let’s just say if they qualify tonight and get voted in at Cyber Sunday, it’ll make this match much easier for us.

JR: I think you two may be underestimating these two. We’ve seen them team up a few times and they can have a huge advantage with their quickness and similar styles.

“Bringin' Da Hood T U” plays. The crowd cheers as Cryme Tyme make their way to the ring.

Justin: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 530 pounds, Shad and JTG, Cryme Tyme.

Grisham: And here comes the “Boys From The Hood” Cryme Tyme. Last week on Smackdown, the two of you visited and faced Cryme Tyme in your first match on Smackdown, and I have to say, things didn’t turn out the way you thought.

Rhodes: Ok. Last week doesn’t count. That past Monday on Raw, I was brutally assaulted by Mr. Kennedy and suffered a slight concussion, yet I was still forced to compete. Of course we weren’t at the top of our game.

DiBiase: All they did was take advantage of a bad situation for us. If Cody wasn’t attacked by that non-talented coward then we obviously would’ve beaten Cryme Tyme last week. There’s no doubt we’re better than them.

JR: Well nonetheless, Cryme Tyme did beat you two last week. And if they win tonight and get voted in, they could beat you two again at Cyber Sunday and walk out the Tag Team Champions. Well let’s see who will be the final team to qualify for Cyber Sunday.

Cyber Sunday Qualifying Match
Cryme Tyme vs. Jesse & Jimmy Wang Yang

The match starts off with JTG and Jesse starting it out for their teams. The match continues with a few tags and back and forth action by each team. Towards the end, JTG and Yang are the two legal men, with Yang in control. Yang delivers a spinning back kick to the head of JTG, which send the Cryme Tyme member into Yang and Jesse’s corner. Yang goes over to JTG in the corner and delivers a few kicks to the mid section followed up by a springboard roundhouse kick to the head, which sends JTG to the ground. Yang tags in Jesse. Jesse gets in and starts stomping JTG in the corner. Jesse lifts JTG up and delivers a cradle suplex to him. The cover, 1…2…JTG kicks out. Jesse lifts JTG up and quickly delivers a german suplex to him. JTG is lying on the ground and Jesse goes to the top rope. Jesse measures up JTG and JUMPS OFF FOR A DIVING BODY SPLASH, BUT JTG MOVES OUT OF THE WAY just in time sending Jesse crashing to the mat. JTG starts to crawl to his corner, but Jesse grabs his leg to prevent him. JTG flips over on his back and kicks Jesse off of him. Both men get to their feet and Jesse charges at JTG, but JTG hits him quickly with a front dropkick. JTG and Jesse crawl to their respective corners.

JTG tags in Shad as Jesse tags in Yang. Shad rushes in and goes for a clothesline, but Yang ducks under it. Yang runs off the ropes and at Shad, but Shad connects with a big shoulder block to Yang. Yang gets back to his feet, but Shad delivers a big boot. Shad gets pumped up as the crowd cheers. Shad lifts Yang up and scoop slams him. Shad runs off the ropes, does the rolling the dice taunt as he says “MONEY, MONEY! YEAH, YEAH!” and DROPS AN ELBOW right onto Yang. THE COVER, 1…2…JESSE COMES IN AND BREAKS UP THE PIN. As Shad starts to get up, Jesse quickly runs off the ropes and connects with a FLIPPING NECKBREAKER to Shad. JTG then comes in and starts punching away at Jesse, backing him up to the ropes. JTG backs up a bit, runs at Jesse, and CLOTHESLINES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE, taking himself over and to the outside with him. Yang climbs to the top rope and goes for a MOONSAULT to a standing Shad, but Shad CATCHES the Asian Redneck. Shad gets Yang onto his shoulders as his partner JTG slides back into the ring. JTG runs at Yang on Shad’s shoulders and CRYME TYME DELIVERS THE G9 TO YANG. THE COVER BY SHAD, 1…2…3! CRYME TYME WINS and moves onto Cyber Sunday.

Winners: Cryme Tyme

Justin: Here are your winners, Cryme Tyme!

Cryme Tyme points over to Priceless and taunts around their waists for the Tag Team Titles. Cryme Tyme continues to celebrate, when Priceless get up from the announce table, run into the ring, and ATTACK Cryme Tyme. Priceless stomp on Cryme Tyme as the crowd boos them. DiBiase and Rhodes then lift Cryme Tyme to their feet. DiBiase delivers DREAM STREET to Shad as Rhodes delivers CROSS RHODES to JTG. Priceless stands tall holding their Tag Team Titles high as the crowd heavily boos them.

JR: Rhodes and DiBiase seem real proud of themselves for acting two men from behind who just had a match. I guess they got the revenge they wanted, but they better watch out for Cryme Tyme now. This isn’t over.

Grisham: Well even though they just got attacked, with the win over Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang, Cryme Tyme joins The Hart Dynasty and The Colons as the three choices for the Tag Team Title match at Cyber Sunday. Which team will join DX and Priceless at Cyber Sunday? It’s up to you, the fans, to decide.

JR: Well still to come tonight is our huge main event. Edge serves his punishment when he goes up against John Morrison and the Undertaker in a handicap match. Stay tuned for more Friday Night Smackdown when we return here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see our backstage reporter Eve with R-Truth and Curt Hawkins.

Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time, R-Truth and Curt Hawkins. Now guys, tonight you’ll be in a tag team match against Charlie Haas and Mike Knox. What are your thoughts on this match tonight?

R-Truth: Well Eve, Curt and I are ready for tonight’s tag team match. We’ve been working on strategies all day so we’re not sweating Haas and Knox. Tonight, we’re going to show everyone what R-Truth and Curt Hawkins are made of.

R-Truth stops talking and he and Hawkins look over to the side. The camera zooms out a little and we see Charlie Haas and Mike Knox walk into the picture.

Haas: Oh is that so R-Truth? You two are going to make an impact tonight? Well I hate to disappoint you but that’s just not going to happen tonight. Maybe you forgot just who you’re facing. Mike Knox is a monster and an evil genius, a deadly combination. He knows how to dissect the human body and inflict the most amount of pain possible. Not only does he possess that intelligence, but he has the power to do it. And as for myself… well I’m not only a former three time Tag Team Champion, but I’m also a two time Big East Champion in amateur wrestling from Seton Hall. I can out-wrestle the two of you in my sleep. And I’ve held more gold here in the WWE than the two of you combined. With the combination of Knox and myself, tonight… you two don’t stand a chance.

Hawkins: Oh is that so? Maybe you forgot that I was part of the youngest Tag Team in WWE history to win the Tag Team Titles. And if that isn’t enough, maybe the fact that I beat the both of you a few weeks in singles matches is enough to convince you.

R-Truth: And you may be a team composed of a “genius” and a top amateur wrestler, but the two of you combined have the charisma a character of dirt, which may be the reason why you haven’t been on TV in awhile.

Knox starts to get heated and moves towards Hawkins and R-Truth, but Haas steps right in front of him and holds him back.

Haas: No Mike. Let them make their little wise cracks now. We’ll show them what we’re made of and they’ll regret ever messing with us.

Knox calms down but stares down Hawkins and R-Truth. Haas turns to R-Truth and Hawkins.

Haas: You two seem so sure of yourselves. Well…we’ll just have to settle this in the ring next.

Haas and Knox walk away. Hawkins and R-Truth turn to each other.

R-Truth: Let’s go out there and shut them up.

Hawkins: Yeah. Let’s show them “What’s Up!”

R-Truth smiles at Hawkins using his catchphrase and the two walk away.

Grisham: It’s R-Truth and Curt Hawkins verses Charlie Haas and Mike Knox, next here on Smackdown.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Pay The Price” by Eric & The Hostiles plays. The crowd boos as Charlie Haas makes his way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 249 pounds, Charlie Haas.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown as we get ready for tag team action. And here comes one of the greatest technical wrestlers in all of the WWE, Charlie Haas. And Haas had a thing or two to say to his opponents before the break.

JR: That’s right. Haas basically told R-Truth and Curt Hawkins that there’s no way they can win and that he can “out wrestle them in his sleep.” Bold words but then again you don’t become a top wrestler at Seton Hall for nothing.

“Death Grip” plays. The crowd boos as Mike Knox makes his way to the ring.

Justin: His partner, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 293 pounds, Mike Knox.

Grisham: And here comes his tag team partner, Mike Knox. Knox definitely not a top amateur wrestler, but as Haas described, Knox has other great abilities that will help them to win this tag team match.

JR: Haas said that Knox was a “powerful genius” which may not be too far off. Knox is a very intelligent person who knows so much about how the human body works, which makes him that much more dangerous with his brute strength.

“In The Middle Of It Now” by Disciple plays. The crowd cheers as Curt Hawkins makes his way to the ring.

Justin: Their opponents, first, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 221 pounds, Curt Hawkins.

Grisham: Well Curt Hawkins wasn’t impressed by anything Haas had said. In fact, Hawkins countered back at him by saying he was part of the youngest tag team in WWE history to win the Tag Team Titles, which is true. Talk about being successful at a young age.

JR: And not only that, but Hawkins brought up the fact that within the last month or so, he’s beaten both Haas and Knox in one-on-one competition. That may give Hawkins the edge here tonight.

“What’s Up?” by R-Truth plays. The crowd cheers and chants “What’s Up” to the song as R-Truth makes his way to the ring singing his theme.

Justin: And his partner, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 228 pounds, R-Truth.

Grisham: And here comes the ever charismatic R-Truth making his way to the ring singing and dancing as he always does. It seemed like R-Truth wasn’t impressed by what Charlie Haas was saying.

JR: R-Truth made light of the fact that he believes Haas and Knox lack charisma, which may be true. R-Truth isn’t impressed by being a top amateur wrestler or being able to dissect your opponents. R-Truth is all about going out there, having fun, and winning the match. Well who will get the win in this huge tag team match?

R-Truth & Curt Hawkins vs. Charlie Haas & Mike Knox

The match starts off with Hawkins and Haas fighting in the ring for their teams. The match continues on with a few tags by each team. Towards the end of the match, Hawkins and Knox are the two legal men in the ring, with Knox in control. Knox grabs Hawkins and connects with a belly to belly suplex. Knox goes for the cover, 1…2…Hawkins kicks out. Knox gets up and drags Hawkins over to his corner. Knox tags in Haas. The two stomp on Hawkins in the corner until the referee tells Knox to get out of the ring. Haas grabs Hawkins and delivers a northern lights suplex to him with the bridge. The cover, 1…2…Hawkins kicks out. Haas lifts Hawkins up and taunts in his face. Haas goes to punch Hawkins, but Hawkins blocks it and hits Haas with a dropkick. Haas gets back up but Hawkins delivers a knee to his gut. Hawkins grabs Haas by the head and delivers a SPINNING MANGMAN’S FACEBUSTER. Hawkins crawls over to his corner and tags in R-Truth. R-Truth runs in and starts punching away at Haas. R-Truth connects with a spinning back kick to Haas. R-Truth goes to the top rope and waits for Haas to get to his feet. R-Truth jumps off the top rope and connects with a diving front dropkick. The cover, 1…2…Haas kicks out. R-Truth waits for Haas to get up and then runs off the ropes at him, but Haas catches R-Truth off guard with a back body drop.

Haas goes for a German Suplex, but R-Truth manages to wrap his legs around Haas and rolls him up for a VICTORY ROLL. THE COVER, 1…2…Knox comes in and BREAKS UP the pin. Hawkins gets in the ring and starts punching away at Knox. Hawkins kicks Knox in the gut and sets up for the Lifting DDT, but Knox blocks it and pushes Hawkins off of him. Hawkins comes back off the ropes and gets caught with a huge BICYCLE KICK by Know, which sends Hawkins right out of the ring. Knox turns around into a dropkick to the legs by R-Truth, which sends Knox to his knees. Haas grabs R-Truth and goes for a back suplex, but R-Truth flips over and lands on his feet. R-Truth runs off the ropes at Haas, who just turned around. R-Truth goes for the Lie Detector, but Haas moves out of the way and Knox catches R-Truth in mid-air with a HUGE CROSSBODY BLOCK. Haas then lifts R-Truth up quickly and delivers a PERFECT GERMAN SUPLEX with the bridge. The COVER, 1…2…3! HAAS WINS the match for himself and Knox.

Winners: Charlie Haas & Mike Knox

Justin: Here are your winners, Mike Knox and Charlie Haas!

Mike Knox and Charlie Haas walk up the ramp backwards smirking, looking on at Hawkins checking on R-Truth in the ring.

JR: Well Charlie Haas and Mike Knox pick up the win and backed up everything Haas said before. You can’t fault R-Truth for losing though. That Crossbody block by Knox came out of nowhere, which was the beginning of the end.

Grisham: I guess the intelligence of Knox and the technical skills of Haas really were a factor here tonight. Well still to come tonight, the World Heavyweight Champion Edge will take on John Morrison and the Undertaker in a handicap match. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Smackdown.

*-----Commercial Break------*

The lights go out and the gong sounds. “Graveyard Symphony” plays and the crowd cheers as The Undertaker makes his way down to the ring.

Justin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring, The Undertaker!

Grisham: Welcome back to Smackdown as The Phenom makes his way to the ring. The Undertaker will be involved later in the two on one handicap match in the main event, but I wonder what he’s doing out here now?

JR: It looks like Undertaker is out here to address something. I’m sure it has to do with The Revolution or his brother Kane turning on him. I think Undertaker still can’t believe that happened. It was a complete shocker.

Undertaker gets into the ring and grabs a microphone as the crowd continues to cheer for him.

Undertaker: Ever since I came back at Unforgiven a month ago, The Revolution has been a thorn in my side. I’ve wanted nothing more than to help take out those punks Edge and Chris Jericho. Tonight, thanks to Theodore Long, I now get to get my hands on Edge when he takes on myself and John Morrison in a handicap match. John and I are going to teach Edge a lesson tonight. Edge and Jericho have been such pains to me since I’ve returned, which is why I can’t seem to figure out why my brother Kane turned on me to join them in The Revolution. I just don’t understand…

Just then, the fire pyro goes off on the stage. “Man On Fire” plays and out comes Kane making his way to the ring as the arena boos him. Kane gets in the ring and grabs a microphone.

Kane: You seem to have a lot of questions brother, so I thought I’d clear things up. First off, I didn’t turn on you…YOU turned on me Undertaker!

The crowd boos as Undertaker looks confused.

Kane: Yeah you did. When you came back, I was excited. I was excited to team with my brother once again to take out Chris Jericho and Edge. I was happy for the Brothers Of Destruction verses The Revolution…but it wasn’t that, was it? It was more like you verses The Revolution. You didn’t care about me and my needs. It was all about you and what you wanted. You wanted to be the center of attention. You wanted to be the one who ended The Revolution early. You wanted all the credit and glory. That’s why you tagged yourself in when I had the match won. That’s why you didn’t care when you cost me my chance at being in the number one contenders match. You say that Edge and Chris Jericho have done nothing but irritate you and that they’re delusional. Well I used to agree with you, until I saw things from their side. I started to see what they were saying. Theodore Long didn’t care for me or help me, and my own brother didn’t even care for me. So even though I had my problems with Jericho a month ago, he gets me. He gets what I’m experiencing and going through. The Revolution isn’t about one person’s selfish glory. It’s about making sure everyone is treated fairly and has a bright future. And to ensure that, we need to take care of people like you. SO I didn’t turn on you. I simply did what I needed to do and what was best for me.

Undertaker: Do you really believe everything you just said? How was I selfish? I was trying to do what was best for both of us, which was to take out The Revolution as quickly as possible. But you didn’t see that. YOU were so selfish that you couldn’t see that. You cared more about having the glory in that tag team match and being the number one contender for your selfish needs, whereas I cared about those things so that I could prevent The Revolution from getting them. So instead of coming and talking to me…you decide to turn on your own brother and join the group that if it gets powerful enough it will drive this company into the ground and then YOU’LL be out of a job.

The crowd cheers as Undertaker gets right in the face of Kane.

Undertaker: You attacked me at No Mercy… you attacked me last week on Smackdown… If that’s how you want it to be between us, that’s fine with me. So let’s settle this sibling rivalry. Cyber Sunday… ME AND YOU, ONE-ON-ONE. What do you say?

Kane smirks.

Kane: YOU’RE ON!

The crowd cheers for the match being made.

Kane: Be careful what you wish for. Because you, brother, just dug your own grave!

Kane and Undertaker stare each other down. Kane turns to leave, but then quickly tries to get a cheap shot in on Undertaker, but Undertaker blocks it. Undertaker starts punching away at Kane, backing him up to the ropes. Undertaker then CLOTHESLINES Kane over the tope rope and to the outside as the crowd goes wild! Kane gets back to his feet and smacks the ring apron in frustration. Undertaker tells Kane to get back in, but Kane turns and walks up the ramp. Undertaker taunts in the ring as the crowd cheers for him.

JR: Wow. Well so much happened there. We found out more details on why Kane turned on the Undertaker, we had a challenge for Cyber Sunday, and then a brawl starts, but this time the Undertaker comes out on top.

Grisham: The challenge was put out and Kane accepted the match for Cyber Sunday. That’s huge right there! The sibling rivalry will get settled at Cyber Sunday. Well Undertaker better get his head in the game because later tonight he gets to have his retribution on Edge in the two-on-one handicap match. Stay tuned for more Friday Night Smackdown when we return here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays. The crowd boos as Umaga, Armando Estrada, Shelton Benjamin, and Dolph Ziggler make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following six man tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing The Revolution, being accompanied by Armando Estrada, at a combined weight of 819, Umaga, Dolph Ziggler, and the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin.

Grisham: Welcome back to Smackdown as we get ready for six man tag team action. Umaga, Dolph Ziggler, and Shelton Benjamin all representing The Revolution in this match tonight.

JR: Well we’ve seen what these three can do together along with the rest of The Revolution. So obviously teamwork will not be a problem here tonight. But I want to bring up that we have the Intercontinental Champion out here right now and last night we learned who his Cyber Sunday opponent will be.

Grisham: That’s right. At Cyber Sunday, John Morrison will face Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Title. And speaking of last night, look at Ziggler’s face. He’s still angry about losing the number one contenders match to Morrison.

“Booyaka 619” by P.O.D. plays. The crowd cheers as Rey Mysterio makes his way down to the ring.

Justin: Their opponents, first, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 175 pounds, Rey Mysterio.

JR: Well Ziggler better get himself together, because this is one man you don’t want to make a mistake around. Rey is so quick that he’ll capitalize on any little slip-up you make.

Grisham: Shelton Benjamin looks on at the man who he beat back at Unforgiven to earn that Intercontinental Championship. Rey thought he taught Shelton respect, but I think that might have washed away.

JR: Shelton did show some respect to people by shaking hands after a good match, but the fact that Shelton joined The Revolution and attacked Rey Mysterio at No Mercy shows that maybe Rey didn’t get all of his point across to the Intercontinental Champion.

“No More Words” by Endeverafter plays. The crowd cheers as Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring.

Justin: From Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 225 pounds, Jeff Hardy.

Grisham: Well in less than two weeks, Rey Mysterio will be one of the men you the fans can pick to be the Special Guest Referee for the World Title match. And here comes another choice, the “Extreme Enigma” Jeff Hardy.

JR: Well Rey and Jeff along with others want nothing more than to stop The Revolution from succeeding. Not only for fear of what Smackdown could become, but also past conflicts between the group members.

Grisham: Well you bring up the past JR, just look at this match. We have Umaga on one side and Jeff on the other. We’ve seen these two go at it many times in the past for the Intercontinental Title. We could see an old rivalry rebirth here tonight.

“This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage plays. The crowd cheers as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.

Justin: And their partner, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 222 pounds, Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk.

JR: You talked about the choices at Cyber Sunday for the World Title match… well here’s the last choice for the Special Guest Referee, CM Punk who makes his way to the ring with that Money In The Bank briefcase.

Grisham: Punk can cash that in at anytime he wants and he reminded Edge of that last week when Edge and Jericho were trying to convince Punk to be a fair referee if he was picked and to stay out of their way.

JR: I don’t think that really worked on Punk, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. And don’t forget, CM Punk has cashed in a Money In The Bank briefcase successfully before and it was on none other than the current champion Edge. Well can The Revolution members take out the Cyber Sunday referee choices for their leaders’ World Title match? We’re about to find out.

Umaga, Dolph Ziggler, & Shelton Benjamin vs. CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio

The match begins with Punk and Umaga starting it out for their respective teams. The match progresses as an even tag team match with multiple tags. Towards the end, Jeff and Ziggler are the two legal men in the ring, with Ziggler in control of the match. Ziggler lifts Jeff up and taunts in his face. Ziggler then jumps up and delivers an impactful dropkick right to the head of Jeff. Ziggler goes over to his corner and tags in Shelton. Shelton gets in the ring and starts punching away at Jeff. Shelton then pulls Jeff in and delivers a T-BONE SUPLEX. The cover, 1…2…Jeff kicks out. Shelton then waits for Jeff to get back to his feet. Shelton goes for a superkick, but Jeff catches Shelton’s foot. Jeff spins Shelton around and Shelton goes for the Dragon Whip, but Jeff manages to duck it. Jeff then runs at Shelton and delivers a SLEEPER SLAM to him. Jeff starts to crawl to his corner, but Shelton dives onto Jeff to prevent him from reach his partners. Shelton lifts Jeff up and tosses him into a corner, but Jeff runs up the corner, jumps off, and hits the WHISPER IN THE WIND on Shelton. Both men are down and Jeff crawls to his corner. Jeff finally reaches his corner and tags in Rey. Rey runs in and starts kicking Shelton. Shelton grabs Rey and knees him in the gut. Shelton then tosses Rey off the ropes, but Rey comes back and counters with a head scissors takedown. Rey sits Shelton up and kicks him in the back. Rey then springboards off the ropes and delivers a SEATED SENTON DROP to a seated Shelton. Rey goes for the COVER, 1…2…SHELTON JUST MANAGES TO KICK OUT.

Rey gets up and runs off the ropes, but he’s too close to the opponents’ corner and gets hit with a cheap knee to the back by Ziggler. Rey turns around holding his back as the crowd boos. Ziggler grabs Rey’s head and drops to the floor as he performs a huge jawbreaker on the ropes to the Master of the 619. Ziggler taunts to the crowd as they boo him. Ziggler turns back around facing the ring, when all of a sudden he sees JEFF FLIPPING OVER THE TOP ROPE and onto him, as the crowd pops loud for the spot. As Jeff slowly gets up on the outside, Umaga drops from the apron, grabs Jeff, and THROWS HIM HARD INTO THE BARRICADE, which makes the crowd gasp. Umaga turns around and sees PUNK DIVING THROUGH THE ROPES onto him. Back in the ring, Shelton grabs Rey and sets him up for a powerbomb. Shelton lifts Rey up and starts running towards the corner, most likely to powerbomb him into it, when all of a sudden before Shelton can reach the corner, REY COUNTERS WITH A QUICK HURRICANRANA to Shelton and hook both of the Intercontinental Champions’s legs for the PIN, 1…2…3! REY CATCHES SHELTON OFF GUARD AND WINS the match for his team.

Winners: CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio

Justin: Here are your winners, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio!

Rey taunts on the ropes to the crowd as they cheer for him. Rey gets down, turns around, and sees Shelton standing up looking frustrated at himself for losing. Rey takes a step back as a precaution. Shelton then extends his hand towards Rey and says “Good Match!” Rey shakes Shelton’s hand and then leaves the ring. Rey, Jeff, and Punk walk up the ramp and to the back. Ziggler gets into the ring and goes up to Shelton and turns him around so he’s facing him. Ziggler yells at Shelton “WHAT WAS THAT?!” Shelton apologizes and says that Rey caught him off guard. Ziggler and Shelton argue a bit until Umaga gets into the ring and separates the two of them. Ziggler and Shelton shake it off and they walk to the back.

Grisham: Whoa! A little bickering there between Dolph Ziggler and Shelton Benjamin. I don’t know what Ziggler was madder at? The fact that Shelton lost the match or that he shook Rey’s hand afterwards.

JR: Todd, we mentioned respect earlier and it looks that Shelton has not lost all of it. Shaking Rey’s hand showed class by the Intercontinental Champion. But like you said, Ziggler was not happy with that or the loss. If Umaga wasn’t there to separate the two, who knows what could’ve happened.

Grisham: Well hopefully for The Revolution this is a minor speed bump that they’ll get over quickly. Ziggler’s anger between last night and tonight might have just gotten the better of him. Anyway, Punk, Rey, and Jeff make sure The Revolution loses here tonight. Can Morrison and Undertaker put another loss in the column for the Revolution when they face Edge in a handicap match later tonight? Stay tuned for more Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see Jeff Hardy walking down the hallway when Edge and Chris Jericho come up to him.

Jericho: Jeff Hardy. Just the man we were looking for.

Jeff: What do you two want?

Edge: Don’t be hostile. We just want to talk. You know Jeff, you and I are a lot alike. We both have been World Champions, Intercontinental Champion, and multiple time Tag Team Champion, we both hate your brother Matt, we both revolutionized the TLC match…

Jeff: What’s your point Edge?

Edge: The point is that since we have some much in common, I’m sure you’ll understand that Chris and I just want a normal match at Cyber Sunday with no interruptions. We want to have the greatest match of all time, but we can’t do that if the referee is biased against both of us and ruins the match.

Jericho: All we want from you Jeff is to know that if you get picked that you’ll just stay out of our way and act like a normal, official referee. What do you say?

Jeff: Well you two raise a good argument. So I’ll answer you with this… The two of you have been nothing but a pain in the ass for not only the last month, but for years. Edge, you said we’re alike. Maybe all of those things you listed are true but I’m not a jerk like you. You stabbed me and my brother in the back and you put me through hell for years. Not to mention the fact that the two of you have being trying to take over Smackdown for the past month to consequently put me out of a job and you and your mindless drones have been attacking me. I HATE the two of you! That will NEVER change! And as far as what I’ll do if I get voted as your special guest referee at Cyber Sunday…we’ll you’ll just have to wait and see. Maybe I’ll be fair and stay out of the way…or maybe I won’t.

Jeff smirks and walks away as Edge and Jericho stand there with an angry look on their faces.

Jericho: Damn it! This isn’t going as we planned. First Punk blows us off and now Jeff.

Edge: Don’t worry. We still have one left. And if that doesn’t work, we’ll try beating the fairness into them.

Edge and Jericho smirk and laugh a bit. Just then their smiles wipe off their face as they see Theodore Long come up to them with security behind him.

Jericho: Teddy Long. Did you not learn your lesson last week when I knocked you on the floor… Oh wait, it looks like you did since you brought security with you right now. What is it Teddy? Are you afraid of me? Well you should be. How dare you put Edge, your World Champion, in a two on one handicap match against the Undertaker and John Morrison. This just further proves how biased and stupid you are…

Long: NOW THAT’S ENOUGH! As far as the handicap match is concerned, Edge deserves it after everything you’ve put me through in the last month. I think I’ve been pretty fair considering you’ve been threatening my job for a month. And Jericho don’t forget, your punishment will take place next week.

Jericho: Wow, more biased decisions. What a shocker. What’s my punishment going to be?

Long: I’ll announce that next week when you’re back on the show.

Jericho looks confused by the end of that comment.

Long: You see playa, I did learn a lesson last week. And it’s not to be afraid of you…it’s that I’m the General Manager of Smackdown, which means I have control over everyone…including you! These men behind me aren’t here to protect me… they’re here to THROW YOU OUT!

Jericho and Edge get furious.

Jericho: WHAT DO YOU MEAN THROW ME OUT?! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

Jericho goes to get in Long’s face, but security steps in front and grabs a crazed Jericho.

Long: Security, escort Mr. Jericho out of the building.

Security drags Jericho away as he kicks and screams at Long. Long then goes up to Edge.

Edge: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR TEDDY?! You can’t just kick him out because you feel like it!

Long: I kicked Jericho out so that he wouldn’t interfere in your match tonight. Good luck playa.

Long walks away with a smile on his face as Edge has an angry look on his face.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Not Enough For Me” plays. The crowd boos as Michelle McCool and Alicia Fox make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the number one contendership to the Women’s Championship. Introducing first, being accompanied by Alicia Fox, from Palatka, Florida, Michelle McCool.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown as we get ready for some diva action here. Michelle McCool makes her way to the ring with her protégé Alicia Fox.

JR: Michelle has been on a roll for over a month. We saw two weeks ago she pinned the Women’s Champion Melina in a tag team match. Now Michelle looks to become the number one contender for her title.

Grisham: Well Michelle constantly talks about how she’s going to be the first diva ever to have held both the Diva’s and Women’s Championships. No diva has ever accomplished that and Michelle looks to be the first.

Michelle and Alicia get in the ring. Michelle asks for a microphone as the crowd continues to boo her.

Michelle: You know, I don’t even know why I need to fight to become the number on contender. I should just be named number one contender. I was the first ever Diva’s Champion. A month ago, I took out Gail Kim when I beat her ruthlessly with a steel chair. Now thanks to me, Gail Kim has been out with an injury and no one knows when or if she’ll come back. Then two weeks ago, I pinned the Women’s Champion Melina in a tag team match. Melina, that proved that I have your number. Now tonight, not only am I without a doubt going to become number one contender, but I’m going to make an impact and show everyone why I’M the most dominant diva in all of the WWE! And then when I get my title shot and beat Melina for the Women’s Championship…because let’s be honest, we all know I’m beating her…I will cement my place in history by becoming the first diva ever to have held both the Diva’s and Women’s Championships.

“With Legs Like That” by Zebrahead plays. The crowd cheers as Maria makes her way to the ring.

Justin: And her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, Maria.

JR: Michelle sounds very confident about winning tonight, but she can’t count out Maria. If she underestimates her, Maria can very easily get the advantage and end up facing her good friend Melina for the Women’s Championship.

Grisham: Like you said JR, Michelle is already looking past Maria and onto facing Melina. She can’t do that, but then again what else do you expect from the arrogant Michelle McCool. Which one of these lovely divas will become the number one contender to Melina’s Women’s Championship?

#1 Contendership for Women’s Championship
Michelle McCool vs. Maria

The match starts off with both divas going right at each other. As the match progresses, Michelle maintains the majority of the control and momentum. Towards the end of the match, Michelle is still in control. Michelle delivers a running knee shot to the back on Maria, which sends her into the ropes so that she’s laying on the middle rope. Michelle goes over to Maria and presses her knee on the back of Maria’s neck so that she’s choking her against the rope. The referee counts to four and Michelle finally gets off. The referee tells Michelle that she has to get off as Michelle stands back with her hands in the air says that she got off in time. At this time, Alicia gets in Maria’s face and delivers a huge and loud slap to her face which makes the crowd gasp and then boo her. Michelle goes for the pin, 1….2…Maria kicks out. Michelle quickly grabs Maria’s head and starts slamming it into the mat. Michelle then gets up and starts dropping her knee right into the gut of Maria a few times. Michelle goes for another cover, 1…2…Maria kicks out again. Michelle starts to get a little frustrated. Michelle lifts Maria up and onto her shoulders and walks around taunting to the crowd as they boo her.

Maria though starts squirming and is able to slide off the back of Michelle. Michelle turns around and gets caught with a kick to the gut followed up by a DDT by Maria. Both women are down and slowly start to get up. They meet in the middle of the ring and start exchanging forearms to the face. Michelle goes for a clothesline, but Maria ducks it and dropkicks Michelle. Michelle falls backwards into the corner so that she’s sitting in the corner. Maria taunts to the crowd, runs at Michelle in the corner and delivers a bronco buster. Maria then lifts Michelle up in the corner, grabs her head in a bulldog position and taunts to the crowd. Maria runs out of the corner for a bulldog, but right as Maria jumps up for extra impact on the bulldog, Michelle is able to hold Maria up and drops her neck first on the ropes. Maria gets up very dazed and holding her neck, and gets hit with a RUNNING STRAIGHT KICK to the face by Michelle that’s heard throughout the arena. Michelle goes for the COVER on a lifeless Maria, 1…2…3! MICHELLE WINS the match and is the new number one contender.

Winner: Michelle McCool

Justin: Here is your winner, and the number one contender to the Women’s Championship, Michelle McCool!

Right after she’s announced the winner, Michelle picks up a lifeless Maria and tosses her to the outside. Michelle makes her way to the outside as her protégé Alicia is stomping on Maria. Michelle lifts Maria up and tells Alicia to grab her other arm. Michelle and Alicia then TOSS MARIA HARD INTO THE STEEL STEPS. Michelle grabs Maria by the hair and lifts her up. Michelle sets her up, waits for a second, and then delivers the FAITH BREAKER to Maria onto the arena floor. Michelle lifts Maria’s limb head up and starts yelling in her face. Just then the crowd starts cheering as MELINA RUNS DOWN to the ringside area. Michelle looks up and sees Melina coming so she and Alicia run around the opposite side of the ring to avoid Melina. Melina checks on her friend Maria as Michelle and Alicia walk up the ramp taunting and with smirking. The EMTs finally get to ringside to help Maria. Melina stands up and starts yelling at Michelle as Michelle taunts around her waist for the Women’s Title.

JR: Melina got out here just a little too late. And now thanks to Michelle McCool, another one of her friends is being taken away on a stretcher. First Gail Kim and now Maria. I think Michelle went too far, but she did send a huge message to the Women’s Champion.

Grisham: Michelle is in the head of Melina, no doubt. Michelle is so confident that she’ll walk out as Women’s Champion when she finally faces Melina for the title. And as much as I hate to say it, if this is any indication, we could be looking at the first diva to win the Diva’s and Women’s Championships.

JR: Michelle has such a mean streak in her, but this could have also started a fire in the Women’s Champion. I can’t wait to see this show down. Well still to come tonight is Theodore Long’s punishment for Edge, when the World Champion takes on John Morrison and the Undertaker in a handicap match. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, we here in the background “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise playing.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown. You are listening to the official them song for Cyber Sunday. It’s “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise, off their debut album, available now. And JR, what a night Cyber Sunday is going to be.

JR: That’s right Todd. It’s the one night of the year where you the fans get to vote on a stipulation for every match. In less than two weeks, the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line as the champion Shelton Benjamin takes on the new number one contender, John Morrison. Last night on WWE Superstars, we saw Morrison defeat Dolph Ziggler to earn this match. And you the fans will get to vote on what type of match these two incredible young athletes will face off in. Will it be a Ladder Match, a Tables Match, or an Extreme Rules Match? The choice is yours as John Morrison looks to win the Intercontinental Title once again, but can he beat The Revolution’s Gold Standard?

Grisham: Well Shelton Benjamin won’t be the only Revolution member fighting at Cyber Sunday. After the events that took place tonight, our General Manager Theodore Long has made it official. It will be the “Big Red Machine” Kane taking on his brother the “Dead Man” the Undertaker. And you the fans will get to vote on which match type these brothers will face off in. Will it be a Street Fight, a First Blood Match, or a Stretcher Match? After Kane turned on the Undertaker to join The Revolution, can Undertaker get some retribution or will Kane finish off his brother?

JR: And of course our huge main event for Cyber Sunday will be for the World Heavyweight Championship, as the champion Edge takes on the number one contender Chris Jericho. Edge and Jericho promise that this will be the greatest match we’ve ever seen. But they won’t be the only two in that ring. You the fans will get to vote on who will be the Special Guest Referee for this championship match. Will it be CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, or Rey Mysterio? And with all three choices having their problems recently with Edge and Jericho, what will happen when the two Revolution leaders face off with a rival as the official?

Grisham: You’ll see all of this and more in less than two weeks at the most interactive pay per view of the year, Cyber Sunday.

Backstage we see John Morrison walking to the ring. The backstage reporter Eve catches up to him.

Eve: John. I know you have a match coming up, but I was wondering if I could get you comments on your match at Cyber Sunday and what happened last night on WWE Superstars.

Morrison: Last night, I became the number one contender to the Intercontinental Title. So now I go onto Cyber Sunday to take on the champion Shelton Benjamin and the fans will get to choose between a Ladder Match, a Tables Match, and an Extreme Rules match for us to fight in. Any of those choices are fine with me. Because no matter what match type it is, I’m going to go out there, have a great competitive match with Shelton, and I’m going to walk out as the Intercontinental Champion for the forth time. As far as Dolph Ziggler attacking me goes, I see it as nothing more than him being a sore loser. He was so sure he was going to win, but then what happened Dolph? Oh yeah, I beat you! And since I can’t get my revenge on you tonight, I’ll just have to settle for taking out one of the leaders of your group. Undertaker and I… we’re going to enjoy giving Edge the beating he deserves.

Morrison walks away.

Grisham: Up next, John Morrison is in action when he teams with the Undertaker to take on Edge in a handicap match. Our main event is next!

*-----Commercial Break------*

“You Think You Know Me!” “Metalingus” by Alter Bridge plays. The crowd boos as Edge makes his way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is a two on one handicap match, scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 250 pounds, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, the co-leader of The Revolution, Edge.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown, and it’s time now for our main event. The World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring with no one by his side for once. No Great Khali, no Chris Jericho, no Revolution.

JR: Well in the beginning of the night, our General Manager announced that because of their extreme actions from last week, Edge and Chris Jericho would be punished. Tonight is Edge’s punishment. And to add to that, Theodore Long kicked Jericho out of the building.

Grisham: Not a good night for the World Champion so far, and it’s about to get worse as he goes up in a two on one handicap match. I wouldn’t want to be Edge right now. Nothing seems to be going The Revolution’s way tonight.

“Ain’t No Make Believe” by Stonefree Experience plays. The crowd cheers as John Morrison makes his way to the ring.

Justin: His opponents, first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 219 pounds, John Morrison.

JR: And here comes one of his opponents now, the “Friday Night Delight” John Morrison. We’ve talked about it a few times tonight already. Last night on WWE Superstars, Morrison beat Ziggler to become the new number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship. Morrison seems ready for that.

Grisham: Well before the break we heard from John Morrison about that match at Cyber Sunday. Morrison said he’s looking forward to it and that it’ll be a great match for the fans to watch. And you the fans will get to vote on what match Morrison and Shelton will compete in. Either a Ladder match, a Tables match, or an Extreme Rules match.

JR: I can’t wait for that. Morrison also brought up before the commercial break that Ziggler got a cheap shot in last night, being a sore loser. Morrison said he’s going to shake it off and get his revenge on Ziggler through his leader here tonight.

The lights go out and the gong sounds. “Graveyard Symphony” plays and the crowd cheers as The Undertaker makes his way down to the ring.

Justin: And his partner, from Death Valley, weighing in at 299 pounds, the Undertaker.

Grisham: And here comes the Dead Man, the Phenom, the Undertaker. And Undertaker I’m sure after what happened earlier with his brother Kane, is ready to beat someone up. And unfortunately for Edge, that man is him.

JR: Well it’s kind of Edge’s fault anyway. He got Kane to turn on the Undertaker. He and Chris Jericho got Kane to join The Revolution. And now Edge will have to pay the price.

Grisham: And speaking of Kane, as we announced before the commercial break, it is official. At Cyber Sunday, the former Brothers Of Destructon will go one-on-one and you the fans get to pick what type of match they will finish this sibling rivalry off in. Will it be a Street Fight, a First Blood Match, or a Stretcher Match? But enough about Cyber Sunday. It’s time for Edge’s punishment match. Can The Revolution leader survive?

Edge vs. John Morrison & Undertaker

The match starts off with Edge looking nervous but then collecting himself as the match begins. Edge manages to get some offense in, but most of the match is controlled by Morrison and Undertaker as they frequently tag in and out. Towards the end, Undertaker and Edge are the two legal men in the ring with Undertaker in control. Undertaker had just performed Old School on Edge and is now stalking Edge as he slowly gets up. Undertaker grabs Edge by the throat, setting up for a Chokeslam, but Edge manages to squirm and scramble to the nearby ropes and holds on, but Undertaker still has the choke hold in. The referee gets involved and tries to pull Undertaker’s arm off of Edge. Undertaker finally let’s go aggressively, but the force that he pulled his arm away with INADVERTENTLY SHOVED THE REFEREE to the side a bit. Undertaker takes a quick glance at the referee, which allows Edge to sneak in a quick LOW BLOW kick to Undertaker. The referee is back to his feet and has no idea the low blow had taken place. Edge viciously stomps on Undertaker as he’s on the ground, focusing on the head mostly. Edge then mounts Undertaker and starts slamming his head to the mat in frustration and punches him as well. Edge quickly lifts Undertaker up to a vertical base, sets up, and connects with the EDGECUTION TO THE DEAD MAN. Edge goes for the COVER, 1…2…MORRISON comes in, dives and just BREAKS IT UP.

Morrison and Edge get to their feet and exchange punches. Edge gets the better of the exchange and tosses Morrison off the ropes. Edge ducks down for a back body drop, but Morrison hurdles over Edge and keeps running. Edge turns around just as Morrison springboards off the ropes and connects with the FLYING CHUCK KICK. Morrison taunts as the crowd cheers. Morrison then drags Edge’s body over towards the ropes. Morrison sets up in the corner and looks back at Edge like he’s going for Starship Pain. Right as Morrison was about to perform the move, ZIGGLER, SHELTON, AND UMAGA COME DOWN to the ringside area to a sea of boos. Ziggler gets on the apron, but Morrison knocks him off quickly with a roundhouse kick. Just then, the crowd cheers as PUNK, JEFF, AND REY MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN to the ring and starts attack Umaga, Shelton, and Ziggler. Unfortunately for them though, KHALI THEN COMES DOWN and helps turn the tables with the numbers advantage. Back in the ring, Morrison returns his focus back to the match as he sees Edge slowly getting up. Morrison goes to run off the ropes, but SHELTON GRABS MORRISON’S FOOT to stop his momentum and distract him. Morrison turns around and DELIVERS A KICK TO SHELTON that sends him back into Ziggler, Umaga, and Khali. The four of them stand there grouped together, as Punk, Jeff, and Rey are on the ground to the side beaten up. Morrison then springboards off the ropes and does a 450 SPLASH TO THE OUTSIDE, taking out all four of the Revolution members.

Back in the ring, Edge stalks Undertaker for a Spear as the Dead Man gets back to his feet, holding his head. Edge runs at Undertaker, but the Dead Man manages to counter the Spear with a BIG BOOT to the face. The crowd cheers as Undertaker taunts, signaling the Tombstone Piledriver. Right as Undertaker is stalking Edge, his attention is turned to the stage as the FIRE PYRO GOES OFF on the stage and Kane makes his way down to the ring. As Kane goes to get onto the apron, the referee runs over to stop him and yells at him to get out of here. Just then, JERICHO SURPRISINGLY COMES OUT FROM THE CROWD behind the announce table and undetected by Undertaker or the referee who are both distracted with Kane. Jericho gets into the ring and right as Undertaker turns around, Jericho delivers the CODEBREAKER to him and immediately slips out of the ring. As Undertaker stands their groggy, Edge gets up and quickly capitalizes with a SPEAR to the Dead Man. Edge yells at the referee to get over there and goes for the COVER, 1….2…3! EDGE SURPRISINGLY WINS the handicap match after all of that chaos.

Winner: Edge

Justin: Here is your winner, Edge!

Right as the match concludes, Edge, Jericho, and Kane stand in the ring, as Punk, Jeff, Rey, and Morrison take it to Ziggler, Shelton, Khali, and Umaga on the outside. Kane goes over to his bother and starts punching away at a downed and defeated Undertaker. Kane lifts Undertaker up, grabs him by the throat, and delivers a MASSIVE CHOKESLAM to his brother as the arena boos. Kane stands over his brother while doing his evil laugh.

Punk, Jeff, Rey, and Morrison get into the ring as they’ve taken the other four out. Morrison and Rey catch Kane from behind with a double dropkick that sends the Big Red Machine through the ropes and to the arena floor, while Jeff and Punk grab Jericho and toss him over the top rope and to the outside floor. The four of them all surround Edge as the crowd cheers. Edge, scared, looks around at all of his Revolution members on the ground. The World Champion then looks for an escape route but can’t find one. Edge finally just runs for it in between Jeff and Morrison and tries to slide out of the ring, but they catch him before he can do so. The four of them take turns beating up on Edge and make sure the other Revolution members can’t get back in the ring.

Just then, Jericho sneaks back into the ring with a steel chair and waits for one of them to turn around. Morrison turns around first and gets CLOCKED IN THE HEAD WITH A STEEL CHAIR SHOT by Jericho. Jeff then turns around and Jericho HITS HIM WITH THE CHAIR. Rey turns around and is able to duck Jericho’s chair shot. Rey runs off the ropes and comes back at Jericho, but Jericho quickly turns around and catches Rey with a HARD CHAIR SHOT TO THE HEAD. Punk then tries to sneak up on Jericho, but the second he turns Jericho around, Jericho NAILS PUNK IN THE HEAD WITH THE STEEL CHAIR. Jericho helps his partner Edge back to his feet. The two Revolution leaders take a look around at their fallen adversaries and then raise their arms up high in triumph.

All of a sudden, “MacMilitant” plays. The crowd cheers as Theodore Long makes his way out on the top of the stage. Jericho and Edge look over at Long on the titantron with their smiles almost wiped away.

Long: Jericho, obviously you didn’t understand it when I told you to leave the arena. Not only did you disobey my order, but you interfered in the main event match and then started swinging that chair around like a mad man. So since you didn’t listen to me, it’s your turn for punishment, and playa I have something special in stored for you. Next week, here on Smackdown, it’ll be you CHRIS JERICHO… VERSES CM PUNK…JEFF HARDY…AND REY MYSTERIO, in a three on one handicap match! Good luck playa!

The crowd cheers loudly for the announcement. Jericho takes the chair in his hands and throws it down in frustration. Jericho starts yelling “THIS IS UNFAIR!” at Long as the GM walks away to the backstage area. Jericho continues to yell and starts kicking the ropes in anger. Edge and the rest of The Revolution try to calm Jericho down, but at the same time are angry themselves as they all stand in the middle of the ring.

JR: WOW! What an announcement! Good job by our General Manager. Jericho was supposed to stay out of the building, but instead he disobeys orders and causes all of this chaos. But now he has to pay the price. Serves Jericho right.

Grisham: Well next week Chris Jericho gets his punishment when he faces all three men who could be the Special Guest Referee for his championship match, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio. How can Jericho survive this? Thank you for joining us for Smackdown here on My Network TV. Be sure to join us next week, just two days before Cyber Sunday. From Lexington, Kentucky, goodnight everyone!

Edge/Jericho/Long: I forgot how big the revolution was to be honest. I also forgot you still had Umaga in this thread to. Anyway good promo and I really like some of the nicknames you gave people such as Ziggler. Anyway T-Long spoils the party and it seems like Edge is put in a tough spot tonight.

Cryme Tyme v. Jessie/Yang: I have to agree with Rhodes I'm surprised that Jessie and Yang still have a job, but I'm glad your using them. Anyway Cryme Tyme winning was the good choice, and I'm interested to see what they can do if chosen.

Truth/Hawkins Promo: with Hawkins saying whats up. While I laugh I'm glad your using him seeing how I completly ignored him in my thread, but your really working your mid-card program which is fine. If their match is up next two tag matches in a row I might want to change.

Truth/Hawkins vs. Knox/Haas: Solid match with Knox and Haas winning. I see this rivalry only beginning and really some good can come out of this rivalry. I really don't like Truth taking the pin over Hawkins but it is all good.

Kane/Taker Promo: Ooooo such a bone chilling promo by both, putting the blame on each other. Kane's ending line really made everything heat up, and its good they have a match at Cyber Sunday which is starting to develop really well. Can't wait to see the brothers go at it.

Six Man Tag: Some great action but already the Revolution seems to be bickering already? Whats the deal with Ziggler and Benjamin. Oh boy this can't be good. If something does happen in the future, I see Benjamin turning face over Ziggler.

Edge/Jericho/Jeff: with Edge saying we both hate your brother Matt. So true.....anyway good promo, and I'm glad Hardy isn't backing down for the Revolution. Either way whoever gets picked as the ref will no way call a fair match tbh. We shall see what happens.

McCool Promo and Match: Well the promo pretty much summarized how the match was going to be. Anyway I'm glad Michelle pulled the victory out and now I would like to see the title around her waist. Also Michelle is now tearing apart the divas division injuring divas left and right. Ruthless agression I like it.

Main Event: holy shit alot of crap going on during the match and afterwards. A 450 Springboard by Morrison would be awesome to see IRL. Anyway the battle lines are def drawn with all this chaos that persued afterwards. I really don't like Jericho clocking everyone with the chair, maybe hit one person then someone coming in and hitting him then someone hits them from the Revolution and such then Jericho being the last man standing with hitting the codebreaker on someone. Anyway huge announcement by Long with Jericho vs. Three of the top men on SD!

Overall: Great show man. Cyber Sunday is really developing, and I do like the angles you have. Anyway the only thing I didn't like was Morrison's interview I feel really didn't need to be there and two tag matches in a row (Cryme Tyme/ Jimmy and Jessie proceeded by Truth/Hawkins vs Haas Knox) I will say that you do a great job of using everyone you can. Like always I seem to review SD! bc it is just the best, company that you write for. Keep it going man.

Raw Preview
October 19, 2009
Jacksonville, Florida

Last week on Raw, chaos ensued. With a title match in the hands of the WWE fans, Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, and the Big Show took the opportunity to start campaigning for votes. Each man made valid points as to why they should be picked, but obviously that wasn’t enough for them that night. During our main event, Orton came out and attacked Cena to start all of the chaos. After losing earlier with he rest of Legacy to Mr. Kennedy and DX, Orton took charge by taking out Cena with his WWE Title belt and delivering the RKO out of nowhere to Kennedy onto the title belt. But just when Orton thought he was the last man standing, the United States Champion Big Show delivers a Knockout Punch to The Viper, leaving the World’s Largest Athlete standing tall to close out Raw. This week however, Big Show will be teaming up with the man he Knocked Out last week, Randy Orton to take on the team of Mr. Kennedy and the WWE Champion John Cena. With the WWE Champion and all three challenger choices in the main event, how explosive will this be just six days away from Cyber Sunday?

Speaking of Cyber Sunday, this Sunday we will see the third and final match between Batista and Matt Hardy. After months of attacking each other and matches ending with no real winner, we’re finally going to settle this when you the fans get to choose between three match types that are guaranteed to have a winner. But before they face each other, they’re going to have to team up! Last week after they’re brawl to the backstage area, General Manager Vickie Guerrero said she’s had enough of this and that they can’t fight until their match at Cyber Sunday. But with both men looking to rip each others’ heads off, how long will it take for this team to implode?

Last week on Raw, D-Generation X challenged Legacy to a Tag Team Title match at Cyber Sunday and they accepted. The match was set…except for one thing. General Manager Vickie Guerrero announced that there would be one more team added to that mix. Which team? Well that’s up to the fans to decide. All last week, we saw three qualifying matches. After all of those, we now know that The Colons, The Hart Dynasty, and Cryme Tyme will be the three teams you can choose from to be the third team in the Tag Team Title match. Who will join Priceless and DX in six days?

Confirmed Matches
-John Cena & Mr. Kennedy vs. Randy Orton & Big Show
-Batista & Matt Hardy vs. Goldust & Sim Snuka
-Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly
-The Brian Kendrick vs. Chavo Guerrero

Am excited for your upcomng raw. It looks to be the perfect build to Cyber Sunday with the 3 choices in the tag match with Cena. I hope Orton gets the pin and gets more votes for himself. Should be a good match

Batista/Hardy feud looks great cant wait to see what finishing touches you put on an already great fued before it comes to an end at Cyber Sunday. How will they coexist? They wont, lol

The Tag team situation is intersting maybe well see a triple threat tag to see the teams fight for some votes. I am intruiged to see how legacy will react.

Rest of the matches look meh, but ill be checking this up expect a review from me, good luck

Raw
October 19, 2009
Jacksonville, Florida

WWE Signature Video is shown.

A recap video from last week’s Raw is shown. It starts off with Orton coming out and telling the crowd they should vote for him at Cyber Sunday since he would give them the best match and their moneys worth. Big Show then comes out and tells the crowd to vote for him because he deserves it the most since he’s the most dominant superstar in the WWE today. Kennedy then comes out and says the fans should vote for him so their can be a fresh face in the WWE Title picture. Orton and Kennedy stare each other down until Orton hits the RKO out of nowhere on Big Show. Kennedy goes for a Mic Check but Orton manages to escape it and gets out of the ring. We then see clips from the six man tag team match featuring Legacy verses DX and Kennedy. We see the ending where Orton goes for the RKO on Kennedy, but Kennedy throws him off. Kennedy grabs Orton, delivers the Mic Check, and gets the three count. We then see clips from the main event match between Cena and Big Show in a champion verses champion match. We then see the ending where Cena delivers the Attitude Adjustment to Big Show. Cena goes for the STF, but Orton comes out and attacks Cena to end the match. Orton stalks Cena and delivers an RKO to him. Kennedy runs down and attacks Orton. Then Big Show gets up and grabs Kennedy by the throat, but Kennedy low blows Big Show and delivers a Mic Check to him. Priceless then comes out and attacks Kennedy. Priceless then holds Cena up as Orton takes the WWE Title and hits Cena in the head with it. Priceless grabs Kennedy for the same thing, but DX comes down, attacks Priceless and brawls with them through the crowd. Orton drops the title and is distracted by Priceless and DX as Kennedy gets up. Kennedy turns Orton around, but Orton hits a quick RKO on Kennedy onto the belt. Orton grabs the WWE Title and holds it high in the air, but then turns around and gets nailed with a Knockout Punch by Big Show. The video ends with Big Show grabbing the WWE Title and holding it high in the air as Cena, Kennedy, and Orton are laid out on the floor.

Raw Opening Video is shown as “Burn It To The Ground” by Nickelback plays.

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild.

Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Raw. We’re live here in Jacksonville, Florida as we get ready for Cyber Sunday.

King: That’s right. In just six days, it’s the most interactive pay per view of the year where you the fans get to vote on a stipulation for every single match! Oh that’s going to be such a fun night Michael!

Cole: Indeed it is King, but we still have a big night planned here tonight on Raw. Get this…we’re going to see Batista and Matt Hardy team up…yes TEAM UP tonight by orders of General Manager Vickie Guerrero. I wonder how that’s going to work out.

King: Those two are going to implode in a matter of seconds. But that’s not all Michael. Check this out. Our main event tonight features our WWE Champion and all three choices for his opponent this Sunday.

Cole: That’s right King. It’s going to be the WWE Champion John Cena teaming up with Mr. Kennedy to take on the United States Champion the Big Show and Randy Orton. That’s going to be a huge main event tonight. Who will gain momentum going into Cyber Sunday?

“The Time Is Now” by John Cena plays. The crowd cheers as John Cena makes his way down to the ring.

Lilian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the WWE Champion, John Cena!

King: And speaking of him, Michael…. The Champ Is Here!

Cole: What a way to kick off Monday Night Raw. The WWE Champion making his way out here. Cena is just six days away from defending his title, but the question is against who? You the fans will get to decide that.

King: Well Michael, let’s see what John Cena has to say to us.

Cena gets in the ring and grabs a microphone as the crowd chants “CENA!”

Cena: Wow! Thank you. Thank you. It’s always great to come out here and hear all of you chant my name. You know, some people in this business disrespect all of you…they say that none of you matter…that you’re all worthless and you should be thanking them.

The arena fills with boos.

Cena: Well none of that is true. All of you do matter! As a matter of fact, we should be thanking you the fans…because without all of you, we wouldn’t have jobs…there wouldn’t be a WWE. So thank you!

The fans clap and cheer.

Cena: That’s why I think Cyber Sunday is such a great event. It’s the one night of the year where we give you, all of our great fans, the power to pick the stipulations for every match. For some matches you’ll choose a Special Guest Referee…some matches you’ll choose the type of match…and in some cases, like my match, you’ll be choosing the opponent. In six days, I will defend the WWE Championship against the opponent that you the fans choose for me. I could be facing the World’s Largest Athlete, the current United States Champion, the Big Show…

The crowd boos for Big Show’s name.

Cena: I could be facing the cocky, loud mouthed young man with a bright future, Mr. Kennedy…

The crowd cheers for Kennedy’s name.

Cena: Or, I could be facing the man who I beat at No Mercy, Randy Orton.

The crowd boos for Orton’s name.

Cena: It’s going to be a tough challenge going into a title defense not knowing my challenger, but I’ve fought through the odds before. At Cyber Sunday, I’m going to give it my all for all of you! I WON’T BACK DOWN! I WON’T SURRENDER! And I WILL walk out STILL WWE CHAMPION!

Cena holds his WWE Title high as the crowd cheers. Just then, “Voices” by Rev Theory plays. Cena looks over and sees Orton walk out. The arena fills with boos as Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring. Orton gets into the ring and grabs a microphone.

Orton: So you think you’re walking out as the WWE Champion? Well you better pray that I don’t get voted in…because if I’m your opponent at Cyber Sunday, you’ll be kissing that title goodbye and the WWE Championship will finally come back to where it belongs.

Cena: You seem very confident for someone who has lost two title matches in the last two months.

Orton: Oh please. You and I both know that if it wasn’t for Mr. Kennedy I would be the WWE Champion right now. He didn’t belong in the Scramble Match at Unforgiven. You knew that which is why you locked in the STF on him and got a cheap victory. If it was anyone else in that STF, they would’ve held on the extra three seconds and I would’ve won. And then At No Mercy, I had you down and out…I HAD THE TITLE WON…until Mr. Overrated came down and attacked me, costing me the match and the WWE Title.

The crowd starts chanting “YOU SUCK!” towards Orton. Orton gets angry.

Orton: SHUT UP!

The arena fills with boos directed at Orton.

Cena: How do you expect to get voted in at Cyber Sunday when you just disrespect the fans all the time?

Orton: You see Cena, it doesn’t matter that these fans boo me or chant “You Suck” at me, because they know that I’m the only man that deserves a shot at the WWE Championship. They’re going to vote for me because they know it’s the right thing to do.

The crowd boos Orton heavily.

Orton: Deny it all you want, but you all know that deep down you agree with every single word I’m saying. I’m a true main eventer. I will give you your moneys worth. I deserve to be WWE Champion! Not Big Show and certainly not Mr. Kennedy.

Just then we hear “KENNEDY!” “Turn Up The Trouble” by Airbourne plays and Orton looks over at the titantron furious. The crowd cheers as Mr. Kennedy makes his way down to the ring. Kennedy gets into the ring and looks to grab a microphone, but stops and shakes his head no. Kennedy goes into the center of the ring, taunts, and raises his arm in the air as his trademark microphone drops from the ceiling into his hand. The crowd cheers as Orton looks on enraged.

Orton: What are you doing out here?!

Kennedy: Well for one, I’m out here to save everyone from hearing you wine and rant about your problems. Seriously, it’s the same crap over and over and over again, week in and week out.

The crowd cheers as Orton gets even angrier.

Kennedy: I’m getting sick of this routine by now. You come out and blame me for you losing at Unforgiven and No Mercy. Then I come out and defend myself by saying you punted me in the skull…blah, blah, blah, blah. I’m done with it! Now I wasn’t even going to come out here, but I heard you say something so hilarious that I just had to come out… If I’m not mistaken, you claimed that you deserve yet another shot at the WWE Title and that you were the only one worthy of a title shot out of the three choices for Cyber Sunday.

The crowd boos as Orton nods his head.

Orton: That’s not funny Ken….it’s the TRUTH! I am…

Kennedy: Oh wait a second. I’m not finished. That wasn’t even the best part. The best is that you….

Kennedy starts to laugh a bit and tries to regain his composure quickly.

Kennedy: I’m sorry. The best is that you believe that the fans want you to have another title shot because “they know that you deserve it.” Now that’s just ridiculous. Either you’re the first monotone robotic comedian or you’re delusional.

Orton: LOOK! Enough with the jokes! I’ve had enough with you Kennedy, and I’ve had enough with you Cena! I deserve that title shot more than anyone in the WWE and there is nothing either of you can say to refute that!

Kennedy gets in the face of Orton with a serious look on his face.

Kennedy: So you really think that? You think you deserve the title shot at Cyber Sunday over me? How about I bring up the fact that you’ve had your chance at gold many times before and recently you blew it? You’ve had so many title opportunities… I want mine. I haven’t had my big chance. I want my one-on-one opportunity at being the WWE Champion. It’s time for you to stop your whining and step down so someone new can get a title shot. You see Orton, that’s what people want to see. They want to see the future in action. They want new faces….and that’s ME! So at Cyber Sunday Randy… these great fans are going to vote in the man who is more deserving than you and Big Show combined…

Kennedy turns to Cena.

Kennedy: And the man who will become the NEXT WWE CHAMPION….. MISTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Kennedy stops and gets right in the face of Orton.

Kennedy: KENNEDY!

Just then, “Crank It Up” by Brand New Sin then plays. The crowd boos as Big Show makes his way to the ring. Big Show gets into the ring and grabs a microphone.

Big Show: So let me get this straight. You two both think that you’re the most deserving of the title shot at Cyber Sunday? You’re joking right? Have you even been watching Raw lately? If anyone deserves a shot at the WWE Title, IT’S ME!

The crowd boos as Orton and Kennedy shake their heads in disagreement.

Big Show: I’m currently the most dominant superstar in the entire WWE. At No Mercy, I won the United States Title and sidelined MVP for a long, long time. And then last week at the end of Raw, I was left standing tall as all three of you were laid out in the ring. Now that’s dominance! You know it and the fans know it, which is why they’re going to vote for me in six days. And when I do get voted in at Cyber Sunday, Cena… you’re going to be joining MVP, and I will stand tall as both your UNITED STATES AND NEW WWE CHAMPION!

Cena: ALRIGHT! ENOUGH OF THIS! You guys want to prove to the fans you deserve a shot at me…then PROVE IT, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!

All four men look ready to fight and the crowd is going wild.

Vickie: EXCUSE ME!

Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero comes out onto the titantron with a microphone and the arena fills with boos.

Vickie: I SAID EXCUSE ME!

The fans boo even louder and the four men in the ring turn around towards her.

Vickie: Gentlemen, there will be no fighting in that ring right now. Save it for our main event tag team match later tonight. So I suggest that the four of you make you way out of that ring, up this ramp, and to the back so we can get this show going. Thank you!

Cena, Kennedy, Orton, and Big Show all stare each other down but lower their guards. Orton and Big Show leave the ring first. They walk up the ramp backwards looking on at Cena and Kennedy, who are standing in the ring staring right back at them.

King: Wow what a way to kick off Raw. Thank god Vickie Guerrero came out here. All four of these guys looked like they were going to rip each other’s heads off.

Cole: Well they’ll have to save it for the main event tonight, when John Cena and Mr. Kennedy take on the Big Show and Randy Orton. Stay tuned for more Monday Night Raw when we return here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Man With A Plan” by Chapel Of Rock plays. The crowd boos as The Brian Kendrick makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Venice, California, weighing in at 184 pounds, The Brian Kendrick.

Cole: Welcome back everyone to Monday Night Raw as we get ready for our opening contest. And here comes the very cocky and brash The Brian Kendrick.

King: I like this guy. The Brian Kendrick has all the tools to make it far. I talked to him earlier and he said that he’s determined to become the next United States Champion. I think he can do it.

Cole: There’s no doubt that Kendrick has the skills and charisma to become a star. He’s already a former Tag Team Champion. Kendrick knows what it’s like to have gold, but does he really think he can beat the Big Show? If he does, he’s even cockier than I thought.

“Chavito Ardiente” plays. The crowd cheers as Chavo Guerrero makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: And his opponent, from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 215 pounds, Chavo Guerrero.

Cole: And here comes Chavo Guerrero, part of the legendary Guerrero family. Like The Brain Kendrick, Chavo Guerrero is also striving for a United States Title shot.

King: Yeah but like Chavo has a chance. If you think Kendrick has no chance then why would Chavo? The Brian Kendrick is obviously much better than Chavo Guerrero.

Cole: How can you say that King? Chavo is a former ECW Champion and Tag Team Champion. Not to mention that two weeks ago on WWE Superstars, Chavo and Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz and The Brain Kendrick in a tag team match. Well anyway, with a win here, either man could propel themselves into United States Title contention.

The Brian Kendrick vs. Chavo Guerrero

The match starts off with Kendrick taunting around the ring. Kendrick then goes up to Chavo and slaps him in the face. Chavo quickly fires back with a furry of punches. The match progresses as an even battle between both competitors. Towards the end of the match, Kendrick is in control of the match. Kendrick grabs Chavo, lifts him up, and drives him into his knee for a gutbuster. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Kendrick gets right up and starts stomping on Chavo. Kendrick then backs up and taunts as he yells at Chavo to get up. Chavo slowly starts to get up, but Kendrick stops that by running at him and delivering a pin-point and loud dropkick to the side of the head of Chavo. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out again. Kendrick starts to get a little frustrated. Kendrick then goes to the top rope and taunts as he waits for Chavo to get to his feet. Kendrick jumps off the top rope, going for a missile dropkick, but Chavo just moves out of the way, making Kendrick crash and burn. Chavo lifts Kendrick up and goes to irish whip him, but Kendrick reverses and tosses Chavo off the ropes. Kendrick goes for a dropkick but he jumps too early since Chavo holds onto the ropes to avoid the contact. Chavo grabs Kendrick’s legs and flips over for a jackknife cover, 1…2…Kendrick kicks out.

Both men get up quickly. Kendrick runs at Chavo, but Chavo counters by delivering a tilt-a-whirl slam to Kendrick to get on the offensive. Chavo gets back to his feet and lifts Kendrick up as the crowd is really getting behind him. Chavo sets Kendrick up for the Gory Bomb, but before Chavo can plant him, Kendrick flips through for a sunset flip. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Both men get to their feet at the same time, but Kendrick takes advantage with a quick kick to the gut. Kendrick grabs Chavo by the head and looks to be going for The Kendrick, but Chavo shoves Kendrick off of him and crashing into the corner. Kendrick stumbles out of the corner. Chavo turns Kendrick around and delivers the THREE AMIGOS triple vertical suplexs. After the third suplex, Chavo gets up, looks down at Kendrick and looks up at the corner. Chavo taunts and goes to the top rope as the crowd goes wild. Chavo jumps off the top rope and goes for the FROG SPLASH, but Kendrick manages to just get his KNEES UP. Chavo lands right on Kendrick’s knees, getting drilled right in the gut. Chavo is holding his gut in pain as Kendrick quickly reaches up from the ground and gets Chavo in a SMALL PACKAGE, 1…2…3 KENDRICK WINS the match!

Winner: The Brian Kendrick

Lilian: Here is your winner, The Brian Kendrick!

Kendrick dances around the ring taunting as the crowd boos him. Kendrick then stops as he sees Chavo starting to get up. Kendrick goes over to Chavo and kicks him in the gut. Kendrick grabs Chavo’s head and delivers THE KENDRICK to him. Kendrick gets right up and starts stomping Chavo as he’s yelling at him. Just then, the crowd cheers as SANTINO MARELLA runs down to the ring. Kendrick turns around and gets taken down by Santino with a tackle. Santino mounts Kendrick and starts punching him rapidly. All of a sudden, the crowd boos as WILLIAM REGAL makes his way down to the ring. Santino stops punching Kendrick and starts to turn around, but Regal hits him with a KNEE TREMBLER, knocking Santino out. Kendrick uses the ropes to get back to his feet as Regal stares at Kendrick. Kendrick looks up at Regal with a bit of a smirk but also a confused look on his face. Kendrick then decides to get out of the ring and walks up the ramp. Regal stands tall in the ring over Chavo and Santino as the arena fills with boos.

King: What chaos out here. First Santino comes down to help out Chavo, and then William Regal comes out to… well I guess to just make an impact. It sure didn’t seem like he came out here to help Kendrick.

Cole: And I’m sure this isn’t the last time we’ll see these four interact with one another, as all four of them are looking to become the next United States Champion…Although, that won’t be an easy task. Well don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw right here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“It’s A New Day” by Adelitas Way plays. The crowd boos as Priceless make their way to the ring.

Lilian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless.

Cole: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Raw. And here come the current reigning Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, but that could all come to an end this Sunday.

King: Well I hate to say it, but you may be right Michael. As great of a tag team as Priceless is, the odds are simply stacked against them. Not only will they not know one of the challenging teams until they get out to the ring, but they don’t even have to be pinned in order to lose the titles.

Cole: For those of you who may not know, in six days at Cyber Sunday, Priceless will defend their Tag Team Titles in a triple threat tag team match against D-Generation X and a team of your choosing. Last week, we found out the three teams that would be the choices. They are The Colons, Cryme Tyme, and The Hart Dynasty.

Priceless get in the ring and grab microphones as the crowd continues to boo.

DiBiase: Last week here on Raw, we were told that at Cyber Sunday we would have to defend out Tag Team Titles against not just one, but two teams. You see, we had just accepted DX’s challenge, when Vickie Guerrero tells us that the other teams on all three brands are complaining about getting a shot. So she decides to not only add another team to our match, but make it so you pathetic fans get to choose who will get a shot at our titles.

The crowd boos.

Rhodes: Now any other team in our situation would have panicked and started to doubt themselves…But not us! Instead, Ted and I sat ringside on ECW, WWE Superstars, and Smackdown to find out who our three possible opponents would be. We scouted the competition and we’ve been working on our strategy all week for ever possible voting outcome. Now that’s why we’re the greatest tag team today…And that’s why we’re going to win come this Sunday. None of our opponents stand a chance against us…In fact, let’s go through all of our opponents…

A picture of The Colons comes up on the titantron and the crowd cheers.

DiBiase: First we have Carlito and Primo, The Colons. These two are former Tag Team Champions and in fact the first ever Unified Tag Team Champions. But I feel like they’re known for something else…..hmmm……Oh yeah. They’re also the team that we beat for the Tag Team Championship….Not to mention that in the last two months we’ve beaten them not once…but TWICE! They’re no threat to us. We could easily beat them a third time. Next…

A picture of The Hart Dynasty comes up on the titantron and the crowd boos.

Rhodes: Next we have The Hart Dynasty….Probably the only team in this mix that we have respect for. They were built to be great. David Hart Smith is the son of the British Bulldog…and Tyson Kidd is the protégé of Hall Of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart. This team has a bright future…just this is the present, not the future. They have the skills to be champions one day… but as long as we’re holding the titles, they don’t stand a chance! Who’s the next team?

A picture of Cryme Tyme comes up on the titantron and the crowd cheers.

DiBiase: Next we have Cryme Tyme. What to say about these two? Well they’ve been here in the WWE longer than us, yet they’ve never won the Tag Team Titles before. That just shows how good of a team they are. These two are nothing but street thugs that get lucky every once in awhile. Two weeks ago, technically they beat us. But let’s add in the fact that Cody was viciously attacked earlier that week and suffered a minor concussion, yet he still competed. That was the only reason Cryme Tyme won. If they faced us right now, we’d beat them faster than they can rob a convenience store. So they’re not even close to a threat.

A picture of DX comes up on the titantron and the crowd cheers.

Rhodes: And of course…there’s D-Generation X…the only team that we know for sure that we’ll be taking on this Sunday. Now DX thinks that they have our number because they “beat us” at No Mercy…. Look DX… that win was nothing but a fluke! Ted and I were all set for you Triple H to forfeit when you didn’t come out. But then you two come out and the referee just allows it to happen when he had already told us we were going to win by forfeit. So we see that as a tainted victory. So at Cyber Sunday, the two of you immature degenerates are going to get the beating that you should’ve gotten at No Mercy!

Just then we hear “ARE YOU READY?!” “Break It Down” by Chris Warren plays. The crowd goes wild as DX comes down to the ring. Priceless don’t look too happy about DX coming out. DX gets into the ring and they each grab microphones.

Rhodes: Speak of the devil….What are you two doing out here? You couldn’t wait until this Sunday to get your asses handed to you?

Triple H: Ha, funny Cody… No, we’re out here because we couldn’t stand hearing you guys spew your crap anymore.

Priceless get angry as the crowd cheers in agreement with Triple H.

HBK: The two of you…week in and week out, talk about how our win over you was a fluke and how you two can beat us and time anywhere. Now in six days, we’ll be fighting with another team for those Tag Team Titles…. But why wait for Sunday? Let’s settle this RIGHT NOW!

The crowd goes wild.

DiBiase: You want a piece of us? …… Well that’s just TOO DAMN BAD!

The crowd boos in disappointment.

Rhodes: You two will just have to wait until Sunday because we’re not fighting tonight!

Priceless are about to leave the ring, when all of a sudden General Manager Vickie Guerrero comes out onto the stage.

Vickie: EXCUSE ME!

The crowd heavily boos Vickie after seeing her for the second time tonight.

Vickie: Rhodes… DiBiase… you two stay right where you are. You’re right…you’re not going to be fighting DX tonight, but you are going to be fighting tonight. You see, one team came up to me backstage and requested a match against you… In fact, it’s one of the teams that could possibly join the four of you this Sunday.

“Cool” plays. The crowd cheers as Carlito and Primo walk out and make their way down to the ring. Priceless have angry looks on their faces as they look back and forth at DX in the ring and The Colons coming down the ramp.

Cole: Well Priceless does seem too happy about this decision. Just six days before they’re title defense, Priceless will take on The Colons for the third time in the past two months. That match will happen when we return to Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Priceless vs. The Colons

The match begins with Rhodes and Carlito starting it out for their teams. Rhodes looks over at DX, who are at ringside on commentary, and yells at them. Rhodes turns around and gets caught with a flying forearm strike by Carlito to start things off. The match continues as an even match with a few tag outs for each team. Towards the end of the match, Rhodes and Primo are the two legal men, with Rhodes in control. Rhodes lifts Primo up and delivers a backbreaker to him near a corner. Rhodes goes to the top rope and goes for a moonsault, but Primo moves out of the way just in time, causing Rhodes to crash to the mat. Primo starts crawling to his corner as the crowd tries to will him on. Rhodes manages to reach over and grab Primo’s leg, preventing him from crawling any further. Rhodes stands up with Primo’s leg still in hand. Primo stands up on one leg and then spins around delivering an enzuigiri to Rhodes. Rhodes and Primo crawl slowly to their respective corners. Rhodes tags in DiBiase just as Primo tags in Carlito. Both men run into the ring. DiBiase goes for a clothesline right away, but Carlito ducks it. Carlito turns DiBiase around and starts punching him. Carlito goes to toss DiBiase off the ropes, but DiBiase reverses it and tosses Carlito off the ropes. Carlito springboards off the ropes and connects with a back elbow strike to DiBiase. Carlito grabs DiBiase and hits a SNAP SWINGING NECKBREAKER. Carlito goes for the cover, 1…2…Rhodes gets into the ring and BREAKS UP THE PIN just in time.

Rhodes grabs Carlito and pulls off a snap DDT. Primo then runs into the ring and starts delivering rapid forearm shots to Rhodes. Primo then quickly delivers a dropkick that sends Rhodes back to the ropes. Primo gets a head full of steam and charges at Rhodes, but Rhodes counters by back body dropping Primo over the top rope and to the outside floor. Rhodes goes to the outside and picks up Primo. Rhodes then tosses Primo ACROSS THE ANNOUNCE TABLE and onto the lap of Triple H. HBK gets up and goes to the side of the ring to get out of the way of his angry partner. Triple H gets up fuming and gets right in the face of Rhodes. The referee notices this and warns Triple H not to hit him or it’ll be a disqualification. As the referee is distracted with this, back in the ring DiBiase is up and stalking Carlito as he slowly gets to his feet. DiBiase grabs Carlito from behind setting up for Dream Street, but all of a sudden, HBK slides into the ring, delivers SWEET CHIN MUSIC right to DiBiase, and then quickly gets out before the referee turned back around. DiBiase is stunned on his feet by the kick and Carlito takes advantage quickly by delivering the BACKSTABBER to DiBiase. The cover, 1…2…3 THE COLONS WIN the match!

Winners: The Colons

Lilian: Here are your winners, Primo and Carlito, The Colons!

After the match, Carlito rolls to the outside and helps Primo back to his feet. The two walk up the ramp and celebrate as the crowd cheers for them. Back in the ring, Rhodes slides in to check on his partner DiBiase. Rhodes then gets in the referee’s face and yells at him saying HBK had interfered, but the referee didn’t see anything. As Rhodes is arguing, Triple H and HBK get into the ring and stand on either side of Rhodes. Rhodes turns towards HBK. HBK goes for Sweet Chin Music, but Rhodes quickly steps back and turns around to avoid it. But unfortunately for Rhodes, he turns around right into Triple H, who kicks Rhodes in the gut and delivers a PEDIGREE to him. DX then leave the ring and walk up the ramp backwards, looking at Priceless laid out in the ring. DX taunts to the crowd and the crowd goes wild for them.

King: DX came out here to shut Priceless up and send a message to them, and I think they did just that!

Cole: That they did! Priceless cannot be happy about what just transpired here. Not only do they lose to The Colons but they both get taken out by DX. Well we’ll see how they react to that. Anyway, still to come tonight is our huge main event where we’ll see WWE Champion John Cena and Mr. Kennedy take on Randy Orton and the United States Champion Big Show. Stay tuned for more Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial, we see General Manager Vickie Guerrero in her office. Just then, we see Matt Hardy storm into the room extremely angry.

Vickie: Matt. How can I help you?

Matt: Well you can tell me why I’m teaming with Batista tonight. Are you kidding me Vickie?! Why in the world would you team the two of us together?!

Vickie: Calm down Matt. Now I told you two last week that I don’t want the two of you fighting until Cyber Sunday. So since I wanted the both of you in action tonight, I figured I’d just put you two as a team. I think it’ll make things…interesting.

Matt: Interesting? The only thing interesting about this is to see how long it takes until we implode and Batista attacks me like the crazed maniac he is.

Vickie: Now Matt, like I said, both of you can’t fight each other until your big match in six days. That’s why you’re a team. Teams don’t fight. You’ll just have to work together tonight.

Matt: And what if I just decide to… not fight? Then what?

Vickie: Oh you’re fighting tonight Matt, whether you want to or not. You see if either of you hits the other before, during, or after the match... or if either of you decide not to fight in the match… well then I’ll be forced to take action.

Matt: What type of “action?”

Vickie: Well it can range anywhere from a slap on the wrists… to a suspension. Don’t make me choose which Matt. Just go out there and do what you’re supposed to. Ok?

Matt looks displeased. Matt then turns and walks out of the room in a huff as Vickie looks on shaking her head.

King: Well Matt doesn’t seem to be too happy about how that conversation went.

Cole: King, how are these two possibly going to work together? I guess we’ll find out later tonight.

We then cut backstage to see Randy Orton and the Big Show in the locker room discussing strategy.

Orton: Ok, so you got it?

Big Show: Yeah I got it.

Orton: Good because as long as we can work together tonight, we can accomplish everything we need to. We have common goals tonight. We both want a win so that we can gain more votes… We both want to soften up John Cena… And I know that both of us wouldn’t mind if we took out Mr. Kennedy.

Big Show: Exactly. Tonight…we work together to make sure we beat Cena and Kennedy. But Randy… if the opportunity arises to make an impact…don’t think I won’t take it…because I know you would.

Big Show and Orton stare each other down as we fade to commercial.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we return from commercial break, we hear “Gold-Lust” playing in the background as we see Goldust and Sim Snuka standing in the ring.

Lilian: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. In the ring, at a combined weight of 495 pounds, Sim Snuka and Goldust.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. Goldust and Sim Snuka in the ring as we get ready for tag team action coming up next. These two hoping to redeem themselves after losing their Cyber Sunday qualifying match last week. Let’s see if they can do it.

“Live For The Moment” by Monster Magnet plays. The crowd boos as Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: Their opponents, first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 236 pounds, Matt Hardy.

King: Well this might not be the best week to try and redeem themselves. They’re going to be facing two tough, yet explosive opponents here tonight. And here comes one of them, “The Black Cloud” Matt Hardy.

Cole: We saw Matt earlier tonight complaining to our General Manager about having to team with Batista here in this match. Vickie said “too bad. You have to compete or else there will be consequences.” Boy does Matt not look happy to be out here right now.

King: Can you blame him? Matt must be dreading having to team with the man he’s had such a huge rivalry with these past few months. But with the final match between them in six days, I’m sure Matt will use this match to show Batista what he’ll do to him this Sunday.

“I Walk Alone” by Saliva plays. The crowd cheers as Batista makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: And his partner, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 290 pounds, Batista.

Cole: Matt may not be the only one doing that King. I’m sure Batista is going to be showing Matt what it’ll be like for him this Sunday. Remember ladies and gentlemen, Matt Hardy and Batista, by orders of Vickie Guerrero, cannot fight until this Sunday in what will be their final match against each other.

King: Well we’ve seen these two fight each other in the ring, ringside, backstage, everywhere. Both men have so much hatred and rage built up inside of them right now. That’s why I said earlier I’d hate to be Sim Snuka and Goldust right now.

Cole: Don’t forget this Sunday, you the fans get to vote what match Batista and Matt Hardy will fight in. It’ll either be a Lumberjack match, Steel Cage match, or Falls Count Anywhere match. But right now let’s see if Matt and Batista can contain themselves and not implode. This is going to be interesting.

Batista & Matt Hardy vs. Goldust & Sim Snuka

The match starts off with Batista and Matt Hardy staring each other down in their corner. The referee comes over and tells them that one of them needs to get out so they can start the match. Matt and Batista argue a bit about who’s going to start. Matt keeps yelling at Batista that he wants to start, until Batista gives in and gets out of the ring. Matt turns around and gets ready to start the match off with Snuka, but Batista reaches out and tags himself in. Matt turns around yelling at Batista “What The Hell!” The referee comes over and tells Matt he has to get out and after some arguing, Matt gets on the apron as Batista looks back and smirks at Matt. Batista and Snuka lock up in the center of the ring. They both let go and Snuka punches Batista in the face. Batista shakes it off and delivers a massive clothesline to Snuka. Snuka gets back to his feet and locks up again with Batista. Batista shoves Snuka off of him and at the ropes. Snuka comes back off the ropes and connects with a dropkick that sends Batista stumbling back. Snuka runs off the ropes again at Batista, but this time Batista catches Snuka with a spinning sidewalk slam. Snuka clutches his back and rolls over to his corner. Goldust tags himself in the match.

Goldust comes in and locks up with Batista. They let go and Batista goes for a punch, but Goldust ducks it. Goldust then connects with a few punches to Batista. Goldust runs off the ropes at Batista, but Batista connects with a flapjack to Goldust, planting him face first onto the mat. Batista then sits Goldust up, runs off the ropes, and delivers a boot right to the face of Goldust. Batista lifts Goldust up and tosses him into a corner. Batista looks over at Matt and then charges at Goldust in the corner with a huge clothesline. Batista then delivers a few shoulder blocks to the gut of Goldust in the corner. Batista steps back and Goldust stumbles out of the corner. Batista grabs Goldust and delivers a huge SPINE BUSTER to him! Batista gets up and starts to get pumped up. Batista does his rope taunt and the crowd goes crazy! Batista then goes over to Matt in the corner and does the thumbs down taunt right in his face. The two stare each other down for a second until Batista turns around to go after Goldust, but Matt quickly manages to tag himself in. Matt gets in the ring and Batista looks angry. Matt stares down Batista and then runs over to the opposite corner and knocks Snuka off the apron. Matt then lifts Goldust up, taunts, and then delivers the TWIST OF FATE! Matt goes for the cover, 1…2…3 MATT AND BATISTA WIN the match!

Winners: Batista & Matt Hardy

Lilian: Here are your winners, Batista and Matt Hardy!

Right as Matt Hardy gets up from the pinfall, he turns around into an angry Batista. The two stare each other down. Batista then turns his head and sees Sim Snuka in the ring. Batista looks up at Matt for a quick second giving him a glare and then turns and delivers a massive Spear to Snuka. Batista lifts Snuka up as he stares right at Matt Hardy. Batista then sets up and delivers a Batista Bomb to Snuka. Batista gets up and gets right in the face of Matt and says “That’s going to be you this Sunday!” The two stare each other down intensely as the crowd goes crazy.

King: Well just as we predicted Michael, they used Goldust and Snuka to show each other what they’re going to do to the other this Sunday. I can’t wait for these two to get it on one last time and finally settle this rivalry.

Cole: Look at this stare down King. You just know that they’re holding back with everything they’ve got. And in six days at Cyber Sunday we will see them face off for the third time and this time we will have a winner. I’m really looking forward to this one! Well don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw when we return.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we return to Raw, we see Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase walking backstage hurt and angry. Rosa Mendes, Raw’s backstage reporter, catches up to them.

Rosa: Cody. Ted. I just wanted to ask you two how you feel about going into your match this Sunday after just losing to one of your possible opponents.

Rhodes and DiBiase look at Rosa in disgust.

Rhodes: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Tonight we got cheated out of our match thanks to the two most immature middle-aged degenerates, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. We had The Colons beat for the third time in the past two months. But then DX blatantly interferes in our match and caused us to lose to a team that doesn’t deserve to be in the same ring as us.

DiBiase: DX…you two think that you got the last laugh? Well you’re sadly mistaken. You see, we talked to Vickie Guerrero. We suggested to her that you two have a “tune up” match just like us. Vickie agreed with us. So she talked to ECW General Manager Tommy Dreamer and it’s official. This Thursday on WWE Superstars, the two of you will take on the only team that deserves to be in our match at Cyber Sunday, THE HART DYNASTY. So guys…good luck with that!

Rhodes: And as far as this Sunday goes…it doesn’t matter what happened tonight or even what third team is chosen to compete in our match. Ted and I guarantee that we’ll walk out STILL the Tag Team Champions. Because we are the greatest tag team in the WWE today! We are simply…PRICELESS!

Rhodes and DiBiase walk away with stern faces.

King: Wow! What an announcement we just heard. D-Generation X verses The Hart Dynasty! I can’t wait for that!

Cole: That match will happen this Thursday on WWE Superstars. Don’t miss it!

We cut backstage and see The Miz waiting in front of the diva’s locker room. Miz knocks on the door a few times.

Miz: MARYSE!

The door opens and Miz has a smile on his face, but it’s quickly wiped off his face when he sees Kelly Kelly walk out. MIz looks at Kelly in disgust and disappointment.

Miz: Oh…it’s you.

Kelly: You do know Miz that this is the diva’s locker room, right? I mean, I know you’ve been known to cross the line of metro-sexual and all…

Miz doesn’t look amused.

Miz: Ha ha. Very funny Kelly. I’m surprised a dumb blonde like you knows what metro-sexual means.

Kelly: What do you want Miz?

Miz: Where’s Maryse? I want to talk to her.

Kelly: I don’t know. I didn’t see her in there. She must have left for the ring for our match up next. It wouldn’t matter anyway though. Maryse doesn’t want to talk to you.

Miz: What? Why wouldn’t she want to talk to me, The Miz?

Kelly: She’s not interested in you Miz… not in the slightest. It’s so obvious. She’s even told you on several occasions that it’ll never happen. But I guess your ego is so big that it won’t let you see that.

Miz: Oh I see what this is all about… You’re jealous. You want a piece of The Miz. Can’t say that I blame you. That’s the curse of being a Chick Magnet. I hate to burst your bubble Kelly, but us… it’s never going to happen.

Kelly rolls her eyes.

Kelly: There’s no talking to you, is there? Your ego just takes over rational thinking. I’m going to say this very clearly Miz so listen up. MARYSE… DOESN’T… LIKE… YOU! And as far as you little theory about us goes, I wouldn’t go out with you if you were the last man on Earth. You’re nothing but a self-absorbed annoying loser who thinks he’s way hotter than he actually is.

Miz: Really Kelly?! Really?! Because as I recall, if it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t be here right now. When I managed you in Extreme Exposé, I took you from a nothing exotic dancer and made you into a Diva! So as far as I’m concerned, you should be thanking me and praising me for all I’ve done for you. Because without me…you’d be NOTHING! But instead of being nice to me, you tortured me when I managed you. And then you demanded to go off on your own… Oh yeah, how’s that working out for you?

Kelly looks at Miz angrily.

Miz: And you called me a loser? Well for your information, since then I’ve become a two time Tag Team Champion… a two time Slammy Award Winner… the host of the greatest WWE.com show ever, The Dirt Sheet… and it’s just a matter of time before I become the United States Champion. And what have you done?.... NOTHING!

Kelly: Well Miz… I can sit here and tell you how John Morrison carried you to those accomplishments and how you’ll never become the United States Champion, but I have a match to attend to.

Kelly goes to leave but then stops.

Kelly: Oh and I hope you’re watching… because after I defeat your crush Maryse, I’ll be first in line for a Diva’s Title match. And after I win the Diva’s Title from Maryse… we’ll see who the nothing is!

Kelly walks away as Miz looks on with an angry face.

Cole: Well up next, it’s Kelly Kelly taking on the Diva’s Champion Maryse, live here on Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Pourquoi?” plays. The crowd boos as Maryse makes her way to the ring.

Lilian: The following divas contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the Diva’s Champion, Maryse.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw, and King are you ready for some diva action?

King: Oh you don’t have to ask me twice Michael! And here comes the lovely Maryse, carrying her Diva’s Championship. So far nobody has been able to take that title off of her.

Cole: Well Mickie James is still gunning after Maryse and the Diva’s Title. Mickie wants to become the first diva ever to have held both the Women’s and Diva’s Championship. But Maryse is not making that goal easy on her.

“Holla” by Desiree Jackson plays. The crowd cheers as Kelly Kelly makes her way to the ring.

Lilian: And her opponent, from Jacksonville, Florida, Kelly Kelly.

Cole: And here comes the lovely Kelly Kelly. And before the commercial break, we saw Kelly get into a verbal altercation with The Miz about their careers and Miz’s “crush” on Maryse.

King: Yeah, Miz just wanted to talk to Maryse, but Kelly kept trying to tell Miz that Maryse clearly isn’t interested in him and that she’s told him several times.

Cole: No love lost between Kelly and Miz. As Miz said, he used to manage Kelly in Extreme Expose, but Kelly hated Miz so much that she finally broke away from him. You can’t deny Miz’s accomplishments since then, but I disagree with Miz about Kelly. I think Kelly has really improved and she can prove Miz wrong tonight with a huge win over the Diva’s Champion Maryse.

Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly

The match starts off with Maryse taunting like Kelly isn’t even in her league. The two divas lock up and Maryse gets the advantage. The match progresses as an evenly contested match between the two divas. Towards the end, Maryse is in control of the match. Maryse lifts Kelly up and delivers a nice backbreaker to her. Maryse goes for the cover, 1…2…Kelly just manages to get the shoulder up in time. Kelly rolls over on her side, holding her back in pain. Maryse then gets up and kicks Kelly straight in the back, rolling Kelly over on her stomach. Maryse then gets on Kelly and locks in a Camel Clutch. Maryse yells at Kelly, flinging her head back and forth, and then slams her head hard to the mat. Maryse gets up and taunts to the crowd as the arena fills with boos. Maryse then picks Kelly up as she trash talks her right in her face. Maryse slaps Kelly in the face hard, making the crowd gasp. Maryse then sets up and goes for a clothesline, but Kelly ducks it. Maryse turns around right into a dropkick by Kelly. Kelly gets up holding her cheek and looks to have a fire in her eyes. Kelly goes to irish whip Maryse, but Maryse reverses it, sending Kelly off the ropes. As Kelly comes back, Maryse goes for a sidewalk slam, but Kelly reverses it into a Headscissors Takedown!

Both divas get to their feet and Kelly kicks Maryse in the gut. Kelly tosses Maryse into a corner and then taunts to the crowd, who is behind her. Kelly runs and does her BACK HANDSPRINGS towards the corner, ending with an ELBOW SMASH right to the face of Maryse! Kelly gets up and starts taunting to the crowd. The crowd goes crazy as Kelly stalks Maryse, just waiting for her to get up. Just then, THE MIZ makes his way down to the ringside area and the crowd boos heavily. Kelly turns around and sees Miz on the outside. She yells at him to get out of here, but Miz stays and says he’s just watching the match. Maryse gets up and takes advantage of the distraction by grabbing Kelly from behind and tossing her into the corner so that Kelly’s shoulder slams into the ring post. Kelly stumbles out of the corner backwards, holding her shoulder in pain. Maryse turns Kelly around, sets her up, and delivers the FRENCH KISS to her! Maryse gets on top of her for the cover, 1…2…3 MARYSE WINS the match!

Winner: Maryse

Lilian: Here is your winner, Maryse!

Maryse gets to her feet and looks out at The Miz. Miz looks at Maryse smirking. All of a sudden, KOFI KINGSTON comes down the ramp and attacks Miz on the outside! Kofi punches away at Miz as the crowd goes crazy! Miz tries to squirm away, but Kofi manages to keep a hold on Miz. Kofi then tosses Miz into the barricade by the ramp and continues to attack Miz. Maryse looks a little concerned and hesitates at first, but she gets out of the ring and goes over by Kofi and Miz. Maryse yells at Kofi to stop it. Kofi stops and turns towards Maryse for a second. Miz takes advantage of that momentary distraction by getting up, quickly grabbing Kofi and tossing him hard INTO THE STEEL STEPS nearby. Miz looks over at Maryse and smiles at her. Maryse almost cracks a smile at first, but then she puts her hand up and walks away like she didn’t do anything for Miz.

King: What a unique sequence of events that just happened here. First, Miz comes out and distracts Kelly to help his “crush” Maryse pick up the win. And then Kofi comes out to try and settle the score with Miz for cost him his match last week and then attacking him afterwards.

Cole: But then, oddly enough, after weeks of saying she hates The Miz… Maryse goes over and helps Miz by distracting Kofi for a split second. That momentary distraction allowed Miz to take control and take out Kofi.

King: And did you see Maryse after that Michael? It looked like she almost smiled at Miz like she was happy she could help him. Is Maryse changing her mind about The Miz?

Cole: I don’t know King? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Well still to come tonight is our huge main event tag team match. It’s the WWE Champion John Cena teaming with Mr. Kennedy to take on Randy Orton and the United States Champion Big Show. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, we here in the background “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise playing.

King: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. We’d like to thank Dead By Sunrise for “Inside Of Me” which is the official theme song for Cyber Sunday. And this Sunday at the most interactive pay per view of the year, the power will be inside of all of you, when you the fans get to vote on a stipulation for ever match!

Cole: That’s right King, and what a card we have for this Sunday. First, we’re going to see the Tag Team Titles on the line in a triple threat tag team match-up. It’ll be the current champions Priceless taking on D-Generation X and the team that you the fans choose. Last week we found out that the three choices will be The Colons, The Hart Dynasty, and Cryme Tyme. Which of these three teams will join the fray? And with it being one fall to a finish, it really is at the disadvantage for Priceless. Which team will walk out the Tag Team Champions?

King: Well Batista and Matt Hardy have been fighting for months now. It all started when Matt Hardy attacked Batista because he believed he deserved to be in the spotlight more than him. At Unforgiven we saw them face off but it ended in disqualification. Then they faced off again at No Mercy, but it ended in a no contest when Hardy ran away. They’re going to face off one more time at Cyber Sunday and you the fans get to choose the match type. Will you choose a Lumberjack Match, a Steel Cage Match, or a Falls Count Anywhere Match? Our General Manager Vickie Guerrero hand picked three match types so that we’re guaranteed a winner this time. Who will win in the third and final time these two will face off?

Cole: And of course our main event will be for the WWE Championship. The champion John Cena will defend his title against the opponent that you the fans vote for. Will it be Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, or the United States Champion Big Show? We heard from all three men last week on why you should vote for them. Now it’s up to you the fans to decide who you think deserves a title match against John Cena. Who will Cena step into the ring with in six days?

King: And speaking of all of them, we’re moments away from seeing our huge tag team main event involving the WWE Champion and his three possible opponents. I can’t wait for that!

We cut backstage to see John Cena getting ready for his match up next. Mr. Kennedy then comes into the frame and pats Cena on the back.

Kennedy: You ready?

Cena stands up.

Cena: Yeah I’m ready. Let’s shut up Big Show and Randy Orton once and for all.

Kennedy: Alright! Just one more thing…. Tonight we may be tagging up…and yes I have respect for you….but at Cyber Sunday, when I get voted in by the fans… I’m going to be taking that WWE Championship from you!

Cena picks up the WWE Title belt and holds it up by Kennedy.

Cena: Well Kennedy…. We’ll see about that! But I will say one thing. I do hope that you get voted in. And if you do…

Cena holds his hand out.

Cena: May the best man win.

Kennedy looks down at Cena’s hand and then at the WWE Title. Kennedy then shakes Cena’s hand.

Kennedy: Alright… but that’s in six days. Let’s go out there now and kick some ass!

Cena and Kennedy leave the locker room to go to the ring.

Cole: It’ll be John Cena and Mr. Kennedy taking on Randy Orton and the Big Show. Our main event is up next, when we return to Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Voices” by Rev Theory plays. The crowd boos as Randy Orton makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, Randy Orton.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw and it’s time now for our main event. And as you can see, Randy Orton making his way down to the ring. And King, look at the intense look on Orton’s face. He’s focused right now.

King: Well we heard Orton earlier saying that tonight’s match is huge for many reasons. A win here can give him momentum and possibly even more votes from our fans for Cyber Sunday. If Orton wins, the fans could see that as a sign that he really is the best choice for a title shot.

Cole: And not to mention that Orton would also like to soften up John Cena, and if possible take out Mr. Kennedy. If Orton had the chance, he would make sure that Kennedy doesn’t make it to Cyber Sunday so that it gives him an even better chance at getting voted in.

“Crank It Up” by Brand New Sin plays. The crowd boos as Big Show makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: His partner, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 485 pounds, the United States Champion, the Big Show.

King: That was one of the topics that Orton was talking about earlier backstage with this man, his partner for tonight, the Big Show. And Big Show agreed with mostly everything Orton was saying about tonight.

Cole: That’s right. Big Show was saying that they need to work together tonight to get this important win. But Big Show then said to Orton that if the opportunity arises, he won’t hesitate to take it. What exactly does that mean?

King: I think Big Show is telling Orton that he’ll work with him to win the match, but after that it’s everyman for himself. Big Show wants to make an impact like last week so that the fans will vote for him, and if that’s at the expense of Orton, then that’s fine by Big Show.

“KENNEDY!” “Turn Up The Trouble” by Airbourne plays. The crowd cheers as Mr. Kennedy makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: Their opponents, first, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, weighing in at 235 pounds, Mr. Kennedy.

Cole: And here comes the fan favorite out of the three choices, Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy obviously liked by the fans, but is that enough to get him voted in on Sunday?

King: I don’t think it is. This isn’t a popularity contest. These fans aren’t going to just vote for who everyone cheers for. They’re voting for who deserves this title shot the most. And I think Kennedy knows that.

Cole: Well there’s no doubt that Kennedy will get some votes based on popularity, but I do agree that it’s more so who deserves the title match more. But Mr. Kennedy has been showing us that he deserves a WWE Title match and he hopes to prove that even more here tonight.

“The Time Is Now” by John Cena plays. The crowd cheers as John Cena makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: And his partner, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, John Cena.

King: And here’s the man who these three are gunning after. This Sunday, John Cena will take on one of these three men with his WWE Championship on the line, but the Champ seems confident!

Cole: Cena’s going to have to be confident in himself going into his title match if he wants to walk out WWE Champion. Cena is at a huge disadvantage this Sunday. He won’t know who his challenger will be until he gets into that ring.

King: Well like Cena’s said already, he just has to prepare for all of them and do his best out there. This has to be one of the toughest challenges Cena has faced. His title could be in jeopardy, but right now he needs to focus on this match with his partner Mr. Kennedy. Who will gain momentum going into Cyber Sunday?

John Cena & Mr. Kennedy vs. Randy Orton & Big Show

The match begins with Cena and Orton starting it out for their teams. The match goes on as a back and forth contest, with each team tagging in and out a few times. Towards the end of the match, Kennedy and Big Show are the two legal men in the ring, with Big Show in control. Big Show grabs Kennedy and delivers a sidewalk slam to him. The cover, 1…2…Kennedy kicks out. Big Show lifts Kennedy up and tosses him into his corner. Big Show goes over to the corner and delivers a few body blows to Kennedy. Big Show then tags in Orton. Orton gets into the ring and starts stomping Kennedy. Orton then lifts Kennedy up and delivers an inverted backbreaker. The cover, 1…2…Kennedy kicks out. Orton gets up and delivers a jumping knee drop to the chest of Kennedy. Orton gets back to his feet and yells over at Cena as the crowd boos him. Orton lifts Kennedy up and tosses him into a corner. Orton goes over to Kennedy in the corner and starts punching him until Kennedy is sitting in the corner. Orton then stomps Kennedy rapidly as the referee is telling Orton to stop or he’ll be disqualified. The referee gets Orton off and warns him that he’s risking disqualification. Orton blows it off like it doesn’t matter and walks back over towards the corner. Kennedy gets up in the corner and kicks Orton in the gut when he gets over to him.

Kennedy then starts punching Orton and tosses him into the corner. Orton slams back first into the corner and then stumbles out of the corner. Kennedy gets Orton on his shoulders and delivers a ROLLING FIREMAN’S CARRY SLAM. Kennedy then goes to the top rope and the crowd cheers, but gets distracted when Big Show walks over on the apron and starts yelling at him. Orton gets up and takes advantage of his partner’s distraction by sweeping Kennedy’s legs, making him fall but still remain on the top rope sitting. Orton grabs Kennedy’s head, pulls him out so that his feet are resting on the top rope, and drills Kennedy down to the mat with a TOP ROPE DDT. Orton goes for the cover, 1…2…CENA BREAKS UP THE PIN just in time. Cena starts punching Orton, until Big Show comes in and delivers a massive headbutt to Cena, sending him stumbling backwards to the ropes. Big Show charges at Cena, but Cena pulls down the top rope at the last second, causing the giant to go over the top rope and to the arena floor. Cena pulls himself back up, but turns around right into a picture perfect dropkick by Orton, which sends Cena through the ropes and to the floor on the outside with Big Show. Orton then turns around and sees Kennedy almost to his feet. Orton stalks Kennedy and waits for him to turn around. Orton goes for the RKO, but Kennedy pushes him off and then quickly catches Orton with a SURPRISE SCHOOL BOY ROLL UP, 1….2….3 KENNEDY AND CENA WIN the match after Kennedy catches Orton off guard!

Winners: John Cena & Mr. Kennedy

Lilian: Here are your winners, John Cena and Mr. Kennedy!

Orton looks shocked and angry. Orton starts arguing with the referee as Kennedy celebrates in the ring. Orton then shoves the referee out of the way and attacks Kennedy from behind. Orton mounts Kennedy and starts punching away at him furiously. On the outside, Big Show grabs Cena and tosses him hard INTO THE STEEL STEPS. Big Show gets into the ring and helps Orton beat up Kennedy. As Big Show stops on Kennedy, Orton looks over to the titantron and waves for people to come out. Just then we see RHODES AND DIBIASE run down to the ring. Before they get into the ring, they grab Cena, who is slowly getting to his feet, and tosses him into the ring. Orton, Big Show, and Priceless all start stomping on Kennedy and Cena as the crowd heavily boos them. All of a sudden, TRIPLE H AND SHAWN MICHAELS make their way down to the ring and the crowd goes crazy! Priceless turns their focus on DX as they get into the ring, but DX just takes it to them. Orton runs at Triple H to help out his fellow Legacy members, but Triple H quickly turns his attention to Orton and delivers a massive DOUBLE A SPINE BUSTER. Big Show then tries to get involved, but HBK quickly takes the big man down with SWEET CHIN MUSIC. Thanks to this, Priceless manages to get out of the ring, but DX quickly follows them. The two teams brawl up the ramp and to the backstage area.

Cena gets back up to his feet and looks angry. Cena picks up Orton and lifts him on his shoulders for the ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. But before Cena can deliver the move, Kennedy gets up, pulls Orton off of Cena’s shoulders, and delivers the MIC CHECK to Orton. Kennedy looks down at Orton as Cena turns around looking at Kennedy confused. Cena taps Kennedy on the shoulder and asks him what that was about. Kennedy says that he just wanted the satisfaction of taking out Orton. The referee then gives Cena his title belt. Cena holds it out in his hands and looks down at it. Just then, Kennedy grabs one side of the title as Cena holds onto the other. Kennedy pulls Cena in with the belt and says “THIOS WILL BE MINE!” Kennedy and Cena stare each other down as they each still hold onto either side of the belt. Both men then turn their heads as they notice Big Show getting up and looking at them. Cena and Kennedy both RUN WITH THE TITLE AND HIT BIG SHOW IN THE HEAD with it, knocking him to the ground. Cena then quickly pulls the title in, gets Kennedy on his shoulders, and delivers the ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT to him. Cena then looks around the ring and sees his three possible opponents all laid out in the ring. Cena smiles and hold the WWE Championship high and proudly as the crowd cheers!

King: And what a way to end Raw. After all of the chaos that arose, John Cena managed to be the last man standing. The WWE Champion is holding his title high as all three of his possible challengers are laid out in the ring.

Cole: Cena sending a message to all three of his possible challengers, but the question still is who will John Cena defend his WWE Championship against? Will it be Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, or Big Show? You the fans get to decide so make sure you vote for your choice. Thank you for joining us here in Jacksonville, Florida. Remember to join us this Sunday live on pay per view for Cyber Sunday. Good night everyone!

Raw Review

Opening promo: So Cena kicks things off always appealing to the fans. I'm glad Orton,Kennedy, and Show all came out to make their claim. Out of everyone Kennedy is the best option. Orton's explanation confused me a bit, since he is hated so much so I really don't think he has a shot. Anyway Vickie coming out is fine since she makes a great main event.

TBK/Chavo: Good match however Heel vs. Heel??? Anyway I really don't like Santino and Regal IRL but hopefully you can book them alright and considering none of them are in the United States picture I have no idea what you are going to do with all of them... especially guys like Kofi and the Miz deserve shots at the US Title before them.

Rhodes/Dibiase promo: I love the run down of all the teams. I really feel that their lines about the Hart Dynasty was very powerful and the best. Anyway DX coming out then not getting a match, I thought was interesting. Instead the Colons come out so lets see how this match goes.

Legacy/Colons: And the Colons win thanks to DX. Does this mean they have alot of the momentum heading into Cyber Sunday. Hell yea, but I really hope they don't get in. Hart Dynasty I think would be good, and plus ECW needs to be involved a bit more.

Matt/Vickie: I like that Vickie isn't laying down to Matt who is moaning and groaning. I also like that she threatens him with a potential suspension. So lets see if Matt wants to test out the waters by not fighting or hitting Batista.

Batista/Matt vs. Goldust/Snuka: Well, Goldust and Snuka are a real weird team and I really hope you don't keep them together. Anyway it seemed like a really long squash match to me, as both Matt and Batista try to one up the other. I can't wait for their match at Cyber Sunday it should be epic.

Rhodes/Dibiase backstage: Interesting that Rosa is the backstage announcer. Guessing you just tossed a random diva. Anyway wow Hart Dynast vs. DX on Superstars.... maybe would of liked it to be on ECW, tbh. I feel superstars is more for midcard level matches. I don't ever think an epic match like that can take place on a show that some people don't even get.

Miz/Kelly: Miz and Kelly Kelly have a great back and forth. Sure Miz comes back with a good diss, but Kelly Kelly questions his sexuality which is awesome. I'm glad she is sticking up for herself. Also the John Morrison lines were golden too. Probably your best promo, because Kelly Kelly is actually legit right here, and maybe she can pull off the upset.

Maryse/Kelly Kelly: Well I was wrong anyway good divas match considering its a divas match. Anyway afterwards I was really surprised. Miz tries to impresse maryse and Maryse laughs. Oh man she really does not like him. Kelly Kelly was right I think. However this storyline really does interest me. I really don't know where this is going.

Main Event: It was a good match but I don't like the school boy ending to be honest makes Orton look very weak, and I mean very weak, however you did redeem yourself with the attack. Legacy getting involved I really didn't think was necessary but at least you balanced it out with DX. Anyway Super Cena coming out on top was good, as he shows that no matter who is chosen he can pull out the victory as all men are laid out.

Overall: Alot of build up towards Cyber Sunday. I enjoyed this show, and your Miz stuff with the promo with Kelly Kelly and the storyline is the one thing that really makes me interested. I really have no idea where that is going. Like I said the only problem I have is DX vs. Hart Dynasty on Superstars. I would of changed it to ECW, but can't wait to see what you have planned for ECW.

ECW Preview
October 20, 2009
Columbia, South Carolina

With just five days until Cyber Sunday, the final stop for campaigning is upon us. Christian, Evan Bourne, and Vladimir Kozlov will all be looking to impress you the fans to get your votes for a shot at the ECW Champion Paul Burchill this Sunday. This week on ECW, the champion Paul Burchill will be a match involving all three of his possible opponents. We’ll see the ECW Champion teaming up with Vladimir Kozlov to take on Christian and Evan Bourne. Christian and Bourne managed to pull off a win last week as a team, but after exchanging a Killswitch for an Air Bourne, will these two be able to work together? With everyman looking to make their own statement, who knows what will happen.

Speaking of Christian and Evan Bourne, last week on ECW they defeated the team on Zack Ryder and Jack Swagger. After Swagger hesitated for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, Bourne was able to take advantage and win the match. Swagger’s partner Ryder was not too pleased about this. Ryder completely blames Swagger for the loss last week. As a result, these two will go one-on-one this week. Will Ryder prove that Swagger was the weak link, or will Swagger finally break his losing streak?

Last week in our main event, we saw the in-ring return of Gregory Helms after being out for a year with a neck injury. Helms’s first challenge was the man who almost reinjured him a few weeks ago, Vladimir Kozlov. After a well fought battle, Helms managed to outsmart Kozlov and won the match by count out. This week, Helms looks to continue his momentum when he faces off against the Irish veteran Finlay. Can Helms make it two wins in a row?

Confirmed Matches
-Christian & Evan Bourne vs. Vladimir Kozlov & Paul Burchill
-Zack Ryder vs. Jack Swagger
-Finlay vs. Gregory Helms

WWE Superstars Preview
October 22, 2009

This past Monday on Raw, we had a huge main event made for this week’s WWE Superstars. After DX got involved and cost Priceless their match against The Colons, the Tag Team Champions had a little surprise for DX. After they faced one their possible challengers for Cyber Sunday, they thought it was time for DX to do the same. So after talking to the General Managers, it was made official that D-Generation X would take on The Hart Dynasty. Can the up-an-coming team pull off the biggest victory of their careers and possibly gain votes from the fans, or will DX prevail and gain momentum towards the triple threat Tag Team Title match this Sunday?

For weeks now, Miz and Kofi Kingston have had their personal issues with one another. A week ago on Raw, The Miz cost Kofi Kingston his match against William Regal. This past Monday on Raw, Kofi came out to finally get his revenge on The Miz for all of his actions and words. But as Kofi was beating up Miz, Maryse surprisingly helped The Miz by distracting Kofi just enough for Miz to take advantage and take out Kofi. After the brawl on Raw, the match has been made official for this week’s WWE Superstars for Kofi and Miz to go one-on-one. Will Miz pull out a victory to further impress Maryse and work towards a United States Title shot, or will Kofi Kingston finally do what he said he wanted to and shut Miz’s mouth once and for all?

Last week on Smackdown, R-Truth and Curt Hawkins faced off against Charlie Haas and Mike Knox after they interrupted Truth and Hawkins’s interview before the match and started arguing. Just when it seemed R-Truth had the match won, Knox saved his new partner from being finished off with the Lie Detector by taking out R-Truth with the Flying Bear Cross Body Block. Haas then finished off R-Truth with a perfect German Suplex, backing up everything he said to R-Truth and Hawkins earlier. This week on WWE Superstars, R-Truth gets to try and even the score when he goes one-on-one against the man who proclaims he can out wrestle him in his sleep. Will Haas get another win against R-Truth or will R-Truth show Haas just how good he is?

Confirmed Matches
-D-Generation X vs. The Hart Dynasty
-Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz
-Charlie Haas vs. R-Truth

ECW
October 20, 2009
Columbia, South Carolina

WWE Signature Video is shown.

A recap video from last week’s ECW is shown. We see the ECW Champion Paul Burchill come out to start the show. Burchill talks about all three of his possible opponents at Cyber Sunday and says that no matter who is picked, he’ll be walking out still ECW Champion. Christian, Evan Bourne, and Vladimir Kozlov all come out to defend themselves against Burchill’s comments and why the fans should vote for them. Christian and Bourne then challenge Burchill to a fight, but the ECW Champion walks out of the ring with Katie Lea saying “It’s not worth it!” Christian and Bourne then take out Kozlov with a double dropkick and then clotheslining him out of the ring. Christian and Bourne shake hands, but just as Bourne is about to leave the ring, Christian grabs Bourne from behind and delivers the Killswitch! Christian stands over Bourne saying “Sorry man. It’s nothing personal. It’s just politics.” We then skip to later in the night where we see clips from Kozlov verses Gregory Helms. We see both men on the outside as the referee is counting. Helms drop toe holds Kozlov into the steel steps and then delivers the Shining Wizard. Helms gets back into the ring and wins by count out. Kozlov gets back into the ring and delivers a straight kick to Helms’s chest. Kozlov grabs a chair and holds it against Helms’s neck, but Christian and Bourne run down to the ring and attack Kozlov. Kozlov rolls out of the ring to get away from them, but Helms jumps off the top rope to the outside onto Kozlov. Then, Burchill comes out and goes to hit Christian with the ECW Title, but Christian ducks it and tosses Burchill over the top rope and onto the apron. Christian and Bourne then dropkick Burchill off the apron together. Bourne and Christian shake hands just like earlier, but then Bourne connects with a roundhouse kick to Christian’s head. Bourne goes to the top rope and hits the Air Bourne onto Christian. The video ends with Bourne standing over Christian and saying “Like you said earlier, it’s not personal. It’s just politics.”

ECW Opening Video is shown as “Don’t Question My Heart” by Saliva plays.

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild.

Mathews: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to ECW here on SyFy. We’re just five days away from Cyber Sunday and Matt, what a night we have in stored.

Striker: That’s right Josh. With Cyber Sunday on the horizon, our main event will feature the ECW Champion and all three of his possible opponents for this Sunday. It will be the champion Paul Burchill teaming up with Vladimir Kozlov to take on Evan Bourne and Christian. And after last week, I’m questioning the team of Christian and Bourne.

Mathews: Well even though they did attack each other, last week on ECW they did win a tag team match together. And the two men that they defeated are actually going to go one-on-one tonight. It’ll be the “Long Island Loud Mouth” Zack Ryder taking on the “All American America” Jack Swagger.

Striker: What a night! And I’m sure that just like last week, all three choices for the ECW Championship match this Sunday will be doing anything and everything they can to earn the votes of you the fans. Let’s get this night started!

“Just Close Your Eyes” by Story Of The Year plays. The crowd cheers as Christian makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring Christian!

Mathews: And it looks like we’re going to kick things off with “Captain Charisma” himself, Christian. After what transpired last week with him and Bourne and Cyber Sunday being just five days away, I’m sure Christian has a lot to say to the fans.

Striker: Well Christian started it last week. He attacked Bourne first. He should’ve expected Bourne to get some retribution. Like he said last week, it’s all about getting votes for Cyber Sunday.

Christian gets into the ring and grabs a microphone. The crowd goes crazy as Christian looks out to all of his Peeps.

Christian: In just five days, the ECW Championship will be on the line at Cyber Sunday. But the question is who will be the challenger? That’ll be decided by you the fans when you vote between Evan Bourne… Vladimir Kozlov… and myself. And seeing as the campaign is almost over, I thought I’d come out here one more time and explain to you… all of my Peeps… why you should vote for me.

The Peeps cheer for Christian.

Christian: Out of all three of the choices, I’m the only one that has been the ECW Champion. I know what it takes to become champion. And not to mention, I never got my rematch for the ECW Title. So at Cyber Sunday… vote in Captain Charisma so that I can take that title off of that English bore and bring it back to where it belongs!

Just then, “Born To Win” by Mutiny Within plays. The crowd cheers as Evan Bourne makes his way to the ring. Bourne gets into the ring, grabs a microphone, and confronts Christian.

Bourne: So I saw you out here Christian and I figured I needed to come out so that we can… clear the air here.

Christian nods his head to show Bourne he has his full attention and agrees with him.

Bourne: Last week, the two of us had a little altercation…. twice. We both got a cheap shot in on each other. But I think we can both agree that this is not a personal attack and that it’s about one thing and one thing only…. The ECW Championship! We attacked each other so that we could make our point to these fans that we deserve the title shot more… and I think we both understand and respect that.

The crowd cheers and claps for the comment. Christian again nods his head in agreement with Bourne.

Christian: Evan, I couldn’t have said it any better myself. I want you to know that I respect you and we’re still friends… but I want that ECW Title shot just as much as you do. And just like we showed the fans last week, we’ll do anything to prove that they should vote for us… even if that means attacking a friend.

Bourne: And like you said last week…. It’s not personal…. It’s just politics. That sums it up right there. And the reason I wanted to come out here and talk to you is because I wanted to make sure we’re on the same page for tonight when we face Burchill and Kozlov. You and I both know that we need this win and we need the momentum going into Cyber Sunday.

Christian: Don’t worry about that. Tonight we’re on the same page…

Christian extends his hand and Bourne shakes it. Christian then pulls Bourne a little closer to him.

Christian: For the main event.

Bourne and Christian stare each other down when all of a sudden, “Pain” plays. The crowd boos as Vladimir Kozlov makes his way to the ring. Christian and Bourne look over at Kozlov as he gets into the ring and grabs a microphone. Kozlov seems angry.

Kozlov: It’s not just the two of you for Cyber Sunday. You both keep forgetting about me, Vladimir Kozlov. And tonight… I’m going to prove why Vladimir Kozlov should be ECW Champion and not either of you two weaklings. No one is competition for Vladimir Kozlov!

Bourne and Christian both look at each other, nod their heads, and then double clothesline Kozlov to the mat. Christian goes to hit Bourne, but Bourne sees it coming and ducks it. Bourne then connects with a jumping high knee to Christian that knocks him down. Bourne turns around and sees Kozlov coming out him, but Bourne delivers a spin kick to Kozlov that sends the Moscow Mauler down to a knee dazed. Bourne goes to the top rope and jumps off at Kozlov, but Kozlov catches Bourne mid-air with a huge HEADBUTT TO THE CHEST! Kozlov turns around and sees Christian getting up. Kozlov grabs Christian and delivers the IRON CURTAIN to him! Kozlov stands tall raising his arms in victory as the arena fills with boos.

Striker: And the Moscow Mauler makes a huge impact here. If anyone forgot Kozlov was a choice at Cyber Sunday, they know now!

Mathews: Kozlov standing tall to start things off, but will he be standing tall after tonight’s main event? Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Lambeg” plays. The crowd cheers as Finlay makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, weighing in at 233 pounds, Finlay.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW here on SyFy as we get ready for our opening contest. As you can see, the “Fighting Irishman” Finlay is making his way to the ring, ready to compete.

Striker: Well Finlay is always ready to compete. Finlay loves to fight. He’ll take the fight to you. And that’s something GregoryHelms is going to have to watch out for tonight if he wants to walk out for the second week since his return with a win.

“It's Time” plays. The crowd cheers as Gregory Helms makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: And his opponent, from Raleigh, North Carolina, weighing in at 215 pounds, Gregory Helms.

Mathews: And here comes Gregory Helms now. As you mentioned Matt, last week Gregory Helms returned to the ring for the first time in over a year, and Helms did pretty well for himself.

Striker: That he did. Last week in our main event on ECW, Gregory Helms took on Vladimir Kozlov, the man who almost reinjured Helms’s neck a few weeks ago backstage in General Manager Tommy Dreamer’s office.

Mathews: Helms used his intelligence and quickness to take advantage of Kozlov on the outside and was able to pick up a count out victory over the Moscow Mauler, which is definitely a huge accomplishment, especially for a man who hasn’t wrestled in over a year. But can Helms make it two wins two weeks in a row?

Finlay vs. Gregory Helms

The match starts off with both men locking up. The match progresses as a back and forth contest between both men. Towards the end, Finlay is in control of the match. Finlay grabs Helms and connects with a European uppercut, sending Helms crashing to the mat. Finlay runs off the ropes and comes back with a seated senton splash onto the chest of Helms. Finlay goes for the cover, 1…2….Helms kicks out. Finlay lifts Helms up and starts delivering forearm shots to the head of Helms, finishing off with a short-arm clothesline. Finlay picks Helms back up and connects with another short-arm clothesline. Finlay then lifts Helms up and onto his shoulders. It looks like Finlay is setting up for the Celtic Cross, but Helms knees Finlay in the head to get out of it and off of his shoulders. Finlay turns around and gets caught with a dropkick by Helms.

Both men get to their feet and Helms starts punching away at Finlay. Helms goes to toss Finlay into a corner, but Finlay reverses it and tosses Helms into the corner. Finlay runs at Helms in the corner, but Helms puts his boot up and catches Finlay in the face. Helms runs at a groggy Finlay and connects with a running neckbreaker. The cover, 1…2…Finlay kicks out. Helms gets up and delivers a quick leg drop to Finlay. Helms lifts Finlay up and sets him up for a DDT, but Finlay prevents it by digging his shoulder into Helms’s gut. Finlay grabs Helms and lifts him up for a scoop slam, but Helms manages to reverse it by slipping over Finlay’s shoulder and landing on his feet behind him. Helms grabs Finlay from behind and delivers the EYE OF THE HURRICANE!. Helms crawls over to the ropes and uses them to help him get up since he’s exhausted. Helms waits as Finlay starts to slowly get up. Helms measures Finlay and connects with the SHINING WIZARD! The cover, 1…2…3 HELMS WINS the match!

Winner: Gregory Helms

Chimel: Here is your winner, Gregory Helms!

Helms gets up and celebrates by taunting to the crowd as they cheer for him!

Mathews: And after a hard fought battle, Gregory Helms picks up his second win since his return.

Striker: I have to say I’m surprised. I was expecting to see more ring rust from a man who’s been out of action for over a year, but it’s like Helms never missed a day of action.

Mathews: Congratulations to Gregory Helms. Who knows what lies next in his path, but if things keep going this way for Helms, big things are bound to happen. Well still to come tonight is our huge tag team main event. It’s the ECW Champion Paul Burchill teaming with Vladimir Kozlov to take on Christian and Evan Bourne. Stay tuned for more ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial, we see a quick recap video from last week of Christian and Bourne verses Ryder and Swagger. We see Swagger german suplex Bourne and then looking like he’s going to pick Bourne up, but hesitates for a second. Swagger then picks Bourne up and goes for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but he put too much force behind it and Bourne is able to go over Swagger’s shoulder and land behind him. Bourne hits Swagger with a jumping knee strike, followed by a spinning back kick and then Air Bourne for the win. The clip then ends with Ryder arguing with Swagger in the ring after the match.

We then go backstage to see ECW reporter Savannah with Zack Ryder.

Savannah: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Zack Ryder. Now Zack, as we just saw, last week you were arguing with your partner Jack Swagger after the two of you lost your match…

Ryder: Whoa! Hold on! I didn’t lose last week. Jack Swagger Did! Christian and Bourne were on the brink of imploding. This should’ve been an easy win for us. But no… You see, Swagger may talk a big game, but he sure doesn’t back it up in the ring. He thinks that he’s the best, yet last week he hesitated to finish Bourne. You can’t do that. You would think that a former ECW Champion would know that. And because of his stupid mistake, I had to pay for it. If I was in the ring, we would’ve won the match, no questions asked.

Ryder then takes his sunglasses off and looks right at the camera.

Ryder: You see Jack… that’s why I asked for this match tonight. I’m going to prove to everyone that it wasn’t because of me that we lost. And after I beat you… I’m going to be first in line to challenge the winner of the ECW Championship match this Sunday. WOO!… WOO!… WOO!........ YOU KNOW IT!

Ryder puts his sunglasses back on and walks off.

Mathews: It’ll be Zack Ryder verses Jack Swagger coming up next when we return to ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Radio” by Watt White plays. The crowd boos as Zack Ryder makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 214 pounds, Zack Ryder.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW as we see the “Long Island Loud Mouth” Zack Ryder making his way to the ring. And Ryder looks very confident here tonight.

Striker: Well as we heard before the commercial break, Ryder did ask for this match. And I admire Ryder for that. He wants to prove that last week’s loss was not his fault. A win over Swagger tonight will prove that.

Mathews: Ryder is very disappointed with the way last week went. After Christian attacked Bourne earlier in the night, he felt that it should’ve made the match easier for them since they could capitalize on possible trust issues. But like you said Matt, Ryder wants to prove that he was not the weak link and that he even deserves the next ECW Title shot.

“Get On Your Knees” by Age Against The Machine plays. The crowd boos as Jack Swagger makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: And his opponent, from Perry, Oklahoma, weighing in at 263 pounds, The All American American, Jack Swagger.

Striker: That’s a bold statement by Ryder and backing it up won’t be very easy. He has to remember that he’s going up against the two time All American and former ECW Champion, Jack Swagger.

Mathews: As great as Swagger’s accolades are, lately they don’t matter. Swagger has been on a losing streak for a few weeks now and it’s seems that it’s really gotten to Swagger.

Striker: Well it doesn’t help that Evan Bourne keeps reminding him of it and rubbing it in Swagger’s face. But this is just a minor setback for Swagger. He can deal with it. In fact, we could see the comeback of Swagger here tonight with a win over Ryder. Let’s see if he can finally break that losing streak.

Zack Ryder vs. Jack Swagger

The match starts off with both men taunting each other and yelling across the ring at each other about last week. The match goes on as an even contest between the two of them. Towards the end, Ryder is in control of the match. Ryder grabs Swagger and delivers a swinging neckbreaker. Ryder then goes to the top rope as he waits for Swagger to get up. Ryder then taunts and jumps off the top rope, delivering a missile dropkick to Swagger. The cover, 1…2…Swagger kicks out. Ryder stomps on Swagger and then yells down at him “Woo Woo Woo!” Ryder lifts Swagger to his feet and delivers a few forearm shots to the head. Ryder runs off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Swagger ducks, quickly grabs Ryder from behind and pulls off a german suplex. Both men slowly get to their feet and exchange punches. Swagger gets the better of the exchange after a knee to the gut of Ryder. Swagger then tosses Ryder hard into the corner. Ryder crashes into the corner chest first and then stumbles backwards. Swagger turns Ryder around and delivers a belly-to-belly slam right near the corner.

Swagger backs up, runs at the corner and connects with a corner slingshot splash onto Ryder. The cover, 1…2…Ryder kicks out. Swagger gets up shocked and frustrated that it isn’t over. Swagger then grabs Ryder and sets him up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Swagger hesitates to go for it just like last week. Swagger then shakes off his doubt and goes to lift Ryder up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Ryder grabs onto Swagger's leg to prevent the move from happening. Ryder then delivers a shoulder right to Swagger's gut to get Swagger to release his grip. Ryder backs up a bit, runs at Swagger, and connects with the ROUGH RYDER leg lariat! Ryder then gets back up to his feet, lifts Swagger up, and delivers the ZACK ATTACK! Ryder goes for the cover, 1…2…3 RYDER WINS the match!

Winner: Zack Ryder

Chimel: Here is your winner, Zack Ryder!

Ryder gets up in excitement over his win. Ryder gets out of the ring and taunts as he walks up the ramp. Back in the ring we see Swagger slowly getting to his knees. Swagger hits the mat in frustration and grabs his hair like he’s trying to rip it out in anger. The referee goes over to Swagger to see if he’s ok, but Swagger pushes the referee away. Swagger leaves the ring and walks up the ramp frustrated and disappointed in himself.

Striker: Wow… I don’t think we’ve ever seen Swagger act like this before.

Mathews: Swagger’s really frustrated with himself. Zack Ryder gets the win and Jack Swagger’s losing streak continues.

Striker: And you can tell that it’s really getting to him mentally. That’s two weeks in a row Swagger had the match won but he lost because he hesitated. He keeps doubting himself. Swagger needs to find a way to overcome that if he ever wants to win a match again.

Mathews: Yeah, this doesn’t look good for the All American American. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how he copes with this. Well don’t forget, still to come tonight is our huge main event. It’ll be Christian and Evan Bourne teaming up to take on Vladimir Kozlov and the ECW Champion Paul Burchill. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial, we see Jack Swagger backstage walking back from his match. Swagger looks very frustrated with his head held down. Swagger goes over to a table and puts both of his hands on it and keeps his head down, trying to regain his composure. Just then, Evan Bourne walks up behind Swagger and gets his attention.

Bourne: Don’t worry buddy…. One more loss isn’t going to make your losing streak any worse than it already is. You should be used to it by now. In fact… you should now be known as the All American American of losing… Anyway, good luck with that. I have to go get ready for my match.

Bourne sarcastically pats Swagger on the back and walks away. Swagger starts to get angrier until he SNAPS and flips over the table and throws a nearby garbage can at the wall! Swagger then stands there fuming and then just screams!

Striker: Wow!.... Swagger has just lost it. And it doesn’t help that Bourne is mocking him.

Mathews: After all Swagger has said about Bourne in the past, Swagger deserves it. But it will be interesting to see if Swagger can finally turn things around.

“Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise starts to play in the background.

Mathews: Well we’d like to thank Dead By Sunrise for the official Cyber Sunday theme “Inside Of Me” off of their debut album Out Of Ashes, which is available now. And Matt, this Sunday, there will be three men looking to get inside of that ring for the ECW Championship.

Striker: That’s right Josh. The ECW Champion will defend his ECW Championship at Cyber Sunday, but the question is against who? That’s where you the fans come in. You get to vote for Burchill’s opponent. Will it be the former ECW Champion Christian, the exciting Evan “Air” Bourne, or the “Moscow Mauler” Vladimir Kozlov? We’ve heard from all three men why they should be voted in and all of them have even showed it to you. Who will enter that ring in five days at the most interactive pay per view in the WWE, Cyber Sunday?

We then see a split screen. On one side it’s Christian and Bourne backstage walking to the ring with smiles on their faces and ready to go. On the other side, we see Kozlov and the ECW Champion Burchill with his sister Katie Lea by his side backstage walking to the ring with stern and determined looks on their faces.

Mathews: And there you see the four men who all have Cyber Sunday in mind. But before that, they will be fighting in our tag team main event. That’s coming up next when we return to ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Pain” plays. The crowd boos as Vladimir Kozlov makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Moscow, weighing in at 302 pounds, Vladimir Kozlov.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW and it’s time for our main event. Here comes one of the three choices to face Paul Burchill this Sunday for the ECW Championship. And earlier tonight we saw just how dominant Kozlov can be.

Striker: That’s right. Kozlov stood tall over a fallen Evan Bourne and Christian in the beginning of the night. In my opinion, Kozlov had the momentum going into Cyber Sunday right now.

Mathews: Well don’t get ahead of yourself now. This match will decide who has the momentum heading into Cyber Sunday and it could be anyone.

“Generator A” plays. The crowd boos as Paul Burchill and Katie Lea make their way to the ring.

Chimel: His partner, being accompanied by Katie Lea, from Chelsea, England, weighing in at 247 pounds, he is the ECW Champion, Paul Burchill.

Striker: With this man by his side, how can Kozlov lose? The ECW Champion looks ready to go and know he can’t wait for Cyber Sunday so that he can prove all of the doubters wrong by defending his ECW Title.

Mathews: This Sunday will be Paul Burchill’s first title defense since winning it a few weeks ago at No Mercy. Matt, I don’t think anyone doubts Burchill as a champion, but he has a huge disadvantage going into this match not knowing his opponent.

Striker: Yes it will be tough, but you heard Burchill last week. He explained to us why it doesn’t matter who is picked because he knows that he’s better than all three of them and can beat each one.

“Born To Win” by Mutiny Within plays. The crowd cheers as Evan Bourne makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: Their opponents, first, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 183 pounds, Evan Bourne.

Mathews: I don’t think Burchill should be taking anyone lightly, including this man, Evan “Air” Bourne. Last week on ECW, the night ended with Bourne standing tall over the ECW Champion and the other two choices for Cyber Sunday. That’s an impact.

Striker: Well it also comes with its consequences. Last week we saw Christian and Bourne attack each other and now earlier tonight they did it again. There is no way this team will be functioning.

Mathews: We’re just going to have to wait and see. With momentum and possibly votes on the line, I’m sure Christian and Bourne can work through there dispute.

“Just Close Your Eyes” by Story Of The Year plays. The crowd cheers as Christian makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: And his partner, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, Christian.

Striker: They might be able to work just for the sake of winning the match, but trust me, once it’s over it’ll be a race of who can attack who first.

Mathews: Well Christian said it last week after he attack Bourne. “It’s not personal. It’s just politics.” That really says it all. It’s all about a shot at the ECW Championship.

Striker: As I’ve been saying for weeks, when it comes to the ECW Title, there are no friends. Christian did the right thing last week and let’s see if the veteran can do it again. Who will gain the momentum going into Cyber Sunday? We’re about to find out.

Christian & Evan Bourne vs. Vladimir Kozlov & Paul Burchill

The match starts off with Christian and Kozlov kicking it off for their respective teams. The match progresses with both teams getting a good amount of offense in on each other with a few tags. Towards the end, Bourne and Kozlov are the two legal men, with Kozlov in control. Kozlov has Bourne in his grip and starts delivering vicious headbutts to Bourne’s chest. Kozlov then lifts up Bourne, runs towards his corner, and slams Bourne back first into the corner. Kozlov then tags in Burchill as he holds Bourne in the corner. Burchill gets into the ring and starts stomping and punching Bourne as he trash talks him. Burchill then gets Bourne out of the corner and starts to deliver knee shots to the gut of Bourne. Burchill then lifts Bourne up and drops him down right across his knee for a gutbuster. Burchill goes for the cover, 1…2…Bourne kicks out. Burchill slaps around Bourne as he picks him up. Burchill tosses Bourne into a corner and runs at him for a corner clothesline, but Bourne is able to get both his feet up and connects with Burchill. Burchill stumbles backward as Bourne goes to the top rope. Bourne jumps off the top rope and connects with his double knee takedown. Bourne then crawls to his corner as the crowd cheers him on. Bourne dives and tags in Christian as the crowd goes wild!

Christian gets in and starts punching away at Burchill. Christian goes to irish whip Burchill, but Burchill reverses and tosses Christian into a corner. Burchill runs at Christian in the corner, but Christian slides between the ropes and delivers a Pendulum Kick to Burchill. Christian then goes to the second ropes, jumps off, and connects with a diving European uppercut to the ECW Champion. Christian then gets the crowd hyped up by clapping, signaling that he’s getting ready for the Killswitch. As Christian waits for Burchill to get back to his feet, Katie Lea gets up on the apron and distracts Christian. The distraction allows Burchill to get back up and deliver TWISTED SISTER to Christian! The cover, 1…2…BOURNE JUST BREAKS UP THE PIN! Kozlov then gets into the ring and delivers a few punches to Bourne, which sends Bourne back up against the ropes. Kozlov backs up and runs at Bourne at full speed, but Bourne pulls the top rope down, making Kozlov go over the top rope and to the floor. Burchill then comes up from behind, grabs Bourne and tosses him over the top rope, but Bourne manages to hold onto the ropes and lands on the apron. Burchill turns around and notices this. Burchill goes to knock Bourne off the apron, but Bourne is able to connect first with a roundhouse kick to the head of Burchill. Burchill stumbles backwards right into Christian. Christian grabs Burchill and delivers the KILLSWITCH! Christian goes for the cover, 1…2…3 CHRISTIAN AND BOURNE WIN the match!

Winners: Christian & Evan Bourne

Chimel: Here are your winners, Evan Bourne and Christian!

After the match, Christian starts to celebrate. Bourne is about to get into the ring to celebrate with him, but Kozlov grabs Bourne's foot and yanks him off the apron and onto the outside floor. Bourne gets back to his feet but Kozlov delivers a HARD STRAIGHT KICK to Bourne's chest that sends him flying back, crashing into the STEEL STEPS! Christian sees this and goes over to the ropes by Kozlov, who is starting to get onto the apron. Christian reaches over the ropes to grab Kozlov, but Kozlov headbutts Christian in the gut, sending him stumbling back to a corner. Kozlov gets into the ring and charges at Christian in the corner, but Christian moves out of the way making Kozlov headbutt the corner! Kozlov stumbles backwards out of the corner. Christian grabs Kozlov and delivers the KILLSWITCH to him! Christian stands tall and taunts as the crowd cheers. But just then, Katie Lea grabs the ECW Title and tosses it into Burchill as he slowly gets up, undetected by Christian. Christian then turns around and gets DRILLED IN THE HEAD WITH THE ECW TITLE by Burchill! Katie Lea gets into the ring with her brother. Burchill stands tall holding his ECW Title high with his sister Katie Lea by his side as the arena fills with a sea of boos!

Striker: What a sight! After all of the challengers tried so hard to make an impact, it’s the ECW Champion who’s standing tall at the end of the night. Take a good look because this could very well be what we see come Cyber Sunday.

Mathews: You could be right Matt, or we could be seeing one of those three men holding their newly won ECW Title high instead. Well the question is who will you the fans vote for the face Paul Burchill for the ECW Championship? Make sure you vote now! And don’t forget to join us in five days live on pay per view for Cyber Sunday! Goodnight everyone!

WWE Signature Video is shown

WWE Superstars Opening Video is shown as “Invincible” by Adelitas Way plays

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Grisham: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to WWE Superstars. We’re just three days away from Cyber Sunday and what a night this is going to be.

JR: You said it Todd. We have a huge main event coming to you tonight. For the first time ever it’ll be The Hart Dynasty taking on D-Generation X. It’s the past verses the future. Can The Hart Dynasty pull off the biggest win of their careers or will DX teach these young guys a lesson?

Grisham: Well I can’t wait to see that match. But let’s get things started here tonight with some action from Smackdown.

“Pay The Price” by Eric & The Hostiles plays. The crowd boos as Charlie Haas and Mike Knox make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Mike Knox, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 249 pounds, Charlie Haas.

JR: And we start things off with the graduate from Seton Hall, Charlie Haas who hasn’t come alone. He brought the, as he called him last week, “evil genius” Mike Knox.

Grisham: I got a chance to talk to Charlie Haas about last week and his partnership with Mike Knox. He said that the two of them are sticking together because they believe that together they can take the WWE by storm and show everyone what they’re made of.

JR: Well I know that Haas and Knox have both felt that they’ve been looked past or looked over the past year or so. They want to change that and last week they sure started to turn heads after they got that win over R-Truth and Curt Hawkins.

“What’s Up?” by R-Truth plays. The crowd cheers as R-Truth makes his way to the ring singing his theme song and dancing.

Justin: And his opponent, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 228 pounds, R-Truth.

Grisham: And speaking of R-Truth, here comes the charismatic fan favorite now. And I’m sure R-Truth would love to make up for the loss last week with a win here tonight.

JR: Last week on Smackdown, R-Truth thought he had Haas, but Haas ducked the Lie Detector and R-Truth got engulfed by the massive Mike Knox with the Flying Bear crossbody. And then Haas finished R-Truth off with a picture perfect Bridging German Suplex.

Grisham: Well just like last week, R-Truth is going to have to watch out for Knox. Even though he’s not in the match, that doesn’t mean Knox won’t get involved. Who’ll win this opening contest here on WWE Superstars?

Charlie Haas vs. R-Truth

The match starts off and continues as a very even contest. Towards the end, Haas is in control of the match. Haas grabs R-Truth and delivers an exploder suplex to him. The cover, 1…2…R-Truth kicks out. Haas lifts R-Truth back up and tosses him off the ropes. Haas bends down for a back body drop, but R-Truth jumps over Haas going for a sunset flip, but Haas manages to roll through. Haas immediately grabs R-Truth’s legs and locks in the HAAS OF PAIN! R-Truth looks in pain as he desperately crawls for the ropes. R-Truth finally reaches the ropes causing a rope break. Haas stalks R-Truth and screams at him to get up. As R-Truth gets up, Haas grabs R-Truth from behind and looks to be going for a German Suplex, but R-Truth manages to turn around right as Haas lifts him and reverses it into a DDT. Both men slowly get to their feet. Haas tries to punch R-Truth, but he ducks and starts delivering punches to Haas. R-Truth runs off the ropes at Haas. Haas catches R-Truth with a hip toss, but R-Truth lands on his feet and delivers a hip toss of his own to Haas.

R-Truth lifts Haas up and goes to toss him, but Haas reverses and tosses R-Truth towards the corner as he runs after him. R-Truth launches himself up in the corner and over Haas. Haas turns around and runs at R-Truth with a clothesline, but R-Truth does a split to avoid it. Haas turns around quickly and gets hit with a corkscrew back kick by R-Truth. R-Truth gets the crowd all hyped up as he waits for Haas to slowly get up. R-Truth is about to run at Haas when Knox gets up on the apron behind him and starts yelling at him. R-Truth turns around and yells at Knox. Haas gets up and tries to take advantage of the distraction. Haas runs at R-Truth to attack him from behind, but R-Truth quickly turns around, sees Haas coming and steps out of the way. Haas is about to run into Knox on the apron, but manages to stop just in time. But before Haas can turn around, R-Truth hits a front dropkick to the back of Haas that sends him forward and crashing into Knox, who falls off the apron. Haas stumbles backwards as R-Truth runs off the ropes. Haas turns around and gets drilled with the LIE DETECTOR by R-Truth! The cover, 1…2…3 R-TRUTH WINS the match!

Winner: R-Truth

Justin: Here is your winner, R-Truth!

R-Truth rolls out of the ring as the match ends and the crowd cheers. Knox gets into the ring to check on Haas. R-Truth walks up the ramp with a smile on his face and taunting with the fans. R-Truth screams “What’s Up?!” and the fans chant right back “WHAT’S UP?!

JR: After being pinned by Haas last week, R-Truth counters back with a win now over Haas. Knox tried to help his partner, but it backfired on them this time and R-Truth was able to pick up a hard fought victory.

Grisham: R-Truth just showed Haas that you don’t need to be a champion amateur wrestler in order to win matches. And that’s the truth! Well still to come tonight is our huge tag team main event. It’s The Hart Dynasty taking on D-Generation X. Stay tuned for more WWE Superstars when we return here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage, we see Raw’s backstage reporter Eve with The Miz.

Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, The Miz. Now Miz, you and Kofi Kingston have had your problems with each other the last few months. And after the events that occurred on Monday Night Raw this week, the match between you two has been made. What are your thoughts on your up-coming match with Kofi?

Miz: For the past few months, Kofi Kingston has been nothing more than an irritating pain. He keeps complaining about me, saying I’m nothing more than a cocky and annoying loud mouth. I remember a few weeks ago Kofi said that he wanted to do something to me…. What was it again?... Oh yeah. Kofi said that he wanted to shut me up for good. Well, news flash Kofi…. that’s NEVER going to happen! They couldn’t shut me up on The Real World and so far no one has been able to shut me up here in the WWE! People have always told me that I was annoying… that I was arrogant…that I was all talk.

Miz grabs the microphone from Eve’s hands. Miz looks right at the camera with a serious look on his face.

Miz: But it doesn’t matter what any of them said… because they could never change me. Just like all of those people and all of these fans… you’re jealous of me Kofi. Yeah… you’re jealous of my looks and my success. And this past Monday on Raw, I know that you attacked me because I’m your biggest threat to getting a shot at the United States Championship…. Thankfully the beautiful Maryse finally showed her affection towards me by helping me out after your cheap shot. She may like playing hard to get, but she just couldn’t stand back and see this face get messed up by some wild punk like you Kofi. So tonight… I’m going to show you Kofi Kingston that not only can you not shut me up… but that as long as I’m around on Raw… you’ll never get a shot at the United States Championship before me.

Miz gets closer to the camera.

Miz: And I’d like to dedicate my inevitable victory over Kofi Kingston up next to the sexiest diva in all of the WWE… The Diva’s Champion, Maryse! Baby… you said you wanted me to impress you?..... Well just watch my match up next. I’m sure you’re going to love what you see…. BECAUSE I’M THE MIZ…..AND I’M….. AWESOME!

Miz walks away.

Cole: The Miz goes one-on-one with Kofi Kingston when we return to WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“AWESOME!” “I Came To Play” by Downstait plays. The crowd boos as The Miz makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 231 pounds, The Miz.

Cole: Welcome back to WWE Superstars as we get ready for the Raw portion of the show. The Miz making his way to the ring, looking cocky and confident as usual. And King, we heard some strong comments from Miz before the break.

King: Well Miz and Kofi have been going back and forth for awhile now. It all started off about two months back where Miz eliminated Kofi Kingston in a battle royal and wouldn’t shut up about it. Ever since then, Miz has been more and more of a thorn in Kofi’s side.

Cole: Right now, Miz is convinced that he’ll be the next United States Champion, that he’s better than Kofi and everyone else, and that he’ll get Maryse to be his girlfriend. Some list there.

“S.O.S.” by Collie Buddz plays. The crowd cheers as Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring.

Lilian: And his opponent, from Ghana, West Africa, weighing in at 218 pounds, Kofi Kingston.

King: That is some list, and everything on that list has brought about this match tonight. Kofi also is competing for the next United States Title shot, and this past Monday on Raw, Maryse was a factor in this feud.

Cole: That’s right. Miz was at ringside for the diva’s match and after the match, Kofi came out to get some retribution for Miz costing him his match last week on Raw. Kofi was finally taking it to Miz, until the seemingly uninterested Diva’s Champion distracted Kofi and helped The Miz.

King: Well who knows where the Miz and Maryse relationship is going. But we do know where this feud is going. And judging by the way Kofi looks right now, this one’s going to be a fight. I can’t wait for this one!

Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz

The match starts off with Kofi running right at Miz, taking him down and striking him with a fury of punches until Miz can escape and roll out of the ring to regroup. The match progresses as an even back and forth contest between the two men. Towards the end, Miz is in control of the match. Miz grabs Kofi and delivers a jawbreaker than stuns Kofi. Miz tosses Kofi into a corner. Miz taunts in the opposite corner, runs at Kofi and delivers his special corner clothesline. Miz goes for the cover, 1…2…Kofi kicks out. Miz gets up and bends down so he’s in Kofi’s face. Miz smacks around Kofi as he screams in Kofi’s face “Just Stay Down! You Can’t Beat Me Kofi!” Miz then taunts and the crowd boos him. Miz waits as Kofi slowly gets up and then goes for a running knee lift, but Kofi moves out of the way at the last second and sweeps out Miz’s legs. Kofi gets on Miz and starts punching away at him. Kofi gets up as Miz slowly gets up too. Kofi hits Miz with a double back hand chop. Kofi then runs off the ropes and connects with a jumping forearm smash to Miz. Miz gets back to his feet all shaken up. Kofi grabs Miz and delivers a Russian leg sweep.

Kofi gets to his feet all fired up as is the crowd! Kofi runs off the ropes at Miz, does his Boom Boom shoulder taunt as the crowd chants along, and connects with the BOOM DROP! Kofi goes for the cover, 1…2…Miz just kicks out. Kofi gets back to his feet and does his Boom hand taunt as he waits for Miz to get up. Kofi goes for TROUBLE IN PARADISE, but MIZ DUCKS IT, making Kofi crash to the mat! Miz then stalks Kofi as he gets back up to his feet. Miz grabs Kofi from behind and sets up for the SKULL CRUSHING FINALE, but Kofi gets out of it and rolls Miz up with a SMALL PACKAGE! The cover, 1…2…Miz kicks out. Both men get to their feet at the same time, but Kofi manages to strike first with a dropkick that sends Miz back into the corner. Kofi runs at Miz in the corner, jumps up above the top rope and starts punching Miz. Miz manages to sneak his arm in rakes Kofi in the eyes to stop him. Miz then gets out from underneath Kofi, grabs his head and drops him down to the mat for a neckbreaker! Miz rolls Kofi up, but puts his FEET ON THE ROPES which is undetected by the referee. Kofi squirms to get out of it as the referee counts, 1…2…3 MIZ WINS the match!

Winner: The Miz

Lilian: Here is your winner, The Miz!

Right as the three is counted, Miz rolls out of the ring. Kofi angrily stares down the Miz through the ropes. Miz starts to walk up the ramp backwards with a huge grin on his face as the crowd boos him. Kofi goes over to the referee and complains to him about what happened. Miz taunts and screams “ALL DAY LONG!” Kofi goes over to the ropes, points at Miz and yells at him “THIS IS OVER MIZ!”

King: And The Miz cheats to win the match. How did we not see that one coming? But Miz doesn’t care how he wins. In Miz’s eyes, a win’s a win. I wonder if Maryse was impressed by that.

Cole: Well Kofi Kingston isn’t too pleased with what happened, and who can blame him? Trust me King, this one’s far from over. Well still to come tonight is The Hart Dynasty taking on D-Generation X for the first time in our main event. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage, we see ECW’s backstage reporter Savannah with all three members of The Hart Dynasty.

Savannah: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time, Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, and Natalya, The Hart Dynasty. Not guys, this Sunday you could be chosen to be the third team in the Tag Team Championship match. But before that, tonight you’ll have to face your toughest challenge yet, D-Generation X. What are your thoughts on this match?

Natalya: First off, we’d like to thank Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase for making this match happen. Look at these two. Do they seem nervous? I don’t think so. And that’s because it doesn’t matter who The Hart Dynasty faces. It could be The Colons… it could be those thugs Cryme Tyme… or it could be two degenerates past their prime acting like mischievous kids. Well tonight, we slap some reality back into those has-beens and show them what the future looks like. The Hart Dynasty is destined for greatness. The Tag Team Champions know it, which is why they’ll be the only real threat at Cyber Sunday when Tyson and David get voted into the triple threat Tag Team Title match. But as much as we respect Priceless, even they can’t stop Tyson and David from the inevitable… and that is The Hart Dynasty walking out this Sunday the NEW Tag Team Champions!

Smith: Tonight… DX will get just a small sample of the beating that could happen in four days. So Hunter… Shawn… you better pray that we don’t get voted in at Cyber Sunday… because just like you will tonight… you’ll fall to The Hart Dynasty!

Kidd: We’re better than the best…. PERIOD!

The Hart Dynasty walks off to go to the ring.

Mathews: When we return, The Hart Dynasty will take on D-Generation X. Our main event is up next here on WWE Superstars.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“New Foundation” plays. The crowd boos as The Hart Dynasty make their way to the ring.

Chimel: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Natalya, at a combined weight of 459 pounds, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith, The Hart Dynasty.

Mathews: Welcome back to WWE Superstars and it’s time now for our main event. The Hart Dynasty making their way down to the ring as they get ready to face their toughest challenge to date.

Striker: This is going to be a match that really tests the young stars Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith, but I think The Hart Dynasty has what it takes to pull off the victory here tonight.

Mathews: Well with a victory here tonight, that may impress our fans enough to vote for them to be the third team in the triple threat Tag Team Championship match. And as we heard before the break, if they get voted in this Sunday, they vow victory.

“ARE YOU READY?!” “Break It Down” by Chris Warren plays. The crowd cheers as Triple H and Shawn Michaels make their way to the ring.

Chimel: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 480 pounds, “The Game” Triple H and “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X.

Striker: If The Hart Dynasty gets voted in on Sunday, this will be one of the teams they will face along with the Tag Team Champions. This is a nice match to help them prepare for Cyber Sunday if they get voted in.

Mathews: Yes it is. As you said, it’ll be the champions Priceless verses DX verses the team that you the fans vote for. And speaking of Priceless, they’re the reason this match is happening right now. Rhodes and DiBiase talked to Vickie Guerrero and Tommy Dreamer and got this match made.

Striker: Well I commend them because now we get to see this great match for the first time ever. I think they did the right thing. Priceless had to fight on Raw while DX just sat at ringside and then cost them the match. But right now, DX will have to face off against the new generation of The Hart Dynasty.

D-Generation X vs. The Hart Dynasty

The match begins with Kidd and HBK starting it out for their teams. The match continues as an even tag team contest between both teams. Towards the end, Smith and HBK are the two legal men, with Smith in control of the match. Smith grabs HBK around the waist and delivers a belly-to-belly suplex, but holds onto his grip. Smith gets back up and delivers another belly-to-belly suplex, but continues to hold onto his grip. Smith gets up and this time delivers a belly-to-belly overhead suplex to HBK. The cover, 1…2…HBK kicks out. Smith drags HBK over to his corner and tags in Kidd. Kidd gets in and starts stomping away at HBK. Kidd sits HBK up and hits him with a hard kick right to the chest. The cover, 1…2…HBK kicks out. Kidd lifts HBK up and delivers a neckbreaker onto his knee. Kidd taunts to the crowd and they heavily boo him. Kidd goes to the apron and goes for a slingshot elbow drop, but HBK puts his knees up to reverse it. HBK crawls towards his corner, but Kidd grabs his foot to stop him. Kidd tries to drag him back, but HBK stands up on his other foot and connects with an enzuigiri to the back of Kidd’s head! HBK and Kidd both crawl towards their corners.

HBK tags in Triple H just as Kidd tags in Smith. Both men run in and exchange punches, but Triple H gets the better of the exchange. Triple H goes to irish whip Smith, but Smith reverses and tosses Triple H off the ropes. Smith ducks down for a back body drop, but Triple H counters with a facebreaker knee smash, which stuns Smith. Triple H runs at Smith and knocks him down with a clothesline. Smith gets back up and Triple H hits him with a running high knee strike. Triple H lifts Smith up and tosses him off the ropes. As Smith comes back, Triple H delivers a Double A Spinbuster to him. Triple H taunts and the crowd goes crazy! Smith slowly gets back up and Triple H kicks him in the gut. Triple H sets up for the PEDIGREE, but before he can execute it, Kidd comes in and delivers a ROUNDHOUSE KICK to the head of Triple H that knocks him down! HBK comes in and goes to clothesline Kidd, but Kidd ducks it and catches HBK with a spinning heel kick, which knocks HBK down! Kidd goes over to a regrouping Smith and tells him that they should finish this. Smith lifts Triple H up as Kidd goes out to the apron. Kidd measures up and goes for the HART ATTACK, but right as Kidd springboards into the ring HBK gets up and catches Kidd with SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Smith turns his head to see what happen which allowed Triple H to punch Smith in the head a few times to get out of his grip. Triple H then kicks Smith in the gut and delivers the PEDIGREE! Triple H goes for the cover, 1...2...3 DX WINS the match!

Winners: D-Generation X

Chimel: Here are your winners, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X!

After the match, DX celebrate in the ring as the crowd goes wild. DX does the DX chops in the middle of the ring, when all of a sudden PRICELESS COME OUT and attack DX from behind! Priceless stomp repeatedly on DX as the arena fills with boos. The Hart Dynasty gets back up and joins Priceless. Rhodes and DiBiase then stalk HBK as he slowly gets back to his feet and hit him with the HIGH LOW! Rhodes and DiBiase then direct Kidd and Smith to take out Triple H. Kidd goes out to the apron and Smith lifts up Triple H. Kidd springboards into the ring and the Hart Dynasty connect with the HART ATTACK! The Hart Dynasty taunt that DX is done as Priceless look on clapping with an approving look on their faces. Rhodes and DiBiase then get in the faces of a fallen DX and yell at them "THIS IS WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN THIS SUNDAY!"

Just then, “MacMilitant” plays. The crowd cheers as Theodore Long makes his way out onto the stage with a microphone. Priceless look over at Long on the stage confused.

Long: Well playas, it looks like you got what you wanted. You gave DX a beating just three days before your big Tag Team Title match. But I’m not out here to talk about that. You see earlier tonight I was approached by DX. They told me that since you guys wanted to give them a match, they wanted to return the favor. So after hearing them out, I’ve decided to make a match for tomorrow night on Smackdown. It’ll be the two of you, Rhodes and DiBiase taking on the team that beat you two weeks ago….. CRYME TYME!

The crowd cheers for the match as Priceless look furious about the match being made.

Mathews: WOW! What a match that Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long just made. Tomorrow night it’ll be Priceless verses Cryme Tyme!

Striker: I can’t believe this. Just two days before their big title defense, Priceless now has to face two thugs, who could possibly be the third team at Cyber Sunday.

Mathews: Well that’s going to be a huge match tomorrow night on Smackdown. Don’t miss it and make sure you vote for who you want to see as the third team in the Tag Team Title match at Cyber Sunday. That’s it for WWE Superstars this week. Goodnight everyone!

Smackdown Preview
October 23, 2009
Columbia, South Carolina

Last week on Smackdown, General Manager Theodore Long finally stood up to The Revolution leaders Edge and Chris Jericho. Long announced that both men would be punished. Edge was the first to get his punishment last week when he took on John Morrison and the Undertaker in a handicap match. Even though Edge suffered a beating, he managed to survive thanks to his Revolution partners. Jericho, who had been kicked out of the arena earlier by Long, came back to not only help Edge win but took out all of their adversaries with a steel chair. Theodore Long then came out and announced that this week on Smackdown, Jericho would get his punishment match when he faces off against CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio in a three-on-one handicap match. With just two days until his World Title match at Cyber Sunday, can Jericho survive against his three possible referees for this Sunday?

Speaking of Cyber Sunday, in two days we will see two more matches from Smackdown. Kane and Undertaker will settle their sibling rivalry while Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison will battle it out for the Intercontinental Championship. But before those matches, the four of them will be involved in a tag team match this week on Smackdown. It will be Revolution partners Shelton and Kane taking on Undertaker and Morrison. Last week, Morrison and Undertaker lost to Edge thanks to these two men along with the rest of The Revolution. Will Undertaker and Morrison get a little tag team retribution before the big pay off in two days, as we get a preview for this Sunday?

Last week, Michelle McCool became the number one contender to the Women’s Championship by beating Maria. After the match though, Michelle sent a message to the champion Melina by taking out her good friend Maria along with the help of her protégé Alicia Fox. After Michelle took out both Gail Kim and Maria, Melina is now all fired up to get some revenge for her friends. This week on Smackdown, Melina will defend her Women’s Championship against Michelle McCool. Can Michelle fulfill her goal of becoming the first diva to ever have held both the Diva’s and Women’s Championships or will Melina show Michelle why she’s the champion?

This Sunday at Cyber Sunday, the Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Priceless defends against D-Generation X and the team chosen between The Colons, The Hart Dynasty, and Cryme Tyme. Last night on WWE Superstars, DX took on The Hart Dynasty, which was a match made by the champions. After the match and the beat down by Priceless, Theodore Long came out. He announced that DX wanted to return the favor to Priceless and made a match for them on Smackdown. It will be Priceless in a rematch against Cryme Tyme. The last time they faced Cryme Tyme they lost, but it was also when Cody Rhodes had suffered a minor concussion. With Priceless healthy this time, they look to show Cryme Tyme that they can’t beat them. Can Cryme Tyme make it two wins over the champions, or will Priceless get their retribution against the Brooklyn duo?

Last week on Smackdown, we saw the new team of Mike Knox and Charlie Haas defeat R-Truth and Curt Hawkins, backing up Haas’s words from before the match. Last night on WWE Superstars however, Haas fell to R-Truth in a one-on-one contest. Tonight on Smackdown, Knox will take on the other half of his opponents from last week, Curt Hawkins. With his new partner Charlie Haas in his corner, can Knox pull off the victory or just like R-Truth, can Hawkins get the singles victory after losing the tag team match last week?

Tune into Friday Night Smackdown this week for all of this and more as we are just two days away from Cyber Sunday.

Confirmed Matches:
Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio
Kane & Shelton Benjamin vs. Undertaker & John Morrison
Women’s Championship – Melina vs. Michelle McCool
Priceless vs. Cryme Tyme
Mike Knox vs. Curt Hawkins

Smackdown
October 23, 2009
Columbia, South Carolina

WWE Signature Video is shown

A recap video from last week’s Smackdown is shown. The video starts off with Edge and Chris Jericho coming out. They talk about how dominant The Revolution is and that no one, including Theodore Long, can stop them from taking over Smackdown. Theodore Long comes out and tells them that he’s had enough of them and that he’s in charge, not them. Long decides that because of all the disrespect they’ve showed him and because they physically assaulted him last week, they’ll each have punishment matches. Long announces that Edge’s match will be tonight and it’ll be a handicap match against John Morrison and the Undertaker. We then see later in the night Edge and Jericho run into Long with security backstage. Long has the security throw Jericho out so that he wouldn’t interfere in the main event. We then see clips from the main event handicap match of Edge verses Morrison and Undertaker. We see Morrison setting up for Starship Pain on Edge, but Ziggler, Shelton, and Umaga come down to distract him. Punk, Rey, and Jeff come down and attack them, but Khali comes out and turns the tables. We then cut to Morrison springboarding to the outside with a 450 Splash onto the four Revolution members on the outside. In the ring, Edge sets up for a Spear, but Undertaker counters with a big boot. Just then, the fire pyro goes off and Kane comes down to the ringside area and gets up on the apron to distract the referee and Undertaker. Just then, surprisingly Jericho comes out through the crowd and delivers the Codebreaker to Undertaker. Edge hits the Spear on Undertaker and picks up the win. After the match, Punk, Jeff, Morrison, and Rey take out Ziggler, Shelton, Khali, and Umaga on the outside as Kane Chokeslams Undertaker in the ring. Morrison and Rey get in the ring and dropkick Kane out of the ring, while Punk and Jeff toss Jericho out of the ring. The four men corner Edge and beat him up. Jericho gets back into the ring with a steel chair and takes out all four men with a chair shot. Just then, Long comes out and announces that next week Jericho will take on Punk, Jeff, and Rey in a three-on-one handicap match. The video ends with Jericho pissed and The Revolution trying to calm him down.

Smackdown Opening Video is shown as “Let It Roll” by Divide The Day plays

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild!

Grisham: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Friday Night Smackdown! We’re live here in Columbia, South Carolina, just two days away from the most interactive pay per view of the year, Cyber Sunday. And JR, what a night we have in stored.

JR: That’s right Todd. Tonight, we’ll get a preview of two of the matches at Cyber Sunday in one match. It’ll be Revolution members Kane and the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin taking on the Undertaker and John Morrison. What a tag team match that’s going to be.

Grisham: And that’s not all. Our main event tonight will be Theodore Long’s punishment match for the co-leader of The Revolution, Chris Jericho, as he will take on all three of his possible referees for his World Title match this Sunday. It’ll be Chris Jericho in a three-on-one handicap match against CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio.

JR: All of that and so much more here tonight on Smackdown. Let’s get this night started!

“Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays. The crowd boos as Edge and Chris Jericho make their way to the ring with The Great Khali, and Ranjin Singh.

Justin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the leaders of The Revolution, Chris Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge.

Grisham: And of course, what would a Smackdown be without The Revolution leaders coming out to complain about everything… again.

JR: Well as you can see, that’s the World Heavyweight Champion Edge and the number one contender Chris Jericho. This Sunday at the pay per view they will face each other for the World Title, but right now they don’t look too happy.

Grisham: Last week on Smackdown, Theodore Long announced that Jericho and Edge had gone too far and will be punished. Edge got his punishment last week, and now this week Jericho will get his. I’m sure JR that’s what they’re going to complain about.

Edge and Jericho with Khali and Ranjin by their side get into the ring and grab microphones. They both have pissed off looks on their faces. The crowd chants “You Suck!” at The Revolution leaders.

Edge: Tonight, Chris and I are out here to tell all of you one thing…. We Told You So!

The crowd boos the comment.

Edge: You see, all of you people stood by Theodore Long’s decision making and said that it was unbiased. You said that we were crazy to think that Teddy Long is biased against us…. But you we all WRONG!

Jericho: What? You don’t believe us? Teddy Long practically came out and said it last week to us. He personally made punishment matches for the two of us, and only the two of us. Now if you don’t think that’s the definition of being biased, than you people are even dumber than we thought.

The crowd boos Jericho for making fun of them.

Edge: Oh yeah. See, last week Teddy Long put me in a two-on-one handicap match against John Morrison and the Undertaker. Thankfully I’m so ridiculously good that I managed to escape my punishment match not only free of injury… but with a win!

The crowd chants “You Suck!” at Edge.

Edge: No I don’t. I guess you people are not only stupid, but you’re hard of hearing too because I just told you that I…WON!

The crowd boos heavily.

Edge: But as challenging as my match was, Long stacked the deck even higher for Chris Jericho tonight.

Jericho: Teddy Long has put me in a three-on-one handicap match tonight against the three men that could be the Special Guest Referee for our match this Sunday. And you know what….he picked all of them for a reason. I know it. He wants them to release all of their anger on me tonight… hoping that I can’t make it to Cyber Sunday.

The crowd cheers for the thought of Jericho getting hurt.

Jericho: Theodore Long dreads having myself and Edge in the main event so much that he’d sink this low just to fix it. Well guess what Long… it’s not going to work! I can stand up to your goons Long… and I have The Revolution backing me up to ensure that if anything changes at Cyber Sunday… it’ll be who the choices are for our Special Guest Referee!

“MacMilitant” plays. The crowd cheers as Theodore Long comes out onto the stage with a microphone in his hands. Edge and Jericho look over at Long very displeased.

Long: Look playas, I can see you’re very upset with my decisions. But I can assure you that I made these punishment matches not because I hate you two… but because the two of you deserve it!

The crowd fills with cheers.

Long: In all my years of being a General Manager in the WWE, I’ve never been disrespected as much as the two of you have recently. For the past two months, all you two have done is complain about every little thing that has happened to you. You’ve verbally assaulted me for weeks about me being biased and then two weeks ago… you physically assaulted me!

The crowd boos.

Long: And then Chris, last week you disobeyed my orders when I told you to leave the arena. That just shows how much respect you have for me and my decisions. Now contrary to what you think, this match tonight is not to make sure you don’t make it to Cyber Sunday so that match changes. I’ve told you guys numerous times that I have no problem with this match.

Jericho: You claim you’re not trying to change the Cyber Sunday match, yet two days before our World Title match, you put me in a handicap match. If you really didn’t have a problem with us being in the main event, you wouldn’t have made this match and you wouldn’t have added a Special Guest Referee to our match!

Edge: You see Long, we’re not falling for your tricks. You may have all of these idiots in the audience fooled… but not us. We’re smarter than that. So we’ve decided to go above your head. We filed a formal complaint to the WWE Board Of Directors and to Mr. McMahon himself. It won’t be long until they realize what we’ve been saying all along and fire your ass! And then… our take over… The Revolution… will be complete!

Edge and Jericho stare at Long with smirks on their faces as the arena fills with boos.

Long: Well Edge… Jericho… I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out what happens. But right now, I’m still your boss. I still run this show. The main event tonight will happen… and to make sure last week’s chaos doesn’t happen again, if you Edge or anyone else from The Revolution interferes in the main event tonight… you’ll be SUSPENDED!

The crowd cheers as Edge and Jericho get angry.

Edge: WHAT?! YOU CAN”T DO THAT!

Long: I can and I just did playa! And Chris… good luck tonight! Holla!

Long walks backstage as Edge and Jericho are furious in the ring.

JR: Our General Manager standing up to The Revolution and laying down the law for them. I think Long made the right decision and there’s no way any of The Revolution members will interfere now since they’ll be suspended.

Grisham: Well obviously Edge and Jericho aren’t happy with that decision, but like you said JR, it is the right decision to make after last week’s chaos. What will happen to Jericho in our main event knowing The Revolution won’t be able to have his back? Stay tuned. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays. The crowd boos as Kane and Shelton Benjamin make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing The Revolution, at a combined weight of 571 pounds, Kane and the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown as we get ready for our opening contest. And here come two Revolution members that are getting ready for their big matches this Sunday.

JR: That’s right. This Sunday, Kane will take on his brother The Undertaker while Shelton Benjamin will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against John Morrison.

Grisham: We’ve seen interactions for weeks between these men, and right now we’ll get a preview of both Cyber Sunday matches in this tag team match.

“Ain’t No Make Believe” by Stonefree Experience plays. The crowd cheers as John Morrison makes his way to the ring.

Justin: Their opponents, first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 219 pounds, John Morrison.

JR: And here comes the “Friday Night Delight” John Morrison. And you can tell that Morrison is ready for his match this Sunday against Shelton Benjamin.

Grisham: Well last week on WWE Superstars, Morrison defeated Dolph Ziggler to become the number one contender to Shelton’s title. And now this Sunday, Morrison gets a chance to once again become Intercontinental Champion.

JR: Well you know that Morrison is going to want to get some revenge here after Shelton and the rest of The Revolution interfered during the main event handicap match last week.

The lights go out and the gong sounds. “Graveyard Symphony” plays. The crowd cheers as Undertaker makes his way to the ring.

Justin: And his partner, from Death Valley, weighing in at 299 pounds, The Undertaker.

Grisham: Well not only will Morrison be looking to get some revenge tonight for last week, but so will this man, his partner, The Undertaker.

JR: Well last week, Morrison and Undertaker teamed up to take on Edge in a handicap match, which they were in control of until The Revolution came down and cost them the match.

Grisham: And you have to think that the only thing going through Undertaker’s mind right now is his brother Kane delivering a Chokeslam to him after the match was over. Well this Sunday, the sibling rivalry will be settled when Undertaker and Kane go one-on-one. But right now, it’s a double preview of Cyber Sunday.

Kane & Shelton Benjamin vs. Undertaker & John Morrison

The match begins with Shelton and Undertaker starting things off for their teams. The match progresses as an even tag team match. Towards the end, Morrison and Kane are the legal men. Kane catches Morrison off the ropes for a sidewalk slam, but Morrison manages to twist flip around and reverse it into a DDT. Morrison crawls to his corner and tags in Undertaker. Undertaker runs into the ring and starts punching away at Kane. Undertaker goes to irish whip Kane, but Kane reverses it. Kane pulls Undertaker in for a clothesline, but Undertaker ducks it. Undertaker lifts Kane up on his shoulder and drops Kane down face first on the turnbuckle for Snake Eyes. Undertaker runs off the ropes and delivers a big boot to the staggering Kane. Kane gets back up in the corner and Undertaker runs at him for a corner splash, but Kane moves out of the way just in time, making Undertaker crash chest first into the corner. A stumbling Undertaker turns around right into a huge uppercut by Kane. Kane goes to the top rope as Undertaker slowly gets up. Kane jumps off and goes for a flying clothesline, but Undertaker moves out of the way, causing Kane to crash to the mat. Undertaker grabs Kane’s arm and twists it. Undertaker walks over to the corner with Kane’s arm in hand and goes for Old School, but Kane grabs Undertaker’s arm with his other hand and pulls Undertaker down from the corner. Kane stalks Undertaker and grabs him by the throat for a Chokeslam, but then Undertaker counters back by also grabbing Kane’s throat for a Chokeslam. Both men struggle for control, until they both shove each other off and then come back with a big boot, taking each other down. Kane and Undertaker fall by their respective corners and tag in their partners.

Morrison and Shelton run in at each other and start exchanging punches. Morrison takes the advantage by dropkicking Shelton to the floor and then delivering a running knee strike to Shelton’s face. Kane comes in to attack Morrison, but Undertaker runs in and clotheslines Kane and himself out of the ring. Undertaker and Kane get up and fight each other up the ramp, to the backstage area! In the ring, Morrison tosses Shelton into a corner. Morrison runs to the corner and delivers a monkey flip to Shelton out of the corner, but Shelton manages to land on his feet. Shelton turns around and runs at Morrison for a clothesline, but Morrison reverses it right into an STO Backbreaker, followed right up by a neckbreaker. Morrison positions Shelton by the corner. Morrison points at the corner and the crowd goes wild! Morrison looks to be setting up for Starship Pain, but just then the crowd boos as ZIGGLER MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING and onto the apron to distract Morrison! Morrison goes to hit Ziggler, but the referee stops Morrison and argues with Ziggler to get off the apron and out of here. As Ziggler argues with the referee, Morrison turns around and gets hit with a THRUST KICK BY UMAGA, who had comes out through the crowd! Umaga gets out of the ring and Ziggler gets down from the apron. Shelton gets up and looks at a downed Morrison with a confused look on his face. Shelton looks over at Ziggler and Umaga and says “WHY ARE YOU OUT HERE?!” Morrison slowly gets back up using the ropes. Shelton directs his attention back to Morrison and hits him with PAY DIRT! Shelton goes for the cover, 1…2…3 SHELTON AND KANE WIN!

Winners: Kane & Shelton Benjamin

Justin: Here are your winners, Kane and Shelton Benjamin!

After the match, Ziggler and Umaga get into the ring. Ziggler stands there clapping with a smile on his face as Shelton has his head held down, looking displeased with what just happened. Ziggler goes over to Shelton and grabs his arm to raise it up in victory, but Shelton rips his arm away from Ziggler. Shelton looks at Ziggler and says to him, “WHY ARE YOU TWO OUT HERE?!” Ziggler then says, “We came out to help you!” Shelton yells back, “I DIDN’T NEED YOU! I DIDN’T WANT TO WIN THIS WAY!” Ziggler and Shelton stare each other down. Ziggler then looks over at Umaga and tells him to lift Morrison up. Umaga lifts Morrison back to his feet and holds him up. Ziggler then grabs the Intercontinental Title from the referee and shoves it at Shelton. Ziggler then yells at Shelton “HIT HIM! NOW!” Shelton looks down at the title, then over at Morrison. Ziggler screams “FINISH HIM!” Shelton hesitates a bit more but finally runs at Morrison and HITS HIM WITH THE TITLE BELT! Ziggler comes up to Shelton and pats him on the back and says “That’s much better!” Ziggler and Umaga raise Shelton’s arms high, but Shelton doesn’t look too proud about his actions.

JR: Well after some arguing between The Revolution members, Shelton Benjamin did what Ziggler wanted him to and sent a statement to his Cyber Sunday opponent by cracking him in the skull with the Intercontinental Title belt.

Grisham: Shelton doesn’t look too pleased about his actions, but then again he did end up doing what Ziggler told him to do. But anyway, Shelton picks up a huge win and some momentum going into Cyber Sunday against John Morrison. Now the question is what match will they face off in?

JR: Well ladies and gentlemen, still to come tonight is our huge main event featuring Chris Jericho against CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, we see Shelton Benjamin walking back from the ring with his head held down. Ziggler comes up behind Shelton, grabs his shoulder, and turns him around emphatically.

Ziggler: What was that all about?!

Shelton looks at Ziggler with a confused look on his face.

Shelton: What was what all about?

Ziggler: Don’t play dumb with me. You screamed at me and Umaga for helping you out… and then you looked like you felt bad about winning the match like that… And don’t think I didn’t see you hesitate when I told you to hit Morrison with the title. What’s wrong with you man?

Shelton: Look… I didn’t ask for your help.

Ziggler: I know you didn’t, but we’re a team. We’re all part of The Revolution. And if we want to succeed, we need to help each other out… even if that means getting a little dirty once in awhile. I thought you understood that.

Shelton: Just leave me alone.

Shelton goes to walk away, but Ziggler stops him.

Ziggler: What’s your problem?!

Shelton: My problem is you’re doing things I didn’t ask you to and then ordering me to do something I don’t want to do. If you wanted Morrison to be punished so badly, you could’ve done it yourself.

Ziggler: You think I wanted you to do that for me?.... I wanted you to hit Morrison with your title because you needed to make an impact. That’s what our leaders would’ve wanted. If Edge or Jericho were you out there, they would’ve hit Morrison before you even thought of it.

Ziggler stares straight at Shelton with an intense look on his face.

Ziggler: You know what Shelton…. Maybe you’re not cut out to be apart The Revolution!

Shelton looks away for a second and then stares right back at Ziggler with a fire in his eyes.

Shelton: Look… Just let it rest already! I did what you wanted me to! I hit Morrison with my Intercontinental Title… which is something that you’ve never had. So I’d think again before you start talking down to me!

Ziggler takes a small step back.

Ziggler: Fine. I’ll back off. But all I’m trying to tell you is that you need to use that fire and intensity you just had this Sunday and for the rest of the Revolutionary movement.

Shelton is about to walk away but stops. Shelton turns back around and stares right at Ziggler.

Shelton: Oh and do me a favor… don’t help me out this Sunday… because unlike you, not only do I not want it… but I don’t need it!

Shelton turns around and walks away as Ziggler looks on displeased with Shelton’s comments.

Grisham: Whoa. A lot of tension there between Dolph Ziggler and Shelton Benjamin.

JR: Yeah, but I’m sure they’ll be fine. Shelton’s probably just stressed about his title defense this Sunday.

Backstage we see backstage reporter Eve with Melina.

Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the Women’s Champion, Melina. Now Melina, in just a few moments, you’ll be defending your Women’s Championship against Michelle McCool. Last week, Michelle became the number one contender after she beat Maria, but then after the match, Michelle and Alicia brutally attacked your friend Maria. What are your thoughts on this and your title match?

Melina: You know Eve… this match is more than another title defense for me. Michelle has made this personal! Last month, Michelle took out one of my good friends Gail Kim with an unwarranted and brutal assault. And then last week, she did the same thing to Maria. I’m not sure when they’ll be back. But I guess that’s what Michelle wanted. She wants to take out anyone in her path so that she has an easy road to the Women’s Championship.

Melina holds up her Women’s Title.

Melina: Well I’m not going to let her take this title from me! Tonight… Michelle will get the beating that she deserves!

Melina walks away with a determined look on her face.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Not Enough For Me” plays. The crowd boos as Michelle McCool and Alicia Fox make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Women’s Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied by Alicia Fox, from Palatka, Florida, Michelle McCool.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown as we get ready for diva action. The Women’s Championship is on the line and you can tell that Michelle is ready for this moment.

JR: The past few weeks, Michelle has been dominating the divas division here on Smackdown and has proved that she’s the top contender for the Women’s Title.

Grisham: Michelle has been obsessed with becoming the first diva to have held both the Diva’s and Women’s Championships. Tonight could be the night she fulfills that goal.

“Paparazzi” plays. The crowd cheers as Melina makes her way to the ring.

Justin: And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Women’s Champion, Melina.

JR: Well fulfilling that goal is going to be tougher than Michelle thinks. Melina is the Women’s Champion for a reason. And not only that, but we saw before the commercial break that she’s fired up tonight.

Grisham: That’s right. Melina said that this is not just about the Women’s Title, but it’s also personal. Michelle has taken out two of Melina’s friends. First Gail Kim, and then last week after becoming the number one contender, Michelle and her protégé Alicia Fox took out Maria.

JR: Michelle thinks that Melina is going to have to watch out for her mean streak, but I think Michelle has to worry equally as much about the Women’s Champion. Who’s walking out the Women’s Champion? We’re about to find out.

Women’s Championship
Melina vs. Michelle McCool

The match starts off and progresses as a back and forth match between the two divas. Towards the end, Michelle is in control of the champion. Michelle has Melina in the corner and is choking her with her foot. Michelle puts her foot down after the referee forces her to and then delivers a European uppercut to Melina, that sends the champion to the floor, sitting in the corner. Michelle backs up and measures up Melina. Michelle runs at Melina in the corner and nails her with a running knee strike to the face! Michelle drags Melina out of the corner by her legs and goes for the cover, 1…2…Melina kicks out. Michelle delivers a few knee drops to Melina and then locks in a sleeper hold. Michelle wrenches the sleeper hold and yells at Melina as the crowd claps to try and get Melina back into it. Melina slowly gets to a vertical base and elbows her way out of Michelle’s hold. Melina turns around towards Michelle, grabs her around the waist, and delivers a northern lights suplex with the bridge. The cover, 1…2…Michelle kicks out. Both divas get to their feet. Michelle goes to slap Melina, but Melina ducks it, grabs Michelle and connects with a Russian leg sweep. Melina sits Michelle up and delivers a knee strike to her back. Melina runs off the ropes and hits Michelle with a low dropkick. Melina goes for the cover, 1…2…Michelle kicks out.

Melina gets up and stalks Michelle as she slowly gets back to her feet. Melina runs off the ropes at Michelle, but Michelle counters with a quick tilt-a-whirl slam. Michelle then wipes her hands clean and the crowd boos her. Michelle waits for Melina to get back to her feet and then grabs her. Michelle sets Melina up for the FAITH BREAKER, but Melina starts squirming around and kicks Michelle in the head to get out of it! Melina then grabs Michelle, from behind, does her trademark scream, and connects with the PRIMAL SCREAM! The cover, 1…2…the referee stops as he sees Michelle’s foot on the bottom rope! During the count, Alicia had put Michelle’s foot on the rope for the rope break. Melina saw this and she glares over at Alicia, who is cheering for Michelle on the outside. Melina slides out of the ring and hits Alicia. Melina then grabs Alicia and tosses her hard into the barricade! Melina gets back into the ring as Michelle gets back to her feet. Michelle tries to take advantage and runs at Melina for a boot, but Melina manages to use her flexibility to bend backwards and duck the boot. Melina then kicks Michelle in the gut, sets up, and hits the LAST CALL SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB! Melina goes for the cover, 1…2…3 MELINA WINS the match and RETAINS HER WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP!

Winner: Melina

Justin: Here is your winner and still Women’s Champion, Melina!

The referee gives Melina the Women’s Title and the crowd cheers. Melina gets out of the ring and starts to walk up the ramp backwards. Alicia is down on the outside by the barricade still and Michelle is down and out in the ring. Melina looks into the ring at Michelle with a smile on her face. Melina stops at the top of the ramp and poses with her Women’s Championship as the crowd goes wild.

JR: And Melina manages to keep her Women’s Championship after a hard fought battle. She even managed to overcome the interference by Alicia Fox on the outside.

Grisham: Good job Melina. There’s no doubt Melina feels a little better after getting her hands on the woman who took out two of her friends. Well still to come tonight is our main event handicap match. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, we see Rey Mysterio backstage with the backstage reporter Eve for an interview.

Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Rey Mysterio. Now Rey, tonight you will team with CM Punk and Jeff Hardy to take on Chris Jericho in a handicap match. What are your thoughts on this?

Rey: Well Eve, I think that it’s about time a match like this was made. Chris Jericho has been nothing but disrespectful to Theodore Long. He’s the General Manager of Smackdown. You don’t verbally abuse the General Manager like that. And when I thought Jericho couldn’t sink any lower, two weeks ago he shoved Teddy Long to the ground. When I saw that, I was just as upset and angry and Teddy Long was. So I’m looking forward to stepping up for our General Manager tonight in teaching Chris Jericho a lesson.

Eve: Now you might be facing Jericho tonight, but this Sunday you could be the referee when he faces Edge for the World Title. What’s going to happen if you get…

Eve stops as Edge and Chris Jericho make their way over and onto the screen. Edge looks down at Eve.

Edge: You can go ahead and leave now. We’ll take this from here.

Eve leaves. Edge and Jericho stand on either side of Rey and Rey doesn’t look too pleased about them being there.

Edge: So Rey… what are you going to do if you get picked to be the Special Guest Referee for the greatest match ever?

Rey is about to speak when Edge cuts him off.

Edge: Wait… now before you answer that, listen to what we have to say. Now we know you don’t agree with our recent actions or what we stand for, but this Sunday… it’s not about that at all.

Jericho: Rey… you have a chance to be apart of history. You could be the Special Guest Referee for what could go down as the Greatest Match in WWE history. But there’s something that we want to clear up.

Edge: You see… we can’t have a great competitive match if the referee is messing everything up. We can’t have the referee attacking us, screwing with us, or calling it a no contest just because you don’t want either of us to win.

Jericho: We know you hate the two of us and it’s kind of hard to be biased towards both competitors in the match. So all we’re asking you to do is just… call it down the middle and nothing more.

Edge: Think about it. If you were in our situation and had the chance to put on a great match with a friend of yours, you would want the same thing.

Jericho: Just do the right thing. Can we count on you to do that?

Rey ponders for a second. Rey looks at Edge and then at Jericho.

Rey: You two actually raise up a good point. I mean why should I ruin a possibly classic match?... But then again, if the rolls were reversed, I’m pretty sure the two of you would do everything you could to mess that match up.

Jericho: What? We wouldn’t do that. We have more class than that.

Rey looks at Jericho with a “Yeah right” look.

Rey: Well you guys know I’m a nice guy and like to set a good example… But then again you two and your goons have jumped me for the last few weeks…. And not to mention that you’re trying to take over Smackdown and possibly put me out of a job….. hmmmmm….

Rey ponders again as he moves his hands up and down like a scale.

Rey: You know what… that’s a tough call. I guess you’ll just have to wait and see if I get picked at Cyber Sunday.

Rey walks off with a smile on his face. Edge and Jericho look very displeased.

Edge: Damn it! All three of them have said that! They’re all toying with us!

Jericho: Well if they know what’s good for them, they better not ruin our match and just call it down the middle.

Edge and Jericho walk off.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“It’s A New Day” by Adelitas Way plays. The crowd boos as Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, at a combined weight of 454 pounds, the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown. As you can see, the Tag Team Champions are making their way down to the ring for a rematch from two weeks ago here on Smackdown.

JR: Well two weeks ago, Priceless did lose to Cryme Tyme, but, and I’m not trying to make excuses for them, Priceless was not at a hundred percent, specifically Cody Rhodes. Rhodes was attacked earlier that week on Raw and suffered a minor concussion, which definitely affected them.

Grisham: But this week, there are no excuses for them. This match was made thanks to our General Manager Theodore Long and DX who decided to “return the favor” to Priceless. Well let’s see how the Legacy members do just two days before their title defense.

“Bringin' Da Hood T U” plays. The crowd cheers as Cryme Tyme make their way to the ring.

Justin: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 530 pounds, Shad and JTG, Cryme Tyme.

JR: And speaking of that, in two days at Cyber Sunday, these two men could be involved in the Tag Team Title match. This Sunday, the Tag Team Titles will be on the line as Priceless defends against D-Generation X and a team of the fans’ choosing.

Grisham: That’s right. The third team will be chosen by you the fans. The choices are The Colons, The Hart Dynasty, and these men, Cryme Tyme. And if Cryme Tyme can pick up another victory over the champions, that has to get them more votes for this Sunday.

JR: No doubt that another victory will impress the fans, and that’s what it’s all about for Cryme Tyme and the other two teams. Will Cryme Tyme go 2-0 against the Legacy members? We’re about to find out.

Priceless vs. Cryme Tyme

The match begins with DiBiase and JTG starting it out for their teams. The match progresses as a back and forth tag team match, with a few tags. Towards the end, DiBiase and Shad are the two legal men. DiBiase is stomping on the left leg of Shad, which he and Rhodes have been working on most of the match. DiBiase grabs Shad’s leg and drops his knee onto it, making Shad cringe in pain. DiBiase then gets in a leg lock on Shad, and adds more punishment to it by punching it consistently. Shad crawls for the ropes. Just as Shad is about to reach the ropes, DiBiase lets go of the hold and pulls Shad away from the ropes as much as he can. DiBiase measures up Shad’s leg and delivers a jumping stomp onto it. Shad sits up and holds it in pain, but DiBiase capitalizes by running at Shad and delivering a kick right to Shad’s face. The cover, 1…2…Shad kicks out. DiBiase mounts Shad and starts punching him. DiBiase gets back up and connects with a fist drop. DiBiase continues and delivers a few more fist drops to Shad, ending with a final and calculating fist drop. DiBiase goes for the cover, 1…2…Shad kicks out. DiBiase gets up and stalks Shad, yelling at him to get back up. Shad gets back to his feet slowly and tries to shake out his hurt leg. DiBiase then grabs Shad from behind for Dream Street, but Shad gets out of it quickly and quickly turns it into an STO that took all of Shad’s energy. Both men are down and crawl towards their corners. DiBiase tags in Rhodes just as Shad tags in JTG. Both men run in and trade blows. Rhodes tosses JTG off the ropes, but JTG comes back with a flipping shoulder block. Rhodes gets back up quickly and JTG delivers a few punches to Rhodes before tossing him into a corner.

JTG runs at Rhodes in the corner and delivers the Mug Shot. The cover, 1…2…DiBiase comes in and breaks it up. DiBiase continues to stomp on JTG until the referee forces DiBiase to get out of the ring. JTG turns back to Rhodes, but Rhodes takes advantage by pulling JTG by the pants into the corner so that he hits the middle turnbuckle with his head. Rhodes gets up and pulls JTG to him by his arm, kicks him in the gut, and delivers a DDT. Rhodes gets up quickly and delivers a running knee drop to JTG. The cover, 1…2…JTG kicks out. Rhodes lifts JTG up and sets up for Cross Rhodes, but JTG fights it and battles out of it. JTG tackles Rhodes and the two brawl on the mat. Shad cheers on JTG from the apron, until DiBiase runs over to him on the outside and pulls Shad off the apron. Shad lands on his feet, but his left leg, which Priceless had worked on, buckled. As Shad holds his leg in pain, DiBiase grabs one of the Tag Team Title belts. Shad manages to stand back up on both feet, but DiBiase hits him with the Tag Team Title belt! Back in the ring, we see JTG deliver a running neckbreaker to Rhodes! JTG gets pumped up and waits for Rhodes to get to his feet. JTG glances over at his corner, but sees that Shad isn’t there. JTG goes over to the ropes, puts half his body through the ropes, and grabs DiBiase from behind. JTG pulls DiBiase towards him, but DiBiase manages to SNEAKILY HIT JTG IN THE HEAD WITH THE TAG TEAM BELT, which JTG didn’t see coming and the referee didn’t even see happen! JTG stumbles backwards into Rhodes, who grabs JTG and delivers CROSS RHODES! The cover, 1…2…3 PRICELESS WINS the match!

Winners: Priceless

Justin: Here are your winners, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless!

After the match, DiBiase gets into the ring with the Tag Team Titles. He gives Rhodes his title and the two stand tall holding their Tag Team Titles high in the air as the arena fills with boos. Just then, Triple H and HBK come out onto the stage. Priceless look over at the stage and see DX standing there. DX taunt around their waists for the Tag Team Titles, while Priceless shake their heads “no” and hold the titles high and proud.

JR: Priceless pick up a cheap victory after DiBiase used the Tag Team Title to hit both Cryme Tyme members in the head with the Tag Team Title belt. No doubt they learned that from their mentor and Legacy leader, Randy Orton.

Grisham: And we see DX looking on at Priceless, signaling for those titles. They can’t wait for this Sunday when they get their shot at those belts and to punish Priceless even more. But the question is which team will join them?

JR: That’s a good question. Well still to come tonight, Chris Jericho takes on all three of his possible referees for this Sunday in a handicap match. Stay tuned for more Friday Night Smackdown.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, we go backstage into The Revolution’s locker room. We see Edge and Chris Jericho standing up as Kane, Umaga, Armando Estrada, Dolph Ziggler, The Great Khali, Ranjin Singh, Shelton Benjamin all sit in front of them.

Edge: We’ve called all of you in here for a reason. Things are starting to pick up now. Long is getting worse and worse by the week. He’s already given Chris and I these punishment matches. Who knows what he’ll do next.

Jericho: And not only that, but there are guys here hell bent on stopping us from succeeding. CM Punk…. Jeff Hardy…. Rey Mysterio…. John Morrison…. And The Undertaker! All of these men are out to get us. But… we’re better than all of them.

Edge: We can take these guys, but unfortunately they do have the General Manager on their side... which means all of the decision making power is on their side.

Jericho: Now we’re hoping that Mr. McMahon or the Board Of Directors will come through for us. But until then, we need to maintain our dominance. No mistakes guys! We can’t afford a single slip up here. We need to be as close to perfect as we can if we want to successfully take over Smackdown.

Edge: That’s why this Sunday is so important. We can’t lose control.

Edge and Jericho look over at Kane and Shelton.

Edge: Kane… Shelton… you two need to come out with victories at Cyber Sunday. We can’t let them get any momentum.

Edge looks directly at Shelton.

Edge: Shelton… we need to keep that Intercontinental Championship with The Revolution along with my World Heavyweight Championship. So you need to defeat John Morrison this Sunday no matter what obstacles are in your way.

Jericho looks directly at Kane.

Jericho: And Kane… you need to physically destroy your brother this Sunday. You need to make The Undertaker pay for everything he’s done to you and to me these past two months. No matter what match type gets voted in, I want you to consider your stipulation to be to render your brother unconscious.

Edge and Jericho look around everyone in the room.

Edge: So… do we make ourselves clear?

Everyone nods their heads “yes.”

Jericho: Good… You’re all dismissed for the night.

Kane, Umaga, Estrada, and Shelton walk out of the locker room, but Ziggler hangs back and goes over to Edge and Jericho.

Ziggler: Hey… can I talk to you guys about something?

Edge: Yeah… sure Dolph. What’s on your mind?

Ziggler: Well…. It’s about Shelton.

Jericho: What about him?

Ziggler pauses and thinks.

Ziggler: How do I say this?... I’m worried Shelton might not have what it takes to be apart of this group and our movement. He’s not like the rest of us. He doesn’t have that instinctive rage in him like we do.

Ziggler pauses for a second.

Ziggler: Last week, after he lost the match for us, he shook Rey Mysterio’s hand out of respect. He showed respect to the enemy! And then earlier tonight, he hesitated to finish off Morrison. I had to push him to do it! Look… I’m not trying to get Shelton in trouble. I just wanted to bring that to your attention since I feel like his actions, or lack thereof, could affect us and our mission.

Edge puts his hand on Ziggler’s shoulder.

Edge: Thank you Dolph for bring this to our attention. We’ll have a talk with Shelton at some point about this.

Ziggler leaves the room. Edge and Jericho continue on talking as we fade out to commercial break.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Death Grip” plays. The crowd boos as Mike Knox and Charlie Haas make their way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Charlie Haas, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 293 pounds, Mike Knox.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown as you see the huge, menacing Mike Knox, along with his new partner Charlie Haas. Haas calls Knox and “evil genius” which may be a perfect description of Knox.

JR: Knox is a very diabolical man, but this man is also very intelligent. He knows all of these scientific facts that just amaze you, which Haas says he uses to dissect his opponent and cause more pain.

Grisham: Well we saw that put to use last week when Haas and Knox defeated R-Truth and Curt Hawkins. Can Knox pick up the singles victory this week?

“In The Middle Of It Now” by Disciple plays. The crowd cheers as Curt Hawkins makes his way to the ring.

Justin: And his opponent, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 221 pounds, Curt Hawkins.

JR: And here comes Curt Hawkins, who is just full of energy tonight. Even though Knox has the size advantage, he should in no way underestimate Curt Hawkins.

Grisham: You’re right about that. Hawkins was part of the youngest tag team in history to win the Tag Team Titles. Hawkins knows what it takes to be successful and is looking to further his career now.

JR: Well a win over Knox will help him do that. We saw last night, Hawkins’s friend and partner from last week, R-Truth, defeated Knox’s partner Charlie Haas. Can Hawkins follow R-Truth and get retribution for last week’s tag team loss?

Mike Knox vs. Curt Hawkins

The match starts off and continues as an even contested match-up between the two men. Towards the end, Knox is in control of the match. Knox punches away at Hawkins and then tosses him off the ropes. Knox bends down for a back body drop, but Hawkins reverses it by kicking Knox. Hawkins runs off the ropes and back at Knox, but he gets caught with a huge bicycle kick out of nowhere by Knox. The cover, 1…2…Hawkins kicks out. Knox starts to lift Hawkins up and delivers clubbing blows to the back of Hawkins. Knox lifts Hawkins up in a sidewalk slam position and drops him right onto his knee for a backbreaker. Knox sits Hawkins up and delivers a few knee shots to Hawkins’s back. Knox then digs his knee into the spine of Hawkins to inflict more pain. Knox lifts Hawkins up onto his shoulder and slams Hawkins down to the mat for a front powerslam. Knox goes for the cover, 1…2…Hawkins kicks out. Knox lifts Hawkins up and tosses Hawkins with all of his strength into a corner. Hawkins slams into the corner back first and falls to the mat from the impact. Knox waits in the opposite corner as Hawkins slowly gets back up in the corner. Knox runs at Hawkins in the corner, but Hawkins just moves out of the way, causing Knox to crash chest first into the corner.

Knox turns around and regains his composure as Hawkins gets back to his feet. Knox runs at Hawkins and goes for a clothesline, but Hawkins ducks it. Knox turns around and gets caught with a dropkick by Hawkins, which makes the big man stumble backwards a bit. Hawkins runs at Knox and delivers a running neckbreaker drop. Hawkins is starting to build momentum and has the crowd behind him. Hawkins waits behind Knox as he gets back up, grabs him, and delivers a reverse DDT. Hawkins goes for the cover, 1…2…Knox kicks out. Hawkins then waits as Knox starts to get back to his feet. Hawkins goes to run off the ropes, but Haas grabs Hawkins's foot from the outside to stop him! Hawkins gets distracted by this and yells at Haas on the outside. As the distraction goes on, Knox tries to take advantage by running at Hawkins and going for the FLYING BEAR cross body, but Hawkins moves just in time, making Knox fly and CRASH INTO THE ROPES! Knox gets up very groggy as Haas tries to motivate and warn him. Hawkins grabs Knox and delivers the HANGMAN’S FACEBUSTER! The cover, 1…2…3 HAWKINS WINS the match!

Winner: Curt Hawkins

Justin: Here is your winner, Curt Hawkins!

Curt Hawkins celebrates his victory and taunts to the crowd. As he’s doing that though, Haas comes into the ring and attacks Hawkins from behind. Haas then starts to stomp on Hawkins. Knox gets back to his feet and joins Haas in beating up Hawkins. Just then, the crowd goes wild as R-Truth sprints down to the ring. R-Truth gets into the ring and starts punching away at Haas. R-Truth goes to irish whip Haas, but Haas reverses it and sends R-Truth off the ropes. Haas goes for a clothesline on R-Truth, but R-Truth ducks it, runs off the ropes, and hits Haas with the Lie Detector! The crowd goes crazy and Haas rolls out of the ring due to the momentum. Knox then runs at R-Truth and goes for a big boot, but R-Truth moves out of the way of the boot. Knox turns around right into a corkscrew back kick by R-Truth, which stuns him and makes him stumble backwards towards the ropes. Hawkins gets back up, runs at Knox, and delivers a forceful running dropkick to Knox, which sends Knox through the ropes and to the outside floor. R-Truth and Hawkins stand tall in the middle of the ring as the fans cheer for both of them.

JR: Just when it looked like things were going to get ugly for Hawkins, R-Truth comes out to help him out. R-Truth takes out Charlie Haas and then he and Hawkins work together to take out Mike Knox.

Grisham: After winning last week, the tables turn on both Haas and Knox as they both lose their singles matches this week and then get cleared from the ring. How will they react to this?

JR: Who knows, but I’m sure Haas and Knox will think of something, so R-Truth and Hawkins better watch out. Well don’t forget, still to come tonight is our three-on-one handicap main event. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, we here in the background “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise playing.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown, and right now you’re listening to the official theme song for Cyber Sunday. It’s “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise, off their self-titled debut album, available now. And what a night we’re going to have in just two days. It’s the night where the fans get to make all of the decisions and every single match has a stipulation.

JR: Well this Sunday, the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line as Shelton Benjamin defends his title against John Morrison. Last week, Morrison became the number one contender and now he’ll get his shot to once again be Intercontinental Champion. And you the fans will get to vote on what type of match these two incredible athletes will face off in. Will it be a Ladder Match, a Tables Match, or an Extreme Rules Match?

Grisham: The sibling rivalry will come to an end this Sunday when the Undertaker and Kane go one-on-one. Back at No Mercy, Kane turned on his own brother to join The Revolution. Undertaker wanted revenge on his brother so he made the challenge and Kane accepted it. The only thing left to find out is what match will these two settle their dispute in? Will it be a Street Fight, a First Blood Match, or a Stretcher Match?

JR: And of course our main event will be for the World Heavyweight Championship. The champion Edge takes on his fellow Revolution leader Chris Jericho. At No Mercy, Jericho became the number one contender and Edge retained his World Title. The Revolution has taken over the main event and they claim they will have the greatest match ever. But our General Manager Theodore Long put in one more factor that made both Jericho and Edge very skeptical and angry… a Special Guest Referee. Who will you vote for to be the referee for the all important title match? Will it be CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, or Rey Mysterio?

Grisham: You’ll see all of this and much more come this Sunday at the most interactive pay per view of the year, Cyber Sunday. Don’t forget to vote for the stipulations for each match and tune in live to the pay per view in two days.

We cut backstage and see CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio all making their way to the ring.

JR: And there you see the three men that are the choices to be the Special Guest Referee for the World Title match at Cyber Sunday. But right now, they’re on their way to the ring to take on the number one contender, Chris Jericho. Our main event is next!

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Booyaka 619” by P.O.D. plays. The crowd cheers as Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring.

Justin: The following contest is a three-on-one handicap match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 175 pounds, Rey Mysterio.

Grisham: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown and it’s time now for our main event. And here comes the “Master Of The 619” Rey Mysterio, who will be one of the choices to be the Special Guest Referee at Cyber Sunday.

JR: And speaking of that, earlier tonight we saw Edge and Chris Jericho talking to Rey about their match at Cyber Sunday and trying to persuade Rey to be a fair referee and just let them do their thing.

Grisham: Well Rey didn’t say “yes” and he didn’t say “no,” but I think that as much as Rey hates them, he’ll call it down the middle and not ruin the match.

“No More Words” by Endeverafter plays. The crowd cheers as Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring.

Justin: From Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 225 pounds, Jeff Hardy.

JR: And here comes another man that could be the Special Guest Referee for the World Title match come this Sunday, Jeff Hardy. And last week, we saw Edge and Jericho talking to Jeff about the same thing they talked to Rey about.

Grisham: That’s right. Edge and Jericho were doing everything to convince Jeff to see it from their side. Edge even went as far to compare himself and Jeff, saying they aren’t that different.

JR: But just like Rey, Jeff didn’t seem amused by it and didn’t give Edge and Jericho a straight answer. But just like Rey, I can’t see Jeff doing anything unprovoked.

“This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage plays. The crowd cheers as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.

Justin: Their partner, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 222 pounds, Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk.

Grisham: And I think we can say the same for this man right here, the third choice to be the Special Guest Referee this Sunday, Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk.

JR: Well Punk was the first man that Edge and Jericho talked to about this situation, but just like Rey and Jeff, they got nowhere with it. It’s like Rey, Jeff, and Punk are toying with Edge and Jericho, trying to make them nervous and looking over their shoulder constantly for this Sunday.

Grisham: There’s no doubt that they are trying to play some mind games with Edge and Jericho after everything they’ve done to them. But right now, these three men get to do what they’ve wanted to do for a while and beat the hell out of Jericho.

“Break The Walls Down” plays. The crowd boos as Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring.

Justin: And their opponent, from Manhasset, New York, weighing in at 226 pounds, the co-leader of The Revolution, Chris Jericho.

JR: And here he comes now. The number one contender for the World Title this Sunday and the co-leader of The Revolution, Chris Jericho. And Jericho is obviously not happy about having to fight right now.

Grisham: I don’t think you can blame him. Jericho’s two days away from his World Title match with Edge, and he’s competing against three men that hate him.

JR: And not to mention that his security, The Revolution, is banned from ringside. Can Chris Jericho survive his punishment match against the three possible Special Guest Referees for his World Title match? We’re about to find out.

Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio

The match begins with Punk starting it out with Jericho. The match continues with Punk, Jeff, and Rey mostly in control of the match, tagging each other in and out. Towards the end, Rey is the legal man with Jericho, and Rey is in control. Rey connects with a running headscissors to Jericho, which sets him up on the middle rope. Rey runs off the ropes and goes for the 619, but Jericho ducks it and quickly rolls Rey up with a school boy, 1...2…Rey kicks out. Both men get to a vertical base quickly, but Jericho manages to take control with a wild kick to the gut. Jericho grabs Rey and tosses him shoulder first into the corner. Rey stumbles backwards holding his shoulder. Jericho grabs Rey and delivers a high angled back suplex. Jericho goes for the cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Jericho mounts Rey right after the cover and starts punching him and slamming his head into the mat until the referee tells him to get off. Jericho gets up and yells at the referee. Jericho turns his attention back to Rey, who is slowly getting back up to his feet. Jericho waits for Rey to get up and then hits him with a running bulldog. Jericho looks down at Rey and puts his arm up as the crowd boos him. Jericho springboards off the ropes and connects with the LIONSAULT onto Rey! The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Jericho immediately gets up and grabs Rey’s legs. After some struggle, Jericho turns Rey over for the WALLS OF JERICHO! Jericho yells at the referee to “ASK HIM!” as Rey tries to inch his way over to the ropes in pain. Rey finally makes it to the ropes and the referee forces Jericho to break the hold. Jericho then grabs Rey’s legs and pulls him away from the ropes. Jericho goes to turn Rey over again, but Rey manages to prevent it and kicks Jericho off of him.

Rey starts to crawl towards his corner, but Jericho grabs his leg to stop him. Jericho holds Rey back by his leg, but Rey stands up and kicks Jericho in the back of the head with his other leg. Rey launches forward to his corner and tags in Jeff. Jeff gets in and starts punching away at Jericho. Jeff runs off the ropes at Jericho and hits him with a flying lariat. Jeff lifts Jericho up and goes to toss him into the corner, but Jericho reverses and tosses Jeff towards the corner. Jericho follows Jeff towards the corner, but Jeff runs up the corner and hits Jericho with the Whisper In The Wind! Jeff gets fired up and so does the crowd. Jericho gets back to his feet and gets kicked in the gut by Jeff. Jeff goes for the Twist Of Fate, but Jericho pushes Jeff off and then connects with an enzuigiri. Jericho then runs towards his opponents’ corner and knocks Rey right off the apron. Jericho then grabs Punk’s head and delivers a jawbreaker right on the ropes, to knock him off the apron. Jericho then turns his attention back to Jeff, who is slowly getting back up. Jericho runs at Jeff and goes for the CODEBREAKER, but Jeff manages to reverse it but pushing Jericho off of him! Jeff then grabs Jericho a delivers an atomic drop to Jericho, which stuns him. Rey then gets into the ring and drop toe holds him onto the middle rope. Rey runs off the ropes and connects with the 619 on Jericho! Punk then gets back into the ring, lifts a stunned Jericho onto his shoulders, and delivers the GTS to him! Jeff then goes to the top ropes, jumps off, and connects with the SWANTON BOMB onto Jericho! Jeff goes for the cover, 1…2…3 PUNK, JEFF, AND REY WIN the match!

Winners: CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio

Justin: Here are your winners, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio!

As Punk, Jeff, and Rey celebrate and taunt to the crowd, Edge makes his way to the ring with a steel chair in hand, with Khali behind him. Edge gets into the ring and waits for one of the three men to turn around. Punk turns around first and Edge goes to hit him with the steel chair, but Punk ducks the chair swing. Punk then runs at Edge and clotheslines him over the top rope and to the outside floor. At the same time, Khali gets up on the apron, but Rey and Jeff run at him and deliver a double dropkick to Khali to knock him off the apron. Edge gets up and looks to slide back into the ring, but he sees Punk, Rey, and Jeff all waiting for him. Edge stops himself and smacks the apron of the ring out of frustration and anger. Edge then goes over to Khali, who has just gotten back up, and tells him to grab Jericho from the ring quickly. Khali grabs a hurt and weakened Jericho and pulls him out of the ring. Edge, Jericho, and Khali walk up the ramp. Just as they reach the top of the ramp, Punk grabs a microphone back in the ring.

Punk: Hey Edge… Jericho…

Edge, Jericho, and Khali stop and turn around, facing the ring.

Punk: The three of us just wanted to tell you two that we’re looking forward to getting the chance to referee the Greatest… Match… Ever!... We’ll see you two at Cyber Sunday!

Edge and Jericho stare at Punk, Jeff, and Rey in disgust and anger.

JR: Wow! Well Todd, we talked earlier about the mind games of these three men, and that was clearly evident by CM Punk’s statement right there. Edge and Jericho do not like that at all.

Grisham: You can see the frustration and hatred on the faces of The Revolution leaders. They don’t know what to expect from any of these three men as a referee this Sunday, and neither do we.

JR: Who will be the Special Guest Referee for the World Heavyweight Championship match? Don’t forget to vote for your pick and tune in this Sunday live for the most interactive pay per view of the year, Cyber Sunday. Goodnight everyone!
