No Mercy 10/4/09 Preview
PPV Theme: Adelitas Way - "Scream"
Match Previews:

United States Championship
MVP vs. Big Show

-At No Mercy, the United States Championship will be on the line when the champion MVP defends his title against the Big Show. Three weeks ago on Raw, MVP had the Big Show as a guest on the V.I.P. Lounge. MVP started asking Big Show that if he’s so dominant why didn’t he win the WWE Championship Scramble Match at Unforgiven and why did he get pinned by Orton at the end of the match. Big Show didn’t take too kindly to this and brought up the fact that MVP has never won a World Title while he’s won many. MVP agrees with this statement but says at least he’s a champion now unlike Big Show. Big Show smacked the U.S. Title out of MVP’s hands and went to punch MVP, but MVP ducked, hit Big Show with the U.S. Title belt, and connected with the Drive-By Kick, which left Big Show furious in the ring. That week on WWE Superstars, MVP faced The Miz in a non-titled match. At the end while the referee was distracted, Big Show came out and connected with the Knockout Punch to MVP, which cost MVP the match against Miz. The next week on Raw, Big Show took on Kofi Kingston. At the end while the referee was checking on Kofi, MVP came in the ring and hit Big Show in the head with the U.S. Title belt, which cost him the match against Kofi. After the match a huge brawl between the U.S. Title division began. The brawl ended with Big Show standing tall after delivering a Chokeslam to MVP. Backstage, Big Show complained to Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero about MVP’s actions and how he doesn’t deserve to be the U.S. Champion. Vickie then made a five man number one contenders match for a U.S. Title shot on WWE Superstars that week. On WWE Superstars, after a Knockout Punch to Kofi, Big Show got the pin and became the number one contender for the U.S. Title. This past week on Raw in a six man tag team match, MVP picked up the pinfall victory for his team after he knocked Big Show off the apron and delivered the Play Maker to The Miz. With momentum from his win this past Monday night, can MVP chop down the World’s Largest Athlete and retain his United States Title or will the Big Show show MVP first hand just how dominant he can be and take the United States Championship?

No DQ Match
Batista vs. Matt Hardy

-At No Mercy we will get the Unforgiven rematch between “The Animal” Batista and “The Black Cloud” Matt Hardy, but this time in a No Disqualification Match. At Unforgiven, it looked like Batista had things wrapped up, but Matt Hardy escaped the ring. As Batista went out to check on him, Matt hit Batista over the head with a chair, causing the disqualification. Matt continued to beat up on Batista and ended his assault with a Twist Of Fate on the floor. The next night on Raw, Batista was furious and demanded a rematch with Matt Hardy from the General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Vickie made the rematch between the two for the next pay per view No Mercy and to make sure Unofrgiven doesn’t happen again, she made the match a No DQ Match. Later that night in the main event, after Matt and Orton defeated Cena and Batista, Batista ran after Matt. Matt ran through the crowd but Batista caught Hardy and started beating him up into the backstage area. The next week on Raw, Batista kicked off Raw by coming out and taking about Matt Hardy. He finished things off by saying that at No Mercy he was going to finish what he started. Matt then came out and addressed everything Batista said. Matt then let Batista know that Vickie Guerrero has made it official that if Batista touches him before their match at No Mercy then he’s immediately suspended. Vickie then comes out and let’s Matt know that if he touches Batista before No Mercy then he will be suspended immediately. Later that night, Matt lost his match to Cena, but Batista gained some momentum by defeating Orton in the main event. This past week on Raw, Batista and Matt had to team together to take on John Cena since they can’t attack each other. The two were dysfunctional the entire time. At the end, Matt tagged himself in. Batista got in Matt’s face not liking this, but then Batista leaves the ring. Matt gets caught by Cena in an STF. Matt is about to grab the ropes but Batista pulls the bottom rope back and forcing Matt to tap out eventually. This Sunday, there will be no talking, no fighting prevention, no disqualification. These two will settle there dispute in the ring. Will Matt Hardy take out Batista and claim his spotlight that he claims Batista hogs or will Batista prove to Matt that he deserves to be in main event matches and get his retribution?

Priceless vs. Triple H & Mystery Partner
-At No Mercy, the Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes, Priceless, will take on “The Game” Triple H and a partner of his choosing. Three weeks ago on Raw, DiBiase and Rhodes won the Tag Team Titles from the Colons. As they were celebrating backstage, they came across Triple H. They rubbed the fact that they have gold and he doesn’t in his face and also reminded Triple H of the beating they gave him a week ago with Randy Orton to end Raw. Triple H tells the two of them that he will get his revenge and that it’s Game On! After Triple H’s match that night, Priceless came out and attacked Triple H. They then get in the face of a fallen Triple H and tell him that it’s been two weeks in a row they’ve taken him out and that it’ll be Game Over for Triple H. After the main event, Priceless comes down to the ring to help Orton take out Cena. Triple H comes down and helps Cena clear the ring of Legacy and taunts Priceless. The next week on Raw, during an interview backstage, Priceless claims they are the best tag team today and challenges Triple H and a partner of his choosing to a match at No Mercy. That night, after a little outside help from DiBiase, Rhodes defeated Triple H after a Cross Rhodes. Later that night, Triple H announces that he officially accepts the challenge made by Priceless. This past week on Raw, we saw Triple H in the locker room calling people up, trying to find a partner, but he has no luck. During the main event between Triple H and Orton, Priceless comes out and distracts Triple H, costing him the match against their Legacy leader Orton. The three of them beat up on Triple H and Cena when he comes out to try and help. Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes on Triple H and DiBiase follows up with Dream Street on Triple H. The two stand tall over a fallen Triple H. DiBiase and Rhodes have claimed for weeks that they are the best tag team in the business and that Legacy is the greatest faction ever, and Triple H is just jealous of that. Will Priceless take out Triple H yet again and prove that they are the most dominant team and apart of a faction that is, as they said, better than Evolution and D-X combined? Or will Triple H shut the mouths of Priceless finally? And who will, if anyone, will be Triple H’s mystery partner?

#1 Contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship
Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk

-At No Mercy we will determine who will be the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship as four Smackdown superstars square off in a fatal four way match. It’ll be the “Extreme Enigma” Jeff Hardy verses “The Dead Man” The Undertaker verses “the co-leader of The Revolution” Chris Jericho verses “Mr. Money In The Bank” CM Punk. Two weeks ago on Smackdown, General Manager Theodore Long announced this fatal four way match for No Mercy. Teddy Long made four qualifying matches for the following week to determine who would enter into this number one contenders match. The first match was this past week on WWE Superstars where we saw Jeff Hardy defeat Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison in a triple threat match to become the first man to qualify for the huge fatal four way. The other three qualifying matches were held this past week on Smackdown. First, we saw the Undertaker defeat Umaga after a devastating Chokeslam. Unfortunately for the Dead Man, after the match as he was walking up the ramp, Chris Jericho attacked him with a chair to make sure he didn’t interfere in his match. The next match was Chris Jericho taking on Kane. During the match the referee got knocked out and Jericho looked to take advantage with a steel chair. But before Jericho could use the chair, the lights went out and the Undertaker appeared and grabbed Jericho by the throat. The referee was starting to get up and saw this so he disqualified Kane for outside interference, causing Jericho to move onto the number one contenders match. The final qualifying match was an incredibly athletic match between CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin. In the end, Punk countered a pin attempt by Shelton into his own pin and won the match, becoming the final man in the number one contenders match. So now at No Mercy we have a fatal four way, but will it really be every man for himself? Since The Revolution has started, there have been many superstars that have been outspoken about being against them and trying to end this group as quickly as possible. At the end of this week’s Smackdown, The Revolution had no choice but to escape through the crowd as they were surrounded by Kane and Undertaker on the ramp and CM Punk, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, and Jeff Hardy in the ring. Three of those superstars will be in the fatal four way match against one of the leaders of The Revolution and you can bet they’re going to want to make sure Jericho has no chance at winning, but can they do that and concentrate on winning the match for themselves at the same time? Who will walk out as the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship?

ECW Championship
Christian vs. Paul Burchill

-At No Mercy, the ECW Champion Christian will defend his title against “The Ripper” Paul Burchill. This all began back at Unforgiven during the ECW Scramble Match. With fifteen seconds left in the match, Christian had just gotten a fall over Evan Bourne to become the current champion, but right after that, Burchill had come from behind and taken Christian out with the Twisted Sister. It looked like Burchill was going to get the fall until Swagger broke up the pin. That week on ECW, Christian had come out to talk about his win at Unforgiven, but it wasn’t long before he was interrupted by the other Scramble participants, Jack Swagger, Paul Burchill, Evan Bourne, and Vladimir Kozlov. Each talked about how they should be the ECW Champion and should be named number one contender. Burchill and Swagger had a dispute over who screwed who out of the title at Unforgiven as Burchill reminded Christian that he had him beat if it wasn’t for Swagger. A brawl breaks out between the five of them until security breaks it up. The assistant General Manager Tiffany then comes out and announces that General Manger Tommy Dreamer has made a fatal four way match for the main event to determine the number one contender for the ECW Title. After a hard fought battle, Paul Burchill won it by pinning Swagger. The night ends with Burchill signaling around his waist for the title as Christian holds the ECW Title high. The next week, the ECW Champion had his hands full with Zack Ryder in the main event. During the match the referee got knocked out. Christian had the win but the referee wasn’t able to make the count. At that point, Katie Lea came out and on the apron and started yelling at Christian. Christian went over to her but she dropped down from the apron quickly. Paul Burchill then came out and hit the Twisted Sister on Christian on the ropes, which set Christian up for the Zack Attack by Ryder and the loss. The night ends with the Burchills walking backwards up the ramp looking back at Christian in the ring who is furious. This past week on ECW, Burchill had a main event match this time against Swagger, and Christian was banned from ringside. Burchill managed to pick up the win with the Dangerous Buster, but it wasn’t long before Christian got some payback for last week. Christian came out and attacked Burchill as he celebrated his win. Christian connects with the Killswitch on Burchill and then stands over a fallen Burchill while holding his ECW Title high as ECW goes off the air. This Sunday, in his first one-on-one ECW Title opportunity, can Paul Burchill get the win and the ECW Title that he claims he should’ve won at Unforgiven, or will Christian retain his title and show Burchill why he is the one holding the ECW Championship and not anyone else?

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. Rey Mysterio

-At No Mercy, the World Heavyweight Champion Edge will defend his title against the number one contender Rey Mysterio. At Unforgiven, despite all the odds, Edge walked out with his World Title still around his waist thanks to his body guard The Great Khali. Three weeks ago on Smackdown, Theodore Long had a huge announcement about the number one contendership. Long announced that on Smackdown that night they would have two battle royals and the winners would face off in the main event to see who would face Edge for the World Title at No Mercy. After winning their respective battle royals, the main event was between Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio. After a little distraction and payback from Kane and a 619, Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho to become the new number one contender. But Teddy Long wasn’t the only one who had announcement that night. Edge and Chris Jericho announced that night that they have formed an alliance to take out the “biased” General Manager and lead The Revolution to take over Smackdown. After the main event, Jericho attacked Rey with a steel chair and started up a brawl. Edge, Khali, and Jericho took out Kane and Undertaker to end the brawl, but Edge wasn’t done there. Edge stalked his No Mercy challenger and delivered a devastating Spear to end Smackdown. The next week on Smackdown, Rey Mysterio went one-one-one with Edge’s body guard The Great Khali to kick off Smackdown. Khali may have looked dominant throughout the match but Rey ultimately won after Rey used his agility and quickness to get back into the ring before being counted out like Khali was. In the main event, Edge and his fellow Revolution leader Chris Jericho took on Kane and the Undertaker. After a Tombstone to Jericho, the Brothers of Destruction picked up the win, but the night wasn’t over there. Edge and Khali tried to take advantage of Kane and Undertaker, but Rey came down and attacked Edge. The night ended this time with a 619 to Edge, getting his payback for last week’s Spear. Rey stood tall signaling for the World Title with the Brothers of Destruction as The Revolution walks up the ramp beaten. This past week on Smackdown, The Revolution started things off by complaining about their match last week and stating just how powerful The Revolution is and will be. Rey Mysterio came out to put Jericho and Edge in their place by telling them no one agrees with them which is why no one has joined The Revolution. Punk and Jeff soon joined Rey since they agreed with what he said about The Revolution. It looked like there was going to be a huge brawl until Theodore Long stopped it. Long then created a huge tag team main event where we would see Edge and Khali take on Jeff and Rey, but the match wasn’t exactly more civilized than a brawl. At the end of the match, the referee lost control and called it a no contest. Rey and Jeff seem to have control until Jericho comes out to help his Revolution partners. The Revolution has control until Punk and Morrison make their way out there and help Rey and Jeff dispose of The Revolution from the ring. The Revolution backed up the ramp to escape until the lights went out and fire goes off on the titantron. Undertaker and Kane come out, causing The Revolution to be surrounded. They end up escaping through the crowd as the six men stare off at them ready to fight. With all of this happening in the past few weeks, how will this effect the World Title match at No Mercy? Can Rey take the World Title away from Edge and The Revolution to give him his second World Title reign, or will Edge retain the World Heavyweight Title and show how dominant The Revolution can be?

WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Randy Orton

-At No Mercy, John Cena will put his WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton. At Unforgiven, Orton, who was champion at the time, had to defend his title in a Scramble Match. With time running out, Orton tossed Cena over the ropes, but didn’t notice Cena held onto the ropes and landed on the apron. Orton hit an RKO on Big Show and got the pin with five seconds left. Orton thought he had won the match until he turned around. Orton saw Kennedy with the STF locked on him by Cena. Kennedy tapped out with three seconds left, leaving Orton out of time and unable to do anything about it. Cena won the match after Orton thought he had it all wrapped up. Orton took his frustration out on the already injured Kennedy by punting him in the skull. The following night on Raw, Orton came out pissed off about the results from Unforgiven and blamed Kennedy for losing the match and costing him the WWE Title, which is why he punted him and took him out. Cena then comes out and tells Orton that he should’ve been more aware of his surroundings, which only enrages Orton even more. Orton then tells Cena that he talked to General Manager Vickie Guerrero and it’s official that he’s getting his rematch for the title at No Mercy. In the main event that night, we saw Orton and Matt Hardy team up to take on Batista and the new WWE Champion John Cena. After Matt delivered a jawbreaker to Cena on the ropes, Orton connects with the RKO to Cena and gets the pinfall victory over the new champion. After the match was over, Orton went for another RKO, but Cena reversed it. Cena went for the Attitude Adjustment, but Priceless came out to prevent that and start the attack on Cena. Triple H then comes down to help Cena. Triple H takes out Priceless as Cena sends Orton out of the ring with a clothesline. Legacy walked up the ramp beaten as Triple H and the new WWE Champion stood tall. The next week on Raw, both men had their own singles matches. First, Cena took on Matt Hardy. After locking on the STF, Cena defeated Hardy by submission. In the main event, we saw Orton take on Batista. This week, Orton wasn’t as lucky as he fell to the Batista Bomb and lost the match. This past week on Raw, Cena started off Raw talking about Orton making up excuses and how he’s going to retain the title at No Mercy. Orton then came out and reminded Cena of a few things. He reminded him that two years ago he injured Cena and took him out with an RKO on the announce table and last year at WrestleMania 24 he pinned Cena to retain the title in the triple threat match. Orton said history will repeat itself and if he has to he’ll take Cena out just like he took out Kennedy. The two stare each other down and look like they’re about to fight, until Vickie Guerrero comes out to stop them and announces that Cena will be in a handicap match tonight. Later in the night, Cena faced Batista and Matt Hardy in a handicap match. Cena was getting beaten up badly, but thankfully for him Batista and Matt finally melted down towards the end as Matt tagged himself in when Batista was going to go for the win. Batista left the ring since he couldn’t hit Matt, leaving Matt to fall into the STF by Cena. After a little help from Batista pulling away the ropes from Matt, Cena wins the match by submission. In the main event, we saw Orton take on Triple H. After a distraction by Priceless, Orton hits the RKO on Triple H and gets the win. Legacy starts to beat up on Triple H until Cena comes out to help, but the numbers game caught up to Cena. Priceless takes care of Triple H as Orton focuses on Cena. Orton lifts Cena up and screams in his face “this Sunday, you’re finished! I’m taking back my title!” Orton then hits the RKO on Cena and stands tall over Cena with DiBiase and Rhodes. Can Orton win back the title he claims he never should’ve lost or will Cena show Orton that winning the WWE Championship at Unforgiven wasn’t a fluke?

Default Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future

Looks to be a great show, impressive card.
Here is how I think it will go down.

United States Championship
MVP vs. Big Show
MVP will beat the Big Show, I hope that you do push MVP.

No DQ Match
Batista vs. Matt Hardy
Please give Hardy a win, the WWE began his push when he turned on his brother but it never went anywhere.

Priceless vs. Triple H & Mystery Partner
I am not sure who it is but there is a reason why it is kept a mystery, I would mark though if it would be Flair

#1 Contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship
Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk
I am not sure why, I am just a big fan of the guy so I picked him.

ECW Championship
Christian vs. Paul Burchill

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. Rey Mysterio
For some odd reason I have a feeling you are going to shock us all but have him get the title back at SSeries

WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Randy Orton

Good luck.

Default Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future

So I figured I would return the favor bro. So overall I've been in and out checking in, and while I haven't review many of your shows as of late I do have predictions.

MVP v. Big Show: Now okay Big Show does have tha advantage but I think MVP need the title on him for a while because didn't he just get it off Kofi?? Either way I'm going with MVP.

Batista v. Matt Hardy: This is a very intriguing match-up man. No DQ, between two guys who both have had a hatred for each other as of late. Well this is just a complete random pick. Batista.

Legacy vs. DX..... oh wait my bad Triple H and mystery partner lol.... no but I would be really surprised if it isn't Michaels just to obvious to me but we will def see what happens, but I'm taking Trips and Mystery Man.

Fatal fourway: This is pretty stacked but I'm already eliminating Jericho since he is partners with edge, so the rest is tough to call, but I think that you soon want to maybe set Punk and Hardy against each other so with that said let's go with Undertaker.

Christian vs. Paul Burchill: Well this is a tough one to call, but in the end I really think Paul Burchill can be someone that you can really work well with and with that said man... I'm going with Burchill.

Edge vs. Mysterio: Re-enactment of the greatest match ever but all jokes aside, I see Mysterio winning but.....because the Revolution interferes. If it's Khali, or Jericho.... someone is going to interfere with this match leading to a triple threat maybe??

Randy Orton vs. John Cena: Well this is should be epic, but is this your main event or Edge/Mysterio because personally would love to see Edge and Mysterio get the main event slot. But in the end Cena just claimed the belt, and personally I don't think Orton gets it back this fast so Cena.

Re-cap
MVP
Batista
HHH/Mystery Partner
Undertaker
Mysterio (DQ Victory)
John Cena

Of course like always when you get your PPV up expect a review. good Luck bro!

“Scream” by Adelitas Way plays in the background as the graphic for No Mercy is shown. The background voice then says, “And now, WWE presents No Mercy!”

The camera cuts to fireworks going off and the crowd going wild.

Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to WWE No Mercy live on pay per view. We have a great night in stored for you tonight.

King: That’s right Michael. So many great matches tonight. I’ve been looking forward to this night all week. I can’t wait.

Cole: I can’t either, especially for our main events tonight. The WWE Championship will be on the line tonight when the champion John Cena puts his title up for grabs against the former champion Randy Orton.

King: And we’ll also see the World Heavyweight Championship on the line as the champion Edge defends his title against the number one contender Rey Mysterio.

Cole: We’ll see those two main events along with four other huge matches tonight. And let’s get things started right away with a championship match.

Big Show’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the United States Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 485 pounds, the Big Show.

King: What a huge way to kick things off for No Mercy. The United States Title is on the line, and that man right there, the Big Show, is determined to take that title away from MVP.

Cole: Well this all started three weeks ago on Raw when Big Show was on the V.I.P. Lounge and Big Show didn’t take to kindly to MVP rubbing his United States Title in his face. Since then, Big Show has been on a mission to take the United States Title away from as he says the “undeserving” champion, MVP.

King: Two weeks ago on WWE Superstars, Big Show earned this title shot after defeating four other men. Big Show said he’s going to show MVP tonight just how dominant he is. If I was MVP, I’d watch out for the World’s Largest Athlete and especially that Knockout Punch.

MVP’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 249 pounds, the United States Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP.

Cole: And here comes the United States Champion now. MVP is a fighting champion and in the last few weeks we’ve seen MVP stand up to Big Show and never back down once.

King: MVP has taken the fight to the Big Show in recent weeks. On the V.I.P. Lounge three weeks ago after Big Show knocked the U.S. Title out of MVP’s hands, MVP delivered a Drive-By Kick to the head of Big Show to take him down. And that wasn’t the only time we’ve seen these two fight it out.

Cole: That’s right. We’ve even seen MVP screw Big Show out of his match against Kofi Kingston. And this past week on Raw, MVP picked up the victory for his team after he took out Big Show and pinned The Miz. MVP has momentum and wants to show Big Show what a real champion looks like. But can he beat the World’s Largest Athlete and retain his United States Championship? We’re about to find out.

United States Championship
MVP vs. Big Show

-The match starts off with MVP and Big Show standing in the middle of the ring face to face. MVP starts to punch Big Show, but the punches seem to have no effect on him. MVP kicks Big Show in the gut and then runs off the ropes. As MVP comes back at Big Show he gets hit with a clothesline that takes MVP straight to the ground. Big Show lifts MVP up and tosses him into the corner like a rag doll. Big Show goes over to MVP and connects with a few hard body shots to MVP which makes MVP fall to the ground. Big Show lifts MVP back up in the corner and delivers a massive palm slap to the chest of MVP. Big Show lifts MVP up with one arm and delivers a sidewalk slam to him. The cover, 1…2…MVP kicks out. Big Show stomps on MVP and then walks over him, putting all of his weight on MVP’s chest. Big Show lifts MVP up in a military press position and holds him there showing off his strength. Big Show goes to dump MVP off behind him but MVP manages to land on his feet. Big Show turns around and MVP starts kicking away at Big Show’s left leg. MVP then hits a quick low dropkick on Big Show, which takes Big Show down to a knee. MVP runs off the ropes but gets caught by Big Show who grabs him around the throat, but MVP kicks out Big Show’s left leg again which gets him out of the choke hold. MVP grabs Big Show’s head and delivers a DDT to him. The cover, 1…Big Show powers out easily. MVP gets up and starts stomping away at Big Show. As Big Show starts to get u, MVP goes off the ropes and delivers a dropkick to him which sends Big Show back to the ground. MVP grabs the left leg of Big Show and starts to work on it some more. MVP stomps at the back of the knee, punches the leg, drops a knee on the leg, and anything else he can think of to inflict damage on it. MVP grabs Big Show’s left leg and looks to try and turn him over, but Big Show kicks MVP off with his right leg. Big Show starts to get up but MVP takes Big Show down again with a chop block to the back of the left leg and then a kick to the side of the head. MVP looks down at Big Show on the ground and starts taunting to the crowd. MVP runs off the ropes, taunts, and then hits the Ballin’ Elbow. The cover, 1…2…Big Show kicks out. MVP turns Big Show over and manages to get a half boston crab on him. Big Show screams in pain but using his power he manages to get to the ropes pretty quickly. As Big Show slowly gets up, MVP stalks him. MVP runs at Big Show, but Big Show connects with a huge Spear out of nowhere that turns MVP inside-out. Big Show gets back to his feet and shakes out his left leg, trying to get some feeling back into it. As MVP tries to get back up, Big Show just shoves him to the ground with his foot to MVP’s face. Big Show lifts MVP up and has him up for a scoop slam and just tosses him half way across the ring. Big Show sets MVP up by the corner and then goes for the Vader Bomb, but MVP moves out of the way just in time. MVP waits for Big Show as he gets up in the corner and hits him with the Player Boot. The cover, 1…2…Big Show kicks out. MVP goes to the top ropes and waits for Big Show to get up. MVP jumps off the top rope for a crossbody, but Big Show catches him. Big Show goes to put MVP on his shoulder, but MVP slides off and chop blocks Big Show’s left knee again. MVP backs up, sets up, and goes for the Drive-By Kick, but Big Show grabs him with his left hand around the throat. Big Show lifts MVP up for a Chokeslam but on the way down, Big Show connects with the Knockout Punch to MVP for double the impact. The cover, 1…2…3, Big Show wins.
Winner: Big Show

Lilian: Here is your winner and the new United States Champion, the Big Show.

Cole: What a win that was King. Big Show delivered not only a Chokeslam but hit MVP with the Knockout Punch at the same time. After that double impact, there was no question it was over.

King: MVP really held his own in this match, but in the end the power and strength of the World Largest Athlete was just too much for MVP.

Big Show holds the U.S. Title high in victory as the referee checks on MVP who hasn’t moved yet.

Cole: And there’s our new United States Champion. I have to say, Big Show earned it. I just hope MVP is ok.

King: I don’t think MVP’s moved since that double impact move.

Big Show looks over at MVP. Big Show goes over and shoves the referee away.

Cole: Wait a minute. What’s Big Show doing now?

Big Show grabs MVP’s head, lifts it up a bit and connects with another Knockout Punch.

King: Oh man! Big Show just took MVP and delivered another Knockout Punch. That was completely unnecessary. MVP wasn’t even moving.

Big Show then lifts MVP up and military presses his lifeless body to the outside.

Cole: Oh my god! MVP’s lifeless body just plummeted to the arena floor. That was a hard fall King.

Big Show goes to the outside too and lifts MVP’s lifeless body up.

King: Now what’s Big Show doing? This isn’t good at all. MVP can’t even stand by himself. Big Show’s just holding him up.

Big Show grabs MVP by the throat and yells in his face that he’s not done with him yet.

Cole: Oh no. Come on Big Show. Just let MVP go. You’ve done enough damage.

King: Well Big Show just screamed in MVP’s face that he’s not done yet. This doesn’t look good for MVP.

Big Show lifts MVP up and Chokeslams him through one of the announce table.

Cole: Oh my god! Right through the announce table with a devastating Chokeslam. Why did he need to do that?

King: Big Show is just on a rampage here tonight. MVP has taken a lot of damage here.

Big Show holds his title high as he looks down at the fallen MVP.

Cole: I hope he’s happy. I can’t believe Big Show is proud of his actions here tonight.

King: MVP hasn’t moved an inch since the match was even over. We need some help out here right now.

The EMTs come rushing out to help out MVP as Big Show walks up the ramp with his U.S. Title smirking and proud of his actions.

Cole: And finally we have some help for MVP. But I still can’t believe what Big Show just did. There was no need for those actions.

King: Big Show said that he wanted to prove to MVP that he’s dominant. Well he certainly proved that tonight.

Cole: The way he won the match was dominant. Big Show won the match, won the United States Title, and had MVP knocked out. This was just too much.

King: The EMTs are now taking MVP out of here on a stretcher. Hopefully he’s going to be ok. Never have I seen someone do that to another person in my life.

Cole: And as if Big Show wasn’t dangerous before, now he does something like this to show he’s dominant. Everyone in the locker room needs to seriously watch out for the new United States Champion.

Backstage we see a reporter with Edge and Chris Jericho who are with The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh.

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time are the leaders of The Revolution, Chris Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge. Now guys, tonight is a big night for both of you. Jericho, you will be in the huge fatal four way number one contenders match and Edge, you will defend your World Title against Rey Mysterio. This past week on Smackdown, at the end of our program, you guys were seen running through the audience to escape Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, the Undertaker, and Kane, who are all against The Revolution and looking to stop you. What are your thoughts?

Jericho: What exactly are you trying to get at? Are you trying to say that we’re weak? That we’re scared? That we’re outnumbered and should just give up? You see if you were in our situation that would describe you because you’re not a winner like us. So we have a few people against us. So what. The whole reason we started this group is because of how everyone is against us. But you and everyone else are simply underestimating us.

Edge: And did you notice how Theodore Long didn’t come out to help us at the end of Smackdown? We needed to get away so that we could make sure we were uninjured for tonight. As far as tonight goes, I guarantee that you will see me and Chris Jericho walking out victorious. And all of you out there thinking that The Revolution is a joke and will die out soon, think again. Because we’ve only just begun our mission to take over Smackdown.

Reporter: One more question. This past Friday we saw the two of you discussing something before the main event. What was that all about?

Jericho: That is none of your damn business right now. And people say that we’re demanding. You and all of these germ incubators will just have to wait to find out what The Revolution has planned.

Edge, Jericho, Khali, and Ranjin walk away.

Mathews: Wow. The Revolution seems really confident. I wonder what they have planned?

Striker: Didn’t you just hear Jericho? You’ll have to wait and find out like the rest of us Josh.

Mathews: Thank you Matt. Anyway, up next is our second title match of the night as the ECW Championship will be on the line.

Paul Burchill’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the ECW Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied by Katie Lea, from Chelsea, England, weighing in at 247 pounds, Paul Burchill.

Striker: And here comes the number one contender, “The Ripper” Paul Burchill, who looks ready to go in his first ever one-on-one ECW Title match.

Mathews: Well Burchill has looked impressive in the last few weeks. Three weeks ago on ECW, Burchill won a fatal four way match to become the number one contender for the ECW Title. And then this past week, Burchill was able to take out Jack Swagger in our main event on ECW.

Striker: Burchill has been saying for weeks that if it wasn’t for Jack Swagger, he would’ve pinned Christian in the Scramble Match and would be ECW Champion right now. And you know what, it’s kind of hard to argue that point since Christian looked like he was down for the three count. Can Burchill win his first ECW Championship here tonight?

Christian’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: And his opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the ECW Champion, Christian.

Mathews: Well Burchill’s going to have to go through this man if he wants that ECW Championship, and that is not an easy task in the least bit. Christian is ECW Champion for a reason.

Striker: We saw two weeks ago on ECW, the Burchills cost Christian his match against Zack Ryder. It seemed like Burchill was trying to get in the head of Christian and maybe even make him lose confidence, but that’s obviously not the case since this past week on ECW we saw Christian come out and attack Burchill after his match.

Mathews: Christian delivered a little payback to Burchill and maybe even a preview of tonight. Christian has held that title proudly for months now. Will he knock Burchill off his list of contenders or will Burchill finally capture the gold?

ECW Championship

Christian runs off the ropes at Burchill and connects with the Flash Point. The cover, 1…2…Burchill kicks out. Christian lifts Burchill up and tosses him off the ropes. Burchill moves at the last second but Christian jumps up to the second rope. Burchill turns around and Christian kicks Burchill in the gut from the second rope. Christian springboards off and connects with a sunset flip. The cover, 1…2…Burchill kicks out. Burchill rolls out of the pin quickly and gets to his feet while Christian is still seated on the ground. Burchill goes for a quick kick to Christian, but Christian ducks and then trips up Burchill. The cover, 1…2…Christian kicks out. Burchill lifts Christian up, but Christian starts punching away at Burchill. Burchill ducks one of the punches and connects with a huge European uppercut which sends Christian stumbling back into a corner. Burchill runs at Christian in the corner and goes for the double knees but Christian slides his way in between the top and middle ropes and then connects with the pendulum kick to Burchill. Christian goes up top and connects with a missile dropkick to Burchill. The cover, 1…2…Burchill kicks out. Christian gets up and stalks Burchill as he slowly gets up. Christian grabs Burchill from behind and goes for the Killswitch, but Burchill gets free and pushes Christian. Burchill runs at Christian and connects with the Twisted Sister. Burchill goes to pick up Christian, but Christian grabs Burchill and rolls him up with a small package. The cover, 1…2…Burchill kicks out. Both men get to their feet. Burchill charges at Christian, but Christian counters with a flapjack to Burchill onto the ropes. Christian grabs Burchill from behind and sets up for the Killswitch. Just then, Katie Lea gets on the apron, which distracts Christian for a second. Burchill turns Christian around and connects with a huge knee shot to the gut. Burchill then sets up Christian and connects with the Dangerous Buster. The cover, 1…2…3 Burchill wins the ECW Title.
Winner: Paul Burchill

Chimel: Here is your winner and the new ECW Champion, Paul Burchill.

Striker: Wow! We now have a new ECW Champion and it’s “The Ripper” Paul Burchill. What a match that was.

Mathews: You said it Matt. Both competitors were so evenly matched. In the end, that slight hesitation by Christian thanks to the distraction by Katie Lea, allowed Paul Burchill to reverse the Killswitch and finish Christian off with that Dangerous Buster.

Striker: Burchill and Christian went hold for hold and in the end it was anyone’s game. But as you said Paul Burchill took advantage of a rare mistake by Christian and is now the ECW Champion because of it.

Mathews: Congratulations Paul Burchill. Burchill showed that he did have what it takes to beat Christian and become champion. How will this affect the land of extreme?

Backstage we are zoomed in on a television monitor. On the monitor we see Triple H backstage in the hallway pacing around with his head lowered, looking nervous. The camera zooms out and we see Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes watching the monitor with huge grins on their faces. A reporter than comes up to them.

Reporter: Priceless, seeing how Triple H is right now and how he was on Raw this past week, what do you expect for tonight’s match and how do you feel about it?

Rhodes: Just look at him. Just standing there all by himself, looking pathetic. The only thing more pathetic than this was watching him this past week on Raw calling everyone he knows and getting shut down by every single one. And by the looks of it, it looks like out tag team match just turned into a two on one handicap match, which is obviously even worse for Triple H.

DiBiase: Triple H may be a multi-time world champion, but there is no way he’ll be able to hold his own against the two of us especially by himself. If he thought the previous beatings we gave him were bad, just wait for tonight. So Triple H, since you don’t have a partner, if you don’t show up for our match we understand because all you’re doing is avoiding the hellacious beating that we would deliver to you tonight. We’re the Tag Team Champions and part of the greatest faction ever for a reason.

Rhodes: Triple H, we’ll see you out there…if you decide to show up for your own demise.

Cole: Wow strong words by Priceless. They seem to think that Triple H doesn't have a partner, and by the looks of it they may be right.

King: Well Priceless said they wouldn't suggest Triple H come out for the match tonight by himself. Will the Game show up for this possible handicap match now?

Cole: We'll just have to wait and see. Up next, the heated rivalry between Batista and Matt Hardy will be settled in a No Disqualification Match. Let's take a look back at his this all got started.

A promo video is shown for Batista verses Matt Hardy. First we see a clip from Unforgiven where Batista goes to setup for the Batista Bomb, but Matt quickly gets out of the ring and goes by the time keeper’s area. Batista follows and goes to turn Matt around, but Matt turns around and hits Batista with a steel chair, causing the disqualification. Matt continues to hit Batista with the chair and then connects with a Twist Of Fate on the floor. Then we see Batista talking to Vickie the following night on Raw. Batista says, “Vickie, I know you saw Unforgiven last night, and I know you saw what happened with my match against Matt Hardy. He got himself intentionally disqualified because he knew he couldn’t beat me.” Vickie then says, “At No Mercy it’ll be you Batista verses Matt Hardy one-on-one. And so what happened at Unforgiven doesn’t happen again, this match will be No Disqualification.” We then see clips from the main event tag team match which was Batista and Cena verses Orton and Hardy. The match ends after Matt delivers a jawbreaker on the ropes to Cena and then Orton delivers the RKO to get the win. We see Matt getting his hand raised, but then Batista comes back in and starts to run after Matt. Matt tries to escape through the crowd, but Batista catches him and starts to fight him to the backstage area. We then see clips from the Raw the following week where Batista comes out to start the show. Batista says, “Matt Hardy…at Unforgiven, we went one-on-one, and just when it seemed that I was about to put you away and win the match, you get yourself disqualified. You made your statement to the world. But you also made a big mistake…And now at No Mercy…there will be nothing stopping me from giving you the beating you deserve.” Matt Hardy then comes out and says, “I’m sure if I was nothing but a muscle-head and had a top guy pushing me I would have been World Champion already. I want to teach you and everyone a lesson. I want to show everyone that I am the real deal and that I should be at the top and not you.” We then see Batista getting ready to come up the ramp to beat up Hardy when Hardy says, “Before you do that you might want to know something. I was talking to Vickie Guerrero earlier…she made it official that if you touch me before No Mercy, then you are immediately suspended.” Vickie then comes out and says, “Yes it’s true…But Matt, if you hit Batista, then you will also be immediately suspended.” Matt is furious as Batista points at Matt and yells at him “two weeks!” We then see clips from Raw this past week of the handicap match with Batista and Hardy teaming against Cena. As we see clips from the match we hear Vickie explaining in the background from earlier in the night saying, “Cena you will face off against Batista and Matt Hardy. But Batista and Matt Hardy are not allowed to touch each other until this Sunday. So instead of a triple threat match you will face the two of them in a two on one handicap match.” We see Batista taunting for the Batista Bomb when Matt tags himself in. Batista and Matt start to argue and Batista ends up leaving the ring. Matt turns around and gets caught with the STF by Cena. Matt is close to the ropes but Batista pulls the ropes away, preventing Matt from getting the rope break. Cena pulls Matt back to the center of the ring and Matt taps out. The video ends with Batista walking up the ramp backwards staring back and pointing at Matt Hardy yelling “this Sunday you’re done!” and Matt stares back with an angry look on his face as we hear Michael Cole saying in the background, “What will happen when these two are let loose and go at each other when anything goes?”

Matt Hardy’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following contest is a no disqualification match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 236 pounds, Matt Hardy.

Cole: And here we go. It’s the rematch from Unforgiven between Matt Hardy and Batista, but this time it’s a No Disqualification Match. King are you ready?

King: I’m ready for this one Michael. This has been such a heated rivalry for the past few weeks. As we all know, this all started six weeks ago when Matt interrupted Batista during his interview and then later cost Batista his Scramble qualifying match. And we found out that Matt had a person gripe against Batista, which is why he did this.

Cole: That’s right. Matt revealed to us that he’s been attacking Batista because he’s infuriated at the fact that someone like Batista has gotten to the top so easily and is, as Matt put it, preventing people like him from reaching the main event spotlight. Matt wants to take out Batista so that he can take Batista’s “unearned” spot at the top.

Batista’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 290 pounds, Batista.

King: Well here’s someone who doesn’t agree with a single word Matt Hardy has said. The Animal is still enraged about everything Matt Hardy has put him through for the past six weeks and is very much looking forward to tearing Hardy apart with no rules this time.

Cole: Obviously that was the problem last time they faced off. At Unforgiven when it looked as if Batista was closing in on the win, Matt got out of the ring and ended up purposely getting himself disqualified by hitting Batista over the head with a steel chair. And as if that wasn’t enough, Matt continued to beat up Batista with that chair and then finished his attack off with a Twist Of Fate on the arena floor.

King: That really enraged The Animal and lead to this No DQ match-up here tonight. Batista wants to not just prove to Matt that he deserves everything he’s gotten and that he’s better than Hardy, but I think Batista is just looking forward to hurting Matt and getting his retribution for everything that’s happened between them.

Matt goes up to the second rope and waits for Batista to get up. Matt taunts and goes for an elbow strike, but Batista catches Matt with a Spear. Both men are down and slowly start to get up. Batista is up while Matt is trying to use the ropes to get to a vertical base. Batista runs at Matt, but Matt ducks and pulls down the ropes, making Batista go voer the ropes and to the outside floor. Matt follows to the outside trying to regain his composure from the Spear. Matt starts to punch away at Batista and goes to toss him into the ring post, but Batista reverses it and tosses Matt towards the steel steps. Matt stops himself from hitting the steps. Batista runs at Matt, but Matt drop toe holds Batista right into the steel steps. Matt quickly grabs Batista and tosses him back into the steel steps. Matt picks up the steel steps and waits for Batista to get up. Matt then hits Batista in the head with the steel steps. Matt then realizes he needs to get Batista in the ring to win, but has a tough time lifting the dead weight of Batista. Finally Matt gets Batista back in and goes for the pin. The cover, 1…2…Batista kicks out. Matt can’t believe it. Matt argues with the referee and then stalks Batista as he slowly gets up. Matt kicks Batista in the gut and goes for the Twist Of Fate, but Batista pushes Matt off of him and then hits him with a desperation powerslam. Matt gets frustrated and looks over to the outside. Matt goes out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Matt gets back into the ring with the chair and stalks Batista. Matt runs at Batista with the chair, but Batista ducks and connects with another Spine Buster. Batista then looks over at the chair Matt brought in the ring. Batista picks it up and starts hitting the ground with it waiting for Matt to get up. Matt gets up, turns around, and sees Batista with the chair. Batista charges at Matt with the chair, but Matt quickly gets out of the ring and starts to back up on the ramp. Batista is at the ropes screaming at Matt to come back to the ring, but Matt just continues to go up the ramp. Matt walks backstage leaving the referee to call the match a no contest.
Winner: No Contest

Lilian: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has ruled this match-up a no contest.

Batista immediately gets out of the ring and runs up the ramp to the backstage area.

Cole: Well Batista doesn’t care what the decision is. He’s still not done with Matt Hardy.

King: We thought this match was definitely going to end tonight, but I guess we were wrong. Matt saw Batista grab that steel chair and wanted nothing to do with him as he had the weapon.

Cole: Can you blame Hardy? But he did bring this upon himself. Matt figured that since he can’t get disqualified he might as well just run away to escape the loss and the wrath of Batista.

King: But now Batista is on the hut for Matt Hardy backstage. Matt better hurry up and get out of the building before Batista finds him or else we might be hearing Matt screaming in pain and for help.

Cole: Speaking of screaming, we’d like to thank Adelitas Way for their song “Scream” which is the official theme song of No Mercy. It’s off their self-titled debut album, available now.

King: I have to say, I bought the album and it’s great. The theme for WWE Superstars “Invincible” is even on there.

Backstage we see a reporter with Rey Mysterio.

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Rey Mysterio. Rey tonight is a big night for you. Three weeks ago on Smackdown you stated that this year you’ve had a list of goals and that you’re next goal was to become the World Heavyweight Champion again. Tonight you get that opportunity when you take on the champion Edge. How do you feel going into this match tonight?

Rey: I feel really good about this match tonight. Like you said, this year I’ve had a list of goals that I kept adding onto. I wanted to become Intercontinental Champion and I did that. I wanted to bring respect and honor back to that title and I did that. I wanted to teach Shelton Benjamin respect last month at Unforgiven and I did that. Three weeks ago I said that I wanted to become the number one contender for the World Title and I did that. Now my goal is to win the World Title for the second time in my career. This past Friday on Smackdown, Edge said that I’ve never beaten him in a World Title match before. He may be right, but tonight ends that. I’m one hundred percent focused on the World Title and with Edge’s mind on The Revolution right now, he may be a little distracted tonight. I’m going to capitalize on that tonight and I will walk out the new World Heavyweight Champion.

John Morrison then comes in.

Morrison: That’s right. And Smackdown will once again have a champion that it can be proud of and not someone who is looking to destroy it. Right now, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy are on their way to the ring for the number one contenders match. With the two of them and the Undertaker in that match, the odds are strongly against Chris Jericho. And with you fired up and ready to go Rey, Edge doesn’t stand a chance. The Revolution will walk out tonight with absolutely nothing. By the way, I couldn’t help hearing before when you were talking about your goals and it occurred to me that you left one out.

Rey: What’s that?

Morrison: Well after you win the World Title tonight, your…our next goal is to take out The Revolution. With me, you, Punk, Hardy, Undertaker, and Kane together there is no way they even stand a chance.

Rey: You’re right. Tonight is the night that we start to shut The Revolution down.

Morrison: I also came over because I wanted to see if you wanted me in your corner tonight?

Rey: No man, I’m fine. I can take care of them.

Morrison: Ok, but I just want to let you know that if things get out of control out there, I’ve got your back.

Rey: Thanks John. I got to go get ready. I’ll see you later.

Morrison: Alright. Good luck out there.

Justin: The following fatal four way contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the number one contendership to the World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 222 pounds, Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk.

Grisham: It is now time for the huge fatal four way match that everyone’s been waiting for since Theodore Long announced it two weeks ago on Smackdown. Everyone wants a shot at being the number one contender, and four men will get an opportunity at becoming the number one contender here tonight.

JR: And here comes one of the participants in this huge match. The 2009 Money In The Bank winner, the Straight Edge Superstar, CM Punk. Each man had to qualify for this match, including CM Punk. We saw him this past Friday on Smackdown defeat the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin in a great competitive match-up to qualify to be in this match.

Grisham: That wasn’t the only thing Punk did on Smackdown. Punk came out to back Rey Mysterio up against The Revolution and basically said that Edge and Jericho are doing this to make their lives easier. I believe Punk called them the “Ego Trip.” Obviously Punk is not a fan of The Revolution.

Jeff Hardy’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: From Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 225 pounds, Jeff Hardy.

JR: Well Punk isn’t the only one. We saw Jeff Hardy come out as well on Smackdown to back Punk and Rey up against The Revolution. And we saw at the end of Smackdown, Jeff was part of that ending brawl against The Revolution after the main event was thrown out.

Grisham: Jeff is just one of the superstars on Smackdown who want to end The Revolution. We saw Jeff, Punk, Morrison, and Rey were all on the same page on Smackdown. Let’s see how successful they can be.

JR: But right now Jeff is focused on becoming the number one contender and winning the World Title again. This is going to be a tough match to win, but then again we saw Jeff Hardy qualify for this match in a triple threat contest against Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison. Never count out the Extreme Enigma.

Chris Jericho’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: From Manhasset, New York, weighing in at 226 pounds, Chris Jericho.

Grisham: We’ve been talking about The Revolution a lot, and here comes one of the leaders of the group right now, Chris Jericho. Jericho and Edge started The Revolution because they felt that our General Manager Theodore Long is biased against them, which is why they want to take over Smackdown and get rid of Theodore Long.

JR: They also say that Teddy Long favors people like Rey Mysterio and Undertaker because they pander to the fans. Now Jericho and Edge have always complained about things, but since they’ve started this group, they’ve complained about every little thing that happens and we have to hear about it all the time.

Grisham: Jericho’s biggest problem has been Undertaker interfering in his matches against Kane, although on Smackdown this past Friday it worked to his advantage since the referee saw Undertaker grabbing Jericho by the throat and disqualified Kane, meaning Jericho won and qualified for this match.

Undertaker’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: And from Death Valley, weighing in at 299 pounds, the Undertaker.

JR: Yes Undertaker interfered and got Kane disqualified by accident, but we’re leaving something very important out. Earlier in the night after the Undertaker qualified for this match after beating Umaga, Chris Jericho came out with a steel chair and attacked the Undertaker with it. I think Jericho should’ve known better than to do that to the Dead Man.

Grisham: Yes I agree. It wasn’t one of the smartest moves by Jericho, although Jericho did say that he attacked Undertaker so that he could make sure he didn’t interfere with his match against Kane like he did at Unforgiven. Well Undertaker was not taken out by Jericho but yet just enraged, but like we said it worked to Jericho’s favor in the end.

JR: But Jericho needs to watch out now. We saw at the end of Smackdown how The Revolution was trapped between the ramp and the ring and had to escape through the crowd. Punk, Morrison, Jeff, and Mysterio took them out of the ring and then Undertaker and Kane made sure they couldn’t go up the ramp. And now Jericho is in the ring with three men who want to tear him apart, especially the Phenom. Who will earn a World Title shot at Cyber Sunday? We’re about to find out.

Jericho trips Jeff and goes for the Walls Of Jericho, but Jeff won’t let Jericho turn him over. Jericho then slingshots Jeff over the top rope and to the outside. Jericho then notices Undertaker is getting up. Jericho goes over and starts to punch and kick away at him. Jericho performs a step up enzuguiri that sends Undertaker stumbling back into a corner. Jericho goes into the corner, gets on the second ropes, and starts to punch away at Undertaker. Jericho stops, slaps Undertaker, and then yells Undertaker and the crowd. Undertaker then grabs Jericho up in a powerbomb position, walks out of the corner, and delivers the Last Ride to Jericho, who somehow manages to roll out of the ring. Undertaker then turns his attention to Punk as he slowly gets up. Undertaker lifts Punk up for a Tombstone Piledriver, but Punk is able to slide off the shoulder of Undertaker. Punk turns Undertaker around and sets him up for the GTS, but Undertaker elbows his way out of it. Undertaker then grabs Punk for a Chokeslam, but Punk grabs the arm of Undertaker, trips Undertaker so that he’s on the ground, and locks in the Anaconda Vice. Punk has it locked in until Undertaker wraps his legs around the head of Punk to get out of it and turns it into Hells Gate. Punk looks like he’s about to tap until Jeff jumps off the top rope and connects with a leg drop to Undertaker, which makes him release the hold. Jeff grabs Punk and sets up for the Twist Of Fate, but Punk pushes Jeff off. Jeff runs forward and delivers a dropkick in the face of Undertaker who just sat up. Kane beats up Punk and Jeff to make sure they don’t get back into the ring. Jericho then measures up and connects with the Lionsault onto Undertaker. The cover, 1…2…3 Jericho wins.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Justin: Here is your winner and the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Chris Jericho.

JR: I can’t believe what we’ve just witnessed here. Why did Kane just turn on his own brother like that?

Grisham: Well we have seen some miscommunication between the tow lately but I didn’t think it would result in this. Nonetheless, Chris Jericho picks up a huge win and is now the new number one contender for the World Title. He’ll get his title shot at our next pay per view, Cyber Sunday.

Kane takes Punk and tosses him into the ring to Jericho as Kane continues to punch away at Jeff.

JR: Now what is this? Kane continues his attack on Jeff Hardy and almost feeds Punk to Jericho.

Kane takes Jeff and tosses him hard into the steel steps.

Grisham: And Jeff Hardy just hit those steel steps hard. I don’t understand what’s gotten into Kane.

In the ring, Jericho lifts Punk up and connects with a Codebreaker to him.

JR: And the second Codebreaker of the night to CM Punk. Come on Jericho. You’ve made your point.

On the outside, Kane grabs Jeff by the throat and Chokeslams Jeff onto the floor.

Grisham: Oh my god! Jeff just got Chokeslammed on the arena floor. Jeff Hardy can take punishment but this is too much, especially after that fatal four way match.

In the ring, Jericho grabs the steel chair and hits Punk with it as he’s down on the ground.

JR: And now Jericho continues his assault on CM Punk with a steel chair. That’s enough damn it. Someone stop this.

Kane then gets into the ring just as Undertaker is starting to slowly get up. Jericho stalks Undertaker, but Kane puts his arm in front of Jericho to prevent him and says “I want him.” Jericho steps aside and allows Kane to do whatever he pleases.

Grisham: And now look at this. Kane says that he wanted Undertaker, so Jericho just stepped aside and allowed Kane to do all the damage.

JR: Undertaker’s suffered enough damage already. There’s no need for this.

Kane grabs the steel chair and hits Undertaker over the head again with it.

Grisham: And a thunderous chair shot by Kane to his brother the Undertaker. I don’t think we’ve ever seen Undertaker dominated like this before.

Kane then lifts Undertaker up and delivers a Tombstone Piledriver to his brother.

JR: Kane finishes it off with the ultimate insult by delivering Undertaker’s own move to him. This is enough. You’ve proved your point already.

Jericho grabs Kane’s hand and raises it high as the two of them stand tall in the middle of the ring and Jericho is smirking.

Grisham: I can’t believe this. Chris Jericho and Kane standing in the ring after working together to take out CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Kane’s brother the Undertaker. This was the last thing I would’ve thought we’d see tonight.

JR: For weeks Jericho and Kane have been at each other’s throats. Kane was working to stop The Revolution. And now all of a sudden Kane turns on his brother and helps out the man he’s been trying to take out for the past six weeks. We better get an explanation for this soon.

Backstage in the parking lot, we see Matt Hardy running in and then stopping by one of the personnel.

Matt: Bring my car around. Now! Hurry!

Matt tries to catch his breath. He looks around for Batista but doesn’t see him.

Matt: Come on! Hurry up!

The car pulls up and Matt seems relieved.

Matt: Thank god. Get out of the way. I gotta get out of here.

Matt is just about to step into his car when Batista runs in and attacks him from behind. Batista starts punching away at Matt. Batista takes Matt and rams him into the car a few times. Batista takes Matt and tosses him hard into the open car door that ends up getting snapped off as Matt hits it. Batista lifts Matt up.

Batista: You think you can run away? Not this time. You’re going to pay.

Batista grabs Matt and delivers a huge Spine Buster to him on the hood of the car.

Batista: This isn’t over. Not by a long shot.

Batista walks off as Matt lays hurt on floor by the car.

Cole: Batista sent a message to Matt Hardy. Like Batista said, this one is far from over.

King: What a crazy night we’ve had so far. I don’t know if it can get any crazier.

Cole: Well it just might King. Up next we have the Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes taking on Triple H and a mystery partner.

King: But it looks like Triple H doesn’t even have a partner. What’s he going to do?

Cole: I don’t know. But for right now, let’s take a look back at how this all started.

A promo video is shown for Priceless verses Triple H and a mystery partner. First we see clips of the Tag Team Title match between The Colons and Priceless on Raw three weeks ago. We see DiBiase hitting Carlito with Dream Street and then the three count. DiBiase and Rhodes stand tall with their new Tag Team Title belts. We then see Priceless backstage after the match and they run into Triple H. DiBiase says, “Well, well, well. If it isn’t Triple H. The Game. The King of Kings. The man….with no gold around his waist, unlike us. What’s the matter Hunter? You upset that we have gold and you don’t? Or maybe it’s because you finally realized that we’re better than you.” Rhodes then says, “No you know what it is Ted? He’s upset still at last week. You know, when we came out and kicked his ass.” We then cut to last week’s Raw where we see Priceless attacking Triple H from behind and holding Triple H up for an RKO by Orton. Triple H then says, “You guys should be real proud of yourselves…But soon enough I’m going to get back at you for your attack from last week on Raw. You two have no idea what you just walked into. It’s Game On!” We see Triple H leave to go to the ring as Priceless looks on with a stern look on their faces. We see Triple H hit the Pedigree on Santino and win his match. Triple H taunts but then gets attacked from behind by Priceless. Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes on Triple H and then DiBiase hits Dream Street. DiBiase then says, “You want to threaten us? You’re messing with the future of this company and the new Tag Team Champions.” Rhodes then says, “And Triple H… be careful of what you say to us. Because like the last two weeks, it will be Game Over for you!” We then see Legacy beating up Cena when Triple H comes out. Triple H hits a Double-A Spine Buster on DiBiase and then punches Rhodes to the ropes. Triple H takes DiBiase and tosses him at Rhodes, sending them both to the outside. We then go to a backstage interview from the following Raw with DiBiase and Rhodes. DiBiase says, “We are the single greatest tag team today…There’s not a more dominant tag team in the WWE today. Last week…Triple H provoked us. He said that we were Randy Orton’s lackeys and practically called us out. So instead of sitting there waiting for him to come to us, we decided to bring the fight to him on our terms.” Rhodes then says, “Triple H is simply jealous of us. He’s jealous of how successful our careers have been in Legacy. He’s jealous that we have gold and he doesn’t. And he’s especially jealous that his former protégé Randy Orton has not only surpassed him but even created a greater and more powerful group than Triple H ever has. The Legacy is better than Degeneration-X and Evolution ever were. Hunter…We’re challenging you and a partner of your choosing to face us at No Mercy in two weeks. But just know that no matter who you get to be your partner, you will fall to the Legacy. Because we are the greatest tag team today. We are the Tag Team Champions. We are simply Priceless!” We then see clips from Rhodes verses Triple H. Triple H sets up for the Pedigree but DiBiase distracts Triple H and allows Rhodes to hit the Cross Rhodes on Triple H for the win. Backstage we see Triple H answering the challenge saying, “Rhodes. DiBiase. You want a fight, you’ve got a fight. At No Mercy, it’s payback for everything you’ve done to me. In two weeks, it’s Game On!” We then see clips from this past week on Raw of Triple H calling people and hanging up the phone disappointed every time. We then see clips from the main event match between Triple H and Orton. We see Priceless come down to the ring and distract Triple H. Triple H tries to hit them but they get off the apron. Triple H turns into an RKO and loses the match. We see Priceless beating up Triple H as Orton takes care of Cena in the ring. Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes and then DiBiase hits Dream Street on Triple H. Legacy stands tall over Cena and Triple H as the video ends.

Legacy’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, at a combined weight of 454 pounds, the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless.

Cole: Here come the Tag Team Champions now and boy do they look cocky. I think DiBiase and Rhodes have convinced themselves that either this is going to be a handicap match or Triple H is going to forfeit.

King: Well we saw Triple H earlier with his head down. It looked as if he didn’t have a tag team partner and Priceless seems to think that too. They could be right. And don’t forget, they did warn Triple H to not compete tonight without a partner since they would just take him out.

Cole: Oddly enough, it may be the right advice for Triple H if he indeed does not have a partner. For the past month, Rhodes and DiBiase have had the Game’s number. They’ve taken him out week after week and so far have backed up all of their trash talking. What will tonight hold for the Tag Team Champions?

Triple H’s music plays and the crowd cheers.

King: Here we go. Is he going to come out and fight them alone?

Cole: Or has Triple H found a partner? Either way it looks like we may have a fight on our hands.

We wait a bit but Triple H doesn’t come out and the music stops.

King: Well it looks like Triple H took Rhodes and DiBiase’s advice from earlier. Triple H isn’t coming out. This has got to be a first.

In the ring, Priceless smirks and laughs at this. They go over to the referee and tell him to declare them the winners.

Cole: DiBiase and Rhodes seem so proud of themselves right now. I guess they should be. Like you said King, this is a first. It looks like Priceless is about to win by forfeit.

Just then, we hear over the loud speaker, “Are You Ready?” DX’s music plays and the crowd goes crazy.

King: Oh my god! Can it be?! Can it really be?!

We see Triple H and Shawn Michaels come out in their DX attire.

King: It is! It’s DX! DX is back!

Lilian: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 480 pounds, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X.

Cole: I can’t believe this! Shawn Michaels has returned and much to the dismay of Priceless, he’s Triple H’s tag team partner. What a tag team partner Triple H picked.

King: He couldn’t have picked anyone better. Priceless wanted a challenge, well here it is. They’ve been bragging about how Legacy is better than DX, well now it’s time for them to prove it.

Cole: Look at the shocked look on Rhodes and DiBiase’s faces. This is not at all what they expected. They’re not happy, but this crowd is going crazy for the return of not only Shawn Michaels but the return of one of the greatest teams in WWE history, D-Generation X.

Winners: D-Generation X

Lilian: Here are your winners, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X.

Cole: And DX picks up a huge win here tonight. Triple H finally gets some retribution on Priceless after all of the attacks in the past few weeks by them.

King: They certainly shut Priceless up. This was the first match we’ve seen from Shawn Michaels since WrestleMania and boy he hasn’t missed a beat.

Cole: With D-Generation X back and on Raw, what will this mean for Legacy? I think Rhodes and DiBiase are now regretting making that challenge to Triple H. But it’s great to have the Heartbreak Kid back.

King: I just wonder how long Triple H knew Shawn Michaels was going to be his partner. He may have been playing mind games with Priceless this whole time.

Cole: You may be right King. I guess we’ll have to wait until Raw tomorrow night to find out. Well ladies and gentlemen, right now we’d like to give you an update on the condition of MVP.

The commentators talk as replay videos are shown from earlier in the night.

Cole: Earlier tonight, the Big Show defeated MVP to become the new United States Champion after a double impact with a combination of a Chokeslam and a Knockout Punch. But even though the match was over, Big Show wasn’t done.

King: That’s right. Big Show then lifted MVP up and delivered another Knockout Punch. He then proceeded to military press MVP out of the ring and to the outside floor.

Cole: And Big Show finished his attack off with a massive Chokeslam to MVP through the announce table. MVP was taken off to a nearby medical facility right after that attack. We’ve received word that MVP has suffered several injures, both external and internal. At this point, doctors are unsure on how long he’ll be out, but it doesn’t look good for MVP right now. Hopefully he recovers quickly and makes it back to the ring soon.

King: Get well soon MVP. I still can’t believe the Big Show did that to him. That was really too much. But he did show everyone just how dominant he is.

Cole: Well now it’s time to change gears because up next it’s the WWE Championship match. The champion John Cena defends against the former champion Randy Orton. Let’s take a look back at how this all began.

A promo video is shown for John Cena verses Randy Orton and a mystery partner. First we see clips of the WWE Championship Scramble Match from Unforgiven. In the background, we hear Orton from the next night on Raw as the Unforgiven clips play. As it shows Orton throwing Cena over the top rope, Orton says, “Last night was nothing but a travesty. I had that match won.” We then see Orton turning around and stalking Big Show. Orton hits the RKO on Big Show and gets the pin with 5 seconds left, as Orton says, “Five seconds left on the clock, that match and my WWE Title were all wrapped up for me.” We then see Orton turning around and seeing Kennedy tap out to the STF by Cena with three second left, as Orton says, “And then I turn around to see that nothing Mr. Kennedy tap out with three seconds left.” We see Cena holding the title high as Orton looks completely shocked, as Orton says, “Kennedy being the person in the STF is the only reason why John Cena won.” We then see Orton measuring up Kennedy and punting him in the head, as Orton says, “So I punted Kennedy right in his empty little skull…And now he’s out of the picture and I want my rematch.” We then go to Raw from the next night where Orton was talking and we see Cena come out. Cena says, “Well Randy…The Champ Is Here! I won that match, not because of, as you put it, Kennedy’s ‘lack of skills,’ but because I was the better and smarter man last night.” We then see another clip from Unforgiven showing Cena holding onto the ropes when Orton tossed him over, getting back in, and locking in the STF on Kennedy. We cut back to Raw and hear Cena say, “If you should be blaming anyone it should be yourself.” Orton then says, “I’m using my rematch clause and I’ve already talked to Vickie so it’s official. At No Mercy, I’m getting back what I never should have lost. I’m getting back MY WWE Championship!” We then see clips from the main event match which was Cena and Batista verses Orton and Matt Hardy. We see Mat deliver a jawbreaker to Cena on the ropes and Orton capitalizes with an RKO for the win. After the match, Orton goes for another RKO on Cena, but Cena pushed him off. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Priceless comes out and stops it. Triple H then comes out and helps Cena dispose of Legacy. We then see clips of Cena’s matches from the last two weeks on Raw against Hardy and then Hardy and Batista in a handicap match. As those play, in the background we hear Cena saying, “At Unforgiven, I was involved in the WWE Championship Scramble Match. Despite all the odds, I was able to get the final fall with three seconds left and walked out the new WWE Champion. The next night on Raw…Randy comes out here and complains about how Kennedy shouldn’t have been in the match and that I got lucky winning. I won Randy because you were careless. You thought I was out of the ring, but I wasn’t. You thought you had the match won, but you didn’t. Then you announce that you’re using your rematch clause at No Mercy. That’s fine with me because this time when I beat you, there will be no excuses and no rematches. I will walk in as WWE Champion and I guarantee that I will walk out still WWE Champion.” We then see clips of Orton’s matches from the last two weeks against Batista and Triple H. In the background, we hear Orton saying, “It seems the past few years we’ve crossed paths with the WWE Title on the line. Two years ago in 2007, after a single RKO on the announce table I took you out and put you on the shelf, forcing you to forfeit the WWE Championship to me. Last year at WrestleMania 24…I pinned you in the middle of the ring to retain the WWE Championship. And this Sunday history will repeat when I beat you for the WWE Title once again. I will stop at nothing…NOTHING to get MY WWE Championship back! If I have to take you out like I took out Mr. Kennedy then I will not hesitate to do so. After this Sunday at No Mercy, I will get back what is rightfully mine, the WWE Championship.” We then see Cena attacking Orton in the ring after this past week’s Raw main event, but Legacy takes control of him and Triple H. Priceless holds Cena up as Orton gets in his face and yells “this Sunday, you’re finished! I’m taking back my title!” Orton then hits the RKO on Cena. The video ends with Legacy standing tall over Triple H and Cena.

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Championship.

Randy Orton’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: Introducing first, the challenger, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, Randy Orton.

Cole: King, Orton is ready for this. Orton wants back what he claims he never should’ve lost, and that’s the WWE Championship.

King: Well at Unforgiven we saw Orton thought he had the match won and so did we, but we were all wrong when we saw Kennedy tap out to the STF with three seconds left, allowing Cena to win the Scramble Match and become the new WWE Champion.

Cole: Orton blames that lose on Cena getting lucky and basically on Kennedy being in the match. Orton took Kennedy out with a punt to make sure that didn’t happen again. Kennedy is still out and we’re not sure when he’ll be back, but I don’t think Orton cares one bit. Orton is completely focused here tonight on winning back the WWE Championship.

John Cena’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, John Cena.

King: Well the champ is not going to make that easy for Orton to do. Cena is determined to prove to Randy Orton tonight that Unforgiven wasn’t a fluke and that he deserves to be WWE Champion right now.

Cole: Cena has put up with so much of Orton’s excuses the past three weeks. Orton has blamed his title loss on having to defend it in a Scramble Match, on luck, and mainly on an already injured Kennedy being in the match. Cena’s had enough on the excuses and looks to finally shut Randy Orton up.

King: Orton used his rematch clause for this match to happen. But with it being one-on-one, there are no excuses for Orton this time if he loses. But then on the flip side, there’s no one to lose the match for Orton. We’re going to settle this title dispute right now. Who will walk out as the WWE Champion?

WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Randy Orton

-The match starts off with a stare down in the middle of the ring between Orton and Cena. They then start exchanging punches until Orton gets the better of it after an elbow strike to the head of Cena. Orton grabs Cena and gets him in a side headlock. Cena tries to push him off, but Orton holds onto the headlock and starts wrenching away. Cena then starts punching Orton in the side and the gut. Cena backs up to the ropes and goes to push Orton off, but again Orton holds on. Cena then lifts Orton up and delivers a back suplex to him to get out of the hold. Both men get up and Cena delivers a clothesline to Orton. Orton gets up and Cena tosses him into a corner. Cena runs at Orton in the corner, but Orton puts a boot up. Orton runs at Cena, but Cena reverses with a hip toss. The cover, 1…2…Orton kicks out. Cena lifts Orton up and connects with a suplex on Orton. The cover, 1…2…Orton kicks out. Cena lifts Orton up and kicks him in the gut. Cena runs off the ropes behind Orton, but as Cena comes back at Orton, Orton turns around and connects with a high dropkick to Cena. Orton lifts Cena up in a front facelock position. Orton clubs at the back of Cena several times and then hits a DDT. The cover, 1…2…Cena kicks out. Orton gets up and starts stomping all around on every limb of Cena. Orton then jumps up and connects with a knee drop to the chest of Cena. The cover, 1…2…Cena kicks out. Orton picks up the head of Cena and starts to deliver calculating punches to Cena. Orton lifts Cena up and delivers a European uppercut to him, which sends Cena stumbling back to the ropes. Orton runs at Cena, but Cena ducks down and tosses Orton over the top rope and to the outside. Cena goes to the outside and starts punching Orton. Cena lifts Orton up and tosses him into the barricade. Cena grabs Orton’s head and smashes it onto the apron. Cena then tosses Orton back into the ring. Cena taunts to the fans and then gets on the apron. As Cena is about to get into the ring, Orton kicks Cena in the chest, stopping him. Orton grabs Cena in a front facelock between the middle and top ropes. Orton sets up and plants Cena with a rope hung DDT. The cover, 1…2…Cena kicks out. Orton lifts Cena up and connects with a backbreaker to Cena. The cover, 1…2…Cena kicks out. Orton starts to get a bit frustrated. Orton lifts Cena up and starts slapping him in the face yelling “Just stay down Cena!” All of a sudden, Cena catches Orton with a drop toe hold and locks in the STF. Orton scratches and claws to get to the ropes. After slowly making his way over, Orton gets to the ropes for the rope break. Cena pulls Orton away from the rope and tries to lock in the STF again, but Orton manages to escape and crawls quickly over to a corner. Orton gets back to a vertical base in the corner but Cena runs at him and connects with a clothesline. As Orton stumbles out of the corner, Cena grabs Orton and connects with the fisherman suplex. Cena then goes to the top rope and waits for Orton to get up. Cena jumps off and connects with a leg drop to the back of the head of Orton. The cover, 1…2…Orton kicks out. Cena waits for Orton to get up and then runs off the ropes. Cena comes back at Orton going for a flying shoulder block, but Orton moves out of the way, sending Cena flying across the ring. Cena gets up and runs at Orton again but gets caught with a powerslam by Orton. The cover, 1…2…Cena kicks out. Orton stalks Cena as he punches the ground waiting for Cena to get to his feet. Cena connects with a flying shoulder block and then another to Orton. Cena lifts Orton up and connects with the spinout powerbomb. Cena goes off the ropes, does the “You Can See Me” taunt and connects with the 5 Knuckle Shuffle on Orton. Cena gets up and taunts as he waits for Orton to get up. Cena lifts Orton on his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton elbows Cena in the head, slips off the back of him and connects with an inverted headlock backbreaker to Cena. The cover, 1...2…Cena kicks out. Orton gets to his feet and tries to regroup as Cena slowly gets up, using the ropes to help him up. Orton goes over to Cena hits him with the RKO. The cover, 1…2…Cena gets his foot on the ropes. Orton gets up and thinks he’s won, but the referee tries to tell him that Cena got his foot on the ropes. Orton starts to yell at the referee about this. Orton then looks over the referee’s shoulder and sees Cena slowly getting up on all fours. Orton steps back to measure Cena up, but the referee is in his way still trying to explain what happened to him. Orton yells at the referee “Get out of the way!” Orton grows impatient and shoves the referee out of the way and to the ground. Orton measures Cena, runs at him, and goes for the Punt, but Cena moves just at the last second. Cena gets up and lifts Orton up on his shoulders as he turns around. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton reverses it into the RKO mid-move. Orton goes for the cover but the referee is out. Orton notices this and goes over to the referee. Orton yells at the referee to get up and starts shaking him, but the referee is still down. Orton then goes to the outside over to the time keeper’s station. Orton grabs the WWE Championship belt and brings it in the ring. Orton stalks Cena with it as Cena is very slowly trying to get up. Orton is locked in on Cena and is yelling at him to get up. Just then, a man with all black clothing and a black ski mash on comes through the audience and into the ring. Orton turns around and gets tackled by the Mystery Man. The Mystery Man starts punching away at Orton. The Mystery Man then grabs the WWE Title belt, waits for Orton to get up, and hits Orton over the head with the title belt. The Mystery Man then goes over to the referee and tries to revive him. At this point, Cena gets up and looks over at Orton. Cena lifts Orton up and delivers the Attitude Adjustment to him. The referee is revived and the Mystery Man gets out of the ring. The cover, 1…2…3 Cena wins and retains the WWE Title.
Winner: John Cena

Lilian: Here is your winner and still WWE Champion, John Cena.

Cole: And Cena keeps the title, but who was that? And why did he attack Randy Orton?

King: I don’t know, but whether he meant to or not, he helped John Cena avoid a possible vicious beating from Orton.

Cole: That’s right. Orton had knocked the referee down and after he realized the referee was out, he decided to do what he does best and cheat. Orton was about to hit Cena with that title belt until the Mystery Man came out and stopped him.

Cena holds the title high as the Mystery Man walks backwards up the ramp.

King: And now Cena stands tall with the WWE Title as that Mystery Man starts to leave. But who is that?

Orton crawls over to the ropes to look at the Mystery Man. The Mystery Man stops on the ramp and takes off the ski mask to reveal that he’s Mr. Kennedy.

Cole: Oh my god! It’s Mr. Kennedy! He’s back!

Orton is furious as Kennedy laughs and taunts on the ramp.

King: I thought Kennedy was going to be gone for awhile.

Cole: Well by the look on Orton’s face, I think he thought the same thing. Orton is fuming right now.

King: Orton took out Kennedy to make sure he wouldn’t be a factor in this match, but that back fired on him.

Cole: Kennedy gets some retribution against Orton, but I can assure you that this is not over. It’s just starting.

A promo video for Cyber Sunday is shown with “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise playing in the background

Grisham: Well ladies and gentlemen, the next time we’ll be on pay per view will be October 25th for Cyber Sunday.

JR: The most interactive pay per view of the year, where you the fans get to vote on a stipulation for each match. That’s in three weeks, but right now we’re getting ready for our main event.

Grisham: That’s right JR. The World Heavyweight Championship in on the line. It’s the champion Edge verses the number one contender Rey Mysterio. Let’s take a look at how this all started.

A promo video is shown for the World Heavyweight Title match. First we see Theodore Long from three weeks ago saying, “Tonight on Smackdown, we will determine the #1 contender for Edge's World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy. We will start off the night with two over the top rope battle royals…The winners will go on to face each other later tonight in our main event. The winner of that match will become the official #1 contender.” We see clips from the two battle royals and see Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio winning them. Clips are then shown from the main event number one contenders match. We see Jericho grabbing a chair and going to hit Rey with it, but Kane comes out and Jericho tries to hit him. Jericho turns around and Rey dropkicks the chair into his face and then hits the 619. Rey hits a springboard body splash and gets the pin. Jericho then hits Rey with the steel chair. We then cut back to earlier in the night with Edge and Jericho in the ring making their announcement. Edge says, “At Unforgiven…I had to defend my World Heavyweight Title in a Scramble Match. It was said that I was almost guaranteed to lose my title…Well guess what?” We cut to a clip from Unforgiven seeing Edge spear Morrison and getting the final pin. We cut back to Edge saying, “I’m still your World Heavyweight Champion.” Jericho then says “Theodore Long tries to justify his actions by saying that I bring everything upon myself with either my words or my actions. Theodore Long is supposed to be an unbiased General Manager. Well, we have a plan.” Edge says “This is the start of the Smackdown takeover. This is the start of the Revolution!” We cut back to the end off the night and see Edge stalking Rey as he slowly gets up. Edge delivers a devastating Spear and ends the night standing tall with the Revolution. We then see clips from the main event of the following Smackdown. We see Undertaker deliver a Tombstone to Jericho for the win. After the match was over, we see Edge and Khali come into the ring and attack Kane and Undertaker. Then, Rey Mysterio comes down to the ring and starts to attack Edge. As Undertaker and Kane take care of Khali and Jericho, Rey sets Edge up on the second rope and connects with the 619. Rey looks like he’s going for a springboard attack, but Jericho and Khali grab Edge from the outside and pull him out of the ring. Rey gets on the rope and signals around his waist as Jericho and Khali carry Edge up the ramp. We then see The Revolution in the ring from this past Smackdown. We hear Edge say, “Last week on Smackdown, The Revolution was a victim of circumstances and unfair treatment. The Great Khali completely dominated Mysterio and could’ve ended the match anytime he wanted to.” We then see Khali toss Rey at one of the corner poles, but Rey is able to jump up grabbing onto the pole and swing himself back into the ring like a 619 and the referee counts Khali out, as we hear Edge saying, “Somehow that little man was able to swing himself into the ring and all of a sudden the referee counts out The Great Khali. You shouldn’t be proud of that victory Rey. What kind of number one contender relies on count outs to win matches? Just to remind you Rey, at No Mercy a count out victory means nothing because I will still walk out as the World Heavyweight Champion. And just like every other time we’ve faced off for the World Title, I will end up victorious and walking out as the World Champion.” We then see Rey come out and say, “You know, every single week we have to endure your speeches on how great you guys are and we’re all sick of it. Every week you guys come out here to complain about Teddy Long and say that the matches he puts you guys in are unfair. Theodore Long is not biased. Edge, he treats you like he would treat any other World Champion. And Jericho, you get opportunities all the time. Two weeks ago you had the chance to become the number one contender, but unfortunately for you I beat you. Teddy Long had nothing to do with me beating you, I did. And both of your mouths get you two into more trouble than you should.” Edge then says, “Listen here little man, you can’t talk to us like that. Chris Jericho and I are the best in the world today at what we do. And with the Great Khali by our side, we are unstoppable. Of course you don’t see Teddy Long’s biased ways. That’s because you’re one of his favorites that he protects. And opening up our mouths is the only way we avoid getting trampled on every week by Long and his biased stipulations. But this Sunday Rey when we face off for my World Title, Theodore Long can’t do anything. It’s all down to our abilities, which means that I will undoubtedly walk out still World Heavyweight Champion.” We then see clips from Edge and Khali verses Jeff and Rey from that night. We see Jeff starting to go to the top rope, but Edge comes in the ring and knocks Jeff off the ropes. Rey then runs in and starts attacking Edge with a flurry of punches and kicks. Jeff and Khali then start to brawl as well in the ring. The referee tries to separate all of them but can’t so he rings the bell. Rey and Jeff get Khali caught in the ropes and then Rey sets Edge up for the 619, but Chris Jericho comes out and attacks him before he can go for it. Edge and Jericho attack Rey and Jeff, and then get Khali out of the ropes. Then we see Punk and Morrison running down to the ring and attacking The Revolution. Punk and Morrison clothesline Khali out of the ring, Jeff dropkicks Jericho out of the ring, and Rey delivers a hurricanrana to Edge that sends him out of the ring. The Revolution starts walking up the ramp until the lights go out and fire goes off on the titantron. The Revolution turns around and sees the Undertaker and Kane standing on the titantron waiting for them. The Revolution goes over to the barricade and escapes through the crowd. The video ends showing Edge with a shocked look as he runs away and Rey ready for action in the ring.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Rey Mysterio’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: Introducing first, the challenger, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 175 pounds, Rey Mysterio.

Grisham: And it’s now time for the main event of the night. The World Heavyweight Championship is on the line as the number one contender makes his way down to the ring. Are you ready JR?

JR: I’m ready Todd. I’ve been looking forward to this match since Rey became the number one contender three weeks ago. All this year, Rey Mysterio has had a set of goals to accomplish. So far he’s been able to check off every goal he’s encountered. Now it’s time to see if Rey can check off become the World Heavyweight Champion again.

Grisham: Three weeks ago, Rey Mysterio won an over the top rope battle royal and in the same night defeated Edge’s partner Chris Jericho to become the official number one contender. The last two weeks, Rey has had the champion’s number. Can tonight be Rey Mysterio’s night to once again become the World Champion?

Edge’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: And his opponent, being accompanied by The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 250 pounds, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, the Rated R Superstar, Edge.

JR: Well Todd, as great of an athlete Rey Mysterio is, it’s not going to be easy to take that World Title away from the champion Edge. And you can’t forget the fact that Edge’s body guard The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh are out at ringside.

Grisham: Last month at Unforgiven, we saw how big of a factor Khali can be in Edge’s World Title matches when he helped Edge win the Scramble Match and retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Rey needs to watch out for him and Jericho.

JR: Knowing Edge, The Revolution could play a big part in this match. Rey needs to avoid that scenario if possible if he wants a chance at winning the World Title here tonight. Two nights ago on Smackdown we saw Edge and The Revolution running off to escape, but it looks like the champion is ready to go here tonight. Who will walk out of our main event as the World Heavyweight Champion? We’re about to find out.

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. Rey Mysterio

-The match starts off with Rey and Edge locking up in the center of the ring. Edge knees Rey in the gut to get the advantage. Edge tosses Rey off the ropes and goes for a clothesline as he comes back, but Rey rolls underneath it. Rey gets to his feet and starts to deliver side kicks to Edge. Edge catches one of the kicks and shoves Rey to the ground. Edge grabs Rey’s other leg and slingshots him to the ropes, but Rey is able to springboard off the ropes and deliver a flying forearm smash to Edge as he turns around. Rey kicks at Edge again and then dropkicks Edge’s left leg, taking Edge down to a knee. Rey runs off the ropes and delivers a running head scissors takedown to Edge. Rey waits for Edge to get back up again and runs off the ropes, but Khali goes to swipe away at Rey’s legs. Rey is able to avoid the contact but he does stop to turn around and yell at Khali. Edge runs at Rey and attacks him from behind as he’s distracted. Edge grabs Rey and delivers a back suplex. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge gets up and immediately starts stopping on Rey. Edge tosses Rey off the ropes and delivers a back body drop to Rey, but Rey manages to land on his feet. Rey runs off the ropes at Edge, but Edge counters with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to Rey. Edge then lays Rey out across his knee and starts to stretch him out. Edge keeps this in for a bit, until Rey starts to kick at Edge’s head to get out of it. Edge doesn’t let Rey get the advantage though. Edge grabs Rey, lifts him up, and drops Rey across his knee gut first. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge mounts Rey and starts to punch away at him. Edge stops to showboat which allows Rey to quickly use his legs to get Edge down for a pin. The cover, 1…2…Edge kicks out. Edge rolls out of the cover, gets up quickly, and delivers a dropkick to Rey who was sitting up. Edge lifts Rey up and tosses him into a corner. Edge runs at Rey, but Rey puts both of his boots up and connects with Edge. Rey runs at Edge and goes for a wheelbarrow bulldog, but Edge reverses it mid-move and slams Rey face first to the mat. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge lifts Rey up and tosses him hard to the outside. Edge goes to the outside. Edge grabs Rey and tosses him into the barricade. Edge lifts Rey up and tosses him into the steel steps, but Rey is able to diving over the steel steps to avoid contact. Edge starts to make his way over, but Rey dropkicks the steel steps into Edge. Rey gets into the ring to break the count. Rey waits for Edge to get up on the outside and then runs, jumps over the ropes, and connects with a crossbody attack to Edge on the outside. After Rey slowly gets up and regains his composure, he gets Edge back into the ring. Rey gets on the apron and springboards into the ring with a leg drop onto Edge. The cover, 1…2…Edge kicks out. Rey gets Edge up and goes to toss him off the ropes, but Edge reverses it and tosses Rey off the ropes. Rey springboards off the ropes and connects with a tornado DDT to Edge. Rey sits Edge up, measures him up, and kicks Edge in the head. The cover, 1…2…Edge kicks out. Rey gets Edge up and tosses him into a corner. Rey runs at Edge in the corner and delivers a monkey flip. Rey sets Edge up by the ropes and then hits a springboard split-leg moonsault onto Edge. The cover, 1…2…Edge kicks out. Rey sits Edge up and kicks hi in the back. Rey lifts Edge up and tosses him off the ropes. Edge comes back into a drop toe hold by Rey, which sets Edge up on the middle rope. Rey runs off the ropes, but Edge gets up and delivers a big boot to Rey. Edge grabs Rey and lifts him up on his shoulders in an electric chair position. Rey starts to punch away at Edge’s head and starts squirming. This causes Edge to start stumbling backwards near the ropes. Rey is able to turn around and deliver a hurricanrana to Edge, which sends both men over the top rope and to the outside. Both men start to get up and Rey starts kicking Edge in the side. Rey then goes onto the apron, but before Rey can do anything Edge quickly clotheslines the back of Rey’s legs, making him fall onto the apron and then to the floor. Edge picks Rey up and tosses him back into the ring. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge sits Rey up and starts to punch away at him. Edge then gets Rey into the corner and sets him up on the top rope. Edge gets to the second rope, but Rey starts punching him. Edge punches back and then looks to setup for a superplex. Rey punches Edge in the side and the gut. Rey takes Edge’s head and slams it on the top turnbuckle, which makes Edge dazed but he still holds onto the top rope. Rey then gets up and jumps over Edge, delivering a sunset flip powerbomb to Edge. The cover, 1…2…Edge kicks out. Both men are exhausted and slowly get to their feet. They start exchanging punches until Rey gets the better of it with a kick to Edge’s gut. Rey runs off the ropes at Edge, but Edge reverses with a half nelson bulldog. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge gets up and grabs Rey in a DDT position, Rey gets out of it and starts wrenching the arm of Edge. Rey, with Edge’s arm in hand, runs up the corner and jumps off for a possible arm drag, but Edge kicks Rey in the gut as he comes down. Edge pulls Rey into a front facelock and delivers the Edgecution. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge sits up looking disappointed and frustrated. Edge grabs Rey and goes for another Edgecution, but Rey reverses it by tripping up Edge and flipping over with the bridge for a pin. The cover, 1…2…Edge kicks out. Both men get up. Edge shoves Rey off the ropes. As Rey comes back, Edge lifts Rey up in the air but Rey reverses and is able to pull off a hurricanrana on Edge. Rey goes to the top rope. Rey goes for a moonsault, but Edge moves out of the way. Rey is luckily able to land on his feet, but Edge gets right up and hits the Edge-O-Matic on Rey right as he lands. The cover, 1…2…Rey kicks out. Edge gets up and starts to stalk Rey as Rey slowly gets up in the corner. Edge runs at Rey for a Spear, but Rey moves out of the way and Edge connects with the middle turnbuckle in the corner. Rey then connects with an enzuguiri to Edge, which sets Edge up on the middle rope. Rey runs off the ropes and goes for the 619, but Edge moves out of the way and rolls backwards. As Rey turns around, Edge goes for the Spear again, but Rey leapfrogs Edge and Edge lands on the middle ropes again. Rey runs off the ropes and connects with the 619 this time. Rey starts to climb the turnbuckle when Khali tries to grab Rey’s foot. Rey is able to kick Khali off and climbs to the top rope. Rey jumps off for a diving body splash, but Edge quickly gets up and delivers a massive Spear to Rey in mid-air. The cover, 1…2…3 Edge wins and retains the World Title.
Winner: Edge

Justin: Here is your winner and still World Heavyweight Champion, Edge.

JR: And Edge retains the World Title again. What a match that was. Rey Mysterio has nothing to be ashamed about.

Grisham: That’s right JR. Especially since Rey got distracted at the end by Khali. If it wasn’t for that, Rey may have been able to hit the body splash on Edge.

Edge holds the World Heavyweight Championship high as Khali and Ranjin get in the ring with him.

JR: That may be true, but nonetheless, Edge walks out with that World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. And now Khali and Ranjin join Edge in the ring to celebrate his win.

Edge looks over at Rey and sees him moving. Edge and Khali then start to beat up on Rey.

Grisham: Oh come on. Is this really necessary? You won the match. It’s over. Stop this now.

Just then, John Morrison comes running down to the ring.

JR: Here comes John Morrison to help out his friend Rey Mysterio. Morrison will even out the odds.

Morrison gets in and takes down Edge with a tackle and starts to punch him.

Grisham: And Morrison takes it right to the World Champion. He’s teaching Edge not to mess with his friend.

Khali grabs Morrison and lifts him up for a Punjabi Plunge, but Morrison kicks Khali in the face to get out of the grip.

JR: It looked like Khali was going to take out, Morrison, but Morrison is able to get out of the giant’s grip.

Morrison springboards off the ropes and connects with the Flying Chuck Kick to Khali, which takes Khali down.

JR: And now Morrison knocks down the Great Khali with that Flying Chick Kick. Morrison is on fire here.

Edge goes to surprise Morrison with a Spear, but Morrison sees it coming and connects with a knee to the head of Edge.

Grisham: And Morrison avoids the Spear by Edge and is taking it to the World Champion again. Morrison is just taking it to The Revolution here.

Just then as Morrison is beating up Edge, Umaga comes out. We also see someone following Umaga to the ring who seems to be Armando Estrada.

JR: Wait a minute. Is that…is that Armando Estrada? Estrada is Umaga’s old manager but what’s he doing here? We haven’t seen him in about a year.

Umaga gets in the ring. Morrison turns around and gets hit with a thrust kick to the head by Umaga.

Grisham: Oh. What a shot by Umaga to Morrison. Just when we thought Morrison couldn’t be stopped, the Samoan Bulldozer comes out to attack him, but why?

Umaga lifts Morrison up and holds him by the throat. Umaga looks over at Estrada. Estrada takes out a Cuban cigar and snaps it in half. Umaga then delivers the Samoan Spike to Morrison.

JR: And a vicious Samoan Spike to Morrison. Umaga showed his dominance here, but like you said Todd, why are Umaga and Estrada out here right now?

Edge gets up and looks over at Umaga and Estrada smirking. Rey starts to get up slowly and Khali looks to go after him, but Edge stops him.

Grisham: Well it looks like Umaga and Estrada are working for Edge right now, but why did Edge just stop Khali from attack Rey all of a sudden?

Edge then looks at the titantron and seems to be waving people to come out.

JR: What’s Edge doing? Who’s he calling out?

Just then, Dolph Ziggler and Shelton Benjamin come down to the ring.

JR: Dolph Ziggler and the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin? What are they doing out here now?

Edge pats Shelton on the back and lets him at Rey. Shelton waits for Rey to get up and turn around, and then hits Pay Dirt on him.

Grisham: And Shelton hits the Pay Dirt on the man he defeated at Unforgiven for the Intercontinental Championship. I guess Rey didn’t teach him much respect.

Morrison then tries to slowly get up using the ropes to help himself up. Ziggler stalks him and then hits the Zig Zag on Morrison.

JR: And now Morrison gets Zig Zagged by Ziggler, who looks so proud of himself right now. This is enough now. Both Morrison and Rey are defenseless.

Chris Jericho and Kane then come down to the ring as Jericho is clapping as he makes his way down the ramp.

Grisham: Here comes the other leader of The Revolution, the new number one contender, Chris Jericho with Kane. I’m surprised it took Jericho this long to come out here, but he seems pleased with what’s been going on.

Edge and Jericho stand in the middle of the ring with Khali, Ranjin, Umaga, Estrada, Kane, Shelton, and Ziggler beside them. Edge and Jericho look around, smile, and nod at each other in approval of what they see. All of them then raise their hands high in the ring as The Revolution’s theme “Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays.

JR: I can’t believe this. I can’t believe everything we’ve witnessed tonight. Between Kane turning on his brother to help his rival Jericho to now Umaga Shelton, and Ziggler coming out to help Edge and Khali.

Grisham: Edge and Jericho said they were going to make an impact tonight and they damn sure did just that. CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and the Undertaker were taken out earlier tonight. Rey Mysterio and John Morrison were just taken out moments ago.

JR: And now it looks like The Revolution has just expanded with its new members. Look at that group of superstars in the ring with the number one contender Chris Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge in the center and at the head of it all.

Grisham: If anyone doubted The Revolution before, they won’t doubt them anymore with this impressive showing. Can anyone stop this dominant force?

JR: I have a feeling Smackdown is in trouble now with this impressive group trying to take over. What a night we had and what a way to end the night. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for joining us live on pay per view for No Mercy. Goodnight!

Default Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future

No Mercy Review:

So we start things off with Big SHow and MVP, and while this was a great match with a great ending, what happens afterwards is more important. MVP is just knocked out, and Big Show completly tosses him to the outside like a rag doll. Now judging by how you ended the match his makes me think MVP might be on the shelf for a while with an injury. Now Big Show with the United States title should be getting a nice lengthy run.

Jericho/Edge: Germ incubators love it and this was a pretty basic interview.

Burchill vs. Christian: Well a nice little match with a little interference from Katie Lea, I wasn't surprised you went the Burchill route now all that matters is if you can make him a creditable champion. I expect a rematch to come out of this for Cyber Sunday maybe.... who knows.

Hardy v. Batista: Wow personally I feel like this is unfair. Sorry Batista needs to friggin chase after Matt Hardy after all its no DQ, but I understand you decision, keep the rivalry going, but what more can they possibly do. We shall see.

Fatal Fourway: "Jericho runs up and delivers a Codebreaker to Punk with Jeff falling right on top of Punk’s head for extra impact." Awesome spot right there. The match was pretty good as everyone got their fair shot at having some good offense. I am really surprised by Chris Jericho winning, which can't be good for the chances of Edge winning later tonight. I'm also glad Jericho hit the lionsault. Sounds corny but I like it on Undertaker since I imagine it would be difficult to try the walls on Undertaker.

Legacy vs. DX: No surprise here and I really knew that DX was going to win, but this means that a feud will come out of this probably which is fine. Sure WWE did it IRL but hopefully you can add your own little twist to it, and make it more unique.

Cena vs. Orton: Pretty good match and the mystery man thing was pretty cool. Surprised it was Kennedy but this should be a great feud, but I'm interested to see if you pull Orton away from the WWE Title. I'm sure on Raw he will be complaining, about being screwed out of the title, so maybe a triple threat at Cyber Sunday.

Edge vs. Mysterio: Wow Edge won, you surprised me, now The Revolution has full control of the title and number one contendership. Anyway all the events that happen after was pretty cool, but I have to say The Revolution appears to be your main event mafia, however I like this faction alot. You have two sure HOF in Jericho and Edge then you have a bunch of underachievers trying to breaki nto the main event. So it looks like that a long feud between the Revolution and Jeff Hardy/CM Punk/Mysterio/Undertaker/Morrison is about to occur which should be great and possibly can make it a nice long feud.

Overall: Well I have to say I like alot of the stuff you did, especially Burchill winning the ECW Championship. Personally I'm a fan of Burchill. Sure with DX being back and more than likely feuding with Legacy while it was done IRL, maybe you can add some more excitment to it. Good show man.

*Message To Readers*

So as some of my readers may have noticed it's been awhile since I've posted anything. This thread is not dead at all. I've been very busy lately and it's only been getting worse with all my projects and finals coming up in the next three weeks. I don't want to rush things up and do a half-assed job on them so it may take awhile for some episodes to come out. Hopefully I'll at least have Raw by the end of this week and possibly even ECW/WWE Superstars. Once finals are over hopefully I can get back into a rhythm and post episodes more frequently. Plus I'm trying to make some more improvements which is why it's taking a bit more time. Thank you for your patients. A Raw preview will be out soon. In the meantime, No Mercy is obviously up for those who haven't seen it yet.

Raw Preview
October 5, 2009
Wilkes Barre, PA

Just one day removed from No Mercy, how has the landscape of Raw changed?

Last night, we saw John Cena retain the WWE Championship against Randy Orton, but not without some controversy. While the referee was out, a masked man came into the ring and attacked Orton. Cena was able to capitalize on this with an Attitude Adjustment to Orton and got the pin as the referee was revived. After the match was over, the masked man revealed himself to be Mr. Kennedy, who we all, especially Orton, thought would be out for a long time after a Punt at Unforgiven. With Mr. Kennedy back on Raw what will he do next and how will the leader of the Legacy, Randy Orton react to his return last night?

Speaking of returns, last night D-Generation X returned as Triple H introduced his mystery partner as none other than “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels to take on Legacy’s Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. The Tag Team Champions were in shock when they saw Michaels come out with Triple H as they were convinced Triple H hadn’t found a partner and was going to forfeit the match. DX was able to pull off the win against Priceless, which was some much needed retribution for Triple H. How will the Tag Team Champions react to the events of last night and what lies ahead on the road for DX?

Last night Matt Hardy took on Batista in a No Disqualification match. The stipulation was supposed to prevent the Unforgiven DQ ending from happening again, but Hardy found another way of escaping. As Batista grabbed a chair and looked to destroy Hardy with it, Matt ran out of the ring, up the ramp, and to the back. The match was ruled a no contest, but that didn’t stop Batista from chasing down Matt Hardy. Later on, we saw Matt trying to quickly get his car and just when it looked like he was going to escape, Batista came in and started attacking Matt. Batista ended his attack with a Spine Buster to Hardy on the hood of the car. With this rivalry far from over according to Batista, what more can happen between these two?

Batista may have sent a big message to Matt Hardy, but no one sent a bigger message than the Big Show. After Big Show won the United States Title from MVP due to a Chokeslam/Knockout Punch combination, he continued his assault on MVP. Big Show delivered another Knockout Punch to MVP, military pressed his lifeless body to the outside floor, and then ended his statement with a Chokeslam through the announce table. Not only does Big Show have gold, but he has showed everyone in the locker room just how dominant he is. What will be Big Show’s next step? Can anyone possibly stop the Big Show?

With Cyber Sunday in three weeks, who will be the next opponent for WWE Champion John Cena? Tune into Monday Night Raw at 9PM EST on the USA Network to find out the answer to all of these questions and more.

Raw
October 5, 2009
Wilkes Barre, PA

WWE Signature Video is shown

A recap video from No Mercy is shown. We see clips from the WWE Championship match between John Cena and Randy Orton. We see Orton hits RKO on Cena and then go for the cover, 1…2…Cena gets his foot on the ropes. Orton gets up and thinks he’s won, but the referee tries to tell him that Cena got his foot on the ropes. Orton yells at the referee and then looks over the referee’s shoulder to see Cena slowly getting up on all fours. Orton steps back to measure Cena up, but the referee is in his way. Orton yells at the referee “Get out of the way!” and then shoves the referee out of the way and to the ground. Orton goes for the Punt, but Cena moves just at the last second. Cena gets up and lifts Orton up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton reverses it into the RKO mid-move. Orton goes for the cover but the referee is out. Orton yells at the referee to get up and starts shaking him, but the referee is still down. Orton then goes to the outside and grabs the WWE Championship belt. Orton stalks Cena with it as Cena is very slowly trying to get up. Just then, a man with all black clothing and a black ski mash on comes through the audience and into the ring. Orton turns around and gets tackled by the Mystery Man. The Mystery Man starts punching away at Orton. The Mystery Man then grabs the WWE Title belt and hits Orton over the head with it. The Mystery Man then goes over to the referee and tries to revive him. Cena gets up, lifts Orton up, and delivers the Attitude Adjustment to him. The referee is revived and the Mystery Man gets out of the ring. The cover, 1…2…3 Cena wins and retains the WWE Title. Cena holds the title high as the Mystery Man walks backwards up the ramp. Orton crawls over to the ropes to look at the Mystery Man. The Mystery Man stops on the ramp and takes off the ski mask to reveal that he’s Mr. Kennedy. The video ends with Orton looking on furious as Kennedy laughs and taunts on the ramp.

Raw Opening Video is shown as “Burn It To The Ground” by Nickelback plays

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Raw. We’re live here in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania just twenty-four hours removed from No Mercy, and King what a night last night was.

King: You’re telling me. So much happened in the WWE Universe at No Mercy. We have a new United States Champion, DX reunited, Mr. Kennedy made a shocking return and so much more.

Cole: And now we’ll see the fallout from all of this tonight. I can tell this is going to be a crazy Raw tonight.

Legacy’s music plays and the crowd boos. Orton, DiBiase, and Rhodes come out walking slow with an angry look on all of their faces.

Lilian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring, the Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, and Randy Orton, Legacy.

Cole: And is anyone shocked that we start Raw off with these three coming out here after what transpired last night?

King: Just look at the Legacy. None of them are happy and I guess after No Mercy not going the way they planned, who can blame them.

Cole: Well for those who didn’t see No Mercy last night, first Priceless thought Triple H didn’t have a partner and was going to forfeit, but they wee surprised with the rest of the world when Shawn Michaels came out as Triple H’s partner and D-Generation X reformed and defeated Rhodes and DiBiase.

King: And then when you thought things couldn’t get worse for Legacy, during the WWE Championship match, a masked man came out and attacked Orton while the referee was out. Orton ended up losing the match to John Cena and then the mystery man was revealed to be none other than the man Orton thought he took out at Unforgiven, Mr. Kennedy.

Legacy gets into the ring and they all grab microphones as the crowd chants “You Suck” at them.

Orton: All of you SHUT UP right now!!! I am not in the mood for all of you people so don’t push me! I’ll have no problem coming in the stands and taking out every single one of you useless, unintelligent pieces of garbage.

The crowd boos Orton heavily.

Orton: Last night was the biggest bunch of crap that I’ve ever seen. First the referee gets in my way as I’m about to finish John Cena, so I had no choice but to force him out of the way. And because of that after I take out Cena with an RKO and I clearly have the match won there’s no referee to make the count. And then the worst thing happened. I was attacked from behind by a masked man and was screwed out of the match. And that masked man turns out to be….Mr. Kennedy.

The crowd cheers and chants Kennedy’s name.

Orton: Oh you people liked that? This is the second time that Mr. Kennedy has cost me the WWE Championship. I should’ve retained my title at Unforgiven and should’ve won last night. Now I thought I took that injury prone, untalented piece of crap out, and I did that so that things like last night couldn’t happen. Kennedy, it seems that you’re too injured to continue when there’s three seconds left in a match, but when it comes to attacking me and screwing me out of the WWE Title, you’re always health enough for that. John Cena doesn’t deserve to be WWE Champion. In fact, in the record books there should be an asterisk next to his title reign because without Mr. Kennedy it never would’ve happened. I’m going to take out Mr. Kennedy once and for all and when I do I’m going to take back my WWE Championship from you Cena.

Rhodes: Randy’s not the only one that was the victim of unfairness last night. Ted and myself went out to the ring for our match against Triple H and his partner. Triple H’s music played and he didn’t come out. Right there it should have officially been ruled a forfeit. But of course the referee waits and suddenly DX comes out. Now DX you may have got then win last night, but that’s nothing to brag about. You two had all the time in the world to prepare for us whereas we not only didn’t know that Shawn Michaels would come out, but we were already set in thinking the match wasn’t going to happen. You took advantage of the circumstances and it will never happen again.

DiBiase: We are the Tag Team Champions for a reason. It’s because we’re the best tag team in the WWE today. DX, your win last night was nothing but a fluke. Like Cody said, we weren’t ready for you two last night. But now that we know who we’re dealing with, it’s a guarantee that the next time we face off we’re going to destroy the two of you and prove to you guys that the Legacy is better than D-Generation X ever was or ever will be. You two are just immature has-beens whereas we are the future of this company.

Orton: You see all of Legacy was the victim of misfortune last night and we want justice. But if we aren’t going to receive justice….well then we’ll have to just make things right ourselves…our way.

John Cena’s music plays and the crowd cheers as John Cena makes his way to the ring.

Cole: Well it looks like the WWE Champion has a few words for Orton and his crew. I don’t think Cena liked how Orton said that Kennedy is the only reason why Cena has won two pay per views in a row.

King: Let’s hear what the champ has to say about all of this.

Cena gets into the ring and grabs a microphone as the crowd chants “Cena.”

Cena: And here we go again. Seriously, I feel like every week we go thru this. You come out here, complain about something, and then demand that it get fixed. The only change this week is that now you have the two lackeys complaining about their problems as well. I’ve gotta say Randy, you’ve taught them well on how to lose and complain like a little…

Orton: That’s enough! You always have to turn everything into a joke, don’t you Cena? Well this isn’t a laughing matter. That WWE Title means everything to me and I’m not going to just sit around after I get screwed out of being the WWE Champion. This is a serious matter so why don’t you stop acting like the age of all of your fans and grow up.

Cena: You want serious Randy? I’ll give you serious. The fact is Orton that for two straight pay per views I’ve won the WWE Championship matches. At Unforgiven, you should’ve noticed that I was still in the ring and had the STF locked on Kennedy. And then last night, that was all your own fault. You argued with the referee, you knocked him out, you brought the title belt into the ring, and you warranted Kennedy to attack you when you punted him in the head at Unforgiven for no reason. Orton, you have no one to blame but yourself for the fact that you’re not WWE Champion right now.

Orton: So you’re trying to justify your wins and Kennedy’s actions by blaming me? I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. If Kennedy wasn’t in the Scramble Match at Unforgiven, you never would’ve made someone tap out that quickly and I would still be WWE Champion. And if he hadn’t interfered last night when I had you down and out for the count, I would be standing here WWE Champion. You got lucky twice and Kennedy cost me the WWE Title twice. It’s not my fault, it’s Kennedy’s fault. Do you hear me Cena? It’s Kennedy’s….

Just then Mr. Kennedy’s music plays and the crowd cheers. Kennedy makes his way down to the ring as Orton stares at Kennedy the whole time.

King: Uh oh. Kennedy is coming out now. This may not end well.

Cole: Just look at Orton. He looks like he’s about to snap at any second.

King: I’m surprised Kennedy is even going into the ring. At least he has Cena to back him up.

Kennedy gets into the ring and grabs a microphone as the crowd chants “Kennedy.” Kennedy looks over at Orton who is still staring at Kennedy with an extremely angry look on his face.

Kennedy: Easy there Randy. I figured that since you guys keep talking about me that I should be out here and join in on this fun little back-and-forth you’re having.

Orton gets up in Kennedy’s face.

Orton: Give me one reason why I shouldn’t drop you right now.

Kennedy: Calm down Randy. I understand you’re pissed because you think I cost you the WWE Championship…twice. But I’m not exactly a happy camper either after you tried to take me out with a Punt a month ago. You keep talking about Unforgiven and how I tapped out with three seconds left. You keep saying that if anyone else was in that situation they would’ve held on the three seconds and you would still be champion. Well the reason I tapped so quickly is because I was assaulted six days before the pay per view. I’m sure you remember you lackeys taking me out when we were supposed to have a match. So if anyone is to blame here for that, I think you should look no further than to blame the Orton clones, Rhodes and DiBiase.

DiBiase: Now hold on here. You’re really trying to put the blame on us? First off you deserved every bit of that beating. And second, the doctors told you not to compete and you didn’t listen to them. That’s completely on you and not us. Just who the hell do you think you are trying to blame us for your fault?

Kennedy: Who am I? I’m Misterrrrrrrrrr…

Rhodes: No! Stop that! You’re not going to do you’re lame name saying catchphrase. Do you realize who we are? We are the Legacy. All three of us were born into this business and therefore better than anyone else, especially you. And we are not Randy Orton’s lackeys or clones as you put it. We are the Tag Team Champions and the greatest tag team in the WWE today. And no one can deny that or say otherwise.

DX’s music plays and the crowd cheers as Triple H and Shawn Michaels make their way to the ring.

Cole: Well here are two men that beg to differ. The two men that defeated Priceless last night at No Mercy, D-Generation X.

King: Triple H shocked us all last night by bring back Shawn Michaels as his partner as reforming DX. And now DX is back on Raw! I love it!

DX gets into the ring and each grab a microphone.

Triple H: So you guys are the best tag team in the WWE? I guess you forgot the fact that we beat you two last night. Maybe we hit you so hard that both of you forgot. Either that or you’re both just stupid.

DiBiase: Ha ha, very funny Triple H. And yet another funny guy comes down to the ring to gang up on Legacy. Can’t any of you take things seriously for once?

HBK: Well we seriously kicked your asses last night. Does that count?

Triple H: I would say that it does Shawn. See, we’re not all about joking around guys. If you want reassurance just watch the replay of No Mercy available all this week on pay per view. But for right now, we’ve got one question. Are you ready?

Rhodes: No, no, no, no! Enough with the stupid catchphrases and the cheap plugs from all of you. We’re sick of this crap. Last night was nothing more than an act of injustice. Randy Orton was screwed out of the WWE Title and we should’ve won the match by forfeit after you didn’t show up. Everything was unfair last night and yet you four seem to think it was all ok.

HBK: There was nothing unjust about our match. DX came out, DX faced you two, and DX beat you two. You’re just mad that you couldn’t back your words up.

Orton: Shut up Shawn. Who cares what you have to say. You haven’t even been around here for the past few months. I don’t care what any of you have to say. All I want is my rightful title shot and I want it now.

Kennedy: Now hold on here. Randy, you already had your chance last night and blew it. I want a title shot now. I’ve never been a world champion and I want a chance at the gold.

DiBiase: You think you deserve a title shot Kennedy? For what? Ruining the WWE Championship match last night? Randy is much more deserving. Hell, Cody and I are much more deserving of a title shot than you.

Triple H: Is that so? Well I’d say that I’m more deserving than the both of you and I want the WWE Title shot.

HBK: Well since it looks like everyone else is throwing their name out there, I want a shot at the WWE Title too.

Orton: NO! No one is getting a title shot before me. There is no one on this roster that deserves a WWE Title match more than me. No one!

Big Show’s music plays and the crowd boos as the Big Show makes his way to the ring with the United States Title on his shoulder.

King: And here comes the new United States Champion now joining the fray.

Cole: Orton said that no one deserved a title shot more than him. Well I think Big Show disagrees with Orton.

King: Big Show not only won the United States Title in a dominant way last night, but he also took out MVP indefinitely. I’d say that deserves a title shot.

Big Show gets into the ring and grabs a microphone.

Big Show: What was that Randy? No one deserves a title shot more than you? Let me remind you what I did last night at No Mercy. I defeated MVP after a Chokeslam and Knockout Punch combination to become the new United States Champion. And after that, I took MVP and made my statement to the world. I delivered another Knockout Punch to him, tossed his lifeless body to the outside floor, and then Chokeslammed him through a table. I beat MVP up so badly that he was carried off by EMT’s and now MVP is going to be out for a very long time. And that all happened by these hands alone. So if anyone deserves the next shot at the WWE Title, it’s me.

Cena: Ok, hold on here. Now everyone has their case to be the new number on contender for my title. Randy Orton, obviously you feel like you were cheated out of your shot last night. Kennedy, you think Orton has had enough title shots and you want your shot finally. Rhodes and DiBiase, you two are the Tag Team Champions and have been so dominant in recent weeks. Triple H and Shawn Michaels, you two defeated Priceless last night at No Mercy. And Big Show, you’re the new United States Champion and you took out MVP. All great reasons, but we can’t just be giving title shots away to everyone. We need a civilized way of figuring out who my next opponent will be.

Vickie Guerrero’s music plays and the crowd boos as Vickie comes out on the titantron with a microphone.

Vickie: Excuse me! No one is naming themselves as the number one contender. That’s my job. Now I heard all of you in the back and I came up with a solution. At Cyber Sunday, John Cena will be defending the WWE Title, but we won’t know his opponent until that night. Every match at Cyber Sunday needs a stipulation for the fans to vote on, so the stipulation the WWE Universe gets to vote on is John Cena’s opponent. There will be three choices for the fans to vote on. We will determine those choices here tonight in three matches. Tonight, in our main event, Randy Orton will take on the returning Shawn Michaels. Mr. Kennedy, since you did ruin the WWE Title match last night, tonight you will face Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes in a triple threat match for one of the spots. And the third spot will determined between Triple H and the new United States Champion the Big Show. And that match will happen right now.

King: Vickie Guerrero coming out and laying down the law. What a great idea she had, I don’t say that often about Vickie.

Cole: Seven men battle in three matches for a right to be voted on at Cyber Sunday for the WWE Championship match. Who will be those three men? We’ll find out one of them when we return with Triple H verses the Big Show here on Monday Night Raw.

Triple H gets up and turns around into a massive Spear by the Big Show. Big Show then lifts Triple H up and delivers a Knockout Punch to him. The cover, 1…2…3 Big Show wins.
Winner: Big Show

Lilian: Here is your winner, the Big Show.

Cole: Well after an impressive win over Triple H here, the Big Show becomes the first person to qualify as a choice at Cyber Sunday.

King: That’s right. Big Show will be one of the three options for the fans to choose to see who faces John Cena for the WWE Championship.

Cole: Big Show is on such an impressive role. First he wins the United States Title and now he wins this huge qualifying match.

King: And don’t forget he took out MVP. Whether you liked it or not, it was damn impressive and impactful. But imagine the Big Show was chosen to face John Cena at Cyber Sunday and won? He’d be a double champion. Who’d be able to stop him?

Cole: Who can stop him now? Big Show has been on a huge dominating role as of late. Later tonight we will find out who will be the other two options along with the Big Show. Who will join Big Show as a choice at Cyber Sunday? Stay tuned for more Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network to find out.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial, we see a recap video showing clips from DX verses Priceless from No Mercy last night. We see Priceless talking to the referee about Triple H forfeiting the match and then DX’s music hits and they come out to the ring. We see various clips from the match. We see Michaels come in and attack DiBiase from behind. DiBiase turns around and Michaels delivers Sweet Chin Music to DiBiase, sending him out of the ring. Rhodes grabs Triple H and sets up for the Cross Rhodes, but Michaels delivers Sweet Chin Music to Rhodes. Rhodes falls backwards off the ropes and comes back right into the Pedigree by Triple H. The cover, 1…2…3 DX wins. The video ends with DX taunting.

Backstage we see Vickie Guerrero in her office. We hear a knock at the door.

Vickie: Come in.

Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase come into the room.

DiBiase: You wanted to see us Vickie.

Vickie: Yes. Now regardless of last night and what happens tonight, you two are the current Tag Team Champions.

Rhodes: Yeah, so?

Vickie: Well the Tag Team Titles are not just exclusive to Raw. The titles are available to every brand, Raw, ECW and Smackdown. The thing is though that you two haven’t really made the titles available to ECW or Smackdown now have you?

Rhodes: No but why does that matter? If no one on Raw can beat us why would someone on ECW or Smackdown be able to?

Vickie: First off I believe last night you lost to DX…

DiBiase: That was a fluke. It will never happen again.

Vickie: Ok whatever. Anyway I’ve been receiving complaints about how you two and the Tag Team Titles haven’t been available to the other brands, so we’re going to change that. Starting now you two will make appearances on ECW and Smackdown as well as Raw so that all the tag teams have a chance to take you guys on.

DiBiase: Are you kidding me? You’re going to have us fight on all three brands? Do you realize who we are? Cody and I are the future of this company. You can’t have us fighting that much. You could jeopardize our careers.

Vickie: You’ll be just fine. Now to start you off a match was already made for you two on Smackdown. It will be the two of you, in a non-titled match of course, against Cryme Tyme.

Rhodes: Ok that’s fine. We’re not happy about this whole decision, but if that’s the way it’s going to be then we’ll just have to show each and every tag team why they don’t deserve to have the Tag Team Champions come on their show. Tonight Ted and I will take out Mr. Kennedy…again and then we’ll go onto Smackdown this Friday and take out those street thugs.

DiBiase: We will knock off every tag team put in front of us. And if DX dares to get in the ring with us again, we’ll give them the beating that they deserve and show them that the Legacy is better than DX ever was.

DiBiase and Rhodes walk out of the office with a determined look on their faces.

Kelly Kelly’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: The following six diva tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Mickie James, the team of Nikki and Brie, the Bella Twins and Kelly Kelly.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw as we get ready for some diva tag team action.

King: My favorite part of the show. Diva tag team matches are my favorite because I get to all of my favorites in one match. Look right now we’ve got Kelly Kelly, the Bella Twins, and even Mickie James came out here to join them.

Cole: I can tell you’re in heaven right now King. Well Mickie James is out here at ringside. Mickie is still looking to take the Diva’s Championship away from Maryse and become the first diva in WWE history to have held both the Diva’s and Women’s Championships.

Maryse’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: And their opponents, Rosa Mendes, Beth Phoenix, and the Diva’s Champion Maryse.

King: But for that to happen, Mickie has to take the title away from the lovely and arrogant Maryse, which is much easier said than done.

Cole: You’re right King. Remember back at Unforgiven these two faced off for the Diva’s Championship and Maryse retained her title. Mickie looks to regain her number one contender spot and get another shot at the gold.

King: But for right now Michael we have some great diva action ahead of us in a six diva tag team match. And any of these lovely young ladies in the ring could be the next challenger for Maryse.

Kelly Kelly, & The Bella Twins vs. Maryse, Beth Phoenix, & Rosa Mendes
-The match is a back and forth contest, with both diva teams getting multiple tag ins. Towards the end, Brie and Maryse are the two legal divas. Maryse shoves Brie to the ground. Maryse gets Brie in a Camel Clutch and then starts rubbing Brie’s face into the mat. Maryse lifts Brie up and drops her on her knee for a gutbuster. The cover, 1…2…Brie kicks out. Maryse drags Brie by the hair over to her corner. Maryse tags in Rosa as Maryse chokes Brie in the corner with her foot. Rosa comes in and starts to stop away at Brie. Rosa lifts Brie up to a vertical base and hits a snapmare. Rosa then follows up with a running dropkick to the back of Brie’s head. The cover, 1….2…Brie kicks out. Rosa gets Brie in a headlock and wrenches away. Mickie starts clapping at ringside and gets the crowd to start clapping, which Brie feeds off of. Brie gets to a vertical base and starts to elbow Rosa in the gut, but Rosa counters with a club to the back of the neck. Rosa runs off the ropes at Brie for a clothesline, but Brie ducks. As Rosa turns around, Brie grabs here and hits a flying mare. Rosa gets up and gets hit with a dropkick by Brie. Rosa gets up again and swings away at Brie, but Brie catches Rosa’s arm and connects with an arm-trap neckbreaker. Brie starts to crawl to her corner, as Rosa is crawling to try and stop her. Brie kicks Rosa off of her and tags in Kelly. Kelly gets in and hits Rosa with a flying forearm. Rosa gets up and Kelly connects with a few forearms to Rosa. Kelly then dropkicks Rosa which sends her back into a corner. Kelly sets up in the opposite corner and does her back-handspring into a back elbow strike combination. The cover, 1…2…Rosa kicks out. Kelly taught to the crowd and stalks Rosa as she slowly gets up. Just then, Maryse comes in and attacks Kelly from behind. She starts to punch and kick her until the Bellas come in and attack Maryse. The Bellas then perform a double dropkick to Maryse, which sends her to the outside. As this happens, Rosa has crawled to her corner and tagged in Beth. Beth runs in and clothesline both Bellas over the top rope. Beth turns around into a spin kick by Kelly. Kelly then stalks Beth. As this happens, Mickie is attacked at ringside by Jillian. Kelly sees this and gets distracted. Beth gets up, grabs the distracted Kelly, and hits the Glam Slam on Kelly. The cover, 1…2…3 Beth wins it for her team.
Winners: Maryse, Beth Phoenix, & Rosa Mendes

Lilian: Here are your winners, Rosa Mendes, Maryse, and Beth Phoenix.

Cole: And a nice win picked up by the Glamazon for her team, but not without the distraction by Jillian on the outside.

King: Yeah well Kelly Kelly was setting Beth up for something and then saw her friend Mickie James getting attacked at ringside. Once Beth got up and grabbed Kelly it was all over.

Jillian tosses Mickie into the ring just as Maryse and Rosa take out the Bellas on the outside. Maryse, Rosa, and Jillian get into the ring too.

Cole: And Maryse and Rosa make sure the Bellas stay on the outside. They’re getting back into the ring. What are they doing now?

Maryse grabs Mickie by the hair and starts talking trash to her and she holds her Diva’s Title in her face.

King: Maryse getting right up in the face of Mickie James and telling her she’ll never be the Diva’s Champion. Maryse just loves to add insult to injury.

Maryse drops the title belt, grabs Mickie, and hits the French Kiss on the Diva’s Title.

Cole: Oh my god! The French Kiss to Mickie right on that Diva’s Title belt. Mickie James was just spiked onto that thing. Maryse definitely sent a message to the hopeful challenger Mickie James.

Maryse, Beth, Rosa, and Jillian walk up the ramp looking back at the ring as Maryse holds her Diva’s Championship high.

King: And Maryse holds that title high proudly. It looks like getting the Diva’s Title is going to be tougher than Mickie thought.

Cole: No kidding. Maryse is not going down without a fight. Can anyone stop the Diva’s Champion? Well still to come tonight, we have two more Cyber Sunday Qualifying matches. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. We still have two qualifying matches for Cyber Sunday left. The Big Show has already qualified to be one of the choices in the WWE Championship match.

King: Well speaking of the Big Show, right now we’d like to talk about the heinous actions by the new United States Champion last night on MVP.

Cole: Heinous is exactly how I’d describe what we saw.

We see on the screen clips from No Mercy as the commentators talk. First we see Big Show lifting MVP up for a Chokeslam but on the way down, connecting with the Knockout Punch to MVP for double the impact. The cover, 1…2…3, the Big Show wins the match and holds his newly won U.S. Title high.

Cole: Big Show ended the title match after a double impact move by delivering a Knockout Punch along with a Chokeslam. Big Show won the match and MVP was out, but that wasn’t enough for the Big Show.

We then see Big Show grab MVP’s head, lift it up a bit and connect with another Knockout Punch to MVP.

King: Big Show lifted MVP’s head up and delivered another Knockout Punch to the former champion.

We then see Big Show then lift MVP up and military press his lifeless body to the outside.

King: Then Big Show lifted MVP’s lifeless body over his head and just tosses him over the top rope and to the arena floor.

We then see Big Show grab MVP by the throat and yell in his face that he’s not done with him yet. Big Show lifts MVP up and Chokeslams him through one of the announce table. The video clip ends with Big Show holding his U.S. title high as he looking down at the fallen MVP, who is being attended to by the EMTs.

Cole: And if that’s wasn’t enough, Big Show lifted up MVP one more time and Chokeslammed him through the announce table. The EMTs had rushed out to help MVP who wasn’t moving an inch. We’ve received word that MVP will be out for a few months at least. At this point we’re unsure of when exactly he’ll return, but we’d like to wish MVP a speedy recovery.

King: Yeah we hope MVP is ok, but you have to admit Big Show really showed his dominance last night.

Cole: What Big Show did last night was a disgrace. He showed his dominance with the end of the match. Big Show went too far last night!

We cut backstage to see Cody Rhodes on the ground knocked out and bleeding from the forehead. The EMTs are attending to him as Orton and DiBiase rush in.

DiBiase: CODY!

The EMTs keep DiBiase and Orton back from Rhodes as they try to help him.

DiBiase: What happened here?

Orton: Kennedy.

DiBiase: What?

Orton: I know it was Kennedy. He’s trying to take us down. He’s especially trying to take me down. He knew that he wasn’t going to be able to beat the two of you tonight so he took out Cody so that it’s a one-on-one match now.

Orton puts his hand on DiBiase’s back.

Orton: You’ll have to take on Kennedy alone now.

DiBiase: Don’t worry. I’m going to take out Kennedy for screwing you out of the tile last night and for what he just did to Cody. Kennedy messed with the wrong group.

DiBiase walks off to the ring for his match as Orton looks on with a stern look on his face.

Cole: Well it looks like the triple threat match will now be a singles match. It’ll be Mr. Kennedy verses Ted DiBiase. The second Cyber Sunday Qualifying match is up next here on Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Legacy’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Cyber Sunday qualifying match. Making his way to the ring, from Palm Springs, Florida, weighing in at 235 pounds, one half of the Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw as we get ready for our second Cyber Sunday Qualifying match where the winner will join Big Show as one of the three choices for the WWE Championship match.

King: You can see Ted DiBiase looking very concerned right now. I don’t know what he’s more concerned about. The fact that his partner and friend Cody Rhodes got taken out before the break or that he now has to face Mr. Kennedy one-on-one.

Cole: Well this match was supposed to be a triple threat match between Kennedy, DiBiase, and Rhodes but as King mentioned before the break Cody Rhodes was found knocked out and bleeding on the floor. Orton is positive Kennedy did this and he may be right. But can DiBiase do this alone?

Mr. Kennedy’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, weighing in at 235 pounds, Mr. Kennedy.

King: And here comes Kennedy now. If Kennedy did attack Rhodes it was a smart move because now he actually has a shot at winning the match instead of being the victim of a two on one assault by Priceless.

Cole: That’s definitely the reason why Kennedy would’ve attacked Rhodes, but also to possibly send a message to Randy Orton. Don’t forget Orton tried to put Kennedy permanently on the shelf last month with that Punt.

King: And even before that Kennedy was brutally beaten by DiBiase and Rhodes so there’s also that being motivation to take out Rhodes and beat DiBiase here tonight. Can Kennedy work his way towards a possible WWE Title shot?

Cyber Sunday Qualifying Match
Ted DiBiase vs. Mr. Kennedy

-The match is a even back and forth contest. Towards the end, DiBiase is in control of the match. DiBiase has Kennedy in a corner and starts punching away at him rapidly until the referee has to pull him back. DiBiase goes back over to Kennedy, lifts him up, and scoop slams him to the mat hard. DiBiase then connects with multiple fist drops to the face of Kennedy. DiBiase finishes off by going to the second rope and nailing Kennedy with a fist drop. The cover, 1…2…Kennedy kicks out. DiBiase gets right up and starts to stomp away at Kennedy. DiBiase gets Kennedy up and connects with a neckbreaker on him. DiBiase flips Kennedy over on his stomach and starts to deliver knee shots to the back of Kennedy’s neck. DiBiase goes for the Million Dollar Dream, but Kennedy manages to get out of it before the hold is locked in and then pulls DiBiase back for a clothesline, but DiBiase ducks under it. DiBiase turns Kennedy around and connects with an STO that ends with the back of Kennedy’s neck landing on DiBiase’s knee. The cover, 1…2…Kennedy kicks out. DiBiase goes right into a side headlock and wrenches away. Kennedy starts to get up slowly and ends up countering out of the hold with a back suplex to DiBiase. Both men start to get up and meet face to face. DiBiase throws the first punch, but Kennedy strikes right back. DiBiase connects with another punch, but Kennedy strikes back again. DiBiase goes for another punch, but Kennedy ducks this. DiBiase swings away at Kennedy a few times, but Kennedy keeps ducking the punches. Kennedy then runs at DiBiase and backs him up into a corner. Kennedy delivers a few shoulder thrusts to the gut of DiBiase. Kennedy then starts to punch and kick at DiBiase until he’s sitting in the corner. Kennedy runs off the ropes and connects with the Face Wash to DiBiase. The cover, 1…2…DiBiase kicks out. Kennedy lifts DiBiase on his shoulders, but he is too close to the ropes and DiBiase grabs onto the ropes. Kennedy tries to pull him off, but no luck. Kennedy then just drops DiBiase across the ropes, which leaves him stunned. As DiBiase stumbles backwards, Kennedy turns DiBiase around and sets him up for the Mic Check, but DiBiase is able to get out of it by elbowing Kennedy in the head a few times. DiBiase grabs Kennedy from behind and locks in the Million Dollar Dream. Kennedy quickly backs up and slams DiBiase in the corner to get out of the hold. Kennedy quickly turns around and connects with a spin kick to the head of DiBiase. Kennedy then sets DiBiase up top in the corner. Kennedy then gets up in the corner as well and has DiBiase on his shoulders, Kennedy jumps off the ropes and connects with the Green Bay Plunge to DiBiase. The cover, 1…2…3 Kennedy wins.
Winner: Mr. Kennedy

Lilian: Here is your winner, Mr. Kennedy.

Cole: And with that win Mr. Kennedy joins the Big Show as one of the three choices to face John Cena for the WWE Championship at Cyber Sunday.

King: Kennedy was impressive here tonight. If he keeps this up and gets voted in by the fans we could be looking at the next WWE Champion.

Kennedy grabs a microphone.

Kennedy: Just to clear some things up here, yes I was the one that took out Cody Rhodes backstage. Don’t worry though he gets beaten up a lot anyway so he’ll be fine. And now that I’ve beaten the other half of the Orton clones I’m now an option in the WWE Championship match at Cyber Sunday. And I’m encouraging all of you to vote for me to face John Cena because I will not disappoint you all. And Randy, last night was just a taste at what I’m going to do to you for trying to end my career. I will not rest until I take out the entire Legacy. And Orton, I will personally make sure you will never become WWE Champion again because after Cyber Sunday the new WWE Champion will be Misterrrrrrrrrrrrrr Kennedyyyyyyyyyyyyy……………………….. Kennedy!

Cole: Kennedy making it known that he wants the WWE Championship shot and told Orton that he wants his revenge on Legacy for trying to take him out.

King: Yeah but after last night and tonight I’m sure Legacy wants Kennedy just as badly as he wants them. This may be tougher than Kennedy thinks. He needs to look out for the calculating, diabolical Randy Orton.

Cole: Nonetheless Kennedy campaigning for votes already and we still have one more match to determine the last choice for the WWE Championship match. It will be Randy Orton verses Shawn Michaels in our main event. Stay tuned. More Monday Night Raw when we return here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see Ted DiBiase walking back from the ring holding his back. DiBiase then runs into Carlito and Primo.

Carlito: Well, well, well. Look who we have here. Ted DiBiase and… wait I don’t see you partner anywhere. I didn’t know you two could be detached.

DiBiase: What the hell do you two want?

Primo: We couldn’t help but hear before what Vickie Guerrero said to you and Cody about fighting the tag teams on the other brands. Thing is that even though there are hungry teams on ECW and Smackdown, we’re hungrier than all of them.

Carlito: We’re not giving up on getting our Tag Team Titles back. You’re still not done with us.

Primo: And now that it seems like your hot streak is over, we can beat you like we know that we can and take back the Tag Team Championship.

Carlito: Now that…..that’s cool!

The Colons walk away as DiBiase looks on hurt and angry.

King: Looks like the Colons don’t want Priceless to forget about them now that they have to go to the other brands.

Cole: Well don’t forget Vickie Guerrero told Priceless earlier tonight that they must compete on the other shows against the other tag teams. And we’ve been told that despite Rhodes being attacked, Priceless will still be facing Cryme Tyme on Smackdown this Friday.

King: You don’t want to miss that. That’s going to be a great match. I wonder what Cody Rhodes’s condition will be then.

Backstage we see a reporter interviewing The Miz.

Reporter: I’m here with my guest at this time The Miz. Now Miz you’ve made it no secret that you’re after the United States Title. This week on WWE Superstars you will be involved in a tag team match with three of the people who just like you have also been competing for a U.S. Title shot. You will team up with The Brian Kendrick to take on Chavo Guerrero and Kofi Kingston. But before we talk about that, as of last night there is a new United States Champion, the Big Show. What is your reaction to there being a new champion?

Miz: You want to know what I think of Big Show being the new champion? I don’t care. Big Show may be a “dominant giant” and took out MVP last night, but it doesn’t faze me at all. MVP is weak and was unfit to be a champion. The only difference now is that when I go for the title it will be a little bit more of a challenge. But when I do get that shot at the United States Title, it won’t matter who the champion is since I will be walking out with the title belt, because I’m The Miz……And I’m….

Miz stops as he sees Maryse, Jillian, Beth Phoenix, and Rosa Mendes walk by. Miz stops Maryse by putting his arm in front of her.

Miz: Woah, woah, woah. What do we have here? I haven’t seen you in awhile but I knew you’d come crawling back to me.

Maryse: Please Miz. I would never come “crawling back” to you. You know why we didn’t work out before? It’s because I was a winner and you weren’t. And since I’m the one still with the gold, it seems like that’s still true.

Miz: I’m not a winner? Really? Really Maryse? Really? Do you realize who I am? I’m The Miz! I carried the greatest tag team of the twenty-first century. I’m a chick magnet. And even though I can have any diva on this roster I want you. You should feel really honored by this.

Maryse: Honored? You will never get someone as hot as me. Je suis trop chaud pour vous.

Miz: I have no idea what you said but it sounded so hot.

Maryse rolls her eyes and puts her hand in Miz’s face.

Maryse: Au revoir.

Maryse walks away and Beth, Jillian, and Rosa follow her as Miz stares off at Maryse.

Miz: She so wanted me. Because I’m The Miz…. And I’m Awesome!

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we return from commercial break, we see clips from Batista verses Matt Hardy from last night at No Mercy. We see Matt grab a chair in the ring and go to swing at Batista, but Batista ducks and connects with a Spine Buster. Batista grabs the steel chair and starts hitting the ground with it waiting for Matt to get up. Batista charges at Matt with the chair, but Matt quickly gets out of the ring and runs up the ramp and backstage. Batista runs after Matt backstage. We then cut to later in the night with Matt in the parking lot waiting for his car as he looks around for Batista. The car pulls around and Matt goes to get in it but Batista runs in and attack Matt. Batista rams Matt into the car a few times, tosses him into the open car door so hard that it snaps off, and then delivers a Spine Buster to Matt on the hood of his car. We hear Batista say, “This isn’t over. Not by a long shot.” The video ends with Batista walking off as Matt lays hurt on floor by the car.

Batista’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 290 pounds, Batista.

Cole: Welcome back to Raw as The Animal makes his way to the ring. After what happened last night, Batista has got to be in a foul mood.

King: You’ve got that right Michael. Last night was supposed to make up for the Unforgiven results between Matt Hardy and Batista, but Matt Hardy found his way out destruction yet again by running into the back.

Cole: But the night didn’t end like that. Batista followed Matt Hardy backstage and ended up delivering a Spine Buster to Hardy onto his car in the parking lot as Matt was trying to escape. And then Batista said to Matt before he left “This isn't over.”

William Regal’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: And his opponent, from Blackpool, England, weighing in at 240 pounds, William Regal.

King: Well Batista is right. This is far from over between Matt Hardy and Batista. But if a No DQ Match couldn’t get the job done, what can?

Cole: That’s a good question and I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. But right now Batista will have to face this man, the brute Englishman, William Regal. Regal is no easy task, but right now I wouldn’t want to be Regal in the state of mind Batista is in right now.

King: I agree. Batista looks like he can snap any minute. And I’m sure he’s picturing Regal to be Matt Hardy. Regal is going to have his hands full here.

Batista vs. William Regal
-The match is mostly controlled by Batista with Regal getting a few moves in. Towards the end, Batista is in control of the match. Batista gets Regal in the corner and starts to connect with a few shoulder thrusts to the gut of Regal. Batista then lifts Regal up in the corner, sets him up, and then connects with the Muscle Buster. The cover, 1…2…Regal kicks out. Batista lifts Regal up and tosses him hard into the opposite corner. Batista charges at Regal, but Regal puts his boot up. Batista stumbles back a bit and charges again, but Regal then puts up both knees which knocks Batista down. Regal then gets out of the corner and connects with multiple knee drops to the chest of Batista. The cover, 1…2…Batista kicks out. Regal lifts Batista up and starts to connect with knee strikes to the head of Batista. Regal then grabs Batista and connects with a double underhook suplex. The cover, 1…2…Batista kicks out. Regal then drags Batista over to the ropes and starts to choke him on the ropes until the referee tells him to get off. Regal lifts Batista up and starts to deliver massive forearms to the face of Batista. Regal goes to irish whip Batista but Batista reverses it. Batista bends down for a back body drop but Regal kicks Batista to counter it. Regal goes off the ropes at Batista but Batista counters with a huge clothesline. Batista lifts Regal up and starts to deliver forearms to the face of Regal. Batista tosses Regal off the ropes and catches him when he comes back with a swinging side slam. The cover, 1…2…Regal kicks out. Batista lifts Regal up and goes for a suplex, but Regal counters with a sneaky low bow that’s undetected by the referee. Regal then grabs Batista and delivers a T-bone suplex to him. The cover, 1…2…Batista kicks out. Regal stalks Batista as he slowly gets up. Regal runs at Batista for the Knee Trembler, but Batista moves and then connects with a Spear to Regal as he turns around. Batista then lifts Regal up and delivers a Spine Buster to him. Batista starts to get pumped up. Batista lifts Regal up and delivers another Spine Buster. Batista then gets hyped up with the rope shake and then does the thumbs down taunt. Batista sets up for the Batista Bomb, but just then Matt Hardy comes down to the ring and attacks Batista from behind by taking out his legs. The referee makes the decision that Batista wins due to outside interference.
Winner: Batista (via DQ)

Cole: And Matt Hardy comes out and attacks Batista right before the Batista Bomb to Regal.

King: Regal can thank Hardy for that.

Matt Hardy continues to punch and stomp on Batista.

Cole: Matt beating up Batista, probably to get some retribution from receiving a Spine Buster on the hood of his car.

Batista has a surge of energy and is able to shove Matt off of him.

King: Uh oh. Batista just shoved Matt off. This looks bad for Hardy.

Batista grabs Matt and delivers a Spine Buster to him.

Cole: And a devastating Spine Buster to Matt Hardy just like last night at No Mercy.

Matt quickly rolls out of the ring and goes up the ramp as Batista is all hyped up and ready to fight in the ring.

King: Smart move by Matt getting out of harms way before Batista could inflict anymore pain onto him. Looks like Matt’s original plan backfired.

Just then Vickie Guerrero’s music plays and the crowd boos. Vickie comes out on the titantron with a microphone.

Vickie: Now hold on here. This fighting between you two has gone on long enough. I thought the No Disqualification Match would have settled things but I guess not. Instead of getting disqualified this time Matt you ran away from the match. Well I’ve had it with the way these matches between you two are ending. We’re going to finish this once and for all at Cyber Sunday. It will be Matt Hardy verses Batista and the fans will choose the match type. All three of these choices will make it so that it is impossible to run away or get disqualified and it will guarantee us a winner and finally end this feud. The choices will be a Lumberjack Match, a Steel Cage Match, or a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Good luck to the both of you.

Matt tries to reason with Vickie as Batista looks on very pleased about the decision.

Cole: Wow what an announcement by our General Manager. We were saying before what can possibly contain these two superstars to make sure the match actually ends and Vickie Guerrero comes up with not one but three options for Batista and Matt Hardy to fight in.

King: And now all that’s left is to find out what match will they face off in. That will be determined by you the fans as you vote on what huge match stipulation these two will end their feud in. This is huge news.

Cole: Yeah it is King. And you know what else is huge? Our main event tonight. It’s Shawn Michaels in his Raw return taking on Randy Orton to see who will be the final choice in the WWE Championship match at Cyber Sunday. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see a reporter with John Cena.

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is the WWE Champion, John Cena. Cena, last night’s title match was filled with controversy and now you learn that at Cyber Sunday you will defend your title but you will have no idea who until before the match. We already know Big Show and Mr. Kennedy will be two of the choices and the other choice will be either Shawn Michaels or Randy Orton. What is your reaction to all of this?

Cena: A lot has happened in the last twenty-four hours. Yes I’m not going to deny it. Last night’s title match finish was controversial, but I just want to say that I didn’t ask for it to be and I had nothing to do with Kennedy coming out. Kennedy did that on his own and I don’t blame him after he was almost taken out by Randy Orton for no reason at Unforgiven. As I said earlier, Orton knocked out the referee and his actions are the reason why Kennedy interfered. But that’s all in the past. It’s done with and nothing can change that the Champ Is Still Here! But now onto Cyber Sunday. Cyber Sunday is a very unique concept. Every match has a stipulation that our fans get to vote on. Mine happens to be that the fans pick my opponent. Yes it will be tough to prepare not knowing my opponent, but I’m the WWE Champion for a reason. I can persevere. I have been in so many challenges where the odds were against me. But every time I’ve overcome the odds and came out on top. And at Cyber Sunday it will be no different. I will walk in as WWE Champion, and no matter who my opponent is, I will walk out still the WWE Champion.

King: Well the Champ seems ready for Cyber Sunday. He doesn’t care who his opponent will be. He’s confident he’ll keep the WWE Title.

In the background “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise plays.

Cole: Well speaking of Cyber Sunday you’re listening to the official theme. It’s “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise off their new debut album Out Of Ashes, available now. Cyber Sunday is the only pay per view of the whole year where you the fans get to vote on a stipulation for every match. It’s in three weeks and already the card is shaping up to be great.

King: That’s right Michael. First off we have the final match between Matt Hardy and Batista. After a DQ ending at Unforgiven and a No Contest ruling last night at No Mercy after Matt Hardy walked out, Vickie Guerrero has given three match types to fix this problem. You the fans get to choose if Matt Hardy and Batista fight in a Lumberjack Match, a Steel Cage Match, or a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Each match was specifically picked so that there are no DQ endings or running away. This match will end.

Cole: That was a great job by Vickie Guerrero on that match as well as on the main event. The WWE Champion John Cena will defend his title at Cyber Sunday but the question is against who? Well that’s where you the fans come in. You get to decide who John Cena will face between the three choices. So far Big Show and Mr. Kennedy have qualifies as choices for this match. Who will be the third and final option? Will it be Randy Orton or Shawn Michaels? We’re going to find out next when we return to Monday Night Raw with our main event here on the USA Network. Don’t go anywhere.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Randy Orton’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is the final Cyber Sunday qualifying match. Making his way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, Randy Orton.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw and it’s now time for our main event of the night. It’s the final Cyber Sunday qualifying match and you know that this man Randy Orton is intent on winning this so he can get another shot at the WWE Title.

King: You saw Orton earlier tonight. He’s all business tonight after being screwed out of the WWE Title last night by Mr. Kennedy. Ever since losing the title at Unforgiven, Orton hasn’t been the same.

Cole: Well a win here will take him one step closer towards the WWE Championship. What about Kennedy saying earlier he wasn’t going to rest until all of Legacy falls? Kennedy has to be in the back of the mind of Orton, but for right now Orton needs to concentrate on his opponent.

Shawn Michaels’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at 225 pounds, the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.

King: And here’s his opponent now, making his return to Monday Night Raw for the first time since WrestleMania 25. This is going to be a tough challenge for Orton.

Cole: Last night at No Mercy, Shawn Michaels returned as Triple H’s mystery partner to take on Orton’s protégés Rhodes and DiBiase. Michaels looked like he hadn’t missed a beat as he delivered Sweet Chin Music to both of the Tag Team Champions, leading to the win for D-Generation X.

King: A win here could be huge for Shawn. He hasn’t had a WWE Championship shot in a long time. This could be his big opportunity, but first he needs to knock off a very frustrated and enraged Randy Orton. Who will be the third choice for Cyber Sunday? We’re about to find out now.

Orton tosses HBK off the ropes but HBK comes back with a flying forearm strike, followed by a kip up. Orton gets back up and HBK delivers an inverted atomic drop followed by punches. HBK scoop slams Orton and then goes to the top rope. HBK sets up, jumps off, and connects with the flying elbow drop. HBK gets up and gets hyped up. HBK tunes up the band as Orton slowly gets up. Just then, DiBiase comes down to the ring and onto the apron, yelling at HBK. HBK goes over to DiBiase and hits him with Sweet Chin Music, which knocks DiBiase off the apron. HBK turns around and gets hit with a quick RKO by Orton. The cover, 1…2…3 Orton wins.
Winner: Randy Orton

Lilian: Here is your winner, Randy Orton.

Cole: Well after the distraction from Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton wins the match and becomes the third and final choice for the WWE Championship match.

King: DiBiase coming out here obviously to help his leader Randy Orton, but I think he also did it for hi and Cody after losing last night to DX.

Cole: That’s true. Priceless felt embarrassed last night and they blame it all on Shawn Michaels coming back to help Triple H.

King: But the big story is that Randy Orton now joins the United States Champion the Big Show and Mr. Kennedy as the three choices for the WWE Championship match at Cyber Sunday.

As Orton is celebrating, Mr. Kennedy runs down to the ring.

Cole: Wait a minute King. Here comes Kennedy!

Kennedy gets into the ring and tackles Orton.

King: And here we go. We knew this had to happen soon enough with all the tension between these two.

Kennedy and Orton roll around in the ring exchanging punches with each other until security and the referees break them up.

Cole: And finally these two are broken up. They both just want to tear each other apart.

King: Can you blame either one? Orton almost ended Kennedy’s career and Kennedy cost Orton the WWE Championship.

Vickie Guerrero then comes out on the titantron with a microphone.

Vickie: Excuse Me! That’s it. This has gone far enough. I have Priceless complaining all night about last night’s match with DX being unfair and then DiBiase comes out and costs Shawn Michaels the match. And then I have you Kennedy taking out Cody Rhodes and now you two are brawling in this ring like barbarians. I won’t stand for this. So next week on Raw we’re going to settle two disputes in one match. It will be Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, and you Randy Orton taking on Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and you Mr. Kennedy in a six man tag team match and that’s final. And while I’m out here, next week’s main event will be a champion verses champion match. The United States Champion the Big Show will take on the WWE Champion John Cena. Now security, get these two out of here. Good luck next week gentlemen.

Kennedy and Orton stare off at each other and yelling at one another as the security holds them back and tries to get them out of here.

Cole: Wow did you hear that? Two huge matches made for next week’s Raw already. We’re going to see all three members of Legacy take on DX and Mr. Kennedy. With the feuds in this match, the ring is going to implode next week.

King: And if that wasn’t big enough we have a huge main event for next week. It’s going to be the United States Champion the Big Show taking on the WWE Champion John Cena in a champion verses champion match. Not only is this a huge match but it could also be a preview for Cyber Sunday.

Cole: Yes it could King. What a night we’ve had here tonight. Don’t forget to join us next week here on Monday Night Raw for those two huge matches. From Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, goodnight everyone.

ECW Preview
October 6, 2009
Trenton, NJ

Just two days removed from No Mercy, the landscape of the Land of Extreme has changed drastically. At the pay per view, a new ECW Champion was crowned in Paul Burchill. After a terrific match with former champion Christian, The Ripper was finally able to achieve his goal and take the ECW Championship belt. With a new champion reigning over ECW, how will things change for the brand? What impact will the new champion and his sister make?

Speaking of the ECW Championship, it may not be long before we find out who will be Paul Burchill’s first challenger. General Manager Tommy Dreamer is rumored to make an announcement about the ECW Championship match at Cyber Sunday. With an entire locker room waiting in line, who will Dreamer announce as the new number one contender to the ECW Championship? Tune in this Tuesday to ECW on SyFy to find out.

WWE Superstars Preview
October 8, 2009

This week on WWE Superstars, the Raw brand will be represented by the United States Title contenders. Kofi Kingston will team up with Chavo Guerrero to take on The Brian Kendrick and The Miz. Throughout the past month or so, we’ve seen these four battle each other out for a shot at the coveted United States Championship. This past Monday on Raw we heard just how confident The Miz is not only about this match, but that he’ll be the new number one contender and take the title away from the Big Show. But with everyone trying to impress the Raw General Manager and trying to get a title shot, Miz’s path may not be as easy as he thinks. Which team will gain some momentum in the United States Title hunt?

Lately luck has not been on the side of rising star John Morrison. The Guru of Greatness has been on a downward slope ever since coming so close to winning at Unforgiven. To top it all off, this past Sunday at No Mercy, Morrison came out to save his friend Rey Mysterio only to receive a beat down of his own, specifically at the hands of Umaga and Dolph Ziggler. This Thursday, Morrison looks to turn his luck around when he faces Charlie Haas. Will Charlie Haas out wrestle Morrison and gain some momentum of his own, or will the Friday Night Delight get back on track to being a future star?

After weeks of fighting each other in singles matches, the Hart Dynasty and the two power houses Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson will finally face off in a tag team match. A few weeks ago, Mark Henry and Tony Atlas recruited Ezekiel Jackson and so far it’s worked out to their benefit. The Hart Dynasty, who was running over the competition on ECW, have lost their matches since Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson have started to team together. Can the Hart Dynasty finally bounce back, or will Henry and Jackson pick up a huge victory in their first tag team match together? Tune into WWE Superstars this Thursday on WGN America to find out.

ECW
October 6, 2009
Trenton, NJ

WWE Signature Video is shown

A recap video from No Mercy is shown. We see clips from the ECW Championship match between Christian and Paul Burchill. We see Christian grab Burchill from behind and go for the Killswitch, but Burchill gets free and pushes Christian. Burchill runs at Christian and connects with the Twisted Sister. The cover, 1…2…Christian kicks out. Burchill can’t believe it and makes sure with the referee that it was only two. The video ends with Paul Burchill holding the ECW Championship high with his sister Katie Lea next to him.

ECW Opening Video is shown as “Don’t Question My Heart” by Saliva plays

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Mathews: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to ECW on SyFy. We are just two days removed from No Mercy and what a pay per view that was.

Striker: That’s right Josh. At No Mercy so many incredible things happened, but the big story for the Land Of Extreme is that we have a new, that’s right, a new ECW Champion and his name is “The Ripper” Paul Burchill.

Mathews: Burchill and Christian both put on a tremendous performance at No Mercy, but unfortunately for Christian it just seemed to be Paul Burchill’s night.

Striker: How will Paul Burchill’s reign over ECW change the landscape of the Land Of Extreme? We’re going to find out tonight.

Tommy Dreamer’s music plays and the crowd cheers as Dreamer makes his way to the ring.

Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring the ECW General Manager, Tommy Dreamer.

Mathews: And here comes our ECW General Manager now. Matt, I’m sure you’ve heard this as well. All week there has been a rumor buzzing around in the locker room about Tommy Dreamer announcing the new number one contender here tonight.

Striker: I did here that. Not only was it in the locker room but it was on WWE.com. But either way Tommy Dreamer coming out here can only mean something big is going to happen. Let’s see what the ECW Original and our General Manger has to say.

Dreamer gets in the ring and grabs a microphone.

Dreamer: I’m sure by now all of you know that things have changed here on ECW. Just two days ago at No Mercy, we crowned a new ECW Champion. It was a tremendous match and I’m looking forward to seeing what this man can do at the top of the show. So without further ado, please let me introduce to you the NEW ECW Champion, Paul Burchill.

Paul Burchill’s music plays and the crowd boos as Burchill and his sister Katie Lea make their way down to the ring.

Striker: And here he comes now. The new ECW Champion, The Ripper, along with his lovely and seductive sister Katie Lea Burchill.

Mathews: Paul Burchill looks like he’s on top of the world. Matt, since you mentioned Katie Lea we have to bring up the fact that at No Mercy Katie Lea caused a slight distraction when she went up on the apron just as Christian was about to pull the Killswitch.

Striker: Are you trying to say Katie Lea was the reason why Burchill won the title? Katie Lea never touched Christian. Paul Burchill won that title all on his own.

The Burchills get into the ring and grab microphones. Dreamer shakes Burchill’s hand.

Dreamer: Paul, let me be the first to officially congratulate you on becoming the new ECW Champion.

Burchill: Thank you Tommy. All month long I told you people how I was going to beat Christian and become the ECW Champion. But you all just looked the other way and ignored me. None of you believed in me.

Burchill hold the ECW Title up high as the crowd boos heavily.

Burchill: Well guess who was wrong. I dethroned your precious little champion Christian. And now you all have a champion that you can be proud off. Someone as talented and sophisticated as myself. And all of you better get used to it because this title is going to be with me for a very long time.

Katie Lea: No one can stop my brother The Ripper. He exemplifies excellence, something all you primitive people aren’t used to. You should all be applauding my brother Paul for bringing class not only to the ECW Championship but to ECW each and every week.

Dreamer: Well Katie, I believe we all remember you causing a distraction during this Sunday’s title match.

Katie Lea: Are you implying that I cost Christian the match? That’s absurd. I went up on the apron because I was concerned for my brother’s health. I saw his throat whip against the top rope as Christian tossed him on it. I never touched Christian nor did I even yell at him. Christian just got distracted by my beauty, but who can blame him? Don’t try to make excuses for Christian. Paul won the title fairly on his own and you and all of these fans know it whether they want to admit it or not.

Burchill: And I appreciate my sister’s concern for me. You know that the referee didn’t even check on me? I could’ve been severely injured and not only would I not be the ECW Champion right now but I wouldn’t even be on ECW, which is a huge blow to this show. But I’m fine thankfully and I stand here holding this ECW Championship proudly. And I just want to send a message to the locker room. No one on the entire ECW roster can beat me for this title so you might as well save yourself a beating and not even try.

Dreamer: Since you brought up people challenging you for the ECW Title, I figure now is the right time to make my announcement. At Cyber Sunday, you Paul Burchill will defend your ECW Championship. But here’s the catch. At Cyber Sunday, every match has to have a stipulation that the fans can vote on. So I’ve decided to make it so the fans will vote on who your opponent will be at Cyber Sunday. Tonight, there will be three matches to determine who will be the three choices for the fans to vote on. They will be Vladimir Kozlov verses Finlay, Jack Swagger verses Evan Bourne, and Zack Ryder verses the former champion Christian. Good luck to all of the men in their qualifying matches. And Paul, good luck at Cyber Sunday.

Burchill looks furious as Dreamer leaves the ring. Katie Lea tries to calm Burchill down.

Mathews: Wow what an announcement. But Paul Burchill doesn’t seem too happy about the decision Dreamer has made.

Striker: Can you blame him? I would be angry too. He’s not going to know his opponent until that night when the final votes are revealed. This is not what the new ECW Champion expected to hear tonight.

Mathews: Well whether Burchill likes it or not, at Cyber Sunday there will be three choices for you the fans to vote on to face Burchill for the ECW Title. Tonight all three choices will be determined in qualifying matches. Who will move onto Cyber Sunday? Stick around to find out. There’s more ECW when we return here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Vladimir Kozlov’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: The following contest is a Cyber Sunday qualifying match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Moscow, weighing in at 302 pounds, Vladimir Kozlov.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW as we get ready for our first Cyber Sunday qualifying match. The Moscow Mauler making his way to the ring who has been demanding a shot at the ECW Title for some time now.

Striker: And his dominance proves that he should get a title shot. Last week on ECW we saw Kozlov take out Evan Bourne during his match with Zack Ryder and demanded a rematch with him. Kozlov got his rematch last week on WWE Superstars and defeated Bourne, showing us just how impressive this man is.

Mathews: And don’t forget Matt, last week on ECW we saw Kozlov backstage barging into Dreamer’s office demanding a rematch with Evan Bourne. Gregory Helms who just came back from a year long neck injury got in Kozlov’s face but paid the price as Kozlov delivered a straight kick to the chest of Helms, which sent him over the couch and landing on his neck, almost reinjuring him. Kozlov is very dangerous right now.

Finlay’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: And his opponent, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, weighing in at 233 pounds, Finlay.

Striker: As you said Kozlov is very dangerous, but who better to teach Kozlov a lesson than the man who loves to fight, the brute and tough Irishman, Finlay.

Mathews: You may be right. If anyone can take Kozlov down a peg, it would be Finlay. And Finlay is rolling on some momentum too after he defeated David Hart Smith last week on ECW.

Striker: Can Finlay tame the dangerous beast that is Vladimir Kozlov, or will Finlay be another victim of Kozlov’s? We’re going to find out now who will be the first person to qualify to be a choice in the ECW Title match at Cyber Sunday.

Qualifying Match for Option in ECW Championship Match
Vladimir Kozlov vs. Finlay

-The match is mostly controlled by Kozlov, but Finlay does get some offense in. Towards the end, Kozlov is in control. Kozlov grabs Finlay and starts to deliver headbutts to his chest. Kozlov then lifts Finlay up on his shoulder. Kozlov drops, driving is shoulder into the gut of Finlay. The cover, 1…2…Finlay kicks out. Kozlov gets up and starts to stomp on Finlay. Kozlov lifts Finlay up and starts to deliver forearms to the face of Finlay. Finlay ends up ducking a forearm and delivers one of his own. Kozlov swings at Finlay’s head, but Finlay ducks and kicks Kozlov in the gut. Finlay goes to irish whip Kozlov into the corner, but Kozlov stands his ground and ends up tossing Finlay into the opposite corner. Finlay hits the turnbuckle hard and stumbles out. Kozlov goes up to Finlay and delivers a stiff kick right to the chest of Finlay, which sends Finlay flying backwards into the corner and he hits his head on the middle turnbuckle as he falls backward. Kozlov chokes Finlay out with his foot in the corner. Kozlov then lifts Finlay up and lays him across the top rope in the corner. Kozlov then delivers a few headbutts to the side of Finlay until the referee tells Kozlov to back off. Kozlov backs up and delivers a kick right up in the gut of Finlay, which knocks Finlay off of the ropes and to the mat. The cover, 1…2…Finlay gets his foot on the ropes. Kozlov stares at the referee as he starts to get frustrated. Kozlov lifts Finlay up and pushes him back into the corner. Kozlov then follows up with shoulder thrusts in the corner to the gut of Finlay. Kozlov pulls Finlay out of the corner right into a belly to belly overhead suplex. The cover, 1…2…Finlay kicks out. Kozlov lifts Finlay up and looks to go for another belly to belly suplex, but Finlay gets out of the grip after smacking both sides of Kozlov’s head simultaneously. Finlay then delivers a few haymaker punches to Kozlov and kicks his legs. Kozlov pushes Finlay off, but Finlay comes back at Kozlov and connects with a low dropkick to Kozlov’s leg, which takes him down to a knee. Finlay goes off the ropes and connects with a dropkick to the side of Kozlov’s head, which takes him down to the mat. The cover, 1…2…Kozlov kicks out with authority. Finlay gets up and kicks Kozlov in the face as he tries to get up. Finlay runs off the ropes and connects with a seated senton drop across Kozlov’s chest. The cover, 1…2…Kozlov kicks out. As Kozlov gets up, Finlay keeps punching and kicking him. Kozlov gets to a knee and then shoves Finlay off of him and accidentally into the referee. The referee is down seemingly a bit hurt. Kozlov goes for a clothesline to Finlay, but Finlay ducks it and lifts Kozlov on his shoulder. Finlay looks to go for the Celtic Cross, but Kozlov elbows his way out of it. Finlay stumbles down over to a corner and grabs his shillelagh. Finlay turns around and goes to hit Kozlov with the shillelagh, but Kozlov connects first with a huge headbutt to Finlay’s chest. Kozlov lifts Finlay up and delivers the Iron Curtain as the referee gets back up. The cover, 1…2…3 Kozlov wins.
Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

Chimel: Here is your winner, Vladimir Kozlov.

Mathews: And Kozlov becomes the first person to qualify for Cyber Sunday. Kozlov will be one of three choices for you the fans to vote on for the ECW Championship match against Paul Burchill.

Striker: Did you see Kozlov in that match? He dominated Finlay. If I was Paul Burchill, I would hope that this man doesn’t get voted in at Cyber Sunday.

Kozlov gets out of the ring and starts walking up the ramp backwards. Just then, Gregory Helms comes out and attacks Kozlov from behind with a chair.

Mathews: It’s Gregory Helms! And he just hit Kozlov hard in the back with that steel chair.

Helms hits Kozlov a few more times with the chair. Helms yells at Kozlov “That was payback!” and walks up the ramp.

Striker: Looks like Helms was getting back at Kozlov for last week where Kozlov almost reinjured him. Helms definitely made his point clear to Kozlov, but was that really a smart idea to attack the Moscow Mauler?

Mathews: Maybe not, but Helms isn’t going to sit around and let someone take advantage of him no matter how big or small. Helms sat around too long with a neck injury to almost get reinjured and tossed aside. Helms made an impact here tonight. How will Kozlov react to this? Well still to come tonight are the two other Cyber Sunday qualifying matches. Who will join Kozlov as a choice for the ECW Championship match? Stay tuned to find out when we return with more ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see Gregory Helms walking back from the ring when a reporter catches up to him.

Reporter: Gregory. Before the commercial break we saw you attack Vladimir Kozlov with a steel chair. Why did you do this and do you think it was a smart decision?

Helms: I’m assuming you saw what happened last week between Kozlov and myself. All I was trying to do was calm down Kozlov and protect our General Manager. And what do I get for that? This crazed monster catches me off guard with a kick to the chest that sent me over a couch and I landed on my surgically repaired neck. I’ve could’ve been reinjured and out for yet another year. Well I wasn’t going to take that sitting down. I don’t care who he is or how big and dominant he is. I came to ECW for opportunity and to be the best. And to be the best on ECW, I’m going to have to take out the Moscow Mauler one way or another. Kozlov may have the strength advantage but I have the intelligence advantage. I’m going to work my way up to becoming the ECW Champion and no one, including Kozlov is going to get in the way of my dream. I’m back and ready to go. Now, it’s time!

Helms then walks away.

Mathews: Wow strong words by Gregory Helms. Helms getting some revenge against Vladimir Kozlov just like we thought. I’m interested to see how this turns out.

Striker: Well at least Helms does realize that he’s taking on a huge challenge in Kozlov, but like he said he needs to beat everyone in order to get to the top of ECW. I personally would not want to be Helms right now though with Kozlov after him.

Jack Swagger’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: The following contest is a Cyber Sunday qualifying match scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Perry, Oklahoma, weighing in at 263 pounds, The All American American, Jack Swagger.

Mathews: And here comes the All American American as he get ready for our second Cyber Sunday qualifying match of the night. Last week on ECW in our main event we saw Swagger take on who is now the new ECW Champion, Paul Burchill. Unfortunately for Swagger, he lost to Burchill.

Striker: Those two put on a tremendous match last week and I’m sure Swagger would love another shot at Burchill to prove that he can beat him. And now that Swagger is the ECW Champion, there is an extra incentive to want to fight Burchill again.

Mathews: Well if Swagger is able to pull off the win here tonight and gets voted in by the fans at Cyber Sunday, he will get his chance to not only try to make up for his loss last week against Burchill but also win the ECW Championship yet again.

Swagger gets in the ring and grabs a microphone.

Swagger: I know I have a match now but I needed to address something first. Last week on ECW, I faced Paul Burchill and lost. Well Burchill you got lucky and it looks like your luck streak carried onto No Mercy. But after I win here tonight against the circus act Evan Bourne and I get voted in at Cyber Sunday by all of my fans, I will not only show you that I am the better wrestler but I will take what should be mine, which is the ECW Championship. So let’s get this match started with so I can win already and look towards Cyber Sunday.

Evan Bourne’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: And his opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 183 pounds, Evan Bourne.

Mathews: Someone’s very cocky, but I’m sure Evan Bourne doesn’t see it Swagger’s way. This isn’t going to be a push over match and Swagger should know that.

Striker: Swagger is completely focused and concentrated on his mission of becoming ECW Champion again. Swagger is not going to let Evan Bourne get in the way of his goal.

Mathews: Well Swagger is going to have to completely ground Evan Bourne in order to win this. Once Evan “Air” Bourne starts to fly, that’s when Swagger is going to have to really watch out.

Bourne gets in the ring and grabs a microphone as the crowd chants “Evan!”

Bourne: So you think this is going to be that easy of a task for you Swagger? You just see me as a minor stepping stone, don’t you?

Swagger: Here’s the deal. I’m a two time, TWO TIME All American American! And you….you’re nothing but a glorified acrobat. You’re a circus act Evan. That’s all you’re good for. You fly around the ring and do your fancy little moves to impress the crowd. Well you know what’s not impressive? You’re accomplishments in the WWE, or should I say lack of accomplishments. I’m a former ECW Champion. What have you done? The only thing you’ve accomplished is the award for most amount of unnecessary flips in a match. I am a wrestler. I have talent unlike you. And that’s why I know that tonight I’m going to beat you.

The crowd boos Swagger heavily as Bourne hangs his head.

Bourne: You know what…maybe you’re right. I mean you’re an all class wrestler. A former ECW Champion. And I’ve never won a title before in the WWE. But you want to know something?

Bourne looks up and gets right in Swagger’s face.

Bourne: None of that matters. Anyone can beat anyone at anytime. And I’m sick and tired of you calling me a circus act and saying I have no talent. Just because we have different wrestling styles doesn’t make you any better than me. I’m sick of you constantly running your mouth about how great you are. You think you can beat me so easily? Then why don’t you shut your mouth for once and prove it.

Bourne drops his microphone. Swagger and Bourne stare each other down as the referee tries to separate the two of them.

Striker: Wow things just got heated up here. The referee is going to have a tough time controlling this one.

Mathews: Who is going to move onto Cyber Sunday as a choice in the ECW Championship match? We’ll find out when we return to ECW on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Qualifying Match for Option in ECW Championship Match
Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne

-The match is a back and forth contest. Towards the end, Swagger is in control. Swagger lifts Bourne up and scoop slams Bourne right onto his knee for a backbreaker. The cover, 1…2…Bourne kicks out. Swagger tosses Bourne into a corner. Swagger charges at Bourne, but Bourne puts his boot up and connects with Swagger’s face. Bourne goes to the second rope and jumps off onto Swagger, but Swagger catches Bourne and follows up with a belly to belly overhead throw. Swagger picks Bourne up and starts to deliver knee shots to the gut of Bourne. Swagger then takes Bourne and rams him into the corner shoulder first. Bourne stumbles out of the corner and Swagger grabs him and performs a huge release german suplex. The cover, 1…2…Bourne kicks out. Swagger stomps on Bourne and then picks him up. Swagger tosses him into a corner. Swagger runs at Bourne in the corner and connects with a clothesline which sends Bourne to the floor. Swagger backs up, runs and jumps off the second rope in the corner, and goes for a corner slingshot splash on Bourne, but Bourne is able to but his knees up to counter. Both men slowly get to a vertical base towards the center of the ring. Swagger swings at Bourne, but Bourne ducks. Swagger swings again, but Bourne ducks again. Bourne then connects with a few side kicks to Swagger. Swagger then grabs Bourne and knees him in the gut. Swagger tosses Bourne off the ropes. As Bourne comes back, Swagger tosses him up in the air, but Bourne is able to connect with a dropkick to Swagger’s face. Bourne then connects with a huge kick to Swagger’s chest and then connects with an enzuigiri, which takes Swagger down to his knees. Bourne then runs at Swagger and delivers a hurricanrana then slams Swagger’s face into the mat. Bourne then sets up and connects with a standing moonsault. The cover, 1…2…Swagger kicks out. Bourne kicks Swagger repeatedly as Swagger gets up. Bourne goes to toss Swagger, but Swagger reverses and tosses Bourne into a corner, but Bourne is able to run up the corner, spring off, and come back at Swagger with his double knee takedown. The cover, 1…2…Swagger kicks out. Bourne waits for Swagger to get up and goes for a spinning back kick, but Swagger ducks. Swagger then grabs Bourne from behind and goes for a back suplex, but Bourne is able to flip over. Bourne then dropkicks Swagger in the back, which sends him bouncing off the ropes. As Swagger comes back off the ropes, Bourne connects with a spinning kick to Swagger’s head. Bourne then goes to the top rope. Bourne sets up possibly going for the Air Bourne, but Swagger is able to get up and tosses Bourne off the ropes and to the mat. Swagger then grabs Bourne and sets him up in a gutwrench position. Swagger goes for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but mid-move Bourne reverses it with a hurricanrana and hooks the legs of Swagger for the pin. The cover, 1…2…3 Bourne wins.
Winner: Evan Bourne

Chimel: Here is your winner, Evan Bourne.

Mathews: What a win by Evan Bourne. Bourne just proved to Swagger that he isn’t a joke and is more than just flashy moves. Bourne showed Swagger that he is a great wrestler and shouldn’t be overlooked by anyone. Swagger is eating his words now.

Striker: Jack Swagger is not going to be happy about this. I think Swagger is going to need to take Bourne more seriously now. So much for Swagger’s goal of becoming ECW Champion at Cyber Sunday.

Mathews: Yeah but Evan Bourne’s goal of become ECW Champion is still possible. Evan Bourne now joins Vladimir Kozlov as a choice for the ECW Championship match at Cyber Sunday in three weeks. Just one more spot open for Cyber Sunday. Who will join them?

Backstage we see a report interviewing Zack Ryder.

Reporter: I’m here right now with my guest at this time Zack Ryder. Now Zack, tonight you will face the former ECW Champion Christian in a Cyber Sunday qualifying match. What are your thoughts heading into this huge match?

Ryder: My thoughts? Obviously bro you don’t remember what happened two weeks ago on ECW otherwise you wouldn’t ask me just a stupid question. So let me refresh your memory. Two weeks ago here on ECW, I pinned Christian, 1…2…3. I proved that I’m better than Christian and I can beat him whenever I want to. Tonight will just be a repeat of two weeks ago. I’m going to beat Christian all the way back to his crappy home in Canada. Then I’m going to go to Cyber Sunday. As for the votes, I’m not sweating it. I’ve got the women vote locked because…well just look at me. And after the fans see just how great I am tonight, they will all join in with my bros from Long Island and vote for me. And when that happens, I will be walking out of Cyber Sunday as the new ECW Champion. Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!

*-----Commercial Break------*

In the background “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise plays.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW. Right now you’re listening to the official theme song for Cyber Sunday. It’s “Inside Of Me” by Dead By Sunrise. It’s off their new debut album, available now.

Striker: And at Cyber Sunday, every match has a stipulation that you the fans get to vote on. As announced earlier tonight by our General Manager, in three weeks at Cyber Sunday the ECW Championship will be on the line. The new champion Paul Burchill will defend his title for the first time, but against who?

Mathews: That’s up to you the fans. You will choose between three choices for who will face Burchill in the title match. So far after qualifying tonight, Vladimir Kozlov and Evan Bourne are two of the three choices. The third choice we will find out in our main event later tonight, when Zack Ryder and Christian go one-on-one. Who will you the fans choose to take on Burchill in three weeks at Cyber Sunday?

Striker: Well that’s in three weeks, but we’ve just been informed of a huge match that will take place next week here on ECW. It’s the in-ring return of Gregory Helms as he faces off against Vladimir Kozlov. After Kozlov attacked Helms last week and almost reinjuring him and earlier tonight where Helms attack Kozlov with a steel chair, General Manager Tommy Dreamer has decided to have these two settle their dispute in the ring. That is going to be a great match. I’m looking forward to that.

Mathews: Speaking of matches to look forward to, this week on WWE Superstars we will see The Hart Dynasty take on the team of Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson. After weeks on confrontations and on-on-one matches, these two teams will finally face off in tag team competition. Can The Hart Dynasty finally defeat them, or will Henry and Jackson keep rolling with their momentum?

Striker: And right now we have a reporter backstage with Henry and Jackson. Let’s see what they have to say.

Backstage we see a reporter with Mark Henry, Ezekiel Jackson, and Tony Atlas.

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m standing here with Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson, along with their manager Tony Atlas. Now guys, a few weeks ago you announced your alliance with each other. Since then we’ve seen the two of you beat The Hart Dynasty on a few occasions in singles competition. But this week on WWE Superstars, you two face off against The Hart Dynasty in tag team action. Now not only is it the first time you two are facing The Hart Dynasty, but it’s also the first time you two are teaming up. How do you guys feel going into this match this Thursday?

Henry: Right now we’re feeling pretty good about this match. Yes it is the first time Big Zeke and I will be teaming up, and yes The Hart Dynasty does have the edge since they’ve been teaming together for awhile, but right now we have all of the momentum. We’ve had Kidd and Smith’s number for a few weeks now. And this Thursday on WWE Superstars it will be no different.

Atlas: Do you know why we picked Ezekiel Jackson? We picked him because he reminded us of ourselves. Zeke is a strong, powerful, dominating machine just like Mark Henry is and just like I was. The past few weeks since we’ve joined together we’ve been training Jackson to make him even better than he already is. Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson are on the same page and will take out The Hart Dynasty yet again. Before you said that we formed an alliance. Well that’s exactly what this is. We are the World’s Strongest Alliance. No one is going to get in our way and The Hart Dynasty is going to learn that first hand this Thursday on WWE Superstars.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break we see a recap video showing clips of Zack Ryder verses Christian from ECW two weeks ago. We see Christian stalk Ryder and setup for the Killswitch, but Ryder pushes him off and into the referee, which takes the referee out. Ryder grabs Christian quickly and tried for the Zack Attack but Christian reverses it and goes right into the Killswitch. Christian goes for the cover but the referee is still out. Christian tries to revive the referee but he has no luck. Just then Katie Lea comes down and is on the apron by the corner yelling at Christian. Christian goes over to the ropes and tries to grab Katie Lea but she jumps down from the apron before he can. Paul Burchill is then on the apron right to the side of Christian but Christian doesn't see him. Burchill grabs Christian and hits the Twisted Sister on the ropes on Christian. Christian stumbles after the move on the ropes and Ryder grabs him. Ryder connects with the Zack Attack as Katie Lea revives the referee. The cover, 1...2...3 Ryder wins. The video ends with Ryder standing on the turnbuckle doing the LI taunt.

Zack Ryder’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: The following contest is a Cyber Sunday qualifying match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 214 pounds, Zack Ryder.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW and it’s now time for our main event of the evening. The cocky Long Island pretty boy, Zack Ryder makes his way to the ring for the final Cyber Sunday qualifying match.

Striker: Earlier tonight we heard from Zack Ryder and he said he’s not worried about this match at all since he already beat Christian two weeks ago on ECW. Ryder knows what it takes to beat Christian and tonight he’s ready to bring his A-game once again.

Mathews: Ryder did beat Christian two weeks ago, but as we saw in the recap video it wasn’t without help from the ECW Champion Paul Burchill and his sister Katie Lea. But either way, can Ryder repeat history and move one step closer to the ECW Title match at Cyber Sunday?

Christian’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: And his opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, Christian.

Striker: Personally I think Ryder does have the edge in this match, especially mentally. Think about it. Two days ago at No Mercy Christian lost his ECW Championship. And now he faces the man who beat him two weeks ago in the main event.

Mathews: That’s a good point Matt and you may be right. We don’t know how Christian is mentally and psychologically now after losing the ECW Title. But mental distractions or not, Christian is going to need to forget about No Mercy, forget about two weeks ago, and focus solely on beating Zack Ryder right here right now.

Striker: That’s easier said than done. Losing that ECW Championship must be eating away at Christian right nw. But that could also serve as fuel and motivation for Christian to win here tonight. There’s no telling. We’re just going to have to watch and find out. Who will become the third choice for the ECW Championship match at Cyber Sunday? We’re about to find out.

Christian lifts Ryder up and starts punching him. Christian runs off the ropes and at Ryder, but Ryder counters with a drop toe hold and mat slam combo. Ryder then grabs Christian’s head and locks in a headlock. Ryder starts wrenching away, but Christian starts to get to his feet as the crowd cheers for him. Christian tries to elbow his way out of the hold, but Ryder quickly knees Christian in the gut. Ryder runs off the ropes and at Christian, but Christian reverses with a back body drop to Ryder. Both men get to their feet and start to exchange punches. Christian ducks one of Ryder’s wild punches, grabs Ryder’s head from behind and delivers a reverse DDT to Ryder. The cover, 1…2…Ryder kicks out. Christian lifts Ryder up and goes to toss him into a corner, but Ryder reverse it and tosses Christian into the corner. Ryder charges at Christian, but Christian slips through the top and middle ropes and connects with a pendulum kick to Ryder. Christian then goes to the top rope, jumps off, and connects with a missile dropkick. The cover, 1…2…Ryder kicks out. Christian gets up and starts to clap as he stalks Ryder. Christian grabs Ryder form behind and goes for the Killswitch, but Ryder pushes Christian off of him and rolls to the outside to regroup. Christian then runs at the ropes, springboards off the second rope, and connects with a crossbody dive to Ryder on the outside. Christian gets up and grabs Ryder. Christian slams Ryder’s head on the announce table and then tosses him back into the ring. Christian gets back in the ring, but Ryder quick connects with a running dropkick to the side of Christian’s head. The cover, 1…2…Christian gets his foot on the ropes. Ryder then lifts Christian up and drops him on the top rope. Ryder runs off the ropes as Christian stumbles backward holding his throat. Christian turns around and Ryder connects with the Rough Ryder leg lariat. The cover, 1…2…Christian kicks out. Ryder can’t believe this and starts to argue with the referee. Ryder then goes over to Christian and picks him up. Ryder sets up for the Zack Attack, but Christian is able to get out of it. Christian slips behind Ryder and goes for the Killswitch, but Ryder gets out of the grip and knees Christian in the side. Ryder grabs Christian and goes for the Zack Attack again, but Christian reverses it into a reverse DDT on his knee. Christian lifts Ryder up from his knee, sets up, and connects with the Killswitch. The cover, 1…2…3 Christian wins.
Winner: Christian

Chimel: Here is your winner, Christian.

Mathews: And Christian pulls off a huge and much needed victory against Zack Ryder. After his loss two days ago, Christian is back on track towards regaining his ECW Championship.

Striker: With this win, Christian joins Vladimir Kozlov and Evan Bourne as the three choices at Cyber Sunday. One of those three men will be chosen by our fans to face Paul Burchill for the ECW Championship.

Mathews: Who will be chosen to receive an ECW Title match in three week? You the fans have the power to determine that. Just log onto WWE.com and cast your votes.

Striker: Will Vladimir Kozlov or Evan Bourne get the ECW Title shot they’ve been waiting for, or will Christian get a chance to redeem himself at Cyber Sunday? Anything can happen at Cyber Sunday.

Mathews: That’s all for ECW this week. Thank you for joining us tonight here on SyFy. Don’t forget to tune in next week on ECW for Gregory Helms’s return match when he faces the “Moscow Mauler” Vladimir Kozlov. From Trenton, New Jersey, goodnight everyone.

WWE Superstars
October 8, 2009

WWE Signature Video is shown

WWE Superstars Opening Video is shown as “Invincible” by Adelitas Way plays

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Grisham: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to WWE Superstars here on WGN America. We are just four days removed from No Mercy and what a night we have in stored for you.

JR: That’s right Todd. Tonight our main event comes from ECW. It’s going to be The Hart Dynasty’s Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith taking on Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson, the World’s Strongest Alliance. What a match that is going to be.

Grisham: It’s the first time ever that we’re going to see The World Strongest Alliance team up. Which team can pull out the victory tonight?

JR: Well that’s later on tonight. Right now we have a match from Smackdown in stored for you. Let’s get things started.

John Morrison’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 219 pounds, John Morrison.

Grisham: And we kick things off here on WWE Superstars with the Guru of Greatness, John Morrison. Morrison looking to get back into the swing of things after what happened at No Mercy this Sunday.

JR: That’s right. Now this past Sunday John Morrison was not in a match, but he was involved in a vicious attack. After the World Title match, Morrison came out to help his friend Rey Mysterio, but Morrison paid the price.

Grisham: That he did. Morrison was attacked by the newest members of The Revolution. First Umaga came out and took Morriosn out with a Samoan Spike and then Dolph Ziggler did even more damage to Morrison as he Zig Zagged Morrison to the mat. Morrison and Rey were out cold as The Revolution stood tall over them.

Charlie Haas’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: And his opponent, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 249 pounds, Charlie Haas.

JR: The Revolution has certainly become a very powerful group as of No Mercy, but we’ll talk more about that tomorrow on Smackdown. Right now Charlie Haas makes his way to the ring. I’m sure Haas would love to take advantage of Morrison most likely not being a hundred percent after Sunday.

Grisham: This is the perfect time for Haas to make an impact and get a huge win over John Morrison, but Morrison also looking to bounce back from that attack with a win here tonight.

JR: These are two incredibly gifted athletes. This should be a great contest. Who will get the win and the much needed momentum? We’re about to find out in our opening contest here on WWE Superstars.

John Morrison vs. Charlie Haas
-The match is back and forth for most of the match. Towards the end, Morrison is in control. Morrison connects with a few forearm shots to Haas and then tosses him off the ropes. As Haas comes back, Morrison connects with a tilt-a-whirl slam on Haas. The cover, 1…2…Haas kicks out. Morrison sits Haas up and kicks him in the back. Morrison then runs off the ropes and connects with a knee shot to the face of Haas. The cover, 1…2…Haas kicks out. Morrison lifts Haas up and tosses him into a corner. Morrison runs at Haas and delivers a dropkick to him in the corner. Haas stumbles out as Morrison sets up by the ropes. Morrison springboards off and goes for the Flying Chuck, but Haas ducks it. Haas then grabs Morrison and connects with a gutwrench suplex. The cover, 1…2…Morrison kicks out. Haas mounts Morrison and starts to punch away at him. Haas gets up and starts to stomp on Morrison. Haas lifts Morrison up from behind and clubs Morrison in the back. Haas then dropkicks Morrison into a corner. Morrison stumbles backwards out of the corner. Haas runs at Morrison and hits him with a clothesline right to the back of his legs. Haas then starts to stomp on the legs of Morrison and locks in a leg lock on one of Morrison’s legs. Morrison crawls and gets to the ropes. Haas lifts Morrison up and delivers a northern lights suplex to him with the bridge. The cover, 1…2…Morrison kicks out. Morrison grabs Haas and hits him with his backbreaker into a neckbreaker combination. Morrison taunts and then hits the standing shooting star press. The cover, 1…2…Haas kicks out. Morrison lifts Haas up and sets up for the Moonlight Drive, but Haas is able to reverse it into a kneeling fireman’s carry. Haas grabs Morrison from behind and tries to go for a German suplex, but Morrison blocks it and rolls Haas up. The cover, 1…2…Haas kicks out. Haas goes to clothesline Morrison, but Morrison ducks it, runs over to the ropes, springboards off, and connects with the Flying Chuck. Morrison then drags Haas over by the corner. Morrison goes for Starship Pain, but Haas gets up and stops him in the middle of the move, keeping Morrison on the top rope. Haas goes to the second rope and grabs Morrison from behind. Haas goes for a German suplex off the top rope, but Morrison holds onto the top rope and Haas crashes to the ground. Morrison gets back up and hits Starship Pain on Haas. The cover, 1…2…3 Morrison wins.
Winner: John Morrison

Justin: Here is your winner, John Morrison.

Grisham: And Morrison gets a much needed win here. What is next for John Morrison?

JR: Right now I’m sure Morrison is focused on getting his revenge on The Revolution and taking them down with the other Smackdown superstars. But I’m sure Morrison is also keeping his eyes set on some gold.

Grisham: I’m sure he is, but as you said before I’m sure his primary mission right now, along with CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, and the Undertaker, is to take out The Revolution before The Revolution takes them out and takes over Smackdown.

JR: What will happen tomorrow night on Smackdown after that huge night for The Revolution? Well still to come tonight, finally we will see The World’s Strongest Alliance in their first tag team match take on The Hart Dynasty. Don’t go anywhere. More WWE Superstars when we return here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see a reporter interviewing Kofi Kingston and Chavo Guerrero.

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time, Chavo Guerrero and Kofi Kingston. Chavo, Kofi, in just a few moments the two of you will team up against The Brian Kendrick and The Miz. The two of you have had your problems with them in the past and now the four of you have been battling it out for a shot at the United States Title. What are your thoughts on the match tonight and on Big Show being the new United States Champion?

Chavo: First off we’d like to wish MVP a speedy recovery. Get well soon man. What the Big Show did to MVP was unnecessary, but he did it to send a message not only to us but to everyone in the locker room. Are our chances of becoming the United States Champion lower now? Yes they are. Big Show is a monster, there is no getting around that. But all of us in the United States Title division are hungry competitors. In that ring, anything can happen. It’ll be a tough challenge for the next contender, but sooner or later someone will dethrone the Big Show. Tonight’s tag team match is all about moving closer to that title shot. Realistically, which ever team wins tonight is closer to that number one contendership, so this match is really important to us.

Kofi: Not only that, but we what to shut those two cocky guys up, especially The Miz. Ever since you came to Raw Miz, you haven’t shut your mouth. About two months ago when you eliminated me in a battle royal, you acted like you were on top of he world and that I was inferior to you. Well I showed you up by beating you in a one-on-one match. But I guess that’s not enough because every week you come out and brag about how great you are. On Raw this past Monday, we had to hear your nonsense about how you can easily beat the Big Show and that no one deserves a title shot more than you do. Plus we also got to see you get rejected yet again by Maryse. If she rejected you a few months ago, why would she want you know? I personally want to take out The Miz tonight and kick him so hard in the mouth that we never have to hear his annoying, egotistical rants again. Tonight for Kendrick and Miz, there will be Trouble in Paradise. Boom, Boom, Boom! Let’s go Chavo.

Kofi and Chavo walk off to go to the ring.

Cole: It’s Chavo Guerrero and Kofi Kingston against The Miz and The Brian Kendrick next here on WWE Superstars.

*-----Commercial Break------*

The Brian Kendrick’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Venice, California, weighing in at 184 pounds, The Brian Kendrick.

Cole: Welcome back to WWE Superstars. It’s now time for the Raw portion of the show as we get ready for tag team action. Everyone in this tag team match is looking for a shot at the United States Title, including this man, The Brian Kendrick.

King: Kendrick is such a cocky and eccentric young man as you can tell from his dancing right now. But Kendrick is a tremendous competitor. He’s won titles in the past so he’s no stranger to gold.

Cole: That’s right King. Kendrick is actually one half of the tag team to have held the WWE Tag Team Titles on Smackdown the longest. This man knows what it takes to be a champion and is looking forward towards moving on up in his singles career.

The Miz’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: His tag team partner, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 231 pounds, The Miz.

King: Well if you thought Kendrick was cocky, this man makes Kendrick seem modest. The Miz is so egotistical and arrogant. I’m surprised his ego fits in the ring.

Cole: Well this past Monday on Raw was a perfect example of just how cocky Miz can be. In his interview Miz said that he doesn’t sweat the Big Show being the new United States Champion and that if he got a shot, he would definitely beat him.

King: Not only that, but we saw Miz hitting on Maryse. Maryse was obviously not into The Miz and completely dissed The Miz, but Miz is so full of himself that he just kept saying that she wants him because he’s so awesome.

Chavo Guerrero’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: Their opponents, first, from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 215 pounds, Chavo Guerrero.

Cole: Well Miz may think Big Show isn’t a threat, but at least this man has more sense than that. Before the commercial break we heard Chavo talk about the Big Show being the new United States Champion.

King: Yeah Chavo said that Big Show is obviously a threat because of his size, strength, and dominance. Chavo recognized this and said that it will be a challenge, but he’s still going to give his all to become the United States Champion.

Cole: Chavo did make a good point at the end too. He said that this match is very important for the United States Title division. He’s right. The superstars on the winning team could move one step closer to a United States Title shot.

Kofi Kingston’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his partner, from Ghana, West Africa, weighing in at 218 pounds, Kofi Kingston.

King: Well while Chavo talked all about the Big Show and the United States Title, Kofi focused on someone else and that someone else was The Miz. Kofi was very impactful with what he said about The Miz.

Cole: Well the past few months we’ve seen Kofi and Miz have their back and forths with each other. Kofi seems to have really had it with Miz’s arrogance and self-worshiping all the time and I can’t blame him.

King: Kofi said that he wanted to kick Miz right in the mouth tonight so he can finally shut him up. I think I speak for all of the WWE when I say I really hope Kofi follows up on that.

Chavo Guerrero & Kofi Kingston vs. The Brian Kendrick & The Miz
-The match is a back and forth tag team match. Towards the end, Kendrick and Chavo are the two legal men, with Kendrick in control. Kendrick delivers a snapmare to Chavo and kicks him right in the back. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Kendrick stomps on Chavo repeatedly and then does a doubles stomp on his chest. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Kendrick measures up Chavo and then delivers a running dropkick right to the side of Chavo’s head. Kendrick drags Chavo over to his corner and tags in Miz. Miz comes in and starts slapping away at Chavo’s head and taunts him and the crowd. Miz lifts Chavo up and starts to punch him. Chavo tries to fight back, but Miz delivers a knee to the gut of Chavo. Miz tosses Chavo into the corner, runs at him, and delivers his patented corner clothesline. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Miz lifts Chavo up and hits a shoulder jawbreaker and follows up with a swinging neckbreaker. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Miz stalks Chavo as Chavo slowly gets up. Miz runs at Chavo for a running knee lift, but Chavo moves just in time. Miz turns around and gets a dropkick to the face by Chavo. Chavo crawls towards his corner, but Miz grabs Chavo’s leg. Chavo gets up and is able to kick Miz in the back of the head with his other leg. Chavo and Miz both crawl towards their corners. Miz tags in Kendrick as Chavo tags in Kofi. Both men get into the ring. Kofi connects with a flying forearm attack to Kendrick. Kendrick gets up and runs right into a double hand back chop by Kofi. Kofi then grabs Kendrick and delivers a Russian leg sweep to him. Kofi gets hyped up, runs off the ropes, taunts, and then connects with the Boom Drop. The cover, 1…2…Kendrick kicks out. Kofi gets up and starts to taunt as he stalks Kendrick for possibly Trouble In Paradise. Miz then comes in and attacks Kofi from behind. Miz punches away at Kofi until Chavo comes in and dropkicks Miz right out of the ring. Chavo turns around right into Kendrick connecting with a back heel kick. Kendrick grabs Chavo and goes for The Kendrick, but Chavo is able to reverse it and dumps Kendrick over the top rope and to the outside by the entrance ramp. Kendrick slowly gets up as Chavo runs off the ropes and flips over the top rope onto Kendrick. Chavo gets up but Miz grabs Chavo quickly from behind and tosses him right into the steel steps. Miz wipes his hands clean and starts screaming at the crowd “That’s why I’m awesome!” Just then, Kofi runs and dives through the ropes onto Miz. Kofi gets right back on Miz and starts to punch away at him repeatedly. The referee yells at them to get back in the ring, but he can’t seem to get control. The referee decides to throw the match out and call it a no contest.
Winners: No Contest

King: And it looks like the referee has ruled this match a no contest. Can’t say that I blame him. He’s lost all control of this match.

Kofi continues to punch at Miz.

Cole: And Kofi is still going. Kofi’s gone crazy all of a sudden. I guess Kofi was serious earlier when he said he wanted to shut The Miz up once and for all.

Kofi lifts Miz up and tosses him into the steel siding of the barricade by the ramp.

King: And Miz hit that steel siding hard. Kofi really wants to punish Miz. I can’t say that I’m not enjoying this though. Miz really does need a reality check, no pun intended, and that’s exactly what Kofi is doing here.

Just then, William Regal runs down the ramp and attacks Kofi from behind.

Cole: What’s this!? William Regal? What’s he doing out here? And why is he attacking Kofi?

Regal measure up Kofi and delivers a Knee Trembler right to Kofi.

Cole: Oh my god! A devastating Knee Trembler right to Kofi’s head. That just knocked Kofi completely out.

Regal walks backward up the ramp looking proudly at the fallen Kofi.

King: And look at Regal. He looks so proud of his actions.

Cole: But why did Regal do that?

King: Probably to make an impact. Regal may want in on the United States Title hunt. Or for some reason he could be helping The Miz.

Cole: I guess we’re just going to have to wait to hear an explanation for Regal. I still can’t believe that. Well anyway, still to come tonight is our main event from ECW. The World’s Strongest Alliance fights in their debut tag team match against The Hart Dynasty. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage a reporter is with The Hart Dynasty.

Reporter: Please welcome my guests at this time, Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, and Natalya, The Hart Dynasty. Now guys, the past few weeks Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson have gotten the better of the two of you in singles competition. Tonight you finally face the two of them in tag team action. What are your thoughts going into this match?

Natalya takes the microphone.

Natalya: Tyson and David are not worried in the least bit about this match. These past few weeks, Henry and Jackson got lucky. But even so those were are singles matches. They’ve never teamed before, ever. Whereas The Hart Dynasty is a well oiled and experienced tag team. You see, The Hart Dynasty knows how to get it done in the ring as a tag team. They know every tag team trick in the book. On ECW two nights ago, they said that they have strength and momentum. Well that means nothing tonight. You two don’t know the first thing about tag team wrestling, which is why The Hart Dynasty is going to walk all over you tonight. You people think that “The World’s Strongest Alliance” has been impressive? Just wait and see what The Hart Dynasty can do.

Kidd: And after we win here tonight, we’re going to be gunning for the Tag Team Titles. We heard this past Monday on Raw that the Tag Team Champions are finally coming to the other shows. But that is not a good thing for them because whenever we are given the opportunity, no matter who are the champions at the time, The Hart Dynasty will win the Tag Team Titles and show everyone, just like we’re going to show Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson tonight, why we are the greatest tag team today.

The Hart Dynasty leaves to walk to the ring.

Mathews: It’s the tag team match we’ve been waiting for. The Hart Dynasty faces off against the debuting World’s Strongest Alliance when we return to WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

The Hart Dynasty’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring, being accompanied by Natalya, at a combined weight of 459 pounds, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith, The Hart Dynasty.

Mathews: Welcome back to WWE Superstars for our main event. The Hart Dynasty makes their way to the ring after we heard from them before the commercial break. They don’t seem too nervous about this match Matt.

Striker: No they don’t and you know what with the points they made they shouldn’t be. Yes Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson are strong but The Hart Dynasty has much more experience as a team, which is going to be a major factor in this tag team match.

Mathews: That is true. Kidd and Smith do have the chemistry part down. Also The Hart Dynasty said that they are happy, as they should be, that the Tag Team Champions are finally coming to the other brands and that once they get a shot at those titles, they will undoubtedly be the new Tag Team Champions.

Mark Henry’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: And their opponents, being accompanied by Tony Atlas, at a combined weight of 697 pounds, Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson, The World’s Strongest Alliance.

Striker: Well as good of a tag team as The Hart Dynasty is, before they can look onto the Tag Team Titles they’re going to need to focus on their match here against the appropriately named World’s Strongest Alliance.

Mathews: A few weeks ago Mark Henry and Tony Atlas met with Ezekiel Jackson after being impressed by his debut on ECW. They soon announced their alliance and have had The Hart Dynasty’s number since.

Striker: In singles competition. You can’t forget that. The Hart Dynasty are tag team specialists. This is their element. But I am curious to see how well Henry and Jackson work together. Finally the tag team match we’ve been anticipating for weeks is about to happen now.

The World’s Strongest Alliance vs. The Hart Dynasty
-The match is a back and forth tag team match with multiple tag-ins. Towards the end, Henry and Smith are the two legal men with Smith in control. Smith punches away at Henry and then hits him with a suplex. The cover, 1…2…Henry kicks out. Smith stomps on Henry’s legs and drags him over to his corner. Smith tags in Kidd. Smith holds Henry’s left leg in place as Kidd jumps off the top rope and delivers a knee drop to the leg. Kidd grabs Henry’s left leg and starts kicking away at the back of the leg. Kidd gets Henry’s left leg in a leg lock. While in the move, Kidd tags Smith back in. Smith comes in and drops an elbow on Henry’s chest. Smith then grabs Henry’s left leg and drops and elbow on that. Smith tags Kidd back in. Kidd goes to the top rope and Smith launches Kidd right onto Henry for a body splash. The cover, 1…2…Henry kicks out. Kidd gets right up and starts stomping away at Henry. Kidd goes right after the left leg again, but Henry is able to kick Kidd off with his other leg. Henry slowly gets up as Kidd comes right back at him with kicks to the back and chest. Henry pushes Kidd off the ropes, but Kidd comes back and dropkicks Henry’s left leg, taking him down to a knee. Kidd then follows up with a spinning kick right to the head of Henry, which takes him down. The cover, 1…2…Henry kicks out. Kidd gets right back up and starts going after Henry’s left leg again. Kidd goes for what looks like could be a figure four leg lock, but Henry kicks Kidd off with so much force that Kidd goes shoulder first into the corner. Henry starts crawling over to his corner, but Kidd stops him with a running leg drop to the back of the head. Kidd keeps kicking Henry, but Henry is able to get to his feet. Kidd goes to kick Henry, but Henry catches Kidd’s foot and flips him over, making Kidd land chest first on the mat. Henry and Kidd both start to make their way over to their respective corners. Henry tags in Jackson as Kidd tags in Smith. Smith and Jackson both run into the ring. Jackson explodes with a huge clothesline on Smith. Smith gets back up and Jackson slams him to the ground. Jackson lifts Smith up and goes to irish whip him, but Smith counters and tosses Jackson off the ropes. Jackson comes back with a huge jumping shoulder block to Smith, putting all of his weight behind it. Jackson grabs Smith in a bear hug and then turns it into a backbreaker. The cover, 1…2…Smith kicks out. Jackson stalks Smith as he gets up. Jackson grabs Smith and sets up for the Uranage, but Kidd comes in and connects with a low dropkick to the back of Jackson’s legs. Kidd then runs over to Henry in the corner and delivers a baseball slide which knocks him off the apron. Kidd turns around into Jackson grabbing him, but Smith comes from behind and hits Jackson with a Saito Suplex. Smith tells Kidd to go out to the apron as Smith stalks Jackson. Smith hits Jackson with an inverted atomic drop and holds him as he sets up for the Hart Attack. Kidd is about to springboard off for the double team move, but Henry pulls Kidd down and to the floor on the outside. Henry continues to beat up Kidd on the outside. Smith lets go of Jackson and turns around confused, wondering where Kidd went. Smith turns around but gets caught by Jackson who delivers the Uranage to Smith. The cover, 1…2…3 Jackson and Henry win the match.
Winners: The World’s Strongest Alliance

Chimel: Here are your winners, Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson, The World’s Strongest Alliance.

Mathews: And in their first match together as a team, Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson are victorious over The Hart Dynasty.

Striker: Wow. I’m…I’m shocked. I have to admit, I didn’t think they would’ve worked this well together let alone beat The Hart Dynasty.

Mathews: The World’s Strongest Alliance showing that they do have chemistry and trust me they will be a force to be reckoned with in the tag team division.

Striker: Well at the end there, David Hart Smith got confused and disoriented after he realized Tyson Kidd didn’t do his part of the Hart Attack. Smith took his eye off the ball and paid for it with a massive Uranage by Ezekiel Jackson. I think The Hart Dynasty took Henry and Jackson a little too lightly here. I don’t think they were expecting much chemistry between them.

Mathews: You may be right Matt, but the bottom line is that The World’s Strongest Alliance has beaten The Hart Dynasty yet again. The Hart Dynasty wanted a Tag Team Title shot, but I think after this, The World’s Strongest Alliance deserves a title shot.

Striker: I can tell you right now The Hart Dynasty is not giving up. This is far from over and The Hart Dynasty is going to want another shot at The World’s Strongest Alliance. And now that they’ve got a feeling for them, I think they will win the next time they face off.

Mathews: Well that’s your opinion Matt. I do agree though that this is not over, but can The Hart Dynasty bounce back from all of these loses to The World’s Strongest Alliance? Thank you for joining us for WWE Superstars here on WGN America. Goodnight.
