Default Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future

Raw 9/14/09
Raw Opening Video is shown
A recap video is shown for Unforgiven. It shows clips from the WWE Championship Scramble Match. It then shows Orton throwing Cena over the top rope and then turning around and stalking Big Show. Orton hits the RKO on Big Show and gets the pin with 5 seconds left. Orton turns around and sees Kennedy in the STF. The video rewinds and shows Cena holding onto the ropes when Orton tossed him over, gets back in, and locks in the STF on Kennedy. It goes back to Orton turning around and seeing Kennedy tap out to the STF. Cena holds the title high as Orton looks completely shocked. Orton then measures up Kennedy and punts him in the head. The video ends with Orton angrily standing over Kennedy’s lifeless body.
Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Raw. We are just a day removed from the pay per view Unforgiven and what a night it was.
King: That’s right Michael. As we just saw in the recap video, John Cena is the new WWE Champion.
Cole: Yes he is, but we also saw in that video Randy Orton punting an already injured Mr. Kennedy in the head out of frustration. Later tonight hopefully we will find out more on Mr. Kennedy’s condition.
King: But as for tonight, we will see in our main event, the new WWE Champion John Cena teaming with Batista to take on Matt Hardy and the former champion Randy Orton.
Cole: Last night, Hardy got DQed on purpose against Batista and then left his mark with a Twist of Fate on the arena floor. Now will Batista react here tonight?

Randy Orton’s music plays and the crowd boos
Lillian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring, the former WWE Champion, Randy Orton.

King: Look at Orton. He looks like he’s about to snap any moment.
Cole: Well last night at Unforgiven, Orton was convinced, and so were we, that at five seconds left after he got the pin on the Big Show that the match was over. But we all didn’t take notice to Cena locking in the STF on Kennedy, and obviously Kennedy tapping out at the last three seconds angered and frustrated Orton.
King: Orton is very unstable. We saw him take out Mr. Kennedy last night. I wonder what he’s going to do now.

Orton walks around the ring and over to the announce section. He walks up to Lillian Garcia and rips the microphone from her hands. Orton then gets up in the face of Lillian.

Orton: Former WWE Champion? Don’t you EVER announce me as a former champion again! Cause if you do….it’ll be the last thing you ever announce.

Orton then walks up the steps slowly into the ring

Orton: Last night was nothing but a travesty. I had that match won. Five seconds left on the clock, that match and my WWE Title were all wrapped up for me. And then I turn around to see that nothing Mr. Kennedy tap out with three seconds left. Three seconds! He couldn’t hold on for three more seconds. Now everyone’s saying maybe Kennedy shouldn’t have been in that match due to his injuries he suffered last week on Raw. He disobeyed the doctor’s orders and paid the price. Well I think…no I know that Kennedy shouldn’t have been in that match because he isn’t good enough. He didn’t deserve to be in that match. Injury or not, he’s wasn’t good enough to hang with a top star like myself. Kennedy being the person in the STF is the only reason why John Cena won. If it was anyone else that deserved to be in a title match, they would have held on the last three seconds. So I did what I felt needed to be done to make sure this never happened again. I punted Kennedy right in his empty little skull. And I don’t need a doctor to tell you that the injury prone, overrated piece of crap is out…for good.

Just then John Cena’s music plays and the crowd cheers. Cena comes down to the ring and gets a microphone.

Orton: What the hell are you doing out here?
Cena: Well Randy, I’m out here for two reasons. One is to announce that The Champ Is Here! And the other reason is to confront you about what you’ve been saying about last night. Now I’m not out here to talk about Kennedy or your anger issues. I’m here to tell you that I won that match, not because of, as you put it, Kennedy’s “lack of skills,” but because I was the better and smarter man last night. When you threw me over the top rope, I hung on. I rushed into the ring and applied the STF onto an injured Kennedy. If you should be blaming anyone it should be yourself. You should have been more aware of your surroundings. That’s what the Scramble Match is all about.
Orton: Of course Cena you have to be the “good guy” and rationalize every situation. But the fact of the matter is that if you were in my position you would have done the exact same thing during that match. Admit it, you were just as shocked when Kennedy tapped out so quickly. I saw that look of disbelief on your face as well. Kennedy is weak and doesn’t belong in a main event. But now he’s out of the picture and I want my rematch.
Cena: That’s great Randy. I’m sure you’re the only one that wants a shot at my WWE Championship.
Orton: Shut Up! You think this is funny Cena? Because I can assure you this is no laughing matter. I’m using my rematch clause and I’ve already talked to Vickie so it’s official. At No Mercy, I’m getting back what I never should have lost. I’m getting back MY WWE Championship! And as far as tonight’s tag team match goes…well let’s just say you better pray that you make it to No Mercy.

Orton drops the microphone and walks out of the ring and up the ramp slowly.

King: Wow, Orton is pissed. I would not want to get on his bad side tonight.
Cole: We’ll see what happens with these two in our main event tonight. But anyway, the match is set. It’s Orton verses Cena for the WWE Championship at No Mercy.

Backstage a reporter is with Priceless

Reporter: I am here with Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes, Priceless, from the Legacy. Now guys, in just a few moments you will compete for the Tag Team Titles when you face the champions Carlito and Primo, the Colons. What are your thoughts on this match?
DiBiase: Last week we proved to everyone why Legacy is the most dominate faction in the WWE today. We won our tag team match, hospitalized Mr. Kennedy, and took out Triple H, leaving Randy Orton the last man standing. I think all of that warrants us a Tag Team Title shot.
Rhodes: We’ve been Tag Team Champions before. And now that we’ve grown as a team, there is no doubt in our minds that tonight Priceless walks out the new Tag Team Champions. And after No Mercy, all of Legacy will have gold.

Priceless walk off to the ring

Cole: It’s Priceless verses the Colons for the Tag Team Championship up next here on Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Legacy’s music plays and the crowd boos
Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Tag Team Championship. Introducing first, the challengers, at a combined weight of 454 pounds, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless.

Cole: Welcome back to Raw and we are getting ready for a Tag Team Title match as the challengers make their way to the ring.
King: Rhodes and DiBiase look ready. After their dominance last week, I don’t think anyone can doubt them right now.
Cole: I think they are rightfully so the #1 contenders, but we’ll see if they have enough to win the titles tonight.

The Colon’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 438 pounds, the Tag Team Champions, Carlito and Primo, The Colons.

King: And here come the Tag Team Champions. The Colons look fired up and ready to go.
Cole: There’s no question that the Colons are great, that’s why they’re the champions. But they’re going to have to step their game up this week if they want to stop the momentum of Priceless and keep their titles.

Tag Team Championship
The Colons vs. Priceless

-The match is back and forth the whole time. At a point in the match, Priceless gets control and isolates Primo. Towards the end of the match, Rhodes is the legal man against Primo. Rhodes stomps away on primo while yelling at him. Rhodes throws Primo into the corner chest first with force. As Primo stumbles out of the corner, Rhodes hits a running swinging neckbreaker. Rhodes then goes to the top rope slowly and goes for a moonsault on Primo. Primo moves out of the way and Rhodes crashes to the canvas. Both men crawl to their corners and tag in their partners. Carlito explodes out of the corner and takes DiBiase down with multiple clotheslines. Carilto goes to toss DiBiase, but DiBiase reverses it and throws Carlito off the ropes. Carlito springboards off the ropes and hits DiBiase with a back elbow strike. Carlito measures DiBiase up and hits him with a running knee lift into a clothesline. Carlito goes for the cover, 1…2…DiBiase kicks out. Carlito then stalks for the Back Stabber but Rhodes runs into the ring and distracts Carlito. Primo rushes in the ring and starts punching Rhodes over to the ropes by Rhodes’s corner. Primo steps back and goes for a cross body, but Rhodes ducks and Primo goes over the top rope and to the floor on the outside. Carlito stalks DiBiase again for the Back Stabber and goes for it, but Rhodes runs over and grabs DiBiase’s arms, preventing him from falling back into the Back Stabber. Rhodes goes to the outside to prevent Primo from getting back in, while DiBiase lifts Carlito up and hits him with Dream Street. The cover, 1…2…3 DiBiase wins it for himself and Rhodes.
Winners: Priceless

Lillian: Here are your winners, and the new Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless.

Cole: What a match that was. The Colons put up a good fight but Priceless was just the better team tonight.
King: Priceless has been on a roll. First their dominance last week and now this week they win the Tag Team Championship. What’s next?
Cole: I don’t know, but hopefully their fellow Legacy member and leader Randy Orton can pick his career back up. And Orton will get a chance at that tonight in our main event. It’ll be Randy Orton teaming with Matt Hardy to take on Batista and the new WWE Champion John Cena. All of that and more on Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Mickie James’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: The following diva’s contest is scheduled for one for. Making her way to the ring, from Richmond, Virginia, Mickie James.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw and we’re getting ready for diva competition.
King: My favorite type of competition. And here’s Mickie James.
Cole: Last night at Unforgiven, Mickie fell just short of winning the Diva’s Championship from Maryse. She hope to get things back on track here tonight.

Rosa Mendes’s music plays and the crowd boos
Lillian: And her opponent, being accompanied by Beth Phoenix, from San Mateo, California, Rosa Mendes.

Cole: And here’s the Rosa Mendes along with her mentor Beth Phoneix.
King: Beth has done a great job mentoring Rosa. A win here for Rosa could be big.
Cole: Well we all know the history between Mickie and Beth so I’m sure Beth would love nothing more than to have her protégé beat one of her long time rivals.

Mickie James vs. Rosa Mendes
-The match starts out all Mickie as she does her usual moves to Rosa. Half way during the match, Beth distracts Mickie and allows Rosa to get the advantage on Mickie. Rosa kicks away at Mickie and performs many face-paced moves on Mickie like a hurricanrana. Rosa goes for a DDT at a point, but Mickie is able to get out of it by back body dropping Rosa. Mickie comes back at Rosa with a few clotheslines. Mickie goes to Irish whip Rosa, but Rosa reverses it. Mickie comes back with a Lou Thesz press on Rosa and starts to punch away at Rosa. Mickie lifts Rosa up and hits her with an arm-trap neckbreaker. Mickie lifts Rosa up, looks over to Beth and taunts, and hits Rosa with the Mickie-DT. The cover, 1…2…3 Mickie wins.
Winner: Mickie James

Lillian: Here is your winner, Mickie James.

King: What a win by Mickie James and she’s now back on track.
Cole: No doubt with that win Mickie is working her way back to another shot at the Diva’s Champion Maryse.

Backstage we see Vickie Guerrero in here office when Batista comes in

Vickie: Batista. What can I do for you?
Batista: Vickie, I know you saw Unforgiven last night, and I know you saw what happened with my match against Matt Hardy. He got himself intentionally disqualified because he knew he couldn’t beat me. And then afterwards, he attacks me with a chair and hits a Twist of Fate on me onto the floor. What I want is a rematch against him. And I want it tonight!
Vickie: Now Batista, I understand your frustration, but you already have a match tonight. You’re in the tag team main event, but so will Matt Hardy so you’ll be able to blow off some steam there.
Batista: That’s not good enough for me. I need him one-on-one. I want to tear him apart myself.
Vickie: I understand that but it won’t happen tonight. But what I can do I make a match for our next pay per view No Mercy. So at No Mercy it’ll be you Batista verses Matt Hardy one-on-one. And so what happened at Unforgiven doesn’t happen again, this match will be No Disqualification.
Batista: Alright. I can live with that. No Mercy marks the end of Matt Hardy.

Batista walks out smiling

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see the new Tag Team Champions Priceless go up to Randy Orton

Orton: Congratulations guys. You deserve those titles. Between last week and now winning the Tag Team Titles I can proudly say that I’m glad I started Legacy with you guys. This shows the dominance and skills of Legacy.
Rhodes: Thank you Randy. And in a few weeks at No Mercy, there is no question that you will regain your WWE Championship and Legacy will all have gold.
Orton: That’s right. I have to go now and get ready for my match tonight. You two start celebrating your big win. No one’s going to want to mess with Legacy now.

Orton walks away and priceless starts walking. Priceless stops when they see Triple H.

DiBiase: Well, well, well. If it isn’t Triple H. The Game. The King of Kings. The man….with no gold around his waist, unlike us. What’s the matter Hunter? You upset that we have gold and you don’t? Or maybe it’s because you finally realized that we’re better than you.
Rhodes: No you know what it is Ted? He’s upset still at last week. You know, when we came out and kicked his ass.
DiBiase: Now that you say that, that does make sense. You afraid we might beat you down again?
Triple H: You guys should be real proud of yourselves. Last week you proved that two guys can beat me up…attacking me from behind…and after I just went through a grueling triple threat match. But all of that’s beside the point.
Rhodes: Look just shut your mouth and stop making excuses. You’re just jealous that you’re not apart of the most dominant faction in WWE history.
DiBiase: Legacy is better than any team you’ve ever been apart of. We’re ten times better than Evolution and D-X combined. The only good thing to come out of either of those groups was Randy Orton, but he didn’t need you guys. Evolution was just holding him back which is why he left.
Triple H: Actually we kicked him out, but I guess that doesn’t matter. You two lackeys may be happy now, but soon enough I’m going to get back at you for your attack from last week on Raw. You two have no idea what you just walked into. It’s Game On!

Triple H walks to the ring as Priceless looks on with a stern look on their faces.

Cole: The Game is in action next when we return to Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Santino Marella’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Calabria, Italy, weighing in at 227 pounds, Santino Marella.

Cole: Welcome back to Raw and we are seeing Santino Marella coming down, ready for action.
King: Santino is a former Intercontinental Champion, but do you think he’s ready for this challenge?
Cole: Hey no one thought he would win the title that night, so anything is possible with the… unique Santino.

Triple H’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: And his opponent, from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 255 pounds, Triple H.

King: Well here comes the Game and he seems fired up and ready to go.
Cole: Before the break we saw Triple H being taunted by the new Tag Team Champion Priceless. They reminded him of the fact that they beat him down last week on Raw and how they are apart of the greatest faction in WWE history.
King: Triple H can’t wait to get his revenge on Priceless and it will be good.

Triple H vs. Santino Marella
-The match starts with Santino shuffling his feet, putting his fist up like a boxer, and starts yelling at Triple H. Santino goes to punch Triple H a few times, but Triple H either ducks or moves out of the way. Santino then just rushes Triple H but gets caught with a Double-A Spin Buster. Santino gets up and is caught with a high knee to the face by Triple H. Triple H then grabs Santino, sets up and hits the Pedigree. The cover, 1…2…3 Triple H wins.
Winner: Triple H

Lillian: Here is your winner, Triple H.

Cole: Well, a quick match to say the least.
King: Triple H just showed Priceless what will happen when the time comes for his revenge.

As Triple H taunts to the crowd, celebrating his win, Priceless comes down to the ring and attacks Triple H.

Cole: What is this? Another sneak attack by DiBiase and Rhodes!

Priceless stomps and punches down Triple H repeatedly. They then pick him up. Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes on Triple H. DiBiase then gets him up and hits Dream Street. They then ask for a microphone.

DiBiase: You want to threaten us? Do you see what happens to you when you do that? You’re not messing with some “lackeys” and you like to put it. You’re messing with the future of this company and the new Tag Team Champions. We are not only part of the greatest faction in WWE history, but we are the greatest tag team today.
Rhodes: And we want to put every tag team in the WWE on notice. Anyone who steps up to try and take our titles or take us out will fall at the hands of Priceless. And Triple H… be careful of what you say to us. Because like the last two weeks, it will be Game Over for you!

King: Wow what a statement by Priceless.
Cole: Yet another attack to Triple H and this time it wasn’t for Orton. It was a direct message from them to Triple H.
King: And not only that but Priceless put every other tag team in the WWE on notice.
Cole: Who’s going to be able to stop this duo?

Backstage we see Vickie Guerrero in her office when Matt Hardy barges in furiously.

Vickie: Matt, what’s….
Matt: How could you do that!
Vickie: I’m guessing you’re talking about the match I made for No Mercy.
Matt: Yeah of course I am. A No DQ match? With Batista? You can’t do that!
Vickie: I can and I did. You brought this upon yourself when you got yourself intentionally disqualified last night at Unforgiven. The decision is final and there’s nothing you can do to change that.
Matt: Fine. That’s the way it’s going to be? Then I won’t feel bad when I take out Batista once and for all. Unforgiven was just a preview to what I’m going to do to Batista at No Mercy. I’m going to make sure that Batista never main events again. And when he’s out, I can finally take my rightful place at the top. The Black Cloud will reign over Raw soon enough.

Matt Hardy walks off angrily

*-----Commercial Break------*

Kofi Kingston’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the guest commentator for the following contest, Kofi Kingston.

Cole: Well King, we’re being joined here by the Jamaican superstar, Kofi Kingston.
King: This is going to be great. Kofi how are you?
Kingston: I’m great. Thanks for having me out here.
Cole: So Kofi, why are you out here for this match?
Kingston: I’m out here to scout some talent and watch this amazing match.

Chavo Guerrero’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 215 pounds, Chavo Guerrero.

Cole: Here comes Chavo Guerrero, the nephew of our General Manager.
King: Chavo told me backstage that he’s ready to get things rolling again for himself and hopes to compete for the U.S. Title soon.
Kingston: Chavo is a great competitor. He comes from the famous Guerrero family. I would love to face him one day.

The Brian Kendrick’s music plays and the crowd boos
Lillian: And his opponent, from Venice, California, weighing in at 184 pounds, The Brian Kendrick.

Cole: And here’s the cocky The Brian Kendrick.
King: He demands that “The” in front of his name. What do you think of him Kofi?
Kingston: Kendrick may be arrogant and annoying but he’s great in that ring and you can’t look past his accomplishments. This is someone all U.S. Title contenders need to look out for, which is why I’m out here now.

The Miz’s music plays and the crowd boos

Cole: The Miz? What’s he doing out here?

The Miz makes his way over to the announce table and joins them

King: Miz, to what do we owe this pleasant surprise?
Miz: Don’t try to butter me up King. I saw Kofi out here and I figured I’d save the fans from awful commentary by coming out and joining you guys.
Kingston: Well Miz talking is all you’re good for. And I proved that a few weeks ago on WWE Superstars when I beat you 1, 2, 3 in that ring.
Miz: Bask in your glory now Kofi because that’s the only time you will ever beat me. I’m going to be the United States Champion soon and no one will stand in my way. Not you, not these two jokers in the ring, not even the champion MVP.

Chavo Guerrero vs. The Brian Kendrick
-The match is a back and forth high paced contest. Both men show their skills with multiple high flying moves and unique reversals. Towards the end, Kendrick is in control. Kendrick hits Chavo with a hurricanrana which takes Chavo to the ground. Kendrick runs full speed and hits a low dropkick to Chavo’s head as he tries to get up. The cover, 1…2…Chavo kicks out. Kendrick sits Chavo up and kicks him in the back. Kendrick slaps Chavo in the head and goes to kick him in the chest, but Chavo lays down to avoid it and catches Kendrick with a school boy. The cover, 1…2…Kendrick kicks out. They both get up at the same time. Chavo goes to grab Kendrick, but Kendrick kicks Chavo in the head and chest. Chavo stumbles backward as Kendrick springboards off onto Chavo. Kendrick goes for a springboard tornado DDT, but Chavo prevents it and back body drops Kendrick. Kendrick gets up but gets dropkicked by Chavo. Chavo tosses Kendrick off the ropes and delivers a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on Kendrick. Chavo then lifts Kendrick up and suplexs him. Chavo swings his hips and hits a second suplex. Chavo swings his hips again to go for the third suplex of the Three Amigos, but Kendrick flips over and lands on his feet. Chavo turns around right into a heel kick by Kendrick. Kendrick lifts Chavo up and goes for The Kendrick, but Chavo tosses him off, turns around to Kendrick, and hits him with a Brainbuster Suplex. Chavo then goes to the top rope and hits the Frog Splash onto Kendrick. The cover, 1…2…3 Chavo wins.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero

Lillian: Here is your winner, Chavo Guerrero

King: What a match and what a win for Chavo Guerrero.
Cole: Chavo finally getting on the winning end of things and really seemed to pick it up.
Miz: He was ok, but if I was in that match I would have beaten both of them easily.
Kingston: Is that so Miz? You think you’re better than Chavo Guerrero?
Miz: Think? I know, and I’ll prove it.

Miz gets up from commentary and goes to the ring.

Cole: Where’s Miz going?

Miz tries to sneak up on Chavo from behind, but Kofi stops him by tackling him. Kofi starts to punch and stomp on Miz until Miz rolls out of the ring. Miz and Kendrick walk up the ramp beaten while Chavo and Kofi celebrate in the ring.

Cole: Business has just picked up here.
King: Things are obviously not over between Kofi Kingston and The Miz, but now all four of these men have their sites set on the United States Championship.
Cole: And any of them could have a chance at it. The U.S. Title picture is shaping up here. Still to come tonight on Raw is our huge tag team main event. The new WWE Champion John Cena teams with Batista to take on their No Mercy opponents Randy Orton and Matt Hardy. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage a reporter is interviewing Mickie James

Reporter: I’m here with Mickie James. Now Mickie, congratulations on your win tonight over Rosa Mendes. Unfortunately last night you weren’t able to beat Maryse for the Diva’s Championship. Your thoughts.
Mickie: Last night Maryse was the better woman. There’s a reason why she’s the Diva’s Champion. But I’m back on the winning side of things tonight. And I can assure you that soon enough I’ll get another shot at Maryse and when I do, I will become the Diva’s Champi…

Just then Maryse comes in and attacks Mickie from behind with the Diva’s Title to the head. Maryse stomps on Mickie and then puts her in a camel clutch while screaming at her. Maryse shoves Mickie’s head to the ground and then gets down on the ground to her face.

Maryse: After what happened last night, you still think you can beat me? There’s no chance. You will never take my Diva’s Championship from me. Never.

King: Wow, I can’t believe what we just saw. I hope Mickie’s alright.
Cole: Hopefully Mickie James is fine after that assault by Maryse. And I’m sure we’ll see them fight off again for the Diva’s Championship soon.

In the background “Scream” by Adelitas Way is playing as the album cover shows on the screen
Cole: Well you are listening to the official theme song for No Mercy. It’s “Scream” by Adelitas Way off their new self-titled album, available now. And King, what a pay per view it’s shaping up to be already.
King: That’s right Michael. Two matches were already made for No Mercy tonight on Raw. The first one is “The Black Cloud” Matt Hardy verses “The Animal” Batista in a rematch from Unforgiven, but this time it’s a No Disqualification Match.
Cole: Last night at Unforgiven during their match, it looked like Batista had the match won, but Matt Hardy went to the outside and hit Batista with a steel chair to intentionally get disqualified. Matt Hardy kept beating Batista up and set his final message with a Twist of Fate on the arena floor. Batista was not happy about that and asked our General Manager Vickie Guerrero for a rematch. Vickie made the rematch for No Mercy and made it No DQ so Unforgiven doesn’t happen again.
King: And that’s not all. Our main event for Raw is set. It’ll be the new WWE Champion John Cena defending his newly won title against the former champion Randy Orton.
Cole: Orton feels that Cena got lucky last night at Unforgiven and the only reason he won the Scramble Match and the WWE Title was because of Mr. Kennedy. Orton used his rematch clause for No Mercy and these two will have a straight-up one-on-one match like Orton wanted. Will Orton backup his words or will Cena show Orton that his win last night was no fluke? We’ll find out on October fourth at No Mercy.

King: Speaking of Kennedy, I heard we have an update on his condition finally.
Cole: Yes we do. We’re told that Kennedy is in fact injured. He received a slight concussion from the punt and his previous injuries from the Priceless attack are now even worse because he competed in the Scramble Match when he wasn’t supposed to. As of now there is no set date on Mr. Kennedy’s return, but we will let you know when we find out.
King: Well I hope Kennedy recovers quickly.

Backstage we see MVP walking to the ring

Cole: And there’s the United States Champion on his way to the ring. The V.I.P. Lounge with MVP is up next here on Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

MVP’s music hits and the crowd cheers
Lillian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring your host of the V.I.P. Lounge, the United States Champion, MVP.

King: Are you ready for the V.I.P. Lounge Michael?
Cole: I’m ready King. I’ve been looking forward to this all night.

MVP: Welcome to the return of the V.I.P. Lounge which can only mean one thing. Big things poppin’, little things stoppin’. So sit back and enjoy the view, because the V.I.P. Lounge is for people like all of you. Tonight, I have a very special guest here on the V.I.P. Lounge. He is the seven foot tall, near five hundred pound giant, who is known as the World’s Largest Athlete. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest tonight, the Big Show.

Big Show’s music plays and the crowd boos

Cole: And here comes the World’s Largest Athlete the Big Show. He’s not too happy after losing last night.
King: I wonder what MVP is going to ask the Big Show here tonight?

MVP: Welcome Big Show to the V.I.P. Lounge. Take a seat if you’d like.

Big Show and MVP sit down

MVP: So Big Show, everyone knows that you are the world’s largest athlete. Lately you’ve been dominating everyone in your path. No one can take you down single handedly.
Big Show: That’s right, but what’s your point?
MVP: My point is that if you’re so dominate, how come you didn’t win the WWE Championship last night at Unforgiven?
Big Show: Did you even see the match last night? I dominated that match. They all had to attack me together just to take me out of the picture, and I still fought back. And the only reason I didn’t win was because Triple H had to attack me with a weapon several times just to take me out.
MVP: Is that also the reason why you were pinned by Randy Orton at the end of the match?
Big Show: You think you’re funny? Don’t forget that I beat you in the qualifying match to get into the Scramble Match. So at least I was in a WWE Title match. Have you ever even won a world title before? I’m the only man in history to have won the WWE, WCW, and ECW Championships.
MVP: That’s impressive, I can’t deny that. And no I haven’t been a world champion yet, but at least right now I can call myself a champion unlike you.

Big Show and MVP stand up and stare each other down.

Cole: Uh oh, this doesn’t look good.
King: Big Show looks angry.

MVP taunts Big Show with the U.S. Title. Big Show then smacks the U.S. Title out of MVP’s hands and goes for the Knockout Punch. MVP ducks it, grabs his U.S. Title, and hits Big Show in the head with it. Big Show falls down to a knee and MVP hits the Drive-By Kick on him. MVP gets out of the ring with his U.S. Title and taunts up the ramp. Big Show is furious and destroys the set after he gets back up.

Cole: What a turn around by MVP.
King: Just when you thought MVP was getting his jaw jacked, MVP ducks and takes out the Big Show.
Cole: But with that attack and the taunting of his U.S. Title, MVP has just awoken and angry giant. How will this play out for MVP? Well when we return, we’ll see our main event. It’s Randy Orton and Matt Hardy taking on the team of Batista and the new WWE Champion John Cena. No Mercy may come early when we return to Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Batista’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 290 pounds, Batista.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw for our main event, where we will get a preview of No mercy already.
King: Two No mercy matches involved in this tag team match. And here comes the Animal Batista.
Cole: At No Mercy Batista will face Matt Hardy in a No Disqualification Match, but right now Batista will get an early chance at getting his hands on Matt Hardy.

John Cena’s music plays and the crowd cheers
Lillian: His partner, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, John Cena.

Cole: And here’s his partner, the new WWE Champion.
King: Michael, the Champ is Here! And at No Mercy, we know that Cena will defend his newly won title against the former champion Randy Orton.
Cole: Last night, Cena shocked us all when he made Kennedy tap out with three seconds to go in the Scramble Match. Cena rightfully deserves that championship.

Matt Hardy’s music plays and the crowd boos
Lillian: And their opponents, first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 236 pounds, Matt Hardy.

Cole: The Black Cloud makes his way to the ring now.
King: Last night, Matt Hardy knew the end was near for him against Batista so he got intentionally disqualified and then beat up Batista.
Cole: Matt Hardy sent a message to Batista last night and he said that at No Mercy he will make sure Batista never main events again.

Randy Orton’s music plays and the crowd boos
Lillian: And his partner, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, Randy Orton.

Cole: And here comes the former champion down that ramp.
King: Orton is not in a pleasant mood. He blames Kennedy for him losing the Scramble Match last night. Everyone thought Orton had won it when he got that last fall but that wasn’t the case obviously.
Cole: Orton took out Kennedy with a punt last night. I wouldn’t be surprised if Orton snaps and tries to take out Cena as well.

John Cena & Batista vs. Randy Orton & Matt Hardy
-The match starts out with all four men in the ring and brawling with their No Mercy opponents. The referee finally breaks it up and gets the match under control. The match is back and forth the whole time with aggression shown by all four men. Towards the end, Hardy and Cena are the legal men with Hardy in control. Matt throws Cena into a corner and does is clothesline to the bulldog combination. Matt begins to taunts Cena and sets up for the Twist of Fate. Cena reverses it by pushing Matt off and then hitting a fisherman suplex on him. Both men crawl to their corners and tag in their partners. Batista rushes in and clotheslines Orton. Batista punches Orton and tosses him off the ropes. Orton comes back into a powerslam by Batista. Batista sits Orton up and connects with a boot to the face. Batista then lifts Orton up and hits him with a massive Spine Buster. The cover, 1…2…Matt breaks it up. Batista gets up, grabs Matt and clotheslines him out of the ring. Batista then goes over to Orton and does the thumbs down taunt. Batista sets up for the Batista Bomb, but Orton gets out of it and dropkicks Batista straight to the chest, which sends Batista flying back into his corner. Cena tags himself in and goes after Orton. Cena punches Orton and then hits him with a running shoulder block. Cena hits another shoulder block and then the Throw Back. The cover, 1…2…Matt breaks it up again. Batista comes in to attack Matt, but Matt pulls the rope down and Batista goes flying over it and to the outside. Matt looks over the ropes and taunts Batista while Cena comes form behind and tosses Matt over the ropes. Matt though lands on his feet on the outside. Cena hits the spinout powerbomb on Orton and does the “you can’t see me” taunt. Cena goes off the ropes for the 5-Knuckle Shuffle, but Matt from the outside catches Cena’s foot and trips him up. Cena stops and goes over to the ropes. Matt then delivers a jawbreaker to Cena on the ropes, which leaves Cena stunned. Cena turns around right into an RKO by Orton. The cover, 1…2…3 Orton wins it for himself and Hardy.
Winners: Randy Orton & Matt Hardy

Lillian: Here are your winners, Matt Hardy and Randy Orton

Cole: Well there’s the win Orton was looking for last night.
King: What a win by Hardy and Orton. They have the early momentum now against their No Mercy opponents.

As Matt gets his hand raised in the ring, Batista runs in after him. Matt escapes the ring and runs through the audience, but Batista follows him.

Cole: Look at this. Batista isn’t finished with Matt Hardy tonight.
King: Matt’s trying to run away, but Batista’s not letting him get away that easily.

Batista catches up to Hardy and they start to fight in the crowd to the backstage area.

Cole: And now all hell’s breaking loose between these two in the audience.
King: Batista wanted Matt Hardy and he damn sure has him now.

In the ring, Orton stalks Cena as he’s getting up slowly.

Cole: Uh oh King. Look at Orton. He’s got something in mind for Cena.

Orton goes for an RKO on Cena, but Cena throws Orton off. Cena gets Orton up and goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Priceless comes down to the ring and attacks Cena before he can pull off the move.

King: And here comes Priceless right on cue to save Orton once again just like last week on Raw.

Just then, Triple H comes running down to the ring.

Cole: Here comes the Game! And he looks ready to go.

Triple H gets in and delivers punches to both DiBiase and Rhodes. Triple H delivers a Double-A Spine Buster to DiBiase. Triple H focuses on Rhodes and starts to punch him repeatedly over to the ropes. Triple H then takes DiBiase and tosses him into Rhodes and they both go over the top rope. At the same time, Cena punches Orton repeatedly as he gets up. Cena then clothesline Orton over the top rope right by Priceless.

King: Triple H and John Cena have just cleared the ring!

Legacy walks off beaten up the ramp as Triple H and Cena stand tall in the ring, telling them to come back for more.

Cole: Legacy was just trashed out of the ring by the Game and the WWE Champion.
King: Legacy thought it was going to be a repeat of last week but boy were they wrong.
Cole: Legacy didn’t account for Triple H. They thought after the attack earlier that he wouldn’t dare show his face. Priceless needs to watch out for the Game now.
King: And it looks like even though Orton won the match, Cena has the momentum now for No Mercy.
Cole: What will happen in the weeks leading up to No Mercy? Thank you for joining us here tonight for Monday Night Raw. Goodnight.

Default Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future

I'm new to reading this thread, but it's nice to be caught up by your "recapping" paragraph that you wrote. You must work on your formatting and spacing. The show was all bunched up together, and it was a pain on my eyes to read...especially all the red. Give it some black too.

Opening: Cena was kinda in character, but Orton was fully character. By the segment I just read, I could tell that you totally rushed it. You should take your time to perfect the show man! Work on one segment at a time. Don't try to rush things and post them.

Legacy: Again, rushed. Yes, it got the point across, but still! I'm shocked to them win. Thought it was a very bad decision (booking wise) You should have had them win at No Mercy instead, just my opinion.

Vickie/Batista/...Vickie/Hardy: I thought I'd talk about them both here. Lemme talk to you about the segment with Vickie and Hardy. There was no need for this. You could've had a reporter tell Matt what had happened. This was just silly for Matt to come and say the same thing that Batista practically said. Now onto Vickie/Batista. You did what you intended to do and that was to make the match announced for No Mercy, but I'm sorry man, neither were in character. In both segments, Vickie was WAYYYYYYYYYY out of character. If you just took the time, it would be so much better!

Legacy/HHH: Legacy were in character, very proud of you for that! HHH could've used a little work, but that's just me nitpicking. I can't believe tht you had Legacy successfully attack HHH. Hopefully you have a god direction for these three...a possible HBK return maybe?

US Title picture: I like how you're adding Kendrick, Miz, and Chavo into the US title picture! Keep it up, this feud can be good. I didn't know MVP was the champ until I continued to read the show, my bad.

Diva's: Can't believe Maryse just attacked Mickie like that. That was the stupidest thing ever, she beat her last night...what the hell does she need to attack her for? She won, there was absolutely no reason to do that.

VIP Lounge: The actual talking was excellent, but there wasn't enough of it. Stop fucking rushing, bro!

Main Event: Sick! Surprised that the heels won, but it's all good! Do I smell a handicap main event for next week? Maybe an 8 man tag team match?

Overall, I may have found many many many problems with this show, it wasn't a bad show. All around, this was a solid show, and you can seriously progress if you TOOK YOUR TIME! And you tried to write IN CHARACTER! Don't rush things man, and you'll be fine! Good luck with this! Thanks for the review, btw, I really appreciated it!

ECW Preview:

Just 48 hours removed from Unforgiven, we’ll see the fallout from the huge ECW Championship Scramble Match. After countless falls during the match, Christian was able to gain the final fall to retain his ECW Championship. This week on ECW, General Manager Tommy Dreamer will have an announcement involving the opponent for Christian’s ECW Title at our next pay per view No Mercy. What’s next for Captain Charisma?

Along with that, we will see the new dominate force Ezekiel Jackson in action this week. Last week, Big Zeke made his ECW debut. We saw a glimpse of what the big man can do and he already looks impressive. How will Jackson do in the Land of Extreme?

And also this week on ECW we will see the Hart Dynasty’s David Hart Smith take on the brute Irishman Finlay. Last week on ECW, Finlay lost to Smith’s partner Tyson Kidd. Will Finlay get back at the Hart Dynasty with a win over DH Smith, or will the Hart Dynasty continue to dominate Finlay? All of this and more this week on ECW on SyFy.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WWE Superstars Preview:

This week on WWE Superstars we will have three great matches for you. From Smackdown we will see Cryme Tyme try to work back up in the tag team division when they face the newly formed team of Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang. How well will Yang and Jesse do as a new team against a team that has worked together for years?

From ECW, we will see the Hart Dynasty’s Tyson Kidd take on the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry. Lately Henry hasn’t done so well and has a loss streak hanging over him. With the clear size and strength advantage will Henry turn things around? Or will Tyson Kidd out-smart Henry and show him why he graduated from the Hart Family Dungeon?

And from Raw comes our main event. It will be a non-titled match between the United States Champion MVP verses The Miz. On Raw this past Monday night, Miz ran his mouth at ringside about how he’s better than the whole U.S. Title division, including the champion MVP, and that he deserves the next shot at the U.S. Title. Well Miz will get his chance to back his words up when he faces the champion one-on-one. Will MVP shut the mouth of The Miz, or will Miz back up his words? All of this and more on WWE Superstars on WGN America.

ECW 9/15/09

WWE Signature Video is shown

A recap video from Unforgiven is shown. It shows the ECW Championship Scramble Match. It shows clips from the match. It cuts to Bourne hitting Burchill with the flying knees and gets the cover with 25 seconds left. It then shows Christian grabbing Bourne quickly and hitting him with the Killswitch. Christian gets the cover and is the current champion with 15 seconds left. Burchill then comes in and hits Christian with the Twisted Sister. Burchill goes for the cover but Swagger breaks it up. It shows Swagger and Burchill struggling for a cover until time runs out. Christian is announced the winner and it shows Christian standing tall with his ECW Championship.

ECW Opening Video is then shown

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Mathews: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to ECW. We are just two days removed from Unforgiven and what a pay per view it was.

Striker: That’s right. Three Scramble Matches we saw and all of them exceeded our expectations.

Mathews: As for tonight, we have been told that General Manager Tommy Dreamer has an announcement involving the ECW Championship match at our next pay per view No Mercy.

Striker: I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.

Christian’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the ECW Champion, Christian.

Mathews: Captain Charisma makes his way to the ring and he’s still holding that ECW Title belt after the Scramble Match on Sunday.

Striker: As we saw in the recap video, it was a back and forth battle with every man in the match getting at least one fall. Christian got a fall with fifteen seconds left and it managed to hold up.

Christian gets in the ring and taunts to the crowd with his ECW Championship. Christian then asks for a microphone.

Christian: This past Sunday was the pay per view Unforgiven, in which every world title was defended in a Scramble Match. In the weeks leading up to that match all I was told was that it’s the most unpredictable match in WWE history, that I had a one in five chance at retaining my title, and that I was very likely to lose my championship. Sunday came and past and yet I stand before you STILL ECW Champion!

The crowd goes wild as Christian holds up his ECW Title

Christian: I conquered the Scramble Match and now I’m ready for my next challenge. I’ve heard backstage that General Manager Tommy Dreamer has an announcement to make about No Mercy and my ECW Ti….

Just then Jack Swagger’s music plays and the crowd boos

Mathews: Matt, here comes the All American American. What do you think he wants?

Striker: Probably to put his name into the hat for the next ECW Title shot.

Mathews: Swagger a former ECW Champion. Let’s see what he has to say to the man who took that title from him several months ago.

Swagger enters the ring and grabs a microphone as Christian looks at him with a confused look on his face

Swagger: Do you really see winning a Scramble Match as an accomplishment? That’s not a wrestling match. That’s just complete luck and chaos in the ring. You stick anyone in that match and they could’ve had a good chance at winning it. Hell, Evan Bourne almost won. Do you know how bad that would’ve been? The belt’s probably bigger than that joke of a wrestler. I’m a wrestler. I’m a two time, two time All American. I can beat every single competitor that was in the Scramble Match easily in a straight-up one-on-one wrestling match….including you. In fact, if it wasn’t for Paul Burchill I probably would’ve won.

Just then Paul Burchill’s music plays and the crowd boos

Striker: I think Paul Burchill doesn’t agree with that last statement made by Jack Swagger.

Mathews: At Unforgiven, Paul Burchill in fact had the pin over Christian it seemed until Jack Swagger broke up the pin.

Striker: And in the final seconds of the match, the two fought with each other for a pin over any of the downed opponents, but time was not on their side.

Burchill enters the ring, gets a microphone, and stares directly at Swagger

Burchill: Let me see if I heard you correctly in the back. Did you say that I stopped you from winning? Because from what I recall I had the pin on Christian until you, Swagger, pulled me off. I should be ECW Champion right now, not you Christian. I proved that I can knock you out for a pin and I want....no, I demand a shot at the ECW Title. I'm the rightful #1 contender. You know it, Swagger knows it, the fans know it...

Just then Evan Bourne’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Mathews: Evan Bourne is going to join the chaos out here now.

Striker: At Unforgiven, Bourne came so close to winning the ECW Championship. He had the second to last fall in the match. If the match only ended about fifteen or so seconds earlier he would have won.

Bourne gets into the ring and gets a microphone.

Bourne: Hold on here. Now you two can argue all you want but it doesn't change the fact that you couldn't get the last fall of the match. Christian won, he's the ECW Champion and there's nothing you can do or say to change that. Christian, that was a great match and I felt like I was about to become ECW Champion when I pinned Burchill, but you bested me and I want to congratulate you. And Swagger, I'm tired of you undermining me. Let me remind you that because of me and my quickness, Kozlov was taken out for the ending of the Scramble Match

Swagger: You jumped over him and the big idiot rammed his head into the steel steps. Yeah that took a lot of skill. I don't know who's worse? You, the small glorified acrobatics show or that no talented brainless freak, Kozlov.

Just then Vladimir Kozlov’s music plays and the crowd boos

Mathews: And now Vladimir Kozlov joins the mix. The entire Scramble Match form Unforgiven is out here now.

Striker: Kozlov obviously can’t be happy about what Swagger just said about him.

Mathews: This is the second time Swagger has insulted Kozlov behind his back. What is Swagger thinking?

Kozlov enters the ring and stands right in front on Swagger.

Swagger: What did you hear your name and decided to come out here? Did I hurt your feelings again with my comments? No that can't be it because you can't even understand half of what I'm saying you Russian moron. You will never be on my level because everyone knows that the best wrestlers come from America. Not Canada, not England, and especially not Russia.

Swagger waves his hand in front of Kozlov’s face

Swagger: Do you understand me? It’s like I'm talking to a wall. You're nothing but....

Just then Kozlov headbutts Swagger which knocks Swagger to the floor.

Striker: Wow! What a massive headbutt to Swagger!

Kozlov then starts to beat Swagger with punches. Burchill goes to attack Kozlov, but Bourne and Christian attack Burchill instead. It’s an all out brawl between the five men until security and referees come out and break them all up.

Mathews: All five men finally being contained. Matt, things got out of hand quickly.

Striker: And all because Swagger had to open his mouth again about Kozlov. Didn’t he learn from last time not to do that?

Tiffany’s music then plays and the crowd cheers. Tiffany comes out on the titantron with a microphone.

Tiffany: Hold them back! I know there’s tension between all of you, but this is not the way we’re going to settle things. I’m out here to deliver a message directly from General Manager Tommy Dreamer. This message is regarding the ECW Championship match at our next pay per view No Mercy. Tonight, we will find out who will be the #1 contender for Christian’s ECW Title. We will determine that in a fatal four way match. In that match will be you four men in the ring: Jack Swagger, Paul Burchill, Evan Bourne, and Vladimir Kozlov. Now I suggest all of you forget about this fight and go in the back to get ready. And if anyone starts another fight before the fatal four way match tonight, that person will be taken out of the match. Gentlemen, good luck.

All four men look at each other with a serious, competitive face

Striker: What an announcement. A fatal four way match between the four challengers at Unforgiven to determine who will face Christian for the ECW Championship at No Mercy.

Mathews: That will be our main event for tonight. Still to come on ECW we will see Finlay go one-one-one with the Hart Dynasty’s David Hart Smith. And when we return, we will see Ezekiel Jackson in action. Don’t go anywhere. ECW will be right back here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

DJ Gabriel’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Wokingham, Berkshire, England, weighing in at 220 pounds, DJ Gabriel.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW. And here comes a new young man trying to make an impact.

Striker: Well unfortunately for DJ Gabriel, tonight probably won’t be that night considering his opponent.

Ezekiel Jackson’s music plays and there is a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd

Chimel: And his opponent, from Harlem, New York, weighing in at 305 pounds, Ezekiel Jackson.

Mathews: And here he is. The massive Ezekiel Jackson. Last week we saw Ezekiel win his debut match here on ECW.

Striker: Ezekiel Jackson was dominant last week in an impressive debut. Can he keep that impression going here tonight?

Ezekiel Jackson vs. DJ Gabriel
-The match starts with Gabriel punching away at Zeke. Zeke pushes Gabriel away. Gabriel gets up and gets hit with a huge shoulder block that sends him straight to the ground. Zeke picks him up and delivers a massive scoop slam. Zeke then picks Gabriel up by the throat and throws him across the ring. Gabriel gets up slowly in the corner. Zeke runs at Gabriel in the corner but Gabriel puts his boot up and connects with Zeke’s head. Gabriel delivers a few forearms to Zeke and then delivers a corner aided dropkick which stumbles Zeke down to a knee. Gabriel goes to the second rope and jumps off for a cross body but Zeke catches him and flows right into a backbreaker on Gabriel. Zeke picks Gabriel up, sets him up, and delivers an uranage. The cover, 1...2...3 Zeke wins.
Winner: Ezekiel Jackson

Chimel: Here is your winner, Ezekiel Jackson.

Striker: What an impressive showing by Big Zeke.

Mathews: The strength and power of Jackson was just too much for DJ Gabriel to handle.

As Ezekiel Jackson stands tall in the ring, Mark Henry and Tony Atlas come out on the titantron. They smile and start clapping for Jackson

Striker: It looks like Mark Henry and Tony Atlas were impressed by the dominate showing of Ezekiel Jackson.

Mathews: Last week we saw Mark Henry and Tony Atlas backstage talking to Ezekiel Jackson. I wonder what this is all about?

Striker: Well hopefully we’ll find out soon. But still to come here tonight on ECW, we’ll see a fatal four way match for the #1 contendership to the ECW Title in our main event. We’ll be right back with more ECW here on SyFy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see Tommy Dreamer in his office when Zack Ryder barges in

Dreamer: Thanks for knocking. What can I do for you Zack?

Ryder: Well bro you can tell me why I’m not in the #1 contenders match tonight.

Dreamer: Because “bro” you need to prove more to me if you want to be the #1 contender to the ECW Championship. You haven’t really shown me anything impressive lately.

Ryder: I’m not impressive? Are you sure you’re watching my matches? Not only do I look and dress better than everyone in that #1 contenders match, but I can beat each and every one of them. Hell I can even beat the ECW Champion because I know I’m better than him. Canada has nothing on Long Island.

Dreamer: Is that so? Well then I’m going to give you a chance to prove it. Next week on ECW our main event will be a non-titled match between the ECW Champion Christian….and you, Zack Ryder.

Ryder: Now there you go bro. I’m going to show you that I deserve to challenge for the ECW Championship. After next week, you’ll never have to think twice about having me in a #1 contenders match. And soon enough, I’ll become ECW Champion. Woo woo woo! You know it!

Ryder walks out of the office as the camera fades out

*-----Commercial Break------*

Finlay’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, weighing in at 233 pounds, Finlay.

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW and we’re getting ready for more action. Here comes the Fighting Irishman Finlay.

Striker: Last week on ECW, Finlay lost to the Hart Dynasty’s Tyson Kidd. The brute Irishman looks to get retribution this week by beating Kidd’s partner.

Mathews: Finlay loves to fight and I think he’s ready to send a message to the Canadian team.

The Hart Dynasty’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: And his opponent, being accompanied by Tyson Kidd and Natalya, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 260 pounds, David Hart Smith.

Striker: Well here’s the man that hopes to duplicate what his partner did last week, and that’s beat the tough Finlay.

Mathews: David Hart Smith, the son of the British Bulldog. He’s hopes to pick up the biggest win in his singles career here tonight.

Striker: Bu that’s no easy task because Finlay won’t go down without one hell of a fight. Can Smith keep the Hart Dynasty on a roll with a win?

Finlay vs. David Hart Smith
-The match is back and forth the whole time with both men showing their skills. Towards the end Smith is in control. Smith tosses Finlay off the ropes. He goes for a boot but Finlay ducks and continues to go off the ropes. Finlay comes back and Smith catches him and delivers a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The cover, 1...2...Finlay kicks out. Smith tosses Finlay into the corner. Smith charges at Finlay but Finlay puts both boots up and catches Smith in the face. Finlay lifts Smith for the Celtic Cross but Smith gets off. Smith lifts Finlay up for a running powerslam but Finlay elbows his way out. He chop blocks Smith and then hits a low dropkick to the side of Smith’s head. Finlay goes to get the shillelagh but Natalya grabs it. The referee argues with Natalya to put it back. Out of the referee’s view, Kidd gets on the apron and delivers a jumping kick to the side of Finlay’s head. Finlay stumbles over to Smith who lifts Finlay up and delivers the running powerslam. The cover, 1....2...3 Smith wins.
Winner: David Hart Smith

Chimel: Here is your winner, David Hart Smith

Mathews: What a win for David Hart Smith. His biggest victory in singles competition since coming to ECW.

Striker: Although you have to give the assist to Natalya and Tyson Kidd. Impressive showing nonetheless by both men.

Mathews: Still to come tonight is our huge main event. It’s a fatal four way match for the #1 contendership to the ECW Championship. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more ECW here on Syfy.

*-----Commercial Break------*

In the background “Scream” by Adelitas Way is playing as the album cover is shown of the screen

Mathews: Welcome back to ECW and you are listening to the official theme song for No Mercy. It’s “Scream” by Adelitas Way off their self-titled debut album, available now.

Striker: Well earlier tonight we heard everyone screaming about wanting an ECW Title shot. By orders of General Manager Tommy Dreamer, tonight we have a fatal four way match to determine who will face Christian at No Mercy for the ECW Championship. Will it be Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, Paul Burchill, or Vladimir Kozlov? We’ll find out later in our main event.

Mathews: And speaking of main events, next week’s main event is set and boy is it huge. It’ll be Zack Ryder taking on the ECW Champion Christian. This is Zack Ryder’s biggest match to date.

Striker: Even though it’s non-titled, this match is a huge opportunity for Ryder to show that he deserves a shot at the ECW Title. A win next week could put Ryder’s career on the map.

Mathews: Will the Long Island native be able to defeat the Canadian ECW Champion? We’ll find out next week here on ECW.

Backstage we see Paul Burchill and Katie Lea walking to the ring when they run into Jack Swagger

Burchill: Well, well. If it isn’t the All American Jack Swagger.

Swagger: That’s All American American.

Burchill: I don’t care. What do you want? In case you forgot, we have a fatal four way match now for the #1 contendership to the ECW Title.

Swagger: Yeah I know, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about. Look, throughout the last few weeks we’ve kind of had each other’s back. Now I know we’re not friends or anything, but I think we should use this to our advantage.

Burchill: What are you talking about?

Swagger: What I’m saying is that the two of us should work together to take out the untalented losers Evan Bourne and Vladimir Kozlov. This way, the two of us can just fight for the title shot. We’ll pick up where we left off at Unforgiven. We’ll see who would have won if there was more time and who the better man is. But first we need to get rid of those wastes of space.

Burchill: let me make this perfectly clear to you. I don’t like you. It was a coincidence that it looked like I had your back. And I don’t care what you think or say, but I would have won at Unforgiven if it wasn’t for you breaking up my pin on Christian. But with that said, I see where you’re coming from with this plan, so I’ll agree to it. This doesn’t mean we’re friends or allies. All we are doing is eliminating who shouldn’t be in that match and finishing off what we started at Unforgiven.

Swagger: Exactly. Nothing more. Just working together to get those other two out of the way and then all bets are off. Everyman for himself.

Swagger and Burchill look at each other and then shake hands

Swagger: Good doing business with you.

Burchill: And you too. But if I get an opportunity and the timing is right, I will drop you and I will win the match. Just be aware of that.

Burchill walks off with Katie Lea and Swagger stands there taken back but then shakes it off and goes to the ring.

Mathews: The fatal four way #1 contenders match is next here on ECW. Don’t go away. We’ll be right back.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Christian’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome your guest commentator for the following contest, he is the ECW Champion, Christian.

Mathews: It looks like the ECW Champion is coming to join us.

Striker: I don’t see why not. Christian wants to get a close look at these four possible contenders.

Christian comes over to the announce table

Mathews: Christian, welcome. Glad you could join us.

Christian: Thank you guys for having me out here. I can’t wait to see who’s going to be my opponent at No Mercy for this title. Any of them have a shot.

Chimel: The following contest is a fatal four way match scheduled for one fall, where the winner will be the #1 contender for the ECW Championship at No Mercy.

Jack Swagger’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: Introducing first, from Perry, Oklahoma, weighing in at 263 pounds, The All American American, Jack Swagger.

Mathews: Here comes the man that started all the chaos earlier in the night.

Christian: Jack Swagger is a great talent, but he has a lot to learn still. For instance, he needs to know when to shut his mouth.

Striker: I’ll admit, Swagger’s comments towards Vladimir Kozlov in recent weeks have not been a wise choice.

Christian: I guess the beating Kozlov gave him a few weeks ago wasn’t enough for Swagger to know to back off.

Evan Bourne’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Chimel: From St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 183 pounds, Evan Bourne.

Mathews: Here comes the exciting Evan “Air” Bourne. It seems like you two are good friends Christian.

Christian: Yeah we are. Evan is a great guy and an amazing competitor in that ring. He has so much untapped charisma. We are seeing the beginning of a star in Evan Bourne.

Striker: How would you feel about facing your friend at No Mercy with the ECW Title on the line?

Christian: I think it would be a great match for the fans. I know that I personally would love to face Evan. He came close to winning at Unforgiven, but my experience just paid off in the end.

Paul Burchill’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Katie Lea, from Chelsea, England, weighing in at 247 pounds, Paul Burchill.

Mathews: Well here comes the man who claims he had you pinned at Unforgiven and would have been ECW Champion if it wasn;t for Jack Swagger.

Christian: Burchill caught me by surprise from behind. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing because I did that to Evan Bourne a few seconds earlier in the match. The fact of the matter is that there were others in that match. It doesn’t matter if he thought he had me pinned or not, because in the end he didn’t get the pin or my ECW Title.

Striker: That’s absolutely true, but you can’t help but wonder Christian if you would have kicked out if it wasn’t for Swagger.

Christian: I’m not even going to answer that. You and Burchill can wonder all you want but it didn’t happen and that’s all that matters.

Vladimir Kozlov’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: And from Moscow, weighing in at 302 pounds, Vladimir Kozlov.

Mathews: And here’s the dominating Moscow Mauler. What is your take on this man Christian?

Christian: Kozlov is simply a dominant powerhouse. He was trained many forms of fighting and wrestling over in Russia. He’s someone I’m going to have to look out for.

Striker: There’s no doubt Kozlov would have the strength and power advantage over you. Do you hope Kozlov out of everyone in this match doesn’t win?

Christian: I don’t have a preference. I’m a fighting champion. I want to prove that I can take on all comers, and that includes Kozlov.

#1 Contendership for ECW Championship
Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne vs. Paul Burchill vs. Vladimir Kozlov

-The match begins with Kozlov going right after Swagger. The four brawl back and forth in the ring for the whole match, with Burchill and Swagger seeming to work together at some points. Towards the end Bourne and Burchill are fighting in the ring while Kozlov and Swagger are on the outside. Bourne connects with knee to the face and then a unique roundhouse kick to knock Burchill down. On the outside Kozlov tosses Swagger into the steel steps and then goes to get back in the ring. Bourne goes up top and connects with the flying double knees to Burchill and he quickly hooks the legs. The cover, 1...2...Kozlov grabs Bourne and delivers a belly to belly suplex. Kozlov stares down at Bourne, proud of his actions. Burchill attacks Kozlov from behind with clubbing blows. Burchill runs off the ropes and charges at Kozlov but Kozlov delivers a massive headbutt to the chest of Burchill. Kozlov turns around and sees Swagger getting in the ring slowly. Kozlov goes over to him and delivers a stiff kick to the chest which sends Swagger back into the corner. Kozlov charges at Swagger head first but Swagger moves and Kozlov bashes his head into the corner. Swagger the delivers a back suplex to Kozlov. At the same time, Bourne connects with a kick to the head of Burchill which knocks him down. Swagger runs at the corner by the fallen Kozlov and does the jumping second rope splash onto Kozlov. Bourne then delivers and enzuguiri to Swagger. Bourne looks at Kozlov on the ground by the corner and decides to climb up top. Bourne goes up top and hits the Air Bourne on Kozlov. Bourne goes for the cover, 1...2...Swagger grabs Bourne around the waist and pulls him off the cover. Swagger has Bourne in position and hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb. Just then Burchill comes from behind and quickly hits the Twisted Sister on Swagger. The cover, 1...2...3 Burchill wins.
Winner: Paul Burchill

Chimel: Here is your winner and the #1 contender for the ECW Championship, Paul Burchill

Mathews: So it looks like Christian you’ll be facing Paul Burchill at No Mercy.

Striker: This is Burchill’s first one-on-one ECW Title shot. What an impressive win by The Ripper.

Christian: I have to admit, Burchill earned it and he is impressive. But no matter how impressive he may be, he’s not going to take this ECW Title from me.

Burchill looks over the ropes and points at Christian. Burchill signals around his waist for the ECW Title. Christian then stands up staring at Burchill and holds the ECW Title up high.

Striker: The intense stare down between No Mercy opponents. This is going to be a great match.

Mathews: Can Burchill finally win the ECW Title or will Christian continue his reign as champion in three weeks at No Mercy? Thank you for joining us tonight for ECW. What a night. Goodnight.

WWE Superstars Opening Video is shown

The crowd goes wild

Mathews: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to WWE Superstars and what a night we have for you.

Striker: That’s right. Tonight, our main event comes to you from Raw. It’ll be the United States Champion MVP taking on The Miz in a non-titled match. Will MVP shut the cocky reality star up, or will Miz move closer to a U.S. Title shot?

Mathews: And in just a few moments we will start things off with a match from ECW. Let’s get started.

The Hart Dynasty’s music plays and the crowd boos

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by David Hart Smith and Natalya, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 199 pounds, Tyson Kidd.

Mathews: Here is a man who has a bright future ahead of him. The last graduate of the famous Hart Family Dungeon, Tyson Kidd.

Striker: These last few weeks, the Hart Dynasty has been on a roll, with every member picking up a win in singles competition. That shows that they aren’t just tag team specialist, but they can also get it done in the ring by themselves.

Mathews: Two nights ago on ECW, Kidd’s partner David Hart Smith picked up a huge victory over Finlay. Can Kidd keep the winning trend going for the Hart Dynasty?

Mark Henry’s music plays and there is a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd

Chimel: And his opponent, being accompanied by Tony Atlas, from Silsbee, Texas, weighing in at 392 pounds, The World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

Striker: Well if anyone can stop the winning trend of the Hart Dynasty, it’s the World’s Strongest Man.

Mathews: Lately Mark Henry has not been on his A game. Last month he lost his qualifying match to Vladimir Kozlov and then in singles competition to Finlay. Mark Henry looks tonight to get back on the winning end of things.

Striker: Also, lately we’ve seen Mark Henry and Tony Atlas interacting with Ezekiel Jackson. I wonder what’s going on with that.

Tyson Kidd vs. Mark Henry
-Henry uses his strength to take control from the beginning of the match. He continues to dominate Kidd with strength until Natalya gets on the apron. She distracts the referee while Smith delivers a jawbreaker to Henry on the ropes. Kidd dropkicks Henry's left leg out knocking him down. Kidd continues to work on the leg of Henry with multiple submissions and kicks to the leg. The match continues like this until Kidd goes for a springboard dropkick but Henry catches him in a bear hug. Kidd rakes the eyes of Henry to get out of the submission and then kicks out Henry's left leg. Kidd goes out to the apron and hits a springboard flipping neckbreaker on Henry. The cover, 1...2...Henry kicks out. Kidd goes out to the apron and goes for the Springboard Elbow Drop. Henry sits up facing Kidd and catches him as he comes down. Henry gets all the way up to his feet still holding Kidd and delivers the World's Strongest Slam. The cover, 1...2...3 Henry wins.
Winner: Mark Henry

Chimel: Here is your winner, Mark Henry.

Mathews: What a win by Mark Henry. It seems like he’s back on track.

Striker: But we can’t sell Kidd short. He did great in that ring against a man the size of Mark Henry.

Mathews: He did, but the bottom line is Mark Henry won. What’s next for Mark Henry here on ECW? Well up next, we will see a tag team match from Smackdown. And don’t forget about our main event for tonight, when it’ll be MVP taking on The Miz. Stay tuned for more WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Cryme Tyme’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 530 pounds, Shad and JTG, Cryme Tyme.

Grisham: Welcome back to WWE Superstars and it’s now time for the Smackdown portion of the show.

JR: Tag team action here with Cryme Tyme. These guys are a young, up-in-coming team that could be the future of the tag team division.

Grisham: With a win here, they could be closer to a Tag Team Title shot.

Jimmy Wang Yang’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 416 pounds, Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang.

JR: And here’s a unique team here. Teaming for the first time, Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang.

Grisham: They both have similar styles in the ring so let’s see how they work together in this match.

Cryme Tyme vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Jesse
-The match is an even contest. Both teams get a lot of offense and tag in multiple times. Jesse & Yang work well as a tag team, performing many double team moves such as double dropkicks and other kick combinations. Towards the end JTG and Jesse are the legal men, with Jesse in control. Jesse goes for a sunset flip but JTG rolls through. JTG stands up and goes for a kick but Jesse ducks and goes for a school boy. The cover, 1...2...JTG kicks out. Both men get to their feet and Jesse hits a flipping neckbraeker on JTG. Jesse goes to the top rope and jumps off for a body splash but JTG moves. Both men are down and crawl to their corners. They both get the tag to their partners. Yang runs in at Shad and jumps to attack him but Shad shoves Yang away. Shad goes off the ropes and hits Yang with a huge shoulder block. Shad goes off the ropes, taunts and chants "money money yeah yeah" and drops the elbow. The cover, 1...2...Yang kicks out. Jesse then comes in and starts attacking Shad. Yang gets up and joins Jesse. They both kick Shad in the legs taking Shad down to his knees and then they deliver a double dropkick to the chest and back at the same time. JTG then comes in and attacks Jesse. He clotheslines him to the outside and launches himself over the top rope and onto Jesse. As Shad gets up slowly, Yang goes to the top rope and goes for his patented moonsault, but Shad catches him and puts him on his shoulders. JTG runs in and Cryme Tyme does their tag team finisher the G9. The cover, 1...2...3 Cryme Tyme wins.
Winner: Cryme Tyme

Justin: Here are your winners, Shad and JTG, Cryme Tyme

JR: Cryme Tyme picks up the win but what a match.

Grisham: Jesse and Jimmy Wang Yang did much better as a team than any of us thought. We could be seeing a new team in the tag team division.

JR: Both teams could be in the Tag Team Title picture soon enough. Well don’t go anywhere because we still have our main event from Raw. It’s the United States Champion MVP taking on the cocky and arrogant Miz. We’ll be right back with more WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage a reporter is with MVP

Reporter: I’m here with the United States Champion MVP. MVP in just a few moments you’ll go one-on-one with The Miz. What are your thoughts on this match?

MVP: First off let me say that I’m glad we’re having this match. This past Monday on Raw I couldn’t help but hear The Miz run his mouth at the announce booth during one of the matches. If I remember correctly, Miz said that he could beat anyone in the United States Title division easily, including me, the United States Champion. Now obviously Miz is gunning for my United States Title, as are a lot of people. Miz wants his shot, he wants to get noticed, well here’s his chance. The United States Title picture keeps growing with guys like The Miz, Kofi Kingston, The Brian Kendrick, and Chavo Guerrero. That’s a great title division right there. But as far as The Miz goes, he walks around all the time with a cocky attitude and thinks he can do and say whatever he wants. Tonight, I’m going to shut The Miz up by beating one…two…three. You see, The Miz is just a punk that made it big by acting like a jackass on the Real World, while I worked hard for everything that I’ve gotten and came from the bottom up. I’m going to show The Miz why I’m the United States Champion and why he’ll never be BALLIN’!

Reporter: Just one more question MVP. On Raw this past Monday night, we saw the return of the V.I.P. Lounge. Things seemed to get chaotic in the ring with your guest the Big Show. You managed to get the best of the World’s Largest Athlete, but can you describe that whole situation and your reaction to it?

MVP: I brought Big Show out as my guest to just talk about his career right now. He started making remarks towards me saying that he better than me because he beat me about a month ago to qualify for the Scramble Match. I’ll be honest, Big Show is almost unstoppable. He’s a huge, powerful guy. It’s tough to beat him one-on-one. But once he started getting really cocky and arrogant towards me, I reminded him that I am the United States Champion and he doesn’t having any gold. That really set him off and I knew it. I was prepared for him to attack me, which is why I ended up getting the better of him on Raw. I understand him getting mad at my comment, but slapping the belt to the ground was insulting to me and insulting to this prestigious championship. But now maybe Big Show will think twice before doing that again.

MVP walks off to go to the ring

Cole: MVP is in action against The Miz when we return to WWE Superstars here on WGN America.

*-----Commercial Break------*

The Miz’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following non-titled contets is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 231 pounds, The Miz.

Cole: Welcome back to WWE Superstars and it’s time for our main event. Even though this is a non-titled match, this is a very important match for The Miz.

King: That’s right. A win here could put Miz right into contention for the United States Title.

Cole: Miz was talking a lot of trash on Raw Monday night. Let’s see if he can back it up.

MVP’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 249 pounds, the United States Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP.

Cole: And here comes the United States Champion. We heard from MVP before the break.

King: Yeah, he said he was going to shut The Miz up and teach him a lesson. I can’t wait to see that.

Cole: Well after what we saw MVP do to Big Show on Raw, Miz should not take MVP lightly.

MVP vs. The Miz
-The match is a back and forth battle the entire time. Both men show off their moves and there are multiple unique reversals in the match. Towards the end MVP is in control. He connects with a throat chop to Miz and then connects with the facebuster to the knee. MVP taunts to the crowd and hits the Ballin’ Elbow. MVP then stalks Miz and sets up for the Playmaker. Miz gets out of it quicky. Miz dropkicks MVP to his knees and then hits a DDT. The cover, 1...2...MVP kicks out. Miz gets frustrated and stalks for the Reality Check. Miz goes for the Reality Check but MVP moves away from the initial knee and dropkicks Miz. MVP then stalks and goes for the Drive By Kick but Miz moves his head making MVP miss. Miz grabs MVP for the Skull Crushing Finale but MVP slides down and out of the grip and into a roll up. The cover, 1...2...Miz kicks out. Both men get up at the same time. Miz charges at MVP but MVP connects with a boot to the face of Miz. MVP then sets up for the Playmaker again but this time Kendrick comes out and on the apron. Kendrick is yelling at MVP which distracts MVP. MVP goes over to punch Kendrick but Kendrick drops down from the apron and taunts MVP. Just then Kofi comes out and attacks Kendrick at ringside. The referee is yelling at these two to stop fighting. While the referee is distracted with this, Big Show comes out and onto the apron. MVP turns around by the ropes not noticing Big Show was there and gets hit with the Knockout Punch. MVP falls back into the grip of Miz who delivers the Skull Crushing Finale as the referee gets back to the action in the ring. The cover, 1...2...3 Miz wins.
Winner: The Miz

Lilian: Here is your winner, The Miz

King: I…I can’t believe The Miz just won. The Miz just beat the United States Champion.

Cole: Impressive win, but we can’t disregard the distraction by Kendrick and the interference by the Big Show.

King: But that doesn’t matter. In the record books and in Miz’s mind The Miz just defeated the United States Champion MVP.

The Miz walks up the ramp with a huge smirk on his face with The Brian Kendrick by his side. In the ring, Kofi Kingston is checking on MVP as Big Show stands in the ring looking down at the fallen MVP.

Cole: Take a look at Miz. He’s so happy about his actions. Look at him grinning like an idiot.

King: Well look at Big Show. He’s examining the damage he’s done. I bet he’s real proud of himself. I guess that was payback for this past Monday Night on Raw.

Cole: Well thank you for joining us here for WWE Superstars. Goodnight everyone.

Smackdown Preview:

This week on Smackdown, just five days removed from the pay per view, we will see the fallout from Unforgiven.

At Unforgiven we saw Edge do the impossible and retain his World Title. After a little help from his body guard The Great Khali, Edge was able to hit a Spear on Morrison and get the final pin in the match. After this victory, the Rated R Champion must be in a great mood. What lies ahead for the World Heavyweight Champion Edge?

Speaking of the World Title, General Manager Theodore Long will have a huge announcement on Smackdown. We are told that it will have something to do with the World Heavyweight Championship and our next pay per view No Mercy. The announcement is said to be revealed at the start of this week’s Smackdown. What will Theodore Long have in mind?

At Unforgiven, we saw the return of the “Phenom” the Undertaker. During Jericho and Kane’s match, the lights went out when Jericho had Kane in the Walls of Jericho. Kane took advantage of this and ended up winning after a Chokeslam to Jericho. After the match, the Undertaker came down to the ring for the first time since WrestleMania 25. Jericho yelled at and then slapped the Deadman. Undertaker answered with a forceful Tombstone Piledriver to the egocentric Jericho. We saw Jericho’s frustration later when he complained to our General Manager Theodore Long. After Long decided to do nothing, how will Jericho react to this?

And at Unforgiven, we saw a new Intercontinental Champion crowned as Shelton Benjamin defeated Rey Mysterio in what is being called a “classic match.” After the match was over, the new champion shook Mysterio’s hand out of a sign of respect. Are we not only seeing a new Intercontinental Champion but also a new Shelton Benjamin?

Tune into Friday Night Smackdown on My Network TV this week to find out the answers to all of these questions and more.

Smackdown 9/18/09

WWE Signature Video shown

Recap video is shown from Unforgiven. It shows various clips from the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble match. It then shows the ending of the match. Morrison hits Umaga with the Flying Chuck, Punk delivers a GTS to Umaga, and Jeff hits the Swanton on Umaga. Punk hits the GTS on Jeff and goes for the cover, but Morrison breaks it up. The two reverse each other’s finishers and then Morrison hits the Moonlight Drive on Punk. Morrison goes for Starship Pain but Khali is on the apron and shoves Morrison off the ropes and to the mat. Edge then stalks Morrison as he gets up and hits a Spear. Edge pins Morrison with eight seconds left. Edge looks around and taunts as he sees everyone else is down and out.

Theodore Long is on the screen shown backstage

Long: Hello. I’m Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long. All week there has been a rumor about me making an announcement about No Mercy and the World Heavyweight Title. Well it’s true and I’m going to give my announcement right now. Tonight on Smackdown, we will determine the #1 contender for Edge's World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy. We will start off the night with two over the top rope battle royals with five participants in each. The winners of the two battle royals will go on to face each other later tonight in our main event. The winner of that match will become the official #1 contender and go onto No Mercy to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship. So let's get this nig....

A sarcastic clap in the background interrupts Theodore Long. Long turns his head towards it. The camera zooms out and we see Edge clapping with The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh by his side.

Long: Edge? What are you doing here?

Edge: I heard there was going to be announcement about my opponent at No Mercy so I figured I'd hear it up close and personal.

Long: Well you heard it. I don't want you to complain now since I just gave you a one-on-one match. Now Edge I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

Edge: Leave? That's fine. I was going to leave anyway since "we" have an announcement of our own.

Long: So what is yours and Khali's announcement about?

Edge: First off, you'll have to wait and find out. And secondly, when I said "we" I didn't mean me and Khali. I meant me and him.

Edge points behind Long. Long turns around. The camera moves over and we see Chris Jericho.

Jericho: Yeah Teddy. “WE” have an announcement to make in the ring now. Why don't you watch and listen because I think it might be something you'll be interested in.

Jericho, Edge, Khali and Ranjin walk off as Long looks on shocked and confused.

Smackdown Opening Video is shown

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

JR: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV. We are just a few days removed from Unforgiven and what a night we have in stored already. We just heard the big announcement by General Manager Theodore Long about the World Heavyweight Championship match at No Mercy.

Grisham: That’s right. Tonight we will have two battle royals. The winners will face off in the main event tonight, where the winner will be named the official #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title at No Mercy. Who will face Edge at No Mercy?

“Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays. Chris Jericho and Edge with The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh come out and the crowd boos.

Justin: Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce accompanied by The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh, the World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Chris Jericho.

JR: Now this, I can’t wait to hear. What do Edge and Chris Jericho have to say?

Grisham: At Unforgiven backstage we saw them talking to each other after Jericho yelled at Long for Undertaker’s actions. I’m guessing they’re going to address what they talked about together, but what could that be?

The four men enter the ring and look around at the crowd as they are booed. Jericho and Edge get microphones.

Edge: At Unforgiven this past Sunday, I was forced into the most unpredictable and unfair match in WWE history. I had to defend my World Heavyweight Title in a Scramble Match. It was said that I was almost guaranteed to lose my title. That my chances of walking out victorious were slim. Well guess what?

Edge lifts up the World Heavyweight Title

Edge: I’m still your World Heavyweight Champion. None of you thought I could win. None of you believed in me. And most importantly, none of you wanted me to win. That’s right. You all wanted me to lose. Do you know who else wanted me to lose? Our General Manager Theodore Long. He hates me as the World Champion, which is why I was forced into a Scramble Match for my title. He didn’t stick up for me. He didn’t try to make things fair. Theodore Long is biased. I’ve been saying that for weeks but no one else seems to notice this….except one person. And that man is the man standing next to me, Chris Jericho.

Jericho: For weeks, Theodore Long has treated me unfairly as well. Theodore Long tries to justify his actions by saying that I bring everything upon myself with either my words or my actions. That’s fictitious and erroneous. Let’s take Unforgiven as an example. First off, I did nothing to Kane to warrant a match against him. I didn’t make fun of him or attack him. Kane took it upon himself to attack me because of what I said about myself. I said that I was the best wrestler in the WWE and that makes him want to attack me? And Theodore Long didn’t see a problem with it. Instead of punishing Kane, he puts me in a match with him. So during the match, I did what I said I was going to and that was dominate the Big Red Machine. I had Kane locked in the Walls Of Jericho, just seconds away from tapping out……and then the lights went out. I had the match won, and if it wasn’t for the Undertaker cheating for his brother, I would’ve gotten the win in the record books. And as if that wasn’t enough, after the match, the Undertaker decides to show up and confront me face-to-face. He gets in the ring and attacks me for no reason. Actually you know what, he did have a reason. Yeah, it was the “grand return” of the Undertaker. He wanted to do something special. So he delivered an unwarranted Tombstone to me just to pander to all of these parasites he calls fans. So I went to Theodore Long’s office to see what he was going to do about this situation. And guess what? He did nothing. You know why? Because he favors people like the Undertaker. People that are the “fan favorites” and who pander to these hypocrites. Theodore Long is supposed to be an unbiased General Manager. Instead he favors people like the Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, and CM Punk, and he’s unjust towards people like me and Edge. This biased attitude prevents us from going anywhere in this company and getting fair treatment. The only reason Edge is still the World Heavyweight Champion right now is because he’s that damn good. But what can we do about this? Well, we have a plan.

Edge: That’s right. We have a plan to take down Theodore Long. You see, for awhile now we’ve complained and tried to deal with Teddy Long by ourselves, individually. But now we see that if we unite, together we can make a difference. We can put an end to the biased actions of our General Manager. And we know that we’re not the only ones who feel this way about Theodore Long and the way things are run around here. So we invite anyone who feels the same way as us and wants to get rid of our biased General Manager to join us. Join us and we will not only get rid of Teddy Long, but we will take over Smackdown. Because we are Smackdown. We are the best this company has to offer and everyone like these fans and Theodore Long needs to realize that. This is the start of the Smackdown takeover. This is the start of the Revolution!

Edge and Jericho look at each other, shake hands, and then raise their arms standing tall and proud.

Grisham: Wow! What an announcement. Edge and Chris Jericho are working together to get rid of Theodore Long and take over Smackdown.

JR: Well it’s been obvious for weeks that Edge and Jericho haven’t been pleased with how Theodore Long has been running things. How will this “revolution” play out with the two biggest egos in the business leading it?

Grisham: Up next, we’re going to have our first of two battle royals. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

We come back with Edge at the announce table, and Jericho and Khali in the ring as “Smack Down” by Thousand Foot Krutch plays and the crowd boos

Justin: The following contest is an over the top rope battle royal, where the winner will go onto the main event tonight to determine the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. In the ring, first, accompanied by Ranjin Singh, from India, weighing in at 420 pounds, The Great Khali. And also currently in the ring, from Manhasset, New York, weighing in at 226 pounds, Chris Jericho.

JR: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown. We are getting ready for our first battle royal of the night and we are joined here by the World Heavyweight Champion Edge. Now Edge, we just witnessed a blockbuster announcement moments ago.

Edge: That’s right JR. Chris and I are fed up with the way Theodore Long is treating us. It’s time we did something about it.

Grisham: I believed you called it a “revolution.” But getting back to the match, obviously Edge you’re out here to see who could possibly be facing you at No Mercy for your title.

Edge: I’m out here to watch Chris Jericho and Khali dominate this battle royal.

Grisham: Ok then. You seem pretty confident as always.

CM Punk’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: Making his way to the ring, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 222 pounds, Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk.

JR: Mr. Money In The Bank making his way down to the ring…

Edge: Don’t call him that. Don’t call him “Mr. Money In The Bank.” That’s my nickname. I’m the only man to ever cash in the Money In The Bank twice, and I was successful both times.

Grisham: Well Edge, CM Punk is the only man to have won the Money In The Bank ladder match twice.

JR: Either way, as World Heavyweight Champion, you need to watch out for CM Punk. He can cash that in at any opportune moment.

Edge: Thanks for pointing out the obvious JR. With Khali by my side as my body guard I’m not worried at all.

Jeff Hardy’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: From Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 225 pounds, Jeff Hardy.

JR: And here comes the charismatic enigma Jeff Hardy. What do you have to say about Jeff, Edge?

Edge: Jeff Hardy embodies everything we are against. He does crazy flips and puts his life at risk, all for what? To get cheers from these people. He panders the most to fans out of everyone. Soon enough it will catch up to young Hardy.

Grisham: But Edge, Jeff Hardy has made a career out of taking risks. It what he does best. It’s why he became a World Champion.

Edge: It’s also why he lost that title to me just a few weeks later. It’s also why he and his brother lost every TLC match against me. Face it. Jeff would be nothing without these people and Theodore Long backing him up.

Undertaker’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: And from Death Valley, weighing in at 299 pounds, Undertaker.

Jericho stares directly at the Undertaker as he makes his way to the ring

JR: The Deadman makes his in ring return here right now. Unforgiven was the first time we saw Undertaker since his incredible match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25.

Edge: WrestleMania 25. Greatest match ever. That’s all I hear. That wasn’t the greatest match ever. You know why? Because I wasn’t in it. I don’t see the big deal is about the Undertaker? I’ve beaten him so many times already that it’s not even a challenge to me.

Grisham: Look at Chris Jericho, just staring at the Undertaker. Do you think he’s a little afraid after what happened at Unforgiven?

Edge: Afraid? Does it look like Jericho is afraid right now? No, he’s ready to beat the Deadman back to hell after what he did at Unforgiven. Undertaker got nothing more than a cheap shot in on Jericho this past Sunday. And of course, Theodore Long does nothing about it and blames it all on Chris Jericho.

Over The Top Rope Battle Royal
Chris Jericho vs. The Great Khali vs. CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker

-The match starts off with Jericho and Undertaker fighting each other while Punk and Jeff double team Khali. They all brawl in the ring for awhile, trying to eliminate each other. Punk and Jeff have Khali on the ropes trying to use all of their strength to get him over the top rope. Jericho saves Khali by attacking Punk. Undertaker quickly grabs Jericho, throws him into a corner, and starts punching away at him. Khali kicks Jeff off, but Jeff comes back at him with multiple punches. Khali shoves Jeff away but Jeff comes back again, this time with a low dropkick to the knee which takes Khali down a peg. Jeff then goes to the top rope and sets up to jump on Khali. Khali then grabs Punk and tosses him in the corner where Jeff is on the top rope. Jeff loses his balance but stays on the top rope sitting. Khali comes over to the corner, but Punk connects with a roundhouse kick. Punk goes for another kick, but Khali catches it, backs Punk up to the ropes, and tosses Punk over the top rope and to the floor by his foot. Jeff tries to get back up to the top rope to surprise Khali with an aerial attack but Khali notices this and shoves Jeff off the top rope to the outside onto Punk. Khali then goes over to help Jericho with Undertaker as Undertaker was about to Chokeslam Jericho to the outside. Undertaker and Khali exchange punches until Jericho comes in and attacks Undertaker from behind. Jericho and Khali beat up Undertaker some more. Jericho then stands back and tells Khali to get rid of him. Khali grabs Undertaker by the throat with both hands and goes to lift him up by the ropes, but Undertaker is able to get out of the grip and kicks out Khali’s leg. Jericho comes over to attack Undertaker but Undertaker gets the advantage and punches away at Jericho. Undertaker grabs Jericho by the head and tosses him over the top rope, but Jericho holds on and stays on the apron, which Undertaker doesn’t notice. Undertaker goes over to Khali and delivers huge blows to him which sends him up against the ropes. Undertaker backs up and clotheslines Khali, but Khali doesn’t get all the way over the top rope. Undertaker runs off the ropes and with a full head of steam clotheslines Khali over the top rope and to the floor. Jericho then sneaks in and tosses Undertaker over the top rope and to the floor quickly to win.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Justin: Here is your winner, Chris Jericho

JR: Jericho wins. He snuck back in after Undertaker thought he was eliminated and surprised Undertaker by tossing him over the top rope.

Edge: See, I told you. Jericho won. That is why he’s the best at what he does today and that is why we are going to succeed at taking over Smackdown.

Jericho stands tall in the ring as Edge stands up and starts clapping for his new partner.

Grisham: Like it or not, Jericho wins and he will be moving onto our main event tonight to determine who will be the new #1 contender for Edge’s World Heavyweight Title at No Mercy.

JR: We’ll find out his opponent later tonight when we will have our second battle royal. More Friday Night Smackdown when we return here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage a reporter is with Dolph Ziggler

Reporter: I’m here with Dolph Ziggler. Dolph, in just a few moments you will be in action against R-Truth. What are your thoughts on this?

Ziggler: Tonight, I’m in a match with R-Truth. The same night that there are two, not one, but two battle royals for a shot at the #1 contendership. And yet, I’m not in either of them. I’m the future of this business. But how can I be the future when I’m not even given a shot? I’m better than everyone else in those battle royals. So tonight, I will take out my frustration on R-Truth. Tonight I will show everyone that I should be the #1 contender. You will see just a taste of my dominance and skills. Tonight you will find out why I am the future of the company. No one will never forget the name Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler starts to walk off to the ring

JR: A strong statement made by Dolph Ziggler. Can he back up his words?

Ziggler stops and sees Jericho, Edge, Khali, and Ranjin walking back from the ring. The four of them then stop as Ziggler extends his hand to Jericho and Edge.

Ziggler: Hi. I’m Dolph Ziggler, the future of Smackdown.

Ziggler then walks off after shaking Jericho and Edge’s hands. Jericho and Edge look back at Ziggler, look at each other, shrug their shoulders and continue to keep walking.

Grisham: Jericho and Edge just got introduced to Dolph Ziggler. They seem confused.

JR: Well that’s nothing new from Ziggler. He introduces himself to everyone. Up next, Ziggler is in action against R-Truth. We’ll see this match when we return to Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

R-Truth’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 228 pounds, R-Truth.

Grisham: Welcome back to Smackdown as the charismatic R-Truth makes his way down to the ring.

JR: R-Truth is great competitor in that ring. His offense is so unique. You never know what you’re going to see from the fan favorite.

Grisham: Some like to say, and I’m sure you agree with this JR that R-Truth has a bright future in this company.

JR: There is no doubt about that Todd.

Dolph Ziggler’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: And his opponent, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 221 pounds, Dolph Ziggler.

JR: But speaking of bright futures, none may be brighter than this man’s right here.

Grisham: Dolph Ziggler stating moments ago that he is the future Smackdown. He believes that he should be the #1 contender for the World Title.

JR: I can understand Ziggler being upset that he wasn’t put into one of the battle royals but Ziggler’s career is just starting. There is no doubt in my mind that he’ll be in a #1 contenders match one day.

R-Truth vs. Dolph Ziggler
-The match is a fast paced, back and forth match. As the match progresses, Ziggler starts to maintain control for most of the time. Towards the end, Ziggler takes R-Truth and whips him into the control chest first. R-Truth stumbles backwards out of the corner and Ziggler hits him with an impactful dropkick to the back which sends R-Truth into the corner again. Ziggler gets R-Truth on the top rope and delivers a super back suplex. Ziggler goes for the cover, 1...2...R-Truth kicks out. Ziggler starts slapping R-Truth around as he's lifting him up. Ziggler slaps R-Truth hard in the face and yells at him, but R-Truth answers back with an uppercut. R-Truth delivers a few right hands to Ziggler, but Ziggler quickly knees R-Truth in the gut to regain momentum. Ziggler tosses R-Truth off the ropes and bends down to setup for a back body drop, but R-Truth kicks Ziggler. R-Truth goes off the ropes at Ziggler, but Ziggler counters with a powerslam. Ziggler stalks R-Truth and taunts for the end. As R-Truth gets up, Ziggler goes for the Zig Zag but R-Truth quickly turns around and shoves Ziggler off mid move. R-Truth runs off the ropes and hits Ziggler with the Lie Detector. The cover, 1...2...Ziggler kicks out. R-Truth stalks Ziggler and goes for the Axe Kick but Ziggler moves out of the way and quickly hits the Zig Zag on R-Truth. The cover, 1...2...3 Ziggler wins.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Justin: Here is your winner, Dolph Ziggler

Grisham: Dolph Ziggler picks up the win and did exactly what he wanted to, and that’s show his dominance and skills.

JR: After seeing matches and victories like that from Ziggler, it should be clear to most that this man’s going somewhere in this business.

Grisham: It’s just a matter of time before Ziggler takes that big step towards the top. Well still to come is our second battle royal of the night. Five more competitors face off to see who will face Chris Jericho in our main event for the World Title shot at No Mercy. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage a reporter is with Shelton Benjamin

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the new Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin. First off, congratulations on winning the Intercontinental Title from Rey Mysterio at Unforgiven. That was a great match by both of you.

Shelton: Thank you. It was just a matter of time until I won this title back. Obviously, I’ve been the Intercontinental Champion before and I know the history this belt has. I’ve grown as an athlete and a competitor since I last won this title. You are all witnessing the Gold Standard rising up and finally reaching his full potential. Winning the Intercontinental Title now is my first step to the top. My next step is winning tonight’s battle royal and then become #1 contender after beating Chris Jericho in the main event tonight.

Reporter: Going back to Unforgiven, after the match I noticed you shook Rey Mysterio’s hand. With your new attitude and you attacking Rey a few weeks ago, I think it shocked everyone that you would do that. Why did you do that?

Shelton: Look, Rey and I had a great, competitive match. There’s no denying that. It was a classic and everything that this title represents. Whether I like Rey or not, by the end of the match I knew I had respect for him. And to show that respect, I decided to shake his hand.

Just then, Rey Mysterio comes in

Mysterio: You’re right Shelton. We did have a great match and you were the better man that night. Congratulations on winning the Intercontinental Title. And I respect the hand shake at the end of the match. At first I didn’t know what to think, but I’m glad you did it. Even though we have our differences, there is no doubt that you are a future star. You have all the talent in the world. And now that you have respect not just for me, not just for this title, but for the business, nothing can stand in your way.

Shelton: Thank you Rey. And you’re right. Nothing can stand in my way now. I’m going to go out there in the battle royal and show everyone what I’m capable of. And no one will stop be tonight. No one will stand in my way….including you Rey. I may respect you, but I’ll have no problem throwing you over that top rope. Because when it comes to a World Title shot, it’s every man for himself.

Mysterio: You’re right. It is every man for himself. And I am determined tonight to not only win the battle royal but become the #1 contender for the World Title. I did what I wanted in my title run, and that was to bring respect and honor back to the Intercontinental Championship. Now it’s time for me to win the World Title once again. And like you said, no one, including you Shelton, is going to get in my way.

Shelton and Mysterio stare each other down

Mysterio: Good luck. I’ll see you out there.

Mysterio leaves for the ring as Shelton stares off at him.

Shelton: You’ll see. You’ll see.

Shelton then leaves for the ring

JR: The second battle royal of the night is up next, when we return to Friday Night Smackdown.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Justin: The following contest is an over the top rope battle royal, where the winner will go onto the main event tonight to determine the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.

Kane’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: Making his way to the ring, weighing in at 323 pounds, Kane.

Grisham: Welcome back to Smackdown and it’s time for our second battle royal of the night, where the winner will face Chris Jericho in the main event. And I’m sure this man would find facing Chris Jericho a bonus.

JR: Kane defeating Chris Jericho this past Sunday at Unforgiven, but not without some controversy. Kane’s brother the Undertaker caused a distraction as Kane was locked in the Walls of Jericho, which led to Kane winning the match.

Grisham: Jericho has been saying that if it wasn’t for the distraction he would have beaten Kane. I’m sure Kane would love to go to the main event tonight, show Jericho he can beat him fairly, and get a World Title shot on top of it.

Rey Mysterio’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: From San Diego, California, weighing in at 175 pounds, Rey Mysterio.

JR: Speaking of this past Sunday, Unforgiven wasn’t the best night for Rey Mysterio as he last the Intercontinental Title to Shelton Benjamin.

Grisham: Rey shouldn’t be ashamed. That was an amazing match those two had. And like Rey said backstage before the break, it’s time for him to move onto the World Title.

JR: Rey wanted to bring prestige and honor back to the Intercontinental Title and he did just that. He wanted to teach Shelton some respect and he did that. Can Mysterio now win the World Title again?

Umaga’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: From the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 350 pounds, Umaga.

Grisham: Well this man is going to be a chore to get over the top rope. The Samoan Bulldozer can look to use his size to his advantage in this type of match.

JR: We saw the toughness of Umaga at Unforgiven. It took a Flying Chuck Kick, a GTS, and a Swanton Bomb to keep the Samoan Bulldozer down. That shows how tough it is to take out Umaga.

Grisham: I’m sure Umaga would love to have a one-on-one match for the World Title to show how dominant his is. This could be his chance to do so.

John Morrison’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: From Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 219 pounds, John Morrison.

JR: And speaking of the Scramble Match, this man was so close to winning it. If it wasn’t for the Great Khali getting involved, Morrison had a good chance at winning the match.

Grisham: That’s right. We can’t assume he would have won, but it looked like Morrison would’ve hit Starship Pain and come very close to getting the pinfall. But I’m sure we’ll see Morrison in another World Title match soon.

JR: He can earn it tonight. Morrison can get his revenge on Khali and Edge at No Mercy by winning the World Title, but first he has to win here tonight.

Shelton Benjamin’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: And from Orangeburg, South Carolina, weighing in at 248 pounds, he is the Intercontinental Champion, The Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin.

Grisham: And here comes the new Intercontinental Champion. We heard from Shelton before the break. He said that he feels that he’s improved so much and that this is his time to step up to the top.

JR: Winning that Intercontinental Title, mixed with his new found aggression and respect, is really going to bring Shelton far in this business. This could be his ticket to the main event.

Grisham: We saw the respect he has for Rey Mysterio and Shelton has looked better the past few weeks than ever before. Let’s see if he can win this.

Over The Top Rope Battle Royal
Kane vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Umaga vs. John Morrison vs. Shelton Benjamin

-The match starts out as an all out brawl between everyone. After a bit, Umaga and Kane beat the other three up and are left standing face to face. They start to exchange punches and try to eliminate each other. Rey and Shelton come over and start to double team Kane, while Morrison starts punching and kicking Umaga. Umaga hits Morrison with a thrust kick. Umaga then picks Morrison up and tosses him over the top rope but Morrison holds on. Umaga turns around and notices this as Morrison goes to skin the cat. Umaga catches Morrison as he does this. Umaga goes to deliver a Samoan Spike to knock Morrison out but Morrison kicks Umaga's hand and then in the head. Morrison locks his legs around Umaga's head and gets Umaga over the top rope and to the floor with the head scissors to eliminate him. Umaga quickly gets up as Morrison hangs there and delivers a Samoan Spike to Morrison causing him to drop to the floor and being eliminated. In the ring, Shelton and Rey are trying to use their quickness against Kane, but Kane uses his strength to take control of the two. Kane hits a sidewalk slam on Shelton and then grabs Rey by the throat. Kane brings Rey by the ropes and picks him up to Chokeslam him over the top rope but Rey hooks onto the top rope with every limb possible. Kane tries to knock Rey off of the rope and even tries to choke him off. Just then Jericho comes down to the ring. Jericho yells and mocks Kane at ringside. Kane bends over the rope a bit to try and grab Jericho. As this happens, Rey head scissors Kane as Shelton lifts Kane. With the combined effort, Kane goes over the top rope and to the floor to be eliminated. Jericho backs up the ramp smirking at what just happened as Kane looks enraged. Shelton and Rey stare each other down in the ring and then go after each other. The two battle back and forth for awhile in the ring. Towards the end, Shelton is in control. Shelton tosses Rey into the corner and runs at him. Shelton hits the stinger splash and then follows up with a T-bone suplex. Shelton stalks Rey and goes for Pay Dirt but Rey reverses it with a dropkick to the chest, which sends Shelton to the ropes. Rey runs at Shelton, but Shelton ducks and launches Rey over the top rope. Rey holds onto the ropes and lands on the apron. Shelton turns around into a jawbreaker on the ropes which stuns Shelton. Rey gets back in and runs at Shelton, but Shelton counters with a hip toss into a backbreaker. Shelton waits for Rey to get up and goes for a super kick, but Rey catches his foot and spins him around. Shelton goes for the Dragon Whip, but Rey ducks it and hits Shelton with an enzuguiri, which lands Shelton on the second rope. Rey runs off the ropes and connects with the 619 to Shelton. Rey waits for Shelton to get up and goes for the springboard Seated Senton but Shelton catches Rey, reversing the move. Shelton has Rey up in a powerbomb position and goes over to the ropes to toss him over, but Rey reverses it into a hurricanrana which sends Shelton over the top rope and to the floor. Shelton is eliminated which means Rey is the winner.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Justin: Here is your winner, Rey Mysterio

Grisham: What a match. Shelton gave it all he had, but Rey came out victorious this time over him.

JR: I’m impressed by both men once again. And now Mysterio is one step closer to the World Title shot he wants.

Grisham: So now we know that in tonight’s main event, it’ll be Rey Mysterio verses Chris Jericho for the #1 contendership to the World Title. Who will leave here tonight as the new #1 contender to Edge’s World Title? Stay tuned for more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see Kane walking frustrated. Kane has an angry face and keeps hitting things as he walks through the hallway. Kane goes into a dark room and sees his brother the Undertaker there.

Undertaker: Kane.

Kane: What do you want?

Undertaker: The same thing you want.

Kane looks at Undertaker confused

Undertaker: I want to take out Chris Jericho. I saw what happened to you out there and I’m sure you saw what happened to me earlier. I was thinking maybe Chris Jericho needs a visit…from the Brothers of Destruction!

Kane smirks and gives an evil laugh

Kane: I like that idea…brother.

Backstage a reporter is with Rey Mysterio

Reporter: I’m here with Rey Mysterio. Rey, congratulations on winning the battle royal moments ago. Now you will go onto the main event to face Chris Jericho for the #1 contendership to the World Title. What are your thoughts?

Mysterio: First off thank you. And I’d like to tell Shelton Benjamin that he put up a great fight once again. Sunday was his night, but tonight was my night. Earlier I said that I wanted to move onto the World Title now that I’ve completed my goal with the Intercontinental Title. I’m one step closer to that title shot. Just one more challenge to go. Chris Jericho and I have fought before. In fact, we fought earlier on in the year for the Intercontinental Title. We know each other well. This will be a great match tonight. Now I know he and Edge have this new “taking over” plan going, but this match isn’t about that. This match tonight is about a World Heavyweight Championship shot. I plan to give it my all tonight and I plan to walk out tonight the #1 contender to the World Title. So Chris Jericho, get ready for the 6…1…9!

JR: It’s Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho tonight in the main event. Who will face Edge at No Mercy? Don’t go anywhere. Friday Night Smackdown will be right back here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Michelle McCool’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: The following divas contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Alicia Fox, from Palatka, Florida, Michelle McCool.

Grisham: Welcome back to Smackdown and it’s time for some diva action.

JR: Last week, Michelle McCool had her shot at the Women’s Championship, but the champion Melina got the best of her.

Grisham: We’ve been told that Michelle hasn’t been in a happy mood since her loss last week. Let’s see how she reacts to it this week.

Gail Kim’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: And her opponent, from Tampa, Florida, Gail Kim.

JR: And here’s her opponent, a former Women’s Champion, Gail Kim.

Grisham: Last week we saw Gail Kim help out her friend Melina after Alicia Fox started to attack her.

JR: Could Gail Kim be looking to teach Michelle and her protégé a lesson this week?

Michelle McCool vs. Gail Kim
-The match is back and forth the whole time. Towards the end Michelle has control. Michelle tosses Gail off the ropes and connects with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Michelle then sets up for the Faith Breaker, but Gail squirms to prevent her from fully setting it up. Gail then reverses it with a hurricanrana. Gail tosses Michelle into the corner and hits her with a running body attack to the mid section. Gail goes to the top rope as Michelle stumbles to get up. Gail jumps off the top rope and hits Michelle with a flying cross body. The cover, 1...2...Michelle kicks out. Gail picks Michelle up and sets up for the inverted stomp facebreaker called Eat Defeat, but Alicia gets up on the apron and distracts Gail and the referee. Michelle takes advantage of the distraction and not only gets out of Gail's finisher but hits her with a huge kick to the face. Michelle picks Gail up and hits the Faith Breaker on her. The cover, 1...2...3 Michelle wins.
Winner: Michelle McCool

Justin: Here is your winner, Michelle McCool

Grisham: So with a victory here, Michelle McCool is back on the winning end of things and back on her way to a Women’s Title shot.

JR: Michelle is so determined on becoming the first diva to have held both the Diva’s and Women’s Championship. This win was what she needed to get closer to that goal yet again.

Michelle looks down at the fallen Gail Kim with an evil look on her face. She looks over at Alicia on the outside and tells her to do something.

Grisham: What did Michelle just tell Alicia to do?

Alicia walks over by the announce booth and grabs a steel chair. She takes the chair and slides it in to Michelle.

JR: I don’t like the look of this. Don’t do this Michelle.

Michelle takes the steel chair and continuously hits Gail Kim with it.

JR: That’s enough! Someone stop this!

Just then, Melina runs down to the ring to help Gail Kim. Michelle gets out of the ring before Melina can attack her.

Grisham: Thank God Melina showed up. Who knows how long this would have gone on for.

Melina checks on Gail Kim as Michelle and Alicia walk up the ramp looking back at the ring smirking.

JR: I hope Michelle is proud of herself. There was no need for that.

Grisham: I think Michelle is trying to send a message to the Women’s Champion Melina by taking out a friend of the champion. Well still to come tonight is our huge main event. It’s Rey Mysterio verses Chris Jericho for the #1 contendership to the World Heavyweight Title at No Mercy. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Friday Night Smackdown here on My Network TV.

*-----Commercial Break------*

“Scream” by Adelitas Way is playing in the background as the album cover is shown on the screen.

Grisham: Welcome back to Smackdown. You are listening to “Scream” by Adelitas Way off their new self-titled debut album, which is the theme song for our next pay per view No Mercy.

JR: No Mercy is in three weeks and we are going to find out tonight what our main event will be. Edge will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against either Chris Jericho or Rey Mysterio. Will Edge defend against Rey Mysterio who he’s feuded with in the past or will he face his new partner Chris Jericho? We’ll find out the answer to this tonight in our main event when Mysterio and Jericho face off one-on-one.

Backstage a reporter is with Chris Jericho and Edge, who has The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh by his side

Reporter: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m standing here with the World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Chris Jericho. Now I first want to talk to you Jericho about your match coming up next. Earlier on tonight, you won the first five man battle royal after you snuck up behind the Undertaker and eliminated him. Now you’ll go on to face Rey Mysterio in our main event to determine the #1 contender for Edge’s World Title at No Mercy.

Jericho: Snuck up? You make it sound like I cheated my way to victory. What I did was not cheap or desperate. What I did was take advantage. Undertaker was busy with Khali and right by the ropes so I saw my opportunity and took it. And look, it worked of course. You know why? Because I’m the best at what I do today. No one can beat me. Not Kane, not the Undertaker, and certainly not Rey Mysterio. I’ve beaten Mysterio before and I can undeniably do it again. I will beat Rey Mysterio in the main event tonight and then I will go on to No Mercy to face Edge for the World Title, where we will have without question the greatest match in WWE history. Our match will make people forget all about that overrated match at WrestleMania 25 between the two has-beens Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Edge verse Chris Jericho is a match that would be a classic and that all of these parasites should be dying to see. But Theodore Long would never make a match like that because he hates both of us, so why should he put us in a title match against each other? Our alliance has been formed for one night so far and already we are making a difference in the biased decision making. Because of us, the match of the century is not only plausible, but after tonight it’s going to be set in stone to happen at No Mercy.

Reporter: Well since you brought it up, I also wanted to ask you guys about your new alliance.

Edge: What do you want to know that we didn’t make clear earlier? Chris Jericho and I are on a mission to take over Smackdown and rid it of the biased General Manager Theodore Long. We already have me, Chris Jericho, and the Great Khali as part of this movement. The World Heavyweight Champion, the future #1 contender, and the largest and most dominant man in the world today. How can you compete with that? You can’t. And it’s only a matter of time before more people start realizing that we’re right and join us in our mission. We welcome anyone that wants to join with open arms. We are going to be the greatest faction of all time. We will be more dominant than the Nation of Domination. More powerful than the Corporation. More controversial than Degeneration-X. And unlike the nWo, we will succeed in taking over. We are The Revolution!

*-----Commercial Break------*

JR: Welcome back to Friday Night Smackdown and we are ready for our main event.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is to determine the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy.

Chris Jericho’s music plays and the crowd boos

Justin: Introducing first, from Manhasset, New York, weighing in at 226 pounds, Chris Jericho.

Grisham: What an impact this man has made tonight. First, Jericho and Edge announce their new alliance and then he wins the first battle royal to make it to this match.

JR: A great night for Chris Jericho and a win here makes it even better. Jericho and Edge have announced that the Revolution has started. They won’t stop until they take over Smackdown and get rid of the “biased” General Manager Theodore Long.

Grisham: We are told that Edge and Khali are banned from ringside for this match, but I don’t think Jericho feels like he needs them. Jericho is very confident that he’s going to win this match and face Edge at No Mercy in what he says will be the greatest match ever.

Rey Mysterio’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Justin: And his opponent, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 175 pounds, Rey Mysterio.

JR: Well I’m sure this man doesn’t agree with Jericho. Rey Mysterio is looking to once again get his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.

Grisham: Rey may have lost the Intercontinental Title this past Sunday, but he’s turned things around tonight with a whole new set of goals. He won the second battle royal of the night after eliminating the new Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin and now he gets his chance to become the new #1 contender.

JR: These two fought earlier in the year for the Intercontinental Title. Now they meet yet again but now for the #1 contendership to the World Heavyweight Title. Who will go onto No Mercy to face Edge? We’re about to find out.

#1 Contendership for World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy
Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio

-The match starts off with Jericho trash talking Rey in the middle of the ring. Jericho shoves Rey and taunts, but Rey comes back with series of kicks, ending with a dropkick. The match continues as a back and forth contest. Both men pull-off unique reversals and moves on the other. Towards the end, Jericho is in control. Jericho tosses Rey off the ropes. Rey goes for the modified wheel barrel bulldog, but Jericho reverses it into a wheel barrel suplex. Jericho then goes for the Lionsault, but Rey moves. Rey runs and springboards of a ropes and connects with a tornado DDT on Jericho. Rey goes for the cover, 1…2…Jericho kicks out. Rey waits for Jericho to get up and goes for a step-up enzuguiri, but Jericho ducks it, holds onto Rey’s leg, and goes right into the Walls of Jericho. Jericho has it locked in for a bit, but Rey eventually gets to the ropes. Jericho pulls Rey away, but Rey slips underneath Jericho and out of the Walls of Jericho. Jericho struggles to turn Rey back over, but Rey reverses it into a hurricanrana, which sets Jericho up on the second rope. Rey hits the 619 on Jericho and waits on the apron for him to get up. Jericho slowly gets up and Rey goes for the springboard Seated Senton. As Rey is in the air, Jericho pulls the referee in the way of Rey, knocking the referee down and out. Jericho goes for a clothesline on Rey, but Rey ducks underneath and runs toward the ropes. Rey springboards off the ropes towards Jericho, but Jericho hits Rey with the Codebreaker in mid-air. Jericho goes for the cover, but remembers the referee is out. Jericho shakes the referee and yells at him to get up, but the referee doesn’t move. Jericho looks down at Rey and then to the outside. Jericho goes to the outside by the announce booth and grabs a steel chair. Jericho brings the chair into the ring and looks down at the fallen Mysterio. Jericho winds up to hit Rey with the chair, when all of a sudden pyro goes off on the stage and Kane comes out. Jericho gets ready for Kane, but Rey, who is right by his feet, grabs Jericho’s foot. Jericho turns around, shakes Rey off his foot, and kicks him to keep him down. Jericho turns around and sees Kane on the apron. Jericho runs over with the chair to hit him, but Kane grabs Jericho by the throat causing Jericho to drop the chair. Jericho grabs Kane’s arm and drops down with an arm breaker on the ropes. Jericho then picks up the chair and hits Kane with it, knocking him off the apron. Jericho holds the chair up and yells at Kane. Jericho turns around Rey dropkicking the chair into Jericho’s head, which sets Jericho up on the second rope. Rey runs off the ropes and connects with the 619. Rey then connects with a springboard body splash and goes for the pin as the referee is slowly getting up. The cover, 1…2…3 Mysterio wins.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Justin: Here is your winner, Rey Mysterio

JR: Rey’s done it! Rey is going to No Mercy to face Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Grisham: In the beginning of the night, Mysterio set a new list of goals. He can check off becoming the #1 contender and now look towards his next task of becoming the World Champion once again.

As Mysterio celebrates, Jericho picks up the chair in the ring. Mysterio turns around right into a huge chair shot to the head by Jericho.

JR: Oh My God! Jericho just annihilated Rey Mysterio with that chair during his celebration. What a bitter man Jericho is.

Grisham: Jericho obviously upset that Kane came down during the match and he’s taking it out on Mysterio.

Kane then gets in the ring and attacks Jericho.

JR: Well speaking of Kane, here he is again. Kane has every right to attack Jericho after what Jericho did earlier tonight.

Grisham: Earlier tonight, Jericho cost Kane his chance at winning the battle royal. Now Kane returned the favor by costing Jericho the #1 contendership.

Kane grabs Jericho by the throat for a Chokeslam, but before he can perform the move The Great Khali comes down to the ring and attacks Kane from behind.

JR: Kane gets his payback on Jericho with that Chokeslam, but here comes The Great Khali to protect Jericho.

Grisham: Jericho’s new partner’s body guard coming out I’m sure by Edge’s orders.

Khali and Jericho punch and stomp on Kane. Just then the lights go out. The lights come back on and the Undertaker is in the ring.

JR: Uh oh! Jericho better watch out because here’s the Undertaker.

Grisham: The Phenom wants a piece of Jericho also. We heard him and Kane talking about it earlier.

Undertaker takes Jericho out with a big boot. Undertaker then hits Khali with a fury of punches, backing him up to the ropes, and ultimately getting Khali caught in the ropes.

Grisham: Khali’s caught in the ropes. Jericho’s left all by himself.

Undertaker turns around and grabs Jericho by the throat for a Chokeslam.

JR: Chokeslam time. Undertaker is about to take out Jericho once again.

Just then Edge comes down to the ring. Undertaker turns around with the grip still on Jericho, but he gets hit with a Spear by Edge.

JR: Spear! Undertaker never saw it coming.

Grisham: Edge just saved his new partner right before he was about to get a Chokeslam.

Edge goes over to Khali and helps him out of the ropes. The three of them then beat up on Kane and Undertaker.

Grisham: And now the numbers game comes into play.

Khali lifts Kane up, grabs him by the throat, and hits him with the Punjabi Plunge. Jericho then stalks Undertaker and hits him with the Codebreaker. Kane and Undertaker are down and out as Jericho, Edge, and Khali stand tall.

JR: The Brothers of Destruction have been taken out by this new alliance.

Grisham: I’m sure this is not how Kane and Undertaker planned on this going down.

Jericho and Khali leave the ring, but Edge stops as he sees out of the corner of his eye Mysterio slowly getting up.

Grisham: What’s Edge doing?

Edge stalks Mysterio and delivers a devastating Spear to him. Edge stands tall over Mysterio and screams in his face that he won’t beat him at No Mercy.

JR: What a Spear. The World Heavyweight Champion sending a direct message straight to the new #1 contender.

Grisham: Is this a prelude to what could happen at No Mercy?

Edge gets out of the ring and joins Jericho and Khali on the ramp. The three of them raise their arms in victory as they look on at the destruction in the ring.

Grisham: We started off the night with these three men introducing their new alliance and their plan to take over Smackdown. And now we end Smackdown with them standing tall.

JR: This is going to be a group to watch out for and could change the face of Smackdown forever. We have just seen the start of The Revolution.

Grisham: Thank you for joining us here tonight on My Network TV for Friday Night Smackdown. Goodnight.

The Revolution!!!!!!!!! Wow, I like this idea your having right now. You have Jericho and Edge as a team which I love, and Khali as a bodyguard. That gives him something to do.You kinda hinted at Ziggler joining the Revolution which would be sick dude. Ziggler like Jericho and Edge he seems T-Long doesn't trust him or what to give him the spotlight he deserves. I'm calling that Ziggler does join Revolution, in a few weeks. The main event IMO was very obvious. Can't wait to see the promos you produce with Edge and Rey Rey bc they have great feuds IRL. Can the Revolution take control of SD! Unless guys like Kane and Undertaker can stop them, but I don't think that will happen. Good show bro.

Raw Preview:

Last week on Raw, we saw Randy Orton and Matt Hardy defeat Batista and the new WWE Champion John Cena in our tag team main event. This week, that match is broken up into two singles matches. Our first match will be Matt Hardy going one-on-one with the WWE Champion John Cena. Even though it’s a non-titled match, this could be one of the biggest matches in Matt Hardy’s career thus far. With both men looking to gain momentum towards No Mercy, who will come out on top? And the second match will be Randy Orton verses Batista. The former Evolution partners will face off in our main event. Both men have their mind set on their matches at No Mercy, with Batista counting down the days until he can get his hands on Matt Hardy and Randy Orton waiting to regain “his” WWE Championship that he claims he never should have lost. Who will gain an edge going towards No Mercy?

Legacy’s Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes had a huge night last week. First, Priceless defeated the Colons in a great tag match for the Tag Team Championship. Afterwards backstage, Priceless taunted Triple H with their titles and the fact that they beat him up the previous week. After Triple H’s match, Priceless came down and attacked the Game. Later that night as DiBiase and Rhodes came down to help Legacy leader Randy Orton, Triple H came to the ring and helped John Cena clear the ring of Legacy. This week on Raw, Triple H will go one-on-one with one half of the Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes with his partner Ted DiBiase at ringside. Will Triple H finally get his revenge on Priceless or will they continue to dominate the Game?

Lately, a lot has been happening in the United States Title division. New contenders such as The Miz, Kofi Kingston, The Brian Kendrick, and Chavo Guerrero are now battling towards a title shot, while the United States Champion has another problem to deal with. Last week on Raw, MVP had the Big Show on the V.I.P. Lounge. Big Show didn’t take to kindly to MVP rubbing in the fact that he has the United States Title and Big Show has nothing. Big Show smacked the United States Title to the floor and went to attack him, but MVP was able to take out the Big Show instead. On WWE Superstars, MVP looked to have the match won against The Miz, when Kendrick came down and distracted MVP. Kofi then came down to get rid of Kendrick, but that caused the distraction to allow Big Show to come to the ring and deliver a Knockout Punch to the gut of MVP, which sent him back into the Skull Crushing Finale, and allowed The Miz to pick up the win against the United States Champion. This week on Raw, the Big Show will face off against Kofi Kingston. What will happen between Big Show and MVP, and what will become of the United States Title division?

All of this and more this week on Monday Night Raw on the USA Network.

Raw 9/21/09

WWE Signature Video is shown

A reap video is shown from last week of Raw. It shows Orton coming down to the ring at the beginning of Raw. We here Orton explain what happened at Unforgiven in the Scramble Match as clips from the match are shown. We then go back to Orton complaining about losing the title because of Kennedy. Cena then comes out, raises his title, and tells Orton that he won the title fairly and Orton has no one to blame but himself. Orton tells Cena that he’s using his rematch clause at No Mercy and then walks away. We cut to the main event tag match between Cena and Batista verses Matt and Orton. Clips from the match are shown. The ending is shown where Matt delivers a jawbreaker on the ropes to Cena and Orton connects with the RKO for the three count. Batista then runs after Matt and they brawl through the audience to the back. Orton stalks Cena for an RKO but Cena pushes him off and goes for an Attitude Adjustment. Priceless comes down and saves Orton. Triple H comes down and attacks Priceless. Cena and Triple H clear the ring of Legacy. Cena and Triple H stand tall in the ring ready to fight as Legacy walks up the ramp beaten.

Raw Opening Video is shown as “…To Be Loved” by Papa Roach is playing

Pyro goes off and the crowd goes wild

Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Raw. Michael Cole here along side Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. We are two weeks away from No Mercy and what a night we have for you.

King: That’s right Michael. Tonight we’re going to see Matt Hardy go one-on-one with the WWE Champion John Cena in a non-titled match. This is going to be a huge opportunity for Matt Hardy here tonight. Imagine if he could beat the champ? He would have so much momentum and confidence going into No Mercy for his match.

Cole: And speaking of No Mercy, both of their No Mercy opponents will be in action tonight against each other in our main event. It will be Randy Orton taking on Batista here tonight. Will the Viper pick up yet another main event win this week, or will the Animal get even from last week’s tag match?

Batista’s music plays and the crowd cheers

King: Speaking of the Animal, here he is now.

Lilian: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring, the Animal, Batista.

Cole: Last week we saw Batista backstage talking to our General Manager Vickie Guerrero about a match against Matt Hardy. Batista was not happy with how their match ended at Unforgiven, so Vickie made a match between them for our next pay per view No Mercy.

King: And to make sure Unforgiven doesn’t happen again, she made it a No Disqualification match. Things are going to get crazy between Batista and Matt Hardy at No Mercy.

Cole: Things already got crazy last week after the main event when we saw Batista chase Matt Hardy down and the two started brawling in the audience. Let’s see what the Animal has to say.

Batista gets in the ring and grabs a microphone

Batista: Last month, a punk by the name of Matt Hardy interrupted me during my backstage interview. He said that he was better than me and that he would go onto Unforgiven to win the WWE Championship. Now after losing his qualifying match, he took it upon himself to interfere in my qualifying match and screw me out of my shot at the WWE Championship at Unforgiven. Why? Because he thinks that I hog the spot light. He thinks that I prevent guys like him from becoming a star in this business. He also said that I get everything handed to me and that I don’t deserve any of it. I will admit that Evolution helped elevate my career, but it was because of my skills that made me into the star that I am today. It’s because of my hard work that I’ve won the World Title. Matt, you’ve been in the WWE much longer than me. So before I came in to this company, what was your excuse for not getting to the top? Is it that everyone stands in your way? Or maybe it’s that you’re just not good enough. Matt, don’t blame me for the fact that you’ve never been a World Champion. Blame yourself. Now at Unforgiven, we went one-on-one, and just when it seemed that I was about to put you away and win the match, you get yourself disqualified. You hit me with a steel chair and continued to attack me. You finished your attack off with a Twist of Fate on the arena floor. You made your statement to the world. But you also made a big mistake. You made me angry. You’ve enraged an Animal. And now at No Mercy, when it’s me and you in a No Disqualification match, there will be nothing stopping me from giving you the beating you deserve. Unforgiven isn’t going to happen again. At No Mercy, I’m going to finish what I started.

Just then, Matt Hardy’s music plays and the crowd boos

Cole: Well here comes Matt Hardy now. I wonder what his take is on Batista’s comments.

King: Matt can’t be too pleased with what the Animal just said about him.

Matt stands on the titantron with a microphone.

Matt: I couldn’t sit back there any longer watching you bore everyone to death and filling their minds with complete crap. Why wasn’t I ever a World Champion? Maybe because I didn’t have Triple H and Ric Flair pushing me to the top. I didn’t kiss the ass of former World Champions to get me to be a star. I worked hard each and every week. I started from the bottom up, unlike you. I started out in the tag team division with my brother, fighting in grueling Ladder and TLC matches. Taking chances that could shorten or end my career just to get noticed. No one ever offered to help me. I gave my all every single week. And what did I get in return? Nothing. Not a World Title shot, not a main event match, not even a simple pat on the back. No one has respect for all I’ve done for this company. Instead, all of these people cheer you and you get handed title shots and main event matches. I’m sure if I was nothing but a muscle-head and had a top guy pushing me I would have been World Champion already. That’s why people like you make me sick. I want to teach you and everyone a lesson. I want to show everyone that I am the real deal and that I should be at the top and not you.

Batista: You know Matt, you’re pretty far away. Why don’t you come down here and say that to my face. For weeks, you’ve been running away and attacking me from behind. Come down here and fight me face-to-face.

Matt: I’m not going to do that.

Batista: Well then I’m going to come up there.

Matt: Ok, but before you do that you might want to know something. You see, I was talking to Vickie Guerrero earlier about you attacking me last week. I told her that I don’t feel safe with you trying to attack me week after week when we have a match coming up at the pay per view. So she made it official that if you touch me before No Mercy, then you are immediately suspended.

Batista looks pissed as Matt smirks.

Cole: That’s not fair. Of course Matt would do something like this.

King: Batista is not happy about that decision. He can’t wait for No Mercy. He wants to rip apart Matt Hardy now.

Just then, Vickie Guerrero’s music plays and she comes out and stops Matt from leaving.

Vickie: Hold on Matt. Now yes it’s true that if Batista hits Matt Hardy then he is immediately suspended. But Matt, if you hit Batista, then you will also be immediately suspended.

Matt: What! That wasn’t part of the deal. We didn’t discuss that.

Vickie: It’s only fair Matt and the decision is final. The two of you will have to wait until No Mercy to settle this. But that’s in two weeks. Tonight, you both have matches. I suggest that you two go get ready.

Matt is furious as Batista points at Matt and yells at him “two weeks!”

Cole: Why what an announcement. Neither man can touch the other until their match at No Mercy. That will certainly change things around here.

King: Batista looks like he’s ready to beat the hell out of Matt Hardy. Imagine all that built up anger he’s going to have at No Mercy. I wouldn’t want to be Matt Hardy come No Mercy.

Cole: That’s going to be a great and brutal match, but let’s talk about tonight. Both men will be in action. It will be Matt Hardy taking on the WWE Champion John Cena, and Batista squares off against Randy Orton. What a night it’s going to be. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

As we come back from commercial break, a replay video is shown from WWE Superstars last week. It shows the match between MVP and The Miz. We see some short clips from the end. It shows MVP going for the Playmaker but Kendrick coming down and distracting him. Kofi then comes out and attacks Kendrick. As the referee is distracted, Big Show comes down and delivers a Knockout Punch to MVP, and MVP falls back into the Skull Crushing Finale by the Miz. Miz gets the pin. We see Miz walking up the ramp with Kendrick as Big Show stands over MVP.

Big Show’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 485 pounds, the Big Show.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw as the World’s Largest Athlete makes his way to the ring. We saw moments ago on the replay video how Big Show cost MVP his match on WWE Superstars last week.

King: Well last week on Raw, we saw Big Show as a guest on the V.I.P. Lounge. On the V.I.P. Lounge, Big Show wasn’t pleased with what MVP was saying about him so he smacked his United States Title to the floor and went to attack him, but MVP was the one that took out the Big Show.

Cole: Big Show was not happy about that event so he attacked MVP during his match against The Miz and stood tall over him, looking proudly at his destruction.

Kofi Kingston’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from Jamaica, weighing in at 218 pounds, Kofi Kingston.

Cole: And here comes the ever exciting Kofi Kingston, but Kofi has his work cut out for him tonight.

King: Yes he does. There is a distinct size difference between the two. Kofi needs to use his quickness if he wants any chance at beating the Big Show, or at least coming out of this match alive.

Cole: On WWE Superstars, we saw Kofi come out to take out Kendrick who caused the initial distraction to MVP. Kofi has had his problems with The Miz recently, but he hopes to move towards a U.S. Title shot soon.

Big Show vs. Kofi Kingston
-The match starts with Big Show trying to corner Kofi, but Kofi uses his quickness to get out of the way. Kofi connects with a bunch of kicks but Big Show seems un-phased and just shoves Kofi to the ground. Big Show continues to dominate the match with power moves on Kofi. At a point, Big Show goes to end the match with the Knockout Punch but Kofi ducks it and then continuously kicks the hand of Big Show. Big Show holds his hand in pain as Kofi hits him with two dropkicks that sends him into the corner. Kofi runs and leaps up on the Big Show and starts punching him. Big Show grabs Kofi and backs out of the corner in a powerbomb position. Big Show tosses Kofi over his head towards the corner, but Kofi lands on the ropes. Kofi springboards off and connects with a kick to the face which stumbles Big Show. Kofi runs off the ropes and delivers a chop block to both legs of the Big Show sends him to the ground. Big Show sits up but Kofi hits him with a running low dropkick to the face. Kofi gets fired up, goes off the ropes, and hits the Boom Drop. The cover, 1...2...Big Show kicks out with authority. Kofi taunts and stalks Big Show. Big Show gets up and Kofi goes for Trouble In Paradise., but Big Show swats him out of the way with power. Kofi goes flying back and the back of his head hits the bottom turnbuckle in the corner. The referee checks on Kofi and backs Big Show up. As this is happening, MVP comes down to the ring. He gets in the ring and waits for Big Show to turn around. MVP hits Big Show with his U.S. Title and then runs out before the referee saw him. As Big Show stumbles from the belt shot, Kofi gets up and hits Big Show with Trouble In Paradise. The cover, 1...2...3 Kofi wins.
Winner: Kofi Kingston

Lilian: Here is your winner, Kofi Kingston.

Cole: What a win by Kofi Kingston. The Jamaican Superstar just defeated the World’s Largest Athlete.

King: Well you have to give the assist to MVP. The belt to the head of Big Show stunned him enough to allow Kofi to hit Trouble In Paradise and get the victory.

Kofi Kingston gets out of the ring and walks up the ramp with MVP. Both men walk backwards up the ramp looking on at an enraged Big Show.

Cole: King, look at the Big Show. He is furious about what just happened.

King: That is one angry giant. I would not want to be MVP right now.

Just then, The Brian Kendrick and The Miz run down the ramp and attack Kofi & MVP from behind.

Cole: Miz and Kendrick with the sneak attack. Miz and Kendrick have had their problems with Kofi as of late and obviously both of them want a shot at the United States Title.

Miz and Kendrick throw MVP and Kofi in the ring with the Big Show. Miz, Kendrick, and Big Show surround MVP and Kofi.

King: Uh oh. They’re trapped now. This doesn’t look good for MVP and Kofi Kingston.

Miz, Kendrick, and Big Show beat up on MVP and Kofi

Cole: And now it’s a three on two assault. This is too much.

Just then, Chavo Guerrero comes running down to the ring and starts to take out Miz and Kendrick.

King: Here’s Chavo Guerrero to even up the odds. Thank god.

Chavo turns around right into a Knockout Punch by Big Show.

Cole: Oh my god. What a punch. Chavo’s out cold.

Kendrick and Miz get back on the attack on MVP and Kofi. Kendrick hits The Kendrick on MVP and Miz delivers the Skull Crushing Finale to Kofi.

King: And now Kendrick and Miz take out Kofi and the U.S. Champion.

Miz and Kendrick stand tall with Big Show. Miz and Kendrick then turn around into Big Show grabbing them both by the throat and delivering a massive double Chokeslam.

Cole: Big Show just took out Miz and Kofi. Big Show has no allies. He only looks out for himself and wanted to deliver a message to everyone, including Miz and Kendrick.

Big Show looks down at MVP. Big Show picks MVP up and delivers a Chokeslam to him. Big Show grabs the United States Title, looks at it, and then drops it on MVP.

King: Well that was Big Show sending a direct message to MVP. Does Big Show want a shot at the United States Title now?

Cole: I don’t see why not. I’m sure Big Show wants to take the gold away from MVP. Big Show is on a path of destruction. Everyone in that ring, especially the United States Champion, needs to take notice and watch out for the World’s Largest Athlete being in their way. Well still to come tonight we will see WWE Champion go one-on-one in a non-titled match against Matt Hardy, and we will also see Randy Orton take on Batista in our main event. Stay tuned for more Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Cole: Welcome back to Raw. Last week on Raw, we saw Priceless not only become he new Tag Team Champions but they attacked Triple H after his match for the second week in a row. Let’s take a look back at what happened.

A video package is shown from last week on Raw. It shows Priceless defeating the Colons for the Tag Team Titles. It then shows Priceless backstage with their titles being congratulated by Randy Orton. Priceless then sees Triple H backstage and taunts him with their titles and the fact that they beat him up last week. As this is being said, clips from the attack are shown from the previous Raw. It then cuts back to Triple H saying he was going to get back at Priceless soon enough. The video shows Triple H winning his match but then being immediately attacked by Priceless afterwards and then DiBiase saying not to mess with them since they are the greatest tag tem today. The video ends with Rhodes saying “be careful of what you say to us. Because like the last two weeks, it will be Game Over for you!” as DiBiase and Rhodes stand tall.

Backstage a reporter is with Priceless

Reporter: I’m here with the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Priceless. Now guys, first off congratulations on winning the Tag Team Titles last week on Raw against the Colons, but that wasn’t the only thing we saw you guys do last week. We also saw you two taunt and then attack Triple H. Now because of that, you Cody Rhodes will face Triple H in just a few moments. What is your take on this match and why did you attack Triple H last week?

DiBiase: Let me tell you and everyone else something. We are the single greatest tag team today. Being the Tag Team Champions only solidifies that fact. And if anyone feels that they’re better than us, then challenge us and put us to the test. Because we guarantee that no one can beat us and that there’s not a more dominant tag team in the WWE today. Now onto Triple H. The question on everyone’s mind is why did we attack him last week after his match? I guess no one remembered the fact that Triple H provoked us. He said that we were Randy Orton’s lackeys and practically called us out by saying he was going to get us back sooner or later. So instead of sitting there waiting for him to come to us, we decided to bring the fight to him on our terms.

Rhodes: Triple H is simply jealous of us. He’s jealous of how successful our careers have been in Legacy. He’s jealous that we have gold and he doesn’t. And he’s especially jealous that his former protégé Randy Orton has not only surpassed him but even created a greater and more powerful group than Triple H ever has. The Legacy is better than Degeneration-X and Evolution ever were. Now tonight, I’ve been chosen to face Triple H one-on-one. Triple H is going to get a taste of how great Legacy is and show him that we’re not only the best tag team in the world, but we’re both rising singles stars that will one day take the spotlight away from Triple H. And Hunter, we know you want you’re revenge on the both of us so bad so we’re issuing you a challenge. We’re challenging you and a partner of your choosing to face us at No Mercy in two weeks. But just know that no matter who you get to be your partner, you will fall to the Legacy. Because we are the greatest tag team today. We are the Tag Team Champions. We are simply Priceless!

Cole: It’ll be Triple H verses Cody Rhodes next, when we return to Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Legacy’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Ted DiBiase, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 219 pounds, one half of the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. We see Priceless making their way to the ring as Cody Rhodes gets ready to face the Game, Triple H.

King: Cody Rhodes looks ready for this match. Well before the commercial break, we heard some comments by Rhodes and DiBiase about the tag team division and mostly Triple H.

Cole: That’s right. The Tag Team Champions challenged Triple H to a match at No Mercy with a partner of his choosing. Priceless seem really confident about this match and it seems like they think they’re better than Triple H.

Triple H’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 255 pounds, Triple H.

King: I’m sure the Game doesn’t think Priceless is better than him. And I guarantee he doesn’t think Legacy is better than D-X and Evolution were.

Cole: For the past two weeks, Priceless has attacked Triple H from behind. At the end of last week, Triple H joined John Cena in the ring and cleared the ring of all of Legacy. Triple H can’t wait to get his revenge on Rhodes and DiBiase.

King: Right now he gets to start his revenge as he takes on one half of the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes. But Triple H has to be thinking about that huge challenge by Priceless right now.

Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes (w/ Ted DiBiase)
-The match is back and forth the whole time. Towards the end Rhodes is in control. Rhodes knees Triple H in the gut and hits a running swinging neckbreaker. The cover, 1...2...Triple H kicks out. Rhodes stomps on Triple H as he tries to get up. Rhodes lifts Triple H up and tosses him off the ropes. Rhodes bends down for a back body drop but Triple H counters with a kick to Rhodes. Rhodes stands there holding his chest as Triple H goes off the ropes. Triple H goes for a clothesline but Rhodes ducks it and turns Triple H right around into a snap DDT. The cover, 1...2...Triple H kicks out. Rhodes goes for the Cross Rhodes but Triple H reverses it. Triple H pushes Rhodes off the ropes and he comes back into a Double A Spine Buster but Triple H. Triple H goes off the ropes and hits a knee drop on Rhodes. The cover, 1...2...Rhodes kicks out. Triple H lifts Rhodes up and goes for a Pedigree but Rhodes slips out of it. Rhodes kicks Triple H in the gut, goes to the top rope, and hits a moonsault on Triple H. The cover, 1...2...Triple H kicks out. Rhodes stands in the corner waiting for Triple H to get up. When Triple H gets up, Rhodes springboards off the second rope for a cross body, but Triple H kicks him in the gut as he comes down. Triple H sets up for the Pedigree, but DiBiase gets on the apron and starts yelling at Triple H. Triple H gets distracted which allows Rhodes to get out of the Pedigree and chop block Triple H's leg. Rhodes then quickly grabs Triple H and hits the Cross Rhodes. The cover, 1...2...3 Rhodes wins.
Winner: Cody Rhodes

Lilian: Here is your winner, Cody Rhodes.

Cole: Wow. Cody Rhodes just pinned Triple H. I hate to say it, but Priceless is truly dominant right now. They may be the greatest tag team in wrestling today.

King: Legacy has done so much for both of these men and we just saw the impact Randy Orton has had on their careers. These two really are the future of this company, whether you like it or not.

Cole: So now the question is will Triple H accept the challenge made by the Tag Team Champions? Hopefully we’ll get an answer to that soon. Well still to come tonight we will see the WWE Champion John Cena face off against the “Black Cloud” Matt Hardy. And in our main event, it will be the #1 contender Randy Orton taking on the “Animal” Batista. All of that and more when we return to Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Backstage we see Vickie Guerrero in her office when the Big Show comes in pissed off.

Vickie: Big Show. What can I do for you?

Big Show: What can you do for me? Did you see what happened out there? MVP cost me my match. He came out and attacked me with the United States Title. It was clear as day. If it wasn’t for that, I would’ve beaten Kofi easily. Is that how you want your champions to act? MVP doesn’t deserve to be United States Champion. You should strip him of that title right now.

Vickie: I’m not going to do that Show. Yes he cost you your match, but I seem to recall last week on WWE Superstars you did the same to him. I think now you’re even.

Big Show: Even? I came out last week on WWE Superstars to return the favor from his attack on the V.I.P. Lounge last week on Raw. As far as I’m concerned, that attack tonight by MVP was unwarranted and cowardly. He’s setting a poor example for you as your United States Champion.

Vickie: I’m still not stripping him of the title.

Big Show: Then give me a shot at him and the United States Title. I’ll give that title the respect that it deserves.

Vickie: Big Show, I just can’t give you the title shot. There are a lot of other wrestlers waiting in line for a shot at the United States Title and I can’t deny them because you want revenge on MVP. You’re going to have to earn your shot.

Big Show: Earn it? Did you see what I did before? I took your “other challengers” and I took them all out, including the United States Champion. As far as I’m concerned, I’m the rightful number one contender to the United States Title. None of those puny men you call the “United States Title division” can even come close to being as great as me. I’m the World’s Largest Athlete. I think that says it all.

Vickie: All of that doesn’t matter. Yes you were dominant tonight, but Kofi Kingston did pick up the victory over you, The Miz has a victory over the United States Champion, and The Brian Kendrick and Chavo Guerrero shouldn’t be overlooked. So this is what I’m going to do. This Thursday on WWE Superstars we will have a five man battle royal between you, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, The Brian Kendrick, and Chavo Guerrero. The winner of that match will go onto No Mercy to face MVP for the United States Championship.

Big Show: Ok. If that’s what I have to do to get a shot then fine. Prepare to watch me dominate on WWE Superstars. Oh, and I won’t feel responsible if I have to completely take out the entire United States Title division just to get to MVP and that title.

Big Show walks out of Vickie office

Matt Hardy’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following non-titled contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 236 pounds, Matt Hardy.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. Here comes the “Black Cloud” Matt Hardy getting ready for what could be one of the biggest matches of his career.

King: Even though it’s a non-titled match, a victory over the Champ John Cena can send Matt Hardy right to the top like he wants. Matt could be well on his way to earning it that main event spot that started his whole rivalry with Batista.

Cole: Well in two weeks, Matt Hardy will go one-on-one with Batista in a No Disqualification Match. Can Matt keep the momentum rolling from his tag team victory last week to No Mercy?

John Cena’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And his opponent, from West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, John Cena.

King: The Champ Is Here! Cena looks focused and ready to fight tonight.

Cole: I’m sure Cena wants to make up for being pinned last week in the main event just one night after winning the WWE Championship. Cena will bounce back though. Never count out the WWE Champion.

King: Well Cena’s going to have to defend his newly won title in two weeks at No Mercy against the former champion Randy Orton. But Cena can’t look past Matt Hardy here tonight.

Matt Hardy vs. John Cena
-The match is an even match-up the whole time. Towards the end, Matt has control. Matt is on the second rope and hits Cena with an elbow to the head. Matt lifts Cena up and tosses him in the corner. Matt runs at Cena and connects with his clothesline to a bulldog combination. The cover, 1...2...Cena kicks out. Matt goes for a Twist of Fate but Cena gets out of it and delivers a hip toss to Matt. Matt gets up and Cena hits him with a shoulder block. Matt gets up and again Cena hits him with a shoulder block. Cena then connects with a spin-out powerbomb. Cena taunts and delivers the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena taunts and stalks Matt as he gets up. Cena lifts Matt up for the Attitude Adjustment but Matt gets out of it with elbows to Cena's head. Matt turns Cena around and hits the Side Effect. The cover, 1...2...Cena kicks out. Matt goes to the top rope and jumps off for a leg drop but Cena moves out of the way. Cena gets up and stalks Matt. Cena lifts Matt up for the Attitude Adjustment and goes for the move, but Matt is able to get a front facelock and swings forward, landing on his feet in position for a Twist of Fate. Matt goes for the Twist of Fate but Cena pushes him off. Matt comes back with a punch to Cena which stuns him. Matt goes to kick Cena in the gut but Cena catches his foot. Cena performs a dragon screw to Matt and gets him on his stomach. Cena locks in the STF on Matt. Matt struggles for the ropes but Cena pulls him back to the center of the ring and locks it in again. Matt finally taps out to the STF, making Cena the winner.
Winner: John Cena

Lilian: Here is your winner, John Cena.

Cole: What a match by both men, but in the end John Cena showed Matt Hardy why he’s the Champ.

King: Cena makes up for getting pinned last week by Randy Orton. Now the question is will John Cena be able to retain that title against Randy Orton when No Mercy comes along.

Cole: Cena has never backed down from a challenge and always brings one hell of a fight to his opponents. Will Orton suffer the same fate that Matt Hardy did tonight?

Backstage Triple H is walking when he’s caught up by a reporter.

Reporter: Triple H. Earlier tonight we heard Priceless issue a challenge to you regarding a tag team match against them at No Mercy. Do you have an answer for them?

Triple H: Rhodes. DiBiase. You want a fight, you’ve got a fight. At No Mercy, it’s payback for everything you’ve done to me.

Reporter: Any thought as to who you’re partner might be?

Triple H: I have a few people in mind for a partner. Me and my partner, whoever that may be, will show those punks DiBiase and Rhodes that they aren’t the greatest tag team and that Legacy is far from the greatest faction ever in WWE history. Just wait for No Mercy guys. In two weeks, it’s Game On!

*-----Commercial Break------*

Beth Phoenix’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: The following divas contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, being accompanied by Rosa Mendes, from Buffalo, New York, Beth Phoenix, the Glamazon.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw and King are you ready for some diva action?

King: You know I am Michael. Here comes the perfect combination strength and beauty, the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix.

Cole: Rosa Mendes coming out with Beth Phoenix. Last week Rosa lost to Mickie James. I’m sure she’s not too happy about that, and neither is Beth probably.

Maryse’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: Her partner, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the Diva’s Champion, Maryse.

Cole: And here’s the Diva’s Champion. Last week, we saw Maryse attack Mickie James backstage with the Diva’s Title to the back of the skull.

King: Maryse seems to be sending a message to Mickie James that she’s not going to be able to beat her.

Cole: Well we’ll see how things go between the two rivals from here.

Bella Twins’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: And their opponents, from Scottsdale, Arizona, Brie and Nikki, the Bella Twins.

Cole: The Bella Twins have a huge opportunity here. If they can beat Beth Phoenix and the Diva’s Champion that could be the biggest win of their careers so far.

King: And it could lead them towards a future Diva’s Title shot.

Cole: Yes it could King. Let’s get ready for this diva tag match.

Maryse & Beth Phoenix vs. Brie & Nikki Bella
-Most of the match is dominated by Maryse and Beth. They get cocky at a point, which allowed the Bellas to take control of the match. Towards the end, Nikki and Beth are the legal divas in the match. Nikki hits a dropkick on Beth and then follows up with a flying mare. Nikki goes to go off the ropes, but Rosa gets on the apron. Rosa and Nikki argue by the ropes. Beth runs at Nikki to take advantage of the distraction, but Nikki moves and Beth knocks into Rosa by accident. Nikki rolls Beth up, 1...2…Beth kicks out. They both get up and Beth connects with a powerful clothesline on Nikki. Beth lifts Nikki up and tosses her into a corner. Beth charges at Nikki, but Nikki kicks Beth as she comes at her. Nikki then springboards off the second rope and hits a flying crossbody. Nikki and Beth crawl to their corners. They both get the tag and in comes Brie and Maryse. Brie ducks a clothesline by Maryse, goes off the ropes, and connects with a bulldog. Brie goes for a cover, 1…2…Beth breaks it up. Nikki comes running in and starts delivering forearms to Beth. Brie and Nikki then do a double dropkick to Beth, which sends Beth out of the ring and to the floor. Nikki turns around into a heel kick by Maryse. Brie goes right on the attack on Maryse. Brie hits a low dropkick on Maryse and then follows up with a neckbreaker. Brie goes to the top rope and waits for Maryse to get up. Brie jumps and goes for a missile dropkick, but Maryse moves and Brie hits the canvas hard. Maryse quickly grabs Brie and hits the French Kiss. The cover, 1…2…3 Maryse wins it for her team.
Winner: Maryse & Beth Phoenix

Lilian: Here are your winners, Beth Phoenix and Maryse.

Cole: A nice win by the Diva’s Champion and the Glamazon. The Bellas put up a good fight, but it was too much for them.

King: Maryse really showed us why she’s the Diva’s Champion right now.

Maryse, Beth Phoenix, and Rosa Mendes continue to beat down on the Bella Twins in the ring.

Cole: Oh come on. Is this really necessary? You won the match already. Stop this!

Just then, Mickie James and Kelly Kelly come down to the ring.

King: Here we go. Mickie James and Kelly Kelly coming to even things out and help the Bellas.

Mickie, Kelly, and the Bellas clear the ring of Maryse, Beth, and Rosa.

Cole: Looks like the tables got turned on Maryse, Beth Phoenix, and Rosa Mendes.

King: They do not look pleased at what just happened.

Mickie points at Maryse and signals around her waist for the belt. Maryse walks up the ramp pissed and yelling at Mickie that she’ll never have the Diva’s Title.

Cole: Especially Maryse. She’s furious right now, yelling at Mickie James.

King: Mickie’s signaling that she wants that Diva’s Title.

Cole: I’m sure Mickie will get another shot soon. Maryse better watch out. Still to come tonight is our main event between Randy orton and Batista. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back with more Monday Night Raw.

*-----Commercial Break------*

In the background “Scream” by Adelitas Way is playing as the album cover is shown on the screen

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw and you are listening to the official theme song for No Mercy. It’s “Scream” by Adelitas Way off their self-titled debut album. We are just two weeks away from No Mercy and what a pay per view this is shaping up to be.

King: That’s right Michaels. We have four matches announced for Raw. We will see the confrontation between “The Animal” Batista and “The Black Cloud” Matt Hardy in a No Disqualification Match.

Cole: This rivalry started back a month ago when Matt Hardy interrupted Batista’s interview and cost him his shot at the Scramble Match. At Unforgiven we saw them go one-on-one, but when Matt Hardy saw that it might have been the end for him, he hit Batista with a steel chair, which caused the disqualification. To ensure this doesn’t happen again, General Manager Vickie Guerrero has made this rematch No DQ. Will Matt Hardy be able to survive this match against the enraged Animal?

King: We found out tonight that MVP will put the United States Title on the line at No Mercy. But the question is who will be his opponent.

Cole: The United States Title division is really shaping up. Big Show earlier demanded a match against MVP for his title, but Vickie Guerrero did the fair thing and made a #1 contenders match. This Thursday on WWE Superstars we will see who will face MVP. Will it be Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Chavo Guerrero, The Brian Kendrick, or the Big Show?

King: The challenge has been accepted. It will be the Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase verses Triple H and a partner of his choosing.

Cole: For two weeks, Priceless attacked Triple H from behind. They finally issued the challenge tonight against Triple H. Priceless says they are the greatest tag team in WWE today. Can the Tag Team Champions back that up? And who will Triple H chose as his tag team partner to take out Priceless?

King: And our main event. It will be Randy Orton verses John Cena for the WWE Championship.

Cole: Orton claims that he was screwed out of the title at Unforgiven because Mr. Kennedy shouldn’t have been in that match. At Unforgiven, Cena made Kennedy tap three seconds away from Orton retaining the title. Last week on Raw, Orton came out and announced he was using his rematch clause to take back the title he feels he never should have lost. Will Orton do what he says and take back the WWE Championship, or will Cena show Orton that he should be the Champ?

Backstage we see Batista in the locker room getting ready for his match.

Cole: And there’s The Animal getting ready for his match with Randy Orton next.

Just then we see Triple H come up to Batista and pat him on the back.

Triple H: Hey Dave.

Batista: Hunter. What’s up?

Triple H: So I don’t know if you heard but DiBiase and Rhodes challenged me to a match at No Mercy. I need to find a partner. I wanted someone that I know and trust, which is why I came to you.

Batista: Look, you know I would love to help you take out those two punks, but I already have a huge match against Matt Hardy at No Mercy and I need to stay completely focused on that match. I’m sorry.

Triple H: It’s ok. I understand. I’ve seen what Matt Hardy has been saying and doing to you lately and I’m sure you want to be one hundred percent physically and mentally for your match.

Batista: Are you sure you’re ok?

Triple H: Yeah, don’t worry about me. I can find someone else. I just thought I’d try you first and see if you wanted a piece of them. Anyway, good luck tonight in your match.

Batista: Thanks. Tonight I’m going to beat that annoying thorn in our sides called Randy Orton. Matt Hardy better watch and take notice because at No Mercy it’ll be him that falls to the Animal.

Triple H and Batista shake hands and then Batista walks out of the locker room to go to the ring.

Cole: It’s Batista verses Randy Orton in our main event next, when we return to Monday Night Raw here on the USA Network.

*-----Commercial Break------*

Batista’s music plays and the crowd cheers

Lilian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 290 pounds, Batista.

Cole: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw for our main event of the evening. Here comes The Animal and he seems fired up and ready to go.

King: Batista is set and focused on Matt Hardy for No Mercy. He can’t wait until the No DQ Match to teach Matt Hardy a lesson and show him why he’s in the spotlight.

Cole: I’m sure Batista is going to be picturing Orton being Matt Hardy tonight, not only to get out some of his frustration, but also to send a message to Matt Hardy.

Randy Orton’s music plays and the crowd boos

Lilian: And his opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, Randy Orton.

Cole: And here comes the former WWE Champion, Randy Orton. Last week, Orton picked up a huge victory in the tag team match when he pinned John Cena to pick up the win against the WWE Champion and his opponent here Batista.

King: To say Orton was mad last week would be an understatement. Orton was furious about losing the WWE Title at Unforgiven to John Cena. Orton had the pin with five seconds left, but Cena was able to make Kennedy tap out with three seconds left, making Cena win the WWE Title.

Cole: Orton then punted Kennedy out of frustration, which, along with his previous injuries from the Priceless attack, put Mr. Kennedy on the sidelines. We’re not sure when Kennedy will come back, but I know Randy Orton doesn’t care and hopes he’s out for good after, in his words, “costing him the title.”

Batista vs. Randy Orton
-The match starts with a stare down between the two. Orton goes for a quick cheap shot but Batista avoids it and takes advantage. The match goes on back and forth between the two. Towards the end, Orton is in control. Orton does is patented stomp around on Batista and then delivers a high knee drop on Batista. The cover, 1...2...Batista kicks out. Orton lifts Batista up and delivers an inverted headlock backbreaker. Orton then gets on the ground and stalks Batista as he gets up slowly. Orton goes for the RKO but Batista pushes him off. Orton comes back at Batista, but Batista connects with a clothesline. Orton gets back up and Batista hammers away at him with punches. Batista picks Orton up and rams him into a corner. Batista delivers a few shoulder blocks in the corner and then tosses Orton into the opposite corner. Batista runs and connects with a clothesline in the corner on Orton. Batista then lifts Orton up for a stalling suplex and then finishes the move after holding him up for a few seconds. The cover, 1…2…Orton kicks out. Batista lifts Orton up and delivers a Spine Buster to him. Batista gets fired up and then taunts, signaling the Batista Bomb. Batista sets Orton up for the Batista Bomb, but Orton slips out of the grip and kicks in Batista’s leg. Orton then dropkicks Batista which sends him back into a corner. Orton runs at Batista in the corner, but Batista moves out of the way. And Orton collides with the corner. Batista lifts Orton up on his shoulder as Orton backs out of the corner, but Orton slides off, turns Batista around, and hits a quick RKO by the corner on Batista. The cover, 1...2...Batista's foot is under the bottom rope for a rope break. Orton starts yelling at the referee. Orton goes to the outside and grabs the ring bell. Orton gets back in with it and looks to hit Batista with it. The referee tries to take it from Orton but Orton resists the referee. Batista gets up to his feet slowly. Orton runs at Batista to hit him with the ring bell, but Batista ducks it, runs off the ropes, and connects with a Spear on Orton. Batista taunts and then grabs Orton to set him up. Batista delivers the Batista Bomb to Orton. The cover, 1...2...3 Batista wins.
Winner: Batista

Lilian: Here is your winner, Batista.

Cole: What a match King. Non-stop back and forth action. Both men looked to be on their game tonight.

King: I thought Randy Orton had it after that RKO, but thankfully Batista was too close to the ropes and his foot landed under the ropes, which is a rope break. Good call by the referee there.

Cole: Orton got frustrated at that point and went to use the ring bell on Batista. That was a big mistake by Orton, since it allowed time for Batista to get up and take advantage with a massive Spear.

King: And then, a final Batista Bomb ended the match for Orton and picked up the victory for Batista. Matt Hardy, take notice. That could be you in two weeks.

Cole: Well what will happen in two weeks on October fourth at No Mercy? I’ll tell you this King, Batista is ready to wipe away the “Black Cloud” hanging over his head. Thank you for joining us here tonight on the USA Network for Monday Night Raw. Good night.

Default Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future

ECW Preview:

Last week on ECW, a fatal four way match was held to determine the new number one contender to the ECW Championship. After a hard fought battle with many near falls, Paul Burchill managed to catch Jack Swagger with Twisted Sister and pin the All American American. Now The Ripper will go one-on-one with Captain Charisma at No Mercy for the ECW Championship. Will Paul Burchill be able to cash in on his first one-on-one opportunity for the ECW Title, or will Christian retain the title once again?

Speaking of the ECW Champion, this week in our main event Christian will have a different challenge ahead of him when he faces the young up-in-comer Zack Ryder. Last week, Zack Ryder complained to General Manager Tommy Dreamer about not being the number one contenders match and wanted a shot at the ECW Title. Dreamer made this non-titled match to see if Zack Ryder has what it takes to be ECW Champion. Will Christian knock off the cocky Zack Ryder, or will the Long Island native prove to everyone that he is the real deal and the future of ECW?

Also this week we will also see Ezekiel Jackson take on the Hart Dynasty’s David Hart Smith. The Hart Dynasty has been on a role as of late with all of their singles victories until it came to a halt last week on WWE Superstars by Mark Henry, the man who has had some connection with Big Zeke in recent weeks. What is the connection between Jackson and Henry? Can Smith give the Hart Dynasty momentum back with a win over the undefeated Ezekiel Jackson, or will Smith be just another statistic for Jackson?

All of this and more this Tuesday on ECW on SyFy.

WWE Superstars Preview:

This week on WWE Superstars, Raw brings to you a huge five man main event. We will see Big Show, The Brian Kendrick, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, and Chavo Guerrero all battle it out for a shot at the United States Title. This past Monday on Raw, we saw the brawl between these five men and the United States Champion MVP, which ended with the World’s Largest Athlete standing tall. After Big Show demanded a match, General Manager Vickie Guerrero did the fair thing and made this match for WWE Superstars to see who will face MVP at No Mercy. Which one of these five men will have their shot at the United States Championship in less than two weeks?

From ECW we will see the high flying Evan Bourne take on the Moscow Mauler Vladimir Kozlov. At Unforgiven, Kozlov tried to take out Bourne in the Scramble Match with a full forced running headbutt, but Bourne was able to move out of the way and Kozlov rammed into the steel steps with his head, taking him out for the rest for the match. Will Bourne be able to use his quickness to his advantage again, or will Kozlov’s power and size advantage be too much for Bourne to dodge?

All of this and more this Thursday on WWE Superstars on WGN America.
