Summer's usually rocking with threads and so far this doesn't look to be the end of that trend.
90% of all new threads will be gone by next Summer. Out of all the new projects started last Summer, I think mine is the only one still going. I started it on July 29th 2008. Maybe there are another 1 or 2, but that's it. Just goes to show you how many people start new projects in the Summer, but fail to follow through. Most will be closed by September, let alone next Summer.

I agree with you on this, I know a few of the new threads may stay. And in my case, I'm going to try and keep mine going.

I'm sure everyone starts with the belief that they want to make a go of things, at least I hope they do. The quality of new threads this Summer has been quiet good. I've found myself getting into a few of the projects and reviewing some shows, so I hope those bookers stick around. But at the end of the day, it's hard to keep motivated, focused and produce good work.

Yeah I understand that but as long as everyone keeps trying to do better then it might work.

It really is hard to stay motivated, but I'm sure if most put their minds to it they could do it.
Wish you'd stay motivated my man. I remember when you first started around here but 11 months ago, you were very enthusiastic. Your last pieces of work were pretty good, haven't seen you post much lately... IS THAT BTB STILL GOING???
