sc, at this stage I am still hanging around the section and reading bits and pieces, but I don't even feel motivated to write a piece of feedback, rather than a show. Hopefully things change soon.
I anticipated this huge surge in new BTBs, but I'm taking advantage of it by taking the time to get my next show as good as possible. I imagine they'll only be popping up for the first couple of weeks of summer, then the thinning process will start, so I'll get to avoid mine ending up on page 50 ten minutes after I post it.
First US summer (it's winter here) on the forum, and it's pretty cool to see all the new projects start up. There's some epic new threads going around, esp from PatMan and JBWinner. A DC return would also be amazing. Pretty exciting time though tbh.

I'd say by early August most of the summer BTB's will probably be gone with a few staying here.

Not forgetting your own, which is pretty class. Got to give a shout out to Shaman also, who just posted an epic first show. Also letitrock, Bradley and Schub has producted a pretty compelling trio of bookers, which is cool to see. Power continues to shine, Mikey (Rated R Champ) continues to improve and then there's the established bookers. Wolfy, Dubya, Szumi, Tkow, Nige, KOP, A-Dust who have all continued to excel.
I am pretty sure Szumi is coming back soon enough, what happened to Spartanlax and Grendrill regarding their big returns? That kind of fizzled out which is a shame.

I guess the red carpets weren't rolled out to a certain extent. To be fair, the standard around here has risen dramatically over the course of the last few years. I say that after reading several old school threads recently. So whether your a returning legend or a newb, you still have to prove yourself and produce awesome work to get noticed around here now, it doesn't happen automatically. I'm not directing that at those mentioned, far from it, it's just a general assessment of this place right now.

Yeah, it's true, in 5 years the quality of booking has improved dramatically and that's mainly because guys like Wolfy, Nige, Szumi, Oz, KOP, WCW, MAC, PARA, Alco, Patman, and several others have improved over the years and in turn shown others a new standard to which they must measure up. When you get 5-10 guys who are knocking out great work and offering advice to new guys, it helps to improve the standard greatly and that's what's happened.
