Default TNA Wrestling - The Alternative Universe

This is now my fourth consecutive BTB on this forum. My last one, which started and ended in mid January, never really lifted off the ground, so hopefully I can lift this one up and I'm in the all clear now . Also, to those of you who I promised to review, I'm sorry but I was busy with other things and with school, and hopefully I can check all of your BTBs sooner than later. Here it goes...

The Backstory
The first six months of the year 2009 had been good for TNA. Ratings were still at the usual place for the company as they kept trying for at least a record breaking 1.4 rating but they were indeed catching up with the WWE SmackDown! Brand as some wrestling fans become uninterested in the WWE product. TNA celebrated seven years of its history at the recent TNA Slammiversary PPV which featured memorable matches such as the King of the Mountain Match for the TNA X Division Championship, Mixed Monster’s Ball Tag Team Match, and the TNA World Tag Team Championships Match, but more importantly, the King of the Mountain Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Fans were left reeling in shock at the aftermath of the PPV when fan favourite, Samoa Joe, who had been gaining his own revenge on The Main Event Mafia with his ‘Nation of Violence’ handed the Title over to Kurt Angle, who then hung it up high and won the Title, but after the match, Joe hugged Angle, meaning that he had indeed joined The Main Event Mafia. With shocking events like this occurring and the rumoured debut of Taz, there was only one option for wrestling fans to do in ‘The Alternative Universe’ of TNA and that was to Cross The Line!

I thought you had a modern day WWE thread in the works, though I'm glad you've gone with this. TNA threads here are a rarity, so I'd be extremely happy if this were to succeed. I'm not a fan of the current direction of TNA, though they have the talent, so hopefully you can utilise that. Presentation and all that ish is very good.

Good luck.

Good luck man, all of TNA's stars are hard to fit in the two hour time slot but I'm really looking forward to your work.

This looks very very nice, and I'm really interested which route you're gonna take with this. The presentation looks nice and that's gonna be useful when reading shows. Can't wait until this gets started and I hope you utilise the right talent in the right way! Best of luck, you have yourself a reader for sure!

The set up was done very nicely, good job with that. I have only seen one TNA BTB last more then about four pay per views, hopefully you don't lose motivation as a TNA BTB is always a nice thing to see when it works out and the writer doesn't lose motivation... seeing as there are about ten running WWE BTBs.
