ECW: An Alternative Path For The New Breed
 

So I decided to come back one more time and see what I can make happen. I know there are probably some of you that still remember me, but I also know there are a lot of new faces around. I'll try to make some new friends here while I am back, but ultimately I just felt like I had to make my last attempt on making something truly deserving to be in the BTB section before I became too busy to the point where I can no longer do this. So I hope you have fun reading :).

The basic idea of this BTB is the aftermath of ECW December to Dismember, but I made a couple changes to the results. The most noticable is I changed the results dramaticly for the main event. The reason I did this is because I'm going with the idea that Paul Heyman got his way and as such, I used the basic blueprint of what he said he wanted to do with the main event. One final note: Matches in ECW don't need to be announced as Extreme Rules in order to use weapons. Hehe.

See the DTD results panned out a little differently than irl - and the results here completely own that monstrosity of a show. Punk as champion should be a ratings winner for sure. You know I'll be here reading.

I remember you too. :p This all looks well planned out, and it is interesting to see you've gone straight for making Punk the champion rather than building him up a bit more then putting the belt on him.

Best of luck with this! It looks very promising and I personally was a big fan of ECW in this time era, even though it didn't live up to the expectaion of the old ECW. I really hope you keep things fresh with this diary, like interesting storylines and meaningful matches which ECW rarely had back then. But best of luck with this, and I'm sure you'll deliver.

I like the results and a CM Punk ECW title run may freshen up what should have been a hybrid of the old ECW and a new era of ECW. I will be reading as well.
