I've been reading, and have been very pleased by the retro nature of this thread. Just thought I'd pop in here to remark on the ECW roster. Very good detail (which is a trademark of your thread) and really cool to get the different bios on the stars before they were stars. Some of these guys seem hella young, but whatever. I can't wait to see this thing really get going, and how you implement these guys into the regular roster. Much props, man.

Saturday Night’s Main Event
Saturday June 20, 1986 Madison Square Garden.
The opening credits roll across the screen
Vince McMahon, clad in a tuxedo, and Jesse Ventura, wearing a leather jacket with a tie-dyed bandana and the craziest shades you could ever imagine, begin the show.
McMahon- Welcome everyone to Saturday Night’s Main Event! I’m Vince McMahon with my broadcast partner, Jesse “The Body” Ventura! We’ve got a great show for you tonight! On tonight’s show “Superstar” Billy Graham and Hulk Hogan will make it official and lock horns for the WWF World title belt!
Ventura- I tell you what McMahon, Hull Hogan has had a hell of a run as the WWF world heavyweight champion. The last time I can recall anyone running through the WWF like that is the man that has returned to take that title. The would-be savior of the WWF’s integrity, Billy Graham! I can’t wait!
SEGMENT 1
“Rowdy”Roddy Piper vs. “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff
As Orndorff makes his way to the ring, McMahon and Ventura talk about the feud.
McMahon- Jesse, it’s no secret of the disdain that “Mr. Wonderful” has for “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Over the last two weeks, Orndorff has been begging for this match-up and tonight he gets his wish.
Ventura- Well McMahon, the only thing I can say about that is sometimes you need to be careful what you ask for. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper is one of the most calculating brawlers in the WWF. The man is as crafty as they come and if Paul Orndorff thinks he is just going to run through Piper; he is making a HUGE mistake.
McMahon- I agree, but let’s not take anything away from Paul Orndorff. The man is an outstanding physical specimen. If anyone can take it to the “Rowdy Scot” it is Orndorff. Another thing that he has going for him is that he is MAD. Have you ever seen him this angry?
Ventura- To be honest, yes. Orndorff has a notoriously bad temper and a crafty veteran like Piper can exploit that.
McMahon- Well, I guess we will see, Jesse.
The bell rings as the two foes circle one another. They lock up and Orndorff takes the first advantage by locking Piper in a wristlock. He snaps Pipers arm a few times and drops an elbow smash on his extended arm to punctuate the sequence. Piper grabs his arm in pain and slinks under the middle rope to catch a break.
The ref steps in and positions Orndorff in the center of the ring. Shaking his arm to get the circulation back, Piper continues. He quickly thumbs Orndorff in the eye and let’s loose a flurry of punches. Orndorff backs into the corner with Piper dead on his heels. The ref is calling for piper to let up, but he is relentless. He mounts the turnbuckle and drops some more big punches on Orndorff’s forehead. Orndorff recover enough to pick up Piper and nail him with a reverse atomic drop!
Piper jumps around in pain as Orndorff recovers. Piper attempts to regain the advantage, but Orndorff blocks a punch and gives Piper one of his own. He nails Piper a few more times before he whips him off the ropes. Piper rebounds and takes a stiff clothesline.
Orndorff appeals to the crowd as Piper shakes his head to orient himself. As Orndorff leans over to pick him up, Piper throws a forearm between his legs. Orndorff buckles in pain, as Piper stands up and begins stomping him. “The Rowdy One” drops to his knees and begins choking Orndorff with two hands, before the ref breaks it up.
Seizing the advantage, Piper picks Orndorff up and whips him off the ropes. He bends over to give him a backdrop, but Orndorff executes a sunset flip. Piper struggles not to go over as Orndorff applies pressure. Finally, Piper braces himself and throws his arms out to celebrate. Orndorff switches his grip and pulls down Pipers trunks, inadvertently mooning one whole side of the arena. Luckily for the TV viewers, the camera only catches Pipers front side, but it is apparent what happened.
Piper quickly falls and pulls up his trunks. Orndorff springs up and begins stomping Piper as he tries to regain his modesty. Piper rolls out of the ring for a breather, but Orndorff follows him and gives him a few more punches. He quickly picks up Piper and slams him on the concrete. Piper sells the move as Orndorff rolls into the ring and gets berated by the ref.
Piper grabs his back and makes his way up on the ring apron. Orndorff pushes the ref aside and slingshots Piper into the ring, further injuring his back. Orndorff snatches Piper up and lands another reverse atomic drop. Piper is in agony and attempts to beg Orndorff off as he approaches. Orndorff catches Piper’s arm as he attempts to crotch him again, but makes the mistake of looking to the crowd to gloat.
Piper takes the advantage and pokes Orndorff in the eye. Orndorff falls back into the corner, but Piper seizes the opportunity and boxes “Mr. Wonderful’s” ears with both forearms. He whips Orndorff into the opposite corner and comes running in with a flying knee.
Orndorff is in big trouble and slumps down in the corner. Piper gives him a few short stomps and begins choking him out with his boot. The ref gives Piper a quick five count, forcing him to break the hold.
Piper picks Orndorff up and suplexes him to the center of the ring. As Orndorff flounders around in pain, Piper gets a running start and drops an elbow on his chest. He goes for the pinfall, but “Mr. Wonderful” quickly kicks out. Frustrated, Piper hooks a leg and goes for another pinfall. Orndorff kicks out even quicker this time. An even more frustrated Piper hooks TWO legs and goes for another pin. Orndorff kicks out again. A frustrated Piper stands up and begins stomping away at Orndorff, until the ref breaks it up.
Piper grabs Orndorff and whips him off the ropes. As Orndorff rebounds, Piper waits and hip tosses him over the top rope and down to the floor. As Orndorff struggles to recover, Piper walks around the ring stoking up the crowd with his insults.
Orndorff struggles to get back into the ring before the ten count. Piper pulls him up by the hair and whips him off the ropes again and attempts to hip toss him over the top rope a second time, but Orndorff reverses the move and sends Piper over!
A frustrated Piper grabs his back and forces himself back into the ring. Orndorff greets him with some more right hands as the crowd begins to chant his name. Orndorff attempts to whip Piper off the ropes, but Roddy reverses the move. Roddy attempts to backdrop Orndorff, but “Mr. Wonderful” executes another sunset flip. Piper flails his arms, but falls forward grabbing the top rope in the process. The ref, whose eyes are on Orndorff’s shoulders counts three as Piper uses the ropes for leverage.
Piper rolls outside and celebrates his ill-gotten victory as an irate Orndorff attempts to explain what happened to the referee.
WINNER- “Rowdy” Roddy Piper by cheating
SEGMENT 2
Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Andre the Giant and Hillbilly Jim
McMahon- Jesse, our next match features a whole lot of humanity as four of the largest wrestlers in the WWF hook up in a tag team match several weeks in the making. That’s right in a few short moments, we will see King Kong Bundy and his partner Big John Studd take on the team of Hillbilly Jim and Andre the Giant.
Ventura- Well Vince, there is an old saying in basketball that you can’t coach height. Well, you can’t coach 500 pounds either. These are four huge men. I mean, just think about it, Jim is the runt of the litter at 6’9 and 268 pounds!
McMahon- We are also failing to mention the disdain these four men feel for one another.
Ventura- Well McMahon, this is really just an extension of the Andre and Heenan feud that has been going on for the last 8 years. Heenan has thrown everything and everyone he has in an attempt to end the career of the “Eight Wonder of the World” and has thus far been unsuccessful. Hillbilly Jim, whether he intended to or not, has really steeped into a situation that is way over his head, if that is possible.
McMahon- Well, it looks like it about to begin. Let’s take it down to the ring.
After the introductions, Bundy and Jim begin the match. The two giants lock up and struggle to gain an advantage before shoving one another off. Jim bounces off the ropes and gets a full head of steam. Bundy braces himself and takes a Jim shoulderblock without so much as a stumble. A flustered Jim tries the tactic again at the urging of the crowd. Bundy once again braces himself and absorbs the blow. He smirks at Jim and invites him to try it a third time. Jim wags his finger at him, but Bundy dares him to try the move again. As Jim goes to bounce off the ropes a third time, Studd reaches over and clubs him with a huge forearm dropping the big hillbilly.
Bundy seizes the advantage and stomps away at Jim. Jim begin to make his way to his feet, absorbing big shot after big shot as he does. Bundy backs him into his corner and tags in Studd.
Bundy holds Jim’s arms as Studd measures him with a big right haymaker. Studd lands a few more huge shots to Jim that sends him to his knees. Studd kicks Jim in his previously injured ribs and sends him to the mat in agony. Studd then decides to stand on Jims back with all 400 pounds of his weight. When he steps off, Jim rolls around in agony.
Heenan shouts a few taunts at Jim as he tries to climb the ropes to his feet. Studd stalks him and presses Jim’s throat on the top rope and starts to choke him out. The ref breaks it up with a five count, but as he warns Big John Bundy comes over and continues the tactic behind his back.
Andre attempts to intervene, but the ref moves to intercept him. Stud uses the opportunity to pick up Jim’s legs as Bundy presses his throat down on the top rope. The ref sees the tactic and breaks it up, but the damage is done. Bundy asks for a tag.
Studd grants his request and holds Jim as Bundy measures him for another big haymaker. Bundy pins Jim into the corner and lays into his midsection with a few heavy shoulders. The camera zooms in on Jim who has an enormous look of pain etched on his face as the show cuts to commercial.
(commercial break)
The show returns to find Jim on his back in pain. Studd stands over him taunting Andre. He drops an elbow on Jim’s ribs causing the big country boy to cry out in pain.
McMahon- It would appear that Jim has reinjured those ribs. What an unfortunate situation for him! Bundy and stud are two individuals that will exploit that weakness in the worst way possible.
Ventura- As well they should, McMahon. The name of the game is winning. Any smart competitor will use any advantage he can get.
Studd picks up Jim and applies a bearhug. Jim cries out in pain. He struggles to dig his arms under Studd’s, to break the hold, but John’s grip is too tight. Jim tries to psyche himself up to break the hold, but any time it looks like he will break through Studd torques the hold harder. Jim appears to be fading. His eyes begin to flutter as his oxygen supply dwindles. After a few moments, his arms go limp. The referee steps in and raises the big hillbilly’s arm. It drops limply to his side. The arms goes up and falls a second time. As the referee raises Jim’s arm, Andre steps over the top rope and hammers Studd in the back with a huge fist. Bundy charges in, but Andre drops him with a clothesline.
The referee tries to intervene and restore order, but too many big bodies are in the ring.
Andre catches Studd as he tries to ambush him from behind and nails him with a headbutt. Andre turns his attention back to Bundy and hits him with some clubbing fists as he staggers to his feet. It is an easy matter for Andre to toss him over the top rope. Studd starts to recover, but Andre walks over and pins him in the corner. As the referee asks him to stop, Andre spins around and slams his ample back into the Studd’s pinned frame. After a few slams, Andre steps away and stud crumples in the corner. The ref, finally grabs Andre’s attention and gets him to return to his corner. On his way back, Andre grabs Jim’s wrist and drags him back to their corner. It is a simple matter for Andre to climb over the rope, slap Jim’s limp hand and climb back over the top rope. The referee is annoyed, but there isn’t much he can do.
As Andre begins pummeling Studd, the ref examines Jim and determines he can’t continue. He calls to the back and paramedics come running down to see to Hillbilly Jim. They quickly determine what is going on and put him on a stretcher. They give the barely conscious wrestler an oxygen mask and wheel him away. It would appear that the match is now a handicap affair.
Andre whips Studd off the ropes and nails him with a big boot to the face. Studd groans as Andre stands on his chest. The huge face picks his long time rival up and gives him a massive headbutt. Stud slumps to the canvas. Andre goes for a pin, but Bundy interferes.
As Bundy makes his way back to his corner, Andre chases him down and gives him some big fists to the face. Andre grabs and whips him into Studd, who was attempting to stand up. The two big heels collapse in the middle of the ring. Andre picks up Studd and executes a sloppy double-arm suplex. He goes for the pin. He gets a two count when Heenan runs in and stomps the back of his head. The referee has no choice but to call for the DQ.
Andre gets up and runs Heenan around the ring. He finally corners the cowardly manger, but Studd and Bundy recover enough to come to their mangers rescue. The three begin to beat The Giant down. They lay into him for a few minutes.
Back near the entrance, several paramedics are trying to stop Hillbilly Jim as he slowly makes his way back down to the ring. Oxygen mask still on his face, Jim carries his oxygen tank and slowly makes his way back to the ring. He jumps up and threatens the three heels with the tank as they scurry away from his tag team partner. The camera focuses on Jim as he drops to his knees in pain as a dazed Andre walks over to check on him.
WINNER- Andre the Giant and Hillbilly Jim win by DQ
(The show goes to commercial)
SEGMENT 3 & 4
Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Haku with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan (steel cage match)
The show returns to the Madison Square Garden and focuses in on the ring where ringside technicians are assembling the WWF’s signature blue cage.
McMahon- Jesse, up next we have a feud that is going into dangerous territory. Over the last several weeks we have seen Jake Roberts and Haku both try ,in earnest to end each other’s career. Do you think that this feud has gone too far?
Ventura- It’s hard to say, McMahon. I for one think at this point, this thing has to get settled one way or another. It has just reached the point where neither man is going to back down.
McMahon- You just wonder if a steel cage will be able to contain what we have seen over the last few weeks.
Ventura- It’s interesting that you would say that, Vince. The whole point of this match is to be the first one out of the cage. Which one of these men is going to try and get away from the other? From what I’ve seen, neither one of these guys will quit until the other is destroyed. It will be interesting.
Both competitors make their way to the ring with a variety of bruises, bandages and scars scattered across their bodies from their earlier contests.
Both men pace back in forth as they wait for the opening bell. The door is closed and the match begins!
Haku storms towards Roberts and takes the early advantage, peppering him with stiff overhand chops and punches. He lands several unanswered headbutts as Roberts drops to one knee.
Haku takes the stunned Roberts and runs him across the ring and slams his head into the steel cage. Roberts grabs the top rope to stay on his feet, but Haku gives him a stiff kick to the gut. Roberts double over in pain. The big Samoan jumps up and lands a double-chop on Roberts’s shoulder blades. He goes for a double-axehandle smash, but Roberts throws a brutal forearm to his groin.
It is Haku’s turn to double over in pain. Roberts takes a few moments to recover and measures Haku for straight right hand. He follows up with a few kicks that back Haku into the corner. The big Samoan receives a poke to the eye that blinds him. As Haku struggles to regain his vision, Roberts backs up and lands a running back elbow to Haku.
Haku manages to reverse an Irish whip attempt and send Roberts into the opposite corner with enough force to put him on the mat. Roberts grabs his back in pain, as Haku shuffles towards him. Haku drops to his knees and wraps both his hands around Robert’s throat. “The Snake’s” legs jerk violently as his airflow is cut off. Gradually his motions become more and more slow and clumsy as he begin to pass out. Before he reaches that point, Haku releases the hold and begins scratching Roberts’s chest to further torture him.
Heenan gets Haku’s attention and asks him to walk out the door to him. Haku waves him off and begins stomping Roberts. Roberts crawls towards the ropes to haul himself to his feet. Haku gives him an overhand chop, putting him on his back gain. As Haku goes for another overhand chop, Roberts sends a quick kick to his stomach.
Roberts stands up slowly and nails Haku with an uppercut. Haku flops back into the ropes. Roberts grabs Haku’s head and begins grinding his face along the top rope. To finish the move, he pulls back Haku’s melon and rams it into the cage a few times. Haku falls to the mat and Roberts follows up with a few stomps.
Roberts wraps Haku’s throat around the bottom rope and pulls up violently. Heenan cries out from ringside how illegal the move is, but is ignored. Roberts begins walking across the ring towards the door with a wicked smile on his face, Haku gets up and runs towards Robert’s exposed back, but the crafty veteran spins around and catches him with a surprise clothesline. As Heenan clutches his head in disappointment, Jake taps his forehead and smiles at him as if to say, “I’m too smart for your guy.”
Roberts picks up Haku and gives him a DDT! Haku is limp on the mat, but Roberts kneels over and begins slapping him. As Haku begins to get his senses back, the camera zooms in on Roberts face. He can clearly be heard saying, “Oh no, I’m not through with you, big boy!”
He drags Haku to his feet and ties him in the ropes. Roberts gets a running start and throws a knee Haku’s gut. Haku grunts in agony. As Roberts attempts to repeat the move, Heenan jumps up on the cage and reaches through the bars to free his client. Roberts crashes into Haku again, throwing Heenan off the ring apron to the floor.
Haku frees himself and begins crawling to the door. A chuckling Roberts stalks him and picks him up. He signals for another DDT, but Haku boxes his ears and follows up with a viscous groin shot. Both wrestlers struggle to get to their feet. Haku stumbles to the ropes and unleashes a thrust kick as Roberts stands up!
Roberts is out, but Haku refuses to let up. Haku picks up his antagonist and props him in the corner. He follows up with another thrust kick! Roberts crumbles in the corner. Haku follows up with a few more stomps and seems intent on keeping up with his violent assault, but Heenan rushes into the ring and grabs his client. For a moment, it appears that Haku is going to hit his manager, but he quickly controls himself. Haku is half-led/half-dragged towards the door. Finally, Heenan gets behind Haku and convinces him to leave the cage. Not to be upstaged, Heenan gets a running start and kicks Roberts in the head before leaving the cage and celebrating his clients win. The camera zooms in on Roberts’s prone form as the show cuts to commercial.
WINNER- Haku
(When the show returns Gene Okerland is backstage with Bobby Heenan and Haku. Haku has an ice bag on the back of his head. His eyes staring down at the floor as Heenan stands behind him with his hands on his shoulders.)
Okerland- Bobby, congratulations on your clients win tonight. You have to ha-
Heenan- Just be quite a minute, Okerland! I’ve got something to say! ( he pauses a minute to catch his breath; he is obviously excited)
It’s over! It is over, finally! Tonight we put the final nail in the coffin! Jake Roberts is done! For the last few weeks there has been a snake lurking in our garden. Well, tonight this man eliminated that threat. I’ll give you credit Roberts, you hung in there. You gave almost as good as you got, but tonight this man ended your career. We left you lying! Gene, a moment of silence for Jake Roberts’s career!
(The scene cuts back to McMahon and Ventura in the announcing booth)
SEGMENT 5
McMahon- Well, our next match-up is between two tag teams that are no strangers to one another. Jesse, over the last week we have seen The Dream Team steal the WWF tag team titles from The British bulldogs and do everything in their power to keep from losing their titles.
Ventura- Well, what’s wrong with that?
McMahon- Well, I guess what I’m saying is that most people think walking out in the middle of a title match to keep your title is a dirty tactic.
Ventura- Yeah? Who are the champions again?
McMahon- Well, The Dream Team, but-
Ventura- Well Vince, I think you just answered your own question.
The British Bulldogs with Capt. Lou Albano vs. The Dream Team with Slick
Both teams march to the ring with their managers in tow. The Bulldogs look determined to win back their titles. The bell rings. Valentine and Smith start off the match-up.
Smith goes to lock up with Valentine, but the crafty Valentine shoots a quick forearm to Smith’s cheek. He follows up with two quick elbow smashes to the top of the head and applies a wristlock. He gradually works his way to his corner while keeping the hold tight. He makes a tag.
Beefcake mounts the second rope and drops a fist on smith’s outstretched arm. Smith clutches it in pain. Beefcake applies another wristlock, but transitions it to a chicken wing. He torques it a few times, causing Smith to grimace in pain. Beefcake taunts the Dynamite Kid, but Smith shoots an elbow shot to Beefcakes jaw as his head is turned.
Beefcake drops to his knees holding his jaw. Smith gives him a quick kick to the chest and picks him up by the hair. He whips Beefcake off the ropes and launches him high in the air with a big backdrop.
Beefcake clutches his back as Smith tags in his partner. The Kid comes in like a buzz saw and rocks Beefcake with a few stiff snap-suplexes. Beefcake is stunned and lays on the matt in pain. Dynamite takes the opportunity to execute a drop head butt that causes Beefcake to grab his forehead in agony. The Kid tags in his partner. Together, they pick Beefcake up and double-suplex him.
Smith grabs his hurt opponent and presses him over his head! Beefcake begs Smith not to slam him, but smith deposits him roughly on the mat. The crowd cheers the entire sequence. Beefcake is not given a moment to rest, Smith charges up the crowd and roughly drags Beefcake to his feet. He snatches Beefcake up in a vertical suplex and holds him for a few moments. He falls back with a huge crash. Beefcake pops up in pain, but his eyes roll back in his head and he falls back to the mat in pain. Smith goes for the cover, but Beefcake manages to get his shoulder up at the very last moment.
Smith tags in his partner. Dynamite mounts the top rope and comes off with a HUGE fist drop that causes Beefcake to spasm. Beefcake is covered, but Valentine comes in and makes the save.
An annoyed Kid picks up Beefcake and whips him off the ropes. He damn near decapitates Beefcake with a dropkick. Not giving Beefcake a break, he quickly picks him up and applies an abdominal stretch.
Beefcake struggles for a few moments, but The Kid tags in his partner. Davey Boy measures the exposed Beefcake and lands an open shot to the gut that doubles Beefcake over.
Smith snatches Beefcake up and rests him on his shoulder. He gets a running start and plants him with a powerslam! The referee begins the count, but Greg Valentine runs in and drops an elbow on…the referee! He intentionally attacked the ref! Clutching his back, the ref calls for the bell.
The Bulldogs have been cheated out of the belts, again! The two furious Bulldogs take their frustration out on the Dream Team. They each grab a member of the opposing team and pound them into opposite turnbuckles. On cue, they whip Beefcake and Valentine into each other. The Dream Team crack heads and crumple to the mat. The Bulldogs leave the ring in disgust. The camera zooms out showing Beefcake and Valentine lying in the ring in pain.
WINNER- The British Bulldogs win by DQ
(The show cuts to commercial)
SEGMENT 6
Tito Santana vs. Randy “Macho Man” Savage with Elizabeth
(The show returns to show randy Savage in the ring ready to start his match with Tito Santana. He has a HUG grin on his face and almost seems giddy.)
Santana comes limping down the aisle, his left leg heavily bandaged. He is in obvious pain as he attempts to make his way to the ring.
McMahon- It would appear that the Intercontinental Champion has sustained some sort of leg injury. That is odd. I saw him a few hours ago and he seemed fine. Something isn’t right here.
Ventura- I’ve known Tito Santana a long time, but do you think he would fake an injury to give himself an excuse if he loses to Randy Savage?
McMahon- Jesse, do you hear what you are saying? You know Tito Santana would never do anything of the sort.
Ventura- I want to agree with you, McMahon. I really do, but he is in the ring with a man I can’t see him beating. Let’s face it, he’s overmatched. I know it. Randy knows it. Tito knows it. This just could be Santana’s way of bowing out with a little dignity.
McMahon- I can’t believe what I’m hearing from you!
Santana finally makes it to the ring and rolls in. It takes all of his energy just to stand up. As he leans in his corner during introductions, the referee asks him if he can wrestle. Tito resolutely nods yes.
The match begins and Savage goes to the middle of the ring and beckons Santana to lock up. Santana hobble to the center. Savage throws a jab and uses his superior mobility to dance around Santana, peppering him with punches. Santana attempts to keep up, but Savage is too mobile. After absorbing too many punches, Santana collapses.
Savage holds up one finger and preens to the crowd. Santana reaches down and crawls towards the ropes. He slowly picks himself up, without putting any weight on his leg. He turns around and calls Savage to him. Savage obliges and the two get into a slug fest. Santana begins to get the better of the exchange, but Savage backs up quickly out of range. Santana attempts to give chase, but crumbles as he tries to put weight on his injured leg.
Savage swoops in and begin stomping Santana. He drops a few big axehandles and cover him. Santana kicks out. Savage just shrugs and gets up. As Santana struggles to get to his feet, Savage calls him to the center of the ring. Santana gamely limps towards him, but Savage quickly gives him a boot to the gut. Savage takes the bent over champion and suplexes him violently to the mat. He follows up with a knee drop and goes for another pin. This time Santana’s kick out annoys Savage.
“The Macho Man” gets up and begins viscously stomping the prone Santana. The referee asks Savage to ease up, but the challenger will not be denied. He begins choking Tito with his foot, in an effort to break his will.
Savage climbs the top turnbuckle and waits patiently as Tito attempts to use the ropes to stand. Savage flies off the top rope with a double-axhandle as Santana makes it to his feet. The impact sends Santana down. Savage pulls off the kid gloves and begin working over the champ’s taped up leg. Santana cries out in agony as Savage attempts to cripple him.
Savage finally lets up and drags Santana, by his injured leg, to the center of the ring. Savage methodically climbs the top rope and drops The Flying Elbow! He goes for the pin.1…2…3!
As McMahon rails against him in the commentator’s booth, Savage is given the I/C belt. He celebrates on each turnbuckle holding his new belt above his head. The camera cuts to the back with a shot of Savage kissing his newly acquired gold.
Winner- Randy "Macho Man" Savage by pinfall
SEGMENT 7 &8
Hulk Hogan vs.”Superstar” Billy Graham
A brief video plays that highlights the roots and high points of the feud to this point.
McMahon- Folks, it is almost time. In just a few short moments, hulk Hogan will defend his title against the man that got him his first job in the WWF. “Superstar” Billy Graham. Jesse, what do you think will happen when the past comes crashing into the present?
Ventura- To be frankly honest Vince, I see “The Superstar” reminding the world of just who is he is. The wrestling world may have forgotten what men like Billy graham have done, but that doesn’t take away from his ability. If anything, Billy Graham is MORE dangerous now. The man is motivated to save the sport he spent his life building up from the crass commercialism that Hulk Hogan and wrestlers like him represent.
McMahon- Hulk Hogan appears ready as well. He has taken Graham’s statements as a personal insult against him and his nation of Hulkamaniacs.
Ventura- I have said it before and I will say it again. Hulk Hogan has a HUGE mental barrier to overcome when he gets in the ring with the man he has spent his entire career imitating. It cannot be understated just how much Hulk Hogan looked up to Billy Graham. Can really get himself mentally ready to beat the man he has always wanted to be?
The crowd boos as Billy Graham makes his way to the ring. He looks angry and determined. He gets into the ring and rips off his shirt and flexes to the crowd, a blatant mockery of Hogan’s typical entrance.
Hogan’s music kicks in and the crowd goes nuts. Hogan comes out fired up, inciting the crowd and getting them going. He makes his way to the ring and points a sharp finger at Graham, who challenges him to enter the ring. Hogan mounts the ring apron and rips off his t-shirt. As he flexes and points at Graham, the crowd goes wild. Hogan enters the ring and hands his belt to the ref.
The ref hoists the belt up and beckons the two competitor to the ring. He gives pre-match instructions as Graham and Hogan stare daggers into one another.
The bell rings and Hogan and Graham circle each other. Graham holds up one hand, challenging Hogan to a test of strength.
Hogan looks to the crowd for support. As they cheer him on, he cautiously locks fingers with Graham. The two muscled wrestler lock both hands and lean into one another, straining to bend back each other’s wrist. The test of strength last at least two minutes as the crowd waits for one man to gain dominance over the other.
Slowly, Hogan begins to win the exchange. Graham puffs and strains, but his strength is fading. Rather than go down, he nails Hogan with a quick headbutt and torques his wrist. Hogan sinks to his knees. Graham pushes down as Hogan gasps in pain.
Hogan finally begins to work his way back up, as the crowd cheers him on. He makes his way to his feet. Sensing he is losing Graham attempts to send a knee to Hogan’s exposed gut, but the champion releases his hold and blocks the attempt. Hogan fires off three quick right hands to Graham’s forehead. A stunned Graham starts to back up, but Hogan whips him off the ropes.
Graham rebounds and is met with a Hogan clothesline. Hogan gets a running start and bounces off the ropes. As Graham stands up, Hogan knocks him down with another running clothesline. Hogan attempts the tactic one more time, but the crafty Graham catches him in a bearhug.
Hogan strain to get his arms in under Grahams, but the hold is too tight. To counter the hold, Hogan begins to punch Graham. Graham answers with a belly-to-belly suplex, stifling Hogan’s offense.
Graham shakes off the effects of Hogan’s punches and picks up the former champion. He drops him with a short arm clothesline. He flexes, kisses his bicep and drops an elbow (where do you think Scott Steiner got that from?) to Hogan’s chest. He goes for the pin, but Hogan kicks out.
Graham stands up and stomps Hogan a few times to soften him up. He picks up the current champion and whips him into the turnbuckle. He follows up with a running clothesline. After a few punches, he whips Hogan into the opposite corner and charges in again. This time Hogan manages to lift his leg. Graham runs into Hogan’s foot and slumps against the ropes.
Hogan recovers and nails Graham with headbutt. Hogan grabs Graham and fires off a few punches that causes him to slump against the ropes. Hogan whips Graham off the ropes and attempts to backdrop him, but Graham drops a huge forearm to the back of Hogan’s head.
The two men take a few moments to recover, the intensity of the match wearing them both down. Graham manages to recover and pick Hogan up. He plants him with a powerslam and goes for the pin. Hogan kicks out at two.
Undeterred, Graham grinds a forearm across the bridge of his nose for a few moments. Graham stands a punishes Hogan with more stomps. Graham gets a running start and runs off the ropes. He comes back and lands a legdrop on Hulk Hogan! The crowd begins to murmur as Graham gets up and taunts them.
Graham picks up Hogan and locks him in a bearhug. Hogan flounders as Graham bears down. Hogan’s face is beet red and cheeks puff out with effort. Gradually, his arms begin to go limp. After a few more moments, he appears to be out. Graham yells at the referee to call the match.
The referee picks up Hogan’s arm and it drops limply to his side. He picks it up a second time and it falls back down once more. The referee picks it up a third time, but Hogan catches it as it begins to fall.
The crowd comes to life and starts cheering him on. Hogan’s eyes pop open and it he looks to the crowd for support. Graham attempts to crank the hold, but Hogan becomes more and more animated. He boxes Graham’s ears with his forearms. Graham shutters, but does not release the hold. Hogan fires off three right hands and Graham releases his grip. Starts “Hulking” out as Graham starts trying to fire off punches, in an attempt to regain control of the match. Hogan blocks a punch and whips graham off the ropes. Graham runs into Hogan’s extended leg and falls back into the ropes. Hogan follows and picks him up. He bodyslams Graham and sprints to the ropes. He lands and leg drop on Graham and goes for the pin. On the count of two, Graham rests his foot on the bottom rope. The referee is not in position to see it, however. He counts three and awards the victory to Hogan!
The crowd goes wild! Hogan’s music kicks in and he begins celebrating. Not many people in the arena or watching on television even noticed Graham’s action. As Hogan poses for the crowd, Jesse Ventura asks to see a replay. The replay clearly shows that Hogan’s win should not have counted. Even McMahon reluctantly agrees, the win was bogus . In the ring, Hogan is oblivious and continues his normal celebration.
Graham grabs the microphone and begins shouting over Hogan’s music.
Graham- “Cut the damn music! Turn it off! This isn’t happening! Cut the music!”
(The music is cut and Hogan looks down out of the ring, clearly confused.)
“You did not beat me! It didn’t happen! My foot was on the ropes! When you get back to the dressing room, check it out, Hogan! You will see that I’m right. All you have over me is another one of your tainted victories! That isn’t good enough!”
(Hogan looks confused. He starts asking the referee if Graham is speaking the truth. The referee shakes his head trying to explain.)
“I tell you what, paper champ! Give me one more shot! You give me one more shot and I will put up half of the WWF! That’s right, I’ll put up half of everything I have. That is how confidant I am that I can beat you. What do you say? Are you man enough?”
Vince's main competitor continues to chug along, but they are experiencing some finacial bumps as the WWF gobbles up some of their fan base and the economy begins to fade. Jim Crockett, the owner of the NWA, has reached out to Bill watts, the owner of the UWF, and is attempting to co-promote in an effort to twart Vince's expansion. Crockett maintains a loyal fan base in the South and Watts has maintained a small, but loyal, group of fans in the Midwest. The details are being ironed out.
Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes
Tried a true blood feud, booked by ....Dusty Rhodes! The fans, however, eat it up. Dusty continues to fall just short of winning tyhe title as Flair uses Arn and Ole Anderson, Tully BLanchard and manager, J.J. Dillon (The 4 Horsemen) to ambush, interfere and frustrate Rhodes at every turn. Will Rhodes finally come out on top as the Great American Bash approaches? (The Bash is a tour that starts in July and goes until mid-August)
Magnum T.A. vs. "The Russian Nightmare" Nikta Koloff
T.A., the companies future mega-star, continues to hold off the monster from Russia, but has not earned a concrete win. With the U.S. title still up for grabs, can T.A. hold off Nikta and his cronies (uncle Ivan Koloff and Krusher Kruchev)? A recent attack by the trio led to to T.A. being busted up by a chain. Will the Russians win and defile the U.S. title?
The Minnasota Wrecking Crew (Ole and Arn Anderson) vs. The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal)
This back and forth match-up has kept the fans on their toes. The Horsemen uses their brethren to twart the Warriors at every turn. The Warriors are giving them a hell of a beating, however.
Tully Blanchard vs. Barry Windham
The pattern of white-meat baby faces attempting to take the titles from the evil Horsemen continues...Windham has a sizeable following and yearns for the NWA TV title. He recently attacked Blanchard and put a saddle on him. He them mercilessly rode the injured heel around the ring, much to the delight of the crowd.

White-hot tag team action..These 2 talented teams tear it up every night and trade wins back and forth. Fuled by the witty and talented promos from heel manger, Jim Corenett, the fans are seeing the best of all four men.
The AWA
The Minnesota wrestling giant is the last of the "Big 3" and is begining to falter. Verne Gagne, the owner and former star of the promotion, has not changed with the times and continues to lose top talent to Vince and Crockett. His refusal to work and co-promote with other promoters is hurting him, but he is unwilling to shed any of his money in helping another competitor get over. Sadly, he has some great young talent that feels underappreciated by him.
Stan Hansen vs. Nick Bockwinkle
Two aging stars grapple over the AWA belt. Fans seem to like Bockwinkle, but aren't really into him. Hansen is a great worker, but works stiff and his frequent trips to Japan keep him on Verne's shit list.
Curt Henning vs. The Masked Superstar
Even Henning, the most over star in the company, cannot make fans take the masked heel get over. He doesn't talk well and his brawling style does not gel with Henning well.After frequent attacks, The Masked Superstar has injured Henning's partner, "Big" Scott Hall, and is now going after Henning to make his mark in the AWA. Henning has resolutely withstood the challenge.
Sgt. Slaughter vs. Col. DeBeers
Slaughter has been in some wars with the brutal, racist, South African mercenary. the fans are eating it up at each bloody brawl of a match. After 8 years of the pro-America drill sergeant gimmick, Slaughter can still rally the crowd.
The Midnight Rockers (Shawn Micheals and Marty Jannety) vs. Buddy Rose and Doug Sommers
The Rockers are the best team to come along in the AWA in years, but Verne isn't found of their out-of ring cockiness and they grate the older stars in the locker room with their sophmoric pranks. Their attitudes have kept the AWA tag title off them. Sherri Martel has been the moth peice of Rose and Sommers and has kept the feud white hot with her mic work.
World Class Wrestling
Frtiz Von Erich's Texas-based promotion continues to chug along, but the hard finacial times are taking their toll. The Fabulouse Freebirds (Micheal "P.S." Hayes, "Bam Bam" Terry Gordy and Buddy "Jack" Roberts) recent exadous to the UWF has hurt more than Fritz lets on. He still has his sons Kevin and Kerry, Rick Rude, The Dingo Warrior, Chris Adams and Bruiser Brody (in between Japan tours), but his numbers are down.
The UWF
Bill Watt's promtion has some great storylines and workers and they need both of those to stay afloat. The Oklahoma and Kansas market has dried up with the old fields and money is not great.He recently signed the Freebirds and is in negotiations with the NWA in an effort to stay open. Workers, Cactus Jack, Eddie "Hot Stuff" Gilbert, Steve "Dr. Death" williams, Terry Taylor, Sting and Ric steiner can all work, but how much longer can the territory last?

All right folks, I'm back with a vengance. The job is ramping me up for another go, but I'm trying to get a card up every 5 days or so. If anyone would be so kind, I would really appreciate a review of SNME. That was my crown jewel this month and not getting a single review really doesn't let me know how the storylines are progressing.

But what do you idiots do? You treat me like the villan! Just like Hogan to hide behind you and the rest of the WWF. Mark my words, all of you. his time is coming! Your time is coming! When that belt is around someone who deserves to wear it, this company will get rid of the scum, like you, that are bringing it down!

Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan sit in studio in tailored suits.
Gorilla- Welcome everyone to Prime Time Wrestling in Buffalo, New York! I’m Gorilla Monsoon with my partner, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. We’ve got a great show for you this week and of course there will be much discussion about the way things went down this Saturday in Madison Square Garden. Your thoughts, Brain?
Heenan- Well, it was a memorable night for several reasons, Gorilla. I was appalled by the referees carelessness in the match between my clients, King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd, and those two buffoons Andre the Giant and Hillbilly Jim. It was that hacks carelessness that caused my clients a very important match.
Gorilla- What on earth are you talking about, Brain?
Heenan- You didn’t see that overgrown farmhand attack my boys with an oxygen tank?
Gorilla- I did, but it seemed that the match was already over with at that point. Your guys had already been disqualified.
Heenan- My guys saw the writing on the wall and did what they had to do to protect themselves. I don’t see how you or that quack missed it! How long have you been doing this, Gorilla?
Gorilla- (Throwing his hands up and speaking sarcastically) Apparently, not long enough, Brain.
Heenan- Apparently is right, but on a good note the violent feud that has been tearing this organization apart is finally over. This Saturday, Haku finally stopped the madness by ending the career of Jake Roberts.
Gorilla- Really? You are telling us that “The Snake” has retired?
Heenan- That is exactly what I’m saying. I’ve spoken with several doctors in the WWF front office and they tell me that the injuries sustained by Roberts have left him unable to continue his career as a professional wrestler. It’s tragic, I tell you.
Gorilla- If what you are saying is true, I would agree.
Heenan- Well of course it’s true! Why would I make that up? The man played with fire and got burned. I hate it for him, but certain snakes don’t need to mess with mongooses. Roberts found out the hard way in that steel cage Saturday.
Gorilla- Well, we wish Jake Roberts and his family the very best and a speedy recovery.
On to our opening match….Billy Jack Haynes vs. “Dr. D” David Schultz
Segment 1
Billy Jack Haynes vs. “Dr. D” David Schultz
The bell rings and the two men circle each other. They tie up and Schultz manages to get Haynes in a side-headlock. The big Oregon brawler breaks the hold by pushing Schultz off and into the ropes. As Schultz rebounds, Haynes grabs him and military presses him high into the air! After holding him for a few seconds, he slams Schultz to the canvas.
Haynes pounces on Schultz and snatches him up by the scruff of the neck. He whips him off the ropes and turns him inside-out with a running clothesline. The fans are beginning to take more notice with each high-impact move.
Haynes continues his domination of Schultz by executing a few more high impact body slams, reverse suplexes and atomic drops.
He eventually locks in his signature finisher, the full-nelson, forcing Schultz to tap. Another impressive victory for Haynes as he attempts to climb the WWF’s hierarchy.
Segment 2
As the show cuts from the ring, the audience sees Percy Pringle waiting outside the locker room of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. Soon Steamboat appears and questions Pringle.
Steamboat- Hey Percy. Welcome to WWF. You mind if I slip by you and get to my dressing room?
Pringle- Sure, Mr. St-Steamboat. May I have j-ju-just one moment of your t-t-time, please?
Steamboat- Sure, Percy. What can I help you with?
Pringle- W-We-Well I’m g-g-glad you asked. You see Mr. Gr-Gr-Graham said that if it was all- ri-righ-right with you, my client could have a match with you tonight. It would mean the world to both of us if we c-c-could have the op-oppur—opportunity to get my client in there with a professional such as yourself.
Steamboat- (extending his hand) It would be an honor. I saw your guy’s debut. That is one impressive youngster you got there.
The scene shifts back to the studio
Gorilla- Well that should be some match-up tonight. In many people’s eyes young Muta is a younger version of “the Dragon”.
Heenan- Yeah, it should be something. A regular ‘Big Trouble in Little China’. Bet you and all the buffoons out there in TV land are ready for Mr. Miyagi and Daniel-san to tear down the house, huh?
Gorilla- Are you trying to say you aren’t as excited about the match up, Brain?
Heenan- Not at all, Gorilla. You misunderstand me. I have nothing, but respect for the martial arts. I’m a long-time admirer.
Gorilla- Really?
Heenan- Yeah, I’ve been watching Hong-Kong Fewey every Saturday morning since I don’t know how long. (Heenan breaks down laughing at his own joke.)
Gorilla- (shaking his head) We’ll be right back with Don Murraco and Brady Boone folks. Stay tuned.
(The show goes to commercial)
Segment 3
Don Murraco vs. Brady Boone
The match is really a squash. Murraco tosses Boone around the whole time; punishing him with slams, backbreakers, and a variety of suplexs. He eventually ends the affair with a stiff reverse pile driver.
Segment 4
The British Bulldogs vs. The Conquistadors
Smith and Conquistador I start off the match. After a lock-up, Smith shoves the Mexican wrestler to his back. The masked wrestler gets up in a huff and complains that smith pulled his hair.
The ref laughs and tells him to continue. Obviously annoyed, Conquistador I attempts to sucker punch smith, but the Brit blocks it and sends a few punches of his own right back at his opponent.
Smith whips his opponent off the ropes and catches him with a stiff dropkick off the rebound. Smith quickly gathers I up and suplexs him. The move lands with impact; shaking the whole ring. Undeterred, Smith the Conquistador and presses him over his head. The masked wrestler begs not to be slammed as Smith holds him up for the world to see, but his pleas go unheeded. The impact of the move is heard clearly. Smith uses the opportunity to tag in his partner.
The Dynamite Kid runs in a starts slamming Conquistador I with a variety of stiff headbutts, forearms smashes and dropkicks. The British star is relentless with his offense; keeping a pace that most wrestlers can’t match. He hits several snap suplexes that cause his opponent to clutch his back in pain.
Kid tags in his partner and they unleash a double dropkick than damn near decapitates the masked wrestler. Smith mounts the second rope and jumps off. He lands a fist drop that causes the masked wrestler to writhe in pain. Smith wrestles him to his feet and hoists him up in a vertical suplex. He holds the move for a few moments before falling back. He quickly gets up and tags his partner in.
The Dynamite Kid mounts the top rope and comes down on Conquistador I with a flying head butt. He goes for the cover. 1…2…3!
The Bulldogs get the win. The scene shifts back to the studio as Capt. Lou Albano comes into the ring to celebrate with his team.
Gorilla- Another impressive win for the British duo. Your thoughts, Brain?
Heenan- Yeah, yeah great win. Have you ever seen Conquistador II get in the ring?
Gorilla- Come to think of it, I haven’t. The question still remains, what are your thoughts on the Bulldogs? The Dream Team hasn’t notched a win against them since stealing the titles from them.
Heenan- They are still the champs, though?
Gorilla- Well yes, but-
Heenan- I just wanted to make sure because Slick’s boys are still wearing gold the last time I saw them.
Gorilla- Never mind. Back to Buffalo folks! Roddy Piper has a special Monday night edition of Piper’s Pit.
Segment 5
Piper’s Pit
Piper strolls out to the set of his show alone. The crowd jeers as he holds his arms up for approval. Unfazed, Piper continues to smile. He holds his hand up to ask for silence; a smug look on his face.
Piper- Now, now Buffalo, this isn’t the only time I’ve been to this town. Calm down so we can get this show on the road. (The crowd erupts with a fresh round of boos)
You see Buffalo if you guys don’t shut up, I’m not going to be able to call my next guess out here, “Mr. Wonderful” himself, Paul Orndorff. So sit down and be quite because I want this just as bad as you do. Orndorff, get out here!
(The crowd waits along with Piper, but nobody shows.)
Piper- No? No Paul? You see folks I WANTED Paul out here. I really did. There were questions that needed answering. Like, “How did it feel to lose to the “Rowdy One” on Saturday Night’s Main Event?”, or “Why on earth were you dumb enough to attack Rowdy Piper as he went to his car after that match” or “How does it feel to be arrested by New York City’s finest for assault?” or “How dumb do you have to be to be sitting in a jail cell instead of being on Piper’s Pit?” (Piper starts laughing as the crowd starts to boo.)
It’s true, Buffalo. The dumb brute attacked me as I was going to my car and I just let him wail on me as the cops ran over. It was classic. Poor Paul really needs to pay better attention to his surroundings! (Piper begins cackling again!)
So you see, Buffalo, I’ve done it. I sent Mr. T back to Hollywood all scuffed up, Orndorff is looking at 3 to 5 with good behavior, and I’m still standing. As much as all of you stiffs hate it, I’m still here. How does that grab you, Buffalo?
(Piper doesn’t see Mr. T enter the set behind him. As Piper rants at the crowd, T stands behind him with his arms folded. The crowd begins to cheer wildly. Confused, piper looks around. As he turns around, he comes nose to nose with T. T lands a stiff right and begins beating Piper around his own set. Piper quickly recovers and sprints to the back. T raises his arms triumphantly as the crowd goes wild.)
Segment 6
Kenjoh Muta (with Percy Pringle) vs. Ricky “The Dragon Steamboat
Muta and Pringle wait stoically in the ring as Steamboat makes his way down the aisle. Both men appear very excited about this opportunity. Steamboat enters and gives a nod to his opponent’s corner. The gesture is returned.
Pringle gives his client a few last-minute pieces of advice, before exiting the ring. Muta nods and jogs towards the center of the ring. Steamboat steps out to meet him and the bell rings to start the match.
The two competitors lock up. It takes a few moments as the two wrestlers struggle to gain an advantage, but Muta eventually traps Steamboat in a spinning wristlock. Steamboat quickly rolls and flips out of the maneuver. He quickly reverses the hold, surprising Muta. Showing his versatility, Muta bounces off the second and top rope to flip out of the hold. Steamboat nods his approval and steps away.
Muta attempts another lock up, but the wily veteran armdrags Muta. Muta turns around and it caught with a deeper arm drag. Muta gets up from the maneuver, fakes like he is about to run forward and stops. Steamboat, who normally lands 2 or 3 of the maneuvers during a set, smiles at the maneuver and beckons Muta forward.
Muta comes in with a jumping back kick that surprises Steamboat. The younger wrestler whips Steamboat off the ropes and catches him with a spinning head scissors off the rebound. The move sends Steamboat flying towards the corner.
Muta attempts to follow up his offense, but Steamboat attempts to back drop him as he rushes forward. Muta leapfrogs the maneuver and lands on the second turnbuckle. He quickly attempts a reverse flying bodypress as Steamboat turns around. Steamboat ducks the maneuver at the last second causing Muta to crash unto the canvas.
Steamboat quickly presses his advantage. He picks Muta up and executes a vertical suplex. Muta clutches his back, selling the maneuver. Steamboat pulls Muta to his feet and whips him off the ropes. He nails Muta with a dropkick as the youngster sprints back towards him. Steamboat quickly gets up and runs off the ropes building up momentum for a flying chop to the downed Muta.
Muta attempts to roll away, but Steamboat wrangles him to his feet and nails him with several stiff chops to his chest. Muta absorbs the blows and is whipped off the ropes again. As he is propelled forward, Muta begins hand springing; he rebounds off the ropes in the upside-down vertical position and comes flying back at Steamboat with a back-spring elbow. The move surprises Steamboat, who takes the move flush.
Muta picks up the Dragon and executes a belly to back suplex. He bridges the maneuver and gets a quick one count. Undeterred, Muta gets up and drops a quick elbow on his opponent. Steamboat rolls away in pain. Muta bounces off the ropes and nails Steamboat with a dropkick as he rises. He throws several more karate style kicks to Steamboats ribs as he leans against the ropes to stay erect.
The youngster is firmly in control and nails a Northern Lights suplex. The referee counts two, before Steamboat rolls a shoulder up. Muta quickly attempts to grab Steamboat, but the veteran rolls him up in a small package. Muta is able to muscle out of the pin attempt at two.
Both wrestlers stand simultaneously. Muta rushes forward, but is caught by a deep armdrag. He rolls out of the move and springs up in one motion. He attempts to rush Steamboat, but “the Dragon” leapfrogs him. Muta’s momentum propels him toward the ropes. He rebounds off into a Steamboat knifehand. The force of the blow almost flips Muta.
Steamboat picks Muta up and locks him in an abdominal stretch. The youngster shakes his head resolutely whenever the referee asks if he is ready to give up; but he is in obvious pain. After several moments in the hold, Muta works up the strength to hip toss Steamboat and break the hold. Steamboat reverses the move, however, and winds up hiptossing Muta.
Muta bounces off the mat and springs up to his feet, but he is met with a Steamboat flying head scissors. Steamboat holds the head scissors, but Muta kips out of them and drives a quick elbow onto the prone Steamboat.
Both wrestlers struggle to get up off the mat. Muta throws a stiff uppercut chop; rocking Steamboat. Steamboat falls into the ropes as uses them to stay erect. Muta applies a wristlock, but throws an up kick under the exposed arm of Steamboat. The move crumbles Steamboat. Muta climbs the top rope and signals for the Moonsault. Steamboat rolls out of the way at the last instant.
Muta clutches his abdomen in agony as Steamboat makes it to his feet. Steamboat approaches Muta from behind and applies the Dragon Sleeper! Muta struggles against the hold, but Steamboat holds it firmly in place. After several tense moments, Pringle tosses in the towel; saving his client. Steamboat has his arm raised as Pringle rushes into the ring to check on his prone client. Eventually, Steamboat walks over and helps Pringle lift Muta to his feet. The crowd cheers as Steamboat lifts Muta’s arm as a sign of respect.
(The show goes to commercial)
Segment 7
The show returns with Roddy Piper tearing apart a back stage dressing room. He is red-faced and furious; smashing lockers with chairs, kicking over trash cans and throwing suitcases and furniture around. He looks into the camera wild-eyed.
Piper- You think you can jump me from behind on my own show, T? You think it’s that easy? You think this is OVER?
No, no, no, no...it ain’t over. Not by a longshot, Hollywood. You had your chance to get out, but you were too cute. Now I’m sending you back to Hollywood in an ambulance. You could have left ashamed. Now you’re going to leave hurt. You hear me T?
Segment 8
The show cuts back to the center of the ring where Slick and the WWF tag-team champions, the Dream Team, stand. Slick has a microphone and calls for the crowd’s attention.
Slick- Pardon me, ladies and gents. Yours truly, The Doctor of Style, would like to direct your attention to the center of the ring where my clients Brutis Beefcake and Greg Valentine stand. As we all know, these me are the undeniable, incomparable and undefeatable tag-team champions of the world. Or should I say, as MOST of you know? You see brothers and sisters there are still three members of this prestigious organization that cannot understand that simple fact.
Now granted, Capt. Lou and his British Bulldogs aren’t the most brilliant individuals on this planet, but you would think even THEY would recognize that my clients are the rightful champions. Instead, they keep at this charade like we owe them title shot after title shot. It’s not fair to my clients, it’s not fair to the other deserving tag teams in the WWF and it’s not fair to you fans.
(the fans begin to boo...)
I see that you agree with my assessment of the situation and you have EVERY right to be angry good people. (The fans ire intensifies) With that being said, I would like to call the Bulldogs and there sloppy fat manager out here to make an announcement. So come on out! We know you are still back there.
(After a few moments, The Bulldogs and Albano come out in street clothes. They start making their way to the ring, but Slick stops them.)
Slick- You can stop right there! You only need to hear this; there is no need to take another step. Seems to me, you two have had enough time in the same ring with my clients.
That being said, you boys get ONE more shot at us and we are moving on. You understand? No more excuses, no more crying, no more anything…You got that?
(The Bulldogs nod, obviously miffed. As they turn around to walk back to the dressing room, the show cuts back to the studio.)
Gorilla- Wow, two pretty interesting interviews, Brain. What do you think about the reactions of the Dream Team and the Rowdy Scot?
Heenan- Well Gorilla, Slick brings up a valid point. Just how many return shots do the Bulldogs need? Seems to me they can’t get the job done. It may be time to move on.
Gorilla- The main argument to your point is that the Dream Team hasn’t won a single one of those rematches, since they stole the titles from the British Bulldogs.
Heenan- Who’s the champs again?
Gorilla- The Dream Team.
Heenan- Exactly. What were you saying about Piper again?
Gorilla- I was going to comment about the Bulldogs.
Heenan- Day late and a dollar short, Gorilla. We were just talking about them. That’s old news.

Heenan- Old news. You’ve got to quit living in the past. Move forward for Christ’s sake!
Gorilla- (Throws his hands up in frustration) We’ll be right back. (He stares at Heenan in disgust)

(The show returns to the studio)
Gorilla- Well folks up next we have more tag team action when the Hart Foundation and the Killer Bs meet in the ring, Randy Savage is presented the Intercontinental title belt in a ceremony and Hulk Hogan responds to Superstar Billy Graham’s accusations from Sunday afternoon in Rochester, NY.
The Killer Bs (B. Brian Blair and “Jumping” Jim Brunzell) vs. The Hart Foundation (Brett “The Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart)
Blair and Neidhart start off the contest. The two competitors lock up. The much larger Neidhart immediately backs Blair against the ropes. The referee calls for the break. Neidhart complies and releases Blair. The same sequence happens again, however. The second time, Neidhart uses the opportunity to cheapshots Blair and gain the advantage.
Neidhart softens Blair up with a few axhandle slams and picks him up for a quick bodyslam. He tags his partner and holds an exposed Blair. Hart uses the opportunity to take a fee shot at Blair.
Hart stomps Blair, before picking him up and giving him a suplex. The move jars Blair. Hart grabs his legs and delivers a viscous stomp to his midsection. He quickly tags in Neidhart.
“The Anvil” comes in a pulls Blair up by his hair. He hoists Blair up on his shoulder and drops him throat first on the top rope. As Blair thrashes around on the matt, Neidhart stomps away at him. Neidhart picks up his opponent and whips him off the ropes. He catches Blair off the rebound and delivers a viscous powerslam. He gets a one count, before Blair lifts his shoulder.
Hart tags in his partner and applies a wristlock. Hart comes off the top rope with an elbow to Blair’s exposed arm. He maintains his team’s advantage by chicken-winging Blair’s arm behind his back and bodyslamming him on it. He applies an armbar and sits down on it. Blair struggles to make it to the ropes, but eventually does. Hart is slow to release the hold, but does so before he is disqualified. He tags in “The Anvil” and holds Blair’s arms behind his back. As Neidhart attempts to punch Blair, he reverse Hart. Hart eats the punch. Neidhart checks on his partner, but Blair dropkicks him. The force of the move puts “The Anvil” on his back.
Blair quickly tags in his partner. The fresh Brunzell quickly comes in a wrecks house; taking out Hart and Neidhart as they attempt to swing the momentum of the match back their way.
Brunzell hits two huge dropkicks on Neidhart. He goes for the pin, but the big man kicks out. Brunzell whips him into the corner. He follows him and monkey flips him out to the center of the ring. As Brunzell continues his offense, The Rougue Brothers make their way down to ringside.
Jimmy Hart yells at them with his mega-phone, but the match continues. Brunzell whips Neidhart off the ropes and attempts a cross-bodyblock, but the big heel catches him in mid-air. He marches around the ring with his new trophy, but doesn’t notice Brunzell tag his partner as he walks him by.
The Rougue Brothers take the opportunity to taunt Neidhart after he viscously slams Brunzell. Thinking he is in control, Neidhart responds to their taunts. As he does, Blair sneaks in and applies an inside cradle. The ref counts 1…2…3! The Bs sneak out a win!
Segment 10
(The scene shifts back to the dressing room where Hulk Hogan and “Mean” Gene Okerland wait)
Okerland- Champ, “The Superstar” had some stern words about you the other night on Superstars. I know this is an emotional time for you, but we’d like to get your thoughts.
Hogan- (Obviously upset) Well Mean Gene, it has been a tough few days for me and my Hulkamaniacs. We went from winning one of the biggest matches of my career to finding out that win was tainted. Let me just say right now, I have talked with WWF officials and have vacated that win. According to the record books, it NEVER happened.
Now I know that isn’t enough for Billy Graham. I get it, brother. You want your shot. You want to end this. Well, that makes two of us. I’m tired of you trashing me, this belt, my nation Hulkamania and the WWF. Every opportunity you get, you have to trash the organization that made you and I’ve had enough of it!
So you want a rematch? Well, you got it, Fallen Star. I’m not scared of you. I’m not impressed by you. All I want is my opportunity to shut you up once and for all!
So Billy Graham, what you gonna do when the 24 inch pythons, my nation of Hulkamania and your truly run wild on you? Make no mistake, brother. We are coming for you. God help you, when we arrive!
Segment 11
WWF official, Jack Tunney, waits in the ring with a case. The music of “The Macho Man” Randy Savage hits as he and his manager, Miss Elizabeth, make their way down to ringside.
Savage makes it to the ring and mounts each turnbuckle, showing off for the crowd. He is obviously excited about his big win for the Intercontinental title on Saturday Night’s Main Event. He calls for the microphone.
Savage- Ooooooooo YEAH! Psyched out, psyched out! I am so ready to get my new belt! For the fans out there that don’t know, the shape in which I inherited the Intercontinental Championship belt was unacceptable for a champion such as myself. Not enough gold, not enough polish, not enough MACHO for a man like me. So as soon as I got back to the dressing room. I turned it back in to the WWF and told them to get it right! I’m ready for my belt, Tunney! Give it to me!
Tunney- Well Mr. Savage, we did clean your belt. We also placed your name on it, as is customary. As much as it pains me, your belt is now ready.
(He opens the case, but it is empty. Savage snatches the empty case and looks in it. He is obviously upset. As he yells at Tunney, Tito Santana appears in the runway with a microphone and the IC title. His leg is still heavily taped.) Santana- Hey Macho Man, look here! I think I may have something of yours!
(Savage looks up and points down to Santana. He is furious)
Savage- Give me my belt! I beat you! I beat you!
Santana- Yeah, you beat me. I just find it funny how you failed to mention how you jumped me from behind hours prior to our match. You see fans, as I was getting ready this cowardly dog decided to take a chair to my right knee. Make no mistake, Randy, you got me good. The doctor’s say I’m injured pretty badly, but if you think I’m going to let you just have this belt… (he pauses an angry smile on his face. He slowly places the belt on the ground in front him. )
Randy, you want this belt. Come down here and take it from me.
Savage- (yelling into the microphone) I already have! I already have! Tunney, go down there and get my belt! Go get it!
(The camera fades as Santana waits over the belt with his arms crossed.)

McMahon- Welcome everyone to Saturday Night’s Main Event in Cleveland, Ohio! I’m Vince McMahon with my broadcast partner, Jesse “The Body” Ventura! Jesse, the fall-out from last week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event is still being felt by the fans of the World Wrestling Federation! Hopefully we can get this all sorted out this week.
Ventura- There really isn’t a lot to sort out. Our champion, Hulk Hogan, picked up a tainted win, last week! Now he has to own up to it! Pure and simple, he didn’t beat “Superstar” Billy Graham fair and square. He needed the help of the referee. I’m not saying it was intentional, but it looks awful suspect from where I was sitting.
McMahon- Are you accusing referee Earl Hebner and Hulk Hogan of collusion?
Ventura- I’m saying appearance is everything. It doesn’t matter what I think, but I’m not the only one that wonders how legit Hogan’s title reign is now.
McMahon- Hopefully, we can get this all sorted out on Piper’s Pit tonight.
Ventura- We will see. We will see. Right now I think the Heenan Family has something going on in the ring.
SEGMENT 1
Bobby “The Brain” Heenan stands at a podium set up in the ring. The members of his “Family”, Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, “The King” Harley Race and Haku, solemnly stand behind him.
A huge funeral wreath with Jake “The Snake” Roberts’s picture in the center of it is set up in the middle of the ring.
Heenan- Ladies and gentleman, if I could have your attention please. The members of the Heenan Family are taking time to remember the career of “The Snake” Jake Roberts. A career, by the way, that was ended by the man standing behind me, Haku.
Vince- (whispering in disgust) Good grief!
Ventura- Have some respect would you?
Heenan- Jake Roberts was one tough hombre, as anyone in this business will tell you. The son of a wrestler, Roberts was known as an intense competitor, an intelligent matt general and a master psychology. He terrified almost every man he stepped in the ring with. Pro wrestling and the WWF will truly be less now that this once talented performer has been forced to retire after sustaining serious injuries at the hands of Haku.
(The fans begin to boo)
I, for one hope, that a valuable lesson has been learned by this tragic incident. The WWF cannot afford to lose talented workers as result of careless actions. As great as Jake Roberts was, he played with fire and he got burned. It is a sad waste of a career that did not have to happen. Now a man has been deprived of his livelihood, his family will be forced to take care of him and the fans of the WWF will be denied the services of one of its most popular wrestlers. It is truly a shame.
We ask you all to pause with us and respect a moment of silence for Jake Roberts.
(The fans boo as Heenan and his wrestlers bow their heads. After a few moments the ring bell sounds three times. Heenan and his wrestlers step before the wreath one by one and pay their respects. Haku waits until last. He steps forward and looks somberly at the wreath. He closes his eyes for a moment, but begins to shake. His eyes burst open and he lets loose a blood curdling scream. He viscously thrust kicks the wreath, sending Jake Robert’s picture flying. He spits at the shattered picture, before storming away in disgust.)
Ventura- Well, I guess we know how Haku feels about it.
McMahon- Disgusting. Just disgusting how Heenan and his crew could mock Jake Robert’s injuries like that.
Segment 2
Percy Pringle is walking back stage when he is cornered by Mr. Fuji and Don Murraco.
Fuji- Peersay! How yooo doing? Ha ha ha ha! So good to see yooo. I bin looking fo yooo. We needta talk about you client Muta. My man wanta match and I wanna talk to heem. That ok?
(Murraco crosses his arms with a scowl on his face. Pringle is shaking as Fuji invades his personal space with a sinister grin on his face)
Pringle- W-W-Well I’ll ha-ha-have to t-talk to my cl-cli-client about this. I j-ju-just can’t th-thr-throw him in the r-r-ring like th-that.
(Murraco grabs Pringle by the shirt)
Murraco-I think your client will say yes. So go get him and tell him to get ready to get his hind end kicked.
(Ricky Steamboat rushes in causing Murraco and Fuji to back up. Steamboat stares them down as he speaks to Pringle.)
Steamboat- Everything ok here, Percy?
Pringle- Fine th-thanks, Ri-Ric-Ricky.
Steamboat- Great, Percy. Why don’t you go talk to Kenjoh and get out of here? You two got a problem with that?
(Both heels shake their heads with evil grins on their faces as Pringle rushes away to his dressing room.)
Segment 3
The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid) vs. Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Saggs)
Kid and Saggs start the match up. Kid attempts to lock up, but Saggs scratches his eyes and starts slamming forearms down on the back of Dynamite’s head. The blows force the British wrestler to his knees. Saggs takes the opportunity to begin stomping dynamite, forcing him to his back.
Saggs briefly taunts the crowd and jumps down to begin Dynamite with two hands. The referee forces a break with a five count, but Saggs stands up and begins choking the Kid with his foot. The referee breaks the tactic up with another count. Sags smarts off at him and tags in Knobbs. The two heels wail away at their opponent with stomps until the referee grabs Saggs and tells him to get out of the ring.
Knobbs screams in Dynamite’s face and rakes him across the eyes. Dynamite falls into the turnbuckle, but is followed by Knobbs who unleashes a few stiff kicks to the gut. Sensing the Kid is reeling; Knobbs whips him into the opposite corner and attempts to follow him in with a clothesline.
The Kid raises his foot at the last moment. Knobbs eats it and crumbles to the mat. Kid shakes his head to clear the cobwebs. He picks up Knobbs and gives him a stiff right hand. Seizing the momentum, Kid whips Saggs off the ropes and lands a hard running clothesline. As Knobbs rolls around on the ground in pain, Kid tags in his partner.
Smith comes into the ring quickly and hops on Knobbs. He gives him a few European-style forearm smashes. The big heel attempts to fire back with a punch, but smith powers through it and lifts Knobbs up into a vertical suplex. He holds Knobbs upside down for a few moments before dropping back to the mat. The impact rocks the ring.
Smith tags in Dynamite and presses him above his head. As Knobbs gets up, Smith throws Dynamite at him. The Kid shifts in mid-air and catches Knobbs with a flying cross-bodyblock. He gets a two count before Saggs enters the ring and breaks it up.
Kid gets up, obviously annoyed. He executes a snap suplex on Knobbs that causes the heel to clutch his back in obvious pain. The Kid shouts something at Saggs and drops a knee on Knobbs head. Dynamite quickly gets up and executes a falling head butt on his injured opponent. He picks up and injured Knobbs and tags in Smith.
Smith and Kid execute a double dropkick. Smith snatches Knobbs up and picks him up on his shoulder. Knobbs shakes his head in fear as smith gets a running start and drives him into the mat with a running powerslam.
Saggs attempts to break up Smith’s pin attempt, but Dynamite Kid intercepts him with a flying shoulder block. Smith hooks a leg. 1…2…3!
Capt. Lou Albano runs into the ring and hugs his clients! The Bulldogs celebrate for a moment motioning that they deserve the belts.
As they do, Brutis Beefcake and Greg Valentine emerge from the crowd clad in street clothes and armed with chairs. They slide in behind the Bulldogs and lay in wait. As the two British wrestlers turn to leave the ring, the heel tag-team unleashes their sneak attack. Kid and smith collapse under a hail of chair shots. Albano runs over to defend his team, but is brutally shoved out of the ring by Beefcake. Valentine gives Dynamite Kid a brutal groin shot with a chair that doubles him over in agony. Smith rises to his feet only to take a double chair shot from the Dream Team. After a few moments of gloating, The Dream team leaves the ring.
(The show goes to commercial)
Segment 4
Slick is waiting back stage with a big smile on his face as The Dream Team come through the door of his dressing room. He holds his arms out wide as Beefcake and Valentine move forward to embrace him.
Slick- (addressing his clients) You see? I told you it would work. Now let me get what is rightfully yours, gentlemen. (He reaches into a handbag and pulls out the WWF tag team belts and hands it to his clients.)
You see WWF fans, my clients are TIERED of having to deal with these smelly ole dogs! Tonight is just the first step in making sure that they end the constant whining of Albano’s team. One more match Bulldogs! One mo’ match is all you two are gonna get from us! That’s it! The question you need to ask yourselves is ARE YOU GONNA MAKE IT TO THAT MATCH? It ain’t looking to good is it, boys?
(Slick and his team break down laughing as the camera goes back to the ring)
Segment 5
(The action returns to the ring where Big John Studd and Hillbilly Jim prepare to lock up. The stipulation of the match states that the first one to score a bodyslam will win the match. Stud has been so confident that he has put up another $10,000 challenge of his own money if Jim can accomplish the feat.)
Hillbilly Jim vs. Big John Studd in a body slam challenge
Jim and Studd stare at each other from across the ring as the bell rings. Slowly the two approach one another and begin the match. Studd goes for a huge right hand, but Jim ducks under it and fires off some quick punches of his own. Studd is stunned, but stays on his feet.
Jim gets a running start and attempts to knock Studd over with a clothesline, but Big John absorbs the blow and remains standing. Jim bounces off the ropes to gain momentum and throws another clothesline at Studd. The big heel rocks back unsteadily, but remains standing. Jim resolutely shakes his head and cocks his fist back. Instead of firing another punch, he kicks stud square between the legs!
Stud sinks slowly to his knees in agony. Jim appeals to the crowd, who laugh and urge him on. Jim points at Bobby Heenan, at ringside, and picks up his client by the hair.
Jim rams Studd’s head into the turnbuckle and pins him in the corner. Jim fires off a few more punches and waits for Studd to lurch out of the corner.
Jim braces himself and goes for the bodyslam, but doesn’t even manage to get one of Studd’s heels off the ground. Studd takes the opportunity to thumb Jim in the eye. The big hillbilly stumbles towards the ring ropes clutching his face in pain.
Studd shakes his head to clear the cobwebs and slams a huge forearm down on Jim’s back. For the next few minutes, he presses his advantage choking and hitting Jim at every opportunity. Heenan calls for his client to throw Jim out to him.
Studd tosses his opponent over the top rope and blocks the referees view. It is almost comical to watch John Finnegan, the referee, jump up and down and try to get around the massive heel as he calmly holds his arms out and takes one or two steps to obscure his view.
Outside, Heenan smiles and gets a running start at Jim. Jim suddenly bounces up and Heenan almost breaks his neck as he attempts to slam on the brakes. He manages to trip and land at Jim’s feet. Jim snatches him up by the shirt and looks to the crowd. They roar their approval, but the reaction causes Studd to notice what is transpiring.
He hops to the outside and blindsides Jim as he points at Heenan and warns him to stay out of the match. Studd follows up with a few axhandles and rolls his opponent back into the ring.
Jim gets up as Studd attempts to climb over the top rope. Jim grabs the rope and uses it to rack Studd in the crotch. At this point, Studd’s jewels are in bad shape and he just sags on the ropes before he eventually falls over. Jim drops a big elbow on him to maintain his advantage.
Jim picks up Studd and calls for the bodyslam! He manages to scoop one of Studd’s legs off the ground, but is struggling to lift the large man. Studd manages to push him off. Jim stumbles backwards, but runs forward and clips Studd with another punch. Studd sags on the ring ropes for support.
Jim, sensing that Studd’s resolve is crumbling, runs off the ropes. Heenan attempts to trip Jim, but only manages to slightly clip his legs. Jim turns around angrily, however. As he jaws with Heenan, stud quickly approaches from behind. Jim turns around to face his opponent, but Studd picks his distracted foe up and slams him!
Heenan jumps up and down at ringside. Studd rolls out and joins him. They both taunt the big country boy as he slams his fists on the mat in frustration.
Segment 6
(The Rougue Brothers stand backstage with “Mean” Gene Okerland)
Okerland- Gentlemen, it is no secret to WWF fans that you two gentlemen and the Hart Foundation are no strangers to one another. It is apparent that there are issues between you two. What do you think is the cause of all this animosity?
Raymond- Well Gene, the cause of our problem isn’t as important as what we are going to do about it. Me and my brother are tired of all of it. The fact of the matter is that we’ve tried all of the polite and sportsman-like ways to settle this, but it’s gotten to the point where this has just become a fight.
Jacque- And we NEVER back down from a fight! You got that Jimmy Hart? We are through trying to treat your clients like countrymen. The time has come to treat them like the thugs they are! Get ready Brett. Get ready Jim. You asked for a fight and me and my brother are the ones to give it to you.
Okerland- Well, there you have it folks! The brothers from the North are ready for their match tonight! We can hardly wait!
The Rougue Brothers (Jacque and Raymond Rougue) vs. The Hart Foundation (Brett “the Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart
Jacque and Hart begin the match. Jacque gets the early advantage and snags Brett in a reverse chicken wing. Hart manages to reverse the hold, but Jacque snapmares him over. Brett gets up angrily and accuses Rougue of grabbing his hair. The referee gives him a warning as the match continues.
Hart trips his opponent with a drop toehold, but Jacque quickly rolls to his feet and catches Brett in an armdrag as he lurches forward. Brett bounces up and plants a boot into Jacque’s stomach. Jacque doubles over and Brett takes advantage and suplexs his stunned opponent.
Hart stomps Rougue a few times before picking him up and whipping him off the ropes. Hart gets a running start and floors the elder Rougue with a running clothesline. Hart grabs the legs of his floored opponent and gives him a hard stomp in the midsection. He applies a toehold and tags in him partner.
The Anvil drops a heavy elbow on the helpless Rougue. Hart exits the ring as Neidhart stomps away at the hurt Rougue. The big heel picks Rougue up by his arm and deposits him back on the matt with a stiff bodyslam. He unleashes a crazy laugh and yells for Rougue to get up. Rougue starts to stand, but Neidhart knocks him back down with a hard clothesline as he makes it to his feet.
Neidhart tags in his partner. They both pick up Jacque and give him double suplex. The move causes Rougue to clutch his back in pain. Hart attempts a pin, but Jacque quickly kicks out. Hart picks the resilient Canadian up and hurts him with s stiff Russian leg-sweep. Jacque attempts to crawl to his corner, but Hart quickly cuts him off with a series of stomps.
Hart pulls Rougue to his feet and plants him with a stiff back suplex. He goes for a pin, but Rougue kicks out quickly again. Hart moves him a little closer to his corner and tags in his partner. Hart helps slingshot Neidhart into the ring. The big heel waffles Jacque with a hard splash! Neidhart gets up laughing.
Jacque makes another weak attempt to crawl to his corner, Neidhart stands in his way. Neidhart lifts both arms over his head to axhandle his opponent back down to the mat, but Jacque gives him a fist to the gut from his knees. As Neidhart bends over in shock and pain, Rougue clips him with a quick uppercut. Neidhart locks on a front facelock as Rougue inches closer.
Neidhart manages to stop Rougue’s movement. Rougue counters by lifting his opponent and nailing a reverse atomic drop. He quickly bulls forward, after the move, and tags in his brother.
Raymond comes in like a fireball, rocking Neidhart with forearms and punches. Neidhart stumble back into a turnbuckle. Raymond mounts it and rains down punches on Neidhart as the crowd counts along. He jumps down as the referee call for the break. He whips Neidhart across the ring to the opposite corner and follows him in with a clothesline. Neidhart slumps down in the corner in pain.
Raymond shouts few insults a Brett and Jimmy Hart and gets back to work. He drops Neidhart with a side suplex and goes for a pin. Hart quickly runs in and breaks up the attempt.
Undeterred, Raymond picks up Neidhart and whips him off the ropes. The crowd is mildly surprised when Raymond is able to hip toss Neidhart over. The crowd gives Raymond a small pop as he calls for their support.
At this point, Jacque is recovered enough to tag in. The two brothers whip Neidhart off the ropes and flip him high in the air with a double backdrop. Jacque maintains his advantage by locking Neidhart in a rear chinlock. Neidhart struggles for a few minutes as Jacque slings insult at his partner.
Jacque eventually releases the hold and whips Neidhart off the ropes. He makes a costly mistake as he ducks his head for a backdrop. Neidhart spots the telegraph and drops an elbow to the back of Jacque’s head. The move gives Neidhart the opening he needs to make a tag.
Hart rushes toward Jacque, but Rougue leapfrogs him. Hart’s momentum carries him into the ropes. He rebounds off into another Rougue dropkick. Jacque picks the stunned Hart up and attempts to suplex him, but Hart manages to block the maneuver and reverse it!
Both wrestler lie on their backs in pain, the matches pace is beginning to take its toll on all the men involved. Hart gets to his feet and drops an elbow, but Jacque rolls out of the way. Hart jumps up and tries another elbow drop, but Jacque rolls out of the way again! Hart muscles up a 3rd time and drops another elbow! Jacque rolls out the way again, but rolls out of the ring. Luckily for him, he lands on his feet. Unluckily for him, Neidhart clips him with a running clothesline. “The Anvil” pushes his opponent back in the ring. Hart drops an elbow and lands it this time. He gets up and celebrates like he just won the WWF heavyweight belt. The crowd boos him.
Hart shrugs and gets back to work. He gives Jacque a side-backbreaker and leaves him on his knee. He tags in Neidhart who comes in and throws a big boot to an exposed Jacque. Neidhart grabs his injured opponent and picks him up for a bodyslam. Jacque manages to escape out of the backdoor and rolls his opponent up in a schoolboy. The surprised Neidhart manages to kick out at two.
Jacque starts to stand, but Neidhart quickly stands and levels him with a quick clothesline. Neidhart tags in his partner in frustration and locks up Rougue in a full nelson. Hart gets a running start and slams his elbow into Rougue's exposed stomach.
“The Hitman” gets a running start and bounces off the ropes. Jacque starts to stand as Hart comes running at him. Hart goes for cross body block, but Rougue ducks! Hart goes crashing into the matt. Jacque crawls to the corner and tags in his brother. Raymond mounts the tope turnbuckle as Hart struggles to his feet.
Raymond comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick and goes for the cover. Neidhart rushes to break up the pin, but is tackled by Jacque. 1….2…3! The Rougues get the win!
Segment 7
The scene shifts to the parking lot where Hulk Hogan pulls up on a motorcycle. The fans pop as Hogan parks the bike and puts his bag on his shoulder. He walks towards the dressing rooms with a determined look on his face.
Segment 8
Kenjoh Muta (with Percy Pringle) vs. “The Magnificent” Don Murraco
Before the match begins, Fuji stands up on the ring apron and begins conversing with Muta in Japanese. The two have a heated exchange and Fuji obviously says something that gets under the new comers skin. As Fuji drops back down to the floor, Muta walks over to continue talking to him. As he leans over the ropes to say something, Murraco takes the opportunity to sucker punch the distracted youngster.
The referee has no choice but to call for the bell and begin the match. Murraco continues to rough up Muta with a few stiff punches and forearm smashes. Muta tries to escape and recover, but Murraco pins him in the corner and begins ramming his shoulder into Muta’s midsection. The referee tries to split the toe up, but as he gets in between the two, Murraco takes the opportunity to rake Muta’s eyes.
Muta goes to his knees in pain. After listening to the referee’s warning, Murraco gets back to work on Muta. He grabs the young superstar and lifts him up. He sends Muta crashing down on his knee and slams him to the mat. Muta cringes in pain on the mat, but Murraco drops a knee on his prone form.
Murraco is firmly in control of the youngster and spends the next few minutes of the match working him over with back suplexes, body slams, side slams and clotheslines. The big man’s size advantage looks too large for the small new comer to overcome.
Muta is whipped off the ropes and eats a stiff running clothesline. Murraco goes for the pin, but Muta manages to get his shoulder up at the last instant. Frustrated, Murraco picks Muta up and whips him off the ropes. This time Muta ducks under the clothesline. He keeps going off the ropes and Murraco attempts another clothesline. Muta manages to swing under Murraco’s outstretched arm and catch the big man in a crucifix. The big man falls over, but kicks out after a one count.
Muta gets away from his opponent to recover. Murraco rushes forward, but Muta throws a knife-edge chop that sounds out throughout the arena. Murraco attempts to fire back with a haymaker, but Muta dodges it and fires off a quick jumping back kick.
Murraco stumbles back into the ropes, but attempts to fire back a clothesline attempt, Muta ducks under and throws a stiff kick to the small of Murraco’s back. Murraco falls to his knees. Muta takes advantage to jump up and send a flying chop to the top of Murraco’s head. He follows up with a low dropkick that puts Murraco face first on the mat.
Muta applies the bows and arrows on Murraco and rocks back on his back. Careful to keep his shoulders off the mat, the youngster stretches the veteran heel out for the next few minutes. Murraco begs off the referee and holds on. He manages to shift his weight enough to rock Muta back on his shoulders. After a one count, Muta releases the hold.
Murraco is visibly shaken and slowly attempts to stand. Muta whips him into the opposite turnbuckle and performs a quick running backspring elbow. The impact causes Murraco to take a step forward and collapse; ala Ric Flair.
Muta mounts the turnbuckle and executes his patented Moonsault splash! The crowd goes nuts as he goes for the cover. Unfortunately, Fuji throws salt into the newcomers and referee’s eyes as Muta attempts to get the pin. Pringle runs over to protect his client, but Fuji manages to whack him with his cane. Pringle crumbles to the floor in pain.
Fuji enters the ring and helps his client stand up. Murraco and Fuji pound on the blinded Muta as the referee calls for the bell. Murraco plants Muta on his head with his reverse piledriver. The impact causes the crowd to grow silent.
Fuji removes his belt and implores Murraco to use it on Muta. After whipping Muta for a few moments, Murraco ties it around his neck and launches him over the top rope. As Murraco holds Muta aloft. Fuji stands on the ring apron. He gets inches from the newcomer’s face as he chokes and begins speaking to him in Japanese. Muta shakes his head resolutely as Fuji coyly speaks to him.
The crowd pops as Ricky Steamboat runs from the back and sends Fuji and Murraco into retreat. Steamboat helps Muta and Pringle to their feet as Murraco and Fuji scream insults at him from the entrance ramp.
The camera zooms in on Steamboat asking Pringle if he is ok. The show begins to fade to commercial.

Segment 9
The show cuts to “Mean” Gene Okerland with “The Macho Man” Randy Savage and his manager, Miss Elizabeth, back stage in Savage’s locker room. Savage has the Intercontinental belt draped across his shoulder as he prepares to be interviewed. Okerland appears slightly nervous as he begins the interview.
Okerland- Randy, tonight you defend your Intercontinental title in a match against former WWF world heavyweight champion, Bob Backlund. How are you feeling going into this match?
Savage- (pauses and stares at Okerland before answering) How do I feel? What kind of question is that, Okerland? What are you trying to say?
Okerland- Well, I’m just trying to gauge how you are after just recently having your titled returned to you by the WWF after the former champion, Tito Sant-
Savage- YOU MEAN RETURNED TO THE RIGHTFUL CHAMPION DON’T YOU GENE?
Okerland- I’m just asking a question Mr. Savage? No need to –
Savage- Forget it, Mean Gene. The fact of the matter is that Tito Santana stole this belt and the WWF had no choice, but to get it back to the man that won it fair and square. I am so tired of that crippled their taking my lime-light. Most men take their losses like men, but Santana just won’t go away and I’m tired of it. Mark my words Gene; if he sticks his nose in my business tonight it will not be pretty.
Okerland- With all due respect Mr. Savage, Tito Santana feels that you used underhanded tactics to steal that title from him. He is, by all accounts, petitioning Jack Tunney for a rematch with you.
Savage- Is that right, Gene?
Okerland- That is correct.
Savage- Well Tito Santana needs to be careful what he asks for because he just might get it. JUST WATCH WHAT HAPPENS TONIGHT, SANTANA! You are responsible for this. So help me, I’m making an example out of Backlund. DIG IT!!!!
Bob Backlund vs. Randy “The Macho Man, Savage (with Miss Elizabeth) for the Intercontinental title
The bell rings and Savage rushes forward and attempts to catch Backlund by surprise. Backlund executes an expert drop toehold and locks in a rear waistlock. Savage attempts to break the hold by standing, but Backlund tosses him back down on the canvas.
Savage angrily attempts to grab Backlund's hair, but the referee breaks the hold. Backlund transitions to side-headlock and hip tosses Savage to the mat; while retaining his grip. Savage attempts to head scissors out, but Backlund ducks his head at the last minute. Savage pounds the matt in anger, but manages to make it to his knees.
Backlund torques the hold and Savage attempts to punch Backlund in the small of the back. The blow is ineffectual, but Backlund quickly releases the hold and quickly nails Savage with a European forearm smash. Savage’s head snaps back and he slumps against the ropes momentarily. Backlund backs up to the center of the ring and beckons Savage forward.
Savage checks his mouth for blood and glares at Backlund with murderous intent. He moves to lock up, but gouges Backlund’s eyes as he gets close. Backlund grabs his face in pain and Savage lays into him with several stiff punches. As Backlund stumbles, Savage begins kicking him violently. Soon Backlund is on his back and Savage continues his relentless pace by stomping him. The referee finally steps in and breaks it up, but the damage has been done.
Savage gets a running start and drops a viscous kneedrop on the injured star. As Savage begins to stand, he suddenly lurches forward and begins digging his fingers into Backlund’s eyes. The referee steps in and pulls Savage off. The referee gives Savage a stern warning and orders him to keep it clean. Savage doesn’t even acknowledge him.
Backlund makes it to the standing position, but cannot see Savage as he comes crashing in with a running clothesline. The blow damn near knocks Backlund unconscious. Savage grabs the top rope and begins giving Backlund some jumping stomps. The ref begins to step in, but Savage stops and jerks Backlund to his feet by his hair.
Backlund eats three quick jabs before Savage grabs him and throws him over the top rope. The referee begins the ten count as Savage deftly runs to the turnbuckle and mounts it. As Backlund gets to his feet, Savage comes flying off the top rope turnbuckle with flying axhandle. Both competitors crash to the concrete floor in a heap.
Savage eventually recovers and rolls back into the ring. Backlund groggily gets up and just makes it to the ring apron before he is counted out. Savage begins punching the All-American face and slingshots him into the ring.
The fans boo as Savage hold up one finger and begins showboating. Although he has been beaten up badly, Backlund once again makes it to his feet. Savage stalks him and gives him an elbowsmash that knocks the face goofy. When Backlund doesn’t fall, Savage pounds him a few more times with elbows and forearms. Backlund slumps against the ropes and attempts to cover up from the onslaught.
Savage grabs Backlund and gives him a stiff forearm to the throat. As Backlund grabs his throat in pain, Savage scoops him up and slams him in the middle of the ring. Savage quickly mounts the top turnbuckle and signals for his finisher, the flying elbow! After waiting a few moments, he leaps through the air and nails the maneuver. He goes for a cover. 1…2…NO! Savage pulls Backlund’s shoulders off the mat!
Savage drops the limp Backlund and runs back to the turnbuckle. He mounts it again. He pauses for a moment and looks directly at the camera at ringside. “This is your fault Tito!” he screams at the top of his lungs.
He launches himself again and crumples Backlund with another flying elbow! This time he goes for another pin. 1…2…3! The match is over!
Savage allows his hand to be raised by the referee, but quickly shoves him and Miss Elizabeth aside. He leaves the ring in a huff, obviously annoyed and angry.
Segement 10
King Kong Bundy (with Bobby Heenan) vs. Andre the Giant (Lumberjack match)
The lumberjacks begin making their way down to the ring. On the east and south side of the ring are surrounded by Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, The Junkyard Dog, Ric Martel, Billy Jack Haynes, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Hillbilly Jim. The west and north side of the rings are surrounded “The King” Harley Race, Big John Studd, Haku, The Iron Sheik, Nicolia Volkoff and Hercules Hernandez. Each lumberjack is armed with a short leather strap which they may use to ‘encourage’ the wrestlers to reenter the ring.
The crowd buzzes with excitement as King Kong Bundy, flanked by Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, makes his way to the ring. His stablemates all give him a pat on the back and a word of encouragement as he enters the ring.
The crowd explodes as the “8th Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant begins to walk towards the ring. The huge face smiles and waves at the crowd, but as soon as he gets near Heenan and his wrestlers a dark scowl appears on his face. He points a giant finger at them and warns them in his trademark garbley voice not to interfere in his match.
Andre steps over the top rope and begins to stare down Bundy, who menacingly paces back and forth. The referee calls for the bell and the match begins.
Andre steps forward to meet Bundy. The bald giant cracks a forearm across Andre’s face, but the huge face throws a punch right back. Bundy absorbs the blow and fires a punch right back. Andre takes it flush, but returns another shot back at his foe. This routine continues a few more times before Andre begins to get the better of the exchange. After a few of his punches go unanswered, Andre cracks Bundy with a big headbutt. Bundy falls to the mat with a huge crash and unwittingly rolls outside of the ring to recover.
Jim and JYD start slapping Bundy with their straps causing the big man to scurry back into the ring a lot more quickly than a man his size should have a right to move. Bundy gets up and begins yelling at the two faces. His lack of attention to his opponent costs him dearly as Andre spins him around and catches him with a sloppy clothesline. Bundy falls to the mat.
Andre uses all 500 of his pounds and stands on Bundy’s chest. Bundy growns in agony and grabs the rope. The referee calls for the break. Andre complies and steps off. As the referee says something to Andre, Bundy fires off a low blow from his knees.
Andre bends over in pain. Bundy takes advantage and throws huge forearm smashes to the back of Andre’s skull. The big heel pushes Andre into the corner and rams his shoulder into Andre’s midsection. Andre groans in pain. Bundy manages to push Andre through the top and middle rope. Of course, Studd and Haku ‘help’ Andre to the floor.
All six heels run over and begin beating and kicking the huge face as he struggles to get up. Jim rallies the faces and they all run to the Giant’s rescue. A shoving match breaks out and threats are exchanged, but eventually Andre is pushed under the bottom rope.
Bundy uses his new found advantage to stomp the popular face. Andre is at a definite disadvantage on the ground and Bundy seems determined to keep him there. Bundy uses his boot and all 400 pounds of his girth to choke The Giant as the referee attempts to break it up.
Bundy drops a huge elbow on Andre and goes for the cover. He gets a one count before he is thrown off by Andre. He complains to the referee, but slowly gets up and gives Andre more stomps.
Andre begins rising to his feet. Bundy uses stomps and punches to attempt to keep the Giant down, but Andre slowly inches his way to standing. Bundy goes for a body slam as the woozy Giant leans on the ropes. Andre doesn’t even budge. Bundy tries again, but Andre grins and knocks Bundy to the floor with an overhand punch.
Andre picks up Bundy and hits him with a sloppy double-arm suplex. He goes for the cover, but Heenan pops up on the apron and starts yelling. Andre gets up and lumbers towards him. Heenan retreats beside his stable and insults the big man.
Andre steps over the top rope and wades into the fray. Bodies fly as Andre slowly wades through all the heels at ringside in an effort to get Heenan. Andre’s ringside allies run over and a huge brawl breaks out!
Bundy uses the time to recover. He makes it to one knee and clutches his back, but appears to be recovering. Andre begins getting closer to Heenan, but the manger begins sprinting around ringside. Andre lumbers after him, but it is apparent he will not catch him.
Bundy slides out behind his opponent as he passes by. With Andre’s attention on Heenan, Bundy easily smashes him from behind. Bundy rams Andre’s massive head against the ringside railing. Bundy whips Andre into the outside turnbuckle. He gets a running start and goes for the Avalanche, but Andre moves at the last instant. Bundy crumples to the floor.
Andre gets into the ring and waits as Jim, Steamboat and JYD roll Bundy into the ring. Andre jogs forward and executes a splash on Bundy! He goes for the cover, but Heenan runs in and jumps on Andre! The referee calls for the bell as Heenan hangs on to Andre’s back for dear life.
The heels and faces rush into the ring and another brawl breaks out. As the melee sorts itself out, Andre winds up pinning Heenan, Studd and Race in the corner and using his ample backside to crush them. Finally a plethora of referees and backstage officials run from the break and establish order.

Piper’s Pit
Tonight’s guest….Hulk Hogan and “Superstar” Billy Graham
Piper walks out with a look of disgust on his face. He appears angry and annoyed. He whispers something to his neck-brace clad bodyguard, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, and slowly brings the mike to his face. He closes his eyes in frustration and begins speaking.
Piper- You know Ohio, this hasn’t been a great time. You see I’ve had to deal with a wash-up actor attacking me from behind, Paula Orndorff assaulted me and injuring my close friend and bodyguard and now I’m stuck in this rat hole of a town.
(The crowd boos.)
Piper- Yes, I know. If I lived in this cesspool I’d be in a bad mood as well. I mean, how in the hell do you people stand it? All of your sports teams suck, the city smells like sewage and hot garbage and the sheer numbers of fat people that inhabit this place is astounding. I’d suggest tearing this dump down, but where would all the rats and cochroaches go?
(The crowd boos louder)
Yeah, well the truth hurts. My first guest is the co-owner of the WWF. He is man that is trying to cut out the corruption that is our champion, Hulk Hogan. Now, I’m not going to say I see eye to eye with him on everything, but I see what he’s trying to do and I applaud him for it. All of you should as well! Put your hands together for the Superstar!
(Graham strolls out to jeers. Orton and Piper give him a round of applause.)
Graham- Thanks Piper. While I must admit I don’t like your style, I do admire you for thinking enough of the business to try and sweep Hogan’s actor buddy back to Hollywood.
You see Roddy, the WWF is turning into a damned sit com. It’s turning into a cartoon show. It’s not a wrestling show, anymore.
Piper- I agree, Billy. The sport is a mockery off what it once was.
Graham- Of course it is. The reason is because people like Hulk Hogan would rather be a famous personality than a great wrestler. They want the glory, but they don’t want to put the work in.
Just last week on this show, I was robbed! I took all Hogan had and let me tell you it wasn’t much. The fact he would hide behind-
(Hogan’s music hits. He comes out flanked by “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff and Mr. T. The crowd pops. Hogan snatches a mike and gets right in Graham’s face.)
Hogan- (in a low voice) I’m tired of you running down my Hulkamaniacs, the WWF and yours truly. You understand me, Billy?
Graham- (getting nose to nose with Hogan) Really champ? What are you going to do about it? Hide behind your ref? Go make an album? Maybe you could get your actor buddy there to-
Hogan- Be quite! I’m tired of your lip! You want another shot at me? Next week bring your two buddies here and meet the three of us in that ring. You think he’s just another actor? Try him on for size in the ring, Billy.
Graham- You got it! It will be my pleasure.
Piper- It will be our pleasure too!
Hogan- Fine. Next week we get down to the nitty gritty and settle this. No excuses, Graham. I didn’t beat you last week. I had the win vacated. Me and you need to get in the ring and settle this. I owe you a match and I aim to see you get it.
Graham- We will see, Hogan. Until I see you across the ring from me, you are still just a sham in my eyes. You got that?
Hogan- I have more than you can handle, old man!
(The three workers get nose to nose as WWF officials run out and get between them. The camera fades with all three standing inches from one another.)

Following Saturday Night's Main Event, Pat Patterson and Blackjack Lanza tracked down Vince before he got on the plane to head to Cincanati.
Patterson- (red-face and out of breath) We have a situation, Vince. Horrible news. We tried to get you before you left your hotel, but you were all ready in route here.
Lanza-T went and hurt himself, boss. He and Hogan were fusking around back stage and T broke his coller bone! I have no idea how long he will be out.
Vince- (closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in frustration) All right. We've got to figure something out. I've got an idea...
Steamboat's mood has been improving. While he is still skeptical about the type of work he is doing, he loves working with Muta and has taken a mentor-like role with the new-comer.
Beefcake's attitude is starting to rankle the soft-spoken Greg Valentine. Valentine is tired of hearing second-hand that Beefcake thinks he is too good and marketable to be in their tag-team. He has met with the backstage agents to clear everything up, but Beefcake denied everything and got indignant with "the Hammer" over his percieved disrespect.
Talent scouts are reporting that World Class Wrestling is having a hard month. Several wrestlers in the promotion have turned Vince's head. Rick Rude, The Dingo Warrior and Kerry Von Erich all have the 'look' that Vince likes. Pringle, who managed Rude and Warrior, has been in contact and is attempting to work something out.

SEGMENT 1
Billy Jack Haynes vs. “Dr. D” David Schultz
The bell rings and Schultz and Haynes lock up. The crafty veteran heel gives a quick knee to Haynes groin, staggering him. Schultz maintains his advantage by throwing a few overhand rights and uppercuts. He backs Haynes into a corner and uses his forearm to choke the big man. The referee uses his count to break the move up. Schultz goes to whip Haynes into the opposite corner, but the face reverses the move. Schultz slams into the corner and comes tiptoeing out, holding his back in pain. Haynes gets up a head of steam and flattens “Dr. D” with a running clothesline.
Fired up now, Haynes snatches up Schultz and flips him over with a vertical suplex. After working over Schultz with several high-powered slams, backbreakers and a viscous shoulderblock, Haynes calls for the crowd’s support.
The crowd lets loose with roar as Haynes presses “Dr. D” over his head. Rather than slamming him immediately, Haynes walks around the ring with his opponent over his head. Schultz begs the big man to set him down. Haynes obliges by slamming Schultz to the mat.
As Schultz struggles to his feet, Haynes approaches him from behind. Billy Jack applies the full-nelson as Shultz struggles in pain. In a few short seconds, Schultz gives in and asks the referee to end the match.
SEGMENT 2
The scene shifts to the locker room, where Slick is watching the television screen. He looks impressed with what he is watching.
Slick- Brother Hercules, come over here my man!
(Hercules Hernandez strolls over and begins staring at the screen.)
Slick- Man! That Billy Jack Haynes sure is something ain’t he? That is a bad man. Some folks say he may be the strongest guy in the WWF today.
Hercules- Some folks, huh?
Slick- Not me, my brother! I know who that man is! I’m staring at him right now, but SOME people think Haynes is the big dog in the yard with that full nelson of his.
Hercules- Some people aren’t looking at their television. Some people are just too dumb to recognize a god amongst mortals. Some people will need to be shown the light.
Slick- Just how you gonna do that, my brother? I mean Billy jack Haynes never caused you no harm.
Hercules- I’m just going to have to show the world, who the strongest wrestler in this business is. End of story, Slick. I don’t ask questions, I provide answers. The world will see the truth later tonight.
SEGMENT 3
Ric Martel vs. Barry Orton
The match starts off slow. The two lock up a few times and Orton pushes Martel back into the ropes. After a few tense moments, he breaks cleanly every time. Around the fifth time, Orton d3ecided to bypass the rules and attempts a sucker-punch off the break.
Martel blocks the dirty maneuver and fires back with a punch of his own. Orton takes the blow flush and staggers back. Martel quickly floors him with a standing drop kick. Martel spends the next couple of moments rocking Orton with flying head-scissors, body slams, flying shoulder blocks and suplexes. The crowd eats him up.
Finally. Martel suplexes Orton near the ropes and steps to the outside. He slingshots himself over the top rope and lands on Orton with a splash. He quickly gets the pin and celebrates with the crowd.
(The show cuts to commercial)
SEGMENT 4
After the show returns from commercial, the audience sees Jim powers getting ready for his match tonight. His partner, Paul Roma, appears. Rome is ready to compete, but Powers acknowledges him as he continues to lace his boots.
Roma- Jim, I was hoping you would be ready by now. We’ve got a match in a few moments!
Powers- (finishing up lacing his boots) I’m ready! Let’s do this.
Roma- Are you even warmed up?
Powers- Oh yeah! I’m good, man. Let’s go!
Roma- (stops Powers) Hey, I need you to get your head in the game. This is a big match. To be honest, they are all big matches from here on out. We can’t afford any more losses. That means you have to apply yourself.
Powers- Paul, I’ve got it. I promise. No mistakes.
Roma- I hope not, Jim. We’ve been at this for how many years? I’m ready to break through. These guys are former WWF tag champs and it would say a lot if we beat them.
Powers- Well let’s do it then!
Roma- (Smiles and hugs his partner) That’s what I like to hear, man! Beat you to the ring.
(the two exit out of the locker room)
SEGMENT 5
The Iron Sheik and Nicolia Volkoff vs. The Young Stallions (Paul Roma and Jim Powers)
The Stallions run down the ring, obviously fired up. The crowd gives them a nice applause. Volkoff attempts to sing the Russian National anthem after everything calms down, but Powers and Roma spin them around and interrupt.
The four brawl away, but the stallions soon gain the upper hand and Irish whip the two heels into one another! The young faces double-dropkick the Sheik out of the ring and turn their attention to Volkoff. The pair whips the stunned Russian off the ropes and hurt him with a double back-drop!
The referee gets Roma to move to his corner and the match continues. Powers and Roma tag each other in frequently and work the foreign pair over pretty well. Using team work, the up-coming tag team eventually wears the older team down. It would appear that that the Stallions have finally started to use that potential! To end the match, the stallions use their patented Stallion Stampede power slam, where Powers whips an opponent off the ropes and hits the deck. As the opponent hops over him, Roma catches the running mid-air opponent in a powerslam.
SEGMENT 6
Hercules Hernandez vs. S.D. “Special Delivery” Jones
As announcer Howard Finkle attempts to introduce the two wrestlers, Hercules jumps the gun and starts pounding Jones. He knocks Jones down and begins landing some snug knee slams that floor the veteran grappler. Not giving Jones a chance to get his breath, Hercules snatches him up and gives him a strong body slam.
Hercules jaws with the crowd a little before, torturing Jones with more suplexes, slams and backbreakers. The angry heel obviously has a point to make!
After a few minutes of Hercules playing the bully, the big man sneaks up behind Jones and applies THE FULL NELSON!!! That’s right he’s using Billy Jack’s finisher. Jones quickly submits, but Hernandez keeps the hold on and slings him back and forth. After a few tense moments, Hernandez releases the hold. He storms to the back with a giggling Slick trailing behind him.
SEGMENT 7
“The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBase vs. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka
DiBase strolls into the ring and carefully removes his ring attire. As usual, he motions for the microphone. He grabs it from the ring announcer and begins to speak.
DiBase- Jimmy, you aren’t a dumb man. You have seen the drill every time I come out. You know what I’m going to ask. You aren’t the dumb animal the boys in the back say you are. Right now I’m going to offer you-“
Snuka doesn’t wait for DiBase to finish and sprints across the ring to attack him mid-sentence. The veteran wrestler lays into DiBase with some strong punches and chops. DiBase slumps in the corner as Snuka lays into him.
Finally, the referee drags Snuka out of the corner, but DiBase takes the moment to thumb “Superfly” in the eye. He quickly capitalizes on his advantage, by catching Snuka with a running neck breaker as he tries to recover.
Over the next couple of minutes, DiBase takes a very measured approach into dismantling Snuka. He slowly works over Snuka’s left leg with a variety of blows, a spinning toehold and leg jerks. The hobbled Snuka is easy prey for a technical matt wizard like “The Million Dollar Man”. After several short-lived rallies, DiBase appears to have the match well in hand.
The turning point occurs when he whips Snuka off the ropes and goes for a back drop. Snuka leapfrogs DiBase and plants a solid headbutt on him. DiBase tries to counter with a punch, but Snuka blocks it and lands one of his own. DiBase rolls under the ring ropes to catch a breather, but Snuka mounts the top rope!
DiBase spots the high flying face and quickly jumps on the ring apron and grabs the top rope before he can leap off. Snuka loses his balance and crotches himself. DiBase quickly pins him and exits the ring.
SEGMENT 8
At the end of the program, Jack Tunney, the WWF president, comes out to the ring. Both Monsoon and Ventura are confused.
Tunney- To all the fans here in Cincinnati and the fans watching at home, I’m afraid I have a piece of unpleasant news I must deliver. This week’s main event on our Saturday show will not be taking place.
Unfortunately, Mr. T was injured in a mysterious accident back stage last Saturday night. Please understand that there is an on-going investigation into exactly happened. More information will be available tomorrow night on Prime Time Wrestling. What I can tell you is that Mr.T has suffered a broken shoulder and will not be competing in a WWF ring any time soon.

It is a travesty that this thread doesn't get more recognition that it does. Onto the review.
Segment 1: Backstage I LOVE how much insight you give on the backstage stuff in your posts. People who like the Dolph Ziggler thread need to look here. It's done much better in this BTB. Also, Rhodes himself should look here to pick up some pointers to make his BTB better. *****/*****
Segment 2: The Show Begins Way to kick off the show. A good display of match writing skills. It's a shame that people only seem to get into modern day BTBs. This is a gem. All of the things you do, you do so well. The only reason this score is as low as it is, is because I don't care much for either wrestler. ***
Segment 3: Brother Herc It's hard for me to review your show, because I don't really have much bad to say, lol. I like this segment, but it could have been a tad longer. ***
Segment 4: Bob's Your Uncle Another good match, although it was short. I don't think Superstars is meant to have too many long segments though. ***
Segment 5: Forever Young I'll roll both Stallion segments over here. The backstage promo was well done. It just shows that these two guys are trying to get their heads in the game. But...where's the end of the match? It went missing, I guess. Disappointing. I'll assume the Stallions got the pin over the veterans. **
Segment 6: Herc Smash The big man makes his point by squashing SD. I kinda like SD, so I'm sad now. ***
Segment 7: A Million Dollar Win Well done main event, I just wish it had been given more time. Both guys deserve a lot of attention. Ted deserves to go over here though. ***
Segment 8: T Bone-D I like the insight here, BUT I wish the company would have given us something to replace it with. Or if he announced it at the top of the program, so it wouldn't be as jolting to the fans. **
Overall I'm going to try and review more often. Hopefully, with the higher profile shows I can give more in depth reviews. TUNE IN PEOPLE!!! This thread deserves it. ***

Commentators – Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
The intro for Prime Time flashes across the screen
Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan sit in studio in tailored suits.
Gorilla- Welcome everyone to Prime Time Wrestling in Indianapolis, Indiana! I’m Gorilla Monsoon with my partner, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. We’ve got a great show for you this week and of course there will be much discussion about the mysterious injury of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Mr. T! Do you have any theories about what happened, Brain? The locker room is ablaze with speculation.
Heenan- There is no telling, Monsoon. You know that guy rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. He had a lot of enemies.
Gorilla- What on earth are you talking about, Brain? I can only think of two individuals who had a serious problem with him.
Heenan-Well, its all speculation at this point.
Gorilla- That remains to be seen. On to our opening match….your client, Haku against promising new-comer, Brady Boone. Why aren’t you with your client, Brain?
Heenan-He doesn’t need me for Brady Boone. Brady Boone needs someone, though.
Gorilla- Who?
Heenan-After the match, he’ll need a doctor.
Segment 1
Brady Boone vs. Haku
The young new-comer dodges Haku’s initial charge. Attempting to seize an advantage, Boone throws a dropkick, but Haku just absorbs most of it and shakes it off. Boone grabs his wrist and attempts to whip the Samoan monster off the ropes, but Haku reverses it.
Boone rebounds off the ropes and Haku knocks him down with shoulderblock. Boone stares up in shock. He had a full head of steam and he didn’t budge Haku! Haku snatches his bewildered opponent up and plants crossed forearms in his throat.
Over the next few minutes, Haku brutalizes Boone with a variety of brutal attacks. He chokes, chops, stomps, claws and slams the young high-flier into a pulp. When he finally ends the match with a thrust kick it is almost merciful.
(Back in the studio Gorilla and Heenan look on.)
Gorilla- Your client is really on a roll, Brain. He just dismantled poor Brady Boone. Made it look easy.
Heenan- Yeah, ever since he ended Jake Roberts’s career, Haku has been unstoppable. The guy seems to have gotten new life from the whole processes. I’ve never seen him so happy.
Gorilla- (Rolls his eyes) Again, Bobby? Can’t you just leave Jake Robert’s alone? The man has been through a lot. His career is over. Why can’t you just let it go?
Heenan- What? I’m just telling you why Haku is on a roll. That is insight, Monsoon. That’s my job as an announcer right?
Gorilla- It’s called being a jerk.
Heenan- Wow, I’ll be quite. Won’t hear another peep out of me.
Gorilla- Anyway, back to Indy.
Segment 2
(Slick is walking backstage, when he is confronted by Capt. Lou Albano. Albano gets up in Slick’s face and presses him up against the wall. Slick begs off and holds his arms out to show he wants no trouble.)
Slick- Now, now, now Lou! Check yourself, man! Calm down! You just need to slow up!
Albano- I tell you what Slick, my boys are going to rip your guys apart tonight. After the crap you and your guys pulled last week, I should just give-
Slick- Lou, you well and good that your boys don’t have their shot yet, Lou. That is still a ways off.
Albano- (smiling) You haven’t heard? Our clients are booked in SINGLES matches tonight. Davey is getting Beefcake and The Kid is going one on one with Valentine. Your guys have to pay the piper, tonight! How does that grab you?
Slick- Well, I…You see…This is….
Albano- (releasing Slick) If you even think of interfering, I’ll be there, Slick. Don’t even think about it.
Segment 3
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat vs. “The Magnificent” Don Murraco
The two stars cautiously circle one another. Murraco holds up one hand, inviting Steamboat to enter into a test of strength with him. Steamboat looks to the crowd. The crowd cheers enthusiastically and Steamboat tentatively holds up his hand. Murraco goes to lock fingers, but Steamboat drops it and holds up his other hand. Murraco drops his hand and raises his opposite hand accordingly. Steamboat drops that hand and holds up his original hand. Murraco attempts to grasp it quickly, but Steamboat quickly dodges it and holds up his other hand. The pace of this exchange goes faster and faster until Steamboat abruptly stops. Murraco continues to move his hands up and down until he realizes what is going on. The crowd gets a chuckle as Murraco gets angry.
A frustrated Murraco attempts to kick Steamboat in the stomach, but Steamboat catches his foot. Murraco hops on one foot and begs as Steamboat holds his leg. Steamboat quickly spins Murraco around and nails him with an atomic drop. The big man crumbles to his knees in pain.
Steamboat quickly gets Murraco to his feet and nails him with some loud knife-edge chops. “The Dragon” is obviously not playing around tonight! As Murraco clutches his reddened chest, Steamboat grabs his hair and puts him on his back with an overhand chop.
Fuji starts complaining to the ref from the outside. Steamboat quickly rushes to the ropes and backs the wily manger away from the ring. As he returns to Murraco, the big heel crotches him from his knees. Murraco slowly rises to his feet and gives the injured Steamboat and quick rake of the eyes to further incapacitate him.
Steamboat leans against the ropes in pain. Murraco follows up his dirty tactics with an elbow to the back of Steamboats head. As the referee tries to get the action to the center of the ring, Murraco fires off another rapid series of elbows that drives “The Dragon” to his knees.
The referee ushers Murraco to the center of the ring. The big heel argues with the referee. While his attention is turned, Fuji whacks Steamboat in the ribs with his cane. The crowd voices its outrage and referee finally turns back around, but the damage has been done.
Murraco quickly starts stomping Steamboat as he lies on the matt in pain. The big heel is brutal and effective and follows up the flurry with a hard knee to Steamboat’s back. Using the ropes to provide extra leverage, “The Magnificent One” lands some jumping stomps to Steamboat’s head and back. The big heel is on a roll and quite angry.
He works over Steamboat over for the next few minutes using a variety of body slams, backbreakers, and side slams to weaken Steamboat’s back. He tries to get several pins, but “The Dragon” proves his mettle by kicking out each time.
As this beating continues, Kenjoh Muta makes his way to ringside. Fuji shouts something at him, but he waves the manger off and focuses on his mentor and ally. Murraco continues his slow and methodical attack, but the presence of Muta seems to hearten Steamboat.
After a few minutes of Fuji’s constant taunting, Muta starts walking towards him. The manager doesn’t even flinch as Muta gets closer. Just when Muta is almost within arm’s length, Fuji says something that stops the young new-comer cold. Whatever the Japanese words meant, they obviously have an effect on Muta. He appears shaken as Fuji laughs. Fuji begins speaking more Japanese, but Muta shakes his head and storms to the other side of the ring. Fuji chuckles to himself as the newcomer turns his back and leaves him.
Meanwhile, Murraco appears to have the match well in hand. He calls for his reverse piledriver. As he lifts Steamboat up, “The Dragon” hops out the backdoor. As Murraco turns around, Steamboat runs off the ropes and cracks him with a jumping chop.
Steamboat uses his new-found advantage to clip Murraco with a variety of dropkicks, flying head scissors and drop toe holds. The clean cut hero appears to have the match well in hand. Murraco makes a last ditch effort to change the tide and throws a wild clothesline. Steamboat ducks under and latches on a backslide. The referee goes to count the attempt. 1…2…3!
Steamboat’s tactical mastery has paid off. A furious Fuji storms into the ring and attempts to crack Steamboat with his cane. Steamboat catches the cane in mid-air and snatches it from him. Fuji begs off as Steamboat warns him to leave the ring. Suddenly, Fuji throws salt into Steamboat’s eyes! As Steamboat sinks to his knees in pain, Fuji recover his cane. He lifts it over his head, but Muta steps in between Steamboat and the manger.
Muta crouches down and appears ready to attack Fuji, but he just stands over and a continues to protect his mentor. Fuji mutters under his breath, but lowers his cane. He starts yelling at the youngster in their native language as he helps up his exhausted client. Muta resolutely shakes his head no as Fuji leaves the ring with Murraco. Whatever is between the two appears to be serious, but the crowd will have to wait to see what it is all about.
(The show goes to commercial)
Segment 4
(Back in the studio)
Gorilla-What an odd turn of events, Brain. Any idea what that exchange between Fuji and Muta was about? That was very strange.
Heenan- Whatever it was, you can bet that Fuji has the trump card. Did you see that youngster just freeze? Bet he owes him money.
Gorilla- I doubt that’s it.
Heenan- You think he’s got some fraternity pictures from Muta’s time in college?
Gorilla- we aren’t even sure Muta went to college, Bobby. Why would you-
Heenan- High school! He’s got his senior year book photo! That’s it! It’s got to be!
Gorilla- You are unbelievable. Back to Indianapolis. (Monsoon shakes his head in disgust as the camera fades out.)
Segment 5
Davey Boy Smith (with Capt. Lou Albano) vs. Brutus Beefcake
Smith waste no time taking his frustration out on Beefcake, as he quickly charges across the ring and starts laying the wood to Beefcake. Using stiff forearms and punches, Smith backs the cocky heel into the corner and beats the hell out of him. Smith quickly mounts the second rope and starts firing away punches as the crowd counts along. The count gets up to 11 before the referee finally gets smith to come down.
Smith whips Beefcake into the opposite corner and gets a running start behind him. He mashes Beefcake when he connects with a huge clothesline in the corner. Beefcake stumbles out as Smith backs off, but smith snatches him up in a vertical suplex.
Demonstrating his strength, smith holds Beefcake up in the vertical position for several moments before falling back. Smith quickly rolls over and goes for the pin, but Beefcake manages to kick out.
Smith drags Beefcake to his feet and whips him off the ropes. As Beefcake bounces back, smith catches him in a sleeper hold. Beefcake struggles for a few moments, flinging his arms wildly. As Beefcake’s arms slow down and begin to droop, Slick hops up on the ring apron. The referee runs over to remove him, but Slick adamantly holds on to him explaining some bogus slight. An exasperated Smith releases the hold and rushes over to remove Slick.
Slick hops down to the floor, a smirk on his face. The smirk vanishes as the “Dr. of Style” comes nose to nose with an angry Albano. Albano unleashes an over-exaggerated punch to his counterpart, putting him on his butt. Slick grabs his jaw as the crowd goes wild.
As Albano deals with Slick, Smith gets back to work on Beefcake. Beefcake attempts to change the matches momentum, but Smith blocks his punches and returns some of his own. The British grappler nails Beefcake with a reverse atomic drop and then floors him with a short arm clothesline.
Smith lets Beefcake flounder on the mat and slowly rise to his feet. The heel is obviously rocked. Smith takes the opportunity to scoop up his rival and rest him on his shoulder. He carries him to the corner, gets a running start and…..BOOM! Plants him with a powerslam! He goes for the cover. 1…2…3!
Smith has just dominated Beefcake! The crowd goes wild as Smith and Albano make their way back to the dressing room. The camera fades as we see a shot of Beefcake and Slick sprawled out and beaten.
Segment 6
(The scene shifts to a WWF conference room. Jack Tunney, the head of the WWF’s board of directors, stands behind a podium with several microphones set up. He has a somber and angry look on his face.)
Tunney- I’ve called everyone here today to reveal the findings of the World Wrestling Federation’s investigation into the attack that led to the injury of Mr. T’s shoulder.
Using information we gathered from interviews with Mr. T and some of our backstage staff, we have pieced together what happened last Saturday night in Cincinnati.
After the show, Mr. T was walking backstage towards the parking lot, when two masked individuals attacked him from behind and began beating him with a tire iron. After severely injuring Mr. T’s shoulder, they dumped him into a garbage dumpster and ran away. We cannot positively identify who these two men are, but rest assured we have a list of suspects that we are interviewing thoroughly.
Mr. T has a fractured scapula and a grade three shoulder separation which will require surgery. While he is expected to make a full recovery, it will take him a full year of physical rehabilitation. During this time, he will be unable to compete in the World Wrestling Federation and will be barred from its events for his own safety or until his assailants are uncovered and prosecuted.
The six man tag team match pitting him Hulk Hogan and Paul Orndorff against Roddy Piper, Bob Orton and Billy Graham will still happen, but Mr. Hogan and Mr. Orndorff will be allowed to choose a replacement.
Thank-you for your time and rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to bring Mr. T’s assailants to justice.

Segment 7
(The show returns to the studio)
Gorilla- Disturbing news from Jack Tunney, Brain. What a tough break for Mr. T. Do you think his attackers will be discovered? I mean there are two obvious choices as to who did this. Anyone with half a-
Heenan-Slow down, Monsoon. I know who you are going to say, but in the interest of fairness let’s not name names. There are plenty of people that Mr. T rubbed the wrong way with his cocky Hollywood attitude. Hell, I’ve though about hurting him myself, to be honest.
Gorilla- You?
Heenan- Yeah me. What of it? I didn’t do it, if that’s what you’re asking.
Gorilla- That’s not what I’m implying at all. I think the obvious choice is the two men that he has had problems with since Wrestlemania II, Bob Orton and his boos, Roddy Piper.
Heenan- Speculation and conjecture, Monsoon. I’m sure glad you are not in charge of this investigation. You’d have already convicted them.
Gorilla-(rolls his eyes) Brain….never mind. The Honkeytonk Man and Junkyard dog in action next.
The Junkyard Dog vs. The Honkeytonk Man with Jimmy Hart
The match begins with the HTM offering his hand to the JYD in a show of sportsmanship. JYD refuses and injures the feelings of the HTM, who makes a big show of how badly he is personally affronted. To show that he is serious, he offers referee Earl Hebner his hand. The referee shakes it hesitantly. HTM uses this as an example of why JYD should do it.
JYD shrugs and extends his hand. HTM takes it, but the firm grip of JYD soon sends the Elvis-impersonator to his knees in pain. JYD releases his grip and fires up the crowd with his bark routine.
HTM gets up angry and embarrassed. He slicks back his hair and warns the Dog that he means business. JYD snickers and the two circle each other before locking up. HTM violently pushes JYD away and flexes his biceps to show how strong he is. JYD shrugs and promptly slaps HTM across the face. HTM clutches his cheek and leans underneath to top rope to recover.
He sulks a little while before reentering the ring and locking up again. An angry HTM attempts to catch JYD with a sneaky uppercut, but JYD dodges the blow and answers with an overhand right. HTM throws a jab that catches the JYD, but he returns one of his own. They do the you throw one and I’ll throw one routine before the HTM attempts a quick headbutt. The move actually knocks HIM senseless and he stumbles back.
Junkyard Dog quickly whips his opponent off the ropes and catches him with a loopy clothesline. HTM attempts to crawls away, but JYD catches him by the waistband of his trousers and drags him back to the middle of the ring. HTM gets on his knees and begs JYD to lay off him, but JYD motions him to stand up. HTM attempts to run away, but JYD catches him again. HTM quickly spins around and pokes his opponent in the eyes.
JYD backs up and tries to clear his vision, but the Honkeytonk Man puts a foot into his midsection and follows up with another eye rake. The referee steps in and orders HTM to knock it off, but HTM blows him off and starts wiggling his hips in mockery. Jimmy Hart quickly jumps up on the ring apron and hits a distracted JYD with his megaphone.
The popular face stumbles forward and the HTM catches him in a front facelock. The cowardly heel quickly applies the Shake, Rattle and Roll swinging neckbreaker and pins JYD. 1…2…3!
Hart and his client celebrate his ill gotten victory in the ring, before retiring to the back.
Segment 8
Piper’s Pit
Roddy Piper and “Cowboy” Bob Orton (still clad in his neck brace) make their way to his set. Piper has a smug look on his face as the crowd boos him and his bodyguard.
Piper- Thank-you, Indy. It is always great to be here and get such a LOVELY reception from you. (The crowd boos louder.) I understand why all of you are in a bad mood. It would seem that one of your favorite actors fell down and got a little boo-boo last Saturday after the show!
(The crowd goes off on Piper, throwing drinks at his set.)
Whoa! Good aim there! You almost hit me! I love you people! I mean, I had absolutely nothing to do with that Hollywood pretty boy getting hurt and you throw your refuse at me and Bob here.
(Security manages to get things under control, but the crowd is still angry and restless as Piper continues.)
You see Indianapolis, I don’t need to sneak up on someone like Mr. T to put him out of busy and I’m angry that someone took that opportunity from me! So right now, I’m offering a cash reward for anyone with information on who actually committed this public service.
The men who robbed me of the opportunity to rid this business of that glory hound, while noble, still snatched a tasty morsel off my plate and I just can’t handle it! The thought of not beating up Mr. T this Saturday (he puts his head on Orton’s shoulder and pretends to cry. After a few moments, he stands up and wipes his eyes. Orton offers him a tissue which he declines.) I’m sorry, folks. My disappointment is very deep. I just wanted to kick that actor’s butt so bad, but OH WELL!!!!!
(Piper breaks out in a sinister cackle and drops the microphone. He holds his arms out in mock triumph as he and Orton walk off the set of Pipers Pit. The crowd is infuriated and begins to throw things towards the stage as the show goes to commercial.)
Segment 9
(The show returns to see Ric Martel on a pay phone back stage, rather than the studio.)
Martel- It’s ok, Tito. I’m ready for him tonight. The only thing I regret is that I’m getting a shot at your title tonight.
Thanks, man. I know you mean that. Don’t worry about Savage. I’ve seen all his dirty tricks and I’m ready for him.
No, no, Tito. You need to be there rehabbing your knee so when you get back you can get your shot at the Intercontinental title. Hopefully, that will be against me.
(The camera fades as Martel continues talking. It goes back to the studio.)
Gorilla- A lot going on there, Brain. Up next we have two very interesting match ups, The Dynamite Kid against Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and Randy “Macho Man” Savage defends his Intercontinental tile against the challenge of Ric Martel. Before we talk about those two issues, what in the word was Roddy Piper trying to say before the commercial break?
Heenan- I thought it was obvious. The man is pretty busted up that someone took out Mr. T before he got his chance.
Gorilla- He walked out laughing, brain. Seems very suspicious to me.
Heenan- Roddy is professional. He put it behind him. I’m proud of him Talk about sucking it up.
Gorilla- Good grief.! You actually believe that?
Heenan- Of course, I do. Why wouldn’t you? You are a very suspicious man. Do you know that, Gorilla? Roddy Piper pours his soul out on national TV and all you can do is assume the worst. Sad way to look at things. When did you become so bitter and jaded?
Gorilla- (obviously annoyed) On to our next match. That’s enough of this.
Dynamite Kid vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
Both Valentine and Kid come to the ring without their managers. This seems quite odd, but the two seem ready to compete. The bell rings and Valentine rushes forward. The Dynamite Kid quickly ducks under his assault and catches him with an arm drag as he turns around. Valentine quickly bounces up, but the Kid is ready and takes him to the matt with a drop toe hold.
Valentine quickly rolls towards the ropes and collects himself. The Kid motions for “The Hammer” to come to the center of the ring. Valentine purses his lips in frustration, but moves towards Dynamite.
The Kid quickly transitions their lock up to a waistlock and lifts Valentine into a German suplex! The Kid arches his back, but only gets a one count. Kid quickly gets up and catches Valentine with a dropkick to the chin as he rises.
A stunned Valentine crumples to the ground in a heap, but Kid picks him up and gives him a stiff snap suplex. Kid snatches his opponent up and gives him another quick snap suplex. He picks up Valentine and gives him another snap suplex!! Dynamite goes for the cover, but Valentine barely kicks out.
Dynamite Kid quickly springs up and applies a Boston Crab to Valentine!!! The gruff heel squeals in pain as Dynamite leans back into the hold. After a few moments, Valentine manages to make it to the ropes, but the damage is done .
Kid quickly begins working over Valentine’s back with reverse back-breakers, body slams and forearm smashes to the hurt area. For the next few moments, the match is a squash as Dynamite dominates Valentine. When Dynamite climbs to the top rope and delivers a flying head butt, the match is all ready over. The Kid gets a quick cover and celebrates his victory! The Bulldogs have dominated both their singles matches tonight!
All of a sudden, Davey Boy Smith runs from the back with a worried look on his face, he motions for The Kid to hurry to the back. Smith’s partner has a puzzled look on his face, but jobs to the back to see what the problem is.
Segment 10
(Randy “Macho Man” Savage stands back stage with his manger, Miss Elizabeth, and “Mean” Gene Okerland)
Okerland- Mr. Savage, you are set to defend your title against Ric Martel tonight. What are your thoughts going against Tito Santana’s best friend and do you think the former champion has given Mr. Martel any insights on tonight’s match?
Savage- (Glaring at Okerland) Why do you have to mention that bitter has been in every one of my interviews, Gene?
Okerland-Well, I was merely stating-
Savage-JUST SHUT-UP! I’m talking now, Gene. You’ve had your say. Ric Martel is about to pay a heavy price tonight! Martel, you think you want a shot at this belt? You think that because your broken down buddy is supporting you over the phone that you can beat me? You think that you can get in the ring with me and WALK OUT?
Oh no! Oh no! Tonight the “Macho Man” makes a statement to you, Santana and (as he stares down Okerland) anyone else who doubts what I can do in that ring. I guess destroying Backlund wasn’t enough! Oh no! The WWF just wants more and more blood on its hands. Understand after tonight, this date will be known as Black Monday Night! Just watch! Let’s go Elizabeth!
Segment 11
Ric Martel vs. Randy “The Macho Man” Savage with Miss Elizabeth
The match starts with Martel catching Savage in a wristlock following a lock-up. Savage attempts to make it to the ropes, but Martel jerks his arm and drops the champ to his knees. Martel holds on to the hold a few moments longer, but eventually transitions to a armdrag. He transitions his sequence further by trapping Savage in an arm vise.
The champion is clearly flustered and complains to the referee that Martel pulled his hair to get him down. The referee ignores his pleas and a frustrated Savage slowly works his way to his feet. Martel suddenly releases his hold on Savage’s arm and floors him with a high drop kick. Savage sells the move perfectly and fans gasp as his head bounces off the mat.
Martel moves quickly and gets the champion back on his feet. He picks Savage up in the vertical suplex. Martel attempts a quick cover, but Savage kicks out before a one count. Martel mounts the champ and quickly starts raining down blows to his head and face, much to the crowd’s delight. The referee quickly breaks it up, but Martel gets a running start off the ropes and nails a stunned savage with a running elbow drop.
Savage crawls to the ropes as Martel follows him in hot pursuit. Savage turns Martel’s aggressiveness against him as he gives his unsuspecting tormentor a quick low blow. Savage follows up his ill gotten gains with a scratch to Martel’s eyes and a quick elbow to the back of his head.
Savage takes a few moments to get his bearings as Martel struggles to regain his vision. Savage grabs Martel’s head and rubs his face across the top rope. The referee moves in to break it up, but Savage quickly tosses Martel through the ropes. Martel lands on the floor with a thud. Savage quickly mounts the turnbuckle and goes flying towards Martel with a flying axe handle as he tries to stand. The impact of the move stuns both competitors, but Savage recovers and rolls into the ring. Martel barely beats the ten count as he crawls under the bottom rope.
Savage meets him with some hard stomps and begins choking him out with his boot as he holds the top rope for leverage. The referee breaks up the illegal hold, but Savage complains anyway. Savage leans down to pick up Martel, but Martel wraps him up in a small package! He gets a two count, but Savage manages to grab the bottom rope and reverse the maneuver. 1…2…The referee notices Savage’s hand clutching the bottom rope and breaks up the pin attempt.
Savage gets up and starts arguing with the referee. He is incensed that the referee has robbed him of his victory. He is so focused on the ref that he doesn’t notice Martel stand up behind him. Savage turns around into a hiptoss that flips him over the top rope and to the floor. Martel quickly seizes the advantage and slingshots himself over the top rope and on top of the champion!
After taking a few seconds to recover, Martel rolls Savage into the ring. Martel mounts the ring apron and goes for his finisher the sling-shot splash. The wily champion quickly rolls out of the ring as Martel crashes face first into the canvas.
Savage quickly renters the ring and mounts the top rope. As Martel lies prone on the canvas, Savage launches himself in the air. He comes down with his top rope elbow on Martel’s prone form. He goes for a the cover. 1…2…3! Savage gets the win!
The referee goes to raise his hand in victory, but Savage quickly remounts the top rope and lands another top rope elbowsmash on Martel. Savage mounts the challenger and viscously reins punches down on his face, but Martel appears limp. Finally, multiple referees run down to help pull the champion off the challenger as the show ends.

This is just a recap of the month; my regulars will find some interesting backstage info and people that would like to hop on mid-ride have a decent idea of what is going on and not feel lost.
The last two parts (ECW and the world outside the WWF) are reprinted so new comers won’t have to jump around and find it.
I understand a few things about this diary…
It is a LONG read and many of you don't have the time for that. I like the details of a project like this. For me, the devil isn't in the details; the enjoyment is.
Much of this happened before most of you were born. The characters are forgein and you just don't "get" it. Hey, it's ok. This is when I fell in love with wrestling; its not for everyone. Just remember the time frame and try to get into it
The time line/realism doesn't quite match up with real life. Yes, I have sped some things up and modified history. I'm not dong it to ruin anyone's found memories, I just want to try a few things and see how differant things would have been if....The Great Muta joined the WWF early in his career or if Vince set up a developmental fed early on. It's all conjecture and fantasy, but I enjoy doing it.
With all that in mind, I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I'm enjoying writing it. I have been working on tweeking my layout for the next show. I think it will add a lot to the show. Hope you guys are as excited about it as I am.
The World Wrestling Federation- Monday July 1, 1986
WWF board meeting to review the month of June.
Vince-Well, I have some good things to report and some bad things to report, so I hope you will all be a patient and let me explain.
First of all, we lost money last month. I know that sounds bad, but if we look at the numbers we really didn’t do that bad. We set up a developmental territory, purchased the Monster Factory and had to eat some written contracts to get rid of some dead weight. After that we finished with a net loss of 40 million dollars.
I’m not happy about it, but we will recover it. The business as a whole, is taking a hit right now. We are going to wait this out. Mark my words; we will be the last one standing.
The good news is that our image rose in most people’s eyes and we have attracted new fans that will help us get through this and put us over the top. Right now I’m debating if we need more big Pay-Per-View cards like Mania. I want you all to think about that and get back to me at the end of the month with your opinions
Now on to the show. I think Hogan is doing fantastic right now…

Everyone is happy with the way their careers are turning out. Vince has made good on all of his promises and morale is high, for the most part. Haku is being used as a good example as a guy that has patiently waited his turn and is being rewarded for his patience. Steamboat’s morale has been up in recent weeks, but he remains skeptical about his role in the company. Vince has coddled him in an attempt to keep him satisfied, but other wrestlers are taking notice and wondering if “The Dragon” is a team player.

The animosity between Valentine and Beefcake has cooled a little, but Beefcake’s constant bickering about how their tag team is holding his career back is annoying him and several veterans in the locker room. Bundy is also dissatisfied with his position in the company. He feels he has been marginalized since Wrestlemania II and does not see himself working back towards the main event any time soon. He is being a professional, but he is worried about his diminishing potential in the company. Vince sees him and Studd as a potentially great tag team, but Bundy isn’t so sure.

It is a bitter pill for him to swallow, but he understands how the business works sometimes.

Vince is furious that T put himself in a position to get hurt and severely reprimanded Hogan and Orndorff (who were trying to teach him some holds) for playing a part in the injury. Both men admitted that trying to train an actor on a concrete floor was a dumb idea, but they had the best intentions and meant no harm.
Graham has performed great and Vince has decided to extend his time in the federation after his feud with Hogan has concluded. Graham has become a calming force in the locker room and many of the younger wrestlers have come to look to him for advice.

Hulk Hogan vs. “Superstar” Billy Graham
This bit of match making has exceeded Vince’s wildest expectations. The fans are eating it up. After running down the state of the WWF and its champion, The Superstar’s return to the WWF has been memorable.
The fans despise the former WWF champion for telling them that they are bastardizing the sport he loves and running down their beloved Hulk Hogan as a sell-out and a poor imitation of him.
Flames were further ignited when Hogan got a controversial pinfall over Graham on Saturday Night’s Main Event. The replay clearly showed Graham’s foot on the rope, which should have discounted the pin. Despite the fact Hogan gave the win back, Graham cites it as another example of how Hogan is a phony champion.
The British Bulldogs vs. The Dream Team
After cheating to take the titles from the Bulldogs, Valentine and Beefcake have done everything possible to keep the belts, repeatedly getting disqualified and counted out to avoid dropping the titles to the former champs. After getting jumped from behind and told that they would only be getting one more chance at the titles, The Bulldogs are furious.
They each manhandle the champions in spate singles matches recently, but had the joys of those dominant victories taken from them by a mysterious occurrence back stage.
Randy “The Macho Man” Savage vs. Tito Santana
Savage fumed when Santana won the Intercontinental title and openly questioned if he was worthy of the title. He lifted the title from his hated rival after viscously injuring his knee in a backstage attack. Rather than limping away from the challenge, Santana stole Savage’s IC title and dared him to take it from him, injured or not.
Luckily, WWF officials intervened and kept Savage and Santana from going at it. The incident has left Savage infuriated and he has taken that frustration out on Bob Backlund and Tito’s close friend, Ric Martel. Santana is patiently healing, but this rivalry will be coming to a head.
Andre the Giant and Hillbilly Jim vs. Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy
When the big country boy was attacked by Bobby Heenan’s two titanic clients, he found a big ally in the form of Heenan’s old foe, Andre the Giant. The four big men have brawled back in forth in an effort to eradicate the other giants and be the Big Men in Town. Despite being the smallest man and having injured ribs, Jim has hung in there with the big boys. Who will prevail in this clash of the titans is anyone’s guess.
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs. Paul “Mr. Wonderful” Orndorff
Orndorff was incensed when Piper cheap shotted rival Mr. T after the popular actor called him out. Not wanting T to be double-teamed by Piper and his bodyguard, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, Orndorff took out Orton by injuring his neck. Unfortunately for Mr. T, he was injured and put out with a mysterious back stage attack by two masked assailants. Piper has pled his innocence, but Orndorff has sworn revenge.
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Kenjoh Muta vs. “The Magnificent” Don Murraco and Mr. Fuji
Fuji’s obsession with the young Japanese sensation has turned dangerous after he threatened the young phenom’s manger Percy Pringle III and had Murraco hang Mutoh over the top rope with his tie. Steamboat has intervened on his young protégé’s behalf and kept the evil duo at bay, but what is Fuji’s obsession with Mutoh and what is he threatening him with?
The Fabulous Rougue Brothers vs. The Hart Foundation
After initially trying to befriend the Hart Foundation, due to there common Canadian background, the two brothers have been hot on the cocky heel’s trail. The Foundation has attacked the Rougue’s at every opportunity, but the duo has managed to come out ahead lately, spoiling a match against the Killer B’s and stealing another one from them in the ring. The Hart’s now realize they can’t just blow the brothers off and are ready to take off the kid’s gloves. Who will win this war?
Haku vs. Jake “the Snake” Roberts
After several brutal matches that were damn near censored by WWF television, Haku has apparently won this war. After a brutal cage match, Roberts has been forced to retire due to injuries sustained during and after the match. Heenan, Haku’s manger, brings up Haku’s accomplishment anytime he can. Robert’s humiliation will appear to go unavenged. Who will step up and stop Haku?

A quick synopsis on how the developmental wrestlers are coming along
Al Snow (22 years old) has been using a Rock-n-Roll express type gimmick and seems to be getting over just fine. Vince is in love with his charisma and speed, but wants him to improve his technical wrestling before he brings him up. Writers wonder if he would be better as a tag-team wrestler.
Bad News Allen (42 years old) Vince likes his potential as an intimidating heel, but realizes his age will prevent him from rising too far in the company. Brett Hart, who's father helped train Allen in stampede wrestling, is in Vince's ear about promoting him soon. Vince is thinking about changing Allen's name to "Bad" Leroy Brown, aka the Jim Croce song.
Bam Bam Bigalow (24 years old) Vince is in absolute love with his potential. Bigalow moves so well for a big man. He is raw on the microphone and has no technical skill, but Vince is convinced he can work around those issues. Right now, Vince has so many big wrestlers he can hold off until Bam Bam is more developed. Vince and the writers still debate on who should manage him and whether he should be heel or face.
Bob Holly (24 years old) Holly has been teaming with Snow, but the teen rock-n-roll gimmick does not suit him. He simply doesn't have the charisma. Vince is convinced if he adds more muscle, he could be the next Mr. Wonderful. Holly has resisted the change and believes he can be more succesful as a face.
Bruce Pritchard (26 years old) Vince loves his potential as a manger. His mike skills are out of the world and his Southern accent makes him unique. The Jimmy Swaggert scandal has put the idea that Pritchard could be a tela-vangalist character. Something like Brother Love.....Writers would prefer to uses as a face "Bear" Bryant coach type character...Vince isn't convinced.
Chris Benoit (18 years old) Benoit is actually 17, but has kept it hidden thus far. Vince loves the way he works, but feels he is just to damn small. He doesn't find him charismatic and feels the fan will not buy him as a legit worker. Hart swears by him and thinks he could be the next Dynamite Kid. Benoit is busting his ass to work out and add bulk. This is leading to nagging injuries. All agree that the youngster has time and want to bring him along slowly.
Dean Malenko (25 years old) Yet another guy vince is skeptical about because of his size. Vince also finds him extremly boring. Not as many people are in Malenko's corner, but the quality of the guys matches are too good to deny. Vince wants him to add more mass and envisions him as a tag wrestler. Finding him a gimmick will be hard.
Eddie Gurrero (19 years old) The 3rd Generation wrestler works the lucha- livre, technical style well. Unfortunatly, Vince doesn't see that working too well in the WWF. Vince sees bringing him as Eddie Santanna, Tito's cousin, as an option. Maybe he could pair the two as a good tag team. Yet another guy, that Vince wants to bulk up.
Kevin Nash (26 years old) Vince loves his size and charisma, but wants him to get a little faster and learn some more technical wrestling. the plan is to bring him in as a bodyguard-type until he learns how to wrestle better. He is something of a party hound and the agents want to keep him away from the bright lights and bigger pay checks. Vince has agreed so far.
Kokina Maximus (18 years old) Vince doesn't care for the Savage Samoan angle. He already has Haku and Snuka and feels it would be overkill. Because he is so large, Vince is thinking him into an evil sumo type wretler. The Yokozuna!!!! Kokina would prefer to stay true to his roots, however. Right now, his conditioning is so bad that it doesn't matter. The big man has almost no mike skills, as well. Vince is willing to bide his time until the big man is more prepared to perform AND listen to instruction.
Leon White (29 years old) His advanced age, relativly speaking, means Vince will bring him up sooner than later. His college football background makes him an ideal face. Vince sees him as a working class tough-guy character. Maybe "The Baby Bull" Leon White, a rough and tumble Dusty Rhodes type character. White's limted time in Japan has him experimenting with a masked heel called Big Van Vader. Vince isn't sold on it...He feels that he already has too many big heels, but remains open to it. He will be making a desiscion shortly. In the mean time, he wants white to quit working so damn stiff.
Mabel- (17 years old) Vince loves his size, but the young man must work on every part of the buisness. He simply hasn't got a lot of God-given talent, but agents are confident he has the work ethic. Vince sees using him as JYD's "little" brother, Saint Benard. A gentle giant type....
"Mean" Mark Callous (21 years old) The guys exudes malice and dangerous. he moves well. Vince sees him as "Kane The Undertaker" a supernatural monster, but he would prefer to be a biker or a Stan Hansen type monster cowboy. whatever they decided, vince wants to pair him up with a manger becuase his mike skills aren't up to snuff. the potential is there, however.
Owen Hart (20 years old) The younger Hart brother is stealing the show in ECW. there isn't an area he needs work in. Vince isn't sure that the WWF needs another Hart, however. He wants to debut, Owen as a masked wrestler called The Blue Blazer. Owen, being sarcastic, has taken the gimmick and turned it into a joke. The move sort of put off Vince. He's decided to leave him in ECW to give him time to mature and grow up.
Scotty the Body (22 years old) Vince doesn't like the youngsters gimmick. He isn't quite defined enough. His skills are passable, but Vince sees him as an announcer or a manager. Scotty is resisting the idea. The agenst are trying to get him to go with the system, but the head-strong youngster doesn't want to be type-cast into a non-wrestler and wants a shot. There is debate on what his gimmick should be.
"Stunning" Steve Austin (21 years old) Vince believes Austin is much better suited to the narcisitic gimmick than Scotty. He would prefer to debut Austin as a tough face. He envisions Austin as the Texas Heartbreaker. A no-nonsense heart throb similar to the NWA's Magnum T.A. Austin likes working the heel role, however. The WWF has decided to give him time to work both angles in ECW to see which one works.
The Great Kabuki (37 years old) The veteran worker has been wonderful in showing the youngsters how to work. He will be called up very soon for his time in the WWF spotlight.
The Tasmaniac (18 years old) The youngster has all the tools, but Vince doesn't like his animal gimmick and wants to change it.Writers have several decent ideas, but can't settle or anything. Right now they will use the animal gimmick to improve his ring skills, with the understanding he will not use it in the big show.
Vince Torreli (21 years old) He wants to go by his real name, Ken Shamrock. Vince isn't sure about him at all and is thinking about giving him his release. The guy is too unpredictable and doesn't have much charisma. He keeps talking about going to Japan to work for a pro wrestlind/ semi-shoot org called Pancrese. Vince is letting him go, but wants him to work at least 1 ECW show a month
The World outside the WWF
The NWA
Vince's main competitor continues to chug along, but they are experiencing some finacial bumps as the WWF gobbles up some of their fan base and the economy begins to fade. Jim Crockett, the owner of the NWA, has reached out to Bill watts, the owner of the UWF, and is attempting to co-promote in an effort to twart Vince's expansion. Crockett maintains a loyal fan base in the South and Watts has maintained a small, but loyal, group of fans in the Midwest. The details are being ironed out.
Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes
Tried a true blood feud, booked by ....Dusty Rhodes! The fans, however, eat it up. Dusty continues to fall just short of winning tyhe title as Flair uses Arn and Ole Anderson, Tully BLanchard and manager, J.J. Dillon (The 4 Horsemen) to ambush, interfere and frustrate Rhodes at every turn. Will Rhodes finally come out on top as the Great American Bash approaches? (The Bash is a tour that starts in July and goes until mid-August)
Magnum T.A. vs. "The Russian Nightmare" Nikta Koloff
T.A., the companies future mega-star, continues to hold off the monster from Russia, but has not earned a concrete win. With the U.S. title still up for grabs, can T.A. hold off Nikta and his cronies (uncle Ivan Koloff and Krusher Kruchev)? A recent attack by the trio led to to T.A. being busted up by a chain. Will the Russians win and defile the U.S. title?
The Minnasota Wrecking Crew (Ole and Arn Anderson) vs. The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal)
This back and forth match-up has kept the fans on their toes. The Horsemen uses their brethren to twart the Warriors at every turn. The Warriors are giving them a hell of a beating, however.
Tully Blanchard vs. Barry Windham
The pattern of white-meat baby faces attempting to take the titles from the evil Horsemen continues...Windham has a sizeable following and yearns for the NWA TV title. He recently attacked Blanchard and put a saddle on him. He them mercilessly rode the injured heel around the ring, much to the delight of the crowd.

White-hot tag team action..These 2 talented teams tear it up every night and trade wins back and forth. Fuled by the witty and talented promos from heel manger, Jim Corenett, the fans are seeing the best of all four men.
The AWA
The Minnesota wrestling giant is the last of the "Big 3" and is begining to falter. Verne Gagne, the owner and former star of the promotion, has not changed with the times and continues to lose top talent to Vince and Crockett. His refusal to work and co-promote with other promoters is hurting him, but he is unwilling to shed any of his money in helping another competitor get over. Sadly, he has some great young talent that feels underappreciated by him.
Stan Hansen vs. Nick Bockwinkle
Two aging stars grapple over the AWA belt. Fans seem to like Bockwinkle, but aren't really into him. Hansen is a great worker, but works stiff and his frequent trips to Japan keep him on Verne's shit list.
Curt Henning vs. The Masked Superstar
Even Henning, the most over star in the company, cannot make fans take the masked heel get over. He doesn't talk well and his brawling style does not gel with Henning well.After frequent attacks, The Masked Superstar has injured Henning's partner, "Big" Scott Hall, and is now going after Henning to make his mark in the AWA. Henning has resolutely withstood the challenge.
Sgt. Slaughter vs. Col. DeBeers
Slaughter has been in some wars with the brutal, racist, South African mercenary. the fans are eating it up at each bloody brawl of a match. After 8 years of the pro-America drill sergeant gimmick, Slaughter can still rally the crowd.
The Midnight Rockers (Shawn Micheals and Marty Jannety) vs. Buddy Rose and Doug Sommers
The Rockers are the best team to come along in the AWA in years, but Verne isn't found of their out-of ring cockiness and they grate the older stars in the locker room with their sophmoric pranks. Their attitudes have kept the AWA tag title off them. Sherri Martel has been the moth peice of Rose and Sommers and has kept the feud white hot with her mic work.
World Class Wrestling
Frtiz Von Erich's Texas-based promotion continues to chug along, but the hard finacial times are taking their toll. The Fabulouse Freebirds (Micheal "P.S." Hayes, "Bam Bam" Terry Gordy and Buddy "Jack" Roberts) recent exadous to the UWF has hurt more than Fritz lets on. He still has his sons Kevin and Kerry, Rick Rude, The Dingo Warrior, Chris Adams and Bruiser Brody (in between Japan tours), but his numbers are down.
The UWF
Bill Watt's promtion has some great storylines and workers and they need both of those to stay afloat. The Oklahoma and Kansas market has dried up with the old fields and money is not great.He recently signed the Freebirds and is in negotiations with the NWA in an effort to stay open. Workers, Cactus Jack, Eddie "Hot Stuff" Gilbert, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, Terry Taylor, Sting and Ric Steiner can all work, but how much longer can the territory last?
The ChampionshipWrestling Alliance
Jerry Lawler and Jerry Jarrett's regional promotion, based out of Memphis, is making ends meets. They are by no means rich, but they stay within their budget and provide a quality wrestling show to their local audience.Lawler and Jarrett use The Fablouse Ones (Steve Kerin and Stan Lane) as their main tag attractions and Lawler as their main singles star. too keep cost down they continue to feed them open contract heels and then let them go. Simple practice, but it works.

McMahon- Welcome everyone to Saturday Night’s Main Event in Chicago, Illinois for a very special Saturday Night’s Main Event here on the 4th of July! I’m Vince McMahon with my broadcast partner, Jesse “The Body” Ventura! Jesse, you can bet the fireworks in the ring will be as amazing as the fireworks in the sky tonight! We have quite a number of match ups that are potentially explosive!
Ventura- Well for once, you nailed it right on the head, McMahon! The month of June was an explosive month for the fans of the World Wrestling Federation and it all comes to a head here tonight in Chi-Town! Tonight, the fake WWF champion, Hulk Hogan, and that Hollywood valet, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff take on WWF legend, “Superstar” Billy Graham and the always colorful “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Hopefully a lot of scores will be settled tonight, but I doubt it.
McMahon- Both Hogan and “Mr. Wonderful” seem intent on righting the wrongs inflicted upon them by the diabolical duo of Piper and Graham.
Ventura- Well, that is the beautiful thing about America, McMahon. Idiots like Orndorff and Hogan have the Constitutional right to be as WRONG as they want to be and can spout that nonsense til their hearts are content. Of course, we see where that got Mr. T.
McMahon- (closing his eyes to compose himself) Please Jesse…
Ventura- (Lets out a big hearty laugh) Lighten up, McMahon and let’s get this show on the road!
SEGMENT 1
Haku vs. George “The Animal” Steele
vs.
Haku and his manager, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan make their way to ringside. They are both flanked by fellow Heenan clients "the King" Harley Race, Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy.
McMahon- It would appear that “the Weasel” is
Ventura-“The Brain”, Vince. Please get the man’s moniker correct.
McMahon- As I was saying, it appears HEENAN has brought the whole family with him to the ring tonight. Do you find that surprising, Jesse?
Ventura- Not really, McMahon. They are a close knit unit and they aren’t called the family for nothing. I think this is a phenomenal show support in light of the fact that both Studd and Bundy have a tag team match tonight.
Steele comes out with The British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid. The Bulldogs are clad in street clothes. The trio’s manager, Capt. Lou Albano, is nowhere to be found. Steele looks angry. The Bulldogs looked worried.

As the trio gets near the ring, Smith requests the microphone.
Smith- If I may have your attention, I’d like to speak. George, the Kid and myself are out here to let everyone that our beloved manager, Lou Albano, has gone missing. After my match against Brutis Beefcake last week, Lou disappeared mysteriously.
We are currently looking for him, but Jack Tunney has given us all the night off to sort this mess out. The Kid and I do not feel it would be right to take on the Dream Team without Lou with us.
George, on the other hand, has a lot of frustration to take out on you there. (He points towards Haku. He then looks directly into the camera.)
Brutis…Greg…Slick, if we find out you have had anything to do with this. You will rue the day. So help me God, we will take a lot more from you than those titles. Good luck, George. Kid, let’s go find those miscreants and get some answers.
McMahon- Strong words from Davey Boy Smith.
Ventura- This will be a HUGE disadvantage for Steele. I mean his mind is already only so big and to have those distractions in it. Not a good situation for him against a monster like Haku.
Steele enters the ring and the two animalistic competitors stare across from one another. The bell rings and the two brawlers tear into one another! Fists, kicks, and elbows fly at a rapid pace as both me seek to incapacitate one another. Steele finally comes out on top in the exchange by chopping Haku in the throat.
Steele rakes the big man across the back with his finger nails and bites into his forehead! The referee breaks it up, but Heenan and his clients are furious on the outside! Steele grunts a few times and waits for Haku to stand up, before knocking him back down with a running knee to the gut.
Steele attempts to lift Haku up by the hair, but the wily heel slams his forearm between Steele’s crotch. Steele bends over in pain, but is met with a quick uppercut and headbutt that floors him. Haku starts to stand, but opts to take his turn raking Steele’s back with his fingernails.
As Heenan and his fellow stalemates shout encouragement, Haku slowly dismantles George Steele. Bit by bit, the huge Samoan monster pounds away at Steele’s resolve and stamina, until there is nothing left. Using slams, eye rakes, foot chokes, back breakers and the ring ropes (burns, dropping him throat first, etc.) Haku eventually leaves George Steele incapacitated in the middle of the ring.
McMahon- At this point, any further punishment is just unnecessary. George Steele doesn’t even have strength to stand! Why doesn’t Haku just end this?
Ventura-The man is obsessed with ending careers now, it would seem. He is sending a very stern message to the WWF. He is not a man to be taken lightly.
McMahon- Someone needs to do something before George Steele winds up like Jake Roberts!
Haku slowly picks Steele up and props him in the corner. As Steele attempts to fall back down, Haku wraps his arms around the ring ropes to prevent him from falling. He then backs up a few steps and unleashes a viscous thrust kick to Steele’s chin!
McMahon- Good lord! Stop this right now! Steele is seriously hurt!
The referee jumps on top of Steele and calls for the bell. Haku is incensed that he can’t hurt his opponent more, but the rest of the Heenan Family enter the ring and manage to restrain him. The Bulldogs reappear and stand over Steele as the paramedics load him onto a stretcher. As everyone clears out of the ring, Heenan motions for his guys to stay where they are asks for the microphone.
Heenan- Evening, humanoids. I’m glad everyone here tonight was able to witness the complete domination of George Steele by this man (pointing to Haku) and the total dismantling of Andre the Giant and that rube Hillbilly Jim in that idiotic Kentucky strap match later on tonight.
What the heck do people on Kentucky do for fun? I mean you think getting blasted off their corn “sqeezin” ( he uses quotation fingers) and dating their family would keep them busy, but apparently they like to hit each other with strips of leather. Unbelievable!
At the end of the day, old Marble mouth and Pig Boy are going to be done.
Andre for the last 5 years, I’ve been trying to rid the WWF of your huge carcass. You are a freak that has no business in this sport. I’ve been saying it for years. Well if Haku can get rid of Jake Roberts, Double K and Big John will have no problems getting rid of you and sending you back to France. Let’s get ready gentlemen, we’ve still got more work to do!

(The scene shoots to the back where Billy Graham sits by his locker with a annoyed look on his face. To his right are Jacque and Raymond Rougue are yelling. To his left, Jimmy Hart, flanked by the Hart Foundation, is screaming at the top of their lungs.)

(The scene breaks down as all five men begin yelling at the top of their lungs. Finally Graham has had enough.)
Graham- That is it! I can’t take it anymore! If I would have known that buying half of this federation would be this much trouble…(He grits his teeth in frustration.)
I’m going to kill Tunney for not fixing this beforehand. All right!!!! You two want the shot? You are going to wrestle for it. The winner will get the Bulldog’s shot later tonight.
Jimmy Hart- But that is two matches in one night! That isn’t fair!
Raymond- We’ll take it.
Jimmy Hart- (He pauses in shock at Raymond’s statement) Well then my boys are in as well. You two will regret this!
Jacque- We’ll see about that Hart. Have your two clowns in that ring.
SEGMENT 3
”The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBase vs. Chris Walker
(Before the match begins, DiBase asks for the microphone. This elicits a loud chorus of boos from the crowd. Walker is fired up and goes to charge DiBase, who quickly hops to the floor. He takes a moment to compose himself as the crowd cheers his retreat.)

DiBase- (He smirks before beginning to speak) Whoa there! You're pretty fired up aren't you kid? You see I understand. a few weeks ago, I made you look like an idiot on national TV, didn't I? You were my debut here in the WWF and I offered you a deal.
(Walker shakes his head yes. Obviously, he is angry about being tricked by "The Million Dollar Man" and wants revenge.)
Yeah, that's right. You got in trouble because you didn't understand the fine print. Just like tonight, you didn't read the fine print. You see kid, tonight you are taking on my newest employee, not me.(He lets loose his trademark sinister laugh.) It's no secret that I've been searching for security and I've found the baddest man I could to watch my back. Chris Walker that is BAD NEWS for you!
(DiBase's music kicks up again and a lone figure comes down to ringside. Wearing black trunks and black gloves with the fingers cut out, a big man makes his way to ringside. an angry scowl etched across his face.)

(The big man nods to DiBase and hops on to the ring apron. He points at Walker and steps into the ring. The bell rings and the match begins.)
McMahon-So Ted DiBase is going to let someone else wrestle his match for him?
Ventura-The man is a millionaire. He has already beaten Chris Walker. Why should he waste his time when he could have someone else do it for him? By the looks of this guy, he didn’t come cheap.
The huge man gives Walker a kick to the gut and fires off some clubbing forearms that send Walker to his knees. Walker attempts to fire back some punches from his knees, but DiBase’s new employee seems unfazed and snatches him back to his feet.
Walker is scooped up and slammed quickly and violently. Before the ring quits shaking from the impact, the big man drops a violent elbow drop to his chest. He goes for a cover, but Walker manages to kick out after a one and a half count. The big man seems annoyed by the kick out and shakes his head in contempt.
He stands and patiently waits for Walker to make his way to his feet. As Walker attempts to get his bearings, the big man blasts him with a standing enzuigiri. Walker crumbles in a heap and the big man covers him. 1…2…3.
DiBase leaps into the ring and raises his new employee’s hand.
DiBase- Welcome to the WWF Bad News Brown! (Diabolical laugh as the show cuts to commercial.)

(The show returns, Slick and the Dream Team are backstage with “Mean” Gene Okerland. The WWF tag team champions and their manager have sly grins on their faces.)
Okerland- Gentleman big news involving you revealed earlier on, it turns out you will be facing the winner of the match between Hart Foundation and the Rougue Brothers and NOT the British Bulldogs. How does this affect your strategy?
Slick- Brother Gene, we are positively ecstatic about his revelation. To take on a team that has already wrestled their hearts out earlier in the night is just too easy. To NOT have to wrestle those smelly ole’ Bulldogs again is wonderful. Do you have any idea how tired we are of them?
Okerland- Well, I can understand that, but the fact of the matter is that your clients were manhandled last week in singles matches with both Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid. As a matter of fact, your team hasn’t beaten the Bulldogs since you won the titles from them in a very controversial manner. Can you see why the Bulldogs and the fans are clamoring for another rematch.
Slick- Well Gene, all I can say is that just because the fans want it doesn’t mean they will get it. Those singles matches meant nothing. My boys were thrown in their at the last minute with no forewarning. It was a straight-up conspiracy to make these two champions look bad. The fact of the matter is that they are the champions.
Okerland- What do you have to say about the disappearance of Capt. Lou Albano? The Bulldogs are obviously distraught about his disappearance.
Slick-What do I have to say? Oh well I’m glad you asked because I’ve got PLEN-TAY to say about that old fat fool! You see he put his hands on my person, Gene. I can take a lot of things, but I will not have that grubby old fool defile my style with those dirty fingers. So I took him out with a small assist from my clients. We left poor Lou laying and put him on a bus back to New York. (He chuckles.) I guess old boy hasn’t scrounged up change for a phone call, yet. Sorry Bulldogs, I just hope you two fools can figure out what your idiot manger couldn’t; LEAVE US BE OR PAY THE COST!!!It ain’t a hard concept, Gene.
SEGMENT 5
The Fabulous Rougue Brothers (Jacque and Raymond Rougue) vs. The Hart Foundation (Brett “The Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart) with Jimmy “The Mouth of the South” Hart
Jacque and Neidhart begin the match. Both teams appear focused and ready to go. The Anvil goes for a strong lock up, but Jacque ducks under his attempt and catches him with an armdrag as he turns around. Neidhart quickly pops uplifts Rougue up for a body slam as he lunges toward the big heel. Turning the tables again, Jacque bails out of the back before Neidhart can slam him. Neidhart quickly turns around, but eats a quick standing dropkick from Rougue. Thinking on his feet, Neidhart quickly rolls to the ropes to recover.
“The Anvil” is obviously annoyed with the way things have turned out as he grabs his jaw in pain. He glares at Rougue as the Canadian face motions for him to come back to the middle of the ring. Neidhart steps toward Rougue and attempts to sneak in a quick jab. Rougue ducks under, but opens himself up to a huge knee lift from Neidhart.
Neidhart quickly begins pounding his stunned opponent. Rougue covers up, but Neidhart’s relentless and furious barrage takes its toll. Neidhart quickly picks up Jacque and whips him off the ropes, but Jacque reverses the whip.
Neidhart comes bounding off the ropes with a full head of steam, but Jacque leapfrogs him. Off the second rebound, Jacque monkey flips “The Anvil”. The move and Neidhart’s momentum send him across the ring and almost throws him through the ropes. He clutches his back as he quickly gets back to his feet. Rougue rushes towards him, but the wily veteran backdrops him over the top rope and to the floor.
Rougue rolls on the floor in pain as Jimmy Hart taunts him from a distance with his megaphone. Neidhart slowly goes to the floor and picks up his injured opponent. He rams Jacque’s head into the ring apron and floors him with a short arm clothesline. As the referee’s count winds down to 7, he rolls Rougue into the ring.
Neidhart quickly tags in his partner and they work over Rougue with a variety of double team tactics, before the referee breaks them up. The next few minutes are more quick tags by the Foundation as they use their numbers advantage to wear Jacque down. With each series and subsequent pin attempt, Jacque’s resolve remains strong. He barely kicks out each time, but the resolute Canadian is not going down easily.
Jacque is finally able to break away and tag in his brother when “The Anvil” attempts to whip him into a “Hitman” running clothesline, but has whip reversed. A shocked Hart is easy prey for a last ditch dropkick effort by Jacque. As Brett flipped over the top rope and to the floor, Jacque crawled to his corner and tagged in Raymond.
The elder Rougue brother hits the ring like tornado digging into Neidhart and putting him on his back with a variety of dropkicks, flying head scissors, flying shoulderblocks and running clotheslines. The crowd cheers excitedly as the foreign fan favorite takes control of the match.
Unfortunately, they and Raymond fail to remember that Neidhart isn’t the legal man in the ring. Hart comes flying in from behind and buckles Raymond’s knee with his shoulder. Raymond collapses in pain at the impact to his joint.
Being the ring technician he is, Hart works Rougue’s knee over with stomps, spinning toe holds and leg cranks. Rougue endures the pain as Neidhart and his manger shout taunts from ringside.
Hart applies another spinning toehold, but Rougue counters with a boot to his face as he leans over. Hart stumbles back into Jacque, who takes the opportunity to slug him in the back of the head. Hart quickly turns around and lunges at Jacque, but Raymond manages to sneak up behind him and go for the school boy roll up. Hart kicks out, however.
Hart charges Raymond, who hits the deck and allows Bret to go running over him. Hart bounces off the ropes and straight into a monkey flip! Raymond tags in his brother and the two whip Hart off the ropes. Hart quickly rebounds back towards the center of the ring and into a double dropkick!
Jacque takes his time working over “The Hitman”, using a number of rest holds to leech away his strength and rebuild his own. A chinlock is transitioned to sleeperhold and all appears lost when Neidhart saves his teammate by interfering. Raymond quickly enters the ring to even the score and a four way brawl breaks out!
The referee is running from pair to pair in an attempt to restore order. As Jimmy Hart hops on the ring apron, the referee quickly diverts his attention to him. As he does, a lone wrestler sprints from the back and slides into the ring wearing a black singlet.

McMahon- What’s this? Who the hell is that?
Ventura- That is Own Hart, Bret’s little brother!
Owen waits patiently as his brother and Jacque Rougue struggle in the corner, When Jacque turns around Owen blasts him with a super kick! As quickly as he came, Owen sprints back to the dressing room, as Jimmy Hart drops down to ringside from the ring apron. The referee herds Raymond back to his corner.
Hart crawls to his corner and tags in Neidhart. Neidhart scoops Jacque up in a bearhug as his partner bounces off the ropes. HART ATTACK clothesline!!!! Neidhart goes for the cover. 1..2…3!!! The Hart Foundation win the title shot later tonight!

Hulk Hogan and Paul "Mr. Wonderful" Orndorff
(The show returns from commercial)
Hogan and Orndorff are preparing for their match in Hogan’s locker room. Hogan stretches intently, a focused look on his face. Orndorff appears to be searching for something.
Orndorff- Hey champ. You got any athletic tape? I need some for my wrists.
Hogan- (barely notices) Uh, yeah sure. It’s in my locker, brother. In my bag….
Orndorff goes to Hogan’s locker and pulls out Hogan’s bag. He opens the zipper and begins going through it. The camera catches a surprised look on “Mr. Wonderful’s face as he pulls out two black ski masks from the bag.
Orndorff- Hey Hulk, what are these?
Hogan looks over and spots the masks. A surprised looks pops on his face as he makes eye contact with “Mr. Wonderful”.
Hogan- I have no idea what those things are doing in my bag, brother. They weren’t there when I came to the arena.
Orndorff- (with a skeptical, worried look on his face) You know T got jumped by men wearing masks like these, Hulk? It looks like someone is trying to set you up or…(His voice trails off. The unspoken question hangs in the air.)
Hogan- I swear, brother. I’ve never seen those masks before. Someone put them there. We just need to find out who and my guess is that one of them will be in that ring across from us tonight.
Orndorff- (staring at Hogan intently) I think you may be right, Hulk.
SEGMENT 7

King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan)
vs. and
Andre the Giant and Hillbilly Jim
Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy vs Andre the Giant and Hillbilly Jim in a Kentucky Strap Match
(The winning team is the first team who has both members touch all four ring post in succession)
The match begins with Andre and Studd being strapped together. Bundy and Jim soon join them. After all four men tentatively test the strength of the strap and pull it taunt, the referee signals for the match to begin.
Andre immediately begins pulling Studd to him inch by inch, while the big heel frantically tries to pull away. Jim and Bundy charge one another and begin flailing at each other. Andre eventually drags Studd to him and begins thrashing him.
The next few minutes are intense brawling as all four giants chop, punch and hit one another in an attempt to gain an advantage. As the action begins to slow down, Andre pins Studd in a corner and is reddening his chest with some stiff chops and slaps.
Bundy has used a few dirty tactics (eye pokes and bites) to get an advantage and is wailing on his exposed back with the leather strap that connects him. With each blow and sickening “smack” can be heard across the arena and painful red welts are forming on Jim’s back and arms.
Andre goes to whip Studd across the ring, but the strap runs out of length and the big man almost has is arm jerked out of socket as he suddenly stops in the middle of the ring. Andre slowly stalks him and tries to pick him up when Bundy sideswipes him.
Bundy wraps part of his strap around the giant’s throat and begins choking him out. Studd uses the time to recover, but Jim comes crashing in and saves his partner. Using the strap, Jim works Bundy over with a few taunt slaps and even clotheslines the big man with the leather belt! The sound of Bundy crashing echoes and the ring shakes. The whole scenario illicits a small pop from the crowd.
Jim manages to tag one turnbuckle, but Bundy’s immense weight is too much for him to drag to the next corner. Jim eventually quits struggling and kneels down to reign more punches on Bundy’s massive cranium.
Andre pins Studd in the corner again and is choking him out when Bobby “the Brain” Heenan interferes and catches Andre with a cheap shot from the outside. It does little but enrages Andre, but the second Andre’s attentions are turned towards the devious manager Studd slips in a quick poke in the eye.
Big John uses some weighty forearm slams to stun Andre. The giant heel uses part of he and Andre’s tether to choke his giant adversary out. Luckily, Jim diverts his attention from Bundy and breaks up the attack. Jim begins firing off on Studd with hard left and rights. As Heenan mounts the ring apron to interfere again, Jim manages to catch him with a shot as well! The crowd eats it up and calls for more.
Andre intercepts a recovered Bundy and begins pummeling him with huge right hands. As the straps start to become tangled, Jim and Andre switch back to the adversaries they are strapped to and continue to exercise their dominance on the big heels. After a few moments of his clients getting beat up, Heenan gets up off the arena floor holding his jaw and reacts.
Ventura- It looks like Bobby is motioning to the back! He’s waving his arms! Something is up, McMahaon!
As Haku and “the King” Harley Race come jogging down the aisle, the crowd erupts with a chorus of boos!
McMahon- Oh come on! This isn’t fair!
Haku and Race hit the ring and attack an unsuspecting Andre and Jim. The huge faces initially fend off the attack, but Bundy and stud soon intervene and the numbers game eventually wins out. Heenan mounts the ring apron and begins directing the attack. The referee calls for the bell, disqualifying Studd and Bundy, but the Heenan Family continue their assault.
During the ensuing attack, Studd and Bundy manage to get off their straps and the four heels tie Andre into a corner. Bundy repeatedly Avalanches the immobile Andre until he is limp in the corner.
Meanwhile, Studd, Haku and Race stomp away at Jim as he tries to climb the ring ropes. As Andre hangs limply in the corner, all four heels stomp away at Jim until he is limp as well.
Finally, a number of referees and ringside officials, led by Hulk Hogan, rush into the ring and break it all up. The Heenan Family celebrates their attack as they walk to the back.
(the show cuts to commercial) SEGMENT 8
"Superstar" Billy Graham and
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Cowboy" Bob Orton
(The show returns to see “Superstar” Billy Graham go barging into “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s dressing room. Piper and his bodyguard, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, are in a deep discussion and do not notice him at first.)
Piper- Perfect, Bob! This whole thing is working out perfect! I just can’t believe-
Whoa, Billy! I think there is some knock in that door there! (He walks over and taps it.) Yep! Plenty of knock right there!
Graham- Let’s get something straight, Roddy. I’ve bankrolled my entire life to purchase half this company. You might want to remember that, before you start running off at the mouth. Secondly, and most important, is the business at hand. I’m making sure that you are ready for our match tonight.
Piper- (chuckles) You’re asking me?
Graham- (rolls his eyes) Yes, Piper. I’m asking you.
Piper- Of course, I’m ready! I’m the Hot Rod! One half of my problem has been taken care of and the other half is in that ring.
Graham- Listen, I don’t give a damn about Mr. T. I’m glad he’s gone, to be honest. I would have taken him out man to man, but –
Piper- I would have loved to do that too, Billy! Believe me on this. Nothing would have made me more happy than to embarrass that guy on national TV tonight, but I’m not going to cry over spilt milk or broken shoulders. If I ever found out who did it, I’m still not sure if I should shake their hands or kick their butts, but I do know what I’m going to do to Orndorff tonight.
Graham- (begins tapping Piper in the chest with his finger as he speaks) You do that, Roddy. You go out there and do what you need to do, but remember what is your beef and what is my beef. Hogan is mine. Are we clear on that?
Piper- (an angry glare on his face) We are crystal, Superstar. We are crystal clear.
SEGMENT 9

vs. , and
Slick with Brutis Beefcake and Greg "the Hammer" Valentine
The Hart Foundation (Brett “The Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart) with Jimmy “The Mouth of the South” Hart vs. The Dream Team (Brutis Beefcake and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine with Slick for the WWF Tag Team titles
The match is set to begin following pre-match introductions. McMahon and Ventura are stoked about this rare heel vs. heel match-up. Valentine and Hart stare across the ring at one another as their partners assume their positions outside the ring.
The bell sounds and the two wrestlers begin to circle one another. All of a sudden The British Bulldogs slide into the ring in street clothes!

Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid
Like a flash of lightning, the two intruders begin dismantling everyone in the ring. Valentine and Hart are quickly put on their backs and The Bulldogs tackle Neidhart and Beefcake as they enter the ring.
McMahon- The Bulldogs are clearing house! They look furious! Slick and his clients have unleashed two angry dogs! Good Lord, look at them go!
Ventura- These two prima donnas couldn’t have anyone else get a shot at those titles could they? This is horrible!
Dynamite Kid flattens “the Anvil” with a stiff head butt and quickly sends him over the top rope with a dropkick. Meanwhile, Davey Boy turns Brett Hart inside out with a running clothesline. Hart rolls out to the floor and collapses. Jimmy Hart runs from each of his clients to the other in a panic.
The British Bulldogs unleash hell on The Dream Team in the ring, as Slick begs the referee to intervene and stop the attack. Kid and Smith employ double clotheslines, double dropkicks, double backdrops and double suplexs on their adversaries with evil intent. When a host of referees come down to split it up, Valentine and Beefcake mange to rollout in the commotion and begin hauling ass back to the locker room.
As they run away, Smith grabs a microphone.
Smith- That’s right! Run away you three cowardly curs! Know this, we are not done with you. Not by a longshot are we done inflicting pain on your sorry hides. Before it was business, now you rats have gone and turned this personal. Do you hear me? No matter where you go, we will be there waiting to brawl. You won’t be able to go out to eat, go to a library or use the bloody bath room without me and The Kid there kicking your butts! This is just the beginning; you should have let sleeping dogs lie!
(The show fades to commercial)
SEGMENT 10

Hulk Hogan and Paul” Mr. Wonderful” Orndorff vs. “Superstar” Billy Graham and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper with “Cowboy” Bob Orton
The heel team waits for Hogan to do his typical entrance. He and Orndorff pose together to fire up the crowd and do the hard-of-hearing routine. The crowd eats it up, but Piper and Graham eventually mount the ring apron and break the whole thing up.
The face tag team is annoyed by this disrespect, but the referee steps in and keeps the whole episode from breaking into a donnybrook.
Graham, orders Piper to the outside and steps to the middle of the ring, a direct challenge to Hogan. Hogan happily obliges and the two begin staring each other down. Intense words are exchanged as the crowd buzzes with excitement. Graham eventually shoves Hogan away, but Hogan quickly steps back in with a right hand.
The two titans exchange punches as the crowd cheers wildly. They begin to lock up and start bulling one another around the ring. One big man will push the other into the ropes and throw a few punches, but the other will quickly reverse the position and throw some of his own. As they roll past Piper, he reaches out and slaps his partner on the shoulder.
The sneaky heel then quickly blindsides Hogan with a sucker punch and starts hitting him from behind. Graham is unaware that he was tagged out and is incensed. The referee explains what has happened, but Graham is obviously unhappy and shoots Piper an annoyed look as he goes to their corner.
Piper maintains his advantage over Hogan with a variety of questionable techniques, including eye pokes, biting, boxing the champion’s ears and choke holds. The whole time, The “Rowdy Scott” hurls insults at Orndorff to fire him up.
Graham yells at Piper to tag him in and slams his hand on the turnbuckle. Piper walks Hogan over and tags in his partner with a grin on his face. Graham enters the ring with a scowl and lays Hogan out with a big clothesline.
Graham walks around his fallen opponent with a look of contempt on his face. He eventually picks up Hogan and plants him with backbreaker. Instead of letting him fall off his knee, Graham holds him there and stretches him out a little bit. The referee asks Hogan if he wants to quit, but Hogan resolutely refuses.
Graham lets Hogan go and stands over him. He flexes his bicep, gives it a kiss and drops it on Hogan’s chest. He goes for an arrogant cover, but Hogan kicks out. Graham punishes Hogan with some punches from one knee to show him how foolish he was not to give up.
Hogan gets whipped off the ropes and backdropped. Things aren’t looking good for the champion. Graham picks him up and whips him into a turnbuckle. Graham quickly follows up with a clothesline that mashes Hogan into the corner.
Graham makes a costly error when he attempts to repeat the tactic. Hogan manages to lift his leg as Graham comes barreling in. “The Superstar’s” jaw crashes into Hogan’s boot and he crumbles to the ground. Hogan takes a few moments to collect himself.
Orndorff is jumping up and down on the ring apron to get the tag, but Hogan holds up a finger and asks Orndorff to hold on. Hogan then proceeds to batter Graham with some stiff right hands. Graham stumbles backwards, but Hogan quickly snatches him up in a Bearhug!
Graham struggles in Hogan’s grip. The humiliation of being trapped in his own hold is written all over the former champion’s face, but Hogan’s grip is too strong. Hogan holds Graham in the hold for a few moments, but Graham eventually thumbs Hogan in the eye. Hogan releases the hold and grabs his injured eye in pain. A red-faced Graham stumbles towards his corner and tags in Piper. Hogan blindly walks towards his corner. Orndorff slaps his shoulder and enters the ring.
Piper, who comes running in to catch Hogan before he can make a tag, comes face to face with an angry Orndorff. The look of surprise on Piper’s face is priceless as he slowly backs up and attempts to beg off. Orndorff looks to the crowd for a moments and tears into Piper with kicks and punches.
The barrage eventually back Piper into the corner. “Mr. Wonderful” attempts to continue his assault, but the referee steps in and attempts to break up the attempt. Orndorff backs off, but Piper uses the opportunity to box his ears over the referee’s shoulders.
Orndorff stumbles backwards and Piper uses a few moments to recollect his wits. The wily heels carefully approach Orndorff as he attempts to gather his bearings. As Orndorff turns around to face his opponent, Piper stuns him with a low blow.
Sensing he is now firmly in control, piper takes a few moments to shout a few insults to some ringside fans. Slowly but surely, he grabs a fist of Orndorff’s hair and throws big punches at his forehead. The measured shots have an impact. Orndorff stumbles around the ring as Piper taunts him.
Piper uses the top ring rope as a weapon, rubbing Orndorff’s forehead across it. Orndorff attempts to punch his way out of his current predicament, but Piper dodges each telegraphed punch and laughs at him. He gives Orndorff a stiff kick to the gut and floors him with a knee lift.
The momentum of the match swings when Piper goes to whip Orndorff off the ropes, but accidentally whips him into the referee. The referee collapses in a heap and all hell breaks loose.
Orton attempts to take advantage of the situation and gives Orndorff a stiff punch from the outside. Hogan, seeing his partner getting attacked by an outside party, storms into the ring and lays out Piper with a clothesline. Graham quickly enters the ring and lays into Hogan. The two titans begin throwing huge punches at one another.
Orndorff rolls to the outside, but is met by Orton. “The Cowboy” lands a few stiff punches, but “Mr. Wonderful” manages to dig down and return some punches of his own. As Orton stumbles, Orndorff takes him out with a clothesline. Meanwhile, piper slips out off the other side of the ring and attempts to slip up on Orndorff from behind.
Right before he gets to “Mr. Wonderful”, Orndorff spins around and catches Piper flat footed. Piper begs off slowly, but Orndorff stalks him. Piper suddenly turns around and sprints back to the dressing room. Orndorff follows after him with an angry look etched on his face. Orton slowly gets up and stumbles after his employer and his attacker.
The exodus of Piper, Orndorff and Orton leave Hogan and Graham alone in the ring. Hogan has begun to get the better of the exchange, but the wily veteran manages to drop to one knee and low blow the WWF champion.
Hogan drops to his knees in front of Billy Graham and takes a stiff right hand to the jaw. Rather than go down, Hogan immediately returns it! The two heavyweights begin beating each other up on their knees! Eventually, the grapple with one another and begin rolling around the ring throwing shots at one another.
The referee manages to step in a separate them momentarily, but it only lasts in the time it takes for them to stand up. Hogan and Graham run at each other and keep going at it. The referee attempts to step in again, but Hogan and Graham both inadvertently double hip toss him over the top rope! These two competitors rage is getting the better of them!
Numerous officials start running down to the ring, but “The Hulkster” and “The Superstar” begin throwing them around like rag dolls. One official nearly has his head taken off by a Graham clothesline! Hogan actually presses an official over his head and throws him at Graham! Graham is knocked down by the move, but immediately kicks out and launches the poor guy through the ropes and to the floor! Graham rushes Hogan, but the champion backdrops him over the top rope! The camera starts to fade as officials manage to jump on Graham to keep him from getting back in the ring.

Well, that whole picture limit thing sort of cramped up a lot of what I wanted to do...I left in as many as I could, but had to take out some reruns that appear earlier. (The Rougues vs. Hart Foundation match; Race and Haku interfering in the Andre and Jim match.)
Sped some debuts up and i hope it suprised everyone and generated some excitement! :2eye:
