Very intruiging episode, looks like you've got some big ideas for the roster. From what I gather, the man in UFC is most likely Brock Lesnar, although there's a chance it could be a fighter. The guy in WWE could be a lot of underutilized guys, but I'm thinking Matt Hardy. The guy from TNA sounds like Samoa Joe.

With also the additions of the men formerly known as Kennedy and Umaga, the roster's looking pretty good. Looking forward to more, Crunk.

This could well be the created thread i get in to. It's developing well with explanations given as to why these names could end up joining the company. It certainly helps to have a good background and build up.

Good luck with this and i'll be keeping my eye on it for sure.

I'm just going to second what everybody else has said; this looks promising. You've got a good thing going with the start and as people have said the way you described why they would want to come to the Fed is very good and added that bit extra to the start.

I'm intrigued to find out who the wrestlers that you have signed are. I've got a slight idea who they might be. So...Good Luck with this!

Well, I owe you a review anyway. This backstory looks spectacular, and it's always great to see a created fed come around. I can hardly wait to see where you end up come the first show...

...give Kennedy a push and you should do fine.

Part 3: The Story Breaks:

411mania.com:
Quote:
“Reports have been flying that Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair are putting the finishing touches on their new wrestling promotion, the Elite Wrestling League. The EWL is set to make its nationwide debut on the FOX network as part of their Saturday night lineup later in the Summer. Their weekly “Battle Zone” shows will be filmed live at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC in front of an audience. As far as talent, EWL higher ups have been very tight-lipped but, as the inaugural television debut grows closer, they are expected to name their roster.
Random Blogger:
Quote:
“I’m not sure what to make of Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair’s rumored EWL promotion, but it has to be better than the crap on Raw and TNA right now.”
Smark #602:
Quote:
“Oh yes, another playground for WWE rejects…just what the business needs!”
JR’s Blog:
Quote:
“Yes, the rumors are true; Eric Bischoff and WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair are starting their own wrestling promotion. I spoke to Ric just the other day, and I can honestly say that I haven’t heard him that excited since he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. I wish him and Eric Bischoff all the best.”

And, in completely unrelated stories (…or are they?)

WWE.com
Quote:
“World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown superstar Kane. WWE wishes Kane the best in all future endevours.”
411mania.com
Quote:
"Samoa Joe asked to be released from his TNA contract earlier this week. Slammiversary's KOTM match will be his last match with the company. He is already removed from the main roster page. Many insiders tell us he hasn't been happy with his direction in the company for a while."
-------------------

Now, before anyone says anything, I know Slammiversary already happened and I know Kane made his return at The Bash, but I started this before either of those and I already have both men wrapped up in storylines, so I'm not changing anything. I'll probably post a few more updates concerning signings to the roster before I post up the first show. Thanks for all the positive feedback so far, and feel free to make any predictions as to who you feel might be on the roster.

More good stuff for the eventual debut of EWL. Your quotes from the IWC were right on the money, a nice touch in getting some comments from them. JR's blog also definitely sounded like JR, great job all around. Also, with Kane and Joe gone from their respective companies, they'd make good additions to EWL's roster. Looking forward to the unveiling of the rosters and the first show.

Others I think might make it onto your roster, or would be good additions in any case:
RVD
Jimmy Jacobs
Tyler Black
Petey Williams

Samoa Joe Interview Highlights:

On Leaving TNA: "I just felt like I wasn't going anywhere. It seemed like all the hard work I had put in to getting there was just wasted and I was just stuck. I had to get out."

On Possibly Joining EWL: "Let me put it this way. If you had the choice between staying in a promotion that's wasting your talent or joining up with what some consider the next big thing in wrestling, what would you do?"

"I got a really interesting call from Eric Bischoff the other day, and it seems I may be joining "the Elite". More details to come, stay tuned!

Very interesting set of notes there, Crunk. Joe and Kennedy would certainly make fine additions to the roster, and I'm looking forward to the announcement of the first five signees. This is looking very good, so keep it up, Crunk.

Really great work your doing with this BTB, your taking time developing the back story instead of just throwing a random roster together. It's great work and I will be following all these updates closely.
